Regretting my job interview

1m ago

Oh gosh I think nothing in this world will truly fit me. They were both really nice people that interviewed me but I believe I’m too socially anxious and awkward to work in this store and they also expect me to run the store by myself all alone one day. I told them I wasnt too sure because maybe I can? I’m kinda hoping they won’t hire me now 😭 at the same time I do need a job though.. URGHHH

Knee pain (Quadriceps Tendinopathy) - Anyone here dealt with this?

6m ago

I'm in my 30s. From what i've read knee pain isn't that uncommon but I guess my situation might be a bit different because I had to stop all sports for a couple of years before getting back into cycling. I had a lower back injury that made me stop doing any sports for a couple of years including cycling. So my only physical activity during that time has been walking + some dumbbell exercises at home for my biceps, triceps, shoulders, plus push-ups, that kind of thing. Anyway, my lower back injury has been resolved. Before this big break, i never had any issues with the knees. 2 months ago i started cycling again and was surprised that after just a couple of minutes i felt t...

Made a Joy-Con tennis racket for Mario-style games 🎾

I designed and 3D printed this Joy-Con racket to make tennis-style games more immersive. It’s a simple base model that can be customized in different ways. Feels like something that would fit perfectly in a Mario sports game 👀

Why do ya’ll even shop here?

6m ago

Never ever bought a single thing from Aritzia in my 31 years of life. I’ll tell you why I don’t shop here and it’s actually pretty funny and I don’t mind if you laugh but really my villain origin story - many of my elementary school bullies (snooty rich white kids) wore Aritzia so I had big time brand trauma stemming back to childhood and quickly clocked a silly bullshit social hierarchy the brand tried to sell and it did not align with my spirit. Things did not get better about a decade ago when I went into the store (for the first time) with my sister who was looking to return a pair of leggings she bought literally the day before. I guess while she was trying them on in the stor...

HOW TO MANIFEST FASTER AND MORE EASILY

7m ago

*HOW TO MANIFEST FASTER AND MORE EASILY* I started experimenting with a different and particularly unusual form of manifestation. You see, most people are trying to manifest money. Same way that most people are trying to manifest winning on a lottery ticket. It's the most cliché thing to do. I had a friend called Tony. She didn't really like to have money on her, apparently. She loved to have what money could do for her. She told me that she just left money in her bank account for a day when she would go to the mall or wherever and just get the object of her desires. Money wasn't the object of her desires. It was only a tool to get to the object of her desires. She manifes...

Long legs, short torso advice

8m ago

Hi chaps, I'm in the market for a new bike having ridden my current one into the floor. Some background for me. I am reasonably fit and well, 181cm tall with a 89cm inseam, I am moderately flexible and cycle 15-20 hours a week. I picked up Cycling around a year ago and have put \~10,000km into a 2015 trek series 1.1 (Stack 577, reach 387). I have always found the reach to be an issue. It has always been a touch too long for me, my elbows lock out if I'm properly on the hoods and in a comfortable riding position I find myself holding the bar a few cm behind the hoods. It has a 10cm stem and some non compact 42cm handlebars that I have never changed. Apart from a new saddle whi...

Apple's default exchange rates are killing your app revenue in developing countries. I built a tool to fix it using...

After digging deeper, I discovered the root cause—unreasonable pricing. Here’s a clear example: If you set a monthly subscription to $3 in App Store Connect, that price is very affordable in the U.S.—roughly the cost of a cup of coffee. But Apple aut...

KitchenAid food grinder review (KSMMGA, the metal one)... didn't expect to use it this often

18m ago

so i'll say upfront that I already owned the KitchenAid stand mixer. It's the artisan one, and I've been using it almost exclusively for bread dough and cookie batter since I got it as a wedding gift. I knew, in a sort of vague way, the power hub on the front could accept attachments, it's just that i never had a reason to use it. reason I started thinking about it was ground meat. specifically, ground chicken. I'd been buying the pre-packaged stuff for a while, for meal prep, weeknight stir-fries, the kind of dinners you make when you're tired etc, and it was mostly fine. but then I started noticing how wet it was? and kinda weirdly uniform. then i started...

Weatherproof Low-voltage Lighting Transformer

18m ago

Hello! I am looking for a weatherproof, low-voltage transformer to power just under 100 watts of LED deck step lights. I have gone through a couple home box store models that seem to die because they are not as weatherproof as they claim to be. Do you have a suggestion on a decent transformer that will fit my needs? One with an electrical plug. And it does not have to be a super high-end professional model. Just something reliable Thank you!

How Do XXXS Bikinis Cater to Unique Fit Needs?

20m ago

An XXXS bikini is designed for individuals who need a much smaller size than standard options. Finding the right fit in swimwear can be challenging, especially for those with petite body types. This size ensures a snug and comfortable fit without extra fabric, helping enhance confidence and style at the beach or pool. When choosing an XXXS bikini, material and design play an important role. Stretchable fabrics like spandex blends can provide better flexibility and comfort. Adjustable straps and tie-side bottoms are also helpful, allowing a more customized fit. Many people now explore online platforms like Alibaba to find a wider range of sizes and styles that are not always available in loc...

For me, it looks great. The build quality is good and fine. the paint job is also good. The frame is streamlined. The rear part is slim, so pillion does not have to spread their feet apart while seated. * The scooter is really co...
