I’m honestly a bit stunned and wanted to sanity-check this with others. I brought a fishing rod back to BCF Auburn with the original receipt after it snapped during normal use. Hello, so I've been kicking around the idea to set up a 5 gallon Betta tank, so far I only have my 90 gallon goldfish tank. My question is, is there any way to safely avoid cross contamination? My goldfish are from a breeder who takes careful action to provide parasite free fish, which I have continued to maintain. But my Betta fish would most likely come from a pet store, so despite his tank obviously being in a different room I also plan on not using any items for both tanks (so separate bucket, WC hose and I even plan on keeping seperate hand towels for me to dry my hands when working with the tank). I installed a water bubble wall in my living room because it looked incredibly cool and calming in the showroom. The salesperson failed to mention that these things require constant maintenance and attention. I essentially bought myself an aquarium without fish but with equal responsibility. The water needs to be topped off regularly. The pump needs cleaning. The tubes get algae buildup. If you don’t maintain it constantly it starts looking gross and defeats the entire aesthetic purpose. I thought I was buying a cool decoration, not signing up for a maintenance hobby. It still looks amazing when it’s clean and working properly. But that requires work I don’t always feel like doing. And I died.... Can the Apex Predator kill from two tiles away or is there more than one predator? I was trying to run away from the predator, keeping it at two tiles. When I arrived at the bunker I turned south for hydration reasons and then I was attacked by 'a beast'. Is that the same predator still on two tiles away.
