Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Grocery Store Latest Community Discussions About Grocery Stores in USHands-on lesson: How we taught our LLM agent to mutate a relational DB instead of just generating text (Pitfalls + Code)3h agoMost of us start building agents by feeding them chat history and asking them to decide what happens next. That works for basic toys, but the second you try to build a complex simulation with hundreds of turns, you hit a wall. When I was building the backend loop for Altworld (a stateful, AI-assisted life simulation), we realized conversational memory is a dead end for true persistence. We needed a system where "canonical run state is stored in structured tables and JSON blobs", meaning if an NPC steals your gold on turn 10, that data lives in PostgreSQL, not in a sliding context window. Here is the exact pattern we use to force the LLM to act as a strict database mutation engine... How can I connect with my father in law while living with him?3h ago27m, 27f, and 55m Me and my partner recently got married and we are in between moving house so he moved back in with his dad, I sort of did with him. His dad lives alone and doesn’t really mind us being there as far as I can tell. He keeps to himself and usually will just be sat watching tv when not at work or doing work around the house (he’s knocked half the rooms down and is redoing them). I’ll sometimes bring chocolates or cake back and offer him some but there’s no conversation beyond this. I’m Indian and they’re english, he doesn’t like onion so cooking him something/bringing food back isn’t simple. Any way I can improve this? I want to build a friendly enough bond... StoreFront is now live on iOS! (search ‘StoreFront App’)3h agoHey everyone! Wanted to share some exciting news - StoreFront is officially live and we’re now onboarding brands! 🎉 First, a huge thank you to everyone who pre-signed during development. Your early support genuinely made this happen, and it means so much to us. For anyone new here - StoreFront is basically a dating app, but for fashion. Users swipe on clothes instead of people. Simple as that. (There’s a video pinned on our page if you want to see it in action.) It’s 100% free to use (for both brands and users), and we built it specifically so smaller brands can compete on the same playing field as the big names - there’s no pay-to-win and no black-box AI skewing results. Succe... I am of guyanese heritage and I am travelling Guyana for the first time, advice and recommendations please3h agoMy mum left Guyana as a baby and she’s never been back since. We both want to save up and go (as well as taking my young daughter with us). We still have family in New Amsterdam but travelling with my young daughter we will probably opt to stay in a hotel. We both want this trip to help us feel in touch with our heritage as we grew up in a very white populated area in the UK which has left us feeling abit disconnected from our culture and heritage. So really I’m just asking for any advice or recommendations on things to do that could be culturally enriching. Also any recommendations on safe areas to visits, any tours, restaurants, foods to try etc. I can’t wait to visit I’ve been wan... Can anyone shed any light - 2y 10m old?3h agoVery anxious mum here, completely new to this. I’ll try to lay out all of the concerns and what we know so far. Almost 3yo son has always been delayed in developing gross motor skills. First rolled at 7 months, took weight on his legs at 8 months, sat at almost 9 months, crawled at 12 months, pulled at stand at 14 months, first steps at 18 months, walked well at around 21-22 months. Current concerns at 2y 10m: frequent falls, still walks like a toddler rather than steadily on his feet, can’t run, only just learnt to jump with both feet slightly off the floor in the last week. Fatigues extremely easily, can walk for max 30-45 seconds down the road before crying, begging to be picked up,... Searching for this novel: Rising From Ashes3h agoCurrently searching for this novel. These are the first few chapters, if it helps in finding the link. Chapter One: After receiving the 167th intimate photo of Vivian and Carter together, Serena decided she was done with this marriage. In the corner office of a top family law firm in Manhattan, partner Daniel sat across from Serena with a serious expression. "Ms. Hayes, are you certain you want to request half of Carter Sterling's assets and company shares, and that you're waiving custody of your child?" Serena's hands clenched beneath the table as she forced out two words: "I'm certain." "Alright. We'll gather the ev... Welcome to the free will of the cheese3h agoI am thrilled to welcome you all to the religion of cheese! We believe in the power of cheese to bring people together, to comfort and nourish us, and to delight our senses. For us, cheese is not just a food, but a way of life. In this religion, we worship the many varieties of cheese, from soft and creamy brie to sharp and tangy cheddar. We celebrate the craftsmanship of cheesemakers who turn milk into these delicious, complex flavors. And we share our love of cheese with others, spreading joy and happiness wherever we go. Whether you are a seasoned cheese enthusiast or just discovering the wonders of cheese, you are welcome here. Let us come together in the spirit of cheese and celebrate... A man followed and recorded me when I was 11.3h agoWhen I was 11 (so still a pretty young girl), and my brother was 9, we were wandering a Spirt Halloween looking for parts for his Halloween costume. I asked my mom if we could go to a specific area in the store, she said yes but gave me the regular spiel about “don’t talk to anyone weird, don’t leave the store, don’t go too far, come back to me right after, if someone goes after you then scream and run and fight if you need to, you know where I am, if someone is weird then find me or an employee, you have fake weapons for your costume but use them like real ones if you need to“ and safety things like that. So I’m showing my brother different costumes when an old and dishe... 34/m/EST - Almost Made It3h agoGood morning (or evening wherever you are)! We finally made it through the week! Congrats! Help me make my bulking diet more healthier while keeping it sustainable3h agoHi, Im a 50kg 175cm(110lbs 5'7) male, trying to bulk, living in small shared housing with no kitchen, small fridge, so most of my diet is dry food that requires no cooking. Here are the ingredients I can consistently get and store Soy milk Oat Eggs Cornflake Bread Banana Trail mix Greek yogurt Frozen berries As you can see not much nutrients, I can eat real meal at most once a day when eating out, I'm looking for suggestion on what can I add to my diet to make it more well rounded while still being sustainable(no cooking preferably no fridge) TA-Q-BIN3h agoHey I wanted to know if every convenience store ships Takuhaibin? I am currently in Osaka and we are flying back next week Wednesday from Osaka. When would be the best day to start the shipping? we have 3 luggages, which all fit into the category. I've read into it and we already used this but the Hotel Staff did it for us, now we have no Hotel Staff that could help us with it and now we are a little lost. Does someone have any experience with shipping through a convenience store? Separating from in-laws after 4 years — did I make the right call?3h agoMy husband and I have been living with his parents for 5 years. Overall it's been okay — they help with cooking, childcare, and we have a decent relationship. But space has always been the core issue. I'm an independent working woman and I deeply value having my own home feel like *mine*. The ongoing frustrations: last-minute visits from his siblings (who live nearby) with their kids, no alone time as a couple, no ability to just cook for ourselves or watch TV without it being a shared space. I constantly feel like I'm losing control of my own home. I have hard time raising my frustrations or any type of emotions about anything in front of his parents. His parents are very... In the store, there was absolutely no noise during the spin cycle. They gave us a new unit from the warehouse, and after installation, we noticed a “tak tak tak” knocking sound during the spin cycle. Some people told us that this is not normal and that there might be a problem, so we contacted the service. However, the technician who came said that this is completely normal and that there is no issue. Do you think the technician is misleading us? Is this noise normal? Gems shouldn't have noses3h agoGems shouldn't have a nose! Because it's useless for them. We developped a nose as organic living being, it helps us smell stuff, but why do we smell stuff? To know what we're eating before doing so, to smell if something is rotten especially! You can tell your chicken smells odd before you taste it. You can smell your milk before tasting it too, it's sour, it's spicy. You can even smell alcohol! You can also taste your food, because we don't really have 5 senses, if you pinch your nose when you eat you don't taste much of your food. It helps us cook and get better food, more nutrient food. But gems don't eat! They don't need to, there is no o... Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
