I left there last year after being with the company five years and have been at Dollar Tree ever since. I just found out an hour ago that the District Manager that is primarily the reason I left and who was there for 16 years just quit two weeks ago. I have a 18x20x20 tank that I found and need to use as a bioactive terrarium. It's in good shape, other than some horrible mineral buildup. I've sprayed and scrubbed it 4-5 times using a 50-50 water-vinegar mix. I was able to remove a significant amount of the buildup but I've seemed to reach a plateau. At first it wasn't so bad shopping at Dollar Stores, but perhaps I just got lucky. My first bad experience was an order paying 8 dollars for 26 items. Now 26 items isn't huge in the grand scheme, but Dollar Stores in particular seem to be really bad. 1. Cramped (especially when there are a lot of people). 2. I loved Powerade's Hydration Bars. Looks like they are discontinuing them because they are not even available to order at Walmart, Meijer or Dollar General anymore. I decided to go on a little hunt today checking all nearby dollar general’s, family dollars, and Walmarts. Went to plenty of stores and before I knew it I was at my last store of the day. I was at a Walmart two towns over looking at all the hot wheels when a worker saw me looking through all of them and she decided to bring me an unopened box. I’m trying to find a Dollar General discontinued item. It is the pineapple kicker (brand name Forever Pals). I find them sometimes in clearance sections, but it’s slim pickings.
