The fish we got was sick at the store and unfortunately didn’t last long. Around the same time a mysterious white algae had shown up and shortly after the fish died it completely took over the tank, especially the heater unit. I completely restarted the tank, disinfected everything, and recently we got a new guy after weeks of cycling the tank in preparation. I've been hunting a dryer for a while and I don't recall the exact reasons, but I landed on the space pi x4. I dried all the filaments I had on hand within the first few days and the humidity seems to have gotten below the 20s on all of them, which is great. Since then, however, it seems like rarely the spools will get even into the 20s based on the display on the x4, and when putting them into my dry storage, the hygrometer's seem to echo the same fact. Is there some trick to making the system more efficient? I noticed the desiccant regeneration being a thing, but do I need to do something special for that?
