So i'm sitting here still in shock trying to do the worst expense/insurance claim of all time, and wondering if I have a leg to stand on in asking for any further compensation from the airline beyond the norm. I was stranded at Schiphol from January 3rd until 8th. As many have already reported, the phone and online help services were either completely disconnected or non-responsive (I'm STILL in hold for the KLM WhatsApp queue since January 3rd!) I'm running a homebrew campaign with EXTENSIVE homebrew lore, from the creation of Aeteron (the world) down to the lives of important persons. My wife is playing a Changeling Assassin who was adopted by the leader of a smuggling group known as The Black Hand. I am trying to catch some Meteor Weather Satellites (137.9Mhz) and have had pretty decent results with a DIY V-Dipole. I tried a 145MHz gamma matched Arrow Satellite Antenna (the dual band one, but just mounted the 145Mhz elements) and it is similar in performance, BUT 'syncs' within 1 second, wheres my dipole needs a few minutes, in which i miss most of the pass. Seeing how well the DIY V-dipole did, I wanted to try my hand at a yagi, I build two now, but they are terrible. When measured with nano-vna they seem fine, 48-58 Ohms on the Smith chart and SWR of 1.2. But I cannot get them to perform like the Arrow antenna, not even like my (literal) clothing hanger V-dipole.
