Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Cabelas Latest Community Discussions About Cabela'sI recently come across a lot of TikTok‘s where people are saying that cats need to be outdoors and I truly believe the...1h agoThis isn’t “anti-cat,” it’s about ecology, science, and being knowledgeable as a person who is responsible for another living being. If we look at community ecology and real studies, free-roaming cats behave a lot like known invasive species and have real impacts on ecosystems and on the cats themselves. In ecology, some species have a disproportionate influence on ecosystem structure. Keystone species like sea otters keep sea urchins in check, which keeps kelp forests healthy. Without otters, urchins explode, kelp disappears, and the whole ecosystem collapses. This shows how species interactions maintain biodiversity and ecosystem function. When humans go and introduce or subsidi... I think I’m role playing for the first time… and I think I like it.1h agoI had 400 hours in this game prior to this most recent/current play through. Since playing it back in 2020 or so, I got into souls likes really heavy. Prior to that, it was sports and shooters. As much as I loved this game for the story, graphics, gameplay, etc. I don’t think I ever really understood how people could play this game for hundreds of hours and still be in chapter 2. Until now. Bro - I’m hunting. Like… actually hunting. Looking for perfect pelts, and attempting to “catch ‘em all,” so to speak. I’m crafting for the first time in this game. I’m riding my horse and actually looking at the environment- which is ******* beautiful, might I add. I’m getting off my ... Nuri Sardines in Olive Oil — Bad Batch??1h agoSecond time trying Nuri Sardines in Olive Oil — and this time I got three cans in a row that gave me the same experience: They were dry, sour, and had an unpleasant spicy/burny taste that irritated my tongue and left it feeling dry for over an hour after I finished the can. I found the skin broken, meat already fallen apart as soon as I opened the cans. The oil also seemed noticeably thinner than Spiced Sardines in Olive Oil’s. I even found a tail in one can. The cans with smaller fish (more than three per can) were especially bad but I didn’t take pictures. Not sure if it was a bad batch, but I bought from different sellers. 27m from Michigan, start 1st shift tomorrow but can’t sleep and want someone to talk to 😭😅2h agoHeyo, I start 1st shift at my job tomorrow after being on 3rds my whole life and I can’t for the life of me fall asleep😭 hoping I can talk to someone until I eventually end up falling asleep. We can talk about anything I get along with just about everyone 😊 But if you need to know a lil about me, I’m really big into hunting, fishing and homesteading! Mainly fishing though that’s my biggest hobby. Oh and I live in the UP of Michigan so HAMMERED with snow right now New tank owner; looking for help from anyone knowledgeable and willing!2h agoHey folks! For most of my life I’ve wanted to have a nice fish tank with a lot of color/variety but it never worked out and so I never learned about what I wanted. I recently ended up with a 32-36 gallon tank with a bowed front and after a lot of looking into it, I really want to have a soft coral reef setup. I should stop here and acknowledge the wiki that is available, but at the risk of sounding ****, the density of it all is very discouraging. One of my biggest concerns is that I’m being overzealous by trying to get a salt water tank and if I am, I guess I’m looking for alternative suggestions to get the same type of variety that might be easier to handle. But if it’s something t... Got fined for staying too long at Bunnings??2h agoA few weeks ago my partner and I moved house, and to prepare for our (larger) home we took a trip to Bunnings to buy anything and everything we would need. We were there for almost 2 hours, deciding between tools, debating over plants, hunting down tidbits. We spent a bunch of money. Well, apparently that was about 20 minutes longer than you’re allowed to spend at Bunnings, because I just got an $85 parking fine for overstaying what is apparently a P90 zone… inside the Bunnings building. If anyone knows Bunnings Grey Lynn, the parking is literally inside the Bunnings, it’s not shared by any other shops. And if there were P90 signs around we missed them. I’m just a bit shocked, wh... Methods to encourage egg release?2h agoI'm getting a little frustrated here as when I post in the regular /r's, I get mostly "oh she's just fat", but when I'm talking (in person) to people who are familiar with / raising betta, then I get "aww, look at her egg belly". Yes, for a while she was probably getting a lot more than she ought to (see past algae bloom I had to clear up), but I've done a few 2-3 day fastings, dropped her meals to 1x /dy and the only changes I'm seeing are her being a bit miffed at me (for the food / she gets mouthy / need to get that on camera >,<) and she's been sleeping in her back corner (on the thermometer since I installed in in back... I finally bought the Surplus Fish Recipe this New Year Event. What Imperial Meal should I hunt next?2h agoDaily Post #4: 1m fishing xp!2h ago3 Months in Southeast/East Asia Trip Report!2h agoOnebag win! Last year I traveled to Southeast/East Asia for three months and lightened my load a lot thanks to this sub's help. This was my second onebag trip after traveling for two weeks in Spain in the old Patagonia refugio (\~22L). Wanted to report back in case anyone is planning a similar trip this year and I could help. **Image descriptions:** 1. Fully packed Osprey Fairview 40L halfway through trip 2. Outfit photos 3. Outfit photos 4. Toiletries, misc, and first aid items packed into bag (don't have other packing photos unfortunately) 5. Budget breakdown **Stats** * Countries traveled to: Singapore (6 days), Malaysia (10 days), Thailand (1 month), Cambodia (5 