I bought this insulated picnic basket today at an antique store for a bargin, figuring I could clean it up and put food in it. But I started doing some research on the company that made it and found out that this thing has an asbestos liner covered with hair felt between the metal insert and the basket. I did take a look and the liner is thin but still definitely there. I could not however get a picture of the liner as the the whole basket is screwed together and I don't want to risk disturbing the asbestos.
