Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Grocery Store Latest Community Discussions About Grocery Stores in USCar seat recommendations [NS]3h agoHello! Starting the search for infant car seats now that we’ve decided on our stroller system, will be purchasing the Uppa Baby Vista + Bassinet. Originally we were going to move forward with the Uppa baby mesa or aria infant car seats but have heard they will be too big for my 2018 Honda Civic LX. Would love a car seat that works with the adapters for the vista for quick doctors appointments and grocery store runs (I know there’s a 30 min limit to keeping baby in car seat). I’m 5’1, my husband is 6’2. I would say I’ll be driving baby about 70% of time, husband with us the remaining 30%. Thank you living is becoming unbearable3h agothis has been ruining up my life, please help the first semester of college ended for me the other day, and i feel like it got ruined by this whole situation its getting to the point where im crying multiple times about this. i havent been able to let this go since august is my reaction warranted? or am i doing too much? i have bawled my eyes about this multiple times, i've called several hotlines in tears, and i dont know if that's normal considering this isn't on purpose. this has bothered me everyday since august. i was hanging out with my sister the other and we were playing and my hand accidentally touched her chest. it wasnt my intention at all or sexually motivated, a... Changing consumer spending habits to create REAL change3h agoI see way too many posts where people are targeting the same few businesses: Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc. I think it’s silly to target a couple companies because every business has the same mindset especially publicly traded ones: infinite growth. It’s easy to avoid Amazon, but it’s not easy to avoid the stores around us we have to go to everyday in order to grocery shop and buy the things we need. Completely reframing your spending habits will target far more companies and industries than you realize. These companies REACT to consumer spending habits. You want to change these companies? Change your spending as a WHOLE. A recent post that inspired this one encouraged users to delete ... How to Be MORE Attractive: The Science-Based Guide That Actually Works3h agoI've spent months diving deep into what makes people genuinely attractive. Not the surface level stuff everyone parrots. I'm talking real research from behavioral psychologists, relationship experts, actual data. Because honestly? Most advice out there is recycled garbage that doesn't work. Here's what nobody tells you: attraction isn't about being "hot enough" or having the perfect body. It's about energy, presence, and how you make people feel around you. Society sells us this lie that we need to look like models or have six figure salaries. But the most magnetic people I know? They're just insanely comfortable with themselves. **Stop trying t... SeverLink - Announcement Trailer | Retro Stealth Action Game3h agoHey, folks! Just wanted to share this trailer for my upcoming game called **SeverLink** (*formerly Project KVASIR*). **SeverLink** is an anti-corporate, Y2K style stealth game, heavily inspired by a plethora of 2000s classics: from Splinter Cell and Hitman: Contracts to Peace Walker and Manhunt. The demo is being worked on at the moment, so check out [our Steam page ](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3285390/SeverLink/)and consider giving a wishlist if you like what you see! We're developing project in our spare time with my wife and some friends, using Unreal. One of the plugins that allows us to do that is an amazing [level design tool called Scythe](https://www.patreon.com/cw/Kr... How to get him to eat ~ 24hrs since adoption3h agoHi! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a kitten in the home as my other cats are seniors and living with my mom. My partner and I just adopted a baby siamese boy, his temperament so far is good (no hissing, biting or scratching, he even used the litter box once) we’ve had him for close to 24hrs now. It seemed the place we picked him up from was pretty high stress as there were 8 other adult cats all locked up in the same room. I’m a bit concerned because it’s definitely been over 24hrs since his last meal and he hasn’t had any water yet either. We bought him the same wet food he has been fed from previous owner as well as treats and dry food but he hasn’t taken to anything yet. ... Help finding replacement parts for Dagger Mamba3h agoI hope this is ok. I have a Dagger Mamba that I desperately need parts for. Specifically hip, seat, and back pads plus the straps. Previously, I was able to find replacement parts with little issue, even after the boat was discontinued, but I can't seem to find the back pad in stock at all now. Does anyone have recommendations for stores that still carry them, or offbrand that will fit? I'm in the US. Thank you! One year old symptoms only at night?3h agoHi all, I'm at quite a loss and am wondering if anyone else with kids with food allergies has experienced this. My daughter (14 months) has had a dairy intolerance since she was born. We tried to reintroduce a few times with it not going well. Her sleep progressively got worse and worse as we started solids. We were referred for food allergy testing. They tested for dairy, oat, soy, and pea. The dairy and oat came back positive for food allergy (although she has similar symptoms with pea so we have cut that out as well). Once we cut those out she started sleeping immensely better (first time sleeping through the night). Now after about a month or so (even though she has had no oat, dair... My friend in ICE infested Minnesota wants survival money for her friend, plus Technofascism Survival Guide3h agoI'm trying to do two things at once with this post. But they are both relevant to this sub. And you folks have been very helpful to me in the recent past. FWIW, I'm a Marxist in Toronto, I'm Kim Crawley (I can prove it upon request), the former cybersecurity professor