Hey everyone, I could use some advice. I was working at Ralphs and got suspended for a week pending an investigation. During that time, I tried reaching out to my union rep but never heard back. I ended up getting another job, so I texted both my store manager and department head letting them know I was quitting, but neither of them responded. I was suspended starting Thursday (which is payday), and the following week I did receive the pay for the hours I had already worked. However, I still haven’t received my vacation pay, which is the only thing I’m waiting on now. From what I understand, in California they’re supposed to pay out unused vacation when you leave, but I’m not sure...

Hi all. I'm not looking for moral advice, I know shoplifting is wrong and I will never do it again. My question is, if I stole from a store (big department store) and they did not catch me in the act, but might have video evidence, can they call the cops and have me arrested upon entering the store again, even if I don't steal again?
