I recently bought a house over the summer this year, and about a week after buying this issue started. There’s a sporting goods store in my town, and some of their retail packages have been getting delivered to my house. First golf clubs, and 24 hats printed with a college logo then were delivered 2 weeks later. I went to the sporting goods store and talked with the manager and gave them the clubs and hats. They said they would reach out to FedEx to make sure it doesn’t happen since it also happened to the people who owned the house before me for years. I’m so sick of customers doing this. I work at Sam’s club and we have ****** dated registers. people are allowed to put their card in, but it messes up sometimes if they want to do a split payment or pay with cash too. I tell them to remove it so I can do their split payment but then they look at me in confusion because majority of the customers don’t speak any English. I accidentally didn’t tell a woman to remove it when she also wanted to pay in cash. I guess the system just automatically turned it to card only transaction as I didn’t even get enough time to press the partial payment cash button.
