Hello. My son got into warhammer so now im getting into warhammer. I watched a few tutorials and this is where im at so far. Biggest issue for me is I wanted something like a purple wash. I saw a video of using a citadel contrast paint and diluting it with a medium. The guy at the hobby store (he admitted he was not a painter) didnt have the medium that I saw required nor did they have a shade oil in the color I wanted. So I went with citadel Magos purple contrast and tried to dilute with water. Its close to what I want. The goal is to have everything ready for Act 1 by New Year’s Eve so we can finally get a first game in 😄 Now to the real endboss: the bases. Does anyone know how to replicate the box art basing as closely as possible? It’s not overly flashy or “Instagram-level”, but it fits the scene perfectly and looks very deliberate.
