Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Kohls Store Latest Community Discussions About Kohl'sSelf-promotion Thread1h agoUse this thread to promote yourself and/or your work! (Descriptions of fictional crimes investigated by the story's main Character Max.) Detective's Fate It's august of 2008..... Max is a detective living in Chicago He checks his pistol and puts on his police badge as he walks out his front door. He has been searching for a serial killer known as the Caller for years and always been one step behind due to the red tape..... More importantly the chief's lazy attitude towards getting search warrants and actions approved by the courts for raids. Twice Max had good intel on the suspect's locations and photo evidence showing him at the sites. The department needs mo... hunt for a new SBGP0011h agoGood afternoon, I have decided to purchase this watch, I miss having a 9F and this one checks all the boxes for me. I have called around CONUS and it seems to be unavailable. I see that chrono24 via ippo and miyaran have them. I am also willing to travel, I can get to narita easily. Any advice on where to look? I have read the “buying GS in Japan thread”. Is it possible to email any of these department stores? Thanks! How much time off can I request in a row2h agoHello I’m a specialty sales team lead I’ve been in role for 4 years and with target for 6 so I’ve been around for a while and for the longest I’ve been told I can only take 2 weeks off after that it’s a LOA. Last year in May 2025 I asked my SD if I couldn’t take 2 weeks off in May 2026 to go to Japan which they said yes we’d just have to sit down and talk about workload and make sure everything’s accounted for which my departments always are. I’m the style and tech team lead but I’m always ahead and actually helping other departments out with transitions and workload. I’m actually setting Easter for them next week lmao. So in January I asked them if we could sit do... (Viz 346) The Male Online.2h agoLike Hunting? Well... soon that will be a thing of the past.2h ago# The Issue #1 Your Hunting Ground is Up for Sale If you’re a guy who lives for opening day, who trusts his boots more than a boardroom, or who just wants to take his kids camping without seeing a "Private Property" sign every ten feet, you need to look at the fine print of Project 2025 which was pushed through by republicans last year. **The Patriot’s Perspective:** Since the days of Teddy Roosevelt, we’ve agreed on one thing: **American soil belongs to Americans.** Whether you're hunting elk in the West or fishing a stream in the Appalachians, that land is *your* heritage. It’s the "Commons"—the one place where a billionaire and a plumber are equals. *... "How A 'Deviant' Philosopher Built Palantir, A CIA-Funded Data-Mining Juggernaut" by Andy Greenberg2h agoLink: [https://www.forbes.com/sites/andygreenberg/2013/08/14/agent-of-intelligence-how-a-deviant-philosopher-built-palantir-a-cia-funded-data-mining-juggernaut/](https://www.forbes.com/sites/andygreenberg/2013/08/14/agent-of-intelligence-how-a-deviant-philosopher-built-palantir-a-cia-funded-data-mining-juggernaut/) By [Andy Greenberg](https://www.forbes.com/sites/andygreenberg/) "Since rumors began to spread that a startup called Palantir helped to kill Osama bin Laden, Alex Karp hasn't had much time to himself. On one sun-baked July morning in Silicon Valley Palantir's lean 45-year-old chief executive, with a top-heavy mop of frazzled hair, hikes the grassy hills around... Stan Lee’s ‘Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos: D-Day for Dum Dum’ (October 1968)2h agoThe comic features the adventures of Sergeant Nick Fury and his team, the Howling Commandos, during World War II, with this specific issue focusing on the character Timothy Aloysius Cadwallader "Dum Dum" Dugan. It is a classic Silver Age Marvel comic issue. This issue was edited by Stan Lee. It’s very interesting to see a swastika next to a superhero. Constant Motion and Amygdala Hijack/Enhanced Interrogation Tactics: Why they use noise and motion harassment to disrupt ...2h agoI have been doing research on this program, studying its tactics and how it so easily manipulates people's perception and behaviors. This program also serves so many different societal purposes for the elite, including dissident control, human experimentation, a feeder tool for the criminal justice/prison industries/military industries/mental and behavioral health complex. In greatest simplicity, you represent or at one point represented a credible threat to their plans, and they want to "expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise neutralize you". In the feeding frenzy of government watchlists, they found a way to feed people into these systems by expanding the survei... The World of Maya Angelou – 1000 pieces – Laurence King Publishing2h agoFinished this Maya Angelou puzzle and really loved it. I knew I’d enjoy the artwork, but wanted to share because I hadn’t seen this brand before. The pieces snap together nicely, the patterns make it engaging without being frustrating, and it includes a fold-out insert about Maya Angelou’s life, which was a really thoughtful touch while puzzling. Picked it up at a local bookstore, great quality and a really enjoyable build overall. Prisoners and Sexually Explicit Materials3h ago**Prisoners and Sexually Explicit Materials** **Introduction** The issue of prisoners receiving, possessing, and viewing sexually explicit materials has at times been hotly contested in the courts. Cases have involved the receipt of “adult” magazines through the mail, sexually explicit materials in personal correspondence, the viewing of sexually explicit movies and television shows, the possession of photographs of spouses and girlfriends, and