Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Kohls Store Latest Community Discussions About Kohl'sHow to transfer departments? Hard or easy to do so?4h agoBasically, been in the same department for a couple years and want a change—partly as the store doesn’t understand the departments’ needs and I shouldn’t spend half a day or more cleaning up multiple departments and days of freight when coming back from my days off while management just ignored it until I come back. Then spend much of the same 1-2 other days out of 5 days work similarly between trying to make it actually function halfway decently. Feel like I’m just a crutch at this point as go from one F&C area to the next just trying to put out fires these days before it flares back up again when I’m off work. Can’t keep it up as they won’t hold others accountabl... Distracted Driving Awareness Month4h ago**April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month** **Drivers are urged to keep their eyes forward and hands on the wheel** Post Date: 04/29/2026 4:00 PM **Santa Clara, Calif.** – April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month and the Santa Clara Police Department wants to remind drivers to stay focused, keep their eyes forward and hands on the wheel. Distractions like checking a phone, using the in-dash touchscreen or car phone app, adjusting the radio, or eating can have devastating consequences. “Distracted driving continues to put everyone on the road at risk,” said Chief of Police Cory Morgan. “When drivers take their eyes off the road, even for a few seconds, liv... Trying to remember the name5h agoSo a few years ago, I was working and a woman came into the store and her perfume was incredible. I asked her what it was and of course I can’t remember the name of course but this is what I do remember: •The bottle was a round shape, kind of like a disc and I believe it was a clear light blue/green color. Resembled a water drop • The scent was what I could describe as fresh clean water may be a hint of ocean and fresh laundry • the price of it could definitely be different now, but I remember it being close to almost $200 • it had a name that I had never heard of(hence why I can’t remember lol) but it wasn’t something I have ever noticed at a department store and I remembe... Prime Hours--any crossed trained employee working is counted towards picking slots5h agoDoes anyone have more clarity on how the prime hours thing works? Today I spent about 45 minutes deleting cross-trained employees who barely work in my department from the system because from approx. 7a-2p, any employee that is scheduled throughout the store and has numbers in the DUG system is counted towards available slots. For months, I have been drowning, trying to figure out what we were doing wrong to always be behind, even when pickers numbers were passable, everyone showed up, and shelves were properly stocked. Now I know why--because we were cross-training *everyone* to minimize the struggles, only to actually be making the issues worse by doing so. Now I am trying to figure out ... [New Player] Would I enjoy this game?5h agoI've been hooked on Escape from Duckov since it released having put over 300 hours into the game. For those of you that don't know, it's a singleplayer top down version of Tarkov, with ducks. I knew it was based on Tarkov but I didn't know to what extent till I finally decided to check out the game it is inspired by. Turns out two bosses were even added in a crossover event, Killa and Tagilla, they were tough as balls to kill in Duckov when I first encountered them, I was interested enough to see what the original bosses looked like and the devs did a great job of really porting them over as ducks with their original helmet designs from Tarkov. I've been looking i... Fed up with Luxury Colabs5h agoAnother collaboration with a luxury company. I get that they are a higher end doll brand, but come on! The adult dresses for this brand, Hill House, are like $178+ and baby and kid clothes are $80+. Why spend that kind of money on a romper or dress for an infant that will outgrow it in 4-6 weeks? I wish they would be more inclusive of their customer base (the majority of which are middle class) and do a colab with a middle class store like Target or Kohls. Wells Hall Update from MSU Police6h agoWhy I stopped looking into retail7h agoThe last interview I had at a department store was for a part time position that my then job coach set up for me. The interview went well. 2 people interviewed me and said they'll call me to follow up. A few hours later, they called back. They say that even though I was a good candidate, it was my availability that was the main issue. I thanked them for giving me the opportunity and wished them well and left it at that. I was disappointed as this wasn't the first time with a retail position ending up the same way. The couple of interviews I had before this one within months apart ended with the same reasoning: Availability At the time, I was a part-time college student, so... very short stay in Milano / Torino - lodging, amari and logistics questions7h agoI might have the opportunity to find myself in Milan and/or Turin for a very brief time - either about 24 hours, or maybe 48, arriving from MXP in the early afternoon (13:20 arrival) and departing from MXP in the early afternoon (15:20 departure). This would be a Saturday arrival and a Sunday or Monday departure. It may be this weekend (1-3 May). I have never been to Italy but will save Seeing Italy for another time. I can easily