Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Grocery Store Latest Community Discussions About Grocery Stores in USi considered breaking up with my partner after feeling like she didn’t care about me, how do i make her feel secure ag...2h agoi’ve (f20) been dating my partner (f22) for two years now, she’s the love of my life and has been my best friend since i was 15. we’re long distance and planning on moving in together this year and eventually getting married. a couple months back i visited her for the first time- this was not our first trip, she typically flies to visit me and has done so a couple times before this one. i was sick with a bad cold and it had been my first time being on a plane (which made my headache and congestion worse), and she had told me that she’d have a can of my favorite soup ready for me when i got to her place. i’d always had food that she liked ready for her whenever we got home from the... Need help with entertainment/toy ideas/recommendations!2h agoHi there! I am a first time cat owner and i’m having some trouble keeping my boy entertained while i’m away and/or in the middle of the night while i’m sleeping and can’t play. He loves when my boyfriend and I play with him. He likes to chase his wand toys and playing fetch with his pom pom’s is by far his favorite, but we can’t play with him all the time. We’re struggling to keep him entertained by himself. He just recently started pulling at our carpet and we think it’s because he’s bored. We live in a smaller apartment so we don’t have a ton of space but we want to try and find some good solutions for when he needs to play on his own. He seems to be picky about the... Doing another stores PCP calls2h agoI work at a tier 2 pharmacy that’s down the road from a tier 5, and my RXM elected us to help with some of their PCP calls. Is this something other stores do? We’ve been doing them for months now and want to end doing it for them because they aren’t even doing ANY of them. Just curious if any other stores have been known to do this at all. Lmk! MUSTARD Allergy? Developing sudden food allergies in mid 30s. Autoimmune or just unlucky? [long]2h agoHey everyone. I am burying the lede a little bit in the post title, and I want to apologize ahead of time and say this is gonna be kind of long. **QUESTION 1: To those who have developed a mustard allergy, did yours start like this or does it sound like something else?** I have been eating mustard my whole life and never experienced it as spicy. Yellow mustard, the kind you put on hotdogs and hamburgers, is laughably weak. The most you could call it is a flavor. Maybe dijon is slightly spicy, but generally beneath notice or comment for me. Within the past 2 weeks, I can't have powdered or yellow mustard without going, "Wow, this is really spicy." I share a household with ... Daily Catholic Devotions - February 23, 20262h ago**February 23, 2026** *St. Polycarp* * **The Paradox of the Poor** >*Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.* **(*****Matthew 25:40)*** *Christianity is a paradoxical religion for a variety of reasons, but one of the most notable might be that it is a religion of the poor. Jesus did not spend much of his time among the rich, the famous or the powerful; instead, he preached salvation to the poor, the lowly and the outcast.* *He asks us to do the same—to reach out to the peripheries (as our late Holy Father, Pope Francis, so often reminded us) and serve those who have nothing to give in return. Any food, grocery stores open?2h agoI ventured out early and everything was closed but Dunkin, and they had no donuts. At least I got a cup of coffee. I'm not even sure Whole Foods on Alewife was opened as the parking lots was empty at 8 am. Starbucks was also closed. So is anything open? I'm starving. Green Transport Helps Build Low-carbon Cities in China. Like other people, she opted for a car as soon as she could afford it. But now, she commutes by bus and walks or bikes to short-distance destinations. "Urban transport has developed so fast in recent years,” she says. “One bus ride will take me directly from home to work. Walking and cycling paths have become smoother. Driving less, I’ve saved money on gas.” China was once known as the "Kingdom of Bicycles”. Today, though, with rapid urbanization and rising incomes, cars reign supreme in cities. In Wuhan, where Yuan lives, the number of motor vehic... Barking on the escalator?2h agoMy service dog is usually very well behaved except for one thing. Her love for escalators. This love has escalated to barking on entry and exit of them. Any ideas on how to curb this behaviour? The only time she barks on duty is using them. I’m open to suggestions. I can use an elevator but they are not always accessible to us Note: I am in Alberta Canada prongs, ecollars and choke chains are regrettably illegal to use on a service dog. As much as I am pro tools I have to abide by the rules. She is food and toy driven Halties, slip leads and Martingales are the tools approved for use Don’t go to Pattaya. Don’t ruin your life as I have done.2h agoBack in the early 2000s there was a community not unlike this subreddit named Global Nanpa. Here's a retelling of one of it's greatest posts: I am 47 years old and