My academic background is in visual arts, sculpture and plastics. Once upon a time, I used to make resin statues of the gods as a profession. Many of the statues we purchase today are made of plastic resin which are epoxy based. These statues can be fragile and easily broken, however, it is usually a clean break, which means they can be easy to repair. If this occurs, do NOT use super glue. Use epoxy glue, which can be purchased from most supermarkets and hardware stores. Epoxy glue usually comes in two components, the resin and "hardener", these must be mixed well before use. I didn't blink much because the Aldis near me actually dont have self checkout anyway, but there is one that does. Serious question - Does any store sell large boxes of 30+ durex condoms like you can get in the UK/US? I only see 3 packs in the pharmacies and supermarkets. It’s always awkward buying them as they’re behind the counter so I’d rather get a big box and be done with it.
