Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Liquor Store Latest Community Discussions About Liquor Stores in USWhich one has the larger rocks?44m agoHello everyone. I’m looking to add some rocks to my home and was wondering which is the bigger rock? Product specification states one as pebbles and the other River pebbles. Both are size small. I know I can just go there but I don’t live too close to this Home Depot and customer service representative isn’t helpful. Thank you in advance. Advice on in person stores in SoCal44m agoHi! I’m hoping people can recommend some places down in SoCal for in person shopping and try on of skates and safety gear. Specific areas I’m looking for are 1) San Diego - Point Loma adjacent though willing to drive a bit for a good store. And 2) Los Angeles - DTLA area but am happy to swing by Venice/Santa Monica for good places to check out. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! For long-term owners: which electric scooters have actually survived years of daily use without battery decay, loose ste...46m agoI’ve been trying to figure out whether any electric scooter can genuinely qualify as a “buy it for life” item. Most of the ones I’ve seen in stores look great at first, but once you start riding them daily, all the weak points begin to show; stem wobble, batteries losing range, chargers failing, or controllers overheating after a long hill climb. It’s hard to tell if that’s just expected wear or a sign of poor engineering. I’ve been browsing a mix of sources just to compare build styles, local shops, the usual big online retailers, and even some OEM designs that pop up on marketplaces when you search deeply enough. What surprised me is how many brands seem to be using the sam... Journal of a Japanese Businessman47m agoMarch It has been three years since I arrived in Japan. I came on a government contract and stayed longer than expected. Part of me wanted to see where my father grew up, to walk the same streets, to hear the same language he made sure I learned. “I learned from my father, and he from his,” he used to say. I never appreciated it back then. Now, I know better. He left Japan in his late twenties and eventually met my mother in Alabama after a work trip with US Steel took him to Birmingham. She was a waitress in a restaurant in the city. He hadn’t quite grasped the concept of tipping. After leaving, his coworkers were ribbing him about how the waitress was staring daggers at him. He ... I tipped $0 and I’m mad about it48m agoSo I ordered 5 items from a Dollar General a little over a mile from me and tipped $6.50. I don’t go overboard with tips because I learned it just ends up making my order take longer somehow but it’s important that they are tipped, even just for selfish reasons. Apparently, Door Dash will split orders after checkout between stores, so when you shop at a franchise they will include the whole stock even if it’s not in the store if it’s available elsewhere. Initially that sounds like good feature if you’re not worried about the dasher or the safety of your delivery. Turns out they will make it a double dash with a completely new dasher, and one of the two dashers won’t get a tip. ... Chai tea lovers: what’s your go-to chai tea mix/concentrate spot?49m agoI LOVE chai latte, especially masala chai. There’s a chai tea shop in Berkeley that makes an amazing one, but I want to start making chai at home every day since it’s getting cold. For those of you who drink chai regularly — Do you buy chai tea mix/teabags/concentrate from a store or online? What’s your go-to brand? I’ve tried Tazo and Trader Joe’s, but not a fan. They taste too commercial and kind of fake to me. Would love recommendations for something authentic and flavorful❤️ Thanks! Sober(dot)store50m agoWas rewatching the A-Z alcohol video and chad mentions how they’ll used the wine stained version for sober(dot)store has there been any further mentioned of it cause the website is still password locked and copyrighted for 2024 maybe it’s the Chinese yogurt effect? 🤔🤔🤔 What’s your go-to chai tea mix/concentrate spot?51m agoI LOVE chai latte, especially masala chai. Gift Ideas Actually Good for People, the Planet, and your Wallet!!!51m agoBy January 2nd, I'm already feeling the sugar coma and the immune system crash. The holidays are amazing, but the endless cycle of sweets, booze, and fast fashion kills our health and creates mountains of trash. Here’s some inspo if you need a meaningful, non-toxic, anti-consumerist gift ideas. DM me if you need links for recipes or tutorials as I wasn’t able to post them here! • DIY Laundry Detergent: Reuse old containers and skip the toxins (seriously detergent has so much gross chemicals) and plastic in store-bought detergent. This recipe omits essential oils but I would add citrus or lavender. It’s cheap to make, and they’ll think of you with every fresh load! • Imm... 👋🏼 Welcome to r/CityHeights - Introduce Yourself and Read First!52m agoHey everyone! Bringing home a “bodega cat” - seeking advice54m agoHi everyone! I work at a florist in NYC and we have a "bodega cat" that has been living here for about 10 years. She's never been outside of our store, she's the friendliest cat I've ever met in my life and she has bonded to me ever since I started working here a few years ago (she was not well taken care of before I started working here, just litter box and whatever cheap food they could find.) I immediately started buying her different food, gave her a bed and toys, and clean her whenever I can, and she has now become my baby and follows me around all day and snuggles me! She's never been to a vet before, received any vaccinations, never been groomed, etc. Th... Caleb Stonewall Hero in Spirit Shop54m agoDoes anyone have him i want to know what kind of passiv he has. Spirit Run, into Hearts57m agoDoing a spirit run from distilled potatoes on a cold autumn day. The 8 gallon bain-marie pot still is starting with 6 gallons of 40% ABV low wines. After pulling foreshots, and collecting about 3 quarts of heads, the still is going into hearts at 80% ABV, running at 182ºF inside the boiler, 179ºF at the top of the column, with about 1 pound of pressure on the water jacket. I've contacted Cindy Beauty Supply, and it seems they do not require a license to shop. I was wondering if there are any more in the area that are worth visiting. I'm mainly looking for Kiara Sky, Chaun Legend, and Apres polishes since my local supply does not carry them.
