As of late management has been keeping a rather close eye on me, a couple nights ago at the end of the evening huddle i asked the DS who called it if i could go do my returns cause i had 2 full shopping carts of them, they said "yeah, go ahead" and 2 days after that i got pulled to the back by an ASM and they told me someone reported i didn't get carts that night, i informed them i spoke to the DS at the time about it and they gave me the ok, the ASM still gave me an ear full about it and so on, then 2 days after that reported AGAIN for the same thing but i had clocked out 6 minutes early and as i was clocking out they did the overhead page about going and getting shopping car...

My store made changes to all day shift (AM-4PM) grocery/cold area and Cap 1 associates. So now, dairy, meat, and frozen associates are solely responsible for their areas. Cap 1 only has to vizpick and work Grocery and GM bins, which is going to free up time for Cap 1. That's the ****** part because now Cap 1 is going to spend Wednesday-Friday morning and afternoon purging. Purging is the **absolute worst.** Thankfully i'm transferring to dairy department. Update that no one asked for, my credit score dropped 20 points from the hard inquiry. I called the issuing bank to see if there was something I could do about it. I told them how the card was opened without me fully knowing it was a credit card and they sent me to the frauds department and the agent over there documented everything and filed a dispute and said that it could count as fraud but a full investigation will happen and so now I will be waiting to see if it can be removed. Relevant Info: my daughter (15) is EXTREMELY good at communicating her plans and whereabouts to me. I mean, if we are in the same store but in different departments she tells me if she is going to the bathroom kinda stuff. Hey all. Like a noob, I went out and bought the Glock during that frenzy last year when they were saying it was going to be discontinued. I figured the Gen 6 would look hideous or something, so I paid $700 for a Glock 19 MOS Gen 5 just because I wanted to have it. Knowing what I know now, I probably should have just waited it out since there’s really no meaningful difference with the new one. As a TM, I feel like the TLs and TTs and other upper management have their own sense of community with one another and kind of just ignore or brush aside us regular TMs. Is this just my store or anyone else feel the same? I’ve been here about a year, never once mentioned or appreciated by any leaders just other TM’s in departments I help out in when I can. I work e-commerce but I’m cross trained in grocery. the TM’s appreciate me but I’ve never gotten any recognition from the leaders or upper management.

There has been talk amongst the team members in my department on conflict of interests or favoritism. Both? Our TL hired someone who is dating her niece. He was recently promoted to OW after only being with the company for a few months. They passed up a TM who has been waiting for this position to open up and has been with the company for years. Basically just what the title says. How long were you working at Target before you started to feel comfortable and like you were an established employee who was looped in to what’s going on at your store? I’m still in the phase where I feel like the new kid at school who doesn’t get the inside jokes and gets left out of a lot of conversations. It’s such a frustrating feeling. It seems like there’s a lot of disorganization in my department. I’ve heard little bits and pieces here and there about how a bunch of people quit at once around six months ago, and I know there is probably a lot of tea on what’s going on that my coworkers aren’t sharing with me yet.
