Lloyds pharmacy?

4d ago

I saw that Lloyds pharmacy is doing mounjaro and was wondering if this would be good to use? I’m currently using MyBMI It says €25 for prescription on Lloyds but I can’t find how much the actual Mounjaro would be, I’m on 5mg if anyone knows the full price please?

What happens when you reach a healthy weight?

9d ago

I just started through Lloyds pharmacy, and I’m excited! I’m curious of other people’s experiences, if you reach a healthy weight or become “fit” do they make you stop the medication?

Still ok to use this jab? Can I claim for this at all? Lloyds Pharmacy (however not their fault)

14d ago

I ordered from Lloyds which was a good and easy to follow process. They shipped it thursday and was next day delivery so should have arrived Friday. The Royal Mail tracking just never updated and it didn’t come until this morning. The ice packs were melted completely, still cold but not freezing. The jab it’s self felt chilled. Will this still be ok to use?

I think mounjaro is just way too strong for me

17d ago

I am 26f 5'3 85kg. I started mounjaro last Sunday (7th) and yesterday (9th) I had a massive panic attack. Thankfully it was in the opticians, and i already have panic disorder so I know how to deal with it. But I feel so weak and sad today (10th). I think the problem is that im not actually diabetic and I only want to lose 10-15kg, so mounjaro is overkill for me. If anything it seems to be making blood sugar more unstable since I can barely eat, my issue was never meals, it was evening snacking. I have written ti my prescriber Lloyds pharmacy to ask if we can find a better alternative for me like wegovy, because i genuinely feel so depressed less than a week in and I dont think thats ri...

MetroLink Judicial Review- McCabe Pharmacies group is an applicant!

25d ago

According to the Irish Times today, the holding company that owns McCabe Pharmacy is an applicant in the JR case lodged against Metrolink. I have a monthly script with the local McCabes. I feel awful knowing I have supported a company that could help frustrate this project for another few years and cost the state how lever many more million. I’ll be changing pharmacies in the morning.

All the GPhC inspection outcomes in one table

40d ago

I've put all the pharmacies in one table and ordered them by their last inspection date. It's interesting, there's a few that have been inspected recently and met all the standards at the initial inspection. I think we'll add this to a wiki page and keep it updated in case anyone has a burning interest. I might make a list of CQC info for the CQC registered clinics. |Company|GPhC|Pharmacy|Initial Inspection|Original Outcome|Reinspection| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| |Pills2U|[9012634](https://inspections.pharmacyregulation.org/pharmacy/detail/pills2u-9012634)||2025-10-14|Standards met|| |PillSphere|[9012694](https://inspections.pharmacyregulation.org/pharmacy/detail/pill-spher...

Switching from Lloyds pharmacy (UK)

76d ago

Hi everyone, I stupidly started my journey with Lloyds pharmacy and they are insanely more expensive than other places I have realised now. Especially after the price hike. I want to switch to somewhere else, but the only problem is is that by BMI is now in the overweight category and not the obese category so a couple of places I tried will not take me on. Does anyone know a reasonably priced provider who will take on someone who is no longer obese? The Price hike is really affecting me, but I’m not ready to finish my journey yet !!

got a tens unit and im obsessed

79d ago

got one of the lloyds pharmacy migraine tens units since theyre going cheap (~£7 on amazon b/c theyve been discontinued) and oh my god. this is life changing. my abortive use has gone down so much since getting it, and i can treat my migraines earlier b/c i'm not worrying so much about if its really a migraine and playing triptan roulette. plus i really really enjoy the way it feels. its like a brain massage and i almost look forward to using it. was on a flight today and felt a migraine brewing... used the tens machine and 30 minute later im feeling right as rain. Last time i got a migraine on a flight i felt like death warmed over even AFTER i took my triptans. havent really ...

Pride in Health prescriptions.

106d ago

If anyone has gotten a private prescription from PIH in Scotland and went to a pharmacy for it what is the cheapest one to go to? I heard that some chemists charge more but I don’t know how true that is, so far all I know is that Boots would give me the 3 month prescription for £166 but i wanted to know if the other options (Lloyds pharmacy, Asda pharmacy, etc.) was any cheaper or just the same?

