Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Kohls Store Latest Community Discussions About Kohl'sI'm almost certain I'm being tortured for the purpose and point of a forced resignation.25m agoTo add a bit of context I work at a Target and have for about a year. I work in food & bev pushing primarily dry food. Recently the workload has been absolutely unbearable. The "expectations", have been a Uboat per hour, a minute per box. Which was manageable up until lately. The key difference is the size of the Uboats, they're averaging 7 ft tall and have an excess amount of back stock (merchandise that needs to be documented in the back room) Furthermore I now have Uboats that don't make any type of cohesive sense, the product is spread out amongst at least 3-5 different aisles making my tasks harder and longer to complete. I'm also being pulled away f... Offered a Job at Safeway...What to Know?27m agoHello all! I was just offered a part-time job at Safeway. I really need a job, and I have experience in retail and grocery stores. I know what I'm getting into, LOL. But I have some questions: \*I was hired as an SCO cashier, which is fine, as I dislike straight cashiering. How difficult/annoying is this job? \* If I want to later work in another department, like bakery or floral, how hard is it to switch? \* Will I be able to get a regular 20 to 25 hours a week? The hiring manager assured me I would, but I also know that stores do cut hours. I have full availability, which I think is the reason I got hired so quick. THANK YOU for any insights, dire warnings, and information. Missoula Robber Pepper-Sprays Security Guard While Stealing Soda41m agoOn February 15, 2026, a Missoula Police Department Officer responded to the Town Pump on N. Reserve Street for a report of a robbery. The reporting party called 911 to report that an on-scene Security Guard had been maced by a shoplifter, as the shoplifter was attempting to leave the scene. While en route, the officer was informed that the individual deploying the mace, later identified as David Lawson, had left the scene in a blue passenger car. The officer arrived on scene at approximately 9:52 PM. The male who had been maced, John Doe, was at a sink washing his eyes. Doe stated he was a retired law enforcement officer and had experience being exposed to pepper spray in the past. While co... Crossover57m agoIf you were ever asked to be a crossover front store/ Pharmacy, don't do it. I was pushed into this position by my store manager and was told by him and the DL that ours wouldn't be a problem, that front store and pharmacy would work out my schedule. Now the schedule has been written for March 1st and I have 0 hours between both departments. Crossover positions are a scam. Rekindle or not?1h agoOkay this is going to be about a break up about 1.5 years ago with a recircling back story. I'm now 26 F and he is 30 M. Backstory/Context: We originally met through my job/his job as he used to merchandise with a different company at my job where I was a front end cashier/deli department. The grocery store used to be owned by his family but it was sold to another family. Originally I knew nothing about him and his family, their last name, or the grocery store owning. Didn't know about the money that they had, never knew about how well known and loved him and his family were/are, and his status as being a well known musician in the town/surrounding towns. (I was focused on my educ... White Knight of the Grocery Store 2 - The Meat of the Matter1h agoHey folks... I'm back. I know, I know. "She said she was done with him!" Yeah well, I said a lot of things. I also said I was going to start waking up at 5am and going for runs but here we are, aren't we? Life has a way of dragging you back to the places you swore you'd never return to. In my case, that place smells like expired lunch meat and broken dreams. No cast list, no recap. Try to keep up. So after the Great Melon Massacre, I avoided that grocery store for about two weeks. I drove an extra fifteen minutes to the big chain store across town like a coward in witness protection. I told myself it was because they had better produce. It was not because they had b... How did access to scientific journals become so expensive? Has it always been this way?1h agoAs someone who teaches at a small school with a very limited library, department budget, and no grants, legitimately accessing scientific papers outside of open-access journals is near-impossible. Say I wanted to access Philip Anderson's landmark *Science* article, "More Is Different", published in 1972. ([https://doi.org/10.1126/science.177.4047.393](https://doi.org/10.1126/science.177.4047.393)) After wading through the options to finally purchase digital access to the article, *Science* generously offers it to me for the low, low price of $30. That's $30 for 2 pages of text published 53 years ago, for which the actual author has never received a cent. Other journals ar... Madras Chetlinaad restaurant scores a 31/U on inspection1h agoI would avoid the Madra Chetlinaad restaurant scores, who just failed a health inspection with a score of 31. The restaurant had a previous failing score of 56 last year. Am I being scammed on an s9 purchase?1h agoSeveral days ago I purchased a refurbished S9 tablet. The tldr is that it is bricked with Sennco DPC, a Security app designed for retail stores to protect their demo models in the event of theft. You basically can't do much with it except what you can do in a