Hi guys, I recently got offered a Retail Associate role at TK Maxx in Dublin, but the contract is only 8 hours a week. The manager told me TK Maxx contracts only 8 hours to all associates, and extra shifts are given based on availability and store needs, sometimes even across other Dublin branches. I’m just a bit unsure because obviously 8 hours a week alone isn’t enough to live on in Dublin. I’m not a student, so I’d be relying on this as my main job. So i just went to a TK Maxx store here in the center of Rotterdam and they sell a lot of Korean Skincare products. Mary & may, Round Lab, Arencia, Cosrx, Pyunkang Yung etc. I had my very impatient daughter with me, so couldn't compare the prices from the ones they ask at the webshops, but i know some products were cheaper. Where on earth can I find good quality pyjamas, that aren't a polyester/cotton blend or are paper thin cotton but also don't cost €100 ? I used to buy deadstock vintage men's pyjamas for this reason (good quality cotton) but they're harder to find. I had a look on vinted too. I can't wear synthetic materials. I have psoriasis and this is the GOAT for stopping the itch, lifting the flakes and keeping my scalp moisturised but not oily. Hello! Does anyone know if there is a better / bigger TK Maxx in berlin or surrounding areas for home department stuff? Sometimes I see stores with a super small section some have a bigger one but haven’t visited all stores. I've seen someone once post about buying a notebook on a deep discount in TkMaxx which is a clothing store, so I decided to peek myself and found a Lamy, a Leuchtturm (a bit expired, but who cares) and two Moleskines, and I paid $20 for all of them. Plus, in HalfPrice, another clothing discount store, I snagged a Paperblanks Ultra 240-page for about $20 as well. I wanted an Aurelia with that beautiful purple cover but it was already gone when I went today. So I got this one. It does have the Jesuit IHS symbol on it but I can always replace it with something of my own, it's not like this is a holy artifact or anything so it wouldn't be sacrilege I hope. Does anyone recognise this brand from the 90s? No labels in the jacket. Only ever saw 1 other person wearing the same jacket, mid 90s. Picked up from an outlet store way back when, and before tk maxx became a thing. Thanks
