Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Dollar General Latest Community Discussions About Dollar GeneralIs giving all my orks shootas a viable strategy?3h agoI’m currently waiting for the next edition before I buy any Ork units or codexes outside KT, and I’m aware this is liable to change. So I was wondering given that the stereotype for Orks is to get in close and start chopping, I was wondering how generally affective it is to just make all my boys rifleman, rather than close combat units. My general idea atm is rather than charge in, they’re part of a warband that loves their shootas above all, so rather than charge in, they just start shooting, literally raining bullets down on their target. Also there’s a Tau player at my local store that everyone just rushes to gum up his long range rifleman (idk Tau units, no **** just not my... Our marketplace photos were appearing sideways for 23% of users and it took me 3 weeks to realize iPhone users weren...3h ago**I genuinely thought our sellers were incompetent.** We run a small peer-to-peer marketplace (built it with my roommate, hit $8K MRR last month) and our App Store reviews tanked to 2.1 stars every third review said the same thing: "photos are always sideways" or "images upside down, looks unprofessional" I blamed the users I wrote passive-aggressive tooltip copy like "Please upload photos in the correct orientation" and I know I'm an *****. When I saw the numbers they were brutal 41% of our uploaded photos came from iPhones of those 23% displayed rotated incorrectly on our site like sideways, upside-down buyers assumed sellers didn't care our convers... Neighborhoods/Help scoping out Durham!3h agoHey folks! My partner and I are hoping to move from Philly to Durham this summer, and we’re visiting shortly to scope things out, check out a few neighborhoods, and generally get a sense of the vibe! Super excited. Open to any recommendations for activities and places to check out, but neighborhoods in particular would be helpful. I’ve made a list below of some things we like— if any of it makes you think of a spot we’ve got to check out, just say the word and we’ll be there! Thanks!! **Things we like in a neighborhood (though none are dealbreakers)** \- Walkability! Currently we’re within an hour walk of downtown, and we’ve got a little sandwich shop, a bakery, and a groc... Sample bottles for long-term storage (or: I think I messed up...?)3h agoWhat kinds of things do I need to be wary of / look out for when purchasing 1-2oz sample bottles? About a year ago, I ordered a 48 count of 1oz french square glass bottles from Amazon, and I began filling 2 or 3 of these up as I got near the end of a bottle, so that I had a little bit of that bottle to go back to if I wanted to compare it to something else at a later date (either a new batch of the same bottle, or a different single barrel, or another whiskey of the same general category, etc.). I recently pulled a couple of these out for the first time, only to find that the whiskey inside all seems to have taken on an EXTREMELY foul smell and flavor. So I fear I somehow managed to buy t... When you find you carpolganger at the dollar store you gotta pick it up4h agoWas pretty surprised to stumble upon this at the dollar store. 1/36 model of an FJ. Thoughts?4h agoI sometimes will go ahead & run these in lockdown. Y'all think this is good or is it too much? 😂👀 Tax pros here dealing with International client?4h agoI have a Venezuelan client, a non-resident alien living in Venezuela, who owns a U.S. LLC. The LLC buys products through Amazon FBA in the U.S. and sells them to customers in Venezuela. The client claims that because the products “never touch” the U.S. he doesn’t warehouse or store inventory here and exports everything to Venezuela ,he is not subject to U.S. federal income tax. He also asserts that, as a non U.S. resident, the income isn’t taxable in the U.S. My understanding based on IRS rules on U.S. trade (USTB) and Effectively Connected Income (ECI) is that his income may still be ECI if the U.S. LLC’s activities are sufficiently commercial (e.g., sourcing from U.S. supplier... AITAH for not telling my fiancee that the necklace I gave her for our anniversary isnt real gold4h agoMy fiancee and I have been together about four years. For our third anniversary last year I wanted to get her something really special. She had been dropping hints for months about this specific style of gold chain necklace. The kind she wanted was like 14k gold and the ones I was looking at were running anywhere from 800 to over a thousand dollars. I had just finished paying off a chunk of debt and I was finally in a decent spot financially but not spend a thousand dollars on jewelry spot. So I found a gold vermeil version of almost the exact same style. For anyone who doesnt know gold vermeil is basically sterling silver with a thick layer of real gold over it. It looks identical. You gen... Az Renaissance Festival4h agoOur second trip to the Az Ren Fair this season on Valentine's Day. The fair was pretty crowded but not chaotically so. Just a lot of people enjoying themselves. We laughed because before we left we decided to err on the side of caution and took a few hundred dollars in cash just in case. Neither one of us were really looking for anything to buy and we generally don't eat a ton anymore. Then we spent most of it. I got a new ear cuff and she got a ring and this hat. So many people were not just dressed up but dressed up really well. From really simple to extravagant....but amazing. And we received several compliments on our dress which always makes you feel good. A few peop... New Music for y'all! Fresh tunes from Monrroe, Gifta, Zero T, Amoss, Unglued and more! What Basic Symptoms and Treatment A Man Can Follow If he is Anemic or Detects Anemia ?4h agoMost people think anemia is a "woman's issue." And yeah, it's more common in women due to menstruation and pregnancy. But men get it too, and when we do, it's often a wake-up call that something else is going on. If you're a guy reading this because you've been feeling off and suspect anemia, or maybe you already got the diagnosis and aren't sure what to do next, let's talk about this honestly. # First, Why This Matters for Men Here's the thing doctors don't always say upfront anemia in men is never "normal." In women, mild anemia can sometimes be explained by heavy periods. In men, low hemoglobin is a red flag that demands... 