Long post, bear with me... I decided to take a drive down to Miami yesterday to visit the last remaining Kmart location in the continental US. While I was down there, I decided to drive over to Coral Gables to visit the Sears location there, since I've never been there, and it's only about 12 miles away from the Kmart location in Kendall Lakes. As you know, there are only 5 Sears locations left, with 2 being in Florida at Orlando and Coral Gables. It’s ****** because it was only 19 dollars and possibly 9 dollars of half pay or whatever but I had a shopping order for Dollar General of $19. I don’t have my phone on a stand and I’m not looking at my phone while driving but I drive a solid 10 minutes which is about six or 7 miles to get to the store from where I was when I got the order. When I get to the store, there’s no order on my page and as I’m about to contact Support I get a two dollar order for Jack-in-the-Box from where I started when I went to Dollar General. Over a decade ago, when I was a kid, someone told me on a bus that there used to be a Publix in the small plaza on 49th St N & 9th Ave N in St. Pete and that his mom used to shop there. At that time, that former Publix was a Save-A-Lot which me & my family went to very often for our grocery runs when we lived in that part of town and it was within walking distance. Now it's a Dollar General, which moved from it's original spot on the south part of the plaza in 2023 after SAL shut down the year before. Hi there, I was exploring some opportunities and came across a Dollar General store lease available in a tiny town in southern Illinois. I know that for many people in rural areas, DG is their only source of food and materials for several miles. However, I'm not sure if there is enough traffic in a town like Ullin (near Cairo) to make a go of it. Any thoughts or perspectives?

My friend and I ride self-supported quite a bit and found Dollar Generals and convenience stores are often useful rural pit stops but it’s a headache to cross-reference where they are with the route we’re planning. Im so glad to be away from DG market now. The manager was a complete thieving Karen piece of beep, she stole product and hides it in her locker and in the office. Puts things as store use and takes stuff home after a month of hiding it all. When you look online and it says the items should be on the shelf. I also know when a item is bought, in 1 minutes it shows off the website. I told district managers and even regional about it, but they haven't fired this manager at all for over a year, what is wrong with the hire ups doing. The drivers seat in my 7month old 2025 Crosstrek Sport with 5k miles is wearing out already?! It’s not like I use the ca daily and get in and out 50x. The miles are all from weekend trips to national parks. We have a 2019 crv with 100k+ thaw seats are not wearing at all! I need to know if this is normal for Dollar General or if my store management is completely out of line. I've been hearing a lot of talk about Dollar Tree having "penny items" for sale but I have yet to come across any locations that actually have any. I did find a sugar scrub (that was a surprisingly really good product- it smelled wonderful & worked great.. All of my local stores have roughly the same stock but never these, but every dollar general seems to. These are sweet!

At my Kroger yesterday, I saw both American Dew and regular Mt Dew, plus Cream Soda, Voltage, and Code Red (and the no-sugar or diet versions of each). They did not have Purple Thunder in, although their website indicates that it is still in production. So, if they don't have shelf space for all of the available flavors, why are they using shelf space for two identical flavors instead of ditching one and stocking Purple Thunder? I used to eat these things religiously when i’d grab some snacks at my local DG but i’ve noticed all my local DG’s aren’t selling them or stocking them on the shelves anymore. I was wondering if they’d been discontinued or not or if it’s just a local issue thing

About 5 inches across. One of us feels it is a ramen dish and the cutouts are to rest chopsticks. The other says it is a small mixing dish with two pour spouts. Had a Dollar General tag on the bottom.
