Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Dollar General Latest Community Discussions About Dollar GeneralBlood Bonds1h agoThe sky over New Harmony burned. Sergeant Jake Smith moved through the ruins of the school with his rifle raised, breath slow, eyes tracking shadows in ruined classrooms and shattered corridors. The city had once been bright glass and copper spires under the twin suns of Aurar, a showpiece colony in the Pegasus Galaxy. Now it was smoke, fire, and the distant, bone‑deep thunder of orbital guns. “Clear left,” Corporal Dan Matthews called, his heavy rotary railgun whirring softly as it tracked over the collapsed doorway. “Right clear,” Private Jackson answered, picking his way over fragments of desks and broken holoscreens. Gunner Pavel brought up the rear, his massive shoulder‑... Didn’t like how I need to scroll/flip pages with hand in iPadOS , so I created a note app that I now use daily1h agoContext : I bought an iPad mini with Apple Pencil for note taking , the fingerprints became really unbearable for me and how pages in apps in general didn’t feel intuitive for me coming from having a supernote , so for the past 3 months , I have been working on an app , that have all of the features that I need , and most important for me , is to never lose anything , I really don’t like it , that’s why I have in my app recall and version history , yes it will take of of space in iCloud backups , but I don’t want to lose anything , I feel like my notes are an extension for me , but I have no experience at all with swift and iOS programming , so I paid for AI and with it I made it to ... Specific Dollar Value Limitation1h agoI've encountered an issue with my Bilt Palladium. I was trying to pay for a software subscription. I received a message from the vendor stating that my card didn't work, so I tried to process it myself. On the processing website, I received an error indicating that the transaction type was not allowed. I went to the Bilt Rewards chat online, which told me to call. The good news is they did answer within a couple of minutes. The bad news: they apparently have a limit on the maximum dollar amount for a single transaction. The explanation I was told is that I cannot make a charge over $4k, which has nothing to do with my credit limit. I suggested to the agent that it is asin... Nothing like reading the encyclopedia at my college1h agoNora Roberts: Books 75-100, my reviews and recommendations1h agoI'm back with more! If you're a recent Nora Roberts fan, and are perhaps considering getting into her older catalogue, here's a quick synopsis and published books roughly 75-100, in order or publication. We are JUST hitting the 90s, 100 books in. This includes introductions to several new family series and connected series, more MacGregors, and **two of her best standlone novels OF ALL TIME (and her worst standlone of all time.)** While some of her early work is dated, if you've read her newer stuff it's fun to see how she used her Silhouette-era to hone some of her tropes and common plot devices that will show up much better in later-era books. Again, these are my p... Creepy man in jeep following me in blind river1h agoHi this is a throw away account to protect my identity. And yes I’ve made a report with the OPP, and have warned other friends. For a few months I’ve noticed a black jeep always slowly following me or parked near stores/parks I visit in town (Blind River). I’m naive and non confrontational, and generally anxious as I am a youth. It’s a bald man with sunglasses, and this is started to creep me out. Sometimes there is a woman with regular glasses in the passenger seat and I’ve also seen her driving the jeep alone. I never had issues when it’s just the woman. The bald man is kind of chunky and has multiple chins, I’ve only seen him once without sunglasses and he’s funny looking... Found out the hard way that P365 recoil springs have a shelf life. Track your rounds, people.1h agoThe P365 was the second gun I ever owned and the first I ever carried. Back in 2023, I was a complete n00b to the firearms world - eager to learn, but knowing next to nothing about the mechanics of it all. I hit the range. A lot. While I wasn’t keeping any records yet, my order history showed I’d churned through 3000 rounds of 9mm AAC in just two months. I loved the gun; the engineering was impressive, and for a long time, it never missed a beat. **Then came the failures.