Hiding in a department store?

1h ago

Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before, but is there anything stopping the guys/folks that play the home game from hiding in a department store? I feel like that would be really hard to search in, even with images. I’m rewatching the Japan Hide and Seek season and Sam hiding in the airport made me think of this. Thanks!

Any new or trending black label whisky worth checking out?

1h ago

Last Friday, I went to my friend’s place for a house party. His home resembles a bar setup. It was as impressive as ever! He is the type of a guy who obsesses over tiny details. He even gets his professional-grade black label whiskies and cocktails cases directly from manufacturers on alibaba. It’s actually a smart move, he gets those high-end speakeasy whiskies that these normal department stores don’t offer.  As we were sipping from his luxurious glasses, the conversation drifted from sports to actual bottles we were sampling. We started talking about how the “ Black Labels” has expanded lately with so many heritage brands realising modern flavours to stay competitive. It’s ...

**EXPOSED**: The Walmart Clearance Loophole Making Me $1000/Week From (90% OFF FBA Flips) [Retail Arbitrage Secrets]

1h ago

Hey MaximizeMe fam! 👋 Been lurking here for a while, soaking up all the wisdom, and finally feel like I have something genuinely useful to contribute. You know that feeling when you stumble upon something that just *clicks* and opens up a whole new avenue? Well, that's been my Walmart clearance game lately. Seriously, I'm not gonna lie, the title might sound a *little* clickbaity, but the core of it is legit. I've been consistently pulling in around $1000 a week by digging through Walmart's clearance sections and flipping those finds on Amazon FBA. The key? Finding items that are practically being *given away* – think 90% off or more. It's not about finding o...

KSS Updates: store wasn’t busy and bought some calls and going to buy a lot more!

2h ago

Hi all, Went to my local KSS Thursday and it wasn’t too busy. Online orders at my store were down. Actually looking at all racks it was maybe 30% full out of almost 500 spots. That said it was in great shape and we bought a lot of clothes. Note on Kohls Credit Card: if you actually shop there it’s a pretty decent card and worth it. Investing wise: Last week I bought 300 $15 calls for June and 420 $28 calls for Jan 30th(this brings my current exposure to \~1,070 calls). I wanted this just incase we get a surprise buyout announcement while I keep waiting for more of a dip and options to get less salty. With that said, I got an out of the blue all cash/no contingency offer on some l...

Battle of the Barbers: Augustin Hadelich and Randall Goosby Play Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto

2h ago

It’s the battle of the Barbers! Early last week, I posted about how I had inadvertently scheduled two concerts on the same day, both of them featuring the Samuel Barber Violin Concerto. How did it happen? I impulsively acquired a seat to Friday afternoon’s Philadelphia Orchestra concert, practically as an afterthought, to fill-out the quota for a package deal for deeply-discounted tickets. What I’d failed to take into account was that I was already set to hear the concerto in Princeton on Friday evening, on a program presented by the New Jersey Symphony! An embarrassment of riches, then, and a rare opportunity to juxtapose two interpretations of the same work, which turn...

Quick and Informal Review - Bois Imperial (First Impressions)

2h ago

I recently ordered a 5ml decant of Bois Imperial by Essential Parfums. After doing some research and watching some reviews, I was skeptical / excited for a few reasons: 1. This could be a "different" type of work scent; something unlike your traditional blue body wash type scent (which I will still rock on occasion). 2. I have seen this compared or in the same ballpark as TF Grey Vetiver, one of the few universally liked fragrance that I *absolutely despise.* 3. For a niche fragrance, the price for a brand new bottle is pretty competitive. REVIEW Upon first spray, I could definitely detect the Grey Vetiver-ness of the smell, and kind of remained ever-so-slightly in the backgroun...

Help me improve my resume please!

2h ago

Hello! I'm a student currently studying my International Business Management degree. I want to put together a resume for applying to motorsport and automotive careers as that is the path I want to follow, so this is the resume I've put together. I may just be a bachelors student, but I worked hard to build experience and merit during high school so experience wise I'd say I have a few years under my belt. what do you think? all feedback is really appreciated! https://preview.redd.it/kax321kttscg1.png?width=1245&format=png&auto=webp&s=1e8c823c2ab8d57ff051836af225a16eccf852c8 https://preview.redd.it/pfgiibjttscg1.jpg?width=1245&format=pjpg&...

Resources for learning about data-handling and usage in PowerApps?

3h ago

Hi All, I have some experience as someone who attempted to switch to software development for two years (ultimately unsuccesfull). However, never one to give-up I have become somewhat infactuated with PowerApps. I work as a senior manager in my current role and work mostly remotely. My work focuses on managing QHSE campaigns, investigations, stratgeies & corporate compliance across overseas businesses within our group. As such, the company I work for has a tremendous amount of technological debt and as I recently discovered everyone in the company has a license for powerapps, dataverse etc etc. As such I have spent the past week working on coming up with solutions for my ...

Got written up today for apparently being too quiet. I'm actually kind of amused.

Hiding the transition

3h ago

Hello, my name is Luana, I am 26 years old, and I live in the state of Paraná in Brazil. I have been undergoing hormone therapy for a year, using 50mg of cyprosterone acetate and 2mg of estradiol "Primogyna," and I am also on my 13th laser hair removal session on my face... I am hiding this from my family, coworkers, and friends. This has been making me feel very bad inside; I am afraid of losing my job and having difficulty supporting myself. But little by little, people have noticed something different. In my department, there are six of us women. On Friday, we were talking about what to buy for a coworker from another department for her birthday, and one of my colleagues said t...

