One example I like are socks. If you go to a dollar store and grab a pair of socks, you’ll realize that the seam is placed in the wrong spot and makes the sock almost unwearable. The seam being in the right spot wouldn’t cost them more money. It wouldn’t cost them more time. Yet the cheapest socks almost always have it wrong so it feels like your toes are in the wrong spot. If this was different, there’d be less need to buy expensive socks. Is there another simpler explanation for stuff like this that I’m missing?

Found at dollar tree for $7 I got a size medium and it fits pretty well. It's a little awkward since it is for pets there's the opening in the back haha but it looks fine otherwise when she's seated. Recently got this cutie secondhand locally NWT! Still can't decide on a name for her. So I'd love some suggestions.
