Alberta Beef Hits Costco Mexico Shelves - Canada growing it's global trade.

1h ago

Thanks Trump for all the Global business coming our way. Representing a win for the Canadian beef industry, JBS Canada and Costco Mexico recently struck a deal that will see about 20,000 tonnes of beef shipped from the JBS Brooks plant to Costco stores in Mexico. Article content The agreement, which had been in the works for about a year, was officially announced during a ribbon-cutting ceremony last month at a Costco store just outside Mexico City. Heath MacDonald, Canada’s Agriculture and Agri-Food minister, was among the officials in attendance. Albert Eringfeld, Canada Beef’s vice-president for export market development, said this week that attracting a retailer such as Cos...

Had explant with Galaflex..need suggestions on a Dr. who knows how to GET IT OUT!?

1h ago

47 yr Female 5’5 170. I had saline implants put in for $3000 in 1999. Loved them and had no problems for 21 years, even after having twins and breastfeeding. I weighed 118-130 99 to Dec 202 when I had my explant. My pre-op weight was 120 with great vitals. I knew there was danger, keeping them in so long and part of me wanted a little more polarity on the upper portion of my breasts so I started the process of finding a doctor here in Wilmington, North Carolina. I met with multiple doctors and found Summit Plastic Surgery where the surgeon was double board certified and also a dermatologist with 25 years of practice… both consultations with him, inspired confidence in his ability and m...

Why do people take Apple Cider Vinegar shots? 🍎

1h ago

I’ve been seeing a ton of posts about apple cider vinegar (ACV) lately, so I decided to give it a try. Some people swear it helps with digestion, boosts energy, and even supports weight management, but honestly, I could never do the ACV shots every morning. 😅 I recently tried Everydaze Apple Cider Vinegar Crunch and it has been so convenient and easy for me to get in my ACV, way easier than drinking straight ACV. No harsh taste, just the benefits and it literally melts in my mouth like a NERDS candy This is one thing I’ll definitely be stocking up on during the Amazon Black Friday sale! Curious to hear your experiences: * Do you take ACV daily? How do you take it? * Have you notic...

I'm looking for advice on my experience gap and resume.

1h ago

First of all, I am open for any resume advice, however I am hoping to gain some feedback on my experience overall. Quick overview: IT Coordinator transitioning to healthcare/education analyst roles (open to other sectors). Need help positioning 5+ years experience as 'operations coordination' rather than 'technical support' without overselling. Currently managing 450+ users, pursuing some Analytics education. My thoughts: my experience says "IT person trying to transition" rather than "coordination professional with data skills.". however, that is very true. I am a bit lost on what type of job I am even qualified for with a resume like this. I wan...

I’m a Live-In Caretaker for an Old Woman in a Mountain Town. Now I’m Cleaning Up Her Sins.

1h ago

I never had a problem with old people. I actually liked being around them. They had that kind of experience — that quiet, heavy wisdom — that only decades of life can give. Maybe that’s why I started doing this job in the first place. I wanted to do something good. To work for people who’d already worked their whole lives, who’d built the world around them, and who deserved not to be left alone in the end. I got a job with a company that sent caretakers to elderly people who lived by themselves. Usually, I was just a visitor — I’d check in on a few old folks during the day, ask if they needed groceries or medicine, maybe do some cleaning or help with little things around the ho...

My Dad Once Took Me to the Weirdest Pawn Shop

1h ago

When I was really little, something nasty got into my blood. Daddy took me to every hospital he could, until he’d run out of money. Auntie said we should all just pray harder. Daddy said “God let my child get leukemia. I’ll take my chances with the Devil.” I’ve never figured out how Daddy first came across the business card. All it said was “A. Kindly,” and a phone number. No address for where the shop was, or what hours it stayed opened. Daddy had to call to get that information. He said the voice on the other end was a woman’s. There was no sign out front. The building wasn’t so much small as it was narrow, impossibly squeezed between a chiropractor clinic and an emp...

Contemplating New Dedicated Credit Card for Shopping?

1h ago

I'm currently in the Chase ecosystem with CSR+CFU and looking to buy a lot of electronics for the holidays. I don't really have a good go-to card for just online shopping, e.g., Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, Steam (and other game key distributors), etc. I end up just using CFU for 1.5% unless the price warrants the CSR for better warranty/protection coverage. I plan to downgrade the CSR when it renews, e.g., CSR -> CSP or open CSP for SUB around that time and downgrade CSR to something else. For shopping-related benefits/coverage, a SUB for this holiday season, and as a future go-to card, I've been contemplating the below cards. Is there something else in the Chase ec...

