So I’ve received a copy of Pokemon emerald and have been playing it all weekend. It never booted on my gba accelerator device but all my other ones, the pins look immaculate looking in with a flashlight, shell is probably one of the best I’ve seen. I’ve been playing on my childhood ds lite it’s in pretty good condition- everything works and reads very easily but some scratches and whatnot, otherwise clean device. Some lag when it reads battery at start but other than that nothing major, I did notice some minor random lag when running in certain spots but nothing really repeatable or crazy enough to make me think it’s just vintage hardware. hi, our store used to give us cases of water, which was really helpful in opd. having easy access to water made a big difference, especially during busy shifts when you’re running around all day. but in late january, they just stopped providing it. after a while, we started buying our own cases for the department, thinking at least we could keep everyone hydrated. now, in the past few weeks, they’ve taken that away too. with summer coming and 90° weather already here, it’s been rough. we’re expected to spend $3+ on a single bottle of water, or drink from the water fountain, which tastes insanely chlorine-filled. it’s honestly hard to stay hydrated when that’s your only option. ...

I’m looking to propose to my significant other. The issue I am running into I s she has no idea one what type of cut she wants for her ring. We have tried going out to ring shop, but were unsuccessful as she became overstimulated by the salespeople and they sales pitches. I’ve been trying to cut down my online shopping habit, but in the meantime I’ve been trying to at least make my hauls cheaper. But nothing seems to help. I’m on a free trial for Amazon Prime and I have an account with basically every store, but I still spend too much.
