GROCERY STORE Locations

Yesterday my husband (58M) and I (50F) were out and about doing some errand running. We went to the home improvement store with big orange signs, and when we went to pay, we noticed they had changed ALL of the checkout stands to self pay. The only non self pay is an area that's more for contractors. I am not a fan of self checkout (SC) and avoid it when we go to grocery stores, unless getting 3 things or less. Why?Many reasons. I am especially lwss fond of the ones with scales that still have issues with "unexpected item in bagging area" and that nonsense, though many stores have removed the scales. PART ONE. Out of all the places I've went to over the years, this has to be one of the strangest. It always feels like the people here always know something you don't, even if the knowledge is foolish. I’m a FTM to a spirited 14 month old who crawls like a champ but isn’t interested in crawling. Summer was great- we spent our days at parks but now it’s dreary winter in the PNW and I’m bored! I don’t know what to do with my toddler. We spend our days at home playing with her toys and do an almost daily outing to the grocery store to get out of the house. There are some kids places but they are so expensive (and every time we go I feel like she gets sick..) any suggestions on what else to do? I want her to be able to move her body and also I’m so bored being home all day every day.

Does anyone have suggestions for organizing large collections of games and finding specific games easily? I have 300-400 games, most of which are played monthly. I host a public event which sees people grabbing games to play and while they’re respectful about putting the boxes away correctly, they don’t keep them in the same location of the table they picked them up from, and I don’t really expect this to change nor am I worried about it. We store them in 10 totes and 3 bags, but are in the process of redoing the organization and replacing some totes/bags with larger ones. My Dec. 2025 salary and expenses as a 30 yo male, single. I’ve been budgeting for 7 years using Excel. I have a couple medical appointments at UVM that are about 4 hours apart next month. I won’t be able to walk or stand much after the first one, and I live far away. I’ll get lunch and probably hobble around the grocery store, but I’ll still have a couple hours to kill. Any suggestions where I can just sit for a couple hours?
