Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Pret Latest Community Discussions About PretAll Butter Croissants: a Love Story told in 10 pictures2d agoFinally got my hands on the famous bulk, frozen bakery croissants! $59.99 for the case, there are 204 croissants, which makes these lil nuggets of joy less than twenty five cents each. And... O. M. G. Y'all... Y'ALL!!! These have seriously ruined all other croissants for me. I am forever changed. Eating one of these, freshly baked, is what I imagine eating one while actually IN France must be like. I've had the case 3 days and I can't stop thinking about them. I'm obsessed. I can die happy... and considering the saturated fat content in one of these bad boys I probably will! Some interesting stats10d agoMade a no-nonsense EV charging speed finder for UK drivers13d agoFinding good public chargers can be a bit of a hassle — prices vary, speeds vary, and apps can be cluttered or require you to have an accounts — so I built a simple tool to help you [find EV chargers](https://resolvo.uk/ev-charging/london) across the UK The idea is to make it quick to compare nearby EV charging points — location, connector type and speed — so you can pick the best option without bouncing between half a dozen apps. It feels timely because EV charging infrastructure is expanding fast across the UK, but there are still lots of questions around cost differences between networks, roaming, and how best to navigate the public charging landscape. I know there are other ap... The email backlog sits at 247 unread messages. Tomorrow's board deck remains half-finished. Richardson, who founded a Series A fintech startup in 2023, is facing what Oxford Economics termed in their 2024 labour cost analysis as "the London Premium Trap": the intersection of eye-watering overhead and diminishing marginal returns. Three months ago, she made a decision that board members initially questioned. She hired two full-time virtu... Do any of you guys eat at higher end fast food chains?22d agoHere in Germany all the higher end fast food chains are currently failing and I understand why. They're ridiculously overpriced for what they're delivering. Five Guys opened up one or two years ago and you pay around 20€ for a menu. I have to walk 500m down the street and get fantastic smash burgers for 15€. It's even worse with Chipotle prices they're are ridiculous, it's fast food for restaurant prices. 4,90€ for 0,2 L drinks and the food is between 15€-20€. For 25€ you get a decent restaurant meal. 3 tacos cost 16,50€ and I can get 3 for 12,50 made by Mexicans and made with ingredients that are hard to get here. It's the same with Dean and Da... If thats the case, and the box is full, are cars meant to give priority to bikes stuck waiting in the lane when the lights go green? I was almost pincered between a van and a right-turning bus over waterloo bridge this morning, which got me thinking Mother being Shamed AGAIN in Pret A Manger for Breastfeeding37d agoMother being Shamed AGAIN in Pret A Manger for Breastfeeding37d agoThis time she was told to breastfeed in the TOILET! In fact, it's an example of how so many restaurants out there are owned by a relatively small number of holding companies. Einstein Brothers was formed in the eighties from, of all places, Boston Market, and created by combining a number of smaller, regional bagel chains that were basically doing the same things in their own areas.
