Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Kohls Store Latest Community Discussions About Kohl'sSourcing Jewelry in China: A 16-Year Insider’s Guide to Finding the Right Factory in Guangdong2h agoWhen you look for a jewelry manufacturer in China, you aren't just looking for a supplier—you’re looking for a partner who won't let you down during the peak season. After **16 years of managing production and quality control** in the heart of China’s jewelry industry, I’ve seen countless international brands struggle. They often fail not because the factories are "bad," but because they chose a factory that didn't match their specific scale or material needs. In this guide, I will break down the "Industry Map" of Guangdong and show you exactly how to find the factory that fits your brand like a glove. # 1. The Geography of Jewelry: Where Should ... Finally got my chaotic curator vibe dialed in: Embracing the '90s alt grunge with a touch of literary gothic 🖤 (...2h agoOkay, let's talk about the eternal quest to look *intentionally* dishevelled, rather than just… dishevelled. My latest obsession has been trying to channel a "literary gothic" vibe — think smudged kohl, a touch of pallor, but make it *functionalist* for a Tuesday. The challenge? How to achieve that wonderfully melancholic, lived-in look without it veering into "slept in makeup" or "just cried for an hour" territory. I wanted less "haunted mansion ghost" and more "poet who just finished a midnight manuscript." It was a journey, complete with a few detours into looking like I’d been punched in the eye. But I think I finally landed o... Profitable since day one. Zero debt. Federal contracts with DHS and DoW. Strategic partnerships with Raytheon, IBM, and AWS. This is the **complete breakdown** of why serious investors are paying attention. Th... I manifested my SP in the craziest way possible.2h agoThis is a rather hilarious story which some of you might find encouraging. So I've been part of the Neville Goddard/shifting community for the past couple of years. I've "manifested" some really great material things — such as money, a car, etc. — but for some reason I haven't been able to find someone that I could truly be in love with, or so I thought. I have a female roommate who also happens to be my best friend in the entire world. (Not sure if this detail is relevant, but I am a guy.) I will call her Jules for now. Jules and i met in college and moved in together right after we graduated. (We live in NYC, so rent was too expensive for us.) We both happen ... Today I'm back with another experiment that I hope will have valuable insights for the community here. I came across a paper from researchers at Berkeley's Haas School of Business showing that year-over-year changes in parking lot car counts predicted quarterly retail earnings \[1\]. They found that trading on this signal yielded 4 - 5% abnormal returns... Today I want to share my journey as a founder— not as a pitch, not as a promotion, just as an honest account of how the last few years have actually gone for me, and where I am now. This is the full story. It's a long read but I think it's worth it for anyone starting up. **Where it actually starts — 2015** I got into Bitcoin in 2015. Back then nobody took it seriously. I was buying coins at around $50 each at a time when most people thought it was either a scam or a joke. I ended up with around 75 Bitcoin total, buying and selling over several years. At one point I was literally selling Bi... I built an agentic AI email platform to reduce inbox overload of professionals . Looking for brutally honest beta tester...4h agoHey r/betatests, I'm an AI engineer and the co-founder of Kortex Mail (kortexmail.com). Like most of you, I was spending way too much time managing my inbox instead of actually doing deep work. So, my team and I decided to build a solution. Kortex Mail is an agentic email platform that is context-aware and priority-focused built for professionals to reduce their email overload. We just wrapped up our initial launches on Peerlist and LinkedIn, and now we're looking for Reddit's notoriously honest feedback to stress-test our beta version. Unlike standard email clients, we focused entirely on making the AI act like a smart assistant rather than just a wrapper. https://preview... Why does shopping for intimate apparel feel more complicated than it should be?4h agoI need new underwear. Simple enough task, except the options are overwhelming and somehow loaded with implications. The terminology alone is confusing, with retailers using phrases like women hot underwear to describe everything from practical comfort to overtly sexual designs. What even defines the categories anymore, and why does functional intimate wear need to be marketed with these descriptors? I just want something comfortable that fits well and lasts through regular washing. But stores seem to assume everyone shopping for underwear is either prioritizing extreme practicality or preparing for romantic encounters, with nothing in between. Can't intimate apparel just be nice q... Anyone else walk past this architectural time capsule in Rittenhouse and wonder what happens inside?4h agoFind it fascinating that a group focused on "Universal Brotherhood" and the "Secret Doctrine" occupies a space built for the family of a department-store titan. It feels peak Philly. Layers of Gilded Age wealth, deep-seated intellectual eccentricity, and a commitment to keeping things exactly as they looked in 1920. Architects originally designed this "Chateauesque" townhouse for the brother of John Wanamaker. It currently serves as the home for the United Lodge of Theosophists (ULT). For those unfamiliar with the history of Western esotericism, the ULT functions as a "straight-line" association dedicated to the original 19th-century teachings of H... When did children's clothing become so expensive and elaborate for events they barely remember?4h agoMy daughter's friend is having a birthday party, and apparently the dress code is formal. I'm shopping for girls party dresses and shocked by the prices. Elaborate designs with tulle, sequins, and details that rival adult formal wear, costing more than some of my own clothes. She's seven years old and will outgrow this in months, yet the market assumes spending hundreds on children's party wear is normal. When I was her age, party clothes meant wearing your nicer everyday outfit. Now there's an entire industry of occasion-specific children's fashion. Are we creating better childhood memories through elaborate celebrations, or just teaching kids that appearance ... Mostly for western tourists in Asia?5h agoI’ve been on fence awhile regarding my first Rimowa purchase. I like the way they look. But I live in Asia and I feel like I basically only see western tourists with Rimowa. Around Japan and when I fly inter Asia, I never see Rimowa. Mostly only by westerners visiting. Perhaps because they are so heavy and not really practical for airlines here? And it’s funny because tourists line up to buy them in Tokyo department stores, but you never see any Japanese buying them. It’s like a tourist trap ha Wiseman’s Palms building blitz continues with plans for 490 units, 16K sf retail5h agoWiseman Residential is advancing its development plans with a new project aimed at constructing a mixed-use complex near the Culver City Metro station. The company has submitted an application to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning to redevelop a retail center located at 9000-9020 Venice Boulevard. Currently, this site features a one-story strip of stores that includes various food and apparel tenants. The property is situated on the south side of Venice Boulevard, between Robertson and Culver Boulevards. The proposed development consists of a seven-story building that will include 490 residential units, which will comprise studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. In additi... Atelier Cologne - Oolong Infini8h agoI want to buy the Oolong Infini fragrance by Atelier Cologne in Paris, and according to their website a department store called Samaritaine at 9 Rue de la Monnaie carries it. But I can't tell if they actually carry Oolong Infini or just some of Atelier Cologne's other fragrances. Does anyone know for sure? Advice needed: what else is there for me?9h agoI (f38) have been working in retail, based in a specific industry (not IT) for the last 11 years. With my new family dynamics (new baby and 8 year old) and my husbands work schedule, he travels a lot, retail is just not the right environment for me anymore. I’ve been a multi unit manager, sr district level manager, store manager and specialty department manager, all salaried positions, but I don’t have my bachelors in business management yet. I’m curious what options are out there for me that I can look into outside of retail. I’ve recruited, driven/coached performance, talent sourced, onboarded, and of course there is the whole sales side: drive performance through sales KPI’s etc... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
