Consumers and workers both need to start understanding that it is not the company who hurt you but the team members and security whose inability to separate work hours and respect for personal differences that you trusted who violate your human rights in your everyday work. Found my first one, apparently where elves are displayed is a tragedy.1d agoFirst Time Buyer in Scotland- How much mortgage is affordable on £37,000 salary?2d agoHi everyone, Sorry to write another “can I afford this mortgage” post, but I'm a first time buyer (26F) and I'm going it solo and I keep reading very mixed messages about affordability (probably because of how the housing market has screwed us youngsters in recent years making the old advice futile). I am planning to move back to Scotland (studied my MSc there) and buy a property in a year or two ideally. Edinburgh would be the eventual dream but alas for now I'd be looking at Falkrik, Dunfermline, Fife, some parts of East/Mid Lothian, Stirlingshire, or furthest Glasgow (commutable to Edinburgh/ Glasgow in under 1.5 hours max, ideally under 1 hour). In a year or so, my... Wolt grocery delivery5d agoSeeking advice on where to order groceries from. We are arriving in Prague on Christmas Eve and are aware that many places are closed for two days. We do have dinner reservations etc. we wanted to get groceries and were told to use the Wolt app. Is the best choice Albert, Tesco or Wolt Market for basics? Will these ingredients work well for a first time ramen?7d agoThis is my first attempt at trying to make ramen and i tried following [this guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3_tcQiyGG8). I am not very good at cooking in general but my Malaysian friend took me out to some ramen places and i have fallen in love with the food. (hoping this doesn't turn out badly lol) Some of the foods here i have had to substitute with others since i couldn't get them in the shop. People have given me varying opinions on wether i should Shoyu soy sauce instead of the regular. Some have said it would be fine but i may as well check here. I forgot to get the sake at Tesco's so it isn't in the pictured. But [Would this even suffice for it or should ... As long as it looks right (very pale) and tastes right (crisp, dry), they’re happy. Getty Images There is a very good chance that, at some point this summer, you will find yourself with a cold glass of pale, dry rosé in your hand. This isn’t just a wild guess: I’ve got solid stats to back it up. According to Wine Australia senior analyst Angelica Crabb, rosé... Waterloo Station's extremely outdated bus map9d agoAt the entrance to the Underground station by platforms 18 and 19, on one of the walls there is this very old bus map. I'm not sure why it's still there. Sandwiches – best in Aberdeen?11d agoOK folks, where is the best to go for a decent sandwich in Aberdeen? I’ve been torturing myself watching Philadelphia cheesesteak roast pork/ hoagie reviews on Youtube and now I’m feeling the urge for a good, well made sandwich. I’m not wanting Subway or meal-deal Tesco/ M&S with a few pitiful slices of cold meat in between 2 thin slices of bread but a good baguette or roll brimming with lots of meat/ cheese and variety? A long (long) time ago the little Italian/ deli on St Andrews St used to make great chicken parm sandwiches or folds with Italian meat, something like that – any suggestions? Maybe I’m identifying a gap in the market. . . Ely Market Vendor: “The Business” 1998-2003 Still there?14d agoMy family and I lived in Ely from 1998-2003. My wife and had two children and raised them in three different rentals during that time. One of many beloved memories we have is the Ely Market vendor “The Business” which was a caravan style food trailer with a flat top serving hot sandwiches off that grill. Our families favorite hands down was the sausage sandwich served on a chunk of baguette often right from the Tesco. The grill was run by a family with the Father serving the most amazing sausage which he told me many times was made by a butcher “just for him” located in Norwich. Over the years they learned about my family and we were loyal customers. Everyone in my family loved t... Trent Share Price Crashes to 52-Week Low at ₹3930: Buy Opportunity or Trap?15d agoTrent's stock just hit a scary low of around ₹3,961 today, down over 40% this year while the market climbed. Investors feel the pain— is this the dip to grab or a sign to run? Let's break it down simply, like chatting over chai. Why the Big Crash Now? Weak sales growth hit hard, with revenue slowing despite new stores in smaller towns. Demand dipped in Tier-2/3 cities, margins squeezed from higher costs like depreciation, and same-store sales (LFL) lost steam. Broader market jitters and sector woes piled on, turning this Tata star into Nifty's worst performer. Unable to reduce fixed costs, need help!15d agoHI Everyone, Really need help - lately I have been unable to save or do anything. I know it's also partly because there have been some back to back out of budget expenses and now I am really struggling. Some examples; I had to renew my visa (used investments ¬£3.1K) then applied for my wife's VISA (0% Credit Card ¬£4.5K), Some home stuff, exams' fee, flights, etc. I had to take advantage of billing cycles so the expense for that month doesn't go above the total salary. I clear my cards monthly except the )5 credit card. Reading Budget guides and different posts, I feel my fixed costs are really high and I am unable to put any money down in savings or investments.
