TL:DR: No 30 page long onboarding, no review prompt in onboarding, just a simple money app.  I was trying to find ways to make my finance app unique, and what I've tried and tested, people liked two things:  1. Hey I’m a senior right now trying to lose fat but also get strong and tone up for when I attend university in the fall. Currently , I work at Walmart so I use the $26 fitness pass they offer and have currently been going to crunch fitness. I want to start a 5 day but I’m going into engineering and spend a significant amount of time in calculus studies. So I was wondering can someone suggest or epics me with a great 4 days, I’m thinking of an Upper Lower 4 day. Champaign Illinois location. This has been my worst experience with a gym ever. I sign up on Feb 2. Charged 45$ for first month and start up fees. Charged $12 a month instead of the advertised $10 but **** my life I guess. I spend 2 months hating the gym. When you walk in your nose physically wrinkles. The smell of stale body odor is everywhere. There is also a persistent smell of cannabis and tobacco in certain areas. The most egregious thing that occurred (which was daily) was a group of gym goers who used the boxing bag. They didn’t wear shoes. They didn’t wear socks. They walked barefoot. Inside. After having my first child, I searched for a gym in Boulder that provided childcare. Checking out Crunch Fitness, they told me childcare is provided daily from 8 AM to 1 PM and on weekdays also 4 PM to 8 PM, if you purchased the premium membership package.  Great! This seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to be able to continue my workout routine after having kids. Fitness is an incredibly important part of my life. However, after signing on for this membership package, I’ve found the reality of the childcare situation is that more than 50% of the time, no one is staffing the kids club and I’m left scrambling for childcare or have to abandon my workout completely. This place is the worst. None of the paper towel dispensers have paper towels in them. People have placed rolls of toilet paper there to use. In the men’s room, two of the three urinals have been shut down as they’re not working. This place….do better.

Anyone have inside scoop on when Crunch is taking over Golds gym? Know if it will have a sauna? Pool??

I’m so annoyed. I went up to crunch fitness last month to cancel my membership. They told me to write out my name and a manager will approve it come this month. MondayI’m charged the $59 annual fee my $26 monthly fee so I called them and they said a manager will reach back out. No one ever called me so today. I finally went back up there and they told me I would have to pay another $26 for the next 30 days to cancel my membership??? That’s $120 in the last 3 days when it was supposed to be canceled last month. I feel like this policy is so ****** and they’re just money hungry. I wouldn’t recommend

Location: Metro Boston area. Today I received a notice for debt collection for an unpaid gym membership to crunch fitness. I had recently noticed that crunch fitness was charging my bank account for a membership I was no longer a part of. I had canceled my membership back in September of 2024 and received a notice from the crunch saying that my membership was canceled and I had a balance due of $0. Due to my own oversight, I failed to see that crunch had been charging me since my cancellation date. I’ve accepted I probably won’t find this golden egg (contains a free 1 year membership) but curious on other people’s thoughts of where this golden egg could be. The clues they posted on their social media were that it is north of the gym’s location. It’s somewhere dry. Somewhere solid, strong, built to last. The most recent clue in their caption said “Loyal followers of this hunt are getting closer 🐾 “ Before the paw print clue I was thinking a park with tires on the playground. But with the animal aspect I considered a pet store with strong toys like Kong. It would camouflage great with the rest of the toys lol.

Guys, I need to vent. I was lead to believe that my old gym membership from >!Crunch Fitness!< was deactivated and cancelled because I couldn't make payments on it, but it wasn't. They built up charges under my account, which shouldn't have been open in the first place. I found out b/c I'd gotten a text from them saying that I needed to address my billing. This afternoon, they informed me that I owe $200. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?! I wanna crawl in a hole and die 😭

I'm a 39F who's looking to (finally) drop the 30 pounds I gained during the pandemic. I also want to get back into strength training and building muscle.
