Hello! My 2017 Surface Laptop is slowly dying, and I'm looking for a new laptop that can handle light gaming. I'm talking games like Plate Up, Pummel Party and Among Us, played on Steam online with friends. My current laptop majorly struggles with these. One of the big questions I'm grappling with is how critical a dedicated graphics card is. I enjoy a lightweight laptop with a smaller screen (eg. 14") and nice feel to it, and gaming laptops generally seem to be big (15-16" screens) and thick/heavy. I live in the semi-boonies. I also have the unfortunate problem of my home being ten feet further than a half a mile from my mailbox out on the main street, meaning the Postal Service refused to bring packages to me and requires me to go to the post office. Which is about 45 minutes round trip. I have had the Office subscription for probably 15 years. Love it. Actually, I love OneNote. Until recently. I have used it extensively for my recipe collection, genealogy research, and crochet patterns, as well as a lot of other things I track for the household. I (30f) moved to America a long time ago and have no friends now. I made friends along the way who eventually went their own ways.
