Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Liquor Store Latest Community Discussions About Liquor Stores in USMy 32F husband 35M made a big deal about my phone buzzing while he was eating dinner. How can I explain why it felt cont...2h agoWe have been together 8 years married 3. My husband has a drinking problem. He's been drinking 2 bottles of 100 proof alcohol plus at least 12 beers a week. It's been this way for months. He's tried to stop a couple times but it just gets worse each time he starts back. It only lasts 2 days at a time. He's not a mean drunk. I usually can't even tell he's been drinking until 10pm when he's starting to sway and his eyes glass over. We've had problems in the past (it's been better the last year or so) with him being controlling and irritated with small things. It's made me feel like I'm walking on egg shells. Things like: I didn't pu... Thoughts on people who eat items before paying?2h agoI’ve had surprisingly mixed responses about this when asking coworkers but I personally despise when customers start eating something I just gave them. I know it doesn’t affect me if they don’t end up paying, but it still rubs me the wrong way. I’ve worked as a cashier before and at least daily have had people put empty wrappers on the belt and tell me to throw out their trash after I scan it. So yes; you did pay, but now I’m cleaning up after you and potentially touching something you put your mouth on? That’s disgusting. I also don’t care that you’re a flustered parent opening something to feed your screaming kid to keep them quiet. If you know your kid is going to misb... What do you guys think of this idea to have more fun in Pax Dei?2h agoI’ve been thinking about Pax Dei and its current state. I've beeen reading the reviews in this forum for a while now and I get where most views are coming from. But still I still see this game as not just as a game to grind, but as a world that could support something bigger.. A cooperative settlement where players build together, trade together, and shape a living economy. Thats basically the idea of Pax at its core, I know; but as we've all seen, the playerbase is a bit scattered. I think one common goal would give players permission to believe in something together again. Ive thought of an idea, or more so a social experiment. The idea isn’t to create another small clan ... ****** mangers are gone!2h agoAbout a year ago my local and closest AMAZING Publix went though some management changes. The long lasting store manager retired and was replaced by a new guy. In addition, there were shake ups in every department, enter the worst deli manager ever! Over the next several months every department endured a shittification for the books. I finally stopped doing my primary shopping there. I went in the other day and saw the store mangers picture was gone and the deli manager had been replaced. Somehow apparently she got promoted to an assistant store manager so if a woman with the initial A shows up as your ASM Good. *******. Luck. But good for me! It couldn’t get worse than it did this past ye... Why the **** for travel to India?2h agoI noticed that whenever there is the question "where would you never go to again", India always comes up. I (female, mid twenties) recently went to India, doing some solo and some group travel and had an amazing time, it was one of the most fun trips I've taken. Started in Pune and had a great time shopping, the whole streets dedicated to jewellery and fabric and the ease of getting clothes tailored made shopping a dream. Haggling was fun and always felt good-spirited. Then I went to Aurangabad for the incredible fort and caves, again was great to see the ancient history and religious monuments. Went to Dehradun which felt like a sort of bizarre Indian vegas, but was very ... Selling in a physical store vs building a digital brand: a big difference people underestimate2h agoSelling from a shop and building a brand online are two very different games. When you sell **only in a physical store (offline)**, your growth is limited by location. Your clients are mostly people who pass by, live nearby, or hear about you locally. Once the shop closes, sales usually stop. Your reputation exists mainly in conversations, not in assets you control. When you build a **digital brand**, you are not just selling products — you are building visibility, trust, and memory. Here’s the key difference: * **Offline selling = daily transactions** You earn when the door is open. No content, no reach, no long-term leverage. * **Digital brand = long-term asset** Your content, re... Take Merchandise Out Before Paying?2h agoIf this were just an "every once in a while" occurrence it would make more sense, but this happens all day every day. I need to know how many of you allow customers to take their merchandise that has already been bagged to their car while you're still ringing the rest of their stuff. It happens so frequently at my job that it feels like customers are just doing this (or attempting to do this) everywhere. I can't think of a single place I shop at that would let me take unpaid merchandise out of the store. Master Store Closure List (2026)2h agoSince it's impossible to find a master list, comment below if you can confirm a store closing this month. It's always sad to see stores close, but in the long run it will help keep the company