I'd like to remind all of you lovely people to take a day off. I've been tired, getting close to burn out, and experiencing the end of year/Holiday stress. This job can be so isolating, and it's hard for many of us at this time of year. Today I went grocery shopping, cuddled with the dog and watched a movie, and then saw a friend and had a great time. I feel so much better. So much more rested and now I'm ready for a heavy work week. Days off are self care. Days off allow the mind and body to reset and rest. Please, take a day off if you haven't for awhile. You need it.

I smelled it in the LV store today (I'm from the US), along with the other fragrance in the same LV line, Fleur du Desert- and I thought these two fragrances were the most unique, different, exotic, "from a far away land" scents I have EVER smelled. For context, my bf and I have been in a serious, committed relationship for the past 7 years. We clicked incredibly well and enjoyed each other’s company, then COVID hit and we just got used to being in each other’s presence all the time. It was great. The last few years with the rising prices of groceries ect it has been a struggle, with many I know. Like the title says, I’m blessed to have a home which we decorate inside and out. We have food and our bills are paid, but at the end of the day, that’s it, nothing left at all for gifts. This really hit us the last few years. My kids are grown, but disabled so still live at home.
