Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Dollar Tree Latest Community Discussions About Dollar TreeMy DT was stocked!6h agoIm very new, only been lurking for like a day, but between reddit and Google, i was convinced i needed to try some of what Dollar Tree has to offer. I knew today was truck day for my store, so i went shortly after they opened this morning.. Y'all omg, I was so blown away by how much stuff my store had! They seemed to only be out of a few things and it was well organized. Sorry I didn't get pictures of all their makeup because they had a ton of new stuff over there too, but y'all, look at how much power serum they had!! I finally got it! I got a lip stain too just to give it a try. I'm soo excited to go back later this week and pick up some more stuff! The skin care gods h... Thoughts on expanding the comic market17h agoI was having this discussion at my LCBS today, and here’s some things I think can help increase the wider market — Mainly, reduce the cost of comics by bringing back the cheaper paper, 3rd party advertising, and newsstand sales. This, as a second order affect, will increase the cost of comics later down the line, as if less of them last because reading them has a higher chance of damaging them, and thereby people are more encouraged to roll them up and put them in their back pocket. Treat every comic like it’s someone’s first. I just read FF 381 and I, within the first few pages, knew exactly what was going on, who the relationships were with, and the wider story, without having re... Ive Made A Mistake17h agoSo i finally built my first combat patrol (i got emperors children😁) and started priming it the other day. After priming it, the models looked a bit off. They looked less detail-y, like the primer had stripped them of some details and gave it some chonk. ****, some of the models even felt a little rough on the edges. But I thought nothing of it, so I went ahead and painted it (i had a slight bit of experience with painting because I bought the little starter kit with the paint set, ultramarines, and tyranids). As i started to paint these minis, I realized the paint just looks horrible on it. I didnt really know what to do to remove the paint and start over. So I looked up how to do it a... Anyone else really enjoy Rip its? I understand that they got a cult following in the military, but I’m not even a vete...20h agoI had to go to three separate Dollar Trees to get the ones pictured in multiple copies. That specific dollar store chain is the only way I can get these for some reason. Of these, I’m torn between both Tribute flavors (Cherry Lime and Mandarin Lime) as the best. These are very “early” energy drink for me, as though the National Beverage Corp never bothered to change either the recipe or the marketing since 2004. Honestly, that’s probably not far off from the truth. Makes these budget blasters all the more special to me. Dollar tree haul1d agoMy local dollar tree has been coming in clutch recently. Loving these watermelon/grape flavor. Also enjoying Bucked cotton candy, and bang sour strips! They also have a bunch of monster zero ultra and Reign! Any good pickups at your local discount dollar store?! Friend Gifted Her Used Makeup1d agoSo last December around Christmas naturally me and my best girl friend meet up to do gift exchange. I got my friend a lot of thoughtful gifts that aligned with her personality and everything she likes like color I know she loves the color, pink and likes all things coquette I even picked out fragrances, knowing what she likes, and I spent a lot of time picking out gift bags and drawing art on the cards where her name goes on the two and from spot because I wanted it to be extra cute and special I even got her boyfriend a gift because she had kept asking me what my fiancé wants for Christmas so I figured we where getting each others partner something nice aswell. She ended up getting my part... Why do my film scans ****1d agoI cant tell if its my scanner or if it is my film solution, I use a canon eos 7d for scanning with a 90mm tamron macro lens, my film solution is stored is cheap plastic bottles from dollar tree and I cant tell why the photos ****, everyone else's photos look way sharper than mine, I know its not my film camera because ive shot on so many with a ton of different glass. I use filmlab on my desktop for converting my scans into positives as well Big Essie haul 🤭1d agoBefore we dive in, I'm going to ask 3 things of y'all. 1, don't take more than you'll actually use. If you aren't going to use it or give it to a friend, please leave it for someone else. 2, Try to keep the aisle clean. Employees can be petty about cleaning/fixing the aisles, and they might outright lie about having an item in stock to simply avoid having to clean misplaced and unorganized items to put out the new stock. So to keep from missing out, please leave the beauty aisle the same or better than how you found it. 3, I'm going to ask you to gatekeep in lowercase. Call your besties to go check their store. But for the love of God, don't post this to In... Would this be a good starter fountain pen?1d agoI’ve been thinking about getting this one but I would like to know if it would be worth it to get this one or the typical recommended ones like the pilot kakuno or the platinum preppy or the twsbi eco? Edit 1: I was not expecting of the amount of comments that I’ve gotten and as far as I could tell from the pen in the image, it was a complete hit or miss for some people Let me preface this by saying that I’m not really wanting to get too expensive of a pen. I feel like $40 would be the absolute max I would go for and that’s if if it came with its own ink. Like I don’t want it to be too fancy. I just simply want to get the job done properly because the only thing that I actually g... fun perk to being frugal MOST of the time!1d agoso aside from survival and the fact that I am not working anymore & am 8 months pregnant, I found a nice benefit to being frugal MOST of the time - that I can have mindless spending at a few places some of the time. I don’t have to really look at price tags at Trader Joe’s or dollar tree and can pretty much grab whatever I want at those places. I also can enjoy my shopping I do every now and then more often, or trips to the British store in my town for fun British chips and snacks and such with less guilt. AIO for stating that i carry the majority of the mental load ?1d agoin my relationship it seems that my bf of seven years never remebers much of anything. yes hes forgotten my birthday and holidays but that’s not where the mental load is the worse. I give explicit explanations (ex: We are going to the pet store, then dollar tree, and then to the restaurant across the street, using names ofc) he will ask again several times and i will make sure it’s clear. but then suddenly he’ll turn to go to the restaurant first despite me explaining the restaurant has to be last bc the pet store closes soon and i don’t want my drink to melt. this is just an example but it happens this way a lot. i’ll adamantly reexplain only to be told he doesn’t get it. i’m ... Looking for local dollar store/retail managers willing to partner to facilitate unpaid work experience for my students w...2d agoHi everyone! I’m a teacher working with students with intellectual disabilities in Cincinnati, and I’m looking for a local dollar store manager or owner who might be interested in partnering with our program to provide real-world job experience opportunities for our students. Our students can complete tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, cleaning, front facing products, breaking down boxes, and other entry-level store tasks. Students would be fully supported by a job coach/staff member the entire time, so there would be no added training burden on store employees. Our program is also fully insured. This would be an unpaid job experience opportunity focused on help... DT & e.l.f. Comparisons2d agoSummer is here so I cut all my hair off and my skunk stripe is getting prominent! I decided to do as close to a like-for-like comparison as I could so some of the Dollar Tree products may not be what I’d normally choose. I’ll review them in order of use. PRIMER e.l.f. Putty Primer b pure Essentially Ageless blur face primer I’d say they both worked pretty well but giving a slight edge to e.l.f. for a smoother application. FOUNDATION e.l.f. Halo Filter in Shade 3 Light Medium Prolux matte foundation in Natural Both applied about the same with similar coverage. CONCEALER e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer in Light Peach b pure Essentially Ageless hydrating serum con...
