Saw another WDYWT and commented these. They were my spiffys for a while before they became whatever shoes, then hiking shoes 😅 so they’re great for post-work pre-shower slippers. I might give em a wash and re-lace em at some point, but they’re already in the “on the way out” category 😔 These were brand new, straight from the Vans store in the mall. Been about 5 or 6 years and they’ve seen a lot of action. They’ve still got quite a few more miles in em, they’re not yet yardwork shoes 😅

I crossed one month mark of full-time van dwelling. I don’t see people mention how cluttered this tiny space gets in no time. If you are in a process of building your rig rn i would suggest to really think through about everything you will be using on a daily basis. What type of food are you going to eat, what containers are you going to use to store it, all the pots and pens you will be using, your toiletries, your daily clothes, shoes, laptop, journals, books, hobbies, window covers, etc. And then build drawers and cabinets around it. TLDR; not all Vans are created equal, just do a little research if you’re new to it! I want to preface by saying I’m not an expert, some of this info may not be to a tee in accuracy. But I’ve been buying vans for around half of my life so I’ll share what I know. I have been asked and I also see people wondering the difference between certain models of vans. Hi all! I'm trying to get back into running for the first time since being out of high school. I used to use Adidas Cloudfoam shoes and liked them since they were relatively flat and didn't cause pain. Then, I went to a store that scans your feet and recommends shoes for you. I was recommended and bought the Hoka Bondi 9s. They are the LEAST comfortable shoe I have ever worn. First, they rubbed the arch of my foot raw because the insole protruded a little too much. I’m mainly making this post bc (search feature wise) as a newbie I kept seeing info for big vans, but not much, and less detailed, for these smaller vans. I am getting so confused at all the different types. I think I should get the Ghost max, but am not sure if the Ariel may work better I have flat feet and need wide shoes. But I also have a bad ankle and my ankles turn in when I stand. I do not like anything touching in where arches are on the bottom of my foot or on the sides of my ankles. I tried on Gost max in the store and they did feel really comfortable, but I also had some sketchers and vans I loved then the pushed into the top of my ankle and can't wear them anymore.
