I've been renting a room from Vanmates in a shared house. Vanmates aren't the landlords, we're subletting from them. This is a single family dwelling. And we've got problems. The property has 7 rooms, 6 of which are managed by Vanmates, and we have 8 adults sharing common facilities, and another two who have their own kitchen, bathroom etc. So 10 adults residing, 8 from Vanmates.
