I've read other posts and there never seems to be much consensus. I follow pepper guru on YouTube who uses 100% compost for his peppers. Some people seem to think that is insane. I just brought home a truckload of locally made compost with sawdust, fish scraps, coffee grinds and horse manure. It is well finished. I want to use 75% compost and 25% "raised bed" soil from the store. Any reason why I shouldn't? I'll be growing mostly peppers and some tomatoes.

Now a funny story. This year i started a job on a retail drugs store. Long story short, was a terrible job overall, a dead end. A bitter and annoying manager. I'm new to carp- do you really need a 10', MH moderate rod? I picked up a kat king 6' spinning combo from Cabela's, medium heavy fast action. I would rather carp fish from the bank with it, but I'm weary of casting distance. I probably need 30-50 feet in my area. After seeing the OP on the Kozmic Color collection- I went on a hunt to find the this line. 2 stores later..I stumbled upon the orange nail polish ! I did a quick glue tab press on set, while tanning this afternoon. I decided to try a top coat on my press ons and I love, love, love it !! I definitely think it works better as a finishing topcoat versus as a main nail polish. I painted my toes, and wasn’t a fan of it being an actual base coat. Definitely snag one if you can ! I don’t know about you guys, but my bettas LOVE mosquito larvae. The larvae swim and twitch in the most enticing way, and hide for enriching hunting. Mosquito larvae cannot pass pathogens on to fish. They won’t reproduce and end up infesting your tank. And it feels like revenge against those bloodsuckers…. If you’re able to, putting a jar per betta of standing water in your yard is a great way to get free live food through the whole season. I personally recommend collecting the larvae every 2 or 3 days, to make sure you don’t accidentally end up making a mosquito fest, and putting them in a closed jar to grow bigger. I had a tank from 2 years ago with no plants and plastic decorations. When I was looking at it recently I decided that I need to fix my mistakes and start a new tank with real hardscape and plants.
