hello! I just got my first fish last night. Some context, although I’m not sure how necessary it is as I think I noticed the issue last night after buying them, but it’s hard to remember (I have MS brain): \- I cycled my tank with a large used/seeded filter media from the LFS, and it took a little under 2 weeks before I was no longer seeing ammonia & nitrites brought themselves down to 0. I didn’t have liquid ammonia so I was dosing with fish food. There was definitely high ammonia for a while, and then a sharp drop and stayed down despite adding more food at times. I had my first ever betta fish for 3 months. Today he’s laying on the rocks, erratically swimming and breathing through one gill. He looks the worst he’s ever looked. He’s in a 3 gallon tank and I started adding a bit of aquarium salt around a month ago to try and help cure what I believe he had was fin rot. I did all the research I could to try and help him. I did frequent 25-50% water changes and cleaning the sides of the tank every week (My brother suggested not to do many water changes to let bacteria grow). I am deciding between an Aimpoint T2, Romeo 4T, and an Eotech XPS3 for my 11.5" SD. I am not going to be breaking down doors or anything. This is going to be a ranch gun that I will also use to hunt a bit. I keep reading arguments about either a red dot or an eotech. Despite the low battery life, delam issues, and apparent criticism over the new HD model, parallax is something I really do not want to deal with.
