Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Dollar Tree Latest Community Discussions About Dollar TreeHaving curly hair is so tedious and annoying39m agoIt has to be soaking wet to do anything to it. You can’t even brush it if it’s dry or it’ll look like a rats nest. You need to buy extra products that end up costing more than straight hair products. Like for example you can’t use a regular hair dryer you need a hair dryer with a defuser on it too. Plus wash day takes forever. With straight hair you can literally wash and condition it with dollar tree products, brush it, dry it and you’re good to go. They can just wake up brush their hair and leave. No routine needed. Campfire Jokes42m ago"This is still ****," says George. He holds up the stack of note-cards, squints at them through the flicker of the firelight. "I mean, it's *real* ****." Our campfire has started to burn low in the gathering dark, and the embers swirl up and away in a sudden gust of autumn wind. I shiver, and I pause the video I'm recording to pick up another log. "It's okay, George." I flash him a smile. "I mean, we just want the money, right? We don't morally censure." Carol starts to smile a bit at that, too, but Kayden presses his lips together and she stops. "Sure," says Kayden. "Sure. I mean, *I* think it's... Deer Watch (Parts one and two)45m agoAuthor's Note: I hope you enjoy the start of my story! It starts slow, but it definitely starts to pick up in part two. There is body horror, but I would consider it very tame for right now. Please leave a comment if you notice any mistakes or want to make suggestions! Please enjoy! Part One The worst question I was ever asked was, ‘Are you okay?’ It is such a simple question, yet it never has a simple answer. The mental toll of trying to figure out if these people were just being polite, or if, for once, they genuinely cared for the answer. I imagined the latter in the long hours where the darkness bites and the fatigue stung. The idea of genuine human kindness was one I had... How I Learned to Stop Drowning Lucky Bamboo and Love Passive Hydro46m agoI have a *Dracaena sanderiana* problem. Some people have a general plant addiction, some people are alcoholics, and I can't stop buying and propagating lucky bamboo specifically. I have almost a hundred of them now, and I plan to propagate them until I run out of space. Why? I don't really know. I'm autistic, and looking at them makes me feel so good that I just... need more of them. Always. Well, I have been keeping them using the "pebbles in water" method. It's exactly as simple as it sounds. I have been using candle holders and cut soda bottles with dollar store pebbles. While this does keep them alive, as I have learned more about botany and plant care, I ... Christmas Values50m agoChristmas tends to sweep in quickly each year. One day the season feels far off, and the next day stores are filled with gift bags and leftover wrapping paper that somehow never matches the size of the actual gifts. But beneath all the hustle, the best parts of Christmas usually aren’t the busy or flashy ones. The season carries a kind of joy that isn’t tied to what sits under the tree. As Pastor Jeff often says, the real joy of Christmas isn’t wrapped in paper but in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger — a reminder that hope doesn’t arrive in a box. Generosity also seems to rise to the surface this time of year. People bake for neighbors, check in on friends, offer a listening ... January Lease Takeover - $3000/ month - Huge, Quiet Studio with Brick Charm52m agoLease takeover for a spacious 600 sq ft studio in a brownstone on a quiet, tree-lined street in Boerum Hill. I’ve lived here for 3.5 years and am only moving because I’m moving in with my boyfriend — otherwise I’d absolutely stay. Lease ends on June 30th, 2026 and start date ideally would be from mid-late January but am flexible. ⭐ Highlights • Very spacious studio, it's the size of a 1BR • Exposed brick + fireplace = classic NYC charm • Prime location near Atlantic Barclays train station (tons of trains) • Just a block away from 5th Ave with a lot of bars and restaurants • New, large grocery store (FoodGarden Market) on the same block and 15... Amazon Delivery Delays53m agoI am so tired of Amazon. I am not mad at the drivers or a warehouse workers, I am mildly infatuated that the company knows they aren’t going to get these packages to me in time but instead they keep giving me bullshit delivery times and then push it back days later. I am aware that it is the holiday season, 1st they should adjust their timeframe accordingly they are also aware it is the holiday season and should have a system that can account for this(after all they spend billions of dollars a year to stalk customer, why can’t they stalk their own numbers), 2nd this has been an issue all year. It is not like I even like I live in the middle of nowhere. On top of that I pay from prime, ... Thrift store situation53m agoThere is a local church run thrift store