Virginia Beach now has Rivacold equipment thanks to new Grocery Outlet opening

2h ago

My trip to the new grocery outlet in Virginia beach was nice. I even stumbled across new Rivacold equipment in the store's dairy walk in cooler. From my research, these are BEST CM R290 monoblocks. I hope Virginia Beach gets a full-blown Rivacold refrigeration system in one of their numerous grocery stores.

the AI agent side hustle: building custom GPTs and selling them for good money each

2h ago

this is new and the market is wide open. companies and solo business owners want custom AI assistants but don't know how to build them. i build custom GPTs, claude projects, and simple chatbots for specific use cases. **examples of what i've sold:** - custom GPT for a real estate agent that generates listing descriptions ($150) - claude project for a lawyer that summarizes case documents ($200) - custom GPT for a fitness coach that builds meal plans ($75) - chatbot for a shopify store that handles FAQs ($200 + $50/mo maintenance) **monthly revenue:** about $800-1,200 depending on the month **time per project:** most take 2-4 hours including client back-and-forth **where i find...

Real or fake coach?

2h ago

Hi so I recently got this coach tote bag from the thrift store and although it wasn’t TOO pricey ($29.99) I think it is a bit much especially if it’s fake which I can’t tell. Can you guys help me figure out if it is real or not?

Took me 3 weeks to ship my first app. Here’s the honest version of what happened.

3h ago

Not going to pretend this was smooth. I spent the first two weeks completely lost. Watching tutorials. Reading docs. Opening Xcode once, closing it immediately, and going back to YouTube. Classic "learning without building" trap. The shift happened when I just decided to stop learning and start breaking things. I had one idea. One specific problem I kept running into as a freelancer — clients giving vague briefs that led to scope creep every single time. So I tried to build something that fixed it. Week 1 — ugly. Broken. Barely functional. Week 2 — less broken. One thing worked. Week 3 — submitted to App Store. Got approved in 3 days. Client Brief Gener...

Old oval bathroom sink drains fine but overflow spout will not drain

3h ago

The sink is old. The outlet for overflow water is blocked some way with very little water going that high. I have no specialized tools. I felt around in the top hole, used a wire coat hanger and got down the length of the hanger bent straight. At the bottom hole (under regular drain plug) I don't know what's going on at all since the wire can be reamed back and forth. Still no drainage even a bit. Please don't suggest some plastic doo-dad from the hardware store. Whatever the build up is, it's baked in hard. Sorry if I sounded short- tempered about this. I only need to hear from plumbers or those who have experienced this problem.

Ontario, Canada – Fired after performance plan with almost no coaching. Do I have any case?

3h ago

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on whether I might have any kind of case (wrongful termination or otherwise) based on how my employer handled my situation. Here’s the timeline: • I started working on November 27, 2025 in a sales role (third-party vendor working inside a retail store) • My direct manager went on leave from January 21 to March 18, 2026 • During that time, a senior manager took over but had very limited interaction with me • I was placed on a 60-day action/performance plan starting February 9, 2026 • During the entire 60-day period, I only had one 1-on-1 meeting (on February 19) • I received little to no consistent coaching, feedback, or s...

What even is Daddy Andy Jassy saying ?

When I graduated from college, I wanted to be a sportscaster. After sending my resume reel to many small markets around the U.S., and only getting two nibbles, I settled on doing sports production at a major network. To make extra money, I also coached my former high school soccer team, and worked at a retail golf store. Six months later, a college classmate convinced me to interview at the consumer products company where he worked, and I spent three years as a Product Manager there. I left that job to try some of my own businesses. After deciding these businesses weren't my calling, I tried short stints in investment banking, before going back to graduate school and ending up at Amazon...

