I keep getting this message saying their department is in a meeting... Ive called ethics a few times and when I explain what's going on they say I need to talk to associate relations... I'm taking a leave of absence because my team lead for very upset that I went to the store manager after he kept ignoring the issues... I feel like each store has a department that’s always behind due to understaffing or whatever but at my store it has to be beauty. they have like 16 pallets of repacks in the storage trailer and tons of boats under the steel. They only have 2 people working over there and one only works like 2 days a week. They’ve been behind since the holidays. I wanna switch departments i can’t do online anymore it’s so poorly managed at my store and i’m so over it. I wanna change to nightfill bc grocery doesn’t need people in my store anymore. i’m just scared that i’ll be talked about or fired for being slow bc i’m already slow in online. Hey guys I want to gain the courage to ask my SM to make a permanent switch from DIY to commercial. I've been covering for all of our drivers for the past three weeks and instead of my SM hiring another driver, I thought that I should be one. Has anyone switched departments before at their own store and how was the process? I am cross-trained pretty well at this point so I think it'll benefit my store anyway.
