Hey all! This place has been great for advice, so I wanted to reach out to the collective about something else. My cat is overweight and we’ve been working on it. Sticking to the diet has been easy! But my cat has never adjusted. We’ve been giving her weight loss food for 6 months now, but she is still incredibly hangry at all times. She bites, breaks things, wakes me up at all hours, unplugs my pc, etc. She doesn’t care about toys or affection, just is very vocal and leads us to her feeder. I had hoped she’d get used to the routine and new food amount eventually, but she still hasn’t. Does anybody have recs for ways to help her feel satiated longer?

My tier list for cuisines, as an American economist living in Chicago, is based on countries I’ve travelled to for conferences/leisure. The only cuisines on the list from countries I haven’t visited are Lebanon and Nigeria, though I’ve eaten at plenty of Lebanese/Nigerian restaurants here in the US. I’m also not including places like the US or the UK, where immigration makes the “national cuisine” feel less distinct and more like a blend of many different food traditions. I’m excited to try Indonesian food and explore more European cuisines in the future.
