Almost done with the main build of this little 72nd kit - a better kit than I expected for a hasegawa B range model. Brush painted with tamiya XF-16 and proacryl white, with other tamiya paints used for the missiles. Started on post shading after a topcoat of pearlescent tamiya clear from a rattle can. I bought that pearlecent paint completely by accident but it’s been growing on me for high-vis and scale-accurate gloss finishes, as it doesn’t have the overly shiny and toy-like finish of full gloss or the sometimes too matte options. Hi guys! I found this little cutie at a thrift store and nearly cried. I've been trying to expand into the chinese style of tea making but do NOT have the spare 100's of dollars to drop. I paid a whopping 6 dollars for this. My hope is that it can get a lot of use brewing some delicious black teas, but I'm curious about origin and value too! A great practical application for this was to create huge, editable terrains with complex shading, millions of objects, tens of thousands of animated characters and localized whether that continuously propagates throughout the map. As a result, I've created a "game" that allows you to sculpt all of 9 million underlying square grid points of a huge map, distribute trees, buildings, roads, fences, herds, etc. on it and set a set of climate parameters (surface water, groundwater, temperature, wind speed, erosion) for each of 160 thousand hexes in an underly...
