Once you have more than one card, it feels like there are a lot of rules to remember- dining vs grocery, online vs in-store, travel quirks, rotating categories, exclusions, etc. In theory it sounds manageable, but at checkout it often comes down to habit or guesswork. Palladium is a $495/annual card while the VX+Savor+Obsidian is effectively a $490/annual card. 4.33x on Dining sounds pretty great and I can continue to use the Savor card on Grocery/Enterainment. Thoughts? This seems like the best possible combination based on the calculator here: https://biltcalc.pages.dev/ For Grocery I use the Amazon Prime Visa for 5% back at Whole Foods. So the Savor would really only be used for Entertainment or when I hit the 75% spend on the Obsidian. What makes this nice is that the small amount of Savor cashback can be converted to VX miles in the C1 portal.
