How do you feel about people who walk around and hangout throughout the store?

2h ago

Even though I shop at various stores, I've noticed that younger people, especially high schoolers and college students, enjoy hanging out at Target, malls, outlets, etc. since I always notice groups of them walking around & hanging out (depending on the store) However, I'm not sure how the employees feel about it, since I tend to browse and walk around as well (in between my shopping routine) but from what I've been told, as long as you don't cause any issues and keep to yourself, then you'll be fine (even though some employees may keep an eye on certain people/groups)

App para mejorar la pronunciación en inglés

2h ago

Looking for testers with Android TV

I created an app that installs on your TV, sets up web based TV remote and let's you control your TV from basically any device with a browser! You can control your TV from Samsung smart fridge, raspberry pi, coffee machine, old-*** amazon fire tablet etc, as long as it has a browser installed. It all runs on your local network, you could use it without internet access. Requires ADB over network to be enabled on your TV in Developer Options (one-time setup). It does not collect any user data, it doesn't have any ads or monetization. I just use it as a creative outlet and something fun to develop after work. Use cases I foresee: * Hotels managing a bunch of TVs from one place ...

I got tired of paying monthly for apps that track everything I do — so I built my own mindset coach (no subscription, ...

2h ago

A few months ago I realized I was spending $15/month on a "wellness app" that required an account, sent my data to their servers, and still showed me ads. So I built exactly what I wanted : an app that sends me coaching notifications throughout my day — on the topics I actually care about (financial mindset, personal growth, relationships) — with zero internet, zero account, zero data collected. It works 100% offline. Everything stays on your phone. Uninstalling it permanently deletes everything. No analytics. No trackers. Nothing. You just pick your focus areas, set how often you want to receive insights (every 15 min to every 4 hours), and that's it. Your lock screen ...

How do I open my filter?

2h ago

First time fish owner! I started cycling my tank over a month ago, and after checking my parameters with my local store, I finally got a fish yesterday. I've been doing weekly 35% water changes, but when it came to cleaning the sponges in my filter... no dice. I can't open it for the life of me. I (dumbly) assumed it meant the filter didn't need that type of maintenance, but I've been doing some research, and after checking the manual, it has sponges... so I should be able to clean it! But... I can't freaking open it! I've managed to get the outlet off, but not the "cover", where the sponges are. When I first put it back in the tank after being una...

Data Lab - deep performance analytics for cycling (free)

[Data Lab demo](https://reddit.com/link/1sg0tx0/video/9dt0isvlb0ug1/player) Generate reports in seconds (from fit files, CSV, or activities stored in the tool) and get 17 in-depth analysis modules back. Everything runs in your browser, nothing leaves your device (unless you save it or export the PDF). Analyze your ride history, upload FIT files from Garmin or Wahoo, or import a CSV from Strava, TrainingPeaks, or Intervals.icu. Here's what you get: * Power Profile ranked against other cyclists (adjusted for age and sex) * Rider Phenotype classification telling you if you're a sprinter, time trialist, climber, or something in between * Energy system breakdown showing how yo...

Six months ago I had no idea why I was losing trades. Now I have the data. Here's what it actually showed me.

3h ago

Before I started logging properly: I had a rough sense that I traded worse on Fridays and that I overtrade after a big win. Nothing I could actually act on. After 6 months of structured journaling with emotional state, confluences, and plan adherence tracked per trade: \- My 'euphoric' trades have the worst RR of any emotional state. Not even close. \- Two confluences I thought were strong have negative expectancy in my own data. \- My plan adherence rate on Tuesday/Wednesday is 84%. Friday it's 51%. None of this came from a coach or a course. It came from my own trade data, properly structured. I built the app that generated these insights - it's called T...

Best winners in town

3h ago

I need to re-vamp my semi-casual / casual work wardrobe (pants, blouses, jackets, jeans sweaters etc) Which Winners has the best collection? I used to like eating centre location since I live in DT but lately there are few work clothes there and the sizes issue is real - a CK blouse tagged as XS was way too big for me (M) Honestly, not concerned about the size issue much but in general the outlet should have variety, specially for pants Recommendations for other stores are welcome! I’m okay not going to winners as long as I get good variety

Mail Day Outlet Pickups

3h ago

Recent pickups from the amazing 50% sale at the outlets Picked up the shoes $65 each. I didn't get the shoes all at once. I went back a few times because the deals were that good. They are the B grade "X" version but I cannot find any blemishes or anything wrong. Except the Calciums had different size laces, hence the swap to white laces The clothes I had to order at the store because they didn't have my sizes and everything was delivered today Overall I'm very happy with these pickups considering how cheap everything was priced

Good buy? Seagate IronWolf Pro 16 TB for $369.99

4h ago

I picked up a new 16TB Seagate IronWolf Pro from Microcenter for $369.99 to use for my jellyfin media storage and also to back up my photos and for a general network drive. Is this a good idea? I have a month to return it if I don't want it but I can't find prices like this on newegg or anywhere I look online, and this was a local pickup which I prefer over shipping. I don't have a NAS yet so I'm installing this internally but would like to get a NAS for RAID down the road. My server is an HP ProDesk G4 SFF with a 1TB SSD and I have a 500GB SSD that is full of videos now. My immich photos are on the 1TB SSD and some others are saved on a 1.5TB external HDD that will cont...

Hermes Open Source AI Agent Quietly Automates More Than You Think

4h ago

Hermes open source AI agent is one of the few tools that actually turns AI from something you chat with into something that works for you continuously in the background. Most people still reopen chat tools daily and repeat the same instructions manually even though builders experimenting with persistent workflow systems inside the [AI Profit Boardroom](https://www.skool.com/ai-profit-lab-7462/about) are already running structured automation through the Hermes open source AI agent. Once that transition happens the Hermes open source AI agent stops feeling like software and starts feeling like infrastructure supporting your workflow. "Business Can't Take It." Clothing Production in Russia Has Collapsed at a Record Rate Since 2020

4h ago

Russian clothing manufacturers, who the authorities had counted on to replace imports and Western brands that had left the country, have plunged into the worst crisis since the pandemic. According to Rosstat, clothing production in the country plummeted by 17.2% in January-February 2026—a record since April 2020, when factories and plants were shut down due to the COVID-19 lockdown. In 2023-2024, clothing production jumped by 29%. Last year, the industry began to decline (by 2.2%), which has accelerated this year to a full-blown collapse. In some regions, the decline has reached double-digits: 44% in the Kemerovo Region, 40.1% in the Chelyabinsk Region, and 45% in St. Petersburg. ...

I built an iPhone food tracker because macro logging got way too annoying

4h ago

I lift, and I’ve tracked calories/macros for years. Over time I got more and more frustrated with the actual logging part. Search for the food. Adjust the serving size. Hope you picked the right database entry. Repeat that multiple times a day. A lot of apps also started feeling bloated or weirdly expensive for something I use as a basic daily tool. So over the last few months, I built my own iPhone app. The idea is simple: make food logging fast enough that you’ll actually keep doing it. You can log a meal with a photo, a short text, or one spoken sentence, and the app estimates calories and macros right away. One thing I really cared about was not getting stuck with a bad AI guess....
