Thank you! Stores in Chicago area3h agoHello, fellow summoners! Does anyone have a good recommendation of stores in Chicago where I can buy some Origins/SpiritForged sealed products? How much does a display box usually sells for? -- a friend of mine is visiting in a few weeks and I'm thinking of asking him to buy me some stuff over there. Thanks in advance! Grocery/Meal Planning for 33h agoI don’t know if my toddler is leveling up but now I feel like I’m feeding a full sized human. With the two snacks a day and rotation of family meals and back up meals, I feel like we’re always running low on food. My husband pointed out we should probably shop as if we’re meal prepping for 4 people instead of 2. I grew up with food insecurity issues so this constant need to go to the store and meal prepping is stressing me out. So my question to this group is, how are you grocery and meal planning when your toddler starting to eat almost as much as you are? Long-tailed lizard in a 18x18x24?3h agoI saw a long tailed lizard at my local reptile shop and found this kit for $50 bucks on Facebook marketplace. Would this be enough space for 1, the people at the pet store said a 12x12x18 but that doesn’t sound right at all. Painter of the South Shore: Part 13h agoAugust 14th, 1936: Sarah and I are finally settling into our new house, which is a breath of fresh air. The past few weeks of living here have been rough, much rougher than we initially thought. We knew that moving this far from home was going to be a risk. Having to completely start anew, but with the price of the house we couldn't not jump at the chance, plus our old house was a dump to say the least. The people here are fine, quiet, but usually pretty polite for the most part. I've been into some of the stores here and the older folk seemed to be a bit rude, staring a little too long when I walked past, but hopefully they'll warm up in the coming weeks. Shopify website store design3h agofirst prose thing, not sure if it’s good or has potential3h agoi randomly got bored and created this, not even sure where the story is going… i usually write poetry…… is this any potential ?? I sit on the curb and watch, mostly. How the barista hums along with the radio as she opens shop; how the mailman steps over the same crooked crack; how the florist showers her rose garden at exactly twelve-oh-three each afternoon– other than Sundays. I don’t move, I just note how the world keeps its patterns while I watch, how these unnamed people I’ve observed since moving here follow their own beat, their own rhythm. Somedays, I’ll shift off the curb and onto my creaking porch, head kneeled back in my mother’s rocking chair, as I observe t... Fun Prosecco Based Cocktail Special3h agoHey guys just wanted to showcase a cocktail I put together for this weekend as a special. I work at a wine/craft beer bar so no liquor based cocktails as we don't have the license for it. Decided to make a prosecco based cocktail. Lemon juice, simple, basil, and cucumber topped with prosecco. Anyone else have experience getting creative with cocktails and using non traditional alcohol to do so? Tastes incredible and pairing with a fish special this weekend! Kroger in Louisville3h agoI've been hunting bourbon country for a few days and it's been slim pickings on the tequila side but thanks to a year old reddit post I found my way to a Kroger liquor store and it did not disappoint. I was able to grab 3 bottles since I am flying and have limited bag space but I could have grabbed so much more. Arette square bottle Anejo $35, Siempre Vivo $50, and Prolijo Blanco for $40. Some of the best pricing I have ever seen. I'm adding images of some of the other bottles and prices they had.
