Over the past few months I’ve been trying to get in contact with people about placing a small vending-style machine inside a grocery store. Is it best to go through the store manager, people lead, or my department manager for a change in department? (This is at a NBHM if it matters ) also which one for a transfer and how does that process work?

Now that buy buy baby is gone and everything is online these days, I feel like I have no options for in person browsing. Even stores like Ashley furniture say “online only” when browsing their crib section or nursery section. I live in Temecula, CA. Kohls had some strollers but not many options for the furniture shopping part of nesting. Any recommendations?

Can't believe I've stuck around so long. I've been wanting to change departments to checking for over 2 years and my store director just keeps dangling it over my head. She keeps telling me i need to "prove" that im fit for the job. Meanwhile, she's hired 5 new checkers in the past 9 months. I had almost given up on getting this bag. I went to return some items to Macy's on Thursday and decided to check out the Coach department. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her! I immediately asked to try it on and instantly told the SA let's head to the register because this baby is sold! Went directly to the Coach store from there and had my cute Girl Math tag made for her. So happy!

I’m honestly sick to my stomach writing this and I don’t know what the right thing to do is. I manage a grocery store in a pretty small town. Everyone kind of knows everyone here. A lot of us go to the same church, same schools, etc. About two weeks ago we got a shipment of prepackaged chicken from a distributor. Normally when something gets close to expiration we mark it down and try to move it. If it goes past the date, technically we’re supposed to throw it out. Hello! This might sound like one of the dumbest questions ever haha, but I was wondering if anyone knew where and how to find good head-coverings? All I have right now is a super heavy scarf that I got from a department store years ago, thought it was sufficient enough, and now I’m stuck getting a bit too frustrated here and there with how it falls off every five seconds. Sitting in my room this morning and my mom comes in and says ‘I wanna do something ****** and go on a big shopping spree’ cook whatever and I said ‘alright’ and then said ‘I want you to come with me and if I seem like I’m having a panic attack I need you to calm me down’. I’m sitting there confused and like ‘ok?’ Because what if I don’t notice a panic attack from her? She also says ‘when I get to meat department i mentally go batshit crazy so just tell me to calm down’. She does this alot to me. I always have to go to the store with her not my sister, me! It’s really starting to take a toll on my own mental health and idk what to do anymore.

Am I misremembering or doesn’t anyone else remember department stores selling baby chicks around Easter time? My wife grew up on a farm and never heard of such a thing. I’m sure I do. I even remember them coming dyed in different colours.