days), J... Finally secured the Latidos 2022 Miku!2h agoI've been hunting for this specific Taito Coreful (Latidos 2022 ver.) for months, but the prices on the aftermarket were getting ridiculous. I finally managed to snag her from Prex Hobby online hobby store I stumbled upon recently, and she just arrived today! Honestly, for a prize figure, the detail on the braids and the painting on the ruffles is incredible. She genuinely looks better than some of the more expensive scales I own. It’s crazy how good affordable anime figures are getting lately. Does anyone else have this one in their collection? I'm trying to decide if I should display her next to my Sakura Miku or give her a dedicated shelf spot. Launched my first SaaS on Product Hunt.3h agoHey everyone, I just launched SizeChart.shop on Product Hunt. It helps online stores create accurate size charts to reduce returns. I would really appreciate any feedback, especially on the positioning and onboarding. Here is the launch page: https://www.producthunt.com/products/size-chart-shop I saw this on TikTok, is this real??3h agoI was mindlessly scrolling throught my FYP when I came across this video, this can't be true can it?? Is this lady pulling my leg or can a betta survive that long in one of these little cups?? Surely the people running the pet store wouldn't just leave this little guy on the shelf for more than a year. PromoPro UK is amazing!3h agoHey everyone, I wanted to share a site I have been using a lot recently for saving money when shopping online in the UK: **PromoPro UK**. If you are someone who always looks for the best deals before you buy, this site is definitely worth checking out. PromoPro UK gathers free promo codes, discount offers and deals from a wide range of UK retailers. From fashion and tech to groceries and travel, there are codes and offers available for lots of different categories. What I like most about it is that the codes are kept up to date and most of them actually work when you use them at checkout. The site is simple to use. You can search for a specific store or browse by category to find the best... I've stopped importing prize figures from Japan because the shipping just isn't worth it anymore.3h agoI finally pulled the trigger on this Sakura Miku (Taito AMP), but this release was my breaking point. I had her in my cart on one of the big Japanese sites, and the DHL shipping quote was literally more expensive than the figure itself. I ended up hunting around and found her at Prex Hobby instead. It’s an online hobby store I hadn't used before, but the total price (with shipping) came out significantly cheaper than importing. It feels like the golden age of cheap importing is over. For people who collect prize figures or affordable scales, are you sticking to the big Japanese giants, or have you shifted to smaller shops to save on shipping? I feel like I need to update my bookmarks. A Handsome, Humorous Man3h agoI want to tell you about what happened with my sister and her boyfriend. It was a long time ago now, but I still feel like someone ought to know. My sister’s name is Diffie. I mean, her real name is Eugenia, but no one calls her that. You know how it goes. When this all happened, she was working part-time at the Food Ministry downtown and living upstairs in our parents’ big old farmhouse. I was still living there too, for the time being, but I had just graduated from college and I was flying out to a lot of interviews in Chicago and New York and places like that. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my parents and all, but I couldn’t wait to land a high-powered job in a high-powered ci... To those wondering about if a Fleet Carrier is worth it.3h agoI see many people asking about Fleet Carriers and if they're worth it. Depending on what you do, absolutely. It's 5 Billion as a base price while extra facilities are between 150 & 250 Million additional. Fleet Carriers are also accompanied by a weekly maintenance fee of between 18-34 Million (these do not include additional maintenance costs for jumps. Fleet Carriers are fueled by Tritium which can be mined from asteroids or bought from stations- you will need to transport that tritium to your Fleet Carrier. If you're mining/hauling, you can store stuff on your Fleet Carrier. If you're bounty hunting, you can rearm and repair- and redeem your vouchers if y... 🎬🍿✨ Events for Monday, January 5 — Lights, Camera, St. Augustine! 🌟3h ago🎶 Live Music in St. Augustine – Monday, January 5th A smooth, easy Monday with elegant daytime sets, wine‑bar afternoons, and a strong trio of evening favorites. 🌞🎸🌙 ☀️ Midday Sets (12:15 pm – 4:00 pm) • Richard Kuncicky 📍 Cafe Alcazar | 🕧 12:15 pm – 3:15 pm • Muddy Marshall 📍 Bin 39 Wine Bar | 🕐 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm 🌤️ Afternoon Flow (4:00 pm – 7:00 pm) • Bret Blackshear 📍 Bin 39 Wine Bar | 🕓 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm 🌆 Evening Highlights (5:00 pm – 10:00 pm) • Kevin Edwards 📍 Hurricane Grill & Wings | 🕔 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm • Stu Weaver 📍 Harry’s Seafood Bar & Grille | 🕕 6:00 pm – 10... 🎬🍿✨ Events for Monday, January 5 — Lights, Camera, St. Augustine! 🌟3h ago🎶 Live Music in St. Augustine – Monday, January 5th A smooth, easy Monday with elegant daytime sets, wine‑bar afternoons, and a strong trio of evening favorites. 🌞🎸🌙 ☀️ Midday Sets (12:15 pm – 4:00 pm) • Richard Kuncicky 📍 Cafe Alcazar | 🕧 12:15 pm – 3:15 pm • Muddy Marshall 📍 Bin 39 Wine Bar | 🕐 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm 🌤️ Afternoon Flow (4:00 pm – 7:00 pm) • Bret Blackshear 📍 Bin 39 Wine Bar | 🕓 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm 🌆 Evening Highlights (5:00 pm – 10:00 pm) • Kevin Edwards 📍 Hurricane Grill & Wings | 🕔 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm • Stu Weaver 📍 Harry’s Seafood Bar & Grille | 🕕 6:00 pm – 10... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
