This is an example of NN75 store which is part of the F200. Included are new signage, new displays and a remodeled Finish Line. There was also a live DJ playing music by the cosmetics department. marked down for having “long, beautiful hair”9h agoi (20f) work at a department store. i’ve worked in every department over three years, but recently transferred to womenswear at the request of my managers, where i bounce between womenswear and women’s sleepwear/intimate apparel. we’re assessed on several things: • MIT (multi-item transactions) • UPT (units per transaction) • ATV (average transaction value) • SPH (sales per hour) • proportion of online orders placed compared to regular sales - to see if we’re “saving the sale” • proportion of loyalty cards scanned (82% target) • customer satisfaction, measured through surveys i’ve probably neglected other things, because i don’t care, and i’m sure yo... Has anyone worked at Hobby Lobby?9h agoMy local store is one of the few in the area staying open and I’m considering a part time position. I’ve done retail before but nothing in the craft department. Does anyone have any experience being there part time? Any benefits or discounts for employees? I found a box in my dad's room. I don't know what to do with what's inside.10h agoSo I just got back from burying my dad three days ago and I haven't really been sleeping. Tonight I went into his room to start going through his stuff. Not because I was ready, I'm not, but because standing in the hallway outside his door was starting to feel worse than just going in. He kept his room pretty sparse. My dad was not a stuff guy. A dresser, a bed, a nightstand with a lamp and a book he'd been reading for probably two years. I don't think he ever finished it. I don't know why that's the thing getting to me right now but it is. Anyway. Under the bed, pushed all the way to the back, you had to really reach for it. There was a box. Metal, like a doc... Obesity and Malnutrition (Subject: Public health)10h agoObesity and Malnutrition Name: Institutional affiliation Obesity and Malnutrition **Abstract** Obesity is a global health crisis with the number of individuals with the condition drastically increasing each year. Statistics indicate that over the past years, the number of persons who have obesity has increased dramatically. Obesity is attributed to the lack of access to nutritious food, the adoption of sedentary lives and genetic factors. The World Health Organization recognizes obesity at a prevalence that is soon to reach endemic levels. This research paper discusses the causes and the risk factors associated with obesity. The most common causes of obesity are the lack of phys... 100’x100’ pond PNW seeking mosquito insights10h agoWe live on the Olympic Peninsula. The \~100x100’ pond is going to be a mosquito colony before long. We don’t know how deep it is. It has very a steep “shoreline.” The neighbor says there’s a truck chassis in there. I suspect he’s exaggerating. The conservation district confirmed that there is no outlet into other waterways. I think it’s just filled by groundwater, though it looks like previous owners have directed all the outfalls from the gutters to the pond. We do not have a vector/mosquito control department in our county nor in any of the surrounding 3 counties. So, to control the mosquitoes I have: Planted lots of lemon balm, and citronella near the house. I ... Bart Starr advertising a Skil Drill. Popular Science Sep 1965 Issue10h agoHornwood, Inc. History of Lilesville NC. The company started in 1946 as Hornwood Warp Knitting Corporation.11h agoCopied from Page 4 of our Anson County Historical Society December 2016 Newsletter When you walk into Chuck Horne’s office at Hornwood, what stands out is a framed photograph of Joe DiMaggio of the New York Yankees swinging at a pitch in 1941 — the year he achieved a 56-game hitting streak, a record that still stands today. Horne, the company’s president, is proud that Hornwood creates the finished fabric for sports teams, including the Yankees uniforms with pin stripes. Over the years, the company has hit several economic home runs to reach its current status. The company buys yarn and converts it to finished fabrics, which can be used for a variety of purposes. Hornwood has colla... I’m lost and I need help.11h agoHello. I am here because I am at my wits end. I need your help and guidance on what to do. I am going to try and keep identifying information as little as I can, because I don’t want someone from my store seeing this. My mom believes we would have a case and that we should take this farther, but I’m scared it’ll all be a waste. A few months ago I had to place a workers comp due to an on-site “injury” regarding a TL forcing me to perform activities I communicated 3 times I did not feel comfortable doing because of my PRE-EXISTING disabilities and injuries. The on-site “injury” wasn’t anything huge, I was in pain and I knew it was because of my disabilities. I didn’t get di... Thrown out property refusal to compensate.11h agoHaving a bit of a problem at work with mine and my colleagues locker being disposed of while on