I’m really enjoying writing the dialogue. What I’m struggling with is conveying the protagonist’s wants or the urgency that’s driving the story forward if that makes sense. Went for a walk tonight with my roommate. He was sitting outside a coffee shop looking on his phone. Immediately we went into a store and bought a water.
