Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Target Store Latest Community Discussions About TargetDaily E-Commerce News - eBay ends buyer's remorse | Apr 14th, 20263d agoHi r/talkshopify — here's today's ecommerce news recap from [Talk Shop](https://www.letstalkshop.com/ecommerce-newsletter). >**STAT OF THE DAY:** 35 million customers have now joined Lowe’s loyalty ecosystem as the retailer aggressively expands into subscriptions and youth programming. This massive data pool, highlighted in recent company filings, signals a shift from transactional hardware sales to long-term lifecycle marketing. For merchants, this underscores that the real battle in 2026 isn't over a single sale, but over owning the customer's entire home-improvement budget through recurring engagement. --- ## Story of the Day **eBay** is putting a defini... Non-tipping customer and Shipt bundling all her orders6d agoSome of the other shoppers and I and my community needs some help… We have a customer that nobody wants to do her orders because she does not tip and she lives about 25 minutes from the target store where she orders so her orders are not worth it. Shipt has started bundling her with the large tipping customers per usual. She is putting orders in for six or seven items so they bundle her with an order that has about 35 items on it. OK no big deal. Here’s where the big deal happens… Before you get to the store, she has added approximately 25 items to her order and she has now done this three times in the past week. It has almost made the shoppers that have done her orders late. I have a ... Koia Brings Its Viral Protein Pop to Target — From TikTok Shop to Brick-and-Mortar Retail7d agoKoia's clear protein line — previously a DTC and TikTok Shop exclusive — is making the jump to Target stores nationwide. The brand is also launching a Target-exclusive flavor called Golden Whip to differentiate the retail partnership. This is a textbook DTC-to-retail expansion playbook: build buzz on social commerce, prove demand, then leverage that traction for major retail placement. "Koia protein drink" pulls 3,100 monthly searches and "protein pop" another 800, showing strong consumer awareness heading into this launch. **Key Points:** * Koia's clear protein line expands from DTC/TikTok Shop to Target retail stores * Target-exclusive flavor "Golde... Would you play a TARGET Liminal Horror Game?10d agoWould you play a Target Liminal Horror Game? I’ve been working on a concept for a psychological horror game set inside a fictional retail store called REDMART. You’re trapped in a store that feels completely normal at first, but the longer you stay, the more it starts to feel wrong. There are no employees, no clear objective, and no obvious exit. The game is mostly free exploration with light puzzles, but the focus is on atmosphere and unease rather than jump scares. The environment itself is the main source of horror. Aisles subtly change when you’re not looking. Mannequins move when unobserved and sometimes begin to follow or chase you. The PA system starts making announcements th... Nothing burger recovery for those needing reassurance.14d agoI’m grateful for this community and recognize that many of us use it to check our own stories and anxieties against. I thought I would be another voice of ”You got this” and “You lay your worries down” because it’s not all doom and gloom. about me: So I’m 41, with two teens with disabilities and a husband and too many pets. I’m a SAHP and my husband and I fill pretty heteronormative/traditional roles - I do most of the shopping, cooking, cleaning, appointment/class/school driving, general organizer of chaos. Don’t worry- I’m not crushed by the patriarchy… I just grew up without attentive parents and really wanted to change that story for my kids (and we couldn’t ... 4 Companies That Failed International Expansion On Their First Attempts31d ago# Uber in China When **Uber** expanded into China in 2014, it followed its typical aggressive expansion model: * Move fast. * Heavily subsidize rides. * Capture market share quickly. But because Uber didn’t slow down and first assess the nuances of operating in the Chinese market, it stumbled. One reason was that Uber faced intense competition from **Didi Chuxing**, a local rival with stronger government relationships, better local market insight, and a more tailored product experience. Other challenges Uber faced included: * Complex regulatory and political dynamics * Fierce subsidy-driven price wars * Consumer preference for local digital ecosystems Uber reportedly lost billi... Target company policy states that they strictly prohibit activities that interfere with a distraction-free shopping environment which includes playing loud music or using Boom boxes. Such actions are categorized as disruptive behavior. This store should follow company policy. Does anyone else think target stores should follow their own policy? New rumored Chick-Fil-A location at 320 Greenville Blvd SE, at the old Mr. Tire location38d agoChick-fil-A may be preparing to put another restaurant in Greenville as the city continues to score economic investments. The Atlanta-based chicken chain purchased roughly 1.8 acres at 320 SW Greenville Blvd. for $1.4 million last last month, according to Pitt County deed records. The land sits in the middle of a busy retail corridor not far from a Target (NYSE: TGT) store and the Greenville Mall. Chick-fil-A declined to confirm that it bought the land for a future restaurant. "While we are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service, we have no new locations to confirm at this time," the company... So I went through RYZE Superfoods (a $50M+ mushroom coffee brand) Meta Ad Library and scraped 400 active ads. Here is what I found - 1. **400 active ads. 28 unique body copies.** They test visuals relentlessly - 220 unique images across the 400 ads, zero image reused. But the copy? No changes. One single piece of body copy appears in 224 of the 400 ads. They found their words and stopped changing them. All the experimentation happens on the creative side. I saw the same pattern with Ridge Wallet earlier - 273 ads, only 24 unique copy texts. This might just be how D2C at scale actually works: **test the creative, lo... Entire Target store on the 2nd floor?!44d agoSo my sister and I went to a meow wolf in Denver on a Friday evening. Afterwards we went to a Target store because my sister wanted to get some new clothes which is fine and such but what I found very interesting is that the entire shopping section of the Target we were at was on the 2nd floor. I'm not kidding it was a very interesting sequence of all the Target stores I've been to I have never been in a Target store where the entire shopping section is on the 2nd floor. Dashing Diva no longer at my Target store44d agoI was at Target today and like I usually do, I browsed the nail area to see if there were any DD sets on sale. I was surprised to see they had rearranged everything and all Dashing Diva was gone. Both nail strip sets and polishes. I found this odd. I looked online, and I still see strips and polishes online, but when I set to "shop in store" sure enough, nothing shows up. There is another Target I sometimes go to that is only a mile more away, and they have a few Glaze strips and lights, but no Gloss strips or polish. I tried searching a wider range of stores, and some still have a decent selection, but others seem to also phase them out. I wonder why. Anyone else seeing them dis...
