Potential New Hollywood, California Aldi Location

1h ago

In case anyone from Aldi corporate reads this sub Reddit--there currently is a large recently vacated Rite Aid drug store location at the prime corner of Hollywood Blvd. & Vermont Ave., Los Angeles 90027 with parking. There are Trader Joe's 1 mile and 2 miles away from here and a new Grocery Outlet store just opened one mile away, but the closest Aldi atores are over 5 miles away. I think this location has the potential to do more gross revenue than the nearby Burbank store.

Ralph Lauren Mini Polo ID Advice

1h ago

Unfortunately, I fell in love with a bag this weekend. Picture attached for reference. I've loved the mini polo ID bags from what I have seen on TikTok, but I saw this in the store and fell in love. My favorite color is yellow and this is the perfect shade. Also love Italian leather bags. Problem is- I don't have $500 to spend. I've never spent that much on a bag (I'm usually more of a Kate Spade/Coach girl but want to invest in things I will keep for a long time). I've been trying to find this secondhand everywhere, but I cannot find it. I'm worried that if I don't buy it now, I will never get my chance to buy it. Does anyone have any advice as to wh...

Anyone else completely fed up with those "massive sales" that turn out to be barely a discount, or worse, just the regular price rebranded? I swear, half the "deals" emails I get are just marketing fluff designed to make you think you're getting a steal when you're really not. It's genuinely frustrating to feel like you need a detective agency just to buy something without getting ripped off. Lately, I've been putting in some consistent effort to actually *find* genuine value, digging past the front-page marketing, and it's been pretty eye-opening. It takes a little extra time, but the payoff is real. Here are a couple of recent wins that took s...

\*\*Stop Guessing Your Breakers! This Tool Finds Them Instantly (Real Test)\*\* Product used in this video - [https://amzn.to/4m81ebi](https://amzn.to/4m81ebi) Stop wasting time flipping breakers blindly—this tool claims to find them instantly. In this video, I test the \*\*Extech CB10 circuit breaker finder\*\* in a real home environment to see if it delivers on its promise. This isn’t a lab test—this is a \*\*true homeowner scenario\*\* where accuracy matters. Whether ...

Finland, <600€, chair for someone with knee and ankle issues, 164cm/5¨4 with wide shoulders and hips. I am at ...

2h ago

Hi there! I've been looking at chairs for about 2 years now, but I am honestly so oversaturated with information that I need some outside pointers. I am around 164cm/5'4 tall with a midsize to smaller plus size frame. I'd be so grateful if anyone has any tips or recs to send my way My main use cases are gaming and university work, so I sit down quite a bit throughout the day. This chair needs to last and needs to be comfy even after long hours. What complicates the search further is that I have wider hips and shoulders, so I often feel like I don't quite "fit" in chairs because the armrest or backrest might dig into me oddly (moreso the armrests or those awful...

Updated my app screenshots after Reddit feedback . Is the value clearer now?

3h ago

I’m an indie developer working on **Clarity Coach**, a communication practice app. I previously shared it on Reddit and got really helpful feedback, especially around clarity, positioning, and how the screenshots were coming across. Based on that, I made updates both inside the app and across the store screenshots. Now I’m trying to understand one thing: **If you saw these screenshots without context, would you understand what the app does?** It’s meant to help people: * say things more clearly * organize their thoughts * communicate better in real-life situations I’d love honest feedback on whether that actually comes through now. Links in case anyone wants to check the full ...

Would love feedback on these updated app screenshots from other mobile devs

3h ago

I’m an indie mobile developer, and I recently reworked both my app and its store screenshots after getting feedback from Reddit. The app is **Clarity Coach** . it helps people practice clearer communication, organize their thoughts, and respond better in everyday conversation scenarios. One thing I’m still trying to improve is screenshot clarity. From these screenshots alone: * Is it obvious what the app is for? * Does the value proposition come across clearly? * Is there anything that still feels confusing, too vague, or too generic? I’ve already made a lot of changes based on earlier feedback, so I’d really appreciate another round of honest opinions. Store links in ...

Ethics?

3h ago

So my coach as shes been on a huge intimidation kick and made an associate cry for not understanding something. I've talked to other coworkers and over 6 of us have reported her to the store manager for how she treats staff. since the store management hasnt done anything to discourage these behaviors i decided to write to ethics. My question is what is a likely outcome when reaching out to ethics and has anyone had a good experience with them in the past?

Get ready to face more of these Thar folks in the coming months.

4h ago

I'll just say it out loud for those who don't know. But when we talk about the antics of Mahindra Thar owners, we are not LITERALLY talking about the owners of cars like Thar. It's just like any other car. In fact, as a standalone object, Thar is a pretty sick 4 wheeler. Rather, we are referring to certain communities in North India (like the ones mentioned in the article) who have earned crores and crores of money by selling their plots for development projects around NCR. Money has helped these folks earn a fancy lifestyle, but they never earned class, respect, and civic sense, and now they cause chaos & mayhem wherever they go, thinking they're above the law, ...

I got tired of paying for personal coaches so I built my own for footballers ⚽

So I built [BallCoach](https://app.ballcoachai.com/en) — an app that creates training plans based on the upcoming match. Instead of asking “what should I train today?”, it starts from: “When is your next game?” Then it adapts everything around that. Some things I’ve learned while building this: * The moment us...

Trip Report & Budget: 3 Days in Singapore

6h ago

### Overview Following up on my previous posts, here is the Singapore leg of my trip. I flew in from Taipei and spent three days here before taking my flight back to India. I have visited Singapore before, so I kept the itinerary very relaxed this time with fewer activities. --- ### Itinerary * **Day 1:** Arrived at Changi Airport early in the morning around 6 AM. Rested at the Jewel Changi Lounge for a while before heading to the hotel. I managed to get an early check-in and slept until the afternoon. Later, I walked around Clarke Quay to explore the area. I headed over to Marina Bay Sands, watched the sound and light show, and went up to the observation deck. Walked through the stores ...

I built this for myself. [https://apps.apple.com/app/id6759910137](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6759910137) I moved from powerlifting to road cycling and quickly learned that every extra kilo costs you on climbs. 350W FTP means nothing when lighter riders float past you uphill. Last year I went keto with just an AI chat — dropped 10 kg in 8 weeks, no FTP loss. But tracking meant writing into the chat daily what I ate, checking Apple Watch calories, calculating remaining macros for dinner. Every single day. I never used or even installed a food tracking app before. So I built one from scratch — designed around how I actually wanted it to work. What started as a personal tool eventually...

Any Singaporeans here? When do brands like Prada, Valentino & Ferragamo usually go on sale in Singapore?

7h ago

I’ve been eyeing pieces from brands like Prada, Valentino & Ferragamo for a while now, but I’m wondering when they usually go on sale here in Singapore Do these brands actually have sales in Singapore stores, or is it more through certain platforms, end-of-season discounts, outlet events, or private sales? If anyone has tips on when to catch the best deals locally would love to know!

X T30 iii + Viltrox 23mm/1.4 or TTARTISIAN'S 23mm/1.4?

7h ago

Hey folks, I'm planning to buy the said combo as my first camera setup, but so far I'm unable to find the Viltrox 23mm/1.4 lens, seems like not available in India (as of today) been looking for it since the last week. If anybody knows any reliable outlet/store where I can find this lens, please tell, it would be really helpful. Also, I'm thinking to go with TTArtisian's 23mm/1.4 incase the Viltrox becomes hard to get. Please suggest should I wait Viltrox to become available or go with TTArtisian's?
