Working on a CLI tool that diffs code at the entity level (functions, classes, structs) instead of raw lines. Line-level diffs are optimized for human eyes scanning a terminal. But when you feed a git diff to an Claude, most of those tokens are context lines, hunk headers, and unchanged code. The model has to figure out what actually changed from the noise. I ran some attention score analysis and the signal increases significantly when you feed semantic diffs instead of git diffs. The model spends less time parsing structure and more time reasoning about the actual change. Today my mom and I went to the hardware store to buy a product that cost less than 4 dollars. When we cashed out, our change was supposed to be less than 2 dollars but the cashier gave less than 4 dollars. In the market for a new wallet, I loved this design, it's very sleek but gives you room to store a more than 2-3 cards (which is what I've found a lot of slim/sleek wallets limit you to. We moved here semi-recently, and have a few cherry plum trees along the sidewalk that have had a tendency to drop large branches despite regular pruning and arborist checks.
