How does your team deal with promo changeover? Is it a team effort, or, are you doing a 40 hour work week trying to complete a 3 page merchandiser on your own? I’m currently a Grocery ATL and have been doing merchandising for over a year. Went in a department store today and found one of the new budget Barbie lineup for 2026! 💕 The dress is incredibly basic, but her face is so pretty! It is pixelated unfortunately, but the faceup reminds me so much of the older Barbies from the 2000’s. I was also surprised by the saran blonde she has considering that Mattel has been using polypropylene hair for their budget line consistently in the past. Every time I’ve been in to TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Burlington, etc it’s always the usual suspects. Mont Blanc, Coach, Versace the Dreamer, Perry Ellis, CR7. Now, I get why items end up in these places. Either QC issues or just lack of demand in regular department stores. For colognes I can’t imagine it’s QC, and it doesn’t just seem like stuff that won’t sell. In January 25 I bought a set of custom ear protection from a high street retailer. When I received them I realised that they were not designed for the purpose I had requested. They were to protect hearing during sport shooting and not for loud music and similar environments as requested. I discussed my concerns with the retailer and they were unwilling to resolve this through getting replacements made or a refund.
