Trying to sign up to be a Spectrum location - Sent in an endless loop.1h agoI operate a pack and ship store in rural Vermont. People routinely inquire about returning Spectrum equipment. If they don't have it packed with a label I direct them back to Spectrum for a Home Return Kit... I've gotten a lot of push back, saying operators have said the customer can just bring me the equipment. The problem is I am not a "The UPS Store" franchise location... I am a UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet. ASOs don't posess the tech to magically turn serial numbers into shipping labels. The Closest Spectrum store is an hour and a half away. The three closest "The UPS Store" locations are also an hour and a half away in different directions (If we we... Brought my car to the body shop, now my rear hatch doesn't open.1h agoLike the title says, I had someone back into me in a parking lot back in Spetember. Minimal damage, but enough so that I went through insurance. I brought it to a body shop a few weeks back and during the time of it being there they told me they were having issues starting it and I needed to bring them a new battery. Luckily I work at a car parts store so I was able to bring them a new battery. The next day they said "the rear hatch isnt working" and said it could need a reprogram or a new Liftgate Control Module. I got the car back on Monday and sure enough, the hatch won't open on its own. I have to go in from the back, manually open it and then raise it all the way up. When... Bought new vs second hand! Which side would you pick?1h agoSlide one is everything ive bought new, either from street shops or online Slide two is everything second hand from charity shops to music specific second hand stores. I stopped losing money on online shopping1h agoLook, I know how this sounds. Another "just stop buying things" lecture, right? Nope. Because when you're stretching every dollar, sometimes ordering essentials online is literally the only option. No car? Online. Kids need school supplies at 11pm? Online. Best price on groceries? Probably online. Here's what clicked for me last month: I was buying stuff anyway – diapers, household basics, even groceries during a particularly rough week. Then my cousin mentioned she found out how to earn cashback rewards from online shopping. At first I rolled my eyes because it sounded like another "side hustle" that takes more time than it's worth. But honestl... Join our Real Weekly Flights! I've been basically getting paid to shop for makeup lately1h agoOkay, so here's the deal - last month I was adding up my Sephora receipts (don't judge me, we've all been there) and honestly felt a bit queasy. Like, I knew I had a problem, but seeing those numbers stacked up? Yikes. But then something clicked. I was chatting with my coworker who's also a total makeup junkie, and she casually mentioned she's been getting cashback on literally every beauty purchase. At first I was like, "Yeah right, what's the catch?" because nothing's free these days, you know? Turns out there's no catch. She showed me this whole concept of how to get paid to shop - basically using cashback apps before buying from... Market ideas?1h agoI’ve been building a village on my world and lately I’ve been working on a market square area. So far I have an Irish pub, a farming store, and a butcher shop. I already know I want to build a potions shop, but I cannot think of anything else to build that I can make shop themed. For reference I dug out a 40x40 square and filled it with stone, mossy cobblestone, and moss, and outlined it with smooth stone. I built a fountain in the middle and have been building the shops around the border of the 40x40 area bc I want to put things like benches and mini trading centers on the area to make it seem like a bustling market area. (I also have plans to make another area like this where a clock t... The Life of Hieromartyr Constantin Sârbu. Part 11h ago*This life was compiled by the nuns of Petru Vodă Monastery, founded by Archimandrite Justin (Pârvu) and headed by Abbess Iustina (Bujor).* **A difficult childhood and a thirst for knowledge** *You’ll never heave peace and spiritual calm if you don’t* *love and forgive like Christ. We don’t know how to forgive.* “To know is one thing, but to do what you know is something else entirely. Knowledge is the first step towards salvation, and deeds are the entire path.” [Hieromartyr Constantin Sârbu](https://preview.redd.it/rmcirbd8815g1.png?width=300&format=png&auto=webp&s=2440cd2c6acdfec7caf24f6110d3d1f8ceeb34de) [](https://preview.redd.it/the-life-of-h... New UI test for my lo-fi fantasy shop game!1h agoWorking on adding some new UI to my fantasy shop game [Dungeon Bodega Simulator](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3458180/Dungeon_Bodega_Simulator/)! I initially tried to pull off a shop game with as little user interface as possible, but after watching some streamers play it during Next Fest I realized I needed a UI anchor to help ground the mechanics and make it a bit less esoteric. Thoughts or feedback? My .25 cents Clearance Haul (Found on 12-3-25) Mostly Scrunchies1h agoOkay the universe knew I needed a win this week as I am bleeding like a stuck pig today. 