Hello, My boyfriend wants to get into fishing as a hobby, and I’d love to surprise him with a really nice starter setup. I want to get him a good fishing pole and any other gear he’ll need or enjoy using. There’s no set budget because he deserves something quality. He’s only gone once before with a friend and used their extra pole, so I’m not sure what brand or style he used. He’ll mostly be fishing in ponds, so I’d love recommendations for beginners that are good for pond fishing. What rod/reel combos, tackle, accessories, or must-haves would you guys recommend? Hi all My 55mm Evo arrived yesterday. Optically and ergonomically, it's everything I could want from a Zony 55mm MK2.
