I’m a cook with pfds but work FOH. I’m having an issue in which when management has me walk across the department and store for temps I don’t have coverage for my area on the front end. I have a medical issue with my legs so I’m doing Sedgewick. I’ve asked for someone to just plant their feet in my section for the 10 minutes it takes me to do temps but my leadership is unwilling unless Sedgewick tells them to. My doctor wants to make sure ordering reduced walking won’t jeopardize my position. Sedgewick recommended I have my doctor write that I need reduced walking. Will this jeopardize my job? I can still use my arms and all but my legs have issues.
