I was thinking about how people used to stick to one brand earlier. Same phone brand, same shop, same service — sometimes for years. Now it feels very different. There are so many options everywhere. If a brand increases price, people switch. If another brand gives a better deal or faster service, loyalty doesn’t matter much. Reviews and discounts influence decisions more than trust. Even brands know this. That’s why they keep pushing offers, ads and influencer promotions all the time. It feels like they are fighting just to stay noticed. So is brand loyalty actually disappearing? Or has it just changed into something more temporary? Curious to know how others see this.

I thrifted this duffle jacket the other week and would like help identifying the brand. Tried Googling and didn't manage to find any information on a New York brand with 3 crowns as it's logo. Reverse image search showed nothing useful much either. Seems to be a New York based brand, but the jacket is made in Japan by, Taikyo Sangyo who are a wholesale distributor of men's clothing from what information I could find. Based on code on the tag I think its from Fall/Winter 2007, so could be from a defunct brand that shut down around that time so it doesn't have a social media presence? I’m sure most of us have heard this repeatedly. I was a stay at home mom with plans of going back to work when my oldest started high school. However, my dad died and we moved my mom in, so now I’m a stay at home daughter/caregiver. I have a chronic illness myself, and I feel like all I do is drive to Dr appointments, pharmacy, grocery shopping, then all the household and daily things for everyone. Earlier had one generic Rs 500/- scale from Amazon, turned out to be highly inaccurate within 1 year itself. I know body fat/BMI etc measurements using these scales might not be accurate, still a smart scale will help in auto-sync the daily measurements effortlessly and hence want to go with one among these. People who have used either of these please provide some feedback.
