Not an employee so mods feel free to remove but this is seemingly the most active community of retail employees on the site. I walk into my local Canadian Tire, which a hybrid department store that carries almost everything under the sun, I think my store has 60\~ isles, and I ask a lady where the computer duster is, and she instantly tells me where! A tiny can of air in a store filled with almost 100 isles, thousands of items! I was thoroughly impressed and I’ve always wondered how you folx do it.

For some context - I am applying for the SIT program and my career advancement planner advised that I talk to all the department heads and managers at my location to ask for advice on SIT and upward mobility within the company. (Side note: any advice you might have that you want to post in the comments would also be appreciated) I have talked to all of my local AGMs and I am currently traveling to visit some friends and I had the crazy idea to chat with some AGMs at the Costco in their city. Does the open door policy extend to all Costco locations for employees or am I out of bounds for trying to talk to AGMS who are not at my store?

This is an update from a few days ago. I have added more datapoints. My thesis is that web traffic is a measure of consumer interest in kohls (month to month) and that it is correlated to overall revenue just like foot traffic is. Last Quarter, Placer was dead on with my personal foot traffic analysis and the revenue drop. In addition, revenue was .88% better than the web traffic. In 1Q and 2Q, I do not have Placer quarterly results, but when I compare revenue with web traffic, revenue is within +/- 5% of web traffic (maybe store clearance sales throws Q1 off). I am currently employed part-time with my job and it seems nearly impossible to get out of. It's insane to think about, but I've experienced some major hurdles when it comes to trying to get hired as someone who works part-time.
