So me (18f) & my bsf (f20) were supposed to live together back in June with it now being april 2026. Through that time while our place was being built,she stayed at her bfs which no problem to that. Altho even after that, she continued to stay with him every night. Hi everyone! At the end of January 2026, I took in a cat from a family member who was no longer able to care for him. It all happened very suddenly. He’s become pretty well adjusted so far except that he won’t leave the loft area of the house. I kept him up there exclusively for a few weeks because I also have a large (prey driven, yet extremely friendly and submissive) dog. I slowly introduced them through barriers and now I’m able to let my dog into the loft without incident. Occasionally the dog will get a little too excited, but the cat gives the dog some punches and it’s all good. I got this speckled king snake from a pet store and they said he was a good snake from a well known and reliable breeder. Which i think is very false.
