So after cycling for about 3 months, testing with strips, I took a water sample to to my local fish store, they said I was good to go and I left with 6 blue dream shrimp. Testingthe PH prior i thought it was much lower, the little guys were drip acclimated for 3 hours and have survived 48 hours in their new tank. I also have the temp set to 72-76 F Should I lower the PH? What’s the best way to do that? Also! One of the shrimp has eggs that look like they are ready to burst so I’d love some happy shrimp babies as well SOS

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some perspective because I’m starting to feel resentful and I don’t know if I’m being unreasonable. My husband and I have three kids. I work full time, and I’m currently a nursing mom, so I’m pumping constantly on top of everything else. I also handle daycare drop-off and pickup every day and get all three kids ready in the mornings. My husband works very long hours, so I’m alone with the kids a lot. On top of that, he goes on frequent fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling trips. These trips leave me solo parenting even more than I already am. While on a business trip to Brno, Czech Republic, I found a small coin shop called Hadyna - Numismatika. The owner had a single tray of Roman/Greek coins, and from the tray I found a rather handsome Gordian III denarius and a rather worn Vespasian one. I really like the reverse on the Gordian, and for \~$78 it was hard to say no! The Vespasian is so worn I am not sure how to even go about finding the correct reference for it ... any help would be much appreciated! It also has a small whole through the coin on top of Vespasian's head, almost as though it was worn on a chain. I can't expect much better for $19 though! I’m pretty new to the aquarium hobby and I’m honestly feeling a little sad. I did a lot of research before starting, cycled my tank, tested water, stocked slowly, acclimated properly, and still ended up having to return guppies due to deaths and poor health. I Then started over with ember and neon tetras. 4 days into having the Tetras, the embers are needing to be treated for possible ich. I even bought from a reputable pet store, instead of petsmart and the fish looked healthy when I got them.
