I work with a TNR rescue in my area and recently we found a cat. Turns out that the cat had been left behind by the previous owners because a girl in the neighborhood was very very anxious and attached to the cat. This cat is a full time outdoor cat because she and her dad have allergies so they cannot bring him indoors. Their house is across from a big trail which has a LOT of coyotes. Until we came by yesterday to speak with them, they had never bought him an outdoor shelter and hadn’t taken him to the vet for vaccines or anything else. I’ve had this 20 gallon tank set up for a bit and had no intentions on getting a betta, it was supposed to be for an axolotl. I had plans on stocking it with shrimp and feeder guppies to add more life to the tank as well as a food source. The store was pretty much out of feeder guppies but one did end up in the shrimp bag. Our friend and neighbor invited three couples to a Hanukkah latke party which takes place tomorrow. We are one of the two couples that RSVPed yes. Tonight, my husband’s cousin invited us to see a concert for my husband’s mom’s birthday the same night (24 hr notice). Husband wants to bail on the party. BM self-diagnosed SD7 as celiac about 2–3 years ago after SD7 experienced mild symptoms (small itchy bumps, occasional stomach aches, sometimes constipation). A gluten allergy test came back negative. The doctor said gluten intolerance was possible and explained the process for celiac testing. BM chose not to pursue testing because she felt it was too invasive. Despite this, BM has continued to state that SD7 is celiac. DH and I follow BM’s gluten rules as best we can.