profitable and around for a long time! Share City, state, and Mall/shopping center name. Who remembers the caff in Lewis' with the amazing view of prom'? Used to love going there after school before I discovered pubs. Was such a great department store in general. I do feel sad for those who who grew up after we lost all the cool shops. Spider records: Chelsea girl: Army and Navy; Rawcliffes for school uniform and of course, Burton's bakeries and the pet shop by Yates' Any other memories of lost shops? Good times Bottle redemption success?2h agoI asked a store manager today if I could return some soda bottles since they charged a bottle deposit. He said yes it's a law in the state but we don't take them back. I tried to return them to about 4 other grocery stores or liquor stores but no dice. I purchased them at CVS back in the fall and they were on clearance. Has anyone experienced this and got their money back? I am at a loss and will maybe just call the 800 cvs number. Ace of Batons (Paul Marteau translation)2h ago[Left to Right: Bibliothèque Nationale à Paris; Yale Library; Ancien Tarot de Marseille](https://preview.redd.it/sxrcl91uatdg1.jpg?width=959&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f29b4bb80be83bb7313eecac36f5ccbba74b431) **Essential Meaning** [](#_edn1) The green baton, club shaped, with its branches cut off and held vertically in a firm hand, indicates a material energy formed by a condensation of universal life, shown by the fact that its useless extensions have been pruned away.[\[ii\]](#_edn2) The Ace of Batons is the synthesis of the whole suit: it contains, in germ, everything that the nine following cards express, and the way these cards unfold that germinal content... My Villain's Land Thoughts (that no one asked for)2h agoIf this land ever happens, here are some of my predictions/wishes: Some of these are just ideas I feel they could incorporate that I see less mentioned in discussions. 1. Maleficent Coaster: I feel like the Maleficent coaster is a given. I feel like there will be some dark ride components like Tiana's and Mine Train. Would love to see some Sleeping Beauty animatronics and a huge dragon animatronic. 2. Figurine Shop: I could definitely see a shop where the witch from Brave sells wooden carvings and figurines. I feel like this is an easy concept and a great specialty shop. 3. Descendants: I know older generations might not be too keen on this idea, but I am almost certain they will incl... Suddenly no customers after around 4pm?2h agoI'm running into something strange I haven't seen before across over a year of play and all previous game versions. I fully acknowledge and expect the problem lies in my mods, though I haven't had this issue before with them either. I'd really appreciate if anyone has seen this before and has any clues that could help. I started a new save and everything was completely normal, until around day 15 or so when I noticed I had almost no one in my store throughout the whole evening. I might see a few trickle in after 4pm, maybe one after 5pm, and then nothing for the entire last four hours. The streets have NPCs, but perhaps less than usual? Once or twice I have noticed one w... (Arguably) First time visitor reviews!2h agoI say arguably because the last time I visited, I was barely an adult, had no money, and spent very little time in your wonderful city. This time I spent 3 nights and was mostly solo (I could meet up with a group that I knew would be there, but I mostly ran around on my own). **Hotel Saint Vincent:** loved. I chose the smallest room and it was great for one person. Loved staying in the lower Garden District. The bar was small and really nice. **La Petite Grocery:** lovely atmosphere, delicious. Get the pickle jar! **Commander's Palace:** celebrated with a friend and they put balloons at our table and gave us fun paper hats to wear. We loved the food and the service. I had a peca... AITAH for leaving her behind ?2h agoOver the winter break, I was watching someone’s dog, we’ll call the owner S and the dog O. Now, I have a part-time job, and was waiting for my first paycheck during this time. I was strapped for cash, I mean, *strapped* for cash. I was donating plasma when I could and was using After-pay/Klarna for my meals, groceries, to get to/from work, etc. I normally use Rover to book clients and have been doing so for almost four years. This was the first time that I’ve ever taken a job outside of Rover. S had posted on a forum that’s popular in my area, and I’ve used it before to sell my jewelry, meet new friends, find events, etc. There’s always a risk with using an online forum, but I... No Longer Plus3h agoI have shopped exclusively at Torrid since they first hit the malls as a plus size Hot Topic. I evolved with the store, and I'm now in my early 40s. I started Zepbound for Sleep Apnea and it's doing it's job - the weight loss has vastly improved my OSA. I never mind being plus size, but I'm officially in a size 10 now and am sizing out of Torrid. I'm not much for going out shopping, online is preferred. By any chance, do you gorgeous ladies have a suggestion for shops that sell similar styles at similar price points... and hopefully those great cash rewards & sales? I'm quite literally at a loss because the last time I wore straight sizes, I was 11 yea... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
