I am looking to add variety to my diet and cook better food at home, so I am looking for a good produce vendor. Even at Whole Foods although the quality is good there is little to choose from that's different from Raley’s or Safeway. For example, strawberries are in season and I can only find one type when there are many varieties available. Same with apples - always the 4 or 5 same types. The other day I was looking to purchase Yukon Gold and Ratte potatoes to make mashed potatoes and none of the stores carried it.
