I am in the process of building a desk top where I want to laminate katalox and maple together, which means I need to resaw my 4/4 katalox into 1/8 slices (each 6' plank into 3 pieces, ranging from 2 to 7" wide. Total 5 planks so 10 cuts). I may include some resawing bloodwood into the project as well. I was pretty set on getting the woodslicer until I saw that a common complaint is that it dulls quickly.
