Hi. I am a US citizen, about to complete my bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering. My bachelor's degree is from BITS Pilani, which is kind of known for its harsh grading and by virtue of that, my CGPA is not great (6.71 which is about 2.8 in american scale). This CGPA will be a 7 at the end of my final semester(about a 3.00 in GPA terms). It does not convert well to the GPA scale. I have a solid resume. I understand the law talks about single use plastics and I am all for brining my own bags. But I often go to a clothes store or department store where I have bulky heavy items. I don't plan for it like a food shop so I have to pay for a flimsy bag which is hopeless and can't be reused even if I wanted to. Why are we being charged for paper bags?
