As a fast food goer there is not a single place where Wendy's is competitive anymore on price, food quality, service or anything really. I just went to Chik-Fil-A today and got me a spicy chicken deluxe meal. It feels like anytime Wendy's comes up here, the response is overwhelmingly negative, people saying it’s gone downhill or isn’t what it used to be. Honestly, I don’t really get it. I’ve been eating at Wendy’s for years and still enjoy it. In my opinion, their burgers are noticeably better than what you get at McDonald's or Burger King. I work in a corporate job and have a some money on paper, but virtually nothing day to day because of debt and high cost of everything. I am worried that people will find out that I am struggling, so I do things to hide my lack of money. I look for 3-1 frozen meals and heat/eat them elsewhere. I LOVE McDonald’s fries when they’re hot and fresh. Probably my favorite food in the world and the primary reason I ever go to McDonald’s (after breakfast menu) is my hope to get them. When they’re not hot I find them to be merely edible and don’t really care for them at all. I still eat them because I don’t like to waste my money but it feels like wasted calories instead. Hi all, we live in the EU but visit family in the US every year. My daughter has severe nut allergies. In the EU, cross contamination/“may contain” is reliably labeled so it’s fairly easy to buy things for her at the grocery store. However, I know cross contamination is not required to be labeled in the US and I find it very hard, and very limiting, to grocery shop for her there. Most products don’t have “may contain” labels. Honestly aside from the super size menu and how the burgers used to be, I really really miss the salt packets where you snap them open about 1/3 of the way in.
