I work at a low-volume pharmacy that does around 75–120 scripts a day. Because of that, corporate only allots us 1 tech and 1 pharmacist most days. Fine, I understand the budget model. But in stores like this, the pharmacist HAS to be willing to function as part of the workflow team, not just sit in verification all day. My staff pharmacist has been with the company for almost 5 years and has even been a PIC before, but it honestly feels like they either don’t care or refuse to learn basic operational tasks.
