Drinking great Tequila in Puerto Vallarta1h agoWe drank some great Tequila in PV! Upon arriving we loaded up at my favorite store in ZR - Agave Liquors. So many excellent brands available for sale there including: Volans, Cascahuin, Cazcanes, Tequila Ocho, El Gran Legado, Atanasio, Viva Mexico, Fortaleza and Siembra Valles. Joe Jack's Fish Shack has an amazing Tequila selection at the bar. Xhindó is a Tequila focused bar in ZR that has tons of rare bottles. Something is Slaughtering my fish.. please help me1h agoI’ve had my fish for not even or just a little over a month now. The first error that happened was a cycle crash, which was my fault completely. But I got it fixed and everything was fine until these last few days. For context, I had/have 12 guppies, 1 Red Thick-Lipped Gourami (which was mislabeled as a honey gourami) 7 ember tetras, 5 Peppered corydoras I’ve went down from 12 guppies to 5 and now I lost 1 Ember tetra out of my 7, which all of them seemed to have been doing great until now. The water parameters are great 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5-10 nitrates. It’s a pretty well planted tank, as well as 3 pothos, a spider plant and some purple plant cutting (I’ve been propagating) in t... Just booked my first solo trip and feeling overwhelmed: (Here's how I'm staying on a tight budget without sacr...1h agoThat "OMG I just booked it!" high lasted about an hour after I hit confirm on my flights. Then the *real* feeling hit: a mix of pure excitement and a hefty dose of "OMG what have I done and how am I paying for this?!" panic. My first solo trip, and the budget was already looking tighter than a drum. For a long time, I thought solo travel was a luxury reserved for gap-year students with trust funds or digital nomads making six figures. But I'm neither of those things. I'm just someone who wanted to see a bit of the world without breaking the bank, and without waiting for someone else's schedule to align. So, here's how I'm planning to navigate my ... Wire Fighters: Subete Wa Gemu Uchi De hypothetical roster1h agoPeople sometimes talk what a The Wire video game would look like, and the most common answers are a GTA-like (misses the point) or Disco Elysium (lightning in a bottle, will never be replicated, could just watch the show). Ultimately I think The Wire's fundamental conception as a modern Greek Tragedy illustrating the powerlessness of individual humans within these capricious and unchanging systems is fundamentally at odds with a game genre that encourages agency and changing the world around you. The cast of The Wire try to buck these systems, yet can ultimately only clash with one another while at the mercy of the unseen forces dictating their lives. That's why it should be a ... Do your part, Oppose HB1621h agoHB 162 strips the state’s power to make stricter environmental regulations than those set in Washington. https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/files/pdf/SearchableInstruments/2026RS/HB162-int.pdf This means that we could see our public lands be destroyed and altered permanently for private interests.
