I just started working at DollarTree as a stocker. At my store we get 1 pallet each for drinks, food/pantry items, and one for chips/candy/snacks. I get scheduled for 5 hour shifts and my manager said I'm supposed to do the entire drink pallet one day and the entire food/pantry pallet the next day. I did like half the drink pallet my first day and then like 60% of the food/pallet the second day. Then I came in on a third day and finished what was left of both, but my manager implied that he wants me to do 1 whole pallet per 5 hour shift once I've gotten used to things. Hey y’all, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these and I’ve tried so many new products in the last month, I just had to share my thoughts! Fair warning, this is going to be very long! To start, I’m 40 with normal skin that leans dry, I’m not really treating any serious issues with my skin, I basically just want to be hydrated and look good. About 1 month ago I stopped all skincare except for facial cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and few select products because I’m working on healing my skin barrier. I bought a large bin from the dollar tree and used a soldering iron to poke a bunch of ventilation holes. Used reptisoil for dirt and added springtails that are thriving, they keep the bin clean and quickly take care of any crickets that may have died. I added some egg crate for hides, pet safe moss to help retain some moisture and so it's easy for crickets to drink without drowning. Instead of getting those feeder cubes they sell at the store, I give them kale, carrots, and romaine instead along with occasional cucumbers, celery, and sometimes some fruit. I reviewed my spending for 2025 and was so shocked at how much I spent and how many times I visited DT!!! I swore to do better this year and was successful up until last month. One of the biggest hurdles I have is I work in transportation so I’m on the road all day and I have access to so many locations. Like many others, the low cost of items makes them way too accessible too. I am noticing I’m running out of room for my purchases and starting to hide them from my husband and kids (“You went to Dollar Tree AGAIN?!”) I went to 3-4 stores yesterday and even drove outside of the county I was working in today to visit another one. I attempted to buy a Liquid Death Water and Skinny pop bag of popcorn and was charged food tax at the local dollar tree. in Pa, candy and soda is charged food tax but water and snacks are not. I am wondering if perhaps the water was incorrectly marked as soda in the inventory for tax purposes. I filed a complaint and would like to know if this has happened to anyone else? I’m fairly upset due to the mileage I had to walk and time spent in the store just to be short tax money and having to walk many a mile back home empty handed.

I had an issue where it said that I hadn't worked Dollar Tree, but I never worked it. Apparently it was just an issue with their system, so I reapplied again on March 15th. Because previously I had left a note from the manager there with my name and my email and all that because I thought I had my identity stolen, which I gave it cuz I didn't have to use my social security number on work day, but now she's most likely seen it because the assistant manager has seen it because I talked to him. I've seen some despicable companies in my day but dollar tree tops them all , my wife has worked for dollar tree in Spokane for 5 years ,promised at least 21 hours a week part time ,the only time she ever received that many was Christmas , now shes lucky to see 8 hours per week ! Know why ? Hello all! We just got back from a Europe holiday and picked up some amazing port wines. Appreciate any recommendations for where we can get nice port wine glasses (and good stemware in general), preferably in SFV. Total Wine is on our radar, but wanted to see if folks here had recommendations for other stores with good-to-high quality stemware (for context, we’ve been making it work with surprisingly good wine glasses from Dollar Tree for years now, but we’d like to start expanding our collection). Hi folks, now that Jacks and East Village Cheese are both gone, where is the supply of discount Camembert and Brie being redirected? I liked to purchase these cheeses for $1 or $2. There must be a supply somewhere and ESCO on TooGoodtoGo offers quantities that are far too large. I've been to LotLess but none of the branches seem to have a fridge. Are there any known discount stores that have a fridge? I also used to buy fake cheese at Jack's, such as Daiya, which can be just as good as the real one. Dollar Tree in the Bronx has a fridge but they usually only carry their standard issue products since they're a chain. What are your thoughts on this matter? Where can I go for ...

According to Oxnard Development Website, a new grocery store is being planned for the plaza next to Dollar Tree; there hasn’t been much movement unfortunately on the site itself. Any updated or inside scoop? Plaza has been super busy lately which is great to see. I have had various outcomes with DT nail polish but none that great. Can anyone comment on how durable the BPure nail wraps are? Ease of use? I do a lot of typing all day so press ons are not for me because I need to keep my nails pretty short.
