Id like to eventually have my own business. I'm 17 and absolutely love reptiles, amphibians and aquatics, so I'd like to have a store that sells mostly tropical fish, aquarium plants, and everything you need to care for them. However I'd also like for it to be a sort of aquarium/reptarium. Does that make sense? I stopped by the March card show at Fire & Ice Games in Rocklin, California to check out the vendors and hunt for some One Piece TCG booster packs. The event had a bunch of vendor tables with trading cards, collectibles, and some retro video games. I also spent some time exploring the store itself because it has a lot of cool decor and gaming-related displays around the shop. I’m sure people post here all the time about setting up tanks so I’m sorry in advance. Just got a new 20 gallon tank (I had a 10 gallon with one beta in the past that did well for several years, but it’s been a long time). Got it set up and did all the treatments and took a sample of water to the pet store and they said my levels were all good. Sold me a few fish and wishing 12 hours all were dead. A few days later had some white fluffy stuff on the decorations that looked like mold. I called a different store and they told me to clean and wash out the tank with vinegar. Hey, just needing a little advice on if I’m just as bad as other managers (and if so what people recommend) or if what I’m doing isn’t a big deal. So I’m an ASM for a really small store. My SM takes 30 min smoke breaks every few hours. I personally only recently started to smoke so I don’t take many smoke breaks but when I do, I take around 5-10 minutes (usually only once or twice a shift unless I’m dealing with something personal then it’ll be four a shift at the absolute max) and when I do, I always keep a radio on me that my SM bought the store so we don’t have to hunt each other down as well as telling the cashier that I’ll be outside for a few minutes. I’ve been eyeballing a Bar Mk4 Medallion and I see my usual online stores have them in stock. I’ve called, none of my LGS have any in stock to hold. I just can’t decide on which caliber. I have dies for all three calibers, currently have a 308 and 300, no 30-06. Lots of brass in 308 and 300. I know the OG Bar was in 30-06 so that gets some bonus points. All three will more than be sufficient for the bear/deer/moose that I hunt at sub 300y ranges. If it matters, I prefer to hunt with mono copper bullets. After getting Master Hunter, Explorer and Survivalist challenges finished, I may go for gambler (still in Chapter 4💀) I also went the extra mile and hunted all legendary animals and fish.
