I’ve (F19) been adhd diagnosed since 2024. I see my psychiatrist every 3 months to review my medication and just check in etc. standard procedure i think. after receiving my diagnosis I got prescribed a low dose of Concerta XL and since beginning it, I violently **** and vomited every morning upon taking it (with food or without) for about month, so naturally, I called and I brought up these side effects to my psychiatrist and she told me to stop taking it. Grabbed an easy order on my way home last night, 7 item 0.2 miles. It was over $80 worth of groceries I spent about 10 minutes at their apartment gate calling through the call box and the app with no answer Called support and after being on hold for another 10 minutes they said the customer wasn’t answering and to just keep everything. I used to serve these two nice elderly women. When I first served them they were hesitant but fell in love with me and requested me every time they came. They are great tippers, and very kind. After I transitioned to bartending most shifts, they unfortunately don't dine with me anymore. However, as soon as they walk in, they find me at the bar and give me so many hugs and kisses. I recently spilled water on my 15 pro which broke the screen, however vibrations and sound was still working. I went to a repair shop where we tested if a new screen would work. We tried it without the screen being attached to the rest of the phone and everything worked as usual (touch, Face ID, cameras, etc.) He told us to give him 10 minutes to apply the screen and that he would call us once all was done. After 15 minutes and no call we return to the shop, with him telling us that the phone went into some sort of loop and was constantly resetting. he said our only option is to try to update it, which we did... which didn't work. I went shopping at the local supermarket in a small village in Poland. As I walked to the car park, my wallet slipped out of my pocket, so I drove home knowing nothing. I realised I didn’t have it and rang the store. They checked CCTV a couple of days later and saw I dropped it and someone came right behind me and took it as I got to my car. So even if I realised it would’ve been too late. I feel conflicted about this 2007 Pulitzer Prize winning book, which I read in a single sitting in one evening. I'm somewhat sympathetic to the critics who found it frustrating, bleak, and depressing. There's not a lot of plot. It gets dark at times, exceedingly and painfully dark. The author has stripped down the punctuation to remove all quotation marks and most references to who is speaking, and this just makes it harder to read, and at times even to identify the person being described.
