I checked with the mods before posting this. My friend and I ride self-supported quite a bit and found Dollar Generals and convenience stores are often useful rural pit stops but it’s a headache to cross-reference where they are with the route we’re planning. So I built a small free iPhone app to find useful stops along planned cycling routes. It now shows convenience stores, cafes, gas stations, bike shops, food, and other POI types near a route (not just Dollar Generals lol). It currently covers the lower 48 in the US. Im so glad to be away from DG market now. The manager was a complete thieving Karen piece of beep, she stole product and hides it in her locker and in the office. Puts things as store use and takes stuff home after a month of hiding it all. When you look online and it says the items should be on the shelf. I also know when a item is bought, in 1 minutes it shows off the website. I told district managers and even regional about it, but they haven't fired this manager at all for over a year, what is wrong with the hire ups doing. The drivers seat in my 7month old 2025 Crosstrek Sport with 5k miles is wearing out already?! It’s not like I use the ca daily and get in and out 50x. The miles are all from weekend trips to national parks. We have a 2019 crv with 100k+ thaw seats are not wearing at all! I've been hearing a lot of talk about Dollar Tree having "penny items" for sale but I have yet to come across any locations that actually have any. I did find a sugar scrub (that was a surprisingly really good product- it smelled wonderful & worked great.. All of my local stores have roughly the same stock but never these, but every dollar general seems to. These are sweet!

At my Kroger yesterday, I saw both American Dew and regular Mt Dew, plus Cream Soda, Voltage, and Code Red (and the no-sugar or diet versions of each). They did not have Purple Thunder in, although their website indicates that it is still in production. So, if they don't have shelf space for all of the available flavors, why are they using shelf space for two identical flavors instead of ditching one and stocking Purple Thunder? I used to eat these things religiously when i’d grab some snacks at my local DG but i’ve noticed all my local DG’s aren’t selling them or stocking them on the shelves anymore. I was wondering if they’d been discontinued or not or if it’s just a local issue thing

About 5 inches across. One of us feels it is a ramen dish and the cutouts are to rest chopsticks. The other says it is a small mixing dish with two pour spouts. Had a Dollar General tag on the bottom.

Can anybody PLEASE enlighten me on wtf was happening today? An army of drivers all set on one item: 5x 4 packs of redbull at dollar general. I did at least 4 of these orders today. Every dollar general employee shocked and bewildered that I was there for the same order for the same person. More drivers for the same redbull order showing up while I was at the store. Every time I dropped the order off at the house there was traffic on the side street with all the other drivers there to do the same. This was completely hilariously insane and I can’t come up with a single reason someone would place so many orders like this for the ENTIRE day. Please help me understand!!

I currently work for Dollar General, but the hours and co-workers and scheduling issues and last but not least the manager is making me want to find other work. In my time working for DG I have done many planograms, and I genuinely love doing them so when I heard of Driveline I was intrigued. My main question however is about the pay and how often they give out raises. I was told I would start at $10 (about 39¢ less than what I’m currently making) and was just curious about the frequency of pay increases or if that’s something they do often.
