I’ve often seen people in need of help outside the grocery stores in my area. They usually don’t seem to be under the influence—just hungry and homeless. Whenever I see them, I try to get them something from the store, usually a warm meal if the hot food section is still open, or otherwise one of the ready-cooked meals and a few pieces of fruit. It usually costs me around $20. I’ve never actually spoken to any of them, since I’m pretty introverted, but I still want to help however I can.
