Before pushing DB changes across multiple engines, there are a few things I always check now. Most of them only became “process” after breaking something in production once. Script compatibility is the obvious one. SQL that runs perfectly on one engine can still fail somewhere else because of reserved words, implicit conversions, date handling, string concatenation, or tiny syntax differences nobody noticed during review.
