Hey everyone, I'm using Buyee for the first time and I had a couple of questions. First, should I use EMS or Buyee air delivery? I've read that FedEx/DHL are sometimes finicky with Buyee parcels and sometimes ask for extra documentation like itemized lists or manufacturer identification codes (in addition to the regular customs form) to release parcels from customs. Is EMS a more streamlined and hassle free shipping option? I wouldn't mind longer wait times just as long as there is less hassle. Also I know the UK is strict with importing batteries, will my watch be seized for containing a (dead) battery? Thank you in advance.

I have been really happy with Quad Lock mounts and cases, but their shipping times are simply ridiculous. **12 days for domestic shipping?** I could drive to New Jersey and back to Washington in that time. I think it is time to switch to a different mount system. I have been looking at SP Connect - any feedback?

i sent a parcel to my parents from uk but now its stuck at customs. DHL is supposed to be carrying out custom clearance but for some reason my tracking shows an external broker needs to do this and i don’t have one. DHL is saying something along the lines of its more than 2 kg of goods so we can’t process it u need third party. this is my first time dealing with this so Im just confused on what to do. im scared they’re going to confiscate it. any advice?

I purchased a gold coin from Germany on eBay. The coin is 0.9999 fineness, is 0.25 troy ounces, is issue by Niue and I paid a 30% premium on it. To me, this means that there is no import VAT due. I have also confirmed with the seller that they used the correct commodity code (7118 90 00). I have also confirmed with HRMC's website that the coin is VAT exempt (HMRC VAT Notice 701/21A). I've sent a parcel from the UK to France but its been held in BZ 5 sorting office in Germany now for 2 weeks.. Ive contacted Royal Mail who asked me to contact Deutsche Post but I've had no luck with them so far. I only speak English, what are my options? I used international tracked and posted it on the 29th of January. The parcel is worth £135 and I'm only insured up to £50.
