Here’s a novelty for me. I received two 357-g cakes from an old tea head in Tucson, AZ. Not sure how long they were stored there but, from what I can tell of the taste, it was a long time. I rehydrated at 69% RH for 6 weeks and finally gave it a try today. Strong initial flavor with thick mouthfeel. A classic aged silver needle taste, but very clean and dry (likely from desert storage).
