Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the H-E-B Latest Community Discussions About H-E-BMillions of eye drops recalled because they may not be sterile - Breitbart13h agoMore than three million bottles of eye drops sold at stores across the United States have been recalled by their manufacturer because they may not be sterile. K.C. Pharmaceuticals earlier this month issued a nationwide U.S. recall of roughly 3.1 million bottles of eight different eye drop products because of a “lack of assurance of sterility,” an FDA notice about the recall said. The drops have been sold at some of the nation’s largest drug and grocery retailers, including CVS, H-E-B, Publix, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Kroger, Good Neighbor and several pharmaceutical supply companies. K.C. Pharmaceuticals bills itself as the largest private label eye care supplier in North America, servic... HEB's new Japanese sandwiches are surprisingly good2d agoI've eaten my fair share of 7-Eleven and Lawson sandwiches and HEB's versions do not lose out. They got really soft crustless bread and fresh ingredients. Maybe not the cheapest but a sensible price in 2026. Definitely one of the better grocery store premades I've had, and I think people like them because there's only 1-2 sandwiches left every time I check. I haven't even been able to find a strawberry sandwich. Who else tried them? https://www.heb.com/product-detail/h-e-b-sushiya-chicken-katsu-nbsp-savory-nbsp-sando/16075513 https://www.heb.com/product-detail/h-e-b-sushiya-san-antonio-savory-sando-2-ct/16075512 recommendation for new credit card2d agoCREDIT PROFILE \* Current credit cards you are the primary account holder of: \* Capital One Venture \* FICO scores with source: credit wise 752 \* Oldest credit card account age: 3 years \* Cards approved in the past 6 months: 0 \* Cards approved in the past 12 months: 0 \* Cards approved in the past 24 months: 0 \* Annual income $: 26,000 CATEGORIES \* Ok with category-specific cards?: Yes \* Ok with rotating category cards?: No \* Estimate average monthly spend in the categories below. \* Dining $: 100 \* Groceries $: 100 costco, 100 h-e-b \* Gas $: 100 costco \* Travel $: 183, flights airbnb hotels uber \* Using abroad?: maybe \* Other categori... H-E-B equivalent in Irvine? (Premade grocery store meals)5d agoI just moved here from San Antonio, TX. There we have a grocery store called H-E-B where they have aisles absolutely filled with fresh meals you can microwave or bake in the oven at home. Is there somewhere in Irvine that offers similar products with a good selection? So far I checked Whole Foods and Sprouts but the options seem limited in comparison and there isn’t much variety. Thanks! 🙏 Been checking my local targets since Sunday7d agoI wasn’t even there for this today, needed some groceries but thought it was worth a peek. Sure enough at the very back of the aisle there they were! Partner Shoppers Not Shown Alternate Items?8d agoJust kinda curious about the following, as it’s occurred the last two online delivery orders (HEB grocery, not via Favor) that we’ve placed. All items are properly marked as either No Substitution, or Substitute with XYZ. Just got a text stating ordered product was out of stock, would we like something else. Responded as seen above, and the generated/shortcut reply (however the partner system works), replied as seen, with the exact item I noted as the substitute item. Are the shoppers just not paying attention lately, or do substitution preferences no longer show for them? If they’re no longer being shown, lord knows how I’m going to remember various preferences the following day... HEB longings as a former Texan9d agoI left Texas over a decade ago (born and raised in San Antonio), and I just came here to say that despite never ever wanting to move back here, I miss HEB sooooooooo much. I have lived in multiple other states at this point and no other grocery store even comes close to how incredible HEB is. It just doesn’t. Every time I visit family in TX, the highlight of my trip is wandering the aisles of HEB and feeling despair knowing I can never have HEB in my life on a regular basis again. I constantly wonder how it is that no other grocery giant can come even remotely close to the HEB experience. I just tell myself that HEB is consolation for Texans who have to deal with their ****** governmen... I possibly encountered a skinwalker...10d agoThis might have been nothing and just my brain trying to scare me, but I think I encountered a skinwalker or at least something weird tonight. Also this just happened like two hours ago. I'm in college and do Favor driving to make some extra side money (Favor is like door-dash but for H-E-B groceries). Tonight, I only had one order and it was to be delivered by the backroads of my city. I drive out there and turn into an older, more rural-styled neighborhood. Larger houses with fences, big yards, no streetlights. It's pretty much pitch-black, and there is no one out and about. I make my delivery, dropping off the groceries on the person's porch before heading back to my car... What happened to the Frisco I know and love?10d agoIncreased Racism in Frisco10d agoBefore I start I just want to say I’m a Highschool student who was born and raised in the United States. I am seeing an increase in hostility in public recently, over the past month of march I’ve been told to “go back to India” at a Costco because apparently buying Indian spices is a triggering offense. Have been flipped off at McDonalds because my cards tap feature just wouldn’t work with the guy telling me “first time using a credit card