Dollar Tree 9x7 Cutting Mat Repair Station

6h ago

I haven't been modeling things for too long but this is the first sort of generic thing I've done, the other stuff is specific to one hobby so I wasn't sure where to post this but I guess here is good? IDK anyway, I made this organizer around a cutting mat I found at the dollar store and figured somebody else might want the same thing. Opinions on this garlic?

7h ago

Anyone used this product from Dollar Tree before? I usually chop fresh or use the Great Value minced in water, but decided to pick this up while I was in store getting a few skin care items. Plan on using it for a slow cooker meal tomorrow. Is it good?

Visit to the Kendale Lakes (Miami) "Kmart" location

7h ago

I took a drive down to the Miami area yesterday specifically to visit the "Kmart" location in Kendale Lakes, which is southwest of Miami. I used the quote marks because, well lets face it, this is not a regular Kmart location as we remember them. This is the last remaining location in the continental US, although there are full-line stores on Guam in the Pacific Ocean and on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. I had to make a pilgrimage there as I used to work for the company during its hey-day as a mid-level exec and spent a good number of years there during the good times. Anyway, I digress. The first thing you notice is that, as I said, this is not a full-line store. Instead, Kma...

Shopping

12h ago

I know others have noticed the change in the shopping habits, but it’s pretty DRASTIC and veryyyyy telling about his current financial state and how much $$ he’s actually had to have lost from losing all of his followers. Once he was into the old apartment he was pretty much DONE going to discount stores like Walmart, Ross, Hobby Lobby, Homegoods/Tjmaxx trips had definitely lessened, and he definitely wasn’t stepping foot inside of a FiveBelow or dollar tree when he was in the old place. It’s like the second he moved into this new “luxury complex” he was back to shopping at the same old places he can afford. I was waiting to see if he was going to make his friends watch him purch...

Always learning...

1d ago

I've been working at Dollar tree for 7ish months now and it's pretty chill, but I swear every other day I learn something I should be doing or know that was not explained anywhere?? Like I didn't know cashiers HAVE to be doing stocking? I was told the other day you were expected to get through 25 cases per shift and had no idea (I usually do recovery/other things because I prefer those) \-Still learning random hacks for the balloons (like cutting the string makes them float better sometimes) \-Our store does cashapp and you can do it both with scanning and the physical card, only 2 managers know how to do it both ways though \-Associates should not be answering the ph...

(Wanted to make a post that was a big "cleaner"/put together....adhd is wild today) Sometimes you cant bring your practice with you, figured I should share some low budget altar stuff if your like me and extremely broke lol (I have an edc bag switching from a cross body or fanny/bum bag to give you an idea about space/size) \*\* Candles from Dollar tree, discount stores (ollies, bargain hunt, even goodwill) or Ikea (got a huge pack discounted) \*\* Sage can be separated, you dont have to burn a huge bundle, you just need the smoke. break off a few pieces and It'll last you WAY longer, or go gather things that are free in nature for cleansing (i have a pine tree outside, ...

Don't forget Hygiene!!!

1d ago

We often discuss numerous options for food and water storage but little thought to post-event hygiene. When modern infrastructure fails, hygiene issues generally collapse into these five categories: Waterborne Diseases: Dysentery, Cholera, and Typhoid (caused by fecal contamination of drinking water). Skin Infections: Staph (MRSA), fungal growth (athlete’s foot), and infected minor wounds leading to sepsis. Parasitic Infestations: Body lice, scabies, and intestinal worms from contaminated soil or close quarters. Oral Decay: Severe tooth abscesses and gum disease which can cause systemic infections. Vector-Borne Illnesses: Diseases spread by pests (rats/flies) thriving on unmana...

What is going on with RIP-IT energy drink?!?!?!?!

