I have a great car, but it’s starting to show its age and I want something more capable for towing, snow driving, and off-roading so I’m hoping to get a solid mid size truck in the future. I did the math and I can save to buy in cash within 2 years pretty comfortably, but I’ve never bought a car so I’m curious if that’s the best way to go. I assume paying 0 interest would be ideal but I figured I’d ask y’all if there’s an advantage I don’t know about besides getting the truck earlier to financing part of the cost?
