I've never had a consistent skincare routine and found that every time I tried to introduce one, it just made my skin irritated or does nothing to improve my complexion. I'm 40 now and recently had kids, so my skin has changed drastically. It's more sensitive and very dull and dry. I've tried going to a med spa and getting the expensive products (for sensitive skin), but they made my skin extremely irritated. I've also tried readily available products from the pharmacy and Sephora, and so far no luck. I got my first session of professional microneedling done 8 days ago. I want to start using makeup but I’ve always used the cheap pharmacy type and I feel like I should use something a bit better. Just went to Sephora and got a tinted SPF bb cream but definitely doesn’t cover much. I have very textured skin for acne scaring (hence why I’m doing the microneedling). I need something with more coverage but will also allow for better results with the microneedling.