1d ago

This is what it costs to have a 12-pack of Rip-It sent to your house directly from the manufacturer. Dollar Tree doesn't have any of the POWER flavor in stock. Yes, it can be ordered from [www.dollartree.com](http://www.dollartree.com), however, shipping to the store for FREE PICKUP is unavailable. $12 to have a case delivered to your home in 7-10 days. https://preview.redd.it/pyoz7z8hjrxg1.png?width=619&format=png&auto=webp&s=56d401fad2879d5bdbd2e0282d16e2b28a168333

All the stores that have Hot Wheels so far

1d ago

I saw the cost at Vons was 2/$3. And since I bought only one, it cost $1.79. I assume that they haven't updated the cost yet. Bookoff was a place that has used items to buy. They do have a lot of uncommon cars in there and cost a lot. I would update more places soon for prices. Fyi, these prices were mainlines and were obtained around my area only, specifically in CA. The prices will be different in various states/areas.

Penny Shopper at Dollar Tree Thinks She Hit the Jackpot for Stubbed Toe

1d ago

This is why cashiers **** couponers and penny shoppers. She posted a follow up video leaving the emergency room. She really things she did a big one here. Do stores actually end up settling these frivolous claims or ghost her?

First time sewing (with grandma's sewing machine)

1d ago

I just want to share my story with some people who might appreciate it and some pictures of what I made. I have wanted to learn to sew for a long time but never did. I do crochet a lot (which I learned fromy grandma) and I do other crafts like cross stitch. Before my grandma passed away I kept wanting to ask her to teach me but never did because when I was maybe 13 years old I remember sitting down and trying to use my Grandma's sewing machine and had no idea what I was doing. It made a bunch of noise and stopped working and she scolded me for breaking her machine when she was in the middle of an impossible project that she needed to finish that week. I basically never tried again a...

Small haul

I'm new to dollar tree beauty. I had bought things here and there in the past but I did not realize how much they've stepped up their game! Im trying to be mindful of how much i spend on beauty products in general. Because at the black and white store and the big orange store **** starts adding up fast! The dollar tree I went to today was very well stocked , the whole store neat and clean so they must have a good management team. Ive read on some of the posts that some dollar trees are not very good :(

AITAH for making my best friend cry at her birthday dinner?

2d ago

Hi, this is my first time posting on this sub but I’ve frequently read on here for a few years. I really don’t know what to do and am okay being the AH, I just need an outside perspective. Sorry if it’s too long, all this stuff has kind of accumulated throughout our friendship so I didn’t know how much to include. My best friend (21) and I (20) have been friends since we were freshman in high school, so it's been seven years. I’ll call her Ava. About two days ago we met up to celebrate her birthday, I had gotten into a really bad fight with my mom in the morning about money (this has to do with the story I think)  and was considering not going because I was so upset, but ...

Is the $ Tree still worth it?

2d ago

Years ago, I shopped the Dollar Tree quite a bit. Over the past 5 to 10 years, not only have their prices gone up, but IMO quality and quantity of many of their items have gone down. Things that used to cost me less there - I can often find a better deal at other stores, like Walmart. Especially food items. (You really want $1.25 for a can of off-brand green beans, corn or tuna I can buy at Walmart for under a buck?) And the number of items on the shelves that are above their base price keeps increasing. Like... I didn't go to the Dollar Tree to buy a gallon of milk or a Halloween decoration for $4.99. Some items at mine are as high as $7.99. What do you think are still the best deals...

Has anyone had luck recently with Dollar Tree cases?

2d ago

I’m new to the hobby kinda and with Cashback offers can get 72 car cases for $75 basically at Dollar Tree online. I’ve read conflicting things about open cases but my 2 locks store managers said open cases would have to be done at store and not factory and they guaranteed they would never allow that

No more Crafter's Square scrapbook stickers?

2d ago

I don't see these stickers anymore. They used to be at all the stores. (They're the Crafter's Square pop-up stickers...) Did the Dollar Tree remove them or are they coming back? 😢

Notebook insert storage solution

Dollar Tree had these little wooden crates for $5 USD. I have many more filled inserts to store in them.
