I've been hunting for this specific Taito Coreful (Latidos 2022 ver.) for months, but the prices on the aftermarket were getting ridiculous. I finally managed to snag her from Prex Hobby online hobby store I stumbled upon recently, and she just arrived today! Honestly, for a prize figure, the detail on the braids and the painting on the ruffles is incredible. She genuinely looks better than some of the more expensive scales I own. It’s crazy how good affordable anime figures are getting lately. Does anyone else have this one in their collection? I'm trying to decide if I should display her next to my Sakura Miku or give her a dedicated shelf spot.

Made a goblet using polymer clay, acrylic paint, and a dollar store wine glass. Idea came from nerd forge YouTube channel. She does awesome stuff! I need to seal it with mod podge or something and clean the glass off but I think it turned out well.

Looking to get a pizza steel. I've noticed that good pizza steels sold in in stores are near or over $100. However, the stuff on amazon is obviously far cheaper. Are the amazon steels good? Should I save the money or go all out and get one from a well established store like Williams Sonoma?

It's long gone now, but I remember a Volkswagen Type 2 van being stored behind a fence next to the Wendy's that also used to be located at Wrightstown/Pantano. It was there for at least 10 years, but I don't think I've seen it there in the last 10 years. It had flowers painted on it and it was highly visible from the street if you were driving by it on Wrightstown.

Painting my cafe racer project soon. Powder coating frame and some small parts, using a high temp primer and paint from autozone for the motor but what I am unsure about is what I want to do for the tank and fiberglass seat pan/cowl. I’m looking for a decent paint and clear coat that is fuel resistant. Hoping to find it at a store where I can buy it in person instead of ordering it. Trying to stay away from spray cans and use my paint sprayer. Doesn’t need to be cheap. Any recommendations? Also willing to hear recommendations on the paint for the motor as well. Was going for a basic gloss black with whatever high temp autozone has.

Picked this up at a thrift store because it reminds me of a historic neighborhood near where I live and think it looks very cozy, and because I thought the message on the back ("He is an outstanding artist") was kind of funny. Can't find any record of an artist named "Foster" born in 1932 in Manchester, but also didn't find any similar looking paintings from reverse Google image search, so I can't tell if this is mass-produced decor art with a fake signature or a real oil painting by a not-well-known artist.