even the question of the possession of sexually explicit materials written by prisoners themselves. In some cases, prisoners, publishers, and others have challenged restrictions on such materials, asserting First Amendment or due process clai... Package Lost, Claim Filed, and what next?3h agoI recently had a package go missing in my destination facility (Birmingham). Our local Customer Service Center closed recently so I can’t physically go and speak with someone. I tried reaching out to my shipper to no avail before being able to file the claim myself to initiate the investigation to locate the missing package. I reached back out to the shipper who offered to either wait for the investigation to conclude before sending a replacement, or to allow for me to reorder with free 2 day shipping and get credited back for the order once the investigation concludes. When I made my decision with the shipper, I responded but have not heard back from them unfortunately. Yesterday I rece... Denied because HR thought salary too low for experience3h agoMy husband was telling me that a manager in his department wanted to hire someone for a lab position who was qualified and agreed to the salary range presented in the interview. The candidate's most recent job was at a grocery store and was interested in the job despite the lower pay because it's flexible from an hours perspective, uses her degree, and she has small kids. The recruiter and her manager would not let the hiring manager present an offer because they thought the salary offered was too low for the qualifications of the candidate despite it being the most the hiring manager could offer based on the budget. No one in senior leadership (above my husband) was willing ... [Freezing Edge] - Chapter 1: A Loud Frequency [01/11]3h agoIn the depths of space, exists a bright star, whose only purpose is to give life, she is the mother of this tiny blue, brown, green planet. This planet we call it Earth, this planet stuck in a dance to eternity with his mother and brothers, until entropy claims his colors. In Earth, there exist creatures, sentient ones, they love, ****, destroy, make, think, forget, they sing in the language of life, in their short lifespan, beautiful, and tragic, but doesn't matter. They still need to learn the most important and fundamental law of nature. A loud noise, frequencies. Suddenly, US, China, Europe, India, all around the world, for the first time in human history, contact!, ... Soon-to-be college grad in need of resume advice3h agoHi everyone, I recently finished my geology coursework from a liberal arts college in Massachusetts and I'm in the process of applying to jobs (currently focusing on the Northern Virginia area). My degree gets conferred in March of this year. I tailor my resume and my cover letter to each position so certain skills might be added or omitted - this is from the job I most recently applied for. Also, I'm planning on making cold calls starting Monday. I've been getting nothing but rejections and I'm unsure if it's the job market, the fact that I don't have my degree yet, or if my resume isn't good. Any advice about my resume, cold calling, or otherwise maki... Employee Discount?3h agoI was wondering, is there any kind of employee discount for part time or full time employees at the Saker owned stores? If there is one, is it a certain percentage, is it on certain products, or departments, etc.? Thanks. How to Make Your Wood Deck More Fire-Resistant3h agoWood decks look great. They’re also basically kindling with a mortgage attached. If you live in a wildfire-prone area—or you grill, use fire pits, or host the occasional “how did that start?” moment—fire safety isn’t optional. Wood burns. That’s the problem. How fast it burns depends on the type of wood, how dry it is, and what’s sitting around it. Leaves, pine needles, dry grass? All bad. The good news: you can dramatically reduce the risk with the right prep, the right products, and a little common sense. Fire safety isn’t just about spraying something and calling it a day. It’s maintenance, smart landscaping, and following local fire rules so you don’t learn them ... Elevator girls at the Marshall Field & Co. department store in Chicago, which ran a charm school for its elevato...4h agoWhy I don’t like any popular male fragrances - a rant, of sorts5h agoI’ve noticed for some time that the majority of “masculine” scents these days do absolutely nothing for me. A lot of this stuff has become so formulaic that it’s almost grotesque. What I find at any male fragrance counter at a department store or at Sephora or Douglas is this: • sharp aromatics • ambroxan • loud woods • metallic freshness It’s an all out assault on my olfactory bulb with brute force masculinity, synthetic freshness, chemical “blue” nightmares, and gym-clean aggression. This is often juxtaposed with flavored liquor stuff smelling like rum, bourbon, or cognac laced with vanilla and wood. The gourmand counterpart. I find this less offensive than ... He communicated with... Tales From Beacon: a Long flashback5h agoIt rained hard that day. Fitting, given the events that were about to happen. "...and that's the last of it," Charles Spitz said, looking at the neat stack of papers on his desk. He stood up and left his office, exiting the large building they called the "UP's Capital." He turned left, walking on the path to his home, when someone approached him, masked and wearing a cap. Charles put on a smile as the man drew closer, but noticed him pulling something out of his pocket. A gift, perhaps? Then there was blood. Long's successor stared at his very own Carl Weiss, shakily putting a hand on his suit. Blood. It was spilling out, staining his...favorite coat.... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
