Hello 5 month PT Cashier here. I had a question about a new position that just opened in my store. It’s a CSA Pro Lumber Full Time. What exactly is the responsibilities and would it be foolish for me to try to apply? I pull in minimum 3 credit cards a week, always punctual, trained in customer service and im good as a cashier at the lumber area. Multiple protection plans and loyalty sign ups. I’m probably being foolish even considering it but I was curious. I‘ve been recognized at meetings for my credit cards and metrics and am known as being reliable and helping meet goals. Hi should I open door on store manager decision on not moving me forward with team lead position ? I feel like it’s pointless. My coach and another coach both wanted me to be the next team lead but I was notified by my coach that store manager thinks I am not capable of giving direction and leading. I feel like it’s bullshit since most the team lead of the other departments just walk around all day I barely see them do work. Should try applying to a different store ? Basically knowing more doesn’t get me anywhere and I am basically a number. Any suggestions would be helpful.

So I work at an Ollie's in a small town. Since I've started working here (less than a year) I've throughly enjoyed it comparted to my other jobs (including walmart and I was a team lead there). I know this may be harsh but i feel that busy stores such as mine should be able to decide the rules on drive thru. I feel that if it is not a in and out thing you need to come inside, i am tired of one person taking 15 mins and messing up the flow of the line. Now the entire line for the next hour is ****** off at me. And then i feel if the drive through line is long, one person per car unless they are there. No “im picking up for 5 people” and 3 of them have insurance issues. Is this just at my store and what is the reasoning? This other girl and I started about 90days ago, we’ve been trying to be full time since we are both single moms. The manager has talked to us about it. Well a couple of the full timers suddenly started being real snippy about it. (Plus I heard them talking **** about it) Especially on days when we train in new areas of the department. Why would they care if they add more full time employees? Does that affect them at all? I don’t get it. There are a couple that always work the same area every shift but I doubt they would ever be moved . (That’s only reason I could think of)

I've posted about this issue in this subreddit before. It's been an ongoing issue in the 4 years that I've worked for this company (grocery chain). No matter who my relief is, they are late. Anywhere from 5-60 minutes late. There has not been ONE SINGLE TIME in 4 years that any of them have gotten there on time. It's such a well known thing at my store that people don't even call to let anyone know they'll be late because everyone already knows they will be. Uhm Hello! I've recently been told that some sh scars, especially fresh ones (I've gotten help and everything is all good rn) can be really bad with fragrance and it can irritate the skin and possibly cause infection, so I'm wondering if there is a ln alternative I can use to keep with my body care/scent layering routine? Okay so I know I've put 2 things. Im going to do them in 2 separate points. Point 1: I work at Morrisons, and I've been there for about a year, i haven't enjoyed it but who has?
