Hi there, I'm having a problem with flies that are dead/dying around my flat. I was hoping someone could advise. I live above a shop that has just been occupied by a tenant selling fishing gear. For the past month, I've found big house flies around my flat. The neighbour next door has the same problem. I’m so sad, I buried my baby today. Held a whole funeral for her and some of my friends came to support me. My bf found her dead on Thursday but I’m sure she died Wednesday bc she randomly came out during the afternoon, breathing heavily and she seemed to be shaking. Went to the pet store a couple weeks ago to get some things for my cats. My friend pointed out that they had dates written on the tops of the betta; this guy had been stuck in a cup for over 5 months. There was no way I could leave him there. He graced me with a photoshoot tonight. I didn’t think to take “before” picks of his glow-up; but seeing him with all his fins flying and feelin’ cute makes me so happy. It’s like a whole new fish. And fear not; I’m going to be switching all the plastic decor for live plants.

In the near future I would like to try and set up a paludarium. As far as land animals go, I have the most experience with caring for Ts so given their relative size and forest homes I was wondering if it is possible to keep a tarantula in a paludarium. Unlike a majority of paludariums I plan to have mine be more horizontal, focusing on floorspace over height(lilkely 60/40 land to water). The water section theoretically wont be too deep as I only plan to house shrimp and small fish in it. Initially I gave it the benefit of the doubt but now I‘m just infuriated. I think the main problem is that we only get a few free pulls from events and the rest you have to buy pulls except from the few heart crystal gacha which have each own unique problems. My main issues: 1. The banners finish too quick and they seem to be pushing certain things instead of keeping it on theme. Hey there. I have a one month old tank, but it’s cycled with a ton of rock in the sump from our 10 year old tank. (The fish store tested it several times and said it basically looks like a cycled tank.) I’m getting algae on the exact spots where my radions are having direct exposure. (There’s no algae in shadow areas for instance.) It’s very clear the lights plus the ambient light in my room are causing the bloom. But here’s the question: My lights were set at 50% and I knocked them down to 25%. Should I have done that, or reduce length of exposure instead? Hello everyone, I would like some help because I don't understand what happened. I cycled an aquarium for the required 3 weeks until the water parameters were correct. I bought some fish from a pet store: 2 male guppies, 5 females, and 5 other small fish. In one week, only one of the male guppies remained; the others all died within a week.
