Since some time ago, i've been in paint stores trying to figure out a combination of a couple of colors for a repair in my house. Going down the road with tinting machines, i believe i may have learned that around 25 or 35 years ago, an early tinting machine was introduce which seems to be able to generate around 572 colors. Searching with Google, it told me it may have used the color pastes listed below: Red Oxide, Raw Umber, Phthalo Blue, Yellow Oxide, and Black. So today I cracked open a bottle of Vanilla RTD that I bought from a store just a couple of days ago, a year left on the best before date, and the first mouthful was incredibly sour - spat it right out.
