The store was going through a big transition with one manager leaving and one coming back from a coffee break so the store has been a smidge of a mess with restructuring. Am in a West Marches-style campaign with multiple DMs, local game store. One player has aggravated several DMs but not the rest. This has led to a lot of uncomfortable conversations. The player is one of those who’s always fishing for ludicrous advantages, going through long explanations and arguments about why his character should be allowed to do something miraculous, and gets a bit pouty when he doesn’t get his way. Unfortunately after a great initial planting and successfully introducing cherry & amano shrimp my first fish stocking has NOT gone well.. I got ember tetras 2 weeks ago from our local store and they did well in quarantine with no visible disease, and the day after transfer Ich appeared. I immediately raised temp (slowly) and increased oxygen but I’m losing more by the hour at this point. I’ve been running for a year now. I’m getting quicker (though still a beginner really) - roughly 24 min 5K and 49 min 10K. I run around 25K a week so nothing dramatic. I’m not exactly a waif (73kg) but I wouldn’t describe myself as a heavy runner. I usually get the same fish at the grocery store and it’s starting to feel boring. I’m trying to eat healthier and include more seafood in my diet, but fresh options at my local stores are limited and sometimes overpriced.
