I cosplayed Neuvillette in his Lantern Rite skin - Melusent Gift today. This was my first time ever attempting to cosplay a character, and boy, did I pick a high difficulty level! I posted some pics yesterday before I had it in hand. The gem looks much different in person, especially after cleaning. My friend who works at a custom jewelry store (not a professional jeweler) thinks it COULD be aquamarine, but she isn’t sure. It’s sat in a 14K white gold ring, it does NOT scratch easily (I tried with a metal tool earlier, can’t scratch it), and it feels noticably colder than the metal around it if I set it down for a few minutes and leave it.