Matchday Information Email

1h ago

Did anybody get the email today with the Matchday Information for the Tottenham game that doesn't have a ticket to the match? I found previously you normally only get this if you have a ticket on the membership associated with the email address. I guess it's just a bug with the mail list but got me wondering as had entered a few club related competitions for tickets?

MPD: Shoplifters put meat in pants, pull gun on Security Guard

2h ago

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a trio of shoplifters left a grocery store with at least $200 worth of meat stuffed in their pants and threatened a female Security Guard who tried to stop them. Deaundre Malone, 18, and Angela Malone, 30, were booked in Shelby County on Thursday for theft of property $1,000 and aggravated assault, three months after the alleged incident at the Superlo Foods on Quince Road. A Security Guard at the grocery store said she saw two men and a woman concealing merchandise in their waistbands, followed them to the parking lot, and asked them to return the items. She said that’s when she saw one of the men pull out a silver handgun, point it at her, and tell her to...

[RECAP] Shmanners Episode 480: Idioms Part 19

2h ago

Hey all. I just had one of my best friends of over a decade end the relationship suddenly with little hope of reconciliation or any chance at working things out. So! Let’s ignore the emotional pain with mama by returning to the well of mocking Travis for his bullshit with another Shmanners recap to distract from the gnawing loneliness and raw pain, yeah? It’ll be fun and only a little bitter, I promise, c’mon, y’all like a good Shmecap in these trying times of Royale’s utter nothingness, let’s all pretend this is still fun and not a desperate cry for help in an increasingly isolated existence atomized and anonymized for internet perverts and sickos like all you beloved jerkers. ...

OnePlus Buds 4 - First Impressions Review

2h ago

Note- if you don’t care about backstory, skip to “**Review**”section. Hello! I’ve spent the last month or so obsessing over reviews, youtube videos, posts here, etc trying to pick out my next earbud. I previously had some Beats Fit Pros that I impulse bought from Best Buy several years ago, but sadly lost them. While I was happy enough with them, I was always a little disappointed in sound quality. I’m not some crazy audiophile, but I have some decent speakers and headphones (PSB Alpha, Philips Fidelio X2HR) at home, and I generally find sub-par sound to be un-listenable. My general usage for earbuds is when I’m “out and about”, so walks outside, biking, getting groceries, ...

Today in history- The sinking of HMHS Britannic, November 21st 1916

2h ago

Today marks the 109th anniversary of the sinking of His Majesty's Hospital Ship Britannic, the largest vessel to fly the British flag at the time. She was laid down on November 30th, 1911, and launched on February 26th, 1914; as described by the press, the Britannic was "a twentieth Century ship in every sense of the word" and "the highest achievement of her day in the practice of ship building and marine engineering". Delayed and modified after the tragic sinking of her sister ship Titanic, the Britannic was not only to be the most luxurious, but also the safest ship afloat. Her relatively low operational and maintenance costs as well as potential to dominate th...

Stop driving drunk you idiots because in 88 ******* ran over me.

*Everyone has to accept Jesus Christ the Son of God as their Savior and communicate with Him daily.  If you don’t then you’ll go straight to ****.  Believe in Jesus always and ask Him into your heart and ask for forgiveness of your sins.  Because He died on the cross for you and He says, “I am the way the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” John 14:6. My favorite verse.  My old favorite chapter was 1**^(st)* *Corinthians 7, by Paul.* *In John 11:25 Jesus says “I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.  And everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.” In John 3:16 Jesus says, “For God so lov...

Anpost parcel saga.. need help/suggestions please!

3h ago

Hey there, I'm trying to sort this out and any and all help or suggestions would be appreciated. I was traveling in Ireland in August (I had THE BEST time, scheming to come for another visit - thanks for being such an awesome country) and took a 5-day willow weaving class while I was there. At the end, I shipped the baskets home to myself in the USA. To do this, I went into the Nenagh anpost office and addressed my parcel with the help of one of the staff. She helped me create the post label and everything. I used my own address in the US as both sender and receiver (under her guidance), finished my trip, and flew home. That was August 26th. Since then, the post status has cha...
