I have been told by my boss that if we don’t have something/we don’t carry something specific, order it for the customer but here’s my issues 1) most people when they come in for something are looking for it now. They don’t want to wait for it to arrive with our deliveries Which leads me to point 2) they might not even come back for it. A big reason my old boss rarely did this was because half the time the person never turns up for it. Just trying to get a feel by hearing other opinions. I work at a sub shop thats been open for a year. Business is awful. I want to file a lawsuit against the city I’m staying in for stray dog negligence. Today I got attacked by what seemed to be a large husky or German shepherd, unprovoked, walking home from the store. It’s not a subject that comes up often, but I had to put grip tape on the ramp that we use to get ebikes up the steps onto the porch. Wasn’t a problem in dry weather, but any moisture would leave the wheel spinning. Similar texture to the grip tape we had on our skateboards in the ‘80’s. Used a Makita quarter sheet sander with 100 grit sandpaper to remove the black rubber from the ramp , it was peel&stick.
