For context, I basically only shop online because I am plus size and ONs in store options are laughable. i was hired to work at this department store in the fall to be full time and of course during holidays i had better hours. i understand in retail, during slow seasons you get less hours. i was expecting to go from 40 to 30 hours but i now get 19-23 a week. not only that, all my shifts are shorter. this week i have 5 4 hour shifts. that's ridiculous for a full time employee. i live 40 mins away so to drive for 1.5 hours to work 4 isn't worth it. i would be fine with my hours being cut if i had 8 hour shifts. at least i could possibly get a second job on the days i don't work at this one. i also don't understand as someone who's scheduled before the logic of my manager...

(Asian department store with lots of cute toys, beauty products, kitchenware, and of course weird chippies) Wasabi: 7/10 nice wasabi flavor and very lightly sweetened. Swiss cheese: 6/10 decent cheese flavor but missing that Swiss cheese tang of light bitterness. With many Targets (including mine!) no longer stocking maternity in stores, I’m wondering where people are finding in person options for maternity clothes? I already had an issue with clothes (especially pants) fitting weird before I was pregnant so being able to try on is a necessity. I am aware that Kohl’s and old Navy have a limited selection in stores. I have not been to Old Navy yet, but when I want to Kohl’s, their selection was very sparse, often with only one size in each clothing style. I am open to both secondhand and new options. Thank you!

Hi. My store currently has no tech department because everyone quit when the new GM started a little over a month ago. I'm a Print associate, but I agreed to cross train to tech because I am a computer hobbyist and would probably be fine over there. I'm trying to do the computer learnings. I cannot, for the life of me, find the tech learnings. My new GM said that they do not know how to assign a new role to me in the computer yet. Is this why I can't find the learnings? I’m deaf. I don’t remember anyone ever telling me stores played music all year round. I knew most stores played carols in December. We were in Walmart and my eight year old was dancing and I asked her what she was doing and she said dancing to Taylor Swift. She then told me most stores play music? Like the grocery store and Walmart. She doesn’t know much about music and singers. She said sometimes it’s instrumental and sometimes it’s singers.
