What is your first book of the year?

Change will happen, but what do you think will change over the next five years? Will the retail business swing back towards more focus on staff to bring back customers? Will online be elevated to compete with Target/WalMart/Amazon? Will we ever get fine jewelry back? Maybe remodel the stores and update the layouts? Will department leads and full time associates make a comeback? Or, will they go out of business?

I volunteer at a very small local thrift store in my college town. If we get any clothes with stains we cannot superficially clean with a Clorox wipe or damp towel we redonate them to another charity which I presume is a rag house. However we tend to loose a lot of really nice clothes to staining this way. Is there a better quick way to handle/diagnose small to medium stains? This is especially hard for me since in the men's clothing department I don't get as much to begin with and much of it is stained.

Hello, this New World Department Store is quite famous as an abandoned building, but I won't go into that kind of thing. Instead, I'll talk about what it was like when it was still open! Around 1989-1990 was the mall's peak period, and many people knew it was an illegally constructed building. The additions and modifications to the original four-story building transformed it into a mall over ten stories high; it was absolutely insane. My mom received a phone call from a person claiming to be Rogers' loyalty department (telecommunications company here in Canada) that she's gotten a voucher which would reimburse her the price of a brand new phone. She doesn't question this and went out and bought a brand new S25 from an actual Rogers store (not a scam I've been there myself). She then calls the person back and provides them with the IMEI number and no other information, from what she's told me. So the scammer has the IMEI number of a phone that's never been turned on, as well as my mother's phone number. What might happen as a result of this? Are her accounts safe?

You ever walk into a store that isn’t yours and just like, judge it? I don’t work in my town, I’m in college and when I started, it was during the school year. I transferred half an hour away to another store during the summer since it was closer to home, and just never transferred back. This is kind of a store shaming post without naming the store.
