So I've been having an ongoing problem with Giant Food Store and their app lately. For some reason the past two times I've used this for pickup, it's charged both my credit card and EBT. I called the customer service line and told me that the first charge would be reversed in 7-10 days. Not that I was happy with this but okay can't do much about it. I informed her I needed to purchase groceries again and already had my cart filled on the app but didn't want to confirm the purchase until this whole thing was figured out. Warning. This was my second time in a hand full of months that I went to get salmon from this specific Giant foods. Yesterday I got a small cut salmon filet took it home, cleaned and prepared it to cook and then the next morning (today) I woke up sick.. throwing up and number 2 likely food poisoning. I’m starting to think that they’re putting cross contaminated meat out to sell or just plain expired meat. It’s disgusting, I’m gonna stick to the Amish Market H-Mart or possibly Trader Joe’s for any further selections of meat, grocery stores are flat out unsanitary.
