Constantly online grocery shopping

10d ago

I saw a video of emily doing her meijer "grocery haul" and she was complaining how they have to replace so many items beause they were out of stock, like getting the expensive chips. I know they are moms, but they work from home, they honestly aren't that busy, if they wanted to save money, they could just go grocery shopping, Idk, it seems like a waste of money when you cant pick out the groceries you want. I honestly don't know many people who do online grocery shopping. I don't really see the advantage unless you are 2 full time working parents with kids or have a job where you are working 12 plus hour shifts.

I just found out my little guy passed away :(

14d ago

\*Photos are only of him alive\* I jus found my little guy limp in his tank and I knew he was gone. When I picked him up he didn’t retract into his shell and he had a faint odor. I’m pretty sure he passed early this morning. I got him from a meijer grocery store that’s about 1.5 hours away from me in December where he was marketed as a better snail but was very obviously a mystery snail. I named him Zamboni because he was so speedy when I got him but he slowly quit being as active. The past few days he’s been hanging out at the waterline so yesterday I gave him an air bath which seemed to help him perk up but alas it wasn’t enough. I’m pretty sure he passed from old age

My Meijer grocery app refuses any negative reviews.

19d ago

I cannot comprehend the tags. Sorry, not sorry. I review EVERYTHING because I personally seriously consider reviews when purchasing anything. Since December, I've near crippled myself to the point of not being easily capable of making my own meals, but microwave dinners meet that curve very well. This Devour meal specifically is so under seasoned I had to use AN OBSCENE amount of ingr dients to even bare tolerating this dish. 0/10 flavorful 2/10 favorable after sessioning, I could puke eating this in full even with seasoning. 2/10 anything, I do not recommend it even as a starting point. TASTE your product you sick fucks.

I got a job because of a cute cashier

26d ago

A little bit of background. I moved from the US to Switzerland and lived there for 8 years since I was 12 for my dad’s work. I recently moved back to the US also because of my dad’s work. On my first day in my new city, about a few weeks ago, I went to a nearby Meijer grocery store and the cashier at the desk was so beautiful that I was genuinely taken aback and in shock. I really wanted to talk to her and I came up with all of these plans to go and talk to her and chat her up. I am fairly shy and living in Switzerland for so long messed up my social skills. I applied to that grocery store a couple weeks into my new life. I got the interview the day after applying and was hired immedia...

Manual Review

55d ago

So to add context, i was at 490 when i got this account on 3/13/25. The guy told me that 6 months them unsecure me. I had no idea about all the political bs that is associated with certain types of secured cards. I called at 6 months they told me i was not approved automatically and that they only take action if it’s been 12 months. I wasted until the morning of and had to call 4 different times to get to a manager willing to submit the manual review. They told me 30 days. I didn’t understand why bc I’m at 756/754/700 now. I called last week to get an update and they told me it was declined but i was put on a month to month review now instead of a 6 month review. I thought good news....

Former employee.

Am a 14-year former Meijer grocery team member at #239. My last two team leaders really caused me a lot of problems, and I feel like they kind of forced me out of Meijer. The grocery team leader and the frozen/dairy team leader conspired against me and lied and got me in trouble and then cut my hours down to 5 per week from 15 hours per week. The team leader did not do what she told me she would do about my schedule and then lied to the other team leader, and he called me a liar and then cut my hours. After that I felt I was being retaliated against and I decided to retire. I felt that they are both very dishonest and unprofessional as team leaders. There were at least 3 occasions that I had...

Buddy’s Original Detroit-Style

77d ago

As the label says this is the original Detroit-style pizza. I used to live near the first location in Detroit but it has several restaurants across the metro area now. I have to say, this is pretty darn close to getting it at the restaurant. The crust is not as crunchy, cheesy, greasy but it sure beats any other frozen Detroit-style out there. I got this at a Meijer grocery store, which is Michigan based, in Indiana. It is pricey at $12.99 but I buy them on sale for $9.99. The thick crust and slicing style makes two pieces a full meal. 10/10

Fish ID please :(

83d ago

This fish was at my local Meijer grocery store. The tanks there are pretty awful. I won’t go into detail about the conditions…but this was one of the cleaner tanks. (I’d like to report the habitat conditions, but I’m not sure who would be best to contact. Any recommendations for that would also be helpful.) I’d like to save this guy and start a small tank. I’m hoping someone can help me ID him. The tank scum made it impossible to ID using Google Image search. Additional Details: \-Fresh water tank (unless it was labeled improperly) \-The fins and tail have rounded ends \-No visible dorsal fin \-The blue and yellow coloring are more vibrant than how it appears in the video...

Glad I found this sub reddit

I'm glad I found this. I don't believe I fit in with full blown asexuals but I do enjoy the actors I like. I've felt like I could be with one actor if we were friends and he wanted to and I mean no disrespect towards him of course. I find him so cute 🥰. With my experience I've never felt attraction to real life people, some guys and girls are aesthetic attractive but I don't wanna sleep with them. I do at times feel lonely. I feel I'm a grey hetero oriented aroace. I work at a Meijers grocery store, it's a retail store kinda like Walmart and I was sad to see last year that we didn't have pride merch.

Just your opinions/betta advice

I got this beautiful boy from meijer(grocery store) in December because I felt so bad for him. He’s currently in a 5 gallon tank with a sponge filter! His tank is usually 72 degrees Fahrenheit. He eats dried blood worms and the standard pellets! I’m also doing my research on real tank plants! I’m waiting until I move to get those started because I’m going to get him into a bigger tank! Any advice for advancing his tank? Also the first 2 pictures were taken today and the last 2 are from the night I got him. Does he seem to be happier?? His name is Draco but I call him big fish🥰

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/9928-Litzsinger-Rd-Saint-Louis-MO-63124/2774670\_zpid/ This house made me think of a bunch of buildings of different styles mashed together like the Meijer facade. Was hoping to find a penny-operated mechanical horse inside but to no avail.

He looks like handsome Squidward. Any other characters?

First Trove Box Opening

140d ago

Hello! My wife and I recently got into Lorcana via the Jafar Illumineer's Quest box; we come from a heavy board game background and largely play cooperatively. After playing through Jafar together, we picked up the Gateway set and Ursula's Quest box and then decided to grab a couple trove boxes that were on sale at our local Meijer (grocery/department store in the midwest). We opened our first one last weekend from Shimmering Skies and got the King Candy - Sweet Abomination enchanted, along with Robin Hood - Sharpshooter legendary! Not the most valuable cards, I'm sure, but it was pretty fun to seem some cool cards in our first box.

88-year-old veteran's touching story of why he works full time goes viral, raising over $1 million

Veteran Ed Bambas lost his pension, then lost his wife of more than 50 years. shoppers at a Meijer grocery store in Brighton, Michigan stop by the self-checkout, many of them look forward to seeing the friendly face of Ed Bambas, an 88 year old Army veteran who would find himself at the center of social media attention. █▓▒░░We love this░░▒▓█
