I'm working on a short film and going to shoot a few scenes in the woods where 2 actors will walk into them. Their characters are drunk in the scene, and they will point the flashlights at each other (not their face, just their clothes). I also want to shoot some insert shots where the flashlight points at the woods. I'm looking for flashlight recommendations that won't cause flicker, will be able to light the area at which it's pointed at brightly. I also require high CRI, and they must be dimmable (so the actors don't go blind when they point them at each other). I am considering using xenon flashlights as they have a CRI rating of 99 but am afraid of them getting...

I bought these used j crew boots for a great price but I am unhappy with the color. Was wanting a more purple burgundy and the boots are an orange red almost. Would I be able to polish or dye these boots closer to the burgundy I want? It’s a pull-up leather and I know that’s a heavily waxed oil so I was wondering if it would affect the leather to change the color. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