Just in case anybody is a Lloyds Pharmacy customer

120d ago

I was not expecting to see this when I checked idly today. 12.5mg and 15mg have been out of stock for a good few weeks. They've always been slightly more expensive than some other providers but kudos to them for not price gouging now they seem to have a little more stock again. They haven't mentioned anything about post-September 1 prices only that they're prioritising stock for existing customers and previous prices. Unfortunately they are not taking new orders but this feels like a potential last hurrah so wanted to highlight in case anyone else was using them. I have no idea how much stock they have or whether this is real, feels a bit too good to be true considering recent...

Mounjaro UK Prices Soar 170% — Let’s Talk Cheaper Options, Stock Updates & Alternatives

121d ago

If you’re using Mounjaro (tirzepatide) in the UK, you’ve probably already heard the news — private prices are skyrocketing. Starting 1 September 2025, the highest-dose private prescription has jumped from around £122 to £330 per month — that’s a 170% price hike 😱. NHS patients aren’t affected due to a pricing agreement, but private buyers are being hit hard. Pharmacies like Boots, Lloyds, Superdrug, and Asda are already limiting stock because of massive demand, and reports of supply shortages are increasing quickly. ⸻ 💷 What’s Happening & Why • Massive price hike → Eli Lilly has raised UK prices to “align globally,” matching other developed countri...

Will I be able to switch from monjouro to wegovy if my BMI is under 30?

133d ago

Hi UK based soul here. Just trying to plan what to do if the price rise that has been announced is really as high as the news says it might be, as there is no way that I will be able to afford to continue on MJ. I've been on MJ since January and have lost 32 pounds. I'm about 40% of the way to my goal and am now hovering at 30 BMI. I've recently moved up to 10mg. I was due to reorder anyway so have ordered a 12.5mg pen which has just arrived today. I was planning on eeking out my doses through counting clicks but with the 2 doses I have left of my old pen plus dropping the new 12.5mg pen I will be ok for about 8 more doses. I've been contacted by my provider (lloyds...

Switching Pharmacies

151d ago

Hi, I'm currently on my 3rd pen of 7.5mg through Lloyds Pharmacy. They've just told me that they are switching dispensary services to Pharmacy2u which got me thinking why am I paying Lloyds prices when they aren't even dispensing it. So question for anyone who has switched providers did you have to start back on 2.5mg or could you go right to your current dose? Does anyone know how much Pharmacy2u charges for 7.5mg as I can't find anything on the website?

Lloyds Pharmacy Online Doctor ow using Pharmacy2U

178d ago

I’ve been using Lloyds Pharmacy for my first 2 pens. Ordered from them again for my 3rd pen and got an e-mail from Royal Mail for my delivery which I thought was odd as they used Evri for my first two. Package arrives yesterday, open the box and it just looks different. Open the packaging and my Mounjaro is wrapped in a blue carrier bag with what was an ice pack around it within the wadding and poly bag. Thought this was super strange and that there was also no pen needles or wipes. Go to throw the box away and see a little medicine box loose inside that is Pharmacy2U branded. Messaged Lloyds Pharmacy querying it and they replied: “LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor has recently partnered wi...

Online pharmacy regrets (maybe).

ZAVA/asda pharmacy So I’m about 12 weeks in. Everything seems to be going well, I’ve got over my apprehension over stabbing myself with a needle, I’ve come to terms with my boredom eating, swapping out cake to fruit and trying my hardest to log my food via the NutraCheck app. I’m two stone down and B.M.I. from 43 to 40. And here comes the rain. I was with Lloyds pharmacy, and at 5mg with both my partner and myself on the jab, it’s just shy of £390 a month. So we shopped around and found Asda, which was going to save us over £100 a month, plus we could pick it up from the pharmacy which is a 5 minute walk away. Happy days. We did the consultation last Saturday morning and we’...
