Hi - I have a Bambu a1, and want to be printing some models for my son who has developed a sudden passion for it after wandering into a Games Workshop store (he's 9) I have a 0.2 nozzle on the way, and picked up some Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 HF in Grey - I found the ObscuraNox print profile which should look nice. Recently bought this unframed oil painting from an antique store in Georgia, and I would love to know who the artist is. To give context to my trial-and-error (and to hopefully eliminate the dead-ends on the internet regarding this artform), I use Jacquard Carrageenan powder, diluted 4 tsp per gallon of distilled water for the Marbling Size. For paint, I've been switching between Liquitex \[diluted with water and surfactant\], GOLDEN High-Flow \[diluted with water depending on color\], and DecoArt Marbling paints \[perfection\]. My primer currently consists of a sea-salt saline mixture, and my rinse bath consists of plain distilled water. I let my contractor talk me into using faux tin ceiling instead of authentic. It looks so much worse than I ever could have imagined. They say it will cost twice as much to take down because he glued it up there… so I’ll be living with this for a while. Is anyone aware of a technique to reduce the chunkiness and crispness/obvious plasticky look of this ****? Could a plaster wash or something work? Any other mitigation ideas? It will be painted probably the attached color. Because I think it has low reflectiveness while not being too dark.

For some context here to try to make this all make sense, I've been working on a 2D renderer off and on for 3 or 4 years. It's gone through multiple iterations as I've painted myself into corners and just learned better ways to do things in general. Pic 1- this chair had been stored with some items that had been spray painted and the paint transferred onto the chair. I have already tried 1/2 diluted acrylic nail polish but doesn’t seem to be picking anything up. Pic 2- I inherited these chairs, but as you can see the finish on this one is already “damaged” somewhat. I don’t mind this look. Posting this pic to basically show that if the cleaning method for chair #1 rubs out the finish similar to chair #2, that is fine.
