Need advice: I (F) have been doing ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for almost a year. I’ve invested a significant amount of time and money into to the sessions. My cat just got home from the hospital today after almost a week and almost dying from dka. Right now she only wants gravy and treats to eat. Her blood glucose is staying in the 300s and she’s getting 1.5 units of prozinc twice a day. I’m traumatized and terrified of her getting sick like that again. What can I do to help her eat more? She has nausea meds and appetite stimulant and I know at first she won’t eat her normal diet, but she’s picky anyway. So far she’s only eaten bisque treats from the dollar general and friskies gravy , mostly just licked the gravy. With everything going on in the world, I decided this Sunday to relax with a Mai Tai and do something creative. I looked around the yard and found an old, cheap solar tiki light that had seen better days. It was missing some plastic eyes, was cracked, and had faded from the Georgia sun. So I cleaned the dirt off and gave it a fresh coat of cheap paint from the dollar store, plus a layer of mod podge for a little shine. It took about an hour, but I feel pretty good about the final look. I didn’t take a before photo. it all happened so fast, but I did find the original online at Amazon, so I’m posting that as a reference. I think it’ll probably end up living in the Tiki Barn.

I've been at my Target store 3 years doing Front End and Fulfillment averaging 35+ hrs a week and been doing retail in general for over 15 years.
