Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Kohls Store Latest Community Discussions About Kohl'sFormer CEO is not happy with me2h agoI need some perspective on a crazy situation. I started at a startup in an entry level role. When I arrived, the four of us were drowning in manual work with a deadline of less than 15 days. I built an automated system that delivered everything on time. The owner was impressed. I sent him a letter listing my wins for that project and other projects I had built as well. I asked for a $90k salary and a title change. The Business Lead has been with the owner for years. They’ve built and sold companies together before. She used to be the CEO here, but the owner recently moved her out of that role and into “leadership” (her actual duties are vague). She spends her days coming into my offi... What is virtual office Bahrain?2h agoOur goal is to dispel the myths surrounding virtual offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Many people associate "virtual office" with disembodied operations, like a ghost in a machine. In actuality, though, it offers a practical and strategic business solution—a versatile framework that enables businesses to project a professional image without being constrained by a conventional physical workspace.\ \ In order to give you a thorough grasp of this cutting-edge business model, we will delve into the nuances of what a virtual office in Bahrain comprises, examining its elements, advantages, and operational aspects. A virtual office is a comprehensive service package that combines the f... Coworker says she deserves more because shes a mother?3h agoSo I (29f) work in retail at a well known grocery store chain. I have only ever worked in retail and started when I was around 20 years old. I noticed at these jobs that most of the other employees are people in their early 20's or even younger, which makes sense as I believe retail is one of the jobs that most young people start with when they start working/going to college. That being said, I also noticed that there are usually a few "older" people working in these positions as well, but usally there are fewer compared to the 20 somethings. At my current job, I would say about 80% of my coworkers (just taking into account my departments) are younger than 22, and most of thos... Pro Desk - How is it going since the Unified Pro launch?3h agoHello all! Since the launch of Unified Pro, I am curious to hear your team's experience with both PSAs and PASAs. How did your store handle those who were already in the department prior to the launch, but who did not want to open availability to include nights and weekends? Is your schedule allowing coverage for both the register(s) and phone sales from open to close, seven days a week? Charged for part not installed on car.. am I crazy?3h ago**TLDR:** I was quoted for a part that I suspect wasn't installed on my vehicle but am having trouble verifying. The shop owner hasn't been forthcoming and won't show redacted parts invoices unless I go in-person - but the parts dealer that listed on the quote for the part says they can't even order this part because it was a limited edition trim piece, and they don't have record of an order from the collision shop for this piece. **Full background:** I own an older car ('07 Honda Element) that was declared a total loss by insurance, primarily because it was discontinued in '12 but has a cult following - so parts are harder to come by/more expensive. I ... Feeling so sad right now4h agoI had my husband (Q) leave a couple of months ago. He has nothing, has not worked in a long time due to significant health issues (which could be a big contributor to this relapse). I am in recovery myself (in February I will be celebrating ten years, I will keep working every day). He was hospitalized a few days ago. Never made it to an actual room, was in the ED for three days. Our local hospital is extremely taxed, so admits from the ED are being treated in that department for long periods of time. His doctors fought to keep him longer (he has had long medical stays, sometimes for months in the past). But their team ultimately decided to discharge him. It was the wee hours of the morn... The Miracle of Love4h agoHave you ever noticed that Mawlana Hazar Imam is almost always seen in a crisp white shirt? What if, deep in your heart, you wished to see Him wearing something different , not out of curiosity, but out of love? And what if that wish was so sincere that it moved you to act, without logic or expectation, simply from the heart? The following is a miracle as related by the person who experienced it. **The Offering** Around that time in April 2009, the person recounts being out shopping when two coloured shirts in a designer store caught her attention. Her first thought was not about herself, but: these would look beautiful on Mawlana Hazar Imam. Though her rational mind hesitated, her heart... Rotisserie Pay & PTO4h agoHello. I’ve been working for Sam’s going on 6 months in February. I am already full time, with a rotisserie position. I started off as a Meat Cutter/Wrapper starting off at $16/hr. I am hearing from my team lead that Rotisserie