The store that I work at is the largest in our region, and has had grocery managers rotating in and out over the past 9 months (4 or 5 different managers), and recently we have been without any grocery manager at all for around 4 or 5 weeks. A lot of the extra work has been dumped onto our grocery 2IC. Recently I learned that they're only getting paid as a level 1 team member, which I didn't think was correct so brought it up to my SSM, they said that apparently grocery 2IC becuase they don't have team functioning directly under them during their day shifts they aren't entitled to increased pay rates, I brought up other points but they denied any of them making the 2IC...

Posting my experience with the downtown tax refund process in case it's useful to anyone, because I was confused/misled by all the information online. Immediate tax refund is the easiest, but some stores like Daiso give you the tax refund receipt and have the self serve kiosks in the store. Hello, I am in a huge mess and at risk of losing my job of 4 years. My security license is showing up as invalid on the website of security department of BC. So I understand that as a Team Lead we take on more responsibilities and more is expected from us than associates, I truly get that but team leads are also hourly we accrue PTO and PPTO the same as well as points. So I've just learned in advance from my department head that my store manager is attempting to demote me for problems with our department.
