Traveling Luton > O2 Arena > Luton on the same day tips?

1d ago

TLDR: things to consider when traveling Luton > O2 arena on a Sunday afternoon and then back after a concert? Ideas of where i could store a backpack for a few hours along the way? Will the Jubilee run until all concertgoers get on or is the last train really at midnight? Do i have to buy train tickets beforehand or is it better to get them at the airport? I bought a ticket to a concert at The O2 Arena on a Sunday in may and i am now having a bit of anxiety over navigating the London public transport system. It’s my first time in London, second time in the UK so it’s a bit overwhelming. I’m supposed to land at Luton Airport at 16 on a Sunday. From what info i found the ea...

One Fine Every Minute: Why New Zealand's Speeding Revenue Has Never Been Higher. And Why That Should Worry Everyone...

10d ago

In 2025, New Zealand Police issued 538,192 speeding fines. One every 52 seconds, every hour, every day for the entire year. The total revenue was $54.2 million. It was the highest fine count in 16 years. The government that approved this enforcement regime is the same one that raised speed limits against the advice of its own agency, its own engineers, and the economic analysis it commissioned and then quietly buried. The numbers from the NZ Herald's 18 March report are stark. Officers issued 538,192 infringement notices in 2025, up from 461,000 in 2024 and 402,000 in 2023. That is a 34 per cent increase in two years. Revenue collected was $54.2 million at an average penalty of aroun...

No signal but working mobile data?

15d ago

I bought an iPhone 3GS yesterday, and restored it to 6.1.6 before downgrading to 5.1.1 with Legacy iOS Kit. Everything works fine except for calls and texts. What's weird, though, is that mobile data works fine. It's not an issue with the network, as we still have 2G in the UK, and the same sim card works fine in other 2G/3G phones. I'm on iOS 5.1.1 on O2/giffgaff and on modem firmare 05.16.08. It is jailbroken, but I dont have any tweaks that could affect the modem afaik and it does this when it's not jailbroken too.

This keeps popping up when im trying to change my tarriff

I’ve tried everything i can think of, ive waited days to see if it was a bug theyve been sorting out, logged off & on again, deleted the app but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Iphone 16 Pro BUGGING out!

26d ago

So a few days ago, I noticed my mobile data has essentially been deleted from my Iphone? I ran diagnostics, it said to restart my phone (didn't work), I tried resetting my network data (same problem)... My network provider (O2) it says my phone is active, my wifi works when I'm connected but the 4 lines just move around. I tried taking out my SIM card and putting back in correctly same problem... I thought maybe to factory reset my phone, it's saying I need to update my Iphone to activate it. However, I tried to to this yesterday and it just got my stuck on the 'Verifying Update' status because of a poor wifi connection (is what I'm assuming and according to w...

Will I get better reception switching from ASDA mobile to Vodafone?

34d ago

I've been on ASDA mobile for years and after a really bad experience the other day in London where I just couldn't get signal, I've decided to switch. ASDA mobile use Vodafone's masts, of course, but they still offer the best connectivity in the UK. So – do Vodafone arbitrarily limit the functionality of ASDA mobile users to get them to switch over to Vodafone's overpriced plans or would my service be the exact same? If it's Voda's service I have the issue with, is my only real option O2? Thanks for any help.

The Government Paid O2 to Monitor 25 Million Phones to Track EV Drivers. Nobody Asked Permission.

37d ago

The Department for Transport commissioned O2 to trawl the web browsing habits and movement data of 25 million devices, including children's, to identify electric vehicle owners. The study cost £602,000, ran for two years, and was quietly published this week. Somewhere in the past two years, a version of you was being identified, tagged and tracked by the British government based on whether you visited an EV-related website twice in a month. Not a suspected criminal. Not a person of interest to law enforcement. A driver who looked at a car charging app or browsed an EV comparison site on their phone, and was consequently flagged by a government-commissioned surveillance programme ...

En route pour 1 millions! La révolution Hgraf, le graphene parfait

37d ago

HydroGraph Clean Power (HG.CSE / HGCPF.OTCQB) – In a world where geopolitical tensions are escalating, copper and silver prices are skyrocketing (copper at over $13,000/ton, silver in a structural deficit of 200 million ounces/year), arms spending is climbing (global defense budgets increasing by 10-15% annually), the space industry is accelerating (space market at $1 trillion by 2040), and energy shortages are becoming critical (green energy demand +30% by 2030), it's time to zoom in on a technology that could change everything: HydroGraph Clean Power's pure graphene. I'm not here for baseless hype – this is a complete data development based on verified facts, scalabili...
