figured i-d share some parking tips for the show at dingbatz this friday 04/03. parking at 620 van houten ave is honestly always a challenge because it is a small dive bar and they do not have a dedicated parking lot for fans. it can get pretty stressful circling the block right before the set starts. the easiest way to avoid the whole mess is to use Prked. it is an app where people living right by the venue rent out their private driveways and garages for the night. you can book a spot in advance, and it is usually way cheaper than trying to find a public lot. plus you get a guaranteed spot just a short walk away and you can skip the nightmare traffic when the show lets out. ...

hi we have a blood red parrot fish and a few months a go our ellioti in the night decided to have a munch on one of our clown loaches who had passed resulting in us losing him too sadly. we noticed our parrot became quiet and more hidden and not himself. we tested the tank yesterday morning and we was happy that we could add a new fish. my partner spoke to our local shop, who instantly recognised he was lonely. we asked for recommendations told her we have 5 rainbow fish, a pleco, 1 clown loach as he killed everyone else off and is now happy as Larry (evil) 4 cordys and 1 platy (I think he came in on a plant or something?). she recommended a Red Neck Severum he's only small, I'd sa...

hey everyone, figured i'd share some thoughts on parking for the yonder mountain string band show at the aladdin theater on 04/03. if you've been to the aladdin before, you know the parking situation is pretty much a nightmare since they don't have their own lot. before you go circling the blocks for twenty minutes, honestly just check out Prked. it's an app where you can rent driveways or garage spots from people living right next to the aladdin theater. it's way cheaper than those paid lots further away and you get to skip all the post-show traffic by having a guaranteed spot just a short walk away. since the theater is right in the brooklyn neighbo...

Need help with rescaping this 16.5 peninsula tank. Ive work if fish stores before but mainly on the saltwater side and just recently got into freshwater plants. It currently has cherry shrimps And carbon rili red shrimp. There is a bunch of green thread algae that i have been battling for a while now and cant seem to get rid of it. Ive tried hydrogen peroxide, black out, no feeding for a month, etc etc and 0 luck with getting rid of it so i think its time to restructure. Any recommendations or ideas? I didn’t think I’d ever be finding this set. Mostly because every store In a 20+ mile radius around me is scalped by a few guys. (There is 4 guys here every morning at both Walmarts) So glad I was able to get this diorama, it’s in my top 5 dioramas. I’m keeping 1 sealed and opening the other. I bought this Lyretail Killifish and it died within 36 hours. Its tank mates are 15 Chili Rasbora, 5 Endlers and 2 Apistogramma Borellii. I never saw any interaction with the other fish. Could it be that it was already weak in the pet store? Or did I do anything wrong?
