I decided that the long weekend was a good weekend to do this comparison. I just got into the puzzling hobby recently, so my experience with some stuff is limited. I'm learning brand quirks and stuff, but I'm pretty easy to please, so I also do a lot of cheap puzzles in-between finding nicer ones. The Family Dollar and Dollar Tree stores near me only ever have 2 or sometimes 3 employees at most working the same shift. Sometimes their shifts may overlap, or you may see 4 people instead of 3, but usually they are packing out. When it gets busy the store can easily get bad and employees will quickly become overwhelmed. Even customers in my area have exclaimed how bad it can be with how few people they put in those stores. I've also heard of many stores in the district that are poorly maintained. Unorganized shelves, floors not properly cleaned, and management overall not being that great. Background: Fayetteville has had a contract with Flock's license plate readers since 2020. (I didn't know this until one of y'all pointed it out on my last post, so thanks.) That contract is up for renewal, and the city will be discussing their agreement with Flock during an open work session next Thursday, June 4 at city hall. So. A while ago, I saw a post about someone saying this was good. I hadn't seen a swatch, and nobody else was really talking about this specific shade... Soooo I tried it. Went into the store a few times over the last couple of weeks, and wanted to buy it but was hesitant every single time. Until I finally bit the bullet and decided to just test it so everyone else can see. The lipstick looked very red, but I have such a bad experience with dollar tree reds always being pink instead. The lipgloss is true to the packaging however. I honestly don't really like this one but the curiosity was killing me.

Found this sub on Thursday and by yesterday I was clearing out my local DT store. I haven’t bought any skincare stuff in a long time because everything is just so expensive right now, and for some reason I never really trusted dollar tree skincare, not really even sure why? I just wanted to thank you all for influencing me in a positive way. I’m starting up a skincare routine again and it feels so nice 🥹

they were stocked up, i was surprised! i bought 4 in case i never see them again (probably will give some to family and friends), i can’t wait to try it and see what the hype is about EDIT: i absolutely understand the hype. one of the best, if not the best lip product i have ever tried, and you can’t complain for the price! it is super hydrating and long lasting (LIKE I MEAN HOURRRSS), i didn’t find myself reapplying every hour like how i would with summer fridays🙊. the scent reminds me of cherry cough syrup, which isn’t my favourite scent but i don’t smell it while it’s on my lips so i don’t mind. i will definitely be grabbing more if there’s any left at my store!

I did pretty good today at Dollar tree. the one thing that I was very surprised that they had was the hair coloring kit! $1.25. I took a picture of what is included in the kit and I was blown away! I've taken to coloring my hair again because the price is too high. in my neck of the woods it costs me $120 without the tip to do my roots and a trim. 120 bucks is going to give me groceries. I'm not spending that on hair dye. so when I saw this kit I was absolutely excited. I had been looking for the smaller version of that little snow white toy for months, I saw a version of it that was just the doll/carriage and thought it was so cute and only $3! I ended up finding this bigger version that comes with the castle for $7, the store I was at also had the small carriage one and I was tempted to get it and keep it as a gift for someone else later, just cause they're so cute! Im gonna hunt for the Cinderella and Sleeping beauty ones.. Also, this was last minute I decided I did want to get her a little something for the day of her kinder graduation..she JUST had a birthday and is very spoiled..

Any workers or customers who can shed some light on this, would be appreciated! What happened to the 100-count boxes of green tea? Is it no longer or is this a temporary supply chain issue? I love this tea, and it is (was?) such a great deal. Have not seen any in-store or online in months. 😞

To anyone who I ever even remotely thought negatively about for not being willing to do a Dollar Tree delivery I apologize. I took a $12 for 3 mile delivery for 12 items from there today and it took 2 GAHDAMN HOURS because there was basically nothing on the shelves, it was all in carts at least two aisles from where it was supposed to be. If they can't be bothered to have the store be functional then it shouldn't be open let alone able to be on doordash. Sweet ******* **** never again
