I've had it up to here with my team lead, the HR manager, and the store director bothering me every shift about extending my availability in the department because someone else in our department has to cut their availability significantly because she's in school. This is an older experience but back in 2023, I was working in the service department for a Toyota dealership. Has anyone been part of a move like this? We open our doors March 7th. We are transitioning with a new CEO (he was the CFO prior). New building new look. I was hired as HR expert (assistant) two weeks ago after working in style/fulfillment (online pickup orders) since October. I started training the second week of January and went to a nearby store for three days to get some hands-on training. This week I was scheduled 4 shifts in HR and one shift in fulfillment. Online prices are outrageous, even with shipping costs. Looking for department stores that are guaranteed to have Rae Dunn merchandise, especially Disney themed to add to my collection. Soo, I applied to Publix a few weeks ago for the bakery, got an interview last week and it went really great! The manager and I had lots of small talk and she even told me about the path upwards from just the stores.
