My first post back here was removed (mods, I edited the political part of that post by the way), but I've been going between days one and zero (with a day two in there) these last couple weeks. I don't want another day zero, I just want to see that number start getting bigger, one day at a time. My partner and I are both struggling. So for context I work at a dollar general, I had a 8am shift to 4pm and got a thirty minute break. I was tired and we were swamped. I ended up telling my ASM I was taking my break and I sat down in the office we have up front that everyone takes breaks in. First off, I don’t want to get political. What people choose to spend their food stamps on doesn’t affect me. I’m actually just curious bc all I hear about is people complaining about not being able to buy pop and sugary snacks or I see all these tik toks of ebt grocery hauls where it’s all frozen pizza chips and pop. I wanna jumpstart prepping & freezing puree foods. Would 4oz-6oz plastic freezer containers be good or would breastmilk storage bags to store & freeze homemade puree foods? I’m in the US so if any recs on either one or a better idea. I’m not interested in glass unless it’s in the same price range $30+/- a few dollars.
