Surveys2d agoI worked at another retail store and we weren’t supposed to but we would take customers old receipts when they told us to throw them away and instead we would do the customer survey at the bottom and write good reviews about ourselves. Can we do that here too secretly and do it on like private incognito mode on your phone or does JCPenney catch on? Anybody done this? Also if we go to jcp salon and want to do a survey with our receipt even though our discount is on there can we do that one and not get in trouble or no Job advice needed2d agoI got hired at JCPenneys right out of school and was told I could get hired as a stylist once I got my license. Well I got my license and my manager decided she doesn’t wanna hire students💔 I’ve been handing out resumes to places and have been honest about working at Pennys and why I’m not a stylist over there, but I feel like the owners I talk to get weird about it and I end up getting ghosted. There’s a lot more going on at that store that makes me wanna leave. I just wanna start working in the industry :( Should I not mention working at JCPennys? Do yall think I’d have better luck leaving that detail out? Finding a suit for a 14 year old who’s outgrown boys sizing but drowns in a men’s small3d agoTyler has a wedding to go to in six weeks and I’ve been quietly stressing about this for longer than I’d like to admit. He’s 14, just over 5’4”, and built solidly. Boys suits & blazers in the husky or plus range stop fitting him properly somewhere around a size 18 and men’s smalls are cut for someone with broader shoulders and a longer torso than he has. Everything either pulls across the back or hangs off him like he borrowed it from his dad. He hasn’t complained once which somehow makes it worse. I’ve tried JCPenney, Men’s Wearhouse, and a couple of department stores. The alterations route keeps coming up but the base fit is so far off I’m not sure how much ta... I think I just got a job!4d ago(Sorry this is a long one, but there is a TL:DR) Ok so on Thursday I had therapy, but to make myself feel better afterwards I decided to go shopping at the mall and then to get sushi. I wanted to buy sandals so I wore my lucky orange dress! I got to the mall and said hello to a someone who was my teachers at cosmetology school, she works at JCPenney once a week and I realized that she works on Thursday. After that I went to go shopping, I glanced at one shoe store, but I wanted to check another to compare. On the way to the other store I stopped by bath and body works, I randomly asked one lady who was stocking a shelf if she liked working there. Her main complaint was that sometimes you... Ashley Graham x JCPenney post4d agoAshley Graham’s latest spring collection with JCPenney just dropped, and the coverage around it is focusing on **versatility, comfort, and warm-weather pieces**. The collection starts at **0X/14W**, and People notes the broader size-inclusive line goes up to **5X**. FYI: [Ashley Graham Is 'Springing into a New Era' with Her Latest Size-Inclusive Launch (Exclusive)](https://people.com/ashley-graham-spring-jcpenney-collection-exclusive-11943185) Has anyone here actually tried it yet? I’d love reviews on: fit fabric quality whether the styles feel modern or basic in person whether the sizing is consistent whether it feels like a real plus-size collection or just a cele... Boulevard Mall memories got me feeling nostalgic... what was your favorite mall hangout back in the day?6d agoSeeing all the Boulevard Mall posts lately and it's bringing back so many memories from growing up here Used to spend entire Saturdays there with friends just wandering around for hours. We'd camp out in food court pretending we had money but really just getting those free samples from Chinese place and pretzel stand. That was basically our weekend meal plan lol The place was like our second home - you'd see same faces every weekend, watch all the drama unfold between different friend groups. I remember working at one of clothing stores there for about 6 months and seemed like half my high school class had jobs somewhere in that mall at different times Christmas se... Tindahan vs Palengke vs Pamilihan8d agoNag-aaral pa ako. Please go easy on me lol **Tindahan vs Palengke vs Pamilihan vs other (insert suggestion)** Ano ang pagkakaiba ng mga ito? I was born/raised in the U.S. and natutunan ko ng walang "big box store" tulad ng Walmart/Target sa Pilipinas. **What word would I say para these types of U.S. stores?** \- Grocery store like Kroger/Safeway/Jewel/HEB/Whole Foods \- Grocery store like a local neighborhood grocery store \- Farmer's Market (with fresh fruit or homemade food in jars or local trinkets like you would see on a Saturday morning) \- Street vendor with a tiny building like those in NYC \- Mobile street vendor like in NYC, Chicago, or other (like Elotes, ic... Recently laid off – Ecommerce Operations / Inventory Specialist open to work (can start immediately)8d agoHi everyone, I was recently made redundant last February and have been actively looking for opportunities since then. I wanted to reach out here in case anyone might need support or can point me in the right direction. I have several years of experience in ecommerce operations, order management, and inventory planning, mainly supporting retail and multi-store environments. Here are some of the things I’ve handled in my previous roles: • End-to-end order management (PO processing - using SPS Commerce EDI, tracking, fulfillment coordination, ASN for major retailers such as JCPenney, CVS Pharmacy, Shoppers Drug Mart & London Drugs) • Inventory monitoring and stock allocation ...
