I had some coarse salt on hand. I spread a bunch on a grill mat, cold smoked for 2 hours. I didn’t bother stirring it, I just spread it out to a thin layer. Pellets are the big bag from Sam’s Club. Turned out great with a nice Smokey flavor! I forgot to take an after pic, but the salt began with a grey color and had a noticeable color change at the end, more of a brownish color. I love smoked salt on many things, but especially on tomato with fresh mozzarella, splash of olive oil.

Looking for anything, truly anything, that my teen boys can do for fun without an adult present.
