Looking for a chick crumble that is soy and corn free but I also don't want the protein to be substituted with fish meal . Since I haven't been able to find one , I was thinking of making my own feed and grinding it into crumble. This bag looks like the ingredients I would put in my own feed but I was advised I couldn't turn this to feed . Why not ? Why can't this be used as a primary feed if I mix it with more mealworm and split peas for more protein. I also would add Fertrell for nutrients and a herbal mix . Maybe even dehydrated eggs or scramble too.
