Day 8 of cycling, water is looking extremely green/brown (I’m aware a lot of it could be because of the tannins from wood & botanicals), however would a water change to make it clear be worth doing now or should I wait until the cycle is complete? Another question - I added bottled beneficial bacteria and fish food a few days ago, I haven’t added anything since, should I keep adding fish food every few days or would that first sprinkling I did be enough? Also worth noting there’s loads of small snails in here (must have been in plants I bought from store), would they effect the ghost feeding process? I love living and working out in the country, with the peace and privacy this lifestyle affords me, but it does get kinda lonely now and then interacting with the same people every single day. I’d describe myself as sorta redneck/hippie. I am setting up a new 40g breeder tank, and I have a very specific idea in mind regarding the driftwood and rocks. I live North of Atlanta, and there are MAYBE 2 local fish stores within hours of me. I had been waiting for a month for one of the fish stores to get a shipment for all their "XL" hardscape pieces, and not a single piece was long enough to stretch across the tank the way I want it to. Do y'all usually order those bigger pieces online, or am I just SOL? What I wanted was a long piece of driftwood to go from the back left corner of the tank and flow across the tank. I have had a 10 gallon tank for about 5 years. 3 years with the same 5 harlequin rasbora, 5 ember tetra, and 2 Otto. I changed 1/3 water each week. I treat the pater with prime. I have charcoal filter. It kept getting dirtier to the point I was having to change it 2 x a week. Ultimately I decided to change the gravel, which I now realize was ******. Everyone died except 2 rasbora. I waited 10 days, checking ammonia and nitrate and nitrite every day and all seemed fine. I then got the remaining 2 rasbora 5 new friends - 3 rasbora and 2 ember tetra. Now everyone has died except one rasbora and one ember tetra. The ember tetra has a tuft of white on his lip. Don’t know what to do from here ...

My friend and I have gotten addicted to RDRO and I put 100 hours into it in a little over 2 weeks. Other than bounty hunting, story missions and call to arms, what other missions can we do that are fun and pays decently? We can spend hours just roaming around and hunting/fishing/collecting, but we like doing the occasional mission together but we're getting a bit bored of call to arms and bounty hunting, so I was wondering if there's other missions we can do and if there's other fun missions in the telegrams? We all rely on Discogs (a lot!) to track our collections, try and avoid buying double-up’s, check a value or pressing detail and so on - for me, I’ve often found myself getting frustrated at trying to quickly work out what I’m actually ***missing*** from an artist.. what don’t I have? I have a completist mindset so when I’m out digging I’ll head to the artist section who I’m collecting, and I just want to quickly remind myself of the gaps so I can hone in on what I need. Hi all, I'm having this bug appear since the last cachy-proton update. If I change to the Cachyos v3 version or Proton 10.4 as either the default proton or the game's individual proton it will let me install but it's still odd. Checking the game on protondb all previous titles were gold or platinum (https://www.protondb.com/search?q=dawn%20of%20war) and playing the definitive edition previously with the cachy slr I've had no issues at all. Anyone else have this issue or know what could be causing it?

I set this tank up yesterday and planted plants from the store. No fish no snails in it. Today I found an eggsack on one of the leaves. It looks like snail eggs but it's way bigger than any snail eggs I have seen in my own tanks before. Anyone got an idea what it could be?

I am working on an independent film and in one of the scenes , the character buys a fish from the grocery store and releases it into the wild (can be either lake / ocean). I am based in Seattle, WA . Is there a local fish I could buy at the grocery store and safely release into the wild? I don’t want to do anything that would disrupt the local ecosystem, and obviously want to be conscious of releasing it in the right kind of waters. I looked into releasing goldfish, but all my sources said that was a huge NO since they can become invasive.
