Grocery Store Locations

Well that didn't last long. I guess the price per ounce was undercutting all of their newly jacked up prices on everything else. My current go-to meal is just a bunch of crunchy tacos at $1.79 each, adding my own sour cream to them that I bought from the grocery store. Much cheaper than paying for the "supreme" upgrade ($2.99). What are my fellow tightwads buying these days that has actual meat in it (not interested in any "bean and cheese burrito" ****)?

For context, i'm in a competitive sport and i recently started recovery. I am looking for some advice. I am in a house share with 7 other people. We have recently had an Indian lad move in and he cooks multiple times a day (2-3 times) however the food that he cooks is really smelly. If you walk in the kitchen to grab something you leave with the smell on your clothes, the same goes for if they are drying inside. We as a house individually try not to cook more than once a day due to the volume of tennents to try make it as fair for everyone kitchen time wise.
