I walked into my department today with 39 orders already placed for the day and my 5am opener an hour behind (for our store that is incredibly impossible to get under control while getting express orders and handoffs). Hi everyone, thanks in advance for any help you can give! My parents recently had to clean out and restart everything in their tank because of a horrible pink algae bloom that formed in the tank. I’m talking new gravel, decorations, filters, etc. for a couple weeks the water looked good and the fish were seeming to love the clean tank and then suddenly a fish went missing and we couldn’t find its body ANYWHERE. Over time the tank became foggy (I assumed from some quick googling that it was a bacterial bloom). I think theyre so scammy! I’m talking about those big ones in the department stores with the cool atmosphere and lighting. Every time I go to one of them I feel so cheated and unsatisfied.
