Not sure if this is allowed here but a couple years ago I bought a Wustof 8” chef knife, my ex had one and it was impressed with how sharp it was compared to my ****** knife set I got from Tj maxx. I went to a local cooking shop, they had the classic and the ikon line, looking back I wish I went with the Ikon. I preferred the handle and price of the classic but the bolsterless Ikon is superior in my mind now. I wish I had done a bit more research at the time but I was just so excited to get a new knife. I've seen someone once post about buying a notebook on a deep discount in TkMaxx which is a clothing store, so I decided to peek myself and found a Lamy, a Leuchtturm (a bit expired, but who cares) and two Moleskines, and I paid $20 for all of them. Plus, in HalfPrice, another clothing discount store, I snagged a Paperblanks Ultra 240-page for about $20 as well. My mom bought some truffles from TJ Maxx or somewhere similar last Christmas, and still randomly brings up how good they were. I can’t remember the brand, or what the box looked like. I’d really like to get her some nice ones for Mother’s Day, but I’m not a big candy person so I don’t know where to start looking. Does any have any recommendations? I purchased the bigger sized “Boatkin” from Macy’s, and then I found it last week. This week, I found the smaller Boatkins at Marshall’s. Ross had the Dooney & Bourke Florentine, TJ Maxx had the Kurt Geiger and Kate Spade bags, and Marshall’s had the beaded crab and caviar bags.

I know it’s normal, but how do you handle it? My 4 year old gives a fight for the simplest things, in the store she does not behave or listen. The other day we went to tj maxx, and they have the option between carts and those little mini carts with wheels kind of thing and she wants that one to use the handle and drag around. I told her no, I needed the bigger cart. She tells me no, and starts getting the cart out anyways. I don’t even remember how I stopped it, but I have to threaten her with something I’m not gonna do and I know that isn’t good, but when I have to shop and she’s acting that way I do whatever I can to calm her down.
