Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Dollar General Latest Community Discussions About Dollar Generalfull-time lover for Alémais29m agoI fell in love with Alemais about 3ish years ago when I tried on a dress in David Jones. Every now and then I treat myself to an item or 2 from their website or from DJs. When it comes to sizing, you cant get it wrong as most things are very relaxed and their is always a little extra room BUT!! I am really disappointed that there isn't a store to try things on especially for those risky items that are of unusual styles.. For example... I have had this coat sitting in my cart since it first came out, its now on a good sale but if I purchase it and **** it I will be stuck with it forever ( pls no comments on reselling ect ) If you are still following on I appreciate it very much,... Does DRAM cache matter for removable storage?32m agoHey there! Unsure if this is the right sub, go easy on me please. Looked for prior answers here, but only found threads about using DRAMless M.2s as boot / built-in drives. I want to purchase a fast NVME SSD for use in a removable thunderbolt/USB4/USB5 enclosure. I'll primarily be using it to store photo raws, some video recordings and movies/shows. I'll also occasionally be working directly from that disk, that and the amount & size of my files are why I'm not content with the SATA SSD I currently use. It should at the very least get close to matching my laptop's built-in storage. Got an enclosure for a single 2280 that supports 40Gb/s transfers, so I'm ... Alien Autopsy 1995 Revisited, Serious36m agoThe Alien Autopsy 1995, officially debunked, is quite the rabbit hole. There's missing pieces and obfuscated information. Dive into the rabbit hole, and tell me what you think? I started thinking about this again while watching the Netflix documentary Unsolved Mysteries S5E4 The Roswell UFO Incident. At 23:27 Sappho Henderson, wife of Pappy Henderson, one of the pilots that allegedly flew the bodies from Roswell said: My husband told me the bodies were small, the heads were larger, and the eyes were rather sunken and a little slanted. Something about the sunken eyes connected to the 1995 Alien Autopsy video. The first time I saw it, I reacted with the feeling that it lacks the common ... Updated review of AI search Platforms April 202639m agoMy team and I have tested a bunch of AI search tools during the last few months, we had different clients with different needs and were looking for a tool that adds the most value, affordable and reliable. Here are our findings and I am not even going to tell you which one we have chosen so you can make up your own mind based purely on the pros and cons. **Important context:** we hoped to find a tool that tracks mentions accurately, then we realized that this is impossible. There is no such thing as accurate mention tracking in AI search. LLMs are not deterministic duh We then changed our criteria and started looking more at robustness, usefulness ability to connect with other apps and e... Trump’s federal workforce changes cost the economy more than $165.6B47m agohe Trump administration’s reforms to the federal government cost the U.S. economy more than $165.6 billion, according to [a new estimate](https://federalharmstracker.org/cost-to-our-economy/) from the Partnership for Public Service. “This is an administration that has claimed that it is trying to reduce waste, and yet the choices that it has made have created phenomenally larger waste,” said Max Stier — the president and CEO of the good government group, which has been critical of the president’s overhauls to the government workforce — during a press call on April 9. One of the largest individual sources of the costs is nearly $53.2 billion tied to disengaged civil servant... Built a rough EU AI Act compliance checklist for our startup, probably missing stuff47m agoStarted documenting what we need to check before we scale our product across Europe. Most compliance frameworks I found are either too vague or built around US regs that don't translate. Here's what we've got so far. Trying to be practical instead of exhaustive: Risk classification. We spent a week just trying to figure out if our tool counts as high-risk under Annex III. The definitions are... interpretive. We think we're minimal risk, but honestly the guidance docs are dense enough that I'm not confident we're not missing a category. Data processing documentation. This one's straightforward enough. We need to map what data we're using, where it... Help me decide49m agoHello everyone! im currently a Team Lead for an onsite role. Is pasting client personal data into AI tools a compliance risk in the UK?50m agoNot asking for personal legal advice, more of a general compliance question. In workplaces (legal/admin/HR), I’ve seen people paste things like: \- Full names + addresses \- NI numbers \- Case-related details …into AI tools to summarise or rewrite content. My concern: If that data is processed or stored externally, could that potentially breach GDPR or confidentiality obligations? Even if anonymised later, the raw input still contains identifiable information. I’ve been looking into whether client-side detection/redaction before submission would mitigate that risk. From a legal standpoint: Would preventing data from ever leaving the browser significantly reduce exposure? ... Most men are homoromantic heterosexuals, and most women are heteroromantic homosexuals.54m agoI understand this is seems like a pretty staggering claim to make so first let’s define sexual and romantic attraction. Sexual Attraction = Eliciting sexual arousal and/or the desire to have sex. Romantic Attraction = The desire to form deep, emotional, long-term bonds. Also, no generalization is ever 100%, there are always sexual/romantic minorities and exceptions, so you personally not fitting into this argument does not disprove my thesis. This is primarily about so-called “straight people”. First, let’s start with the notion that men are homoromantic but heterosexual. Most men are exclusively straight, sexually attracted to women. However, most men seek their deepest relatio... Discussion: Penitent58m ago**Finished**: 13 Apr 2026 - **Rating:** 10/10, and now my favorite 40k book. Once I began, it took only two days for me read in its entirety. I have said it before, each subsequent book enjoys the benefit of those that came before it - if Pariah, and now Penitent, came without the preceeding Eisenhorn and Ravenor books, I doubt it would have the same effect. In addition, to get to this point, one has to read so much that the universe of 40k must have become a true fascination for the reader, who has explored the lore in other ways as well. The traitor legions, the Aeldari, the name Valdor, all have extra weight because of what we the reader already know. Regardless, this book is a master wor... Dollar General finds from yesterday59m agoI’m so happy I found these, especially the RAV4. I’ve never found a Matchbox or Hot Wheels RAV4 before. All the evidence that the energy market is being manipulated by the US Treasury1h ago**As I had been making the case in the comments of a previous shitpost, thanks to a little bit too much Adderall, I realized I accidentally created an effort post.