I purchased a liquid cooled Aurora R16 with a 4070-S and 1000W PSU in 2024 (i9-14000K). This was before the 50 series cards were released and I'm wondering if they are compatible with this older model as I don't recognize the CPUs models available on the Alienware store today. If the 50 series cards aren't compatible (assuming I could find one that fits), is it still worth upgrading to a 4090 or waiting a few years to get a whole system upgrade? I'm mostly looking for a boost in the VR department as Star Citizen finally officially supports it so I'm looking at upgrading my GPU or a slight upgrade to my HMD. I wanted to order this as a gift for my mom so I can use my discounts on top of the sale, but it’s not letting me add to cart. We even have the sets at the store I work at (hence the pickup option), but it’s still grayed out. I’m out of town until Sunday night, so I doubt I’ll be able to stop in store and buy it.

They've tried to turn this Sears into a car dealership but it's still unmistakably a Sears. The mall map and signs still point to Sears even though they've been closed since 2020. Sadly the rest of the mall, apart from the food court and Target isn't in much better shape. JCPenney also closed half a year ago and the mall owners have announced plans to demolish it since 2022 although nothing has happened since. For now, that entire place is stuck in limbo I guess. I forgot to check my keys back in today and I’m freaking out. I have never forgot to bring keys back either to the overnight coach (when I couldn’t get into the key box and I was given a set by a team lead for the night) or to check them in myself now that I can. I’ve been here for almost 6 months and I really like my job, what’s the chances I’ll get in trouble? We got a new ETL about a month ago and everyone here despises him. I’m always in the DU department and my TL would vouch for me being one of the top DU team members at our store. How did I go from max hours and only working in DU to getting all check lane shifts and 1/3 of my hours cut? How should I approach my new ETL? I (25M) have a Cyber Security Engineering degree from a popular university, I graduated in May of 2024. After almost a year of unemployment and thousands of job applications, I gave up trying to find a related job. Now I fix/build bicycles for $15 an hour in a department store. What is my next move? I am thinking about some sort of an apprenticeship program, but no idea where to start or what program to pursue. As a part of my university degree, I have surface level knowledge of electrical engineering, and I know 2 programming languages. I would appreciate any ideas or advice.

I think it's impressive how big of a heel turn the housing department at this university has managed to do in such a short time. A year ago, you would have been able to secure a dorm for a full semester for around 4k.
