Selling EBliss E-Bikes At Car Dealerships Is The Inter-Modal No-Brainer

2h ago

The market growth for electric bikes in the US is expected to be brisk, and one entrepreneur sees automotive retailers joining in the game. The China Bicycle Association estimates 50 million electric bicycles were sold there in 2022. In the US, eBliss wants to sell its Always-branded premium e-bikes at auto dealerships across the country. We tested a Radiant Carbon belt-driven model weighing 52 pounds, with hydraulic brakes and a NuVinci CVT that is good at selecting the appropriate gear. The 630-Wh battery is removable—but not easily—with about 100 miles of range. America has discovered e-bikes in a big way. According to Grand View Research, the US market was $1.98 billion in 2022 a...

My mom and I haven't talked in almost a year

3h ago

\*\*\* trigger warnings: abuse, neglect, sexual abuse.\*\*\* Sorry this is such a long post. A lot to get off my chest. I have talked this through with all my loved ones a millions times, but I just feel like no one in my life fully understands. They just haven't experienced the same thing, so I just don't think they can get it. I just feel like some support from people who have had similar experiences might be helpful. So for some context my (30 female) mom (49 female) had me when she was 18. My mom had a really hard childhood herself. Abusive stepdads, a drug-addicted, alcoholic mother who often would leave her alone for weeks at a time. And 0 family intervention. So whe...

i did this mani yesterday and i absolutely **** it and was about to take it off, when i thought i should document this and at least share it so other people can see for themselves - in case anyone has the same idea, they can see what it looks like! i recently posted this gorgeous [red jelly sandwich with sweetheart taco](https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditLaqueristas/comments/1ra13c6/postvalentines_nails/), and for some reason thought it would be a good idea to try to recreate this but with a blue jelly instead. i thought the hearts would be nice and muted like with the red jelly sandwich, but of course not! theyre pink and holo, theyre going to show up! i think this mani looks awful so i just ...

VAT refund experience with layover at CDG

3h ago

I purchased items from Louis Vuitton at Schipol airport (AMS) and in the city of Amsterdam and then flew home today through CDG to DC. As for finding a customs agent within the terminal, that’s not available. At least it wasn’t for me in 2E (none of the halls). Every time I asked an agent, they stated had to exit the airport and come through departures. I completely exited out of the airport and come back in through departures and went to the Tax Refund area (there are signs above). The customs agent reviewed my paperwork and only asked if I have the item so purchased (did not review them). I opted to receive cash (euros) back immediately. So, I took my forms and went around the corn...

Moving states in a few months - transfer questions?

3h ago

Hi. I've worked at Walmart for ten months in the US and plan to move a few states away sometime during the summer. I would like to keep my job. I know you can transfer stores, and I know the actual process of doing it (be under 2 points, go to your work computer and apply for open positions in the area) but I have a few questions. When should I do this? A month before I plan to move? A few weeks? How soon of a notice do they need? If you did this (transferring between states, not just stores) how difficult was the process? Not the technical one, just the whole thing of getting stores to communicate and successfully moving. Did you have to ask multiple times for followups? I'm wor...

Itinerary Check May 16 - 27

4h ago

Hello all, We are planning a Japan/Seoul trip for May 2026. The Japan leg of the trip will be 10 days (not including travel time). We might plan 1 or 2 attractions each day but mostly plan on just exploring/wandering the area we are in. I am mostly looking for suggestions and advice if this itinerary is doable. I did use ChatGPT to clean up my itinerary, so that’s why it looks like AI. The only things officially scheduled is anything with times associated with it. The Seoul leg of the trip was added on later as my wife wants to visit some friends that are there and we aren’t sure when we will be back on this side of the world. Probably would have planned the trip out a differently...

$1.50 Bag Fee? For pickup

4h ago

I've been using my Chase Sapphire card to order from 7 Eleven every month because I get the $10 monthly credit. My last order they charged me $1.50 for "Bag Fees" for an order of 5 small bags of chips. Usually it's $0.10 or $0.20 for bag fees. (NYC) As an experiment. I figured I'd just bring my own bag and then dispute it since I also had some DoorDash credits that covered the fee. I come to find out that there is no easy way to dispute the bag fee by saying you brought your own bag. I even snapped a pic of the pickup in my own bag, while at the store, and provided chat support with this photo. Nope. They would only credit me half of the bag f...

AI Posts About Replacing People and Jobs

4h ago

With all of these AI posts and its effects on the job market, and all these gloom and doom about AI replacing people in their job. Do I think AI is going to replace people? straight up no. Do not get me wrong, AI is an effective **tool (Emphasis on the word TOOL).** I have utilized it as well for both personal and work. However, if you have utilized AI and know full well how to perform your job, and have not replace AI to think for you, you would also know AI makes mistakes. Lets start off with the disclaimers when utilizing AI. For instance just an example of some of the disclaimer: Claude AI Disclaimer - >Claude is AI and can make mistakes. Please double-check responses. ChatGP...

(Sorry for any formatting or grammar errors, I'm on mobile.) I'm 18 and have never really gotten involved with unions and stuff, just kept my head down and did what I was told to do at the store I work in. I don't really have any work friends or anything I just go in, do my job and go home. My supervisor and department head seem to like me well enough but thats about it, so I don't really have anyone at work in my corner I can rely on for help or ask about what's going on, and I don't really know anything about unions or stuff. But I got a call the other day from one of my managers telling me that the owner wants to have a meeting with me. She didn't give...

Vitamins Manager

5h ago

I’ve been with Sprouts for a year and a half. I started in e-commerce and am now the assistant vitamins manager. This is my first grocery store job and five months ago when I got the promotion, I didn’t hold too much knowledge in all things supplements. Yesterday my boss,(for vitamins) asked me questions regarding my comfortability in the department and when it’s time for her to retire, me taking her spot. What are some things that I should know, pick her brain about and ultimately feel confident in with vitamins before taking on the role as the department manager. Thanks you, I appreciate any and all feedback.
