Hi, lived in Florida my whole life and just moved to Milwaukee. One thing I didn't think of is the fact that I dislike Walmart and target, is there a publix-like store here? Aldis okay but the options are limited

I am looking for new grocery stores in mtl! I am tired of the regular options (metro, maxi, IGA, Super C). I tried several and they seem to have a lot of rotten produce and even if I change supermarket, it seems like it’s the same thing everywhere. I don’t mind if I have to pay more or if I need to travel a little further. I would like to find a spot where the whole display is not filled with moldy fruits and veggies. So if you want to share your fave grocery store (bonus point if it’s not a chain) I would really appreciate it!

Will it be better for supermarkets, retail, small stores, and for their workers, to close one day per week, and give each worker 3 days off weekly, including the day that they closed, with 40 hours or more pay and benefits and with the same prices? While still being in general profitable. And without having serious drawbacks in the society like causing prices or taxes to rise. I am highly with people working 32-34 hours per week for 4 days for producing a general healthier people.

Former x2 Publix employee here, married to a recently jumped ship former Publix ACSM, and Publix deli food was a staple in our life until about 1.5 years ago when we both left the bleed green team for good (and much better pay) but we still love making rounds to the stores to see old coworkers. Genuinely loved the deli, the food and the options. Recently our local Publix delis have been very lack luster in the quality of food and service. I did an UberEats order at a supermarket (don't want to disclose the name due to fear of retaliation). There was a Quest incentive where I had to finish 4 orders between 5:00 and 9:00 pm (orders accepted before 9 but finished after are fine and do count towards the incentive) to earn $4 (bonus). I did one order between 5-6 pm and that was the first, and the second and third orders were the McDonald's and Wendy’s order respectively and the fourth would have been the supermarket order.
