I have a juvenile red eared slider and they have the necessary things they need like uvb, a basking area, and a 35 gal tank at the moment. BUT since i live in the philippines, there are not that much good sources to actually obtain good and better quality products ESPECIALLY for red eared sliders and turtles in general. I live in a province and the two sources of shops for me right now is - the local pet store but mainly they sell fishes and fish products And a shopping platform called Shopee. The only better quality things i have in my setup is the Zoo Med basking area, the pellets, api water conditioner and a sunsun 304b with alot of good filter media. I work at a smaller pet store and I often have people coming in asking for a singular tetra or other group fishes. I ask if they have any of that in their tank already and often times it’s no. When I tell them they need to be in groups they only get 2. I suggest they get more but typically they don’t really listen. Although I've had sardines, saury and other types of canned kabayaki fish, this was my first herring. As is typical with most kabayaki style cans, this herring from Tahara was a bit too sweet for me, but when eaten with mandatory hot white rice, it's quite good.
