I am trying to shift my two betta tanks to natural/ planted tanks and bought this driftwood. I see some people boiling, some not. I already have Indian almond leaves in my tanks so I’m worried about having too much tannin in the water, but both bettas are recovering from fin rot so I feel like it would help?

So I have a good amount of Mollies and I’m usually really good at identifying their sex but I feel like balloon bellies are harder . Lady at the pet store said that #1 is a boy and this one is the one that I’m kinda on the fence about . My brother and I are getting geared up to go on some back packing trips in the Adirondacks this year and I am considering investing in a gps. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good model, that is user friendly and doesn't break the bank. Other than that any tips and good gear recommendations are welcome.
