Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Grocery Store Latest Community Discussions About Grocery Stores in USNeed some advice regarding homemade peanut butter cups, and chocolate for them.2h agoTL;DR: Midwestern Aldi-goer. Want to know if anyone has tried using the various Aldi chocolate brands (Moser Roth, Choceur, Baker's Corner chocolate chips) as melting chocolate before for candy treats, and if it affected the texture or taste at all to melt it down. Intent is to use them to make and have Aldi quality peanut butter cups, without the steep price tag of the Choceur brand peanut butter cups sold in store. \_\_\_\_\_\_ First, let me preface this by clarifying that I'm a Midwestern US Aldi-goer, since I know that'll affect the potential solutions. To make things clear on what I mean by the title, I've been trying to get better about making things at home, rat... What do you appreciate from Dads of your clients?2h agoHi everyone! I’m a wealthy soon-to-be Dad. We will have a live-in nanny joining us along with the baby’s arrival. My wife and I both grew up very middle class so nanny life will be new for me since I never had one myself. I want to make sure I’m a very present Dad and husband without being overly micromanage-y or annoying to the nanny or my wife. For those of you who live in, what are some things you appreciate from the Dads (or parents generally) in your families that improve your experience and/or make for a better family environment? For my 1 month ish parental leave window, I already plan to just get **** done around the house without needing to be told every little thing like us... Randomly encourtered this2h agoIdk bout you but what she said is wild to me. We don't drink cow's milk to sexualise them and we take them because a cow lactates all the time because they give birth all the time, a woman doesn't. I don't mind if you are vegan but saying vile things is just. Thoughts? Who is this Jesus?2h agoBill Gates famously stated, "DNA is like a computer program but far, far more advanced than any software ever created." This does not happen by accident. Virius have DNA. Single celled organisms have DNA. Multicelled organisms have DNA. Fungi have DNA. Plants have DNA. Animals have DNA. And people have DNA. Crystals don’t have DNA but they can grow in an orderly fashion and be used to make lasers and used to keep time frequencies in clocks, computers and radios. DNA can be repaired in cells and when it does change from its original order it can lead to bad outcomes like cancer and birth defects. DNA required a person of extreme intelligence to make all the different types of ... Questions for warehouse selectors2h agoCorrect me if I'm wrong, but is it true that when your a selector, for let's say pet food, you're taking items from a pallet or bin and adding it to the pallet heading to a specific store as each stores' pallet moves down the central aisle like an assembly line? Let's say there are 750 SKUs on the pet aisle. Is one selector selecting for each of those items or is a selector dedicated to let's say, wet dog food, dry dog food, treats, and small animal while a different selector selects kitty litter, canned cat, dry cat, and pet toys? I imagine each individual item comes from the supplier palletized too, so you have full and/or partial pallets of each item in th... Even moms can use it!2h agoI wanted to love Pokopia but..2h agoI'm the kind of person I want to demolish everything and terraform and design from the ground up. But Pokopia is INCREDIBLY limiting. Constant need to harvest and cook food to break blocks faster kind of time sinks the heck out of you. Magnemite is really not ideal for breaking blocks as it takes a whole animation and moving back and forth where rollout is more efficient. I want to go crazy with palette town and the areas.. But there is no REAL creatuve mode post game. Even cloud islands you have to collect and craft. And theyre VERY limited size so palette town feels more fulfilling to complete. Im 4 days into trying to flatten my Palette town and Im so burnt out I almost never w... new to tulips, wondering if i should plant these in another pot?2h agojust picked these up from my local grocery store for $4.99 each!! i have never grown tulips before and ideally i would want to plant these in the ground, but my soil isn’t adequate for plants right now i’m wondering if i can get a pretty decently sized pot and plant both of these in there. and would the tulips sprout baby tulips over time ? also any other tips and advice is very appreciated as i am new to plant care 😊 new to tulips, wondering if i should plant these in another pot?2h agojust picked these up from my local grocery store for $4.99 each!! i have never grown tulips before and ideally i would want to plant these in the ground, but my soil isn’t adequate for plants right now i’m wondering if i can get a pretty decently sized pot and plant both of these in there. and would the tulips sprout baby tulips over time ? also any other tips and advice is very appreciated as i am new to plant care 😊 Tips to Cope with Depression: A Novice's Guide to Self Help2h agomy apologies for the length! Should my landlord buy me a lawnmower?2h agoI’m renting a house currently with 3 others. The lawn grass (small garden) is getting considerably high. We do not have a lawnmower. Nothing was mentioned in rental agreement about garden maintenance. Can I ask him to buy a lawnmower for us? What is the general consensus here? Also, we do not have anywhere indoor to store the lawnmower over winter. Please and thanks! nihilism/thrill-seeking2h agonot sure how else to title this but here goes. i have a non-terminal sensory disability (i.e. almost total blindness), along with various undiagnosed mental health conditions (shout out having parents that would not accept me needing any other healthcare aside from that stemming from blindness, and even then minimally). despite no mental health support i've been able to achieve markers of success that appease them. i'm on my college's dean's list, i've gotten awards/other similar achievements without studying, etc etc. (i work really hard mostly to compensate for the lack of accommodations) i'm curious if any of y'all deal with the following problem, and h... Met these two on the Dayara Bugyal Trek and they decided to join the trek too2h agoOn my Dayara Bugyal Trek, I met two dogs during the trek — one black and one white. I started calling them Kaalu and Dholu 😄 The funny thing is, I saw them on both of my Dayara treks, almost like they were unofficial guides of the trail. They were super friendly and kept walking with us for long stretches. Just give them a little food and they instantly become your trekking buddies. Honestly, they ended up becoming one of my favorite memories from the trek. I found a gallon of "heavy duty" mayo in my local grocery store dumpster.2h agoDreams really do come true. Paris trip2h agoGot back from a 10day trip to France about a week ago. Went with my best friend from hs. Was my 4th time in Paris, his 1st. Miss it already. Day 1: got into cdg, got to the hotel and crashed lol I cant sleep in economy. Went out for dinner, but otherwise didn't do much. Days 2-4 spent in Strasbourg. Highly recommend, but since this is a Paris subreddit will focus there. Day 4 got back to Paris, checked into hotel and went out. Stayed near the Eiffel tower. Went to Galeries Lafayette Homme and bought a wallet, souvenir, and macrons. Had dinner near the hotel. Day 5 went to the Louvre. Ate lunch overlooking the plaza. Went to Ferdi for dinner. Was fine. Day 6 did a hop on, hop off c... Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
