Thinking VERY LOOSELY about PERHAPS applying to university again. Problem is, I failed once already, and since then, can only think of one professional reference - my volunteers manager at a charity shop. I also considered the hiring manager at the grocery store at which I applied for a job, but I was turned down for that role, so that seems very thin at best. How many references do I need? If more than one (or if more than one helps), could my martial arts instructor be a valid reference? He is in a position to comment on my learning capacity and dedication to self-improvement, and his reference would be supported by any belts I've earned in that class. Is this naive?

Just making this post as I recently did the Gubeikou -> Jinshanling Hike, and I saw plenty of confusion online and on Reddit about this hike and how possible it is from Beijing. Basically it's very straightforward. We did the hike on the 29th December I think. We took the train from BJ to Gubeikou in the afternoon the day before. Ive been collecting since Christmas of 2022, I was in 8th grade at the time. I’ve liked Pokemon for a while and also wanted to collect the cards way before I started but didn’t start collecting until 8th grade for some reason. Basically whats going on is this: My older male cat (9 years old) suddenly started fighting with my 3 other cats and spraying and peeing outside of the litterbox. He has NEVER done this before in the 9 years we've had him, even with another cat that has since passed away. I went NC with my parents around Christmas last year, and beside all the emotions that come with it, it was a huge load off my shoulders. I'm happy with my decision as it is absolutely the right one. However, I live in a small town and my parents live in another small town, a couple of towns over.
