I remember when I got my license in 2010 most cars were hatchback and estates and the suv market was really only starting to expand with the Qashqai. Nowadays its actually rare to see a hatchback car being driven and in my experience the majority of cars on the road are huge suv vehicles. I understand the job market is not particularly good, but there seems a crazy numbers of young people seemingly unable to get any sort of job. Just curious if people in this position have done the type jobs I associated with my teenage years and gained that experience in the world of work. For me it was: Paperboy (probs not even a job anymore) Potwash Labourer Waiter Tesco Bar staff at Wetherspoons All part time or over summer before I finished studying. Hi all, is there anywhere I can buy a vegan cake over the counter? Tesco and M&S used to do them but don’t seem to anymore. Any local bakeries do them around D8/12 or surrounds? Sweet Almond looks amazing but it seems you have to collect from their stall at markets and I just don’t think I’d have time to do that. Any other recommendations or suggestions welcome. Hi all, Me and my husband are trying to budget better and recently looked at our grocery spending. On average, we’re spending £800++ per month. We usually do a weekly bulk shop at Sainsbury’s, plus smaller top-ups from Tesco, M&S, and other shops. We also buy some groceries and protein from Grainger Market. We’re hoping to cut this down to around £400–£500 per month. Does that sound realistic? Or are we currently overspending?