9 Cleaning Business Ideas to Start in 2026 and More4h agoIf you’re planning to start a cleaning business in 2026, this article walks through 9 different cleaning business ideas, from classic models like residential and commercial cleaning to more specialized and trending opportunities like Airbnb turnover services and eco-friendly cleaning. Is anyone else deeply concerned about the direction our city and province is headed?4h agoFirst it was the push to have all unionized provincial staff forced back to work in the office. An obvious ploy to get people to quit/retire so the government can downsize and isn't on the hook for severance, etc. Next came the post from Sam Austin with all the suggestions for cuts to save money. And, without rehashing too much, what in the sweet actual **** was that list? Go **** yourself anyone who relies on transit, doesn't have a car, works late or on Sundays, lower income people in general, etc. Then our provincial government being like "eh, we have no money, gotta make cuts everywhere." Oh yeah? What about this: > The province's auditor general has sa... 5 Legit Survey Apps that pay you to answer Surveys on your Phone4h agoIf you carry a smartphone, you already have access to one of the **simplest side hustles** available today: **paid online surveys**. Market research companies are constantly looking for consumer opinions, and instead of hosting focus groups in expensive facilities, they now pay everyday users to answer questions directly from their phones. The barrier to entry is extremely low, no special skills, no investment, and no complicated setup required. That said, not every survey app is worth your time. Some offer consistent payouts and transparent systems, while others frustrate users with constant disqualifications, high cash-out thresholds, or poor support. Earnings are modest, typically pocket... Client won't pay me or answer me, but I still have his property, can I keep it?4h agoLocation: Costa Rica I used to work for a small business (only full time workers were the boss and a woman that I think it's his assistant but I'm not sure) , it was just an internship. During the internship my boss learned that I am good at painting, so he commissioned me to paint 3 real sized anatomically correct torsos he had, we agreed that he would pay me the equivalent of 300 dollars per model because he wanted them to be extremely realistic and detailed. He wanted me to give him the finished 3 models at the same time and pay me after, but I convinced him to give only him one at a time (mostly because I was afraid he wouldn't pay me if I gave everything at once). Well,... FHA vs Conventional on new build4h agoHello. We are first time homebuyers and are looking at placing an offer on a $340,000 home. We plan on putting 10% down, possibly going up to 14% depending on how the offered concessions come through. We had our lender price out our options. It is a new build and in order to get the nice advertised builder interest rates we would have to go with an FHA loan. We priced out both conventional and FHA. FHA: 4.99%/5.557%APR, $2380 monthly payment, $126/mo PMI Conv: 5.99%/6.31%APR, $2517 monthly payment, $99/mo PMI My rough amortization calculation says that it would take us 77 payments on the conventional to get to 20% equity, whereas FHA has the standard 120 payments. This would mean the tot... What defines an IETM Level 4 compared to Level 3?4h ago**IETM Level 4** is more advanced and interactive than **Level 3**. * **Level 3** is a structured, hyperlinked digital manual. It organizes content into chapters and sections with search and navigation features, but it remains document based. * **Level 4** is fully database driven. Content is stored as reusable data modules and dynamically generated based on user role, equipment configuration, or task. It supports interactive fault isolation, multimedia, and integration with maintenance or logistics systems. **In brief:** Level 3 = Hyperlinked digital manual Level 4 = Intelligent, interactive, database driven system Disclaimer: This answer is for educational purposes. The description ... Koh Rong Sanloem - tips, tricks, information4h agoI keep reading wrong and incomplete information about this beautiful island. So here's something I put together which tells you everything from my own personal experience. We live 10 minutes from the Expressway so its now a very easy journey for us and we have been going twice a year on average since the pandemic. We have just booked for our next 2 nights at Saracen Bay for the week of Khmer New Year. Prices are a little higher that week. My comments will focus mainly on Saracen as that is where we normally stay. Some tips: 1. Getting there - private taxi/car will cost between $70 - $90 from Phnom Penh. Ensure they are going to go via the Expressway which is 45m to an hour from PP c... I have several questions, open to learning and correction4h agoHello. It's a bit of a wall of text so I apologize in advance. I have only an introductory level understanding of various tax systems and am in the process of learning still. I find an outlet in non-mainstream circles like this where questions of economic fairness are confined to fiscal proposals rather than involving market intervention or state production. I lean fiscally progressive, and at the same time have a negative opinion of the bloated and paternalistic welfare state. I notice even Milton Friedman thought positively (or as the 'least bad' out of alternatives) of a combination of NIT and LVT to replace traditional welfare "despite" his reputation as a &quo... Backrooms 24h agoHey, I finally got around to writing a sequel to my first Backrooms book, and I wanted to share the first chapter here. It’s not fully polished yet, but what do you think?: Chapter 0: Lars \~ The Bill Lars dropped, exhausted, into the old armchair in front of his TV. Friday night. Finally this week was over. He did like his job as an analyst, but that did not make it any less tiring. His head was throbbing, and he did not want to think about anything anymore. Just switch off. He picked up the remote, pressed the power button, and, almost absentmindedly, flipped through the channels. A dating show was on, trying hard to pass itself off as reality TV. The next channel was airing some k... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
