I’m trying to find a wooden tv stand that’s actually built well, and the more I look around, the more everything starts feeling sketchy. Before I end up with something that bows under my TV in a year, I’m hoping people here can point me toward brands or specific models that genuinely hold up. A couple days ago I asked here for advice on how to approach fixing up an old side table I bought from a thrift store for 6 bucks, and while I didn't follow all of the advice I did follow the general sentiment of not overdoing it and keeping its vintage charm. I just bought a Swiss cheese monstera and a BOP from ikea. Both look mostly happyish but their soil is definitely very wet. I really want to treat them with an bonide systemic because I noticed some gnats at the store. But—since the soil is wet is it okay to water them with the bonide mixed in now? Would this cause more harm since the soil is already wet? OR Should I pull the trigger and repot them now so I can get in front of the potential gnats and give them better draining soil? I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with gnats spreading from new plants to my established house plants in the past, so I’m reallllllly trying to avoid that. He is a Hugs & Cuddles brand plush. He's soft. NGL, I thought he was a husky puppy, but looking at the pattern, he might be intended to be a wolf pup? Anyhow, I found him at the thrift store in excellent condition. I got him so he could chill with Pickle (Ikea Husky) and Basil (Aurora Miyoni Husky puppy -I think he is 😂). I always wonder about that, when I find really nice plushies: Why are they here at the thrift store? What happened, that they had to be given away? I remember as a kid, my stuff was given away/thrown away without my consent, so sometimes I think it could be that. I hope it isn't, in most cases.
