I wish I could go back and warn my younger self. Everything I thought was real… wasn’t.

**Trigger Warnings: violence, substance abuse, stalking** *I posted this yesterday and, after tossing and turning all night, I ended up deleting my original post. After some (A LOT) of overthinking, I got worried that I may have shared too much and that someone could figure it out and identify me (I live in place called delulu land lol.) I got scared being so vulnerable and then the thoughts of what others may think started to creep in.* *I have gone back in and edited my post – made it shorter and removed some details, because I still really want to share this, especially with my Two Hot Takes peeps. I listen every day, but I have never posted on Reddit before and this is a throw away a...

Fortaleza & Cascahuin Prices (NYC)

4h ago

I am curious on how much you guys have paid for a bottle of Fortaleza Blanco, Repo, or Añejo ? What about Cascahuin Tahona Blanco ? Open to anyone across the States. Here in NYC, they’re rare to find or just ridiculously priced. I had previously posted a bottle of Fortaleza Blanco was being priced at $190! Insane af. I recently purchased a bottle of Fortaleza Still Strength for $105 including tax but that’s still pricy I feel. It was a local liquor store in Harlem. I haven’t been able to find Cascahuin Tahona Blanco here. If anyone can point me to the right direction and price range.

What's worth buying on record store day? The picks nobody talks about

4h ago

Every year record store day turns into the same thing where grown adults sprint to a bin at 7am to fight over a picture disc they'll never play. And look, I respect the hustle, but the best part of RSD is the stuff nobody is elbowing each other for. I showed up at like noon last year after everyone cleared out and honestly it was the best decision. No line, no stress, and I found this compilation from a tiny label with all these regional bands I would've never heard otherwise. That record gets more play than anything I've ever waited in line for. The other thing I've noticed is people treating RSD like it's the only day new music exists, when the whole point should...

IFAK (Stop the Bleed)

Here is what you want and need from a Improved First Aid Kit. 1. Bag: Simplicity and retention. You shouldn’t create a yard sale. You should be able to quickly deploy your kit open start using it. Then move with it open and lose nothing. You want it simple and addressing immediate threats to human life. It should address massive hemorrhage, airway, and ******* chest wounds. I recommend rip away or clam shell designs. You want to attach things with a lanyard. 2. Training: You don’t need special training on how to address these because you already know. If you played with your garden hose and know how to fix flat tires you know what needs to happen. What you need to do is train on ho...

Placed an order 12 days ago. Seller does not have anything about processing times listed on their shop, and the delivery window provided when I ordered was March 25 - 31. It's been radio silence since, no shipment, so I messaged Seller yesterday to check in. They told me that they have been experiencing technical issues from the winter weather a few months ago (we are both located in the US) and gave me a vague answer about typical processing times, which they say is currently 5 - 10 business days. That's fine, except that was nowhere anywhere on their store, and they didn't tell me when my order will ship - just "it takes 3-5 business days to create the art and shipping...

Traveling Mercies Review

4h ago

There is something about the marketplace concept that doesn't sit right with me. No matter what your experience is or why you are there, the artifice of turning a shipping container, or an old conference room into a restaurant, bar, or boutique gift shop doesn't lend itself to a memorable experience. They always seem to feel cold, shallow, and soulless. This brings me to my recent experience at Traveling Mercies, a new cocktail and oyster concept from acclaimed chef Caroline Glover.  The small space sits on the third floor of Stanley Marketplace with a fantastic westward facing view over a park. Finding Traveling Mercies is the first obstacle, but the chalk outlines of wine and...

Harrington Convenience Store (adapted field recording)

4h ago

This is an adapted field recording of a fridge drone in Harrington Convenience Store, The Rocks, Sydney. Visiting the store to bag some late night snacks I was struck by a perfect 5th. Analysing the recording I see the following: \~80Hz - E2 -51 cents - Fundamental \~101Hz - G2 +52 cents - Major 3rd \~162Hz - E3 -30 cents - Octave \~240Hz - B3 -49 cents - Perfect 5th above the octave \~740Hz - F#5 - 9th \~918Hz - A#5 -27 cents - 11th This creates a harmonically rich E Major 11 with microtonal wonk. The recording was taken late in the evening on the 25th of March 2026 with a pair of MHK 8040s in ORFT configuration, recorded at 48kHz, 32bit. The original recording contains sounds of c...

Little Kurdistan community culture

4h ago

Hi! I'm a photography student at MTSU, working on a photographic project where I'm looking to explore local stores/business in the nolensville pike area to highlight and share with some local publications. I'm looking for those unique shops/businesses that share any of the diverse cultures in the area. I was at Plaza Mariachi while they had the Flea Market this past weekend. Been to the JiHan International Market (pictured). I'm open to any and all suggestions! Thanks in advance.

Crafted Cognac sighting.

4h ago

The store I went to today had Crafted Cognac. Scent notes are Orange Bitters, Cherry-Infused Cognac, and Roasted Tonka Bean. Yeah, it’s another liquor-based scent, but it’s got a nice sweetness that distinguishes itself from the rest. I don’t know when this is officially dropping, but they only had the body cream for now. Price is $17.95. They’ve also repackaged Whiskey Reserve which you can see on the left.

That post about where Claude Code spends its tokens convinced me to open-source my code indexer

**TL;DR:** *Built a code intelligence engine that lets AI agents stop grizzly-searching through your codebase. Tree-sitter + SQLite + semantic search + cross-language tracing. Benchmarks show less tool usage on average. It's bearly v0.1.0, but it works. Repo link waaay below.* Before we start, shoutout to u/kids__with__guns and their [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeAI/comments/1s27dex/i_tracked_exactly_where_claude_code_spends_its/). It directly led to this. I've been building an IDE (not yet released - hopefully soon) that gives AI agents a structural understanding of codebases. The core is a code intelligence engine with tree-sitter parsing, dependency graphs, cross-file ...

Navy blue hair dye recommendations?

4h ago

I dyed my hair using a mixture of Arctic Fox Transylvania & Blue Jean baby about a week ago, I love the color but my roots did not take it at all so I need to dye it again. The rest of my hair was bleached to a level 10 but my roots were grown out, my natural hair is about a level 6. I currently have ktip extensions so it does need to be a semi or demi permanent and ammonia free! I was going to get Guy Tang Midnight Blue Black 1MB but it seems to be sold out in Canada. I was also considering doing another mixture of the colors I used but using more black, but I don't know if there's a better option. I can shop at professional supply stores so any recommendations welcom...

#45 Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

4h ago

My first perfected game was the original game back in 2022 so it was nice to finally add this one to the list. The game ran terribly on my main display but I committed to playing on my lower res side monitor and had a mostly 50-60fps experience on a 3060ti.
