So, I work overnights as a stocker 3 or 4 days a week, once a week I help file hang tags/signs overnight to get some extra hours. I pick up things pretty quick and ended up been the backup for our file maintenance lead for about 2 years now. They know I'm a reliable and competent worker and have always been okay with me covering the lead's vacation weeks with my overnight schedule. I've applied for well over 100 roles, all that I am perfectly qualified for. I received this email today and have no idea if it's legit or not. Has anyone heard of this company? The last 3 supervisor positions that have been filled at my store have all been external hires of family relatives to a current TL at my store. It gets talked about a lot by TMs here too, and qualified internal applicants do not even get interviews, while family members seem to immediately get the position. For example, the new sign and pricetag maker used to be an in store shopper (with her mom) and immediately got the position, but my department supervisor (who alreadyhas the experience they are looking for) didn't get an interview. Is there anyone to bring this up to, preferably not at my store?

I'm an assistant manager in the bakery. I told my department manager last week I had a Dr appointment on the 9th at 2:30. she scheduled me 11-7. I've already cancelled twice to cover shifts. I've been out of my medication for 2 months.I emailed the store director and explained the problem.the store manager said my manager gets to pick my schedule because I'm a specialized employee. Currently my store is pushing this heavily week by week. First they assigned me and about 6 others who are all the store openers for the primary departments - all of us who were never talked to, and was assigned solely from what we are told “because we are the openers we have EARNED this role” - None of us want to have this role, it’s very obvious, but we’re here. Hello all, I got my bonus in work today and I've decided to treat myself to some new IEMs. My current favourite is the BGVP DMA, which is why I'd like advice from those who own them. What I enjoy about them and prioritise is the energetic tuning, strong mid-bass, and bone conduction goodness. I'd like my next IEM to have the same characteristics. With all of the department’s calamities during my second year, there was one bright spot for me. As the school year ended, I received a notice from an academic journal that they wanted to publish my research article. The piece was a truncated version of my dissertation, and I was a little surprised that they accepted it. Typically, my work faces several rejections before somebody decides it is worthy of publication. Everybody needs to get their digs into my research. I get it. I purchased some 2-cycle oil ($5.69) a couple days ago, figuring it would qualify for 1of3 required purchases for a 6,000 point bonus in DIY & Automotive. It rang up on receipt as "General merchandise". Went to the store today and they said it should qualify but nothing they can do about it. When I search up that same item on the app it comes up under the Automotive department, so it should qualify. What's the easiest way to resolve this without too much headache? Store was no help.
