I was quoted $2300 to $2800 to install an outlet in the crawlspace. The contract says 15-20 amp dedicated with up to 75 ft access. I don’t need all of that…I just need a new outlet installed in the crawlspace for a sump pump. The electrician didn’t even go into the crawlspace to check. I don’t know much about electrical, but does the price seem excessive or reasonable? I was thinking $500 to $1000 max according to what was quoted in the crawlspace contract.
