This isn't getting talked about enough. With all these layoffs and people having to restructure their lives, leaning on community is more important now than ever. In my research, I found that as these giants pull out of neighborhoods, local farmers' markets and peer-to-peer apps are actually seeing a 20% spike in use. Hey All! I am a former Prime Now Shopper Whole Foods back in 2018 until Amazon killed it when they decided to charge fees for WF pick ups! Anyway, losing my job at Amazon Fresh and landed interviews for cashier at 2 locations, one day apart. Anyway, do the cashiers get real training or is it all shadowing and throwing us out to the wolves? I miss being a WF shopper and will miss being an Amazon Fresh shopper too, honestly I would love to go back to being a WF shopper but NOT as seasonal. I loved my 4-8am shifts. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone, I run a food/drink business and 60% of my supply chain comes from my local fresh store and deliveries from fresh. I couldn’t imagine Amazon not continuing fresh delivery from a separate central warehouse. For context I live in Southern California. Does anyone know if Amazon will continue its fresh delivery program through larger warehouses, and still provides the same supply and prices?

I mean this is likely a ****** question given its food, but I just saw this video on TikTok where Amazon warehouse employees have to stand in a long line for metal detectors AFTER they clock out. Which I think should be illegal (time theft). I feel really bad for those people. That’s not right.

Every time I go to Amazon, these little things on the side are always popping up. I have no extensions, add-ons, or UserScripts installed to get this weird "Coupon" or "Cashback" add-on. I use Firefox with the latest version and DuckDuckGo for my searches. I want to get rid of it.
