I have recently become interested in vintage denim and 100% cotton denim jeans. It started with a visit to my local Goodwill and a purchase of a pair of J Crew jeans, they soon became my favorite. Then a watched a few YouTube videos and it got going. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole! I now have quite a collection of Levi’s, Lee, Arizona, X2, J Crew, Kirkland Costco, Bugle Boy, and a few others all of them 100% Cotton. Priced from $4.50 to $9.99 and one pair of X2 were $14.99. I have more than I need and I like the hunt when I’m thrifting. I can’t keep getting more jeans and I’m not interested in reselling. How do I curtail this?

I’ve noticed that many fabrics that are intentionally designed to contact skin like bedding and clothing are softer on the outside and rougher on the side that touches skin, which seems backwards. For example, socks. Socks are always flat and smooth on the outside, but bumpy and scratchy on the inside. Same with sweatshirts and crew necks. Another example is throw blankets. Many blankets have a velvety, colorful topside while the bottom is woolen and itchy. Is there a benefit to this arrangement?

This is the second project this company and crew have done and the first was great! This one has problems but I'm not sure how bad it really could be. Shower install with trim that we agreed "They prime, we paint" A. this board was too short so the corner didn't meet correctly. Also, the shower inset seems to sink into the drywall as it goes down. B. other side seems fine. (there is drywall damage through out where the anchor screws were exposed and if this were the extent, I'd just mud and paint..though we didn't plan to paint more than trim) C. the board seems like it might have been cut in place. Something that has always made me feel gross is products and clothing with brands on them, which turns whoever is using it into a walking ad. I understand wanting to wear a shirt repping a music band you like or maybe even a small company you support. While I think its ******, I get the logic behind wanting certain visible logos of "luxury" brands to signal your own wealth and status. Ok, so I haven’t played DD or SoJ yet. So I can’t really say how they stack up. But otherwise, I was genuinely astounded by how amazing I2 was. Especially after I1 had me begging for its end and taking constant multi-month breaks throughout its run.
