A narrative boxing judge simulator made with Godot and Krita

The Split Decision demo is out both on [Steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3002010/Split_Decision/) and on [Itch](https://quarcgames.itch.io/splitdecision)! (web browser supported) After working on this game for a couple of years, that feels kind of nice to say out loud. This is also our first game done in Godot after a couple of years of working with Un\*ty. This 6-fight demo introduces the core cast, the scoring mechanics, and a first glimpse into the shady world of Brickton boxing. We’ve polished as much as time has permitted us: bug squashing, dialogue cleanup, and fine tuning the art style. It feels like a game we’re proud of. Split Decision takes a fresh angle on the figh...

Castaway Sauce Co - Ball Kicker - OBITUARY REVIEW

3h ago

Here lies Castaway Sauce Co – Ball Kicker - 7.1/10 I first met this sauce at a Publix in Sarasota, Florida. I collected a lot of memories from my vacation in FL, and I’m glad this sauce was an extension of that. I did my best to reminisce on the warm beaches while I had this one. I thought about the snapper po’ boy I had, and trying oysters for the first time. I thought about the Ringling circus museum and getting absolutely drenched that day. I wonder what the TSA thought when they saw me bringing like 9 sauces through the bag check. I am grateful that hot sauce is such an integral part of my life now. Sounds lame, but it’s simple pleasures like this that make up my lame personali...

I’m not sharing a link here because I don't want to spam and this is for personal use, but I wanted to share a workflow I built to solve my own kitchen waste and logging issues. I have ADHD and I was frustrated trying to track my nutrition & exercise AND manage my kitchen items and recipes separately. I’d finish a workout, log it in an app, look at my fridge, have no clue on what to cook, look at random recipes to hit my macros, realise i'm missing some stuff, order food instead, and my groceries go to waste. **So I built a "Chat-First" interface that does both:** **->** If I send a test or a voice note saying "I ate a poached egg with 2 toasts,...

my friend has no concept of money and i can’t stand it

3h ago

basic prompt here before i get into it, would i be the ******* for backing away from a friendship with someone who is wildly financially irresponsible and cannot take advice to save her life? sorry in advance for the long post. so i’m 18, and my friend who is 23 is driving me absolutely insane. she lives off of government assistance/disability because of her weight, which i don’t have a huge problem with, my problem is that she spends her money like she makes 10 times the amount that she does. she had a job she actually used to work where I currently work, but she got fired because she didn’t do anything and wouldn’t listen to anyone about anything relating to her job. she lied abo...

If associates are fixing counts during the lunch rush, you’re paying for errors twice.

Put staff back with customers, not spreadsheets Cleverence gives food & beverage retailers real-time inventory accuracy on the floor, so teams serve guests instead of chasing discrepancies. Guided mobile workflows on Android devices replace manual counts and backroom re-checks. Staff scan barcodes/RFID on cases or singles; batch/expiry and quantities sync instantly to your ERP (NetSuite, D365, SAP, Odoo, QuickBooks, etc.). Discrepancies are flagged on-device with clear prompts - no guesswork. Why it works: - Real-time accuracy with sub-second scans; offline-first for coolers, basements, and dead zones. - ERP-friendly: prebuilt connectors and audit trails protect core systems. - Fa...

Mandy waited around outside the closed door for what felt to her like hours. From the time that it clonked shut against its own metal frame, to the time that Mandy took a breath, realized that Ilse wasn’t peeking her head back out, was mere moments. Still, though, it felt like the sun set and rose again on Mandy’s cheeks as she watched for a while and then, in disappointment, spun about on her heels to walk away. Not so much as a ‘bye’ or a ‘see you later?’ Ilse couldn’t have afforded a single pleasantry to who was perhaps her only real friend? Mandy didn’t want to give herself too much credit, but she was pretty sure a good reason her and Ilse found comfort in their friends...

