MF 30 y/o couple. 4 days 3 nights. Quick get away from New England weather. First off, IT WAS SAFE. So my girlfriend and I went last week. We had a lot of airline points built up and decided to pull the trigger on someplace warm to get away from New England winter weather for a little. We stayed in probably the best spot in Solimon bay called Casa Playa Maya. Found it on VRBO. It is around 30mins from downtown Tulum. We’ve been under contract for coming up on two weeks. My realtor texted us today saying the seller wants to back out because it is “too stressful for him”. I know we don’t legally have to let him out of contract, but he is also allowed to not negotiate repairs or adjust price based on appraisal - ultimately forcing us to back out so that we aren’t getting a bad deal. We have already had an inspection and I ordered and paid for the appraisal yesterday. My realtor says I will get my earnest money back and probably my appraisal money back, but not my inspection money. What can I do here? Thanks in advance