who now mainly fights against Gen AI. First, my selfless thing. I promised my friend in Minnesota that I would signal boost this for her, in the wake of ICE: \-- People in the neighborhood where Renee Good was murdered have been under siege by CPB/ICE for weeks. People of color are not leaving their homes for fear of being swept up, and have run out of both food, and the money to purchase it. These are peopl... For those who are trying to recover, what made you say "I'm done" when it comes to trying to restrict?3h agoHere are the list of things that made me go insane. I was basically forced to throw in the towel when it comes to restriction after going through all of these 1. Needing to always have a banana and apple with me at all times as "emergency foods" whenever I leave the house because I would be so afraid of blood sugar drops and sudden hunger 2. The feeling of eating a normal-sized meal but still being hungry afterwards. I thought I lacked control and willpower but it was all just hunger and I couldn't fight it 3. Having insane food noise/obsessive thoughts of eating an entire loaf of bread, eating an entire bunch of bananas, eating 5 different kinds of apples, chugging a liter o... Which card for my situation- Amex Blue Cash Everyday or Chase Freedom?3h agoShopping for a new cc. I do not need travel rewards, rather, to maximize my cashback. I use my current (discover) card for groceries and dept stores mostly. Some medical copays. Currently employed. Would I be better served by Chase or Blue? What things should I consider? I haven't shopped for a card in a decade. Thank you. First Trip Report - Mystery Ranch District 18L3h agoI had the pleasure of trying out my new Mystery Ranch District 18L this past week on a One Bag overnight trip to Disneyland. I had such a great experience with it and wanted to report on the good, the great, and the few things that I would change to make it perfect for me. I know Mystery Ranch has gone through some major changes since being acquired by Yeti. And it feels like they are now phasing out Mystery Ranch bags completely, after borrowing some design features for the new Yeti bags. **The Good and Great** **Color -** I absolutely love the color. Blue is my favorite color, but navy is never bright enough for me. This blue is deep, rich, and really pops! It's even better in-per... First Chapter Feedback Requested — A Literary Novella About Aging, Solitude, and Ritual3h agoHi all — I’m sharing Chapter 1 of a short literary novella I recently finished. The story follows an aging Wisconsin hunter during what may be his final November season. It’s quiet, restrained, and focused on ritual, physical decline, memory, and the moment when pursuit turns into recognition rather than conquest. Stylistically, the prose is minimalist and observational—influenced by Hemingway and late McCarthy—so I’m especially interested in feedback on voice, pacing, sentence economy, and emotional resonance, not plot mechanics. I’m posting only Chapter 1 and would genuinely value thoughtful critique: what works, what doesn’t, where it drags, or where the restraint goes... Mayonnaise hot pocket guy haunts me3h agoSo I, 22m, used to work at a Deli . one of the things that we could make was subs. I got really good at making subs weirdly fast, I could still throw a sandwich together in a few seconds. It's kind of unholy, but anyway, one time I was Manning the substation, and this guy came up. I was around 18 at the time, so I was pretty new to the job, and I was still trying to figure out, you know, what different people liked ect, but this was the first time that somebody actually surprised me. I thought at first he might have just been a health freak because he was ordering a 6 inch white bread and he had me scoop out the inside bread. So i'm thinking, okay, carb cutter. he order... TIFU by accidentally hitting on a teenager3h agoSo I’m a single guy in my mid-twenties who’s been struggling to find a partner. I wouldn’t say I’m desperate—I’ve tried pretty much everything: dating apps, meeting people through mutual events, etc.—but nothing seems to be working. Friends, family, and even my therapist have suggested that I try meeting people more in person, which is something I really struggle with. I’m not the type to walk up to an attractive girl at the gym or a grocery store and start chatting her up. I’ve seen a lot of guys crash and burn doing that, and I don’t want to disturb anyone’s day. I’ve often thought of conversation starters when I’m out in public, but I usually miss my window of o... I built a small Android app to help couples spend more intentional time together3h agoHi everyone, I wanted to share a small Android app I built for couples, especially those in long-distance relationships. I built it because my partner and I noticed that over time our calls were starting to feel passive. We talked a lot, but often ran out of things to do together beyond chatting or watching something. The app is a simple shared board-style game. Two people join the same game, move along a shared path, and get questions or small activities as they play. There’s no scoring, no competition, and no pressure. It’s meant to be used alongside a call to make time together feel more intentional without turning it into “relationship work.” It started as something I built ju... My Head Hurts😖3h agoI have researched so much that I have almost just given up. I need real advice here…. Me and my husband want to go on our first all inclusive resort vacation. Roughly somewhere in the mid-late April. We prefer adults only. I would love the “VIP” type experience with the club level suites. We definitely want to be able to relax at times, but also want to enjoy a fun loud pool party too. My husband is also pale… so somewhere with some shade/umbrellas/cabanas that are free or not $400 would be great. \-LOVE Atelier. But I feel like it may be too fancy for us and have zero party feel. \-I was sold on Royalton Chic Cancun until I realized that we are going mid April and I feel like... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