here?” , have been ignored when asked help for simple things such as helping get groceries off the top shelf at stores like H-E-B. And lastly, the nasty looks especially at gas stations while pumping gas or simply for just existing inside of... Seasonings every single trip?10d agoHas anybody else knows that every time she goes to H-E-B she always buys new seasonings? Is she really going through entire jars of seasoning every single time I know when I buy seasonings they last for at least six months to a year. 3 Toyotas, 2 Jeeps, 1 Volvo12d agoHad some very good Matchbox luck yesterday. After taking the suggestion of a fellow Texan on r/HotWheels, I went to my local H-E-B grocery store to see what they had in die-cast. Walmart and Target stores around me had been a bit disappointing, and since I got back into collecting I hadn't thought about going to grocers. I was not disappointed here! I found one of my favorite castings, the '86 Volvo 240, in a color I don't have, first. Then the 7-slot Wagoneer, and a cool Moving Parts Rubicon! The Moving Parts are a little more pricey at H-E-B, even with a dollar-off sale. However, it was worth it because I hadn't seen this Rubicon model yet. Lastly, there was a t... Curbies, how are y’all feeing?14d agoI use H‑E‑B curbside all the time, and I’m usually the person placing the tiny “I need like… three things, but I refuse to be around other people and go inside” type of order. Convenience plays a role, sure, but honestly I also feel weirdly guilty. I work for H‑E‑B too, just not in the store, so I know enough about the operation to understand that curbside is basically a sport. Every time I see a curbie pushing a cart that looks like someone ordered half the store plus a small appliance, I feel like I should salute them. It looks exhausting. Y’all are out there doing CrossFit with grocery carts while the rest of us are sitting in our cars listening to podcasts. So here’... Free chips from curbside 🤡15d agoAt first I thought someone left their snack in my groceries. Then I realized the chips were stapled to the paper. Thanks, I guess? Yum! Ole Mexican Foods 8" Xtreme Wellness Tortilla Wraps (2-day delivery)16d agoPSA: These new Ole Mexican Foods 8" Xtreme Wellness Tortillas are delicious! It's the only tortilla I've seen that's 1 - lower in carbs and 2 - uses avocado oil instead of a lower quality oil. Other low carb tortillas when rolled are more likely to separate into pieces. Ole tortillas are more... stretchy. **Prep**: I add olive oil to 1 side of the tortilla (cos I'm trying to have 2 tablespoons of olive oil / day). On other side: thinly sliced gouda, microwave on 10% for 20 seconds to barely soften the slice of cheese, add chicken salad or tuna salad. Roll UP! $8.79 for 16 tortillas. About same price as H-E-B grocery stores in Texas. [https://www.costc... “Why I order ice cream online”16d agoNot that I need to justify to anyone, but I order premium ice cream online because even our really nice grocery stores have a pathetic selection of the ice cream I really want to eat. Drove out little farther and completely out of the way to go to very nice new large H-E-B, hoping that their selection will be better, but yeah. Nope. Notice how there’s only a few flavors of each brand. Last pick is what I ended up with❤️ Product by product slowly no reason for me to shop at H-E-B.17d agoI started really loving H-E-B when I moved to Texas and hating Walmart because I live by Ghetto Walmart so it’s easy to ****. But so many things are giving me a reason to not even walk in H-E-B anymore. And last year they changed the recipe of their H-E-B zero cola to the point where it just taste like battery acid, and I went back to the brand name, even though I have to drink much less now, which isn’t bad for me at all. And the last couple months, they’ve stopped doing the tortilla chips on site and the crappy ones that they sell in the same packaging. Now that are sitting there any bagged chip is better than how gross those chips are. They’ve quit doing biscuits for some reason... Houston entrepreneur trying to place a custom phone case machine inside a grocery store - Any advice?20d agoHi everyone, I’m a small local business owner here in Houston and I’m hoping someone in this community might be able to point me in the right direction. Over the past few months I’ve been trying to get in contact with people about placing a small vending-style machine inside a grocery store. The machine prints custom phone cases on demand for customers. I’ve reached out to several locations (Kroger, H-E-B, Food Town, Randalls, Walmart), but every store tells me to contact corporate, and when I contact corporate I usually end up leaving voicemails or emails that never get answered. Right now my machine is operating at *Trader’s Village Houston (Booth 778)* and people really enj... Can't get a 5% raise but the CEO is the only San Antonian to make the Forbes 40021d agoFrom the current H-E-B Chairman Charles Butt once again ranks as San Antonio's wealthiest resident and the only one to break the Top 400 on Forbes' annual World's Billionaire's List. The head of the Alamo City-based grocery empire rang up a net worth of $11.1 billion this year, placing him at No. 289 on the list. Even though Butt's is up considerably from the $10.8 billion he posted last year, his position on the list slipped 59 points due an influx of new names and others whose fortunes rose more rapidly. Yes, despite the well-deserved tidal wave of resentment against the billionaire class, the club just keeps getting bigger, Forbes' numbers show. The total o... 🛡︠Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