near me. I use this store over the chain type thrift stores because it seems more local and more about helping the community. This place has a dumpster around the corner that they use as they go through all the donations. Occasionally I will donate things and then around the corner I will throw items I deem not good enough into the dumpster. The other day I donated many bags of toys, boys and girls clothes, and clothes my wife no longer needed. I had our old artificial Xmas tree in the back of my truck. This tree was kinda rough on its own, over the years we would buy lights with the garland and fix it up and fill in the spots that needed fluffing. ... A tiny act of kindness from a stranger that still makes my whole week57m agoA few months ago I had one of those really nothing special days, the kind that just feels like grey mush from the moment you wake up. Work was boring, my emails were annoying, my phone battery died right when I needed my train ticket app, all the fun stuff. By the time I left the office it was raining that very particular kind of rain that is not heavy enough for an umbrella but somehow still manages to soak your jeans. I decided to stop by a small grocery store on the way home to grab something easy for dinner and a treat, because if capitalism has taught me anything it is that sugar can fix at least 5 percent of my problems. Inside the store it was warm but weirdly crowded, the line to the... Best DT Locations57m agoHi all! I am on the search for the XL Dollar Tree locations!! I am located in Northern Kentucky. I am open to Ohio and Indiana locations as well… So far, the biggest one that I have seen is the Sharonville Ohio one. They had so many brands and items that I did not even realize existed! Please help a girl out!! Do certain patterns and colors make you actually gag?58m agoOkay. This is my first time posting on Reddit in this community but I am a pregnant for the first time and I'm currently 8+3. I've got a weird one for you. I just started experiencing nausea right before I hit 7 weeks, and it's continued through today. The usual stuff like certain foods and smells make me so queasy. Oddly enough, water is something I cannot tolerate at the moment. But here's the thing... my NUMBER ONE thing that makes me gag or run to the sink almost immediately is a certain type of color or pattern!! To be embarrassingly specific, it's anything "Christmas-y" and "cute" especially if it's pink or has depictions of cute anima... After years-long fight with neighbors, DoorDash moves its KC convenience store1h agoDashMart, a DoorDash-owned convenience store, moved its Kansas City location last month amid a years-long fight with neighbors and a legal battle with the city. The 24-hour delivery only concept moved to the Manheim Park neighborhood on the intersection of Troost Avenue and Brush Creek Boulevard. Now drivers go to the former Dollar Tree building at 4601 Troost to pick up orders to bring to customers. The DoorDash website says the DashMart locations stock “fresh groceries, household essentials, and more.” The DashMart was previously located in the Longfellow neighborhood. In late 2024, a city inspector issued two city code violations that threatened to displace the Longfellow operation.... On walnut someone put flyers up about this one guy who would follow women into different stores on Walnut St. I've seen him the past few days at Coffee Tree and walking down Ivy Street. Wearing the same blue street with polkadots. Felt it was worth mentioning. Quick Hits: A Handful of Games I Played This Year (Hong Kong massacre/ little nightmares/last of us/dead space)1h agoHello and Welcome everyone back to another episode of Quick hits where i discuss between 4-5 games that i played and give you some quick reviews. These games either weren't particularly long or didnt have enough for me to talk about to warrant thier own video so they ended up on this list. This doesn't mean they were bad of course just not super deep. But just like any other review we'll going over the story, gameplay and performance on the steam deck before giving the game a rating out of 10 so lets begin. 1. The Hong Kong Massacre The game is a retelling of a single night in hong kong that is about a formers cop revenge quest to avenge the death of his partner by taking d... Grandma's House1h agoGrandma's House Chapter 1 When I was a kid, I only needed three things to guarantee a great day. Video games were at the top of the list. With a pocket full of quarters I'd spend the whole Saturday at the arcade. Jaime and I would be up at dawn wading through cigarette smoke to stand in line until the doors opened. My eyes stayed focused on high scores with Jaime pestering me by tugging my sleeve to beg for a turn right as I was about to beat a level. It drove me up the wall, though eventually I would give in, handing him some quarters before buying $1 nachos. The second was hunting with Dad. We walked through the trees spotting deer and rabbits darting about. Dad taught us ho...
