Saw this gorgeous betta at a local fish store but she doesn’t look so hot. She was in a sorority tank and the owners said that she’s just mellow and likes to rest on the bottom, they said she’s been like that since they got her in. I think she is stunning and got her but within two days of having her in my 20gallon established planted tank she passed. To preface, I have never been diagnosed with a food allergy. I’m a 25 y/o female. There have been a couple occurrences where my face has broken out in prickly hives after eating something seafood based though. I am trying to figure out what may be causing it. I do have allergies to certain antibiotics - like Augmentin and Bactrim. My allergy to Augmentin was when I was a child and I complained to my mom that my tongue was itchy. When I was a little kid, I used to get bags of these little dried, silvery fish when my parents went to the Asian food store. That was in the 80s, and I moved out of California years ago. I haven't had access to such a store. I do not know what they were called, so just searching online hasn't been helpful. I tried dried anchovies and those are not them.