store. You can log into your Google account but you cannot install any software. It's basically useless. After the first time realizing it was not allowing me to install apps, I did a factory reset and carried it into a T-Mobile store because it used to be with t-mobile. The store manager explained to me that when they return demo units back to manufacturers be manufacturer wipes it clean and there is no security app on it wh... Nunca emplacada, y nunca facturada. La motocicleta prende al instante, y ... Why Dealerships Struggle to Hire Qualified Technicians (and How to Fix It)2h agoHiring and retaining qualified automotive technicians has become one of the most pressing challenges facing dealerships and independent repair shops. On the surface, it may appear that there simply are not enough trained technicians in the market. In reality, most OEM certified professionals are already employed and are not applying online. If your only strategy is posting ads on job boards, you are competing with every other shop for the same pool of unemployed candidates and the results are often disappointing. Why Traditional Recruiting Fails Passive candidates are overlooked The vast majority of experienced technicians are working in dealership service departments or independent shop... Life/Work advice2h agoKind of just seeking some guidance or seeing options through someone elses perspective. Currently 27M been doing retail for over 10 years now, with the last 3, almost 4 years being a sales job within Verizon Wireless, within various positions too, up to and including Retail Store Manager and now currently working within their online sales department working remotely. Been struggling keeping up with how the company has been changing amongst some mental health issues/being neurodivergent/some life obstacles (a nasty and abusive relationship) from last year im moving past. Im not seeking medical advice, im working on that seperately. Telecom is one of the most high pressure/stress jobs in th... (Northern California)2h agoHello! I am starting to research strollers and I really want to try some out in person. I live in a rural area that has no department stores or baby gear stores. I’ll have to travel either to the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, or to Portland Oregon, as those are all fairly equidistant from me. Does anyone have any recommendations on stores to visit in either of those areas that have a good number of display models to try out? Can I sue a pedophile?2h agoLocation: Georgia, USA In December of 2025, My 15yo daughter was asked by a local store owner to help clean his store for 2hrs a day on the weekends for $20 a day cash. So she asked my wife and i if she could, and I went and had a talk with him about it. After speaking with him for awhile about it i felt like it was ok and my daughter was old enough to start learning how to make money and handle the responsibilities of having a job. My daughter has very bad adhd and odd, so keeping her busy usually helps her stay out of trouble. She helped him for about 3 weekends when he cornered her in the cooler and sexually assaulted her, he held her against her will and began taking her clothes off. ... attempt at mall world2h agoevery time i dream of mall world there’s always the same things. a giant supermarket, i can’t remember the name but it’s giant red letters, and it’s “something-mart” across a huge wall, next to a women’s clothing store. it’s gigantic and possibly miles long, there’s everything from department store items to clothes it’s basically costco x home depot. on the exit there’s this huge bright light, and when i leave i see people around me running in fear, and i’m walking with these huge grey figures. they have translucent grey skin, very long fingers, and no hair or genitalia. they also are very thin, and wear no clothing. from what i remember they had large a d reflect... NetCom Learning: Analyzing and Visualizing Data in Looker2h agoMany organizations have huge amounts of data stored across Google Cloud but turning that data into dashboards, insights, and decisions is often harder than expected. Here are the challenges we frequently hear: **Common pain points organizations face:** * Data exists but no clear way to visualize or explore it * BI tools feel disconnected or too complex * Developers build dashboards but business users don’t trust them * Lack of data governance and consistent models * Teams spend more time prepping data than analyzing it Having data doesn’t equal *seeing* data and without insights, teams can’t act confidently. # What Organizations Actually Need To make data meaningful, teams need s... DeFi vs. CeFi Lending in 2026: Finding the Best Balance of Privacy and Compliance3h agoEver look at the tiny interest rate on your savings account and wonder if your money is actually losing value? With inflation often outpacing the sub-1% returns offered by many traditional banks, that’s a fair question. In the growing world of digital finance, new platforms are promising a different path, offering yields of 5% or more. But this opportunity comes with a critical choice that will define the future of your money. This emerging landscape is divided into two competing models: Centralized Finance (CeFi) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi). Think of CeFi as a familiar structure—a company that operates like a bank, but for digital money. DeFi, on the other hand, is something else ... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
