FedEx delivered my $130 purchase to the wrong house. Their delivery “confirmation” photo clearly shows my package on a front porch that is not mine. I opened a lost package case with FedEx. After only a single email from them about it, they closed my case, saying essentially“We looked for it and couldn’t find it” and said I should reach out to the shipper. Is there any other support contact to reach out to about this? FedEx clearly screwed up and is refusing to address it.

Is there anything that can be done from a legal perspective? Would small claims even be relevant or possible in this situation?

I have a delivery scheduled for Jan 1st but I’m going on a road trip so won’t be home. Does fedex actually deliver on new years or will they delay until the next day? I did check their website and it says they’re closed.

Hello! I ordered a Snugg sofa on Black Friday. I pushed the order release date out to December 30, as that’s what the store recommended since I won’t be moving into my new apartment until Friday, January 2nd. The order got released today and now says it will be delivered tomorrow, December 31st, to an apartment I don’t live in yet. FedEx has given me no delivery management options and I can’t get to a real person when I call. All I could get from the automated call was that the shipper was the only one who could make an edit. I am at my wits end. I ordered dog food from chewy and at this point I have had to purchase more at the store I ordered 11 days ago after just 2 days it was at my local hub and loaded on a truck for delivery. No attempt was made and no one contacted me. That happened on the 22nd and the 23rd and the 24th and then again today I still don’t have my package and it’s been 30 minutes away for over a week. And nobody can tell me why they won’t just leave it at my house.

a week ago, my package got held up at customs because my form was missing the importers ID (My SSN) and it said that I needed to send it in, but didn’t give me a place to send it. Later, the delivery tracking updated to say it left Memphis, but apparently it was lying and it was still in customs. I called the help line twice, and bo times they asked for my email, I gave it to them, and they said they would send me a copy of the paperwork so I could put the info in, and then I never received any emails from them. Hi everyone. I recently shipped a parcel from the US to UK via International Priority. Tracking showed “International shipment release – Import” at Stansted on 12/26, then no updates for 4 days and it missed the delivery estimate. On 12/30, two new entries appeared at the same location (Stansted) at the exact same time: “On the way” and “International shipment release – Import” again. I’m trying to understand what this actually means. Is this a sign the package is actually moving again or is it just automatically generated but doesn’t reflect actual movement? I recently placed an online order with FedEx 2 day shipping, the order was made Saturday the 27th and the company I ordered from took a whole day to process (which is ****). They didn't send the package out until today, however since I ordered 2 Day shipping should the package get here by Friday? I have yet another package that was supposed to be delivered today that now will just sit at the local FedEx facility (literally here in town) for at least one more day and not move for at least one day (sometimes two) before actually being delivered late past the delivery date. I've reported it a number of times and was told they would look into why the deliveries are consistently late, but nothing has changed.
