I got a new tank, 18 gallons set up yesterday and started cycling. I was mostly using fresh/dry driftwood, but I got one piece with an Anubius grown on it from a LFS. Apparently it came with this little guy. The tank has some cycled media, mainly the Anubius on driftwood from the store, and a black lava rock from my existing tank, the rock had only been in my fully established tank for about 2 weeks before moving it into the new tank so it might not have ajd that much bacteria on it. Before realizing this guy was in there I added some ammonia sources, an algae wafer and some tropical fish food. Will he be okay in here going through the cycle?
