we live in ny and someone in tx somehow got my family member's card info and stole all the money the second it hit their account (they didnt have the card locked or out of state spending locked). we contacted the local food stamp department and they said they're sending a new card but can't reimburse them. we talked to the cops and they said they can't really do anything (in ny) so my question is i was able to get access to the store they stole it from with the address. can i contact the texas pd and give them the info and they try to find the person?
