(Posting this to 2 different subs) How do you keep plants alive in fish tanks and snake enclosures? Every single plant ive bought from a pet store and put in my betta's tank has died. I've put co2 tablets and aquatic plant feed for fish tanks and theyre in the substrate deep enough. My reptile plants died too but I think it was a humidity/dryness issue. What viney plants would you recommend for a corn snake?

Wanted to come say hi to this subreddit aswell and show my journey so far + tanks and happily take advices/feedback on them. Here's my 7 week journey into aquarium hobby so far. the 3rd tank has some kind of algae problem, but i'm doing my best to learn and work on it. 1st tank: 53L, with Betta (not bother other fish), 6 Medakas, 6 Ember tetras, 6 Otos and 12 Neoncaridina shrimps. I've been playing GIM with my IRL friend for nearly 2 years and the account is starting to come along very nicely. I posted my first total level post at 1400 total. Our PvM journey is now fully underway. We got spooned at bandos with an easy BGS completion as well as 2 tassets for me and my buddy. I've been considering buying a Bodyguard 2.0. We have a few outdoor stores here (Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, Scheels) and I can buy one starting at $399. I thought I'd check out what has always been considered one of the largest gun shows in the area (about 45 minute drive). There wasn't a single one out of about 100+ tables. Haven't been to a gun show is a few years. Is this normal? I was thinking if I could find one for $350 and save a little on local sales tax, I'd pick one up. We have had a Betta tank for a little over a year now and we can't seem to keep any of the fish alive. I have to be doing something wrong here. I test the water weekly, sometimes twice a week, I have never had it out of Parameters from what I've read here. Water has 25% changed every 7 - 10 days with a gravel vacuum.
