I found this to be very strange, I called up my local Birkenstock outlet here in the Phoenix. This is not a store that sells many brands like famous footwear, this is the actual Birkenstock branded outlet in the Phoenix Arizona area and they did not have natural leather uppers with the regular foot bed. I’m a 34 year old male wanting a part-time job, and I’m considering applying to Dicks. I currently work Monday through Friday 4:00pm-12:30am for a finance company and it’s remote. So I’m kinda annoyed and wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this. There’s this asset protection guy at my store who tried telling people I was on my phone while working… but I was literally on my 15 break. Then another time, someone told my coach that I’ve been on my phone all day and not working. I don’t know 100% if it was him, but I’m pretty sure it was. The thing is, my coach straight up said that wasn’t true and that she’s seen me working, and my team lead backed me up too. My coach just told me to be lowkey with my phone, even on breaks, which I get… but it still feels weird that someone is kinda trying to paint me like I’m not doing my job when I am. Ha...

The potato I cooked off in the leftover boiling water for my French press, and then let dry for a minute or two before pan frying with oil. Lovely browning and fluffy not-too-dry inside, like perfect mini French fries. I recommend it. Slight cheese stickage, but cleaning out while still warm with soap and a green scrubby to care of it quick. New-to-me $1 goodwill outlet store tramontina.

I thought I found two ticks downstairs, but I am fairly certain they’re bed bugs. No evidence of fecal matter or casings yet. I’m cleaning out clutter stored under the bed tonight, and got traps. If something turns up, we will get professional help. We own a small 2-story house with hardwood floors. I have two questions: 1-What am I looking for in crevices and outlets? Casings? Actual bugs? 2-What is the most efficient and effective abatement that I should look for? We do have one elderly cat, but no children in the home.
