Hi everyone, I operate a small store where we sell small items and only make a few cents to dollars off but it adds up. I had items up for say, 2 dollars and 5 shipping before, and buyers would combine many, and buy 30-50 at a time making it worth it. The issue is the 5 dollar flat fee did not work over time as the postage has been raised. Should I add more money to the flat fee and remove from the cost of item? Not sure what to do

Mostly because I part of the opening crew and on these holidays I lose out on hours due to the store not open at the usual time of 4AM. This year they didn't open the store until 7AM. So there goes 3 hours. And the owners only paid 2 extra dollars for working on the holiday. Cheap *** bastards. Thanksgiving was weird as **** hours at my store this year. Open at 7 AM. Close at 2PM. Why open at all?
