Spinoff Quests are beyond tedious and un-fun to do, yet mandatory should you wish to progress through the Hunter Ranks to progress main story. My main issue is, Spinoff Quests range between 40-59 steps per quests, averaging around 1 hour of gameplay with all dialogue skipped. It is beyond tedious to sit there and play drums, run back and forth between a food store and Eibon to rest, just to sit and play drums for two minutes. The rewards you ask? 1.5K hunter XP, which will not even push you to a level past level 17, and enough for 1 pull. It genuinely isn’t worth the time to sit there and bore your brains out ... So I started tracking. Spreadsheet first, then the notes app, then eventually I just built a small iOS app because checking labels every meal was driving me insane. It's a barcode scan or search through the built-in food database (200+ foods with USDA fiber data), daily ring, weekly chart. There's a plant diversity score too because the gut research keeps pointing at 30 unique plants a week. What I learned after a year: * I was eating 12g a day when I swore I was at 25g. * Diversity beats total grams once you're past 25. Same fiber, way different result. * Most... Does my friend like me!? Gl2h agoI need to know if my friend is just being friendly I (18F) have been classmates with this girl (18F) for three years now. I've been feeling weird around her lately; and it's some things she's done that caused this odd, fluttery feeling. For context, we're both straight. She's had two boyfriends before while I, for one, had never had one but struggled with crushes. She's a rather aggressive person, the kind that yells when others say nonsense, but she's usually very careful with me and always cares for me. She knows I'm quite the anxious, easily scared kind of girl, so she treats me gentler than she treats others (even if she's often kinda aggres... Modern Atheism is just the other side of Religious Fanaticism2h agoI am not arguing that God exists. I am not defending creationism, theocracy, religious literalism, or the real damage religious institutions have caused. My point is different. Both religious fundamentalists and many modern atheists make the same mistake from opposite directions. They both think religion is mainly about whether the stories are literally true. The fundamentalist says: “This matters because it happened exactly like this.” The shallow atheist says: “This is worthless because it did not happen exactly like this.” Both miss the point. The real question is not whether ancient people understood astronomy, biology, neuroscience, or history correctly. Of course they of... Spent a year tracking every gram of fiber I ate. It was located in the San Fernando Valley just a few miles from the medical center where we had first met some 15 years before when he was hired as an EKG technician. Misha was Russian-Jewish and as a teenager had been permitted to emigrate from the USSR. I had studied Russian in college. This knowledge facilitated my interviewing patients from the former Soviet Union who ended up in our ambulance area. I enjoyed pract... Spent a year tracking every gram of fiber I ate.
