I've been working on my wardrobe and trying to dress in a way that feels more "me" for the past couple of years. My size has made that less than easy, because I'm in the fun position of being too small for most plus-sized clothing and a little too big for some straight-sized clothing. I keep seeing some great clearance prices on J. Crew's ludlow suit pieces. I know that one particular size tends to fit me perfectly right off the rack. However, many of these currently discounted suits are "Japanese Cotton Chino" or "Italian Cotton Blend." To me, it's setting off some warning bells that these are lower quality garments, but I wanted to ask the minds at work here if my suspicion is true. I've got wool and linen suits that I love, but I don't think I've gotten a cotton suit. What's the 411 on this stuff?
