I’m heading to San Francisco next month and I can’t eat gluten or dairy so I’m a bit worried about the food situation. I was wondering if anyone knows any food spots that cater for gf and df. Also I’m not from the US so if anyone has any snack recommendations to try whilst I’m there that would be useful too.

I‘m pretty sensitive about textures, smell and taste when it comes to food. I‘m not allergic but if certain foods (for example: mushrooms, olives, seafood, raw cheese, raw butter) somehow land in my mouth, i literally have to gag and i just can‘t swallow it. Sometimes as a kid i was forced to eat these foods so i ended up being pretty sensitive about that topic. Now as an adult I know that it could be ARFID and i just accept it as part of me. But not everyone around me gets it and often i‘m confronted with sentences like „Come on, there are just a few mushrooms in this sauce“ or „You can just pick whatever you don’t like off the pizza“ (But the taste still stays on that ...

Our boxer recently spent some time at a boarders and developed a minor cough. Because it wasn’t paired with lethargy or lack of appetite or any discharge I figured it was either allergies (‘Tis the season) or she chewed on something rough outside now that the snow is melted and scratched her throat. Hi all, we just got back from our 4 day Nassau/Cococay cruise on Radiance of the Seas. I just wanted to share our trip and my thoughts with you. I’m 6 weeks postpartum as of yesterday. Before the baby, my husband and I lived a pretty healthy lifestyle.
