I only use paper headed for the trash- newspaper, old cards, a cookbook my dogs tore up, etc. Depending on the type of paper and design on it, I may color or write on it. I cut all of the pieces into squares, glue them on cardstock, mod podge when I’m done. Pic of a batch of recent ones, creating some out of a Lush bag, and an example of the coloring.

I bought a new crew neck to print on, washed it (no fabric softener), and dried it. I rolled speedball ink from a tube onto a speedball stamp pad that I carved myself. I placed it onto the fabric, pressed down with my hands for a few seconds, and then let it air dry for a few hours. Once it was dry to the touch, I placed parchment paper over the design and ironed it on the highest setting for about 3-5 minutes. A few days later, I turned it inside out and washed it with some other clothes on a cold setting, and the print came off completely :( Thankfully, I was able to just print again. I'm petite and have a very hard time finding suits that fit. Narrower shoulders, location of ****** darts, crotch length, these are things that aren't easy to alter. Upscale suiting brands don't really do petites or other nonstandard sizes. Theory? Brooks Bros? Forget it. J. Crew used to carry super 120s in petite (amazing) but no more. I will say Lands End has a washable wool blazer and (lined!) pants where you can customize the inseam length from the site. Tall girls can also rejoice. No additional tailoring needed.