break. A bit of context below… • Work as a contractor for BHP on a full time contract basis. • I reside in a BHP camp in port hedland with a full time room. • My colleague signed out a personal locker to store both of our belongings and while we were on a 16 day break we returned to an empty locker. • After 2 days of discussions they camp ESS is refusing to take responsibility stating that the form we signed said they hold no responsibility for our belongings even though they make us sign out the lockers and state the period of hire. • The lockers are in a locked room at camp wit... Sweater vests?11h agoWhich stores to shop for sweater vests. Houston Texas. I've tried the Mall department stores but no luck. Thanks. New charm, loving the pink on maple.11h agoI’m excited to get another silver charm as I mostly have brass. This was 1/2 off at Simon’s (Canadian department store) today which makes it, in my opinion, even better. Love a deal. New employee: How common are promotions from within?12h agoHi all, I was recently hired to work for the fulfillment team at Nordstrom. At first, I was hesitant to accept the position because I was looking for something a bit different that could directly contribute to my career. Ideally I'd like to eventually move up to a more administrative/back-of-house role that does not involve as much physical labor - whether it's supply chain, buyer positions, logistics, etc. Has anyone been able to move to a higher role other than just becoming a store/department manager? Is it possible/common? If so, what would this entail? I'd be open to something like operations manager, but after that, I'd ideally like to move to something more corp... I tested 6 customizable automation platforms for 90 days. Here’s my honest ranking.12h agoI run ops for a 200-person SaaS company. Every quarter I re-evaluate our automation stack because what works at 50 people breaks at 200. This time I spent 90 days testing six platforms that all claim to be "customizable." Here is what actually held up **1. Zapier** Best for teams that need customization without an engineering dependency Zapier keeps surprising me. The platform has moved well beyond simple trigger-action pairs. With conditional branching, Paths, AI-powered steps, and custom code blocks, we built automated workflows that rival what our engineering team used to hand-code. The Copilot feature let our marketing ops lead describe what she needed in plain English and g... If you could snap your fingers and have a full complete collection of one doll series, which would you choose?12h agoLike just BAM, every single doll from one line, even limited or collector's editions, no strings attached, all in-box as if they were fresh off the line. And yes, you're allowed to say every single Barbie, even though it's physically impossible to store one of every single individual Barbie doll ever produced in just one house. Personally, I don't know what to pick. On one hand Pinkie Cooper was such a niche pick for its time, but now it feels like every collector and their nanna wishes they could've gotten in on that. Same with Novi Stars. Something a little more personal for me would be Equestria Girls, but even I can admit that they aren't exactly high in th... Best eyeliner? Differences in quality and durability12h agoHi! I love my black eyeliners, but I haven't found a great one yet. I don't like kohl pencils, gel dip liners are too impractical and dry out, and I **** those with the flimsy little brushes. I'm on my third ink liner by Nyx, but they always start dripping and splashing after a while. I'd prefer waterproof, but smudge proof is fine too, and I don't want to break the bank. I've tried a few low budget eurooean drug store brands, but they've all lacked pigment and staying power. Often, my Biggest issue is the line cracking after a few hours. I've tried High end ones too, but the issue is always the same. Does anyone have a good recommendation? ... I’m 5’9 with a 35.5in inseam 😭 i’m graduating with my phd this summer (hopefully) and i’m looking for where to look for good graduation dresses? i’m hoping to stay under $150 but i want to try to avoid shein/fashion nova/etc. i’m open to various styles and colors. i have absolutely nothing in mind just yet. i go to school in miami, so it should be good for heat though. please help me out 😭 im about to just start roaming department stores I consider Kaginado to be canon in the Planetarian universe13h agoSemi-spoiles for Kaginado, obviously; So after Planetarian and Hoshi no Hito, the Junker dies and arrives in heaven to be reunited with Yumemi in the Flower Crest Department Store rooftop planetarium. In Kaginado, Yumemi is giving projections of both the starry sky, but also of funny cartoons. In the last episode of Kaginado, the Junker is there with her to prepare for the next presentation. Therefore, the entirety of Kaginado takes place in the Planetarian canon, in Heaven, where Yumemi and the Junker is working at the planetarium to give presentations for all eternity. I therefore consider Kaginado to be the true-true ending to Planetarian. Ps. I wanted to make a post with multiple ima...
