Mac and Cheese or pie

3h ago

Long shot but I was wondering if someone could send me enough $ to get some boxed mac and cheese from my grocery store. I blew through my budget last night on thanksgiving meats and really like having mac and cheese every year. Or a sweet potato pie. I was admittedly stressed going through the store so I didn't see if they had any yams + shells left.

Job Offers

1. Floater pharmacist for grocery. $60/hr with 8-10% annual bonus based on base salary of $115k. 36 hours a week with the ability to pick up shifts really any time I want (so many of them), after 40 hours a week it’s an extra $20/hr ($80/hr), plus get paid both mileage and hourly wage for travel. Plus the small perks of just being able to grab groceries after work which is nice. Quarterly rewards for groceries like 10% back on store brand items so usually like $100 every 3 months. Can probably make between $140-160k/yr after picking up shifts and bonus, and travel pay. Travel ranges from 10 mins from home to 1 hour from home, but average I’d say is about 25 min drive. (Current gig). 2. ...

Secret Stash

3h ago

Hoping this story brings some holiday cheer and light comedy. Background: new to the community after a few months of lurking and just hit 5 months AF. Quit with the help of a therapist while working through childhood trauma and current problems with parents. Like many alcoholics I had a secret stash of booze. Mine was in the garage where I had a routine built around keeping a jug of whisky in a cabinet (could just barely tolerate it lukewarm) and another jug of vodka stuffed in the back of the outside freezer. At my peak I was hitting the liquor store every 2 weeks to resupply. Being the principal meal preparer in our household, going out to "grab something from the freezer" was ...

AITAH for hanging out with my step-aunt while she was here on holidays and my girlfriend went apes**t at me? (Bad title ...

3h ago

A couple months ago my step aunt (my step mums brothers wife, not sure what to call her) She came here to help mind my two younger siblings, one is 2 and the other is a new born. She came here for a holiday and to help my dad and step mum out with the kids so she was mostly stuck at my dad’s house due to baby sitting and trying to help them out. As I am the oldest and I drive, my dad would ask me to take her to some places like the city or to a parade that took place during Halloween to give her a break from baby sitting and to let her have somewhat of a holiday as it was her first time here. My girlfriend at the time was a bit sceptical of the whole thing because she didn’t like the...

Introducing CCCC: A Lightweight Orchestrator that transforms your existing CLI agents into a autonomous production team.

3h ago

Hello [r/LocalLLaMA](https://www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA/), I'm the developer behind **CCCC** Multi-Agent Orchestrator([GitHub - ChesterRa/cccc](https://www.google.com/url?sa=E&q=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2FChesterRa%2Fcccc)). I’ve been running complex automation tasks for a while, and the biggest frustration wasn't the LLM capabilities—it was the **infrastructure** surrounding them. We get amazing code from Agents, but we’re forced to play the role of the tedious "babysitter," typing *"Please continue"* *"Please review""Please fix it"* every few minutes, or watching our Peers drift off-topic during long sessions. My go...

Grocery points

3h ago

I am looking into the BCP for the 6% grocery points. I do a significant amount of grocery shopping at my local food coop. The merchant category code is Natural Organic Market (5499) not Groceries and Supermarket (5411). Does anyone know if Amex will recognize this as grocery to code for grocery points? Google says some cards do and don’t, but can’t find info on AMEX specifically.

How do I deal with a cat that most likely going to be put down soon?

3h ago

So today I found out my oldest cat who turns 17 in febuary will likely have to be put down. He has arthritis, fluid in his lungs and something with his heart that they are unsure about. He’s in so much pain and I feel terrible because in July I got a kitten who desperately wants to play with him and it’s driving him away. He’s an indoor/outdoor cat but has always favored being outdoors even in winter. Recently he’s been looking for warm places and staying inside if the kitten isn’t being too much of a nuisance which is hard because the kitten is orange. I had a crying fit last week because when I let him out I noticed how skinny his hips had suddenly gotten. I take the kitten for c...

When we first got together we both were going to the gym, I weighed 170 and she weighed like 170 ish both of us in decent shape, since then she has gained 80 pounds... we used to eat healthy eating out every now and then, but now she eats nothing but junk food all day and calls it snacks and when dinner comes around she will eat 5 bites and be done and then 5 minutes later she's eating peanut butter m&Ms and when asked about it she says it's desert.... I tried countless times to address it and honestly it's to the point Everytime she eats junk food I get disgusted, she will literally but a family share bag of m&Ms and kill the whole bag in one sitting eat have ...

I just want to go home

3h ago

Nearing the end of my study abroad period, I'm in a country where I have family and support. I started having panic attacks in July before I came - with no rhyme or reason. I was having up to 3 a day - just literally couldn't function. The stress did my stomach in and I developed gastritis. I've been eating the same 5 foods since August. I was somewhat functional for August/September OCD wise until I found a cockroach in my apartment. I started to deteriorate mentally and having mental breakdowns everyday. Late October I moved to my aunt's house and started to improve both physically and mentally. That was until last week when I had to stay a night at the apartm...

Is it just pregnancy hormones?

3h ago

I (23F) am 33 weeks pregnant and living with my husband’s family, including my MIL, who I absolutely cannot stand. The resentment and anger I feel toward her is visceral. I **** being around her, hearing her voice, even thinking about her. The stress of living with her has been eating me alive for months. I feel rage when I think of her. She is so intrusive, so overbearing and so entitled. She cannot see past her own wants and needs. Everything exploded when I posted on my WhatsApp story that I don’t want anyone to touch my belly. This is something she will not stop doing no matter how many times I ask. Whenever I express I don’t like something or my husband tells her, she gets so ...

Supermarket tips for a visitor/Consigli sui supermercati per un visitatore

3h ago

Hello! My partner and I are visiting Rome from India on vacation (my first time in Italy!!) at the end of December (yes, in the middle of NYE chaos - it's the only time we get off work). We have a ritual of going to a supermarket in whatever place we're visiting and buying groceries as souvenirs. I was wondering: 1. Do supermarkets operate with the usual hours on 30th December? 2. If you moved to another country, what's one thing from a Roman supermarket that you would definitely take with you? So far I have all the usual suspects on the list - chocolate, cheese and pasta (and eating a pizza bianca if we can find it). Other (or even more specific recs within these cate...

Pre-Covid Remote Work?

Anyhone here start their own company working remotley before it was a seriouos job option? Now it's a valid employment choice, you can even request it if it's viable for your position assuming your not a mechanic or McDonald's employee. But since most of work with computer's and I have worked with computer's, so have most of my family. They started their own Software companies, including my Girlfriend. Her Father cannot only SpeedRun the Original Blizzard: Diablo video Game as a Barbarian.
