A guide for Georgia for foreigners.

86d ago

Georgia is a great country to live as a remote worker. As a digital nomad, I lived in many countries, but Sakartvelo is my most loved one. Let me share some basic stuff so you feel more comfortable during your stay here as a foreigner. # Food Georgian cuisine is unique, versatile and tasty. You can find a cantine in every neighborhood and get a solid meal for $5. Fancy restaurants are $15/m meal. Georgian service at restaurants is below average. This may be frustrating for some. Most Georgians cook at home, so you will see a lot of small private whole food stores. Buy local food: chicken, cottage cheese (khacho - 25g protein/100g!), veggies, eggs, cheese. # Apartment You can rent 2 bed...

Way to eat to do IF

144d ago

I am a big believer in IF. Why? Because IF was my life. In my younger years I was focused on studies, projects, movies, people and food was just a fuel. I ate sparingly and never fretted about it. People who build their lives around meals were always “heavy and boring” for me. Until I became one of them. How did that happen? When people, projects, movies, events stopped being exciting and became more of a problem? When I started using good to feel better? It is hard to find this border which separated my healthy years from managing my life. Eventually I realized that I am heading not in the direction I want to go. I was overweight, addicted to eating, shopping, alcohol, caffeine, a...

Why recently have consistency at seattle area whole foods branches varies??

147d ago

For 10 years I have lived in the seattle,Washington area. Before the amazon takeover and even during the pandemic and for years after the amazon takeover most seattle area whole foods where pretty much the same. Over past 1 year to 6 months it appears that there are some great well managed whole foods stores in the seattle region to some poorly managed while foods stores in the seattle region. The store near me in Lynnwood,Washington is well run for example. The Lynnwood store has all departments up and running and the store is clean. The employees are happy. At the store on westlake Avenue in seattle which is known as south lake union the whole foods there was a different story. Every ...

More items in category CC or more cards with many categories

150d ago

Forgetting actual rewards numbers, benefits, and purchase limits, what would be your preference? Example, BoA and NFCU cards have more items in their categories. As a result, you could get more items rewarded for each card designated as category card. NFCU duo (Flagship and MoreRewards) only gives four categories of travel/transit, grocery, dining, gas with no FTF. The - Wells Fargo Autograph (no FTF) - Amex BCP/BCE, - Chase Amazon Prime(*, no FTF) - Capital One Savor (no FTF) The multiple category cards are missing one of top four categories of grocery, gas, or travel/transit. Citibank Strata (no FTF) covers four categories. Redstone Visa Signature covers a lot categories along with AA...

###The highly anticipated development is continuing to move forward, although tenants haven’t been officially announced. WESLEY CHAPEL — The latest plans for Wesley Chapel’s first Whole Foods Market have been filed with Pasco County planners, another step toward an upscale development that will be anchored by the popular grocery store. Whole Foods store must haves

170d ago

Whole Foods is a little over an HOUR away from me 🥲 My very pregnant self is making a trip there this week with my 2 kids and I really want to make it worthwhile as I probably won’t be back there for a few months! I used to shop biweekly there about 2 years ago but I was consuming dairy at that time. So my question is what are some must haves I need to look for? My kids do eat dairy, but they like my dairy free food for the most part so I’m looking for df snacks and frozen meals that’ll get me through early postpartum and stock my pantry with df things my kids can just grab and eat 🙂 Thank you all in advance!! ETA: I also prep food and freeze it so really give me any of your Who...

Where to buy (black) salsify vegetable?

208d ago

Hi everybody, I love to visit Ann Arbor once in a while, for many reasons. One of them being that you can get nearly anything there. With all the whole food stores and Farmer's Markets and small shops: do any of you know of and where I can get black salsify vegetable? Sometimes it's also called Spanish salsify. It should be in season now and I love eating it like asparagus or creamed like kohlrabi. I'd be grateful and happy for any pointers. Thank you all

5% Discount at Whole Foods w my Chase Whole Foods Card NOT Working. Anyone know how to fix that?

303d ago

I am an Amazon Prime member and have an Amazon/Whole Foods credit card issued by Chase. Until a few weeks ago, when I shopped at a Whole Foods store and paid with the above card, I received a 5% discount on my entire purchase. The last few weeks (doing the above), I have Not received the 5% discount. The last two times I didn’t receive the discount I mentioned it to the Whole Foods checkout person. I was referred to a manager in the store, who both times told me it is Not our issue, I need to call Amazon. I’ve called Amazon both times and the person (2nd time a manager at Amazon phone help) told me he was sure it is an issue at the Whole Foods store, and that I need to talk to someo...

Im a 43 year old male with autism. For 9 years I have shopped at the whole foods market in Lynnwood,Washington. Unfortunately 2 weeks ago the store manager at whole foods lynnwood made a decision to discontinue fresh squeezed in store made orange juice in the produce department. How to find a doctor who will work with me on testing?

322d ago

Basically what the title says. How do I find a doctor who knows about all this microbiome stuff? What type of doctor should I be looking for? A gastroenterologist? A rheumatologist or immunologist? Also, is insurance going to cover it? I can't afford to do any of it without insurance since I'm living on less than $1000 a month right now while waiting for social security disability to kick in. And my insurance won't pay for telemedicine, either. I have to stick with doctors in my plan's network. Also, where can I find "non cow" dairy? Other than goat milk chevre cheese and feta cheese, we don't have that kind of thing available where I live. No one around h...

Walgreens is a easy buyout target

328d ago

And I think Amazon should buy them. Drug stores have evolved from the time they first popped up and people love shopping there because its, convenient. Pros -Amazon is an online retailer with no real retail space yet. Their first stores weren't done right. -Amazon already has an online medical clinic(One Medical) and pharmacy business that could be easily integrated together. -Amazon with their analytics could easily stock each store and location with the right products from their online inventory making each store more profitable. -Amazon has high shipping/delivery costs and growing each year. people are starting to have a package theft issue. Your local store can easily becom...

Hot take: HEB is kind of expensive

410d ago

I don’t know if it’s just me but I usually shop at Whole Foods and surprisingly, it doesn’t cost as much as people say it does, probably thanks to Amazon and me being a Prime member. However, when I shop at HEB I end up spending more, maybe it’s because there’s still a lot of hype considering we don’t have many in North Texas so they can up charge, or because when it comes to vegan items most stores don’t carry the same selection as Whole Foods. My thoughts on it, but also Whole Foods store brand sells a lot of good vegan items also.
