A little while back I did a consult with Dr J at Mayo, and my HI came out to be a very frustrating 3.2. While I did have some symptoms, everything was so “on the edge” that Dr J was reluctant to recommend surgery for me. She thought I needed to get my POTS-like symptoms investigated more. Hi!! im a college student, and im autistic, going through some medical tests. I got a c and t spinal mri (i think.. idk im just a patient) and.. it was one of the worst medical tests I've ever gone throw so far in my life. And ive had allergy tests on my back, full emgs, whatever. Started simple. I changed my clothes and took my nose ring out. I got my IV in my hand after a quite a few failed, bruising pokes in my arm. They took me back and explained everything to me. it would take about and hour and a half to two hours, and I wouldn't be able to move for 45 minutes at a time.
