Was going to look right past these as my thrift stores usually only have cheap department store leather, and little in my size. But I saw the Goodyear welt and the Made in USA tags and looked closer. Almost no sole wear, light burnishing from cuffs at the heel. A couple lightly fraying threads. Quick googling showed similar boots by them go for $200-$400 new. Honestly is a lot to deal with customers and all the complaining about the app not working, gimme this, gimme that etc. also been put on SCOT registers without a lot of training. Posted here a little over a month ago about this location and here they are again. This time there’s serious allegations of sexual assault in the store by one employee to an underage female. I don’t have more info but I let Jack know using the same thread they used to reach out to me about food safety issues in this location. For food safety they make suprise inspections. For potential sexual assault of an employee, they have a phone number. I don’t have enough information to make a report in that manner. But my experience at the Sèvres store felt completely different. The SA was super attentive, followed me from one department to another, made sure I was taken care of the whole time, and even finalized all of my purchases herself. So around two weeks ago (14/03), I was driving with a friend in his car. I am covered to drive other cars, but only third party. Sadly, in the very short period of time I was driving it, we ended up crashing into a tree. The car was wedged between a tree and a wall, and the property owners (it was two houses' worth of wall) came outside, having called the police and ambulance. So I’m kinda annoyed and wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this. There’s this asset protection guy at my store who tried telling people I was on my phone while working… but I was literally on my 15 break. Then another time, someone told my coach that I’ve been on my phone all day and not working. I don’t know 100% if it was him, but I’m pretty sure it was. The thing is, my coach straight up said that wasn’t true and that she’s seen me working, and my team lead backed me up too. My coach just told me to be lowkey with my phone, even on breaks, which I get… but it still feels weird that someone is kinda trying to paint me like I’m not doing my job when I am. Ha...
