Faherty Sunglasses Review: Best Polarized Sunglasses Under $150

3h ago

I've been a Faherty clothing fan for a while now so when they dropped their own sunglasses I grabbed a pair mostly out of curiosity. That was a while ago and I now own three pairs. Let me explain. I started with the [August](https://go.shopmy.us/p-54212557) in Rosewood Tortoise which is their preppy square shape. I wanted something that looked sharp but didn't scream "I spent money on these." The fit is really dialed in at 50-19-150 and they sit on my face perfectly without sliding down or squeezing my temples. They have these heritage striped metal hinges that are a really nice subtle detail. You don't notice it until someone is like wait what are those and then yo...

Roofing in Buffalo

3h ago

I am a *********** woman that has been doing roofing for 17 years. I am going to be opening a roofing company in Buffalo New York. Our employment is going to be transcentric, if anybody is looking for blue collar work in the Western New York area, I believe in work ethic treating my people right with patience and support and proper pay scale. You do not have to worry about me trying to create BS reasons to dock your pay or pay you a lesser wage to make up for profit loss, as both me and my partner have very well salary positions and can afford Financial hiccups. I will be starting my first official all year contract next Roofing season spring 2027. Work will be all year round outside exten...

1 Timothy 3:1 KJV \[1\] This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. When I was a young man, I used to be a pastor. When I was fairly new to being a pastor, our congregation was small. Seventy five people on a good Sunday, maybe a hundred or so on around Christmas and Easter. We weren't the smallest in the area by any means, but we were in fact a small church. So I spent my afternoons working at the nearest Home Depot, so that I could have insurance and to supplement my pastor's salary and not be a monetary burden on my flock. After the coal mines went dry, the only places to work in our town were either Walmart or Home Depot, and I wa...

Annapolis Mall Potential Upcoming Tenants? Thoughts?

4h ago

Hey everyone, I've recently developed interest into the status of Annapolis Mall, and had snooped around to see if I could find any information in regards to them bringing in new brands. I came across the pitch book for the marketed future tenant spots , but was wondering if anyone else has heard about these new tenants! I'm happy to see Annapolis recovering especially after loosing a Nordstrom and Westfield Selling the entire property to a new management. I've attached what I saw on the pitch book below, not sure if Leasing Agents has finalized these deals. Also, H&M and Teh North Face seems to be removed off of this book. And it seems that they added Alo, Abercrom...

Sometime during the Orionite War for National Rejuvenation, the Battle of Tau Aquila would occur. It would see the light Orionite Fast Response Force Casimir Pulaski, under the Zheng He-class Heavy Cruiser OFNS \*\*Casimir Pulaski\*\*, face off against a numerically superior Austrickan force under the Battlecruiser \*\*Ketheli\*\*. Although outnumbered and outgunned, Fast Response Force Casimir Pulaski would be able to perform an organized retreat under the cover of the titular heavy cruiser. Although most of the task force made it out, \*\*Casimir Pulaski\*\* would suffer critical damage to its drive core, precluding any attempt to retreat from the battle. Electing to stand and fight, its...

Looking for an outside pov on how to handle my ex and his gf in regards to my kid

4h ago

This is going to be really long, so sorry in advance. Some backstory: I (F32) got married quite young to my ex-husband (M33), who I will call D. We had our daughter (F11) when I was 20. We had a very bad marriage... lots of mental/emotional abuse, and nearly became physical, which is why I finally left. I wish I had left sooner, but I can't change that. My daughter was 4 when we split. Naturally, it was a bad split. Even when we were together, he was not the most attentive father. He had his moments, but... mostly just very neglectful. After we split, he would take her here and there. I originally wanted to try to do 50/50 because I wanted my daughter to still have her father, but he ...

HOT TEA Incoming: The Truth About H & M's Empire "They Are Wildly Unhappy" This is my 2nd attempt...

4h ago

Dan Wakeford has posted a fascinating look into the Harckle's "Empire" on his substack Celebrity Intelligence (celebrity-intelligence.com). To put his position in context, Wakeford authored the *People* cover story in which M's friends went on the record to defend her and the *US Weekly* cover story in which her employees went on the record to defend her. **Props to Dan Wootton Outspoken** for bringing this to light. I HIGHLY recommend Dan's YouTube video where he covers this (I can't post the link...it might have been one of the reasons that my last post was flagged and deleted by reddit). Some of this is not new information; however, Wakeford's coverage...

Buying a Suit in the city

5h ago

I am currently in the market for a new suit for spring / summer weddings (with the first one next weekend) and cannot decide where to go to get a good quality suit (for under $1k). I have looked at SuitSupply and my GF has wants me to get one at J Crew but there are just so many options. I live in Chelsea if that matters but it doesn’t need to be super local. Any suggestions?

The Watch Cap: Cruel Sea to Coffee Bean

[Arctic Cap with Fox](https://preview.redd.it/cwu1ontj6swg1.jpg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=494c14234d1ecc51868ab394f4139710d836e998) From the cold seas of the North Atlantic to the streets of modern cities, the watch cap has never gone out of style. It is, perhaps, one of the simplest garments ever devised. Worn by Norse fishermen and Navy SEALs, by Hollywood icons and coffee shop regulars alike. Few items of clothing have crossed so many boundaries of class, culture, and era while remaining essentially unchanged.  **Mary Rose and Monmouth** The watch cap's origins lie in the maritime communities of Northern Europe, where the combination of cold, wet w...

Two Stories about the Dry Tortugas (Journey Account, early April)

6h ago

The Dry Tortugas (the name of which comes apparently from having 1) no fresh water, 2) but lots of yummy sea turtles) is a 19th century fort out at the end of the Florida Keys. In a world of sailing ships, it had a number of virtues (besides the yummy turtles). It sits at intersection of shipping lanes coming out of and into the Mississippi River and the beginning of the Gulf Stream. It has a deep water harbor protected from storms coming up from the south. A fort there thus offered a large amount of control over the coming and going of ships, both commercial and military. The challenge of building such a fort, however, was enormous. The islands are 70 miles west of Key West, have no f...
