I’ve returned things before and I can usually pick Kohls or the UPS store by me. This time, the only option it gave was an Amazon Counter at a Whole Foods 15 miles away in the opposite direction of my house/work. I saw a post from about a year ago with people saying they’ve dropped off packages at places beside what it forced them to pick with no issue, but I didn’t know if something had changed in policy since then. It’s a gaming controller that I briefly used (ordered a week ago), so I don’t know if the prompts I entered were causing the one location drop-off, but I also tried it saying “no, never used” but it’s still forcing that location.

Depop told me today that they were not accepting third party receipts anymore after I provided them with my emailed receipt from Sephora for an item a BRAND NEW user received, and to try and keep for free claimed it wasn’t authentic. I’m a key carrier at my store and nothing makes me more irritated than customers asking for a markdown because of the packaging being damaged and not the actual product. I had a cashier call me up to discount something and it was a set of four coffee cups. The cardboard holding them together looked ripped apart and you could see all the coffee cups were perfectly fine, not chipped, not damaged, nothing.
