I know I’ve seen other people asking, but how are people meeting and dating off the apps? For some background, I’m a bisexual, 28f who is not religious or conservative. I’m also an introvert who doesn’t really go to clubs or out drinking. Most people I have met are just allergic to something serious, or we just don’t have the same values. I feel like even at “3rd places“ (coffee shops, grocery stores, parks, etc.), people are so invested in their phones and computers that natural conversations are rarely happening. Sad that a lot of stuff closes early in a city that was known for there always bein something open. Yeah there's convenience stores and all that, but in so much of the city now places I would really want to be open such as diners or just somewhere to sit down, they can't be bothered anymore. All are open after 6pm in my area are fast food restaurants, delis, and a few (really loud) clubs on the weekends. But no diners! I assume it's not just not enough customers but overhead costs have just become too much to justify being open when it's slower.