🔪🐷 I feel like that just needs an award for walking around and functioning normally. BUT OMG WHEN I TELL YOU I saw this shopping cart full with a little sign that said .25 cents, I just about lost it. I got stocking stuffers for all my besties, tons of stuff for myself and some things to donate to the Angel Tree in my town. Everything in the buggy that is pictured here was a quarter! They also had some nail care products, but none that I would use. You have to visit different stores because I saw this same stuff in my other store this week and it was still full price. This Dollar Tree 💚 als... other drivers1h agoIt is so incredibly infuriating watching other drivers get orders back to back to back to back while I do not even get sent any orders at all.. my metrics are great across the board and still nothing.. especially when half the customer notes for the orders I do get once in a blue moon are complaints about other drivers stealing items or not dropping off at the correct place.. my zone is huge and I know there are orders flowing constantly especially when I’m watching the same people shop deliver come back repeat.. not to mention these are the same people who barge through customers in store and are completely rude to all of the associates.. so ridiculous Saint John the Silent of Saint Sabbas Monastery (+ 558) (December 3rd)1h agoSaint John was born in the year 454 (according to J.Patrich, January 8, 454). He was born in the city of Nicopolis, in Armenia to parents Enkratius and Euphemia, his father Enkratius was a military commander. John loved prayer and solitude, he also had a passion for reading Holy Scripture. When his parents died he used the inheritance they left him to build a church dedicated to the Most Holy Theotokos. At the age of eighteen he became a monk and began living a strict and resolute life of asceticism, cleansing his heart by his many tears, fasting and prayer and temperance at the church he founded. He lived with ten other young monks, founding a coenobium. All worked physically hard througho... Room available in Glendale1h agoROOM AVAILABLE IN GLENDALE - $1100 + Utilities I'm offering a room available in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in the peaceful neighborhood Adams Square in southeast Glendale, which is close to Eagle Rock and Glassell Park. There's a grocery store within a mile, a Glendale Library Connection and a Coffee Shop just down the block. It's a quieter part of Glendale that feels a bit more like Glassell Park. The apartment is quiet, calm with two cats on the second floor of a two story building. It's mostly families that live here, so it's pretty calm. I'm open to short term or long term living. The living room is set up to be more like a small library with over 1... DC Costco: A Year in Review1h agoI wanted to write this post to share my thoughts about how things have changed at DC Costco over the past year. For those new to DMVWhisky, a lot of this may be new to you and you may be wondering what the deal is with the Costco in DC. For those who have been a part of the DC whiskey scene for a while, you likely have seen and heard a lot about it over the years. # 👀 What is the deal with DC Costco? So this is for those who may be new. The one and only Costco in DC is the only one in the entire DC, MD and VA metro area that sells liquor. They are one of the largest sellers of liquor in the area and as such they get a lot of allocated and sought after bottles. As with everything else, C... AIO; A homeless person with a shopping cart full of what looked like everything they own had their items dumped out onto...1h agoSo I'm sitting at a stop light and I see a homeless person sitting on a bucket with a sign in their hand about needing money. I saw 2 men talking to the person. I couldn't tell the person's gender due to them being heavily covered from head to foot with clothing. All of a sudden one of the men dumped the cart over and then both of the men proceeded to walk down the street, pushing the cart. I got through the light, turned around and headed back to the side street to see if the person was okay. When I was coming back I saw the men lifting the cart into the back of a truck. I followed them and they drove into a locally owned grocery store. The men got out and put the car... Turns out Kegseth just got into Vance’s eye shadow before a night out…1h agoJust hoping to inject a little humour during the horror… Carpet Install Recommendations?1h agoIn my 40+ years I’ve never shopped for carpet, but now after 3 elderly dogs have passed, it’s time. I have no idea where to start. Not looking for anything fancy and my suspicion is the product will be largely similar between stores; I’m most concerned about installation. Any guidance, recommendations on places to start—or places to avoid!—would be greatly appreciated. Trying to find anime embroidered T-shirts.1h agoIt's my last day in Tokyo tomorrow, and I'm staying in Akihabara. I was wondering where to buy those thick embroidered T-shirts like you find in Osaka near dotonbori. They had a bunch of shops with the jackets too. I can't make it to Osaka and back in time for my flight, so I'm looking for something closer. Any help would be much appreciated! I have checked out a lot of stores in Akihabara, but none have sold those thick embroidered shirts. My new brick breaker arcade is available on Android. Please give it a try and let me know what you think.
