sm posted this today and I’m just :((( basically my/my sm’s interpretation of dress code policy up to this point was that “chest covered” meant no cleveage/ no low cut shirts and to be told that it actually means “basically turtlenecks and crew necks” a year after I already bought a bunch of new clothes for this job that had been fine up to this point is just really frustrating. Even my sm was caught off guard, who, according to this was out of dress code today Also being told that necklaces need to be tucked = no necklaces so short that they can’t be tucked. I can see myself avoiding thinking about this altogether or ruminating over it until mere hours before I toe the start line, moving things around. I want to a) keep things extremely simple and predictable, b) reduce decision-making at aid stations, and c) move in and out of aid stations quickly as I want to be competitive. I will carry anti-chafe and light meds (specifically stomach) on me throughout the race, assess feet at every AS and address issues if needed, and eat real food at AS when hungry. Solid foods while I run have not been kind to me and I found what works. Any thoughts? Thank you!
