Hi, looking at getting my first canoe. I live in northern WI. I want a canoe that can do BWCA trips and also mild river trips. I was pretty set on the wenonah boundary water canoe at 17 foot, 42 lbs. but I am worried that it will not handle the river well. Plan to use it fishing, multi night trips (two people weighing under 200lbs each), occasional duck hunting. I’m more interested in stability than speed, preferably on the lighter side as I will be portaging it as well. Budget is around 3000$. Any recs for a good all around canoe?

yesterday i met market. In one of the stores i found a terrible situation: baby oranda without one eye floated in 20l tank with a lot of different fishes: bettas, guppies, gourami etc. I guess them all was no good for sale and just waited their death. I bought oranda and put him in a 200 L tank with clean water, aeration and filter. I checked the water quality, absolutely perfect. He was a really bad at night, was floating on the bottom with tail up, barely breathing. Now I gave him a 30L salt bath with aeration. I read that this helps with nitrite poisoning. But he is still not ok (same symptoms). What can i do for him and how long will he healing? I worry abt him sm:(

I'm a bit lost about the plushies. I know you get some from hunting, bug catching and fishing. but how are people getting them. like seeing some people's lots with the ridiculous amount of them, I can grid hunt for days and not see a single one. I actually think I only have one plush from hunting. I personally have gotten most of mine via the lucky coins and prize wheel. am I doing something wrong with the other collectable plushies? do I need to hunt with others? or is it pure RNG

Just got this SuperBrand PigDog as a step-up for my indo trip to sumbawa & Nias / Telo, to go for absolutely nothing else but barrel hunting. It‘s my first step up, should I slam a tailpad on or no? I usually ride a 5‘10 32l quad fish with pad. And does anybody have experience with the Super PigDog and might want to share their experiences? Stoked to hear what you guys have to say.
