every single Dollar General around me got remodel at the exact same time. I don’t know if this was like a whole thing or just in this specific state or county where I live but I **** it so much and so do many of the other customers. Literally no one at my store, likes the new update with the registers. When I first started to receive shop and deliver I thought I'm finally going to start making the same amount I use to make in 2018. They come out to about $28-40 each one. Then 1k shop and delivers in I realize I'm better off doing the restaurant orders. So I get one shop and deliver 40 items $30 3.5 miles I grab it. Halfway in there's 2 items I can't find and I'm coming the aisles I get burnt out. I'll text the customer they don't respond for 10 minutes. I finally get all items then there's 1 cashier and about 7 ppl in line that's another 30 minutes then when I'm ready to pay I get a 2nd order it says 3 items $6 i take it only to go back ...

I know we’ve ALL had the “I’ll tip more after delivery/I’ll add on to your tip” customers… It was a HUGE Dollar General order & since they are getting ready to renovate, I’m not exaggerating when I say I had to refund half his order because his grocery items were all almost out of stock (mainly the cold food/drink items but def some of the dry goods too). So I honestly saw those & rolled my eyes and just did the order; which took forever because this DG quite literally has NO signal so I kept having to run back and forth from the back of the store to the front to send messages/ask about substitutions/etc. A few minutes after delivery I still hadn’t gotten...

Hey all, so first and foremost I am in Florida, I make Hourly with this current job (will explain what I mean shortly). My main job is a CDL-A Driver for Dollar General Private Fleet, but as of two weeks ago I severely hurt my back; in turn restricts me from driving until I retake my DOT physical. I am now back in my original position, AGM for my original Dollar General store until my back is better and I pass my DOT Physical.