“You're Not High Enough On..." 2026 Draft Prospects Article

4h ago

Every year I study up on Skill Position Players in anticipation of the draft and Dynasty football. I was tired of my work being private on my Google Drive so I created a website to make it visible and permanent to help anyone that wanted some extra resources. Last year, pre-draft, [I did the same article ](https://www.skillpositionscouting.com/articles/youre-not-high-enough-2025)and highlighted: RJ Harvey, Bhayshul Tuten, Jaylin Noel, Ja'Corey Brooks, Jaxson Dart I'll post the article here, as I don't do ads or revenue on my site, but you can head there for better formatting and some sick GIFs. Costway portable AC stopped working and giving E5 error

4h ago

Hey everyone! I have a Costway portable AC unit that has been giving me issues. It used to work flawlessly before, but I stored it away in my closet for the winter months. Now that it's warming back up, I connected it all together only to find that it is no longer blowing cold air. I am not at all familiar with HVAC so I apologize if my terms are incorrect. It seems like the compressor tries to kick on and will run for roughly 10 seconds before kicking back off and showing an E5 error on the screen. I've never had this issue before and it's driving me crazy. I posted a photo of the specs that are on the sticker on the side of the machine as well as the way I have the vent co...

Scoreboard Mode - Feature Request

5h ago

Wanted to make a feature suggestion and flesh out ideas with this sub. It may be something that not a lot of people need or have thought about, but it’s something that would be very beneficial to the baseball programs I’m involved with.  I’m a high school PE teacher, baseball coach, and a dad to 2 kids in Little League baseball - I run the GameChanger for all of these programs, so I consider myself a heavy user of the software.  The vast majority of ballparks that I coach at do not have functioning scoreboards, from tee-ball up until you’re playing Varsity high school baseball. This may not be the case other places, but here in Arizona even our Freshmen & JV high school g...

Flower/nursery farm store or outlet?

5h ago

I'm in Santa Cruz and notice that most of the bedding plants (mostly annuals) at Home Depot are grown in Morgan Hill. Is there any kind of farm store or outlet there, where I can buy lots more without the Home Depot markup? Thanks!

EgoLift — AI strength coach for lifters who actually track their training

5h ago

Tired of apps that congratulate you for showing up. Built something different. EgoLift logs your sessions, tracks your PRs, and has an AI coach that tells you what's actually holding you back — not what you want to hear. Miss your deload? It notices. Plateau for 3 sessions? It calls it out. Session logging and automatic PR tracking. AI coach that analyzes your progression and doesn't sugarcoat it. RPE, 1RM estimates, volume tracking — no hand-holding. Built for intermediate/advanced lifters training 3-5x/week who already know what a deload is and want real data, not motivation quotes. Closed beta on Android. Sign up at [getegolift.com](http://getegolift.com) to get access ...

Outlet haul from today.

5h ago

I went in on the hunt for a small bag as I have way too many totes and slouch bags that I end up filling with too much stuff. I want something only big enough for my phone, wallet and inhaler for days where I don't want a large bag. EVERY time I go into a coach store I think I'm going to walk out with a tabby. I never do lmao. I went with this suede purple/pink Ashton and fell in love with this quilted suede elodie bag. both were 60% off so in total for both it was about $240 USD and if that isn't a freaking steal idk what is. the Ashton bag is actually so cute and gives me very 2000s vibe and the elodie bag is not what I need or went shopping for but it's just so soft an...

Seeking Larger Deep Fryer Recommendation for annual family gathering

5h ago

So my extended family has this annual tradition where we all get together to eat homemade borscht, potato pancakes, and hamburgers. It’s been going on for close to 75 years and has obviously spanned multiple generations. Apparently it started when my great grandparents came to the US in 1904 (just learned that from my aunt). Up until about 5 years ago, the process for making potato pancakes was… chaos. My grandparents, great aunts/uncles, then my parents’ generation, and now ours would all rotate through making mashed potatoes, frying onions, and then cooking pancakes in these old electric frying pans using absurd amounts of oil. It took hours. You needed shifts. Food came out in wav...

Is the casting of the outlet on this toilet acceptable?

5h ago

The casting seems very rough around the outlet with a large lip. Kinda makes me think it won't flush well? I could grind it back I guess. Or just return it for the second time as the first one had a cracked tank... It's a Duravit No 1 Pro bought at the orange big box store.
