Mini AI tools for both job seekers and business owners

3h ago

Most AI advice treats job hunting and business growth separately, but the underlying problems are similar: clarity, positioning and messaging. I’ve built mini tools for both sides: * For **business owners/marketers**: * Lead Generator for campaign ideas. * Buyer Journey Audit for site conversion. * Value Positioning Analyzer for sharper messaging. * For **job seekers**: * Smart Job Application Assistant that takes a job description + your CV and helps you adjust your skills, write a tailored letter and align your LinkedIn profile. The idea: less time staring at a blank page, more time executing. All of these live inside my **AI for Growth** library of small, focused too...

Beginner Hunter

3h ago

I’m currently in Japan about to head back to the states, new to this Bourbon hunting adventure. Please recommend what I absolutely should NOT miss out on this selection, I picked up the red and black Blantons so far. Found these at a local Liquor Store. Convert Japanese Yen to USD. ($1 > ¥156)

3h ago

I don't have one. I know the usual suspects. Order of importance's, in my opinion. fish sauce and salt, sugar charred onion, ginger, shallots (must have spices) star anise, cloves and cinnamon (nice to have) peppercorns, coriander seed, fennel seed, cardamon pods. I know people have secret spices recipe Share please. I can share one secret that i was told. Good pho in Vietnam uses bones from mature working cattle. While in the US, pretty much all bones in stores are one year old cows finished on a corn diet.

Predestined: The Miracle System (AKA Magic)

3h ago

In Predestined, all "unnatural" capabilities that the church believes humans aren't capable of producing on their own are called "Miracles". Miracles have this common name because of the current church, but they were called by many things and categorized differently in the past. This is simply the church's categorization. About Casting Miracles: In Predestined, miracles are casted by using what the church calls "spiritual energy." The more common name for this is soul energy. In the same way that demons require demonic energy to use their abilities, humans use rechargeable soul energy to cast any miracle. This energy regenerates over time just like s...

Cooking on Somebody Else's Sailboat - Recipe Ideas and Other Tips

3h ago

Most of the crew opportunities that I identify online require equal contributions around the boat, from maintaining watches, cleaning, and cooking. I want to contribute my fair share on these passages, but for a long time in my life, I never seriously did much cooking for myself. That's changed a lot over the last couple years to the point where I have pantry at home that is stocked with the essentials for cooking a wide variety of meals, I have upgraded my cookware, I subscribe to the NYT cooking app, and generally have started to feel confident in my kitchen as I learn new recipes and cook for myself. That said, on the last passage I was on, I felt like a fish out of water in the ga...

We tried building a support ticket triage agent 3 times and this is the only setup that didn’t fall apart.. sharing ou...

4h ago

we recently built a support triage agent and figured I’d share the approach here in case it helps someone. so we reached a point where the ticket volume got reasonably high and triage quality wasn’t how we wanted it to be. We essentially kept repeating the same 3 steps every single time: * read the ticket * hunt for customer context across CRM / billing / usage * assess priority + route it So we started treating this by building small data pipeline that fed into our AI agent. The AI did the job of synthesizing info to score and route it correctly, but this works only if your data pipeline is solid. Here are a few steps we followed, which were quick and easy to debug. **1) Ingest*...

Why I'll never hunt in Colorado again

4h ago

# You know that agitating feeling when something you thought you forgot about resurfaces to haunt you? Unfortunately, I have to deal with that feeling as I type this. And, hopefully, by venting the experience out to everyone else, I will never have to dwell on this horrific memory ever again. I'm Matt. As of the time of this post, I am currently 25 years old; almost a decade ago, I was scarred by an experience so unusual and so eerie that I hoped I would never have to recall if I just buried it deep and never dug it back up. As you can tell, though, that's a luxury I couldn't afford. Allow me to provide context. When I was 15 years old, my father drove himself, my older br...

4h ago

Nowadays, people, mainly moviegoers, are lead to believe that *Spinosaurus* are murder machines even worse than T-Rex. No thanks to Jurassic Park III. My version of Walking with Dinosaurs 2025 would be showing the *Spinosaurus* to be an animal as normal as any other wild life in the modern world. That said, while the main focus is the *Spinosaurus*, there are plenty of dinosaurs that would be touched upon. **Act I** Our main *Spinosaurus*, Sobek would be depicted resting in his territory, only to be driven out by a pack of *Carcharodontosaurus.* The main plot would have been about Sobek traversing through the river and finding a new home, all the while we see different sections of the ...

Monte Cristo virtually sold out in Australia! Is it thanks to this subreddit?

