The hidden gem move here is that they’re part of the Playa Los Arcos group, so you get full access to their sister hotel half a block away: beach access, bigger pools, lounge chairs, the works. Heyyy, I just wanted to know if any students have been to the La Playa Mexican restaurant. I was planning to head there for a lil early birthday lunch and was wondering how it’s like—I’m talking about the atmosphere, seating, room temperature (yes, that lol. I‘m not a fan of cold places and usually carry a jacket; I just want to know if I have to take a jacket along) etc. I’m only asking cuz I‘m going alone😭😭😭 (I don’t have anyone/friends to step out with🥴) and I’m a super anxious person so any info or experience would be nice to know. This has happened 3 times in the past week! Tonight I had a banana & a spoonful of peanut butter for dinner while he had a complete meal with an appetizer from a Mexican restaurant.

Its not a very popular policy change, especially when our old franchise had a $14 limit and only restricted limited time meals.

Theres tons of restaurants in my area, I know they use grubhub because I used to get the offers. Now I don't get Chinese or Mexican restaurants other than taco bell and Chipotle. I don't get shop and pay orders unless they have digital wallet payment option. Big issue

Today I had the opportunity to visit the pyramids of the sun and moon near Mexico City. These pyramids are 2100 years old and predate the Mayans. Near the pyramids is a restaurant called La Gruta, which is inside of an ancient cave. After dining, patrons are giving a candle to place on the cave wall as a symbol of good fortune. I made very clear to anyone willing to listen that my candle is dedicated to the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets will now be propelled by ancient Mexican civilization and are now unbeatable. I’m still a newbie, but I’m steadily improving thanks to this community and I wanted to share some with you all! So far my favorite is Mexican Lace Agate, Desert Jasper, or Mozambique Agate. That initial rinse after a tumble - you never know what’s going to turn up. I mean you know what your ordered, but still! I own a Mexican seafood restaurant in Albuquerque, NM. Lately my seafood costs (especially shrimp and other items) have been going up and down a lot. For those of you running seafood-heavy menus: Do you keep fixed prices and just adjust every few months, or do you use “market price” on certain dishes? If you use market price: Do customers push back on it? Do you only use it for high-end items (like whole fish, lobster, etc.)? How do you present it on the menu without hurting sales? I’m trying to stay profitable without constantly reprinting menus or scaring customers away. Appreciate any real-world advice.
