Hello, I have been trying to get out to Guadalupe Mountain for awhile now, and I finally found the weekend to do it. Unfortunately it’s a bit of a short notice and a busy weekend, and the main campsite at Guadalupe, Pine Springs, is all fully booked. I’m trying not to be discouraged, but I’m a bit worried on finding somewhere to camp. I was planning on hiking the Mountain, and then driving up to Carlsbad Caverns as well. Is the best option to just use some public land on the New Mexico side? Is there any other alternatives I don’t know about?