4h ago

Wanted to join club, but good luck getting your hands on the book. A couple of stores in Sydney had a copy commemorative hardcover edition for 60AUD. Otherwise no where has one. They can order it but it won’t be arriving until mid March. Book store staff said they’ve never sold this many copies in such a short period of time. 3 separate people when into a store in Victoria in off day trying to hunt down a copy. It’s sad I missed out but marvelous for the subreddit and community! Happy reading everyone and I will be vicariously reading through the posts

Three dead apps at $0, fourth app passed $4.5K MRR once I stopped coding first and started validating like a grown-up

4h ago

My first three apps were beautiful, polished, and completely useless. Six months of coding each, pixel-perfect UI, clever features I was proud of zero paying users, zero revenue, zero traction. I never spoke to a single real user before building. I just trusted my "product instincts" and whatever seemed to be trending on Twitter and Product Hunt. Classic technical founder mistake repeated three times. The turning point was studying real app founders who shared exactly how they got from 0 to 1,000 users with receipts: 20-30 customer interviews upfront before writing code, shipping ugly one-feature MVPs in 2-3 weeks not 6 months, multi-platform launches across 20+ directories not ju...

Stalker base, day 481

4h ago

Ammo boxes are 50 rounds for pistol and 20 for rifle. Lots of tools, scrap metal, hides, etc in the drawers. The cabinet left of the furniture crafting table is stuffed to the gills with flares. The three jerry cans on the cabinet are full, still working on topping up the ones on the floor next fishing trip. I do have Barb's rifle as well as a few more revolvers but haven't set out all of the revolvers and need to find another rack (maybe one in MT? haven't been there in a bit) to hang it up. Haven't really used the front of the store or bathroom for anything although I did steal the locker out of the bathroom to store crafting materials in.

Help identifying

4h ago

Hello everyone, my neon tetra of about 4 years just developed this white streak on his dorsal fin. He lives with 3 cherry barbs in a 10 gallon tank. It’s always been them, it’s fully planted and the tank is very mature. I recently added 4 more neons and two have died from the stress, and everything else is fine. Water parameters are 78 degrees, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 10ish nitrates, it’s concerning because I’ve never had a sick fish in this tank and I’m really hoping the fish store quarantined like they claim. It’s local and they sold me this tetra who is 4. I’m sorry for the bad picture.

Can’t wait to see what is to come!

Just recently put 20 hours into this game to get all the achievements on Steam and found this game so enjoyable. The ice fishing was such a fun alternative and hope they add more to this in the future but can’t wait to see what’s in store for this Spring and Summer!

"You're not afraid of the dark, are you?"- Looking for opponents for RIDDICK (The Chronicles of Riddick)

4h ago

> Born in the midst of the ethnic cleansing of his home planet and left for dead in the trash bin of a liquor store, with his own umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, **Richard B. Riddick** proved himself from day one to have an innate will to survive. Facing the cruelty of the vast universe with an equal animosity, this convicted criminal, serial murderer and seasoned survivalist has shown that no inhospitable planet, triple-max slam facility nor omnicidal empire can get between him and his freedom, no matter how many men or creatures he has to kill in the process. Who has what it takes to evade this Furyan warrior's Eyeshine in a Death Battle? DETAILS I'M INTERESTED IN...

Disney Dreamlight Valley - Unpopular Opinion Review

4h ago

After reading comments on this sub I almost didn't purchase this game (I was torn between Hello Kitty Island Adventure or this as my 'cozy game'), but ended up buying DDLV after watching people playing it on YouTube. I want to offer the perspective of someone who played the game recently. Now, first of all, I get the frustration of them saying it would be f2p and then changing their minds. Regardless of that, I feel like the f2p situation has been discussed to death but people really don't go into what the game itself is like. Here's my take on common critiques as someone who played the game for the last two months: 1) Constant microtransactions: I'm really...

Casa Flores Yellowfin Tuna Ventresca in EVOO with Spanish Orange

5h ago

With intel from u/Tinned_Fish_Tyler , this is the can I chased down at my local QFC (after learning from a few other folks here who said it was available at Kroger's stores). The fish is average for yellowfin ventresca -- very firm, rich meat that can't be shredded easily with a fork -- but the real star is the Spanish orange flavor. Unlike most "lemon" sardines with nearly undetectable lemon flavor, this tuna actually has a delicious and distinctive orange zing (that darker piece in the middle of the can is a slice of orange peel). I ate the first half of this can in salad with a drizzle of Carandini Orange Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar, which enhanced the orange flavor...
