I watched the deep-dive on FSx for Lustre (I'll call fsx from now on) and came away with the idea that fsx is really used in a sporadic manner based on need. However, isn't this usage pattern slow? If I'm working with say 2TB of image data stored in S3, the data would need to be copied and unzipped to the filesystem which would take a lot of time if done for every training job. Hi, I've recently worked at Menards. As a former hardware store employee (whose name I will not mention), I can personally tell you that Menards is a terrible place to work; not only are their systems outdated, but they are a terrible company with a greedy owner, and their management is most likely terrible at any store you will apply to. Payroll is not terrible at first, although you only receive 10-cent wage increases, but their attendance system is also terrible. Their systems seem to be from the 90s, I mean, even a computer BIOS from 2005 looks more modern than the usual Menards app/tool. So my doctor recently recommended I start using a walker. I wanna buy one soon, but i’m contemplating what to buy. I have POTS and EDS, and i’m 280ish lbs 5’8! I’ve found that using a shopping cart while at the store gives a lot of support on my back, so I was thinking of getting something that mimics that. Does anyone else relate to that?