** So instead of a Twitter screenshot, I'm just going to pull all my comments together and present my case as cleanly as I can, because at this point I think there's enough evidence to suggest that it's plausible that the US Treasury is artificially suppressing the price of oil by ***** short selling oil futures. **To be upfront: this is a hypothesis built from public data, not confirmed fact.** But the data is weird enough that I think it deserves a serious look, since it's absolutely something I wouldn't... Divorced, But Queen Novel1h agoAria Saxon stood in the doorway of their swanky penthouse, her baggy pajamas practically drowning her slim frame, as Liam Cole, her husband of two years, dropped a bomb that hit like a freight train. He stood there in a slick black trench coat, his chiseled face cool and unreadable, save for a faint flicker of guilt in his hazel eyes. # [https://wordens.wogame.store/again-marriage-1/](https://wordens.wogame.store/again-marriage-1/) # here u go read it. "Aria, I'm done. I want a divorce," he said, voice flat. "I'm with Hannah now." She froze, her brain scrambling to catch up. "Wait—she doesn't know you're married?" Her words came out sh... Can ‘Michael’ Help Restore a Tarnished Image? His Estate Is Banking on It.1h agoA new biopic is the latest move in the Jackson estate’s posthumous — and lucrative — rehabilitation campaign. [https://www.nytimes.com/2026/04/14/magazine/michael-jackson-biopic-estate.html](https://www.nytimes.com/2026/04/14/magazine/michael-jackson-biopic-estate.html) There are certain things it’s difficult to picture Michael Jackson doing, like driving a car. One of the best scenes in an early script draft of “Michael,” the upcoming biopic, describes the future King of Pop weaving through traffic on a Los Angeles freeway en route to the studio. It’s 1979 and he’s 20 years old, alone in his cluttered Mercedes, singing a new song to himself — “I Can’t Help It,” the... need help identifying my allegedly rare giant e bike1h agoI’m looking to sell this, as I don’t ride it anymore. I bought it on sale from a reputable mom-and-pop store in my area. He’s not the kind of guy to lie or rip people off; he’s been there since the ’80s. In US dollars, it was $4,000 new, but I got it for $2,100. It was a little bit more expensive than the Talon E+ they had. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but he mentioned it was a “rare model,” though I don’t specifically remember why. (it might have been to do with battery life or motor power) Is there any kind of serial number or model name on the bike? I lost the logbook. I’m not thinking it’s worth a million dollars or anything; I just need to identify t... Spare a grade?1h agoHello all, I started collecting comics fairly recently and joined Whatnot. I was fairly new to, not only the app, but comics and gradings in general. This comic came as an auction starting at £1 and got up to like £46 which I ended up paying. With shipping (To Slovakia) and feed and all, I might’ve ended up spending somewhere in the mid 60s € for it. To be fair, he listed it as “Fair” (1.0), but REALLY sold it with some great lines in the live auction. I ended up regretting spending somewhere much for it, and when it arrived, regretted it even more. For a reader comic, it is fine, but as an “investment”/“collectors piece”, it seems it have been torn up by a pack of wolves.... The Global CBDC Revolution1h agoThe Global CBDC Revolution: Programmable Money, Control Grids, and the $21 Trillion Shadow.... Picture a world where your money is no longer truly yours. Every pound, dollar, or yuan you spend could be tracked in real time, programmed to expire on a certain date, restricted to approved vendors, or even frozen if your behaviour falls foul of rules set by unelected officials. This is not science fiction—it is the rapidly unfolding reality of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), now being explored by 137 countries and currency unions representing 98 per cent of global GDP. As of mid-2026, 72 nations are in advanced stages of development, pilot, or launch, with a record 49 active pilot pr... SELANK: RESEARCH GUIDE1h ago**WHAT IS IT?** Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide analog of the endogenous immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin, developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Where Semax leans activating and dopaminergic, Selank leans calming and anxiolytic, working primarily through the GABAergic system and neurotrophic pathways to reduce anxiety, stabilize mood, and enhance cognitive function without sedation or dependence. It has been approved in Russia and Ukraine for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder and neurasthenia, giving it a clinical track record that most peptides in this category lack entirely. **WHO IS IT FOR?** Ideal candidates: * Individuals... Sissa and the Chessboard: The Legend, the Mathematics, and the Civilizational Imagination1h ago# The Story as It Has Come Down to Us There is a story, ancient and persistent, about the invention of chess. A wise man — a brahmin in most Indian tellings, a philosopher or sage in others — presents a king with a remarkable game. The king, delighted beyond measure, offers the inventor any reward he might desire. Gold, land, jewels, a position at court — the king's treasury and his kingdom stand open. The inventor, whose name is most commonly given as Sissa or Sessa, or in Arabic sources as Sissa ibn Dahir, makes a request that appears, on its face, laughably modest. He asks only for rice. Specifically, he asks that one grain of rice be placed on the first square of the chessb... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
