I've been vegan for 11 years now and have been getting into growing my own vegetables and adapting a homestead lifestyle to the best that I can. I am the only vegan in all of my social groups, and I've been providing education to all of my friends and family on incorporating more vegetables into their lifestyles. i just bought this philodendron “lemon” from a grocery store, it was discounted at $10. i thought it was really great considering how bushy and full it is. however there definitely are some problems- looks like it has been severely overwatered, the soil smells earthy and fishy, has green algae and clovers growing in it. the plastic pot does have drainage holes. i’ve heard it’s best to repot in warmer months but should i repot it now into well-draining soil? i imagine the yellowing/pale leaves are from root rot. or should i leave it alone, let it dry out completely and wait to repot in the spring? let me know your thoughts or if you see any red flags in the photos. i am hanging on...

I was given a $500 gift certificate to use at any of his restaurants and I’m wondering how best to spend it. We like virtually every kind of food so no limitations with that. I’m not against using it for one dinner for the two of us if that makes sense. Or splitting it up. I don’t mind spending for an excellent bottle of wine but I’d like to focus on the food more.

This is my new betta Tuxedo! I got him for 50% off and he had swim bladder issues (I never dealt with that before). I had watched this guy in his cup for like 3 months every time i visited the store. I remember when he was in full color and was healthy. Within hours he had more color but he was stuck floating at the top. What is your opinion on narrators doing different accents or voices for characters in audiobooks? I'm listening to Cixin Liu's 3 Body Problem trilogy via Macmillan audiobooks. The first 2 had newer recordings by the actresses from the Netflix adaptation. I settled on Jess Hong and Rosalind Chao's narrations since I felt they were able to pronounce the names and settings better than the other narrators. My toddler (16 months) recently went to an allergist because he had a moderate reaction to peanut butter when he was 7 months old (it took us a while to get in). We did a blood test and we were surprised to see he had a moderate allergy to cats. He doesn't really have any symptoms other than the occasional sneeze here and there so it really caught us off guard. To my understanding that is on the low end of moderate. Hello! I’ve been at Kroger for a little bit over a year, I recently got a new job and plan to put my 2 weeks notice in tomorrow. Do I need to write a formal letter or just tell my store manager? How should I go about putting my notice in as well? I would say I am on really good terms with my management, and I get along with everyone I work with, I’m just tired of being treated like a ***** by my grocery manager, and have an opportunity at a new company making more money and hopefully a better work environment.

We are not partyers....we like to do some light gambling, we like to eat Chinese food lol, walk around and do people watching...we just love to look at what's going on and maybe visit the mob museum and neon museum. I've heard the hotels directly on Fremont can be very loud and busy. So thoughts on Main Street Station? California? Downtown Grand? seems like they are a little out of the way but still close.
