Looking for a bakery to do fun, custom cakes! We’ve ordered custom cakes from TheCaketeria in Newtown for 10 or 15 years now, this year they dropped the ball and cancelled the order saying they couldn’t execute what we’d discussed and ordered (apparently, they’ve recently been sold). We then ordered a simplified version from Cramer’s in Yardley. They were excited to do it when we ordered it, but when we picked it up today, it was noting like what we’d discussed, sloppy and no better than what you might find at a grocery store bakery. Flying in from the US so can't bring my own knife (and not sure I have one that's considered legal). Wanted to try some cheeses and other British foods while traveling in the UK. Pretty sure a plastic disposal knife will not cut it, literally and figuratively. Is there somewhere in central London where I can buy a nice small folding knife that would work for cutting up cheese, apples, etc? Hello fellow associates. I wanted to ask about overnights as a whole, because my wife and I were thinking about swapping over to overnights (we work closing shift). Both her and I get subjected to stuff that her and I aren't too crazy about. I’m spiraling - one of our 6 year old bengal cats started avoiding his food last week and vomiting, so we brought him to the vet. He seemed great visually to the vet, but they decided to do a blood panel and an x ray which showed elevated white cell count and free floating fluid in his abdomen. I am on a family membership, but don't usually go in, I have a few things I regularly buy online, but I need to spend this on groceries and will be going to the store. I know $50 doesn't get a lot of items at Costco due to the bulk pricing, but they do have some good deals. What do you think are the best deals there? Preferably things you can buy for under $10 so I can get 5-10 things. I know the rotisserie chicken and eggs, I'll get both. I don't want/need raw meat even if you can get it for under $10.
