So I fell down a rabbit hole on mobile cart abandonment this week (I'm a bit of a numbers nerd 😅). The stat that caught my eye: mobile sits at around 86%, vs 73% on desktop. That's a massive gap, and a lot of it has to come down to how the checkout actually feels on a phone. One thing I keep thinking about is where the "buy" button lives. I say one change, but it really is one \*type\* of change across most maps. It's one of my main issues with BO6, and something BO7 partly has too. And it's got to do with side quests. I probably fancy side quests more than the average player, but I think they're one of the most important parts of a map. Side quests with unique rewards, that give you something \*new\* for the rest of the game, is sometime alpha omega to me (pun partly intended). It gives you something unique to do, something unique to aquire and use which is very rewarding and satisfying, it greatly imporves the sense of progression, and it grealy improves a map's identity and depth. My trans partner and I broke up nearly three weeks ago. I went out of town for close to 10 days to give them space. I set clear boundaries and expectations for communication to honor their desire for space. Although boundaries are set for yourself, I also set them with them in mind. It's not the first time I've seen this. They obviously edited the actual skin and removed the skull shape from his face to not get backlash from "milsim warriors" but forgot to update the thumbnail. It's not the biggest deal I know, but they are not capable of doing that for a lot of little things, so it makes you believe that if they can't do THAT properly, how they gonna fix the bigger, more complex issues...
