September 18-20, 1987 - The FIRST 52 Plus Joker convention, Norwood, Ohio. It was the third year of the club’s existence, and 40 members attended. I believe the club had 4x that number at the 2025 convention. It’s great to see the evolution and growth of the club. I have been reading the earliest Clear the Decks magazines online (club members have access to these archives), but I wanted to share this with all collectors.

I’m in Michigan where it’s snowy, icy, and realfeel of -5 right now. I’m on bicycle because my car died months ago and I haven’t the finances to replace yet. I had gone four blocks to dollar general and an older man walking out said “You be careful out here. Real careful, okay? It’s dangerous. Do you need anything?” I assured him I would be careful and that I was okay, and then he left but he was without a car himself just walking. Just felt nice in this social climate.

some pages look great! others look questionable… I got this from a Dollar store, mainly for the stickers as I’m a sticker love, but coloring just for fun. some of the lines look unconnected, and the eyes feel so lifeless… but idk, maybe I’m just paranoid.

Not gonna lie I got nothing. No friends, no girl, family doesn't support me. So I don't mind moving, having no work/life balance, long hours, etc. What careers can I do with no experience? At least I'm fit so I don't care if its hard labor work, or if it's being behind a desk. I got 7k dollars total so please suggest something that pays for training or that I can afford. Hi Zach - just using it on some new images and noticed some little things. **Custom font** I used a custom font to get SF Rounded. Selecting "Black" did nothing, until I pressed the "I" for Italics.
