I picked a dress at the first and only store I went to because my wedding is in only 6 weeks due a tight timeline related to my fiancé’s military service. I really wanted something lace and was happy to walk away with a dress same day. I liked it on, but I didn’t have the “burst into tears” moment nor did my mom who was shopping with me. After purchasing, I keep looking at the photos and all I can see is the bulging skin on my chest and back. Did I make a mistake or do I look okay in my dress?

When I worked at a grocery store there was a brief time when they would get on the intercom and say the phrase "Texas Friendly" and workers from other departments would come help the front end if we were too busy. Thought it would be neat to "Temporarily", like a cool down or a meter that builds, allow us assign non-stockers to help stock before opening or after close. call it overtime make it cost money even. Something to help those fully stocked stores recover in a more timely maner.

I’m new to the press on game. Have tried to Glamnetic set and they’re OK just put on a set of CurvLife and they’re OK but I came across this brand. And it says they can last four weeks if you use their gel glue that needs to be cured. Opinions and thoughts, please. I would probably just buy the five dollar UV lamp at five below.

Because in the past couple of weeks there have been first aiders needed three separate times and all times there were none on sight. I work in a big store so there’s always plenty of staff around. But I think only a couple of managers are trained and they’re often gone quite early in my shift (4-11pm). Always having none on sight doesn’t seem right to me and we are right next to a hospital, an old people’s home, and sheltered accommodation so often have sick/vulnerable people shopping. Is this legal or within Asda policy? Because if it’s not I want to report this somehow for the safety of customers.

I open tomorrow and we are projected to get snow and ice accumulating to around 5-8 inches. They said we would get stuff today, didn’t happen. I worry because of today, they will want us to come to the store tomorrow. I am supposed to open. I work at a store where you essentially only have 2 options that can cover for you. I was supposed to have an interview today. We rescheduled from last week because MB was dealing with insurance. No big deal, I get it, life happens. And dealing with insurance doesn’t make me be in a great mood either. We rescheduled to today so I blocked off that time and did message MB to confirm, just because it’s been a week and I always like to make sure, I don’t just want to show up unannounced. I just got a text (90 min past the interview time) saying they were stuck at the store and it wad a zoo. Would you guys try to reschedule? I don’t know.