entertain myself for the time I'm there at the Centro Storico Fiat and/or Museo Alfa Romeo, and the cathedral or etc. I could stay in Milan or take the train to Turin and spend the night there, or both if I stay the extra day. 1)In either city, I'm ... department change7h agohey all. without getting into specifics i requested to my hr etl to change departments at our store. problem is that im a normal tm who is very crucial to keeping the front running for the store whom my etl loves a lot. is there any way for my etl to block me from changing departments? I’ve been building an Airtable service business for the past 4 years, focused on brands that create products.7h ago[me at TBTG HQ trying on a device](https://preview.redd.it/2ido9ql537yg1.jpg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d54a1d32cb3dd4f72d82e147bb4224c12971606) I’ve worked with brands across fashion, CPG, jewellery, and homeware, building operating systems for their teams that span from initial inspiration to launching products on their websites. We’re not famous, but our clients are. REPRESENT and Corteiz who create and launch products in different ways. Wild, who got bought by Unilever for £500M after 5 years. The Beauty Tech Group who just IPO’d… The thing that unites them all is that they do things differently when it comes to product, how they operational... Anyone else just not shop on Amazon anymore because of returns?7h agoAnd I'm not talking about any gripes with the process itself or anything of the sort. This is about Amazon products themselves. I'm just saying that...after seeing the sheer VOLUME of items that go through just our single store just during my shift just turns me away from ever shopping with them at all. I will only ever buy food off Amazon now because of how many faulty products I see on the daily. It's personally sickening to me the clear lack of QC at Amazon in any department. New research suggests irradiation does not fully degrade fungi or residual toxins in cannabis7h agoThe findings of a new study challenge the effectiveness of irradiation to completely address total yeast and mould (CFU) counts in dried cannabis. The study raises concerns about potential health risks for vulnerable or immunocompromised cannabis users. The [researchers at McGill University](https://www.mcgill.ca/newsroom/channels/news/irradiated-cannabis-might-still-harbour-toxic-fungi-and-residues-mcgill-study-finds-370344) emphasize the need for better safeguards and more effective remediation methods, noting that even irradiated cannabis might still contain toxic fungi and residues. A total of twelve cannabis samples were analyzed for the study. Two of those samples, one irradiated... Has anyone in patrol actually had a real life scenario similar to the ones presented to you during your oral interviews?7h agoI’m wanting to help update pre-employment panel oral interview questions and am looking for input and suggestions from current patrol officers of all tenure. Considering the issues facing police officers today, what kind of modern day scenarios do you think applicants should be presented with during their pre-employment oral interview? These scenarios help gauge an applicant’s maturity, ability to make sound moral and ethical decisions, integrity under pressure, professionalism, confidence in enforcing the laws and department’s P&P’s in spite of peer pressure or personal connections to victims/suspects, problem solving skills and emotional maturity. Example: Years ago, a ... Walmart +7h agoSo my store is picking people from every department to push Walmart + and I got lucky enough to be the one from OPD. What do you guys do to hussle Walmart+? I feel like I'm gonna be bored out of my mind standing at a table handing out candy telling people about the gas discount and free whopper. Cloud or Physical storage for a digital media library?7h agoI'm soon going to be ripping and attempting to store a huge library of DVDs (2,000+) in a way that is accessible for others in my department, and I'm debating between a Cloud Storage service or a physical NAS. My only concern with a NAS is how others will have access to it (is it possible to be connected via a wireless network or is Ethernet the only way?), and my big concern with Cloud Storage is the cost. Right now, some of the films have been uploaded on Panopto because the institution pays for it, but it seems a little inefficient and not user-friendly, in my opinion. Suggestions from those who have large digital media libraries? Town Pump Card Skimmers8h ago[Saw this on Facebook, be aware folks](https://preview.redd.it/dlr8pob4u6yg1.png?width=675&format=png&auto=webp&s=17bbc8a1784d11a77cb1cae7e06f203d66ebab53) Pickup8h agoAnybody who is in pickup Which department at your store is unfriendly to pickup??? Why would she do that?8h agoPata hai aaj kya hua? A girl came to our store (an electronics/home appliances store) with her father. She was around 20–21 years old. I(32M, married) was explaining voltage stabilizers to her father, he wanted to buy one for his air conditioner. We were both standing to the side, while she was sitting on a chair. She had covered her face with a dupatta but from her beautiful kohl-lined eyes, you could tell her age. Anyway, she was watching the two of us while we were talking. The store was quite crowded yet her gaze remained fixed on us. I wasn’t looking at her directly but she was within my field of vision so I could clearly notice what she was doing. After a while, she took out... Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
