local store had some nice looking smoked turkey wings on a good sale. i haven’t bought them before, and was thinking about using them alongside a dry bean soup mix. i usually make the bean soup in the instantpot after soaking them all night, but i have a slow cooker too. i’m imaging just chucking them in with the beans to let the meat fall off, and ideally i’m just fishing the bones out later? I got back into collecting since my childhood during september of 2025, mainly through scoring great deals at Ross, Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. Any figures from last year or early this year you’re predicting to hit shelves at clearance stores during the fall? last year i had some great legacy pick ups and look forward to this year!! bargain hunting is one of my only viable options to collect given prices and my family growing.

I haven't had fish tanks in a while so I'm kind of nervous for this one. I am not really wanting to mess it up. I have a 3g tank and added aqua soil and capped with sand. The owner of an aquarium store recommended I use RO water and do a dark start so that's what I'm doing. I have had a Walstad tank before but this one I'm planning to do what I did last time and put a pothos plant in it plus some aquarium plants. I have added a bubbler and a few pest snails.
