i set up my tank on Thursday and got some plants from the store. Planning to add way more plants as it will be a tank for Kuhlis and glass cats. I’m still a beginner to the hobby. I noticed this stuff on my Java ferns. it’s been there since I got them. the plants were in other tanks with fish at the store before I purchased them. is this algae? (note: I have a special light that changes with the time and turns off late at night. I just put it on full brightness for the picture)

Need some help because I’m completely lost with my TOS setup at the moment. Originally the HDD that had the TOS OS on it failed. Instead of replacing it with another HDD I decided to install TOS onto a NVME instead. Before doing the install I removed all the drives so nothing got touched accidentally. Fresh install went fine and booted no issues. After putting the drives back in though nothing mounted properly. Had to manually assemble mdadm arrays, activate the volume groups and manually mount stuff just to get the old volumes back. At one point I couldn’t even find the old Public share and had to go hunting through the logical volumes to find where it actually was. Issue is now that...

I bought a Fjällräven Kajka 85 today after going back and forth between the 75 and 85 for quite a while. I honestly thought the 85 would be to large as I'm used to a 55l Gregory Katmai, but after getting home and actually packing it the way I realistically would for a mountain trip, it suddenly made a lot more sense. I’m pretty happy with my tank, but there’s always room for improvement. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go now? I’ve kept planted tanks for 20+ years, but not very successfully. I’ve had this basic 20 gallon tank for most of that time. I’ve never been able to keep red plants successfully. About four months ago, I decided to try using Claude to help me build the tank I’ve always wanted. It turns out that I was almost doing everything right, I just needed a few tweaks. **In my opinion, I think that chapter 3 is the best chapter.** **It's a nice middle ground between the gang recovering after Blackwater and when Dutch starts to become more paranoid and the story starts to go downhill.** **Chapter 2 is a close second but Chapter 3 has you do mission with most of the gang, John, Sean, Hosea, Dutch, Bill ect.
