Love Topshop Joni jeans, they fit like a glove! x Best skinny maternity jeans/jeggings please!20d agoMy favourite ever jeans are Topshop Joni jeans (which are super stretchy and more like jeggings IMO) and so I got some maternity Joni’s from Vinted. The legs are perfect but they just don’t stay up, and so I have a real saggy bum which I can’t stand the look of, plus it’s uncomfortable obviously. Can someone recommend some good ones that don’t fall down please? Thank you! What I learned from playing with ‘style systems’ in my 30s21d agoI have lurked on this sub for a while now 😂 and wanted to dive in and share with the group! I have recently been having so much fun again with fashion, but not without a lot of frustration along the way. I am a 36 year old woman living in the UK, and my late-teens and early-20s were during a time of pretty expressive style - when Topshop ruled and we wore sequin hot pants to the club! The past few years of fashion becoming grey/beige have really put me out of whack. I don’t really care about being ‘fashionable’, but don’t want what I wear to make me feel dated. I have always loved a system, so the ever-growing trend of systematising personal style has drawn my attention! Some h... Rant.28d agoMy recommendation feed is basically useless to me now unless something is nice enough and cheap enough to make me click on it to check what size it is. They’ve broken a cardinal rule of online selling by adding a step to the buying process. Whoever suggested this must have been high or colossally incompetent and everyone who approved it was asleep on the job. And it doesn’t even solve the problem they intended it to solve. I could be anything from an 8 to a 12 depending on the brand and - maybe more importantly- when the item was made. An H&M 8 made last year is pretty much the same size as an H&M 10 made 15 years ago in my experience. A Primark 8 from last year is closer... NSV ~3 years out66d agoI went in for my 2.5 year check-in with my surgeon a couple of weeks ago (I was sleeved Feb 2023, so it's really two years and nine months), and I knew I'd gained a kg or two. I was frustrated with myself, even while I reminded myself that muscle weighs more than fat, I've been continuing a steady exercise routine, my food intake has been consistent, and I'm working hard to hydrate (it's summer down here). Also that the jeans I bought 3 months ago that were snug are now loose (looser than just how-jeans-stretch-out loose). But for me, it's a lot easier said than believed. I was telling all of this to my surgeon while I put my jumper back on after being weighed... I’m afraid of neurotypical women77d agoLast week, in pursuit of my North Star: nervous system regulation, I returned to yin yoga after a year's hiatus. Envisaging a cosy atmosphere, soft blankets and bodies, all nesting away together in amiable silence under the guidance of an eminently welcoming instructor, I stepped into the building, conjuring my inner zen. After navigating a slightly awkward encounter with the receptionist and hearing my inner monologue start up with the “she thinks you’re too weird to be here” cacophony, I realised that I would have to face the nemesis of all socially awkward people: the changing rooms. I’d arrived prepared - ready to get straight onto the mat - but still had to put my coat a... I've just remembered the existence of some jeans I was obsessed with ~15 years ago. Am I too old for them now? Probably. Do I care? Not at all. They were faded black skinny jeans with a micro rosebud pattern all over. They looked very like the ones pictured, but roses instead of lips. I'm fairly confident they were Topshop. I've googled, checked Vinted, depop, eBay, and Vestiaire, to no avail. At this point I just want someone else to confirm they existed, but having a pair would be pretty fab too. Miley Cyrus’ 2013 striped jeans + loafers moment — style throwback133d agoThrowing it back to Feb 2013 — spotted on the set of Lil’ Kim & Tiffany Foxx’s “Twisted” video, Miley rocked vertical-striped Motel “Jordan” jeans, a cropped Topshop tee, and sleek black loafers with Chanel accessories. What I love is that this look walks the line between casual street and mod statement. The stripes nod to 60s and 90s revivals, while the loafers ground it in footwear realness. Would you wear something like this now? How do you modernize throwback looks with loafers or bold prints? Can someone recommend the best skinny jeans please? (womens)140d agoHi there, I am wondering where I can purchase a decent pair of skinny jeans that hold their skinnyness. No excess rolls or looseness. Just sticking to the leg like they are meant to! The amount that just give up is insane. I have quite slim legs in contrast to the rest of my body as not much of a bum so some jeans that hold up quite well is a must! I have tried fat face, New Look and ASOS. All disappointing. I used to like the Topshop Jenna skinny jeans but apparently they've changed since they went into admin Khloé Kardashian serving ice cream in Tom Ford padlock pumps (2016 throwback)143d agoBack in 2016, Khloé Kardashian balanced business and fun — scooping ice cream for fans at Coolhaus LA while serving major fashion. Her look included a House of CB satin trench, a Cosabella **** bodysuit, ripped Topshop jeans, Graziela jewelry, Victoria Beckham aviators, and Tom Ford’s iconic padlock pumps. Karrueche stepped out in a black Topshop bodysuit, ripped Zara jeans, a Dior Lady Dior tote, and Tom Ford padlock sandals, while Christina went classic with denim-on-denim under a leather jacket. Would you call this one of their most effortless street-style moments?
