I recently found out that some of the old wooden groins from Worthing seafront (the darker blocks in this photo) are being repurposed locally by the Brighton wood store in Kemptown, which I thought was really cool. Apparently they’re made from Greenheart wood and have literally been in the sea for years before being replaced - thanks to some creative woodworkers in Brighton, they’re ending up as things like shop displays! The lighter blocks at the back are (I’m told) Douglas fir from the newer replacements. Has anyone else come across bits of old Brighton / local area infrastructure being reused like this? ♻️

I have typed in so many variants of descriptions of this toy in my google search and have been unsuccessful in finding it. It was a barbie toy that wasn't a computer or laptop but you could type on it and there was a little screen in the center. Then on the top edge of the toy there were plastic "shop" buttons but the buttons were actually in the shape of the shops. I visited a clothing store two days ago to find a simple v-neck t-shirt for everyday wear. I wanted something comfortable, breathable, and easy to style. We are seeking: * safe and quiet units * well maintained * pet-friendly (dog 18lbs) * within 2 miles of a *major shopping center* (retail mgr seeking job) * AND within 30 minutes from *VUMC* (high medical needs) * Franklin occasionally for medical visits./surgeries I feel like I have exhausted Google, but finding something that meets the criteria is difficult!
