I'm having trouble finding a suitable travel adapter plug for my Japan trip. If I understood correctly, many sockets in Japan are ungrounded, meaning you'd need a plug with just two parallel pins. Stores here seem only to sell the US Type, with the third grounding pin. I probably could just buy the grounded one and saw off the extra pin, but just to be on the safe side, will I find suitable adapters in Japan or do hotels rent suitable ones? I might check the airport before departure as well.

We’ve been experiencing some unpleasant surprises in our fridge at work. We work in shifts of 10 hours per day, so people bring a couple of meals to work. We can also buy food at work during the day. It happens quite a lot that people forget their food in the fridge and it gets moldy over time. I think this is a reoccurring issue at other companies, so how do you prevent this? Me & bf are going for 4-5 days trip to Digha - Mandarmani. Haven't been there before, so, please suggest bus train routes (starting from howrah), hotels, restaurants, best food places, convenient and scenic spots and whatever would help us make our trip convenient and with less budget.
