Their careers have been kind of scarily similar up to this point, with Luck playing from 2012 - 2018, playing in 86 games and missing 26 (10 + all of the 2017 season) and playing his last game at age 29. Burrow has played from 2020 - now, playing in 77 games and missing 22 due to injury, and turned 29 last December. Injuries played a major role in Luck’s career, taking 187 sacks behind some bad O-Lines, but Burrow... Code Vein Review *Spoilers*15m agoAfter about 30 hours, I’ve completed Code Vein about as much as you can without NG+, which I’m comfortable with. I’m not the biggest fan of Soulslikes normally, but something about this game really worked for me, and I really enjoyed my time with it. Let’s get into it! # Gameplay In this section, I'll be covering the combat system, equipment system, Blood Code system, and some miscellaneous thoughts. **Combat System** The Good: * This game has relatively standard Soulslike core combat: you have a light and heavy attack with your weapons, you can dodge, block, and parry incoming attacks, you have a stamina meter to manage. It all flows pretty well and feels satisfying to use... Good 2 Day 1 Night Backpacking Trip in VA or Surrounding Area?30m agoHi all! New to Reddit, and I was told this would be a good spot to ask this question. I have done tons of car camping and a lot of day hiking, so now the next step is backpacking! Given my life circumstances, I will be going at it alone, so I wanted to do just a one night trip to get my bearings about me. I am very nervous about figuring out how to know where to sleep and how to store food and all that jazz, so wanted a small trip to get my feet wet. I am around the DMV area, but I am okay to travel wherever in the general area, im okay with MD, WV, and PA as well. Let me have your best suggestions, AND your best tips :) First hw purchase36m agoAlways like to see everyones hauls but always held off on buying / trying to find hotwheels because the competition is pretty hot where I live. Last night I was at one of the dollar generals in town, went to look at the hotwheels , ofc nun but Garbo. Few isles over as I’m browsing I see a hotwheel on the top of the shelf, as I’m pulling that one down I felt more up there. Odd enough , I found the yellow Ferrari I was looking for and a few other cool ones. So I just bought em. 😂 Does it Really Matter if We Buy Local?36m agoConsumers are faced with decisions to purchase goods and services from national chains or locally owned businesses every day. Cost, convenience, and variety often inform us in these decisions. And while we have heard of the intangible benefits of buying local, how do we quantify the specific economic benefits to our communities when we decide to keep our money close to home? When we buy local, our money stays local, and it strengthens the local economy in two ways. First, buying local keeps money circulating within the local economy. Studies have shown that local businesses recirculate a greater share of every dollar as they create locally owned supply chains and invest in their employees. ... Worth the trip...👍36m agoShort read: I got $126 for this fairly adventurous delivery! Long read: I didnt get a pic of the offer. But it was listed at $56 and some change for 49mi. 1 shop 40items (easy items and 1 case of water) As you can see it was very far from my location... Normally I wouldn't take those especially in the afternoon , in winter a day after a bad snow storm. There were other 40+ 50+ offers much closer but they were multi shops. I pretty much had my choice of shops due to the roads freshly cleared, but since it snowed, many shoppers werent out. Also many shops had been pushed back from the last 2 days. Because my Hyrbrid bad just gotten a tune up for winter...I felt like taking a trip. Plus... Exchange Rate Help37m agoAnyone currently in Thailand happen to know what the exchange rate is at local street exchange rate shops? I remember in my last visit I saw many exchange stores walking around in Patong and Bangkok. Im wondering if its better to take dollars and exchange them there vs buying them at my bank ahead of time. I noticed the rate the bank is giving me vs what the rate the internet says it today's rate is lower. 3 baht/dollar doesn't seem like a lot but between my friend and I we will probably exchange $2-3k, so $9k baht just wasted like that is not nothing. Solar inverter, aluminum to copper transition.48m agoI installed solar and I'm finishing up the wiring indoors. Its off grid with grid backup. I'll spare a ton of details, but I'll add more if anyone wants it. I need to run a ~50ft 100amp circuit from my main panel to the inverter. I'll be adding more inverters in the future, so this is going to get expensive with copper. Is it acceptable to to run 1awg aluminum SER to a 100 amp disconnect, then a couple feet of 3awg thwn in conduit between the disconnect and inverter? The disconnect and inverter lugs are rated 75c. This is all done inside, in the basement. The inverter is not rated for aluminum wire. If i have to upsize the wire, thats fine, but what I really want to kn... Bought into UK energy infrastructure 3 months ago, here is why.55m agoBeing from the UK, it’s no secret we pay France, Belgium and Nederland the most for electricity. This electricity is often 14 hours a day per contracted purchase which often we see our wind turbines stalled due to no request off the grid. I see that we are under achieving by over 50% on the demands of electricity demanded by our grid. It’s been heavily imposed as a mandatory net zero policy by 2030/5 to have outweighed clean energy over emission based energy and by 2050 100% clean energy. i don’t buy that. Our government had expressed interest of industrial sized power banks across the uk to store unused energy for peak/demands meaning a window of “self sustained” energy to be st... January 20th Update - Partial Shipping Orders, $130 Store Credit, and More.55m agoHello everyone, I wanted to share a clear update on what’s been happening behind the scenes, as some of you may receive emails regarding store credit, order swaps, or partial shipments. I’ve personally stepped in to fully understand the situation and make sure we’re resolving it. To be transparent, several issues overlapped at the same time, which caused a combination of delays and confusion. Below is a straightforward breakdown of what happened and how we’re fixing it. # What we’re doing now (important updates first) **$130 store credit for affected orders** Instead of shipping the complimentary items, affected customers will receive **$130 in store credit,** which exceeds t... Firearm Laws by US State55m agoLots of new eyes on the sub, for good or ill. Hello. In ["The Condition of the Working Class in England in 1844"](https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/download/pdf/condition-working-class-england.pdf) Friedrich Engels wrote: >*The working-man knows too well, has learned from too oft-repeated experience, that the law is a rod which the bourgeois has prepared for him; and when he is not compelled to do so, he never appeals to the law.* I will expand on that to say If you find yourself in a situation where you are compelled to appeal to the law, then it is your duty that if you take the rod into you own hands, that you understand the law. If you are thinking about pu... MOMENTUM True Wireless 4: my experience (and complaints) after a few weeks1h agoHello, everyone! For those of you that want to be spared of a lengthy wall of text, I bring you the TL;DR version: earbuds are fine, but not great. My main complaints are with sound signature / frequency response and comfort. Which leave me rather dissatisfied with the product rather than satisfied. However, this doesn't make the product necessarily bad... since both of these are subjective. What sounds bad and feels uncomfortable to me may sound great to you and have a perfect fit. So while I can't really fault them for these things, I still get to say my opinion (and the justification of it). I also think the case is rather bulky, and somewhat difficult to pocket in jeans. And t... Anyone Still Finding the OG Cans at Dollar Tree?1h agoI haven’t been to a store in a few months and my stock is getting low. Has anyone recently found OGs at Dollar Tree? The Astromundi Cluster: 101 Asteroids of the Inner Ring1h ago"This heavily populated asteroid belt is the heart of the Astromundi Cluster. Antilan outposts spiral upward next to squat City-Starts, illithid embassies and dwarven mining barracks sit side by side. Virtually every race is represented here in some form, and trade is fast and furious. By universal agreement, war is banned from the Inner Ring. The penalty for breaking the ban would be disastrous, as every other race would turn on the offender." \- The Astrogator's Guide, page 19. This vast asteroid ring takes up two tracks thick on the Planetary Display Chart. It would take a Spelljammer ship two to three days just to pass through it. The following are some examples (only a... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
