My husband cannot resist a deal, and just brought home a giant bag of frozen mussels from one of those grocery outlet stores that sells heavily discounted eclectic items. I have no illusions that they'll be amazing, but they seem edible and I'd like to use them. Anyone have suggestions for ways to eat them that mellow out the taste or disguise it somewhat? All the mussel recipes I know are simple to allow the fresh seafood to shine, but this ain't fresh. Thanks all.

I am new to reading the light novels for COTE and I'm on year 1 vol. 3 with volumes 4, 4.5, and 5 on the way. I went to order volumes 7 and 6 but they're out of print and I can't seem to find them anywhere online. Not often where we live do we get a severe weather advisory like we’ve recently got. They’re calling for not just snow but several inches of ice. As salary, we are expected to be in. We were told a store can run with just 2 people. We were offered a hotel across the street but living in town, kids and animals at home, I don’t see a need. I plan to be in if at all possible but if this ice happens like they’re saying, what happens then? If I get up, get in my car and literally cannot make it, what happens? Do I lose my job? I was devastated to see Discount Fabrics Unlimited shut their doors. They were my go-to for everything upholstery, drapery, outdoors, etc. I had been shopping there for almost 25 years. Now that they are gone, I have no idea where to find that kind of selection and price. Does anyone have any recommendations for my new favorite fabric store? Mill Outlet is ok but it looks like they send their "bargain fabric" to their Raleigh location. :(
