Posting here to see if any other Aussies have gotten a notification from their telcos that their ALT MIVE Style Folder 2 will be blocked. I am on Vodafone for reference. I have not tested to see if 000 calls will work (as we are told not to). Curious what others have experienced, as a lot of research and info I got for this phone was from 6+ Months ago, and Aussie Telcos have only had to have this rule in place since November. I have spoken to someone at the Vodafone store today and the only advice I have been given is to contact the manufacturer to see if they can update the software to allow emergency calls over 4G.

I moved to Italy last year and I signed up for a monthly Vodafone plan. I picked something with a lot of data and good roaming (I tend to travel a lot). I noticed recently that Vodafone has a new plan thats seems like it's better value for me so I wanted to switch. I tried in the app and online but I can't seem to figure it out. Is there a way to do it online, or do I need to go into a store/call them, or would it be easier to move my number to a different carrier and then back to Vodafone?

I ordered and activated a UK eSim card from Vodafone Travel. For some reason, they gave me a Netherlands number with the +31 calling code, and I'm unable to make calls or use data. When they entered my passport details, their system showed my passport number is already registered under a different name, so they couldn’t continue. I then contacted Optus online support and they saw the same thing. They told me to go to a physical store with my ID. Hey, I bought a used FritzBox6660 Cable without really researching beforehand (my bad). I connected it to my cable port, and the connection was established, at least that's what I thought. It took me to an activation page of my provider Vodafone and there I was told to put in my activation key. That threw an error. After some research I found out, that the box I bought was actually a rental box from the person I bought it from and therefore still connected to their account.
