Had two fish die within a few weeks of one another. A molly and another breed I unfortunately can't recall the name of right now. Parameters are ammonia: 0, Nitrites: 0, nitrates: 5ppm, PH: 7.2 Its a fairly large tank, 120ish Litres or 30ish gallons. Not very full, got like 7 small fish (community tank) who are usually pretty chill. Im just wondering if its normal to lose a couple fish every now and again. I know fish can be fragile, and when you pick them up from the fish store, they could have any number of problems.

Got some amber film from the art supply store and covered an LED flood lamp with it. Seems to be invisible to them. So I had a ****** idea. The pcv diaphragm ruptured on this 2011 BMW 328i xdrive that I bought for $1k from a family member. I drove it for a week or so but ended up parking it bc the squalling was too much for me and the engine was running like ****. I was at work the other day and one of the maintenance guys had a check valve assembly (way bigger than this obviously) and I had a ****** idea. Since the pcv system in the valve cover is basically the same thing, why not just get a small one and see if it'll band-aid the situation. Our sweet Kai is suddenly very sick and frail looking. Last weekend my sister helped me transition him into his new 10 gallon tank and everything was looking good. Hi all, I was hoping to get some guidance on getting rid of hair algae (green beard algae?), as I'm starting to get tired of it. I will try to give as many setup details as possible to hopefully direct any suggestions! The tank was started in October of last year. While it first had a brown hair algae issue, that has been replaced with this constant, slightly tougher green hair algae. This is a high-tech setup that was planted densely from the start. Quick backstory: Ball python's enclosure was sitting in the low to mid 80s on the warm side for about a week by mistake, not sure how it happened BUT it has since been fixed, I've checked his temps every single day. He regurged JUST fur 6 days after eating (fed February 27th), he's roughly 200/210 grams and eating f/t pups in the 20 \~ 28 gram range every week.
