Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Liquor Store Latest Community Discussions About Liquor Stores in USInsane person showing me the ai overview when she needed something from where I work33m agoI work at Target. This middle aged woman approached me asking if we carry stress balls. Just the regular stress ball that you squeeze. I already knew we do not really carry that in the store, if we did it's more of the dollar spot and that's unpredictable. She had googled stress balls, and it did pull up target in the search for shopping (but you can see that it's not exactly what she wanted it was just suggesting toys) But she scrolled down to the AI overview and read out that it said "most major retailers, dollar general walmart, target, carry stress balls." She read it verbatim right in front of me. I had no idea how to tell this lady that that thing says w... The convenience and size of the apartment are hard to beat. This apartment is part of Ironstate Properties in the Shipyard community, located in the North Vanguard building. Visited for my sisters wedding, had 2.5 days to explore- here is where i went!37m ago1. Birdee- cherry pistachio milk bun was a 10. the churro croissant was ok, i just wish it had filling. the blueberry lemon twist also great. the BEC however was too salty. still good, just not great. 8.2 2. Bernie’s- wedge salad, vinegar chicken, mozz sticks, and the lemon ice box pie was amazing. the overall vibe, music, ambiance, as well as being able to draw on our place setting was enough of a reason for me to want to go back. the burger was meh, but everything else was to die for. 9.9 3. Levain- nothing special. just a big cookie. i liked the lemon white chip. i tried the carrot cake cookie and found it to be dry, underwhelming. 6.3 4. l’industrie- my sister has been living in b... Escazu, San Jose Costa Rica: What to Know41m agoJohn Quam, Editor-in-Chief, Howler Real Escapes Costa Rica: [Website Article](https://howlermag.com/escazu-san-jose-costa-rica-what-to-know/) By late afternoon, when the Central Valley light turns soft and the mountains start catching shadows, Escazu shows its best side. This corner of Escazu, San Jose, Costa Rica, has a reputation for polished storefronts, elegant homes, and international convenience, but that only tells half the story. Spend a little time here and you find a place where village roots, modern ambitions, and some of the country’s most practical lifestyle advantages live side by side. For many international readers, Escazu is the first neighborhood they hear about when Co... Storybook Mtn 2018 Est Resv Zinfandel43m agoBaching it tonight watching the original Star Wars movie, eating a grocery store bought spaghetti and meatballs dinner, and drinking Storybook Mountain '18 Napa Estate reserve Zin, 14.5%. Good sipping and dinner wine. Soft red fruit, soft tannins, bit earthy, leathery. Gotta get back to the movie and see if they get off the imperial cruiser. First attempt, seeking feedback44m agoI’m really enjoying writing the dialogue. What I’m struggling with is conveying the protagonist’s wants or the urgency that’s driving the story forward if that makes sense. It feels like things are just happening to her, but I’m trying to walk a fine line between her being at the beginning of her arc (where she becomes more aware of what she wants / learns to take more responsibility for it), and still having agency in her situation. For context, here’s a very rough attempt at the query (no comps yet—if anyone can recommend something to read pls let me know. But Unbearable Lightness of Being is a big influence for me) : “At thirty, Em decides her film degree no longer count... Question about Grocery Store Redemption?46m agoSo I went to giant eagle today, and there was an 11% cash back offer, up to $15 (it was supposed to exclude liquor, gift cards, tobacco products, lottery tickets, etc). I did my grocery shopping, and also got a visa gift card for $200 bucks for my nephews graduation. I then chose to claim the offer, and it gave me a QR code that was linked to my credit card to use to pay with. By my calculation, I should have gotten $6.50 off of the grocery purchases. Instead, it gave me the full $15, as it included the $200 gift card purchase. It isn't in a pending state, the full $15 is available for me to "cash out" with (and was minutes after the purchase). Given that the offer exclu... Seriously Upside????48m agoAnyone else hear the ****** Upside radio commercial about getting cash back from shopping at “Kroger stores in the Jacksonville area” I got so excited for a second that we were getting a Kroger What’s going on? Safeway Used to be Top Tier.48m agoI shopped for years at the Tenleytown Safeway for years before Georgetown Day School purchased it. The staff, the quality of products, the deals, the location. All around perfect (that was 11yrs ago) I found my way to the East-West Highway that was a close second for many years in my opinion. I can pinpoint exactly when or where they went off the rails but I had my last straw with them a few weeks ago. In my silly nostalgia to brand loyalty, I’ve tried Greenbelt numerous times. Never been even mildly enthused with the experience. Used Instacart to grab a few item and in Greenbelt they expect shoppers to carry $50 with frozen items, multiple loose drinks and other miscellaneous items in th... Immediately we went into a store and bought a water. Came out and walked across the street from him back to my house. Apparently he was looking at us a lot. I never looked to see. Prop 13 Repeal Question56m agoHere are my thoughts on a very popular push to repeal Prop 13. Help give me some thoughtful reasons why this doomsday thinking is incorrect. It would forces thousands of businesses to either raise prices or shut down. It would force millions of homeowners to sell their homes and most likely leave the state. This would cause a mega-stagflation type of event and would torpedo the California economy. The local dive bar that’s been around for 40 years, will now have to charge $20 for a drink that currently costs $6 to make up for paying property taxes. Flower shops, local grocery and hardware stores, the same thing… Many businesses will need to sell or close. Rent will increase subst... Help me pick my next skin purchase58m agoTitle basically. Do any of you guys have a perfect staff?1h agoI don’t really mean pitch perfect but I mean 75% knows everything and is decently fast at bread start. At our store it’s literally 2 in shops who can run line fast and then 2 managers me and my GM who can so fr 4 people can run line efficiently and proper. It’s a pure **** show at my store. Our GM wants to “only hire from within” so friends of our employees but the people we keep hiring are from a lazy asf group of friends. We have 2 employees one autistic one with schizophrenia and both freak tf out once we get a rush and either break **** freak out or literally leave and take a “break”.