isn’t apart of the meat department anymore but rather with HMS, and that the start rate is $18/hr. Is it different for each store? Do I need to speak with my managers regarding my pay? and Also, I am just now receiving PTO for my full time position. I started the end of September working 40/week but my first PTO I received was last week. Any advice? Why do we trust unknown formulas on our faces??4h agoMy sister uses face cream for glowing skin that she ordered from overseas without knowing actual ingredients or formulations. The cream promises radiant complexion through natural ingredients but the packaging is mostly in language she can't read. She applies it daily based purely on before/after photos that could easily be manipulated or fake. She'd found it through beauty influencer recommendation linking to overseas suppliers with attractive pricing. The face cream costs fraction of department store products which seemed like smart shopping initially to save money. We put things on our skin from sources we know nothing about because they're cheap and promise results. Her g... Is Timothy Kauffman right that St. Cyprian didn't teach the papacy?4h agoYesterday I came across a Protestat YouTube channel and he interviewed former Catholic and now Protestant Timothy Kauffman and one of his arguments was that St. Cyprian of Carthage never taught the papacy or the primacy of St. Peter and I wondered what you thought about it, below I have included the video along with the transcript; >Okay one last quote and this is from Cyprian of Carthage from whom we heard a little bit earlier now Marcus Grodi and they one more quote from st. Cyprian McCarthy justice around the Year 251 in his letter the unity of the Catholic Church and let me read this the Lord says to Peter I say to you he says that you are Peter and upon this rock I will build m... [2 YoE, Scientist, Data Scientist, United States]5h agoMy background is a PhD in mathematics with an undergraduate degree in computer science. So I have a good mix of both mathematics and programming background. I am targeting roles such as Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Quantitative Researcher. I am primarily looking for jobs in and around NYC, focusing on hybrid or remote roles. Looking for any feedback on my resume as I'm struggling to receive any call backs for interviews or gain any real traction in my job search. What more can I do here to improve my chances? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks! [Page 1](https://preview.redd.it/i24kijzxm4eg1.png?width=5100&format=png&auto=webp&s=f19e121655aa04d4a0d633f8a7faa... In Minnesota, video captured ICE violently detaining two Target employees. One of the workers could be heard saying he was a citizen as he was taken away after being thrown to the ground inside the store entrance. A state lawmaker confirmed b... First Chapter of third book in a series of Southern Gothic tales6h ago# CHAPTER ONE # No Windows A tobacco curing barn wasn’t built to be pretty. It was built to be faithful. Out in Granville County, North Carolina, the old ones went up the same way families did—board by board, season by season, with no wasted effort and no extra softness. Pine or oak, whatever the land gave and a man could afford. A steep roof to throw off rain. Tight seams. Heavy doors. Most of them with no real windows at all—only narrow slats between planks, shutters you could crank open or cinch shut depending on the day. You didn’t want the outside getting too curious. You wanted control. Because curing wasn’t just drying. It was a slow surrender. You took green leaves... References to Real Life Events in Japan in Ato6h agoBeing the Japan event in AK, there are a couple of reference to things that people outside of Japan would probably find hard to get. First would be Haruka's village. This may be a reference to The Niigata Minamata Disease, a disease of mercury poisoning caused by industrial pollution in waterways in Niigata, Japan. Mercury can reach dangerous levels in water without affecting its taste or smell, and often causes poisoning through consumption of fish living in contaminated waters. You can read up more on it [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niigata_Minamata_disease) or [Aelen's twitter thread](https://x.com/aelen_altria/status/2012540684792951057?s=20). Second would be Lingones... I had to write a statement about a team lead, and I believe he retaliated.6h agoMy TL Bob (not real names used) gave me an incorrect coaching recently on a day my coach was gone. I had to write a statement about it the next day. (I didn’t deserve any coaching, I was supposed to just get notified that our department needs to pick up a little slack which makes sense due to external issues) I had this clarified when I talked to my coach the next day about what was said to me. Last week my coach was gone again. My TL went power happy. Unbeknownst to me he went off on multiple people. To myself he said I needed to stay beyond my scheduled time or “see what happens. To each their own”. Due to my coach not being in that day, I went to the store director for clarifica... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