in good health. I’m not struggling with a mid-life crisis. Everything is, or was, going well for me. I was satisfied with my life. I was happy and content, or I thought I was. So what the **** happened to me? I have a good job. I was satisfied with it. I have a great wife; we almost never argue. We have two fine children, a boy and a girl, both in college. I make good money with cash in the bank. We have a nice house and a summer place on the beach. Even the pets—two cats and a dog—get along well together. I we... Bisita sa umaga2h agoKwento ko lang. This happened in 2009. My sister and I went to Manila and stayed at my uncle’s condo unit for a month. It was at Legaspi Towers along Roxas Boulevard. My uncle hired a caretaker to check on us once a week for general cleaning and to replenish the groceries. The unit was big, Very maaliwalas and really cozy. It was newly painted and the furniture was brand new. You wouldn’t expect anything strange in a place like that. One morning around 6am, I was still asleep when I heard my sister say, “May kumakatok. Buksan mo.” I just turned to the other side and pretended I didn’t hear anything. In my head I was thinking, “Ikaw ang nakarinig, so ikaw magbukas.” Then I wen... Kitten has apparently been eating litter2h agoRye is almost 7 months old, adopted on Jan 8th. The past couple of weeks he's been regurgitating food within 30 minutes of a meal. We tried slow feeders, different foods, adding more meal times, spacing out portions of food at meal times, etc...Today he had x-rays done and it turns out he's full of cat litter. I've never seen him eat litter so that came as a shock. His lymph nodes and back legs were also slightly swollen. We get additional test results tomorrow. In the meantime, we were told to switch to World's Best Cat Litter since it should hopefully be less harmful than clay litter if he eats some. We also have Prednisolone to administer every day. All of this co... Grocery app2h agoLast week I posted asking for how much do you spend on groceries weekly. And it seems like 6000 people responded. I heard some struggle some being comfortable but still talking about how expensive it became. I am building a cool app… and yes it will be free. Goal is to solve our issues around food. First time kitten any tips2h ago\- a little over 2 months (December 19 birth) \- has been with us since February 15th \- Scottish straight male \- eating both dry and wet \- litter trained He was super playful the first day, he met my whole family (6 of us total) and was a bit nervous at first but quickly started playing. Even met some cousins the first day and played with all. He was staying in my room as our house is pretty big so I set him up in my washroom. He napped a few times beside me and then at night I had to leave him in the washroom as he has the zoomies and I didn’t want him to have too much of my room to run around in. I left him there the second night too. He would cry for a bit then fall asleep. The... When do I get to believe the truth of my own experiences growing up?2h agoAt 44, after years of therapy and deep work I have come to understand that it's likely my parents were both narcissists - father grandiose, mother covert. This has been a profound shock, though I have always known that stuff when I was a kid really wasn't OK. The trouble is - I have had so much gaslighting, minimising and not being met in my distress and the truth of my feelings for so long that I just don't know if what I happened to me correlates with being raised by narcissists. I'm aware this is likely a stage to pass through, but I just don't feel like I can 'own' that if it makes sense? How did others learn to trust their own experiences? This is goi... Post-Surgery Gifts that are actually Helpful2h agoI’ve been hospitalized 4x in the last 18 months for various things (mostly abdominal surgeries, laparoscopic + open surgery). **I want to share what would have been helpful gifts** I wish loved ones had given me, and what was and was not helpful at all. For reference, I’m a woman in my early 30’s, so many of these will be specific to me, however, there are definitely a few that would be great for all genders and ages. # Gifts I received and loved: * Stanley Cup * Fancy coffee & teas # Gifts I received that were NOT helpful: * **Soup**: For what purpose does anyone gift soup?? Especially in the summer?? After abdominal surgery, your loved one might be on a special diet... The Psychology of Staying SHARP: Science-Backed Tricks That Actually Work2h agoI spent the last year diving deep into cognitive science because i was tired of feeling mentally foggy and slow. read countless books, listened to podcasts from neuroscientists, watched youtube lectures from stanford profs. turns out our brains aren't failing us, we're just living in an environment designed to make us dumber. the constant notifications, the doom scrolling, the processed foods, the chronic stress. it's not just you feeling scattered, it's everyone. but here's the good part, neuroscience has cracked the code on how to actually sharpen your mind, and most of it is stupidly simple once you know what to do. **1. your brain needs actual rest, not just min... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
