My roommate was trying to add a new camera to our existing Homebase 3 system with multiple cameras and a doorbell. Somehow HB 3 seems to have reset during that process. It vanished from our apps and after I re-added it now there are no cameras paired with it and no settings or anything. I'm pretty sure I know how this will play out but I'll ask anyway if there is a way to get the cameras and doorbell back without having to bring each of them back in the house to manually re-pair them. We have an external hard drive inserted in the HB 3 which still has hundreds of GB used, but I'm pretty sure that's only stored videos that won't help me now. And we have two old Ho...

my store uses homebase for scheduling and pay. yesterday morning i was able to clock in just fine, but when trying to clock out i opened the app and i was met with an error message. i restarted the app a couple more times and still got the same. i have since then deleted and redownloaded the app which sent me to the log in screen. i put in my info and it says “something went wrong, try again” i did a hard reset on my phone, same problem. then i tried to log in on the website instead. i log in, it loads for a moment, then just refreshes the page for me to log in again. i am still getting all my notifications through the app as normal as though it was working correctly. i have notified m...

I have a Eufy C31 doorbell and I need a chime. Should I get a Homebase 3 or a Chime? I might get additional cameras at some point in the future and I like the idea of storing the video footage safely inside the house, but I’ve read that the homebase chime is quieter than the Eufy Chime. Is the homebase worth the additional cost and possibly quieter chime? Or is the Eufy Chime sufficient for my needs?

I am losing sensitivity in the cameras, when they were first installed and activated they capture many more alerts and now after say 3 months they no longer sense much motions, I was trying to troubleshoot by turning off the camera and turning it back on, turning off motion sensing and turning back on, going through different modes of Optimize surveillance - Optimize battery - Customized recording. One thing I also tried was to remove the camera from the app, and later on adding it back. I noticed when I did that, all the events previous recorded and stored on the homebase disappeared. hello, wanted to put a feeler out to see if anyone has experienced their camera setup affecting their homes network upload speed. my place has a total of 5 cameras (e30), a doorbell(e340) chime and a homebase 2. lots of activity outside gets picked up (so much so that i had to drop sensitivity to 1 and make the motion detection area tiny for each cam). I have a HomeBase 3 with a 1 TB SSD, four cameras with continuous footage, entry sensors on my doors and windows, and a free trial to the cloud service. My understanding is that the camera footage is being stored both on the HomeBase and the cloud. If a burglar breaks in, the entry sensors will trigger an alarm that plays from the HomeBase. In theory, that would lead them right to it and that could unplug or destroy it. At this point, are the cameras still sending footage to the cloud, or is my entire system now offline? Sorry, just bought a home base and struggling to get any of my cameras to store videos on my homebase3. I was under the impression I would simply add to my existing Wi-Fi network and redirect my video feed to it. Do I really need to abandon my wifi mesh and connect them directly to the homebase? This would cause yet more 2.4ghz congestion which I do not need.

With the Starlancer Max and Starfarer Gemini in sale, was thinking about getting one and using it as a homebase to QT back to after doing either bunker missions or mining with a prospector. Seems they both hold a lot of cargo, but the Gemini holds more cargo and can also "carry" a prospector if I remove the fueling bags? Is this true? Is it possible to use a Gemini and carry the prospector on one said and a smaller ship on the other to knock out bunker missions while leaving the Gemini in orbit? Can I store unused prospector bags in the cargo area to swap and continue mining for larger hauls? Also seems the Gemini would be a better choice for pve missions due to its fire power...

I am looking to buy a privacy good smart doorbell. But I am worried that if there’s an intruder, they can just capture the homebase with stored videos and render it useless. How do you deal with that?
