Its been about 3 years since I've been gone. I work as an HR Manager with really good work life balance. I lowkey wanna to come back to Whole Foods for a bit. I need more hobbies in my life so I'm looking to get an easy seasonal shopper job to kill time and maybe make some cash. How does hiring work with the whole Sage thing? Does AI hire you completely or do stores or someone in Recruiting still have a part in hiring? I can work 4am shifts to 9am, or 5:30pm shifts to 11pm, or weekends. A federal Bank?1h agoYes a reserve Bank 😁 Vietnam Feb 17-251h agoWe’re traveling to Vietnam soon — Ho Chi Minh City from Feb 17–20, then Da Nang from Feb 20–25. I just realized that our dates overlap with Lunar New Year (Tet), which is totally my fault for not checking earlier. If I had known, I probably would’ve planned Hoi An/Da Nang first and then gone to HCMC later. From what I’ve been reading, it sounds like Saigon can be pretty quiet after the main New Year celebrations, with many shops and restaurants closed — which happens to be exactly when we’ll be there. Unfortunately, changing our plans would be expensive since some of our bookings are non-refundable. For those who’ve been in HCMC during Tet: • What would you recommend ... Angela woke up early in the morning and started getting ready for work, just like every other day of her life, but something was different, something didn't seem normal, as if there was a presence of something or someone, but Angela didn't pay any attention to it. “I'm just tired, no, you're not,” she said to herself shortly after she left her house went to work. Angela had a quiet administrative job at an insurance company, spending most of her day tapping away at her computer. Later that day, Angela was proud of herself for how much work she had accomplished. “I'm definitely going to get a raise! We'll see,” she said to herself, but 30 minutes ... I spend a lot of time helping couples avoid mismatched expectations, so I wanted to share a few “I wish someone told me this earlier” moments I see all the time. Wedding department timelines are different * Normally in the US, you want to get to planning as early as possible to secure vendors and spaces while they remain available, and the earlier the better. When planning, most resorts may not begin the finalization process (extra decor, florals, menus, extra vendors, song lists, setup, etc) until 3 months prior. It is important to let them know as early as possible for any events needing a booked ... Super King Market is coming to Torrance!2h agohttps://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/08f357cdfdf8459598ad45a29542e10c I’m a big fan of Super King and I think it’s a great addition to Torrance. I hope it’ll have a good selection of international foods, especially Middle Eastern and Latin, like the other locations do. This location seems a little small though? The department store will permanently close on May 24 after 53 years at the shopping center formerly known as Springfield Mall. El Dorado is a myth2h agoDang it! All you with your $23 dollar Marlins on clearance finally made me go to my local Walmart. I **** that store. The layout is wrong, the aisles are narrow, and it smells funny. They took over an old department store, and it's nothing like those cool Super Walmart in other parts of the state Well, I was driving by, stopped in, and went to the me s jewelry section. The display rack was filled with a range called "george" which I assume is a store branded thing. Those, a few Fossils, and a couple of old Casio digitals. That's it. The purpose of the cameras was not clear, but a number of Mr. Epstein’s victims have said they suspected they were being recorded. That has fueled speculation that he was collecting compromising information on his powerful acquaintances, though no evidence has emerged to prove those claims. “Lets get three motion detected hidden cameras, that record,” Mr. Epstein wrote to Larry Visoski, his longtime pilot, who has said he at times set up audio and video equipment for Mr. Epstein in his residences. Most pointless jobs you were asked to do?2h agoRecently our store manager had every department that wasn't on electronic shelf labels print every mod and replace every lavel to turn a 5 into a 6. IE, the tags had to display a print date of 2026. Literally a thousand dollars or more spent on labor to do this for the whole store. My department alone took 2 days to finish. People who grew up in Dallas, Oregon in the 70s, 80s, 90s: Help a writer bring the town to life.2h agoHello everyone, I'm a young fiction writer working on a book set in Dallas, Oregon, spanning from 1971 to 1999. I am not from the United States, and I desperately need your help to portray the time and place authentically. I specifically registered on Reddit for this post haha Just in case, I'll say again that we're talking about the town of Dallas in Oregon, NOT the one in Texas. If you grew up or lived in Dallas during those decades, I would be endlessly grateful if you could share any memories and details. I'm interested in everything that made up the texture of daily life. Here are some things, but please don't feel limited by them: 1. The Town... guy I like works with his ex am I tripping or?3h agoSo i’m talking to this guy that I really like M 22 and I’m F 22. everything has been going super good. He’s very intentional with dating me. He’s attentive and sweet, but I recently just found out the other day that he works with his ex at the same store, but his ex works at a different department, but it’s still the same store and I feel a little uneasy honestly especially because of my past relationships where I’ve had cases of me being cheated on or it’s like it’s always something to do with them not being over their past and so now I’m just really traumatized because I really like him. I haven’t liked someone in so long and it really caught me off guard and it’s als... This is a reflection question3h agoI've been in OPD for a little over five years. I've watched everything change constantly. Our department changes like the weather patterns outside. We have to adapt. But one thing has never changed, our perception. Our perception to customers and to the rest of the store staff. They all have their own perceptions of us. Some mean we need to make necessary changes while other perceptions are just downright disrespectful and bullying. So, at the core of it, in your opinion, what is at the core of OPDs misrepresentation? Why is it that the rest of the store doesn't like us? Why is it that what we are not doing is what is wrong? Why is it that when we discuss our issues that it... Fraudster activated and attempted to use my credit card before delivery. How did they do it?4h agoI’m trying to understand how this could have happened from a technical standpoint. I applied for a Visa credit card online. About a week later (before the card was delivered), I received a call from the issuer’s fraud department stating that: * The card had been activated * The physical card was used * An attempted \~$8,000 purchase was made at an Apple Store I didn’t trust the inbound call, so I hung up and contacted the issuer directly using the number on their website. They confirmed the activity, blocked the card, and issued a replacement. No funds were lost, but I’m trying to understand the attack vector: * What information is typically required to activate a newly issued c... Stop wasting money on novelty junk - 4 gifts that actually lasted 3+ years and 1 that belongs in the bin4h agowith v-day coming up, i’m stressing about gifts again. my boyfriend is the type of guy who hates clutter and usually just buys whatever he needs immediately. a few years ago i decided to stop buying novelty **** and shift entirely to 'buy it once' style stuff. since i see a lot of people asking for advice for 'the guy who has everything,' here is a retrospective on the stuff that actually stayed in his daily rotation vs the stuff that ended up in the donation bin. 1.
