We had stopped at a Quiktrip gas station to refuel, and our car or the pump's gas tank sensor was broken because it made the tank over-fill and didn't shut off. My mom made me touch the gasoline with my bare hands. Like actually pulled my hand to touch the gas with hers, and wiped the gas off her hands on my sleeve. Especially when you need a bathroom break and something to drink or munch on? QuikTrip and RaceTrac are both my first choices. Then 7Eleven. I will pass up Shell 99% of the time as they are unreasonably more expensive for gas and their stores are big hit or big miss as far as cleanliness and usable bathrooms go.

In the capital one offers there’s 8% back at Maverik and QuikTrip right now, which are generally also the cheapest and most convenient gas stations in my area.

Early Monday morning, Omaha police responded to a QuikTrip gas station for a domestic disturbance call. Officers spoke with Noemi Guzman, who claimed she had been assaulted and had some injuries on her arm. At the time, she declined to go to the hospital and officers documented the incident.

I had a question about the maintenance technician jobs. I see there is something called "equipment technician". Do they just work on equipment or do they have to work on plumbing as well? I'm a refrigeration technician by trade. I work on rack equipment in supermarkets but I'm looking to slow down. That said, I don't particularly want to work on gas station toilets. Is there an on call rotation? What are the hours like? I see that they pay extra to your base wage when you work on the weekends but I assume you have OT pay as well? Just wondering what the off hours look like.

Worked there for 4 years and finally left for my dream job after college in Nov 2025 , no regrets at all. Clerks are overworked, hours are tightly controlled (makes so they can't just hire more people, like they should), and managers are constantly stressed & staying late trying to keep stores afloat. On top of that, they reduced clerks max pay… in this economy. With inflation. Makes zero sense. I also think clerks are expected to do too much, considering pay, lack of breaks, and benefits officially given to them. I (23 NB) was at the QuikTrip with my fiancee (22 NB) and our friend (27 F). I noticed there was a metal divider up by the hot drinks station, indicating that some of the nozzles were being cleaned. One of the nozzles being hot chocolate. I made a joke/comment aloud to my fiance that, "You just can't get hot chocolate no matter what QuikTrip you got to" or something like that.