What’s up with this leaf

4h ago

I work in the floral department at a grocery store we get orchards weekly. I’m in charge of them (I’m the only one who’s not afraid to water them) but I don’t know to much about them I’m still learning. I think the orchid came in like this but I’m not 100% sure it’s hard to keep track. The roots look healthy to me

Downtown Pharmacy Recommendations

4h ago

Does anyone know of a pharmacy downtown (Gastown/Waterfront/Granville areas) that is a step above the rest? The LD in my area is closing Feb. 1, and I really dislike the other major chain one in the neighborhood (Rexall), based on abhorrent customer service in the past (Tinseltown location). I'd like to find a pharmacy that is actually properly stocked so I don't have to constantly return to pick up the remainder of my prescription, has excellent pharmacists that actually care, can fill my prescriptions in minimal time, and is open until at least 6pm. And don't suggest checking the reviews on Google Maps - those are often all over the place and are based more on the store than...

Eric’s Extended Family: Grandparents and Aunts

Wayne Harris' parents were Walter E. and Thelma J. He has an older sister, Sandra. Abbadon: Devotion, Reverence, and Transformation in Theistic Satanism

**Abbadon: Devotion, Reverence, and Transformation in Theistic Satanism** https://preview.redd.it/4okady917scg1.jpg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=431557e79c260b84f6079f6e7e46e7ae95d8c0cb In the Theistic Satanic current, sovereignty and self-mastery require direct engagement with forces of power and transformation. Among these forces, Abbadon—often called “the Destroyer”—holds a singular place. He is revered as a guardian of thresholds, a shadow sovereign, and a force of transformation. Abbadon is not to be approached lightly. For those who wish to devote themselves to him or work with him consciously, respect, clarity, and intention are essential. His e...

Trump now a tyrant restrained only by ‘my own morality.’ We stop him with our own.

4h ago

By Will Bunch, Philadelphia Inquirer. https://www.inquirer.com/opinion/trump-powers-venezuela-ice-shooting-20260111.html Vladimir Lenin, who famously (may have) said there are decades when nothing happens and weeks when decades happen, probably would have been flabbergasted by the century that took place in the first week of January 2026. America’s battered psyche had barely processed Donald Trump’s dictate to illegally bomb Venezuela — killing as many as 100 people — and capture its ruler when a political earthquake struck Minneapolis, where an ICE agent’s stone-cold killing of a 37-year-old mom in her SUV, captured on multiple videos, shook the national conscience. These two...

He’s almost 6 and still not outgrowing toddler-level impulses and reactions. How can I help him?

4h ago

My son is almost 6. He’s always been very independent and totally driven to his goals. Looking back, this was so clear: at 18m his favourite thing was to toddle around a shopping mall with me following behind, exploring the whole place (especially if he saw anything with numbers on). If I tried to stop him or redirect him his response was very vocal and frustrated. He could read at 2 and moved on to times tables thereafter. His visual memory is incredible - he loves transport maps and has the NYC, Paris and London networks commuted to memory (should you need directions ;-) With these gifts, has come some very challenging behaviour. He reacts terribly when being told ‘no’ or if he make...

Quality Glass Nail File - that is available in Canada

5h ago

Hello esteemed nail people of reddit. I did a deep dive of this sub and salon life on youtube and now I'm in the market for a quality nail file. I've read on this sub that Mont Bleu and Germaikure are the top brands for glass nail files, and that czech etched glass is the best for natural nails. I live in Canada and boycott scam-azon and am having a very hard time figuring out where else to get one of these files, or something comparable. I've checked sephora, salon supply stores, pharmacies, sally's, online shops for local nail salons, department stores etc. Canadians, where are you getting your files? I'm tempted to order stright from Mont Bleu in the Czech...

Teenage/young women fragrances - Vanilla Freesia

5h ago

As someone who has really dove into the fragrance world this past year, a funny thing happened. I’m a mid 40’s male that finally discovered the world of fragrances outside of your standard department store designer options. I enjoy vanillas scents and had purchased Korres Vanilla Freesia, which I really love but it wasn’t something I was going to wear. Before deciding to return it, I let my young teenage daughter try it to see if she liked it and she absolutely loved it. She isn’t “into” perfumes yet but does dabble with the body sprays such as Sol de Janiero. With her liking of the Korres, I’ve been wanting to see what else out there that may be similar and safe for a younger ...

WIBTAH for not telling my coworkers I’m transferring, and leaving them a goodbye card instead?

5h ago

A new Team Lead position opened in my department. I interviewed and didn’t get it; someone else did. Before the announcement, I had already applied to the same role at another store, interviewed, and got it. I transfer in two weeks and I’m already off the schedule after that. Out of 14 coworkers, only my manager and one friend know. I get along well with everyone and genuinely like them, but I really dislike attention, goodbyes, or any kind of farewell event. When I transferred *into* this department years ago, I basically faded out of my old one and would prefer to do the same here. I’m considering: * Saying nothing and leaving a handwritten card they’ll see the next day, thank...
