I worked at another retail store and we weren’t supposed to but we would take customers old receipts when they told us to throw them away and instead we would do the customer survey at the bottom and write good reviews about ourselves. I got hired at JCPenneys right out of school and was told I could get hired as a stylist once I got my license. Well I got my license and my manager decided she doesn’t wanna hire students💔 I’ve been handing out resumes to places and have been honest about working at Pennys and why I’m not a stylist over there, but I feel like the owners I talk to get weird about it and I end up getting ghosted.