** Out of nowhere, I started getting "failure to chamber" issues. I’d fire a round or two, the trigger would go bye, and the slide wouldn't fully close. It started happening about once every 100 round... Question about social assistance1h agoI have been looking for this answer online but I’m having trouble. Basically, my oldest son is autistic and lives at home. He has done NBCC and has been looking for a job for 2 years. No place is calling back even the dollar store. He finally got a job in his field for a US company remote but they only pay piece work at about $200 a month. My question is, could he apply for social assistance? My husband and I earn more than the “household” limit, which I thought excluded my son from benefits, but on the other hand, he gets the GST credit which is also based on “household” income (my hub and I make too much to qualify. ) He wants to work but is getting so disillusioned and has ... Has Ubiquiti stated a policy on refunding the “Tariff Surcharge” if tariffs are overturned?1h agoWith the Supreme Court’s IEEPA-tariffs decision likely coming Feb. 20th, I’m trying to understand Ubiquiti’s plan for the “Tariff Surcharge" they've hit us with. If the tariffs are ultimately invalidated, any government duty refunds would generally flow to the importer of record. If Ubiquiti ends up receiving refunds tied to those surcharges, they should at minimum offer customers store credit for the surcharge amount on affected orders. They chose to break it out as a separate line item, so there’s a clean audit trail per order, and store credit is a practical way to pass value back without turning returns/refunds into a logistics circus. It’s also basic goodwill: cust... Community Spotlight: What is the single biggest issue you are facing in HD 94 (Snellville/Stone Mountain/Lithonia) that ...1h agoI'm opening up the floor for everyone living in House District 94. With the Special Election coming up on March 10th, I want to have a real conversation. Too often, party platforms are written by cOnSoLTaNtS who don't actually live in Stone Mountain or Lithonia. I want to know what is happening on your street and in your grocery store that the people running for this seat are missing. What’s the reality for you right now? Are corporate landlords and out-of-control HOAs killing the dream of actually owning a home here? Does the infrastructure feel like it’s falling apart while the rest of the county gets all the funding? Is your rent jumping by hundreds of dollars while bas... El Dorado is a myth1h agoDang it! All you with your $23 dollar Marlins on clearance finally made me go to my local Walmart. I **** that store. The layout is wrong, the aisles are narrow, and it smells funny. They took over an old department store, and it's nothing like those cool Super Walmart in other parts of the state Well, I was driving by, stopped in, and went to the me s jewelry section. The display rack was filled with a range called "george" which I assume is a store branded thing. Those, a few Fossils, and a couple of old Casio digitals. That's it. At least I remembered to pick up a Valentine Day card for my wife. Picture of my Expedition Scout Solar for illustrative purposes only. Flying into Philadelphia from Heathrow - advice??1h agoI know I’m probably just being a huge over thinking but I’m flying into Philadelphia next week and I’m really anxious about the border control. I’ve travelled a lot around Europe but I haven’t been to the USA since I was 10 years old when I went to Florida with my family 17 years ago. My situation is slightly unusual - I wrote to a prisoner on a pen pal website, let’s call him Adam, almost 5 years ago after watching a documentary about American prisoners and being nosey 💀 His crime wasn’t violent or anything to do with children, he was 18 and young and **** and he broke into a mobile phone store with his friends and they were charged with grand larceny because of the cost ... Using the play store, How do I complete a filtered search for add free playpass surfur style games?1h agoHi. I NEED HELP using the play store. How do I do a filtered search for add free playpass surfur style games? My 5 year old son loved the sled surfer game. Problem is it costs 15 dollars to remove the adds. After that they require you to spend aditional real life money on in game tickets. Each ticket allows you 1 turn to play the game and sled the penguin. I am looking for a similar style game that is add free, and isn't pay to play. I tried installing Microsoft edge, but could not figure out how to set it up so my son can easily access their free surfur game, by creating a direct icon link to it in his games folder. Google says I can access it by typing the url for it directly i... Laughing because of all the things Canadian Tire sells, it definitely does not sell used tires1h agoEdit: apologies for not scrolling down to see the copious Canadian Tire posting. I got too excited about my nostalgia for the not used tire store I don’t blame Robert for not doing research on Canadian Tire. The website runs on potatoes and the store itself defies description. Essentially tire store meets plant store meets kitchen store meets hardware store, plus you can buy other things. Canadian Tire dollars are real, although they have long since retired the paper dollars in favour of just a regular points program. You could get 10 cent, 25 cent, and 1 dollar bills I believe, and you would get them with every purchase. I remember my dad collected them in a jar and every once in a whil... Most pointless jobs you were asked to do?1h agoRecently our store manager had every department that wasn't on electronic shelf labels print every mod and replace every lavel to turn a 5 into a 6. IE, the tags had to display a print date of 2026. Literally a thousand dollars or more spent on labor to do this for the whole store. My department alone took 2 days to finish. ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
