First St. Louis purchase

24m ago

I’ve collected some crystal pieces over the years and wanted some new wine glasses. Since I love Hermes, I thought I’d give St. Louis a try. When I went into the store to pick up a pair of Chypres, I asked my SA if she could order these and she did. They were delivered yesterday and are just beautiful!!! The picture doesn’t do justice to how they refract light. Now I may have to expand this collection 😄

Coir mattress (coirfit) form Amazon..

25m ago

Last year, I purchased a mattress from Coirfit, trusting the brand because of its strong online presence and reputation. After using it for around 1.5 years, I recently discovered that the product delivered to me was not what I had ordered. I specifically ordered a coir mattress, but after inspecting it properly, it turns out to be a foam mattress instead. The biggest issue with products like mattresses is that customers usually cannot verify the internal material at the time of delivery. I kept struggling with discomfort and poor sleep, assuming the mattress would improve over time or that I simply needed to adjust to it. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I now feel misled and extrem...

[Review] Season 5 of Residents of Proserpina Park is a flashback arc that introduces some fun new mythical creatures.

25m ago

Season 5 of Residents of Proserpina Parks has been out for a while now. And I finally got around to reviewing it. This is the flashback arc. The framing device is that Alina and the gang are at the coffee shop that Drew works at. Jessica and Sam are telling stories. They talk about how Junichi and Jessica discovered the park. They talk about the adventures they had with various creatures. They talk about how Junichi and Sam fell in love. But most of all, they talk about how they decided to make their own creation. And of the price they paid for their hubris. So, this is the season where we finally get answers to long standing questions. Let’s start with the new creatures. Now, way back ...

Best Place To Purchase Discounted Work Gear?

27m ago

Gabes tends to be my go to especially their clearance rack whenever I need to replace my work gear. Though because of limited stock, I sometimes have issues finding bottoms that fit me since I'm very thin. I would perfer in person shopping but I am open to online stores as well so long as they are reputable.

Shopping in Orlando/Miami

hi girls! I'm from [Buenos Aires, Argentina](https://media.admagazine.com/photos/618a6a585e45a526c6be8f63/master/w_1600,c_limit/61333.jpg) and i'll be in Miami/Orlando next september. That said, I'm really looking to buy great clothes. I’d love some recommendations on where to buy good quality clothes and sneakers, either in physical stores or online stores that I could use while I’m there. Some brands/styles I really like are Vans, Adidas Originals, Lucky Brand, Abercrombie, Free People, Lacoste, H&M, Farm Rio. I like colorful clothes, casual outfits, denim, comfy basics, and things that are trendy but still wearable for everyday life. [I'll be buying th...

Roommate in Reynoldstown

29m ago

I am a 25M and my current roommate is moving out and I am looking for a new roommate to resign a lease in June. Rent is $1200 plus utilities. You would have your own bedroom and bathroom, as well as 2 car garage, deck, common living area and front yard. The area is great with a quick walk to the beltline and Krog Street Market as well as plenty of stores, restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby. I am pretty relaxed when it comes to the living situation. I work during the week and try to be out of the house as much as possible either hiking/camping or just hanging out with friends in the city. At home I am usually reading or watching movies. I am pretty social and would welcome someone I ...

Antique store find. What is it?

31m ago

I was browsing antique shops when I stumbled across this timepiece. I think it’s an early 2000’s edifice but I can’t identify the exact model. The shop had just gotten it in so they haven’t priced it yet. Can anyone help me identify this piece and what it might be worth so I can be an educated buyer next time I go to the store?

Sexual harassment by employee of store

38m ago

I have been shopping at the same Asian grocery store since I moved to this area 6 years ago and always felt it was a safe space. I felt at home seeing others who looked like me and hearing the language of my childhood spoken around me. I loved leisurely wandering every aisle and seeing new products and old familiar items that allow me to connect with my culture. This area has a few other Asian grocers but they are not as close. Two weeks ago, I noticed a lot of new staff I didn't recognize stocking shelves. As I was coming to the end of an aisle, an employee pushing a cart walked by and stopped in front of me blocking the end of the aisle. He looked at me hard, especially at my lower ...

These are what the inventory levels were Wednesday morning for VinSyn and Partner Label limited editions right before the site went down for maintenance, so they should be fairly accurate for the start of the sale. My write up of 24 death penalty cases in Ohio [warning, extremely graphic content]

39m ago

To be clear, this isn't comprehensive roster of every inmate sentenced to death by the state of Ohio by any means. This is instead a small sample size of 24 entries I've completed so far while surveying Ohio's death penalty cases (excluding executions and what the DPIC considers to be "exonerations", which are covered separately) in my personal capital punishment research project. The state of Ohio has over 375 death penalty cases under that criteria, which I've written 27 entries for as of now. Be warned, many of the 24 cases listed here involve extreme sexual violence against children, and some of the gory details are discussed in depth. Please read at yo...

Your local Gail's bakery exists because Bain Capital ran your postcode through an algorithm

42m ago

There's a Gail's bakery near me with wood panelling, chalk lettering, painted name above the door in that slightly rough lower-case type, all the visual cues that say "this place is local". Tom Molnar, the CEO, explained on his appearance on the Hungry podcast last year, that his company has spent 8 years building an internal algorithm that scores every postcode in the UK for "Gail's suitability". Inputs reportedly include things like distance from transport links, demographic markets, that kind of thing. Output is a map of where the next branch should go. Bain Capital, which has owned a majority stake since 2021, has been funding the rollout. It had around...
