I’ve been checking out a few jewelry spots around Vancouver lately because I want to buy something meaningful soon, but I didn’t realize how different each shop feels. I stopped by TG Jewellers recently and their pieces had this really clean, simple style. Then another shop I walked into had more old-school, vintage-looking designs. It kinda threw me off because I thought jewelry stores would be more similar. For anyone who’s been through this here what actually helped you pick a jeweller? Was it the design style, how they explained things, or just the general vibe? Trying to figure out what to pay attention to so I don’t make a clueless choice.

Happy new year everyone! I didn’t thought that this much people gonna interact with my prev post, but thanks to all. So what happened after. We stated from 6:30 PM and by 8, our gin has finished. But we were so much high that didn’t even realise that we r high. Hello, everyone.    Sharing my 4Q25 beauty haul (Sephora Savings, 11.11, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, 12.12 sales) before I go off to my 2026 No Buy plans. I still have my year-end haul pending to come but I've already capped my purchases for the year. Beauty has been my comfort and coping mechanism for some time. As much as it's good for the dopamine hits, it does seem a little over the top when I see my items go to waste. So for 2026, I'll be shifting my mindset to 'using' makeup than 'buying'. I do love collecting but I think the upcoming year will be more on enhancing my techniques and better self-control against trendy launches, etc. Better spend...
