Hey so I'm a little confused. My store ambassador told me months ago that if I ever wanted to join the union I'd have to pay an initialization fee, then once I'm in, it'll deduct some fees per paycheck to stay in the union. Today I came home from my shift (I'm a cashier) and got a letter welcoming me to local 1262.. but I didn't pay? Should I be concerned or just leave it alone? Are they going to start deducting some money from my paycheck? Every dollar counts to me and I sure did not pay any initialization fee or made it apparent that I wanted to join. Would have my employer did this by chance?

So my family and I will be in Branson for a week in June and we have a season pass for Silver Dollar City and we were excited to see that there will be a food festival during our time there .. we planned on 2 maybe 3 day trips at the park.... If we get tasting tickets, do they have to be used on that one day or can we use it on multiple days?

We are researching our first hot tub and there is only one place to buy from in these rural Virginia mountains, but they have a good reputation and service ratings. They sell Nordic, Marquis and Wellis. I’m leaning towards Nordic because of the ease I’ve read about on this forum but also I haven’t read anything about Marquis or Wellis. This is the second time family members have lost fairly expensive water bottles at a WDW park. Both times we realized within a couple of hours but after we had exited the park. Both of us knew exactly where we left them, too. My question is, other than a phone or a credit card, has anyone actually ever had an item returned after making the online report? I'm sure there must be hundreds of items found on park property each day - does anything ever get reconnected with the owner?
