Hello, I'm currently redoing two first floor bedrooms - I did all the prep like screwing down the loose chipboard flooring, applied patch self-leveller, sanded away dried paint plaster and leveller, put down sound insulating overboards (basically MDF with 8mm felt on the bottom), and was laying out a layer of acoustic rubber on top. Based in the UK and looking for a mask to use with Procion Dye. I would rather not buy from amazon, and since I will only be dyeing as a hobbyist, I am reluctant to invest in a 3M half mask and filters. Hi all, I’m currently looking to buy a circular saw blade, however, a little confused about bore size. I’ve got a basic ryobi saw with a 165mm blade, which states a 16mm bore size on it. Looking for a replacement, on screwfix as an example, I see only 15.87/15.88/20/30mm bore sizes listed for a 165mm blade but no 16mm. (lots of 16mm options for other blade diameters) Is 16mm just an approximation, and in reality I need something like a 15.88 or 15.87? Or is the only solution to use a 20mm blade with a reduced ring? My old cordless angle grinder has packed up. I see that Screwfix no longer do them with the battery, but instead it's sold 'bare'. Does anyone know whether a bare unit comes with a case? I cannot see any mention of one on the website. I asked in store and they didn't know, and didn't have one in stock to check.

Today I needed several things, I went to Toolstation, Screwfix, B&Q and Wickes. Honestly I gave up resorted to Amazon ( I don’t have Prime because it’s all free delivery and comes on the same van). I really did try but what a nightmare, oh Wickes and B&Q offered to order to store which would take a week. I’ve never felt so defeated trying use the shops we have. I could have got 1 or 2 things from each shop but that is a laugh and a half.

hi all. so as per title the gearbox on the front door failed today. would anyone know where one can buy such a thing. screw fix does them but 2-3 day collection in store. have checked builders merchant to no avail. Hi all, I have a LAP dimmer light system installed with a LAP dimmer switch. Wanted to change it to something smart where I can control it from my phone. Purchased from my local ScrewFix store a BG Smart Dimmer switch which claimed to be compatible with HomeKit but this was not the case. The BG app is very slow and sluggish, takes very long to connect to the phone and does not integrate with iOS at all. Can anyone recommend something which I can fit to my original switch that will allow for iOS HomeKit integration so I can get rid of this annoying BG Smart Switch. Hey folks, took me some time but I finally figured out how to create a custom google map for one of the Test routes in Finglas based on ADM's youtube videos. One of the more difficult routes IMO. Feel free to use it for practice. It cannot give you step by step turn based navigation. I suggest asking your accompanying driver use it to give you directions while you drive. I also split the route into 3 parts as it can get confusing with the overlapping directions if using the same road twice. Just check/uncheck the parts as you finish them. Hi looking to run 2 sets of Ethernet cable to my home office run side by side around 10 meters do I need shielded stuff? I'm redoing the sockets also and would like to terminate close/next to my wall power socket. The cable will be fairly close to my UK 3 pin plug.
