My 100-lb male yellow Lab developed sudden facial swelling (around muzzle and eyes) starting yesterday morning. I noticed it the night before with red spots around his lips which were very unordinary but didn't think too much of it until the very bad swelling. We went to the E-vet yesterday and he was given a Benadryl injection, which helped somewhat. He’s otherwise acting fairly normal. Gave him 125MG of benadryl at 8pm last night as well which helped. My (rescue) kitten is about 3.5 months old. I’ve raised her since she was a week old and we have never had problems until now. We live in the US and because she’s a rescue, a local animal shelter does offer emergency health checkups. I don’t think they’re open today due to the holiday. Last night, I noticed a small piece of string made it into her poop. I found the source of the string (steinf spider webbing) and only a small portion was missing, so I know she didn’t have more than what appeared in her poop. Pictures taken at 10:30 AM on New Year's Day when people are struggling to get out of bed. Southdale Center is in the midst of a major transformation, with 50 new stores opening. The center court and luxury wing have filled out nicely, but the food court, first floor corridor, basement, and third floor have yet to follow suit. Likely, this is due to the strange expansions built into the mall, with weird nooks and cranny's that are hard to lease. However, the mall continues to transform and 2026 will bring new stores and luxury dining. Southdale is truly in the midst of a transformation.

As we all celebrated our new year, we got it a bit differently. We went to bandhwa for food distribution to needy people and kids. I have decided to go with Specialized through LBS due to quality/discounts/price/etc. 17 yrs road biking (last couple has been limited outside, but weekly rider on the peloton bike). My parking at work is terrible, but we have a nice bike cage and it is only 5 miles down hill one way, and then 5 miles all up hill home. Short stretch of 1/2 mile 10-12% grade. Work 4-5 days a week. Hey y’all! I have a 2022 X7 M50 that has a 4 year / 50K miles warranty. We started experiencing stuttering and a noise when in lower gears / speeds. It was also really noticeable when reversing. After getting the vehicle home from a grocery store trip, I called BMW and reported the issue. I also smelled and noticed gear fluid in the driveway. When checking the mileage, my heart sank when I saw it was 50,015. This appears to be the infamous transfer case issue where repairs have been reported to be in the 10-15K range.
