For those of us who are already familiar with the usuals - Wonder hub, zoo, indoor playgrounds, library, malls, USask Biology museum, etc - what are some cool places to take little kids in and around the city? Kind of a rant. I have kept fish for many years and currently have a 75gal live planted freshwater nano community. I am struggling so hard to get fish to make it through quarantine (alive) when they are from a pet store in order to stock this tank. Doesn't matter the store (LFS, Petco, Petsmart). I typically will get 10-12 fish at a time (currently working on rummynose tetras) and be happy if 2-3 make it through the first week of quarantine. Daily, I am retrieving little dead bodies. Although we tend to be more familiar with the manga and anime out there, novels actually play a huge part as source material for both manga and anime adaptions! In fact, a lot of times we may be more familiar with the manga instead of the novel that inspired certain anime. I wanted to highlight the various Shojo/josei/josei-muke anime whose source material is actually novels, and not necessarily the manga that we’re more familiar with. I used the “based off of a novel” tag to search for these anime, so if any are incorrectly categorized it’s probably due to a labeling error in the database. This isn’t every entry based on a novel, so keep that in mind. Did any surprise you?