Don't think I've ever done this before

3h ago

So I kinda want to tell a story about something that happened today. I was commuting back from my home after having visited my family, I was heading to university again. On the way I stopped at the usual train station, and was walking over to my platform when I heard a "Hey" and a mumbling in my direction from my left. I turn around and see the typical "homeless" man with the scruffy beard and the coat sitting next to the wall of the station. By the time I turned around though, he seemed to have lost interest in me and was focusing on something else. He wasn't begging frantically or anything. I was curious and asked him what was up, he explained that he wanted £...

I should be New CEO

3h ago

So, AA has hosed us all. He keeps the doors open by diluting shares. I have a crazy idea. Create new revenue. Put me on as CEO and I'll have this train wreck back on track before you can say Wicked. Here's how you do it. Now I don't have the exact numbers for this, I'm more big picture guy. I'll let some of you genius numbers guys work out the details. But, you raise prices by like five bucks. With that five bucks, each patron gets a small popcorn and a 500 ml bottle of coke. This results in a few things; 1. Everyone enjoys the movies more. 2. Partons feel like they are getting a deal because a small popcorn usually costs 12 dollars. Look, popcorn is b...

Best IPTV Service in 2025: Buffer-Free 4K Streaming, Firestick Setup, and Live Sports

3h ago

If you're like me and you've wasted hours (or weeks) hunting for the **best IPTV service providers in 2025**, you know the struggle is real. Endless promises of "20,000+ channels," "zero buffering," and "4K sports streaming" – but what you get is constant lag during the big game, channels that vanish mid-season, or apps that crash harder than a bad blind date. I've tested over 50 IPTV subscriptions this year alone, from sketchy free trials to premium "verified" ones, and 99% left me raging at my router. But after all that trial and error, I finally found a winner at **zyminex.com**. It's not just another IPTV provider – it'...

Planning to move to Portugal in 12–18 months? Here’s a realistic timeline (from a team who does this every day)

3h ago

Hey everyone, We see a lot of “I want to move to Portugal in 2025/2026, when should I start?” posts. We work with a relocation team that helps people move to Portugal and Spain (and I’m an expat myself). This is the kind of 12–18 month timeline we walk through with clients over and over again. This is NOT legal/tax advice, and timelines vary a LOT by consulate and visa type (D7, D8, D2, etc.). But if you’re non‑EU and planning a “normal” move (not ultra‑last‑minute), this should give you a realistic backbone. Use it as a checklist, then adapt to your situation. **18–12 months before move (early “am I serious?” phase)** Goal: Turn “maybe one day” into a cle...

Should I give her space?

3h ago

M31 F23 Please don't post anything telling me to "leave her alone" or "she's too young" I just want advice on weather or not to give her space or not in a recent string of texts. Meet her at grocery store where she works. Ask for her number, get it. We start texting. We are texting every day multiple times a day for two weeks. On the third week she slowed down a little bit, but she would still initiating conversations. This week, going on a month of us texting eachother, the conversations really slowed down, the last two days we haven't said a word to eachother. But even just two days ago she actually sent me something without me texting first. (I shoul...

The fancy pickles are with the deli meat!

3h ago

I have been really sick the last few weeks and haven’t been able to go to the grocery store, my favorite pickles are Claussen and Grillos, and every single shopper I’ve had over the last month has not been able to find them. This is my official advice to everyone that the fancy pickles are in the refrigerated section near the deli meat and the cheese. All I want is my garlicky pickles lol

When/where do breaks start?

3h ago

I’ve always been working under the impression that our 15 minute breaks begin once we reach the time clock up front or the front doors, depending on if we’re staying in the store during the break. I was told this was to keep things fair considering the traverse time it would take someone in the back, such as the Deli, to reach the front compared to someone working registers, for example. At least 2 minutes or more depending on how busy things were could be expected to be taken just to get to the front of the store and so that time wouldn’t be counted against our break time. Yesterday my department manager (Deli) wanted us to sign off on some notes to help us all get on the same page...

Santa visits my town twice. The second time is for blood.

But on the night of Christmas, Santa stops at Clearview a second time—and it never ends well. Perhaps he has to let off some steam after all that hard work. Or perhaps there is a price to pay for the millions of gifts—and one unlucky resident of my little town has to pay it. Reveling in the joy of the holiday, stuffed with food and often a little drunk, the ...
