Looking for a pickleball, badminton, tennis, golf, softball, any other sport novice league that is on Wednesdays. I appreciate if anyone’s got some info. r/LAFC, where do you actually go before or after matches?3h agoHi, we’re four guys and we put Los Angeles’s restaurant scene into an app called Vota. The concept is simple: you get shown two places side by side, you pick the one you’d rather go to, and the ranking updates instantly. I thought this might be relevant here because fans usually know better than generic review sites which places are actually worth going to on matchday - before the game, after the game, or for watching away matches. We’ve already mapped restaurants in the area, but I’d honestly be more interested in hearing which places supporters actually use. Good sports bars (Creature Comforts Brewery?), pre-game spots, post-game food, places that are overrated, places we m... Rumination (and living with a narc. family member)3h agoAny advice, comments, tips, or tricks on rumination? I spend too much time being distracted by the smallest things, the most difficult ruminations being interactions/conversations with others. As I’m sure you know, it makes leaving the house and socializing difficult. I usually try to distract myself when I feel the obsessive rumination starting, yet it feels like the more I try not to think about a thing the longer it stays in my head.. Perhaps you have had to live with a similar type of individual, like in my coming story, and could share advice on how you survived before you were able to get out?: **TLDR**; the most recent “thing” I am trying to stop ruminating on is a simple t... Help a 15yo moroccan student get into an Ivy league3h agoSo i live in Meknès, I'm 2 months away from finishing my freshman year, which i did nothing honestly, first semester got 17,63 and the second semester i think i will get 17,90 thats 3.9 GPA Anyways, i want to study in the US especially in an Ivy league, at first i wanted to dream at MIT, but it was way too hard and competitive after what some older friends told me. My concerns: \-Meknes doesn't have many extracurricular activities. \-Even if my city has some activities to do, which one should i do if i want to do aerospace engineering. \-Very expensive. \-There are few academic competitions. \-no clubs in school to include in essays \-What kind of sport should i start doin... Is the Well AK12 good or is it just a overpriced wall hanger?3h agoMy local store just got these AK12s made by Well in stock. I'm thinking about copping it but I want to know how good is it and how does it compare to Arcturus? r/TheMassive, where do you actually go before or after matches?3h agoHi, we’re four guys and we put Columbus’s restaurant scene into an app called Vota. Aspen - An Honest Review3h agoMy wife and I visited Aspen this winter and had a great time. We went for 4 nights. Below is an unbiased opinion from people who travel all over. Skiing/Activities: Elite. Second to none and this was on an off year. Enough said. (10/10) Nightlife/Apres: Elite. One of the highlights of Aspen for out of towners in my opinion. St Regis on Saturdays outdoors is a lot of fun and great vibes. Celebrities were hanging around and good music. The sound system at the Regis is very good. The Jade Room was really interesting to say the least. On mountain apres is great too. Can’t go wrong here. We walked by Belly Up and that sounded like it was popping with a bunch of people there too. Caveat for so... r/AtlantaUnited, where do you actually go before or after matches?3h agoHi, we’re four guys and we put Atlanta’s restaurant scene into an app called Vota. Moving from CO to Pacifica or Santa Cruz County? Is it cool or are our blinders on for our situation? Anyone that lives ...3h agoMy wife and I are DINKs and have lived in a mountain town in Colorado for about 6 years and are thinking we yearn for a change of scenery. We have careers that are usually available in or within a short commute of just about any town, so jobs in either place or any place isn't too big of a concern. We own a place here, so we're no stranger to absurd housing costs and living in a smaller space. But after 6 years, we've started daydreaming about other places. Our main things we are considering when moving: * Do not live IN a city, but kind of adjacent to one. We still want unparalleled access to hiking and mountain biking without massive crowds on our day-to-day life. * Within ... r/AustinFC, where do you actually go before or after matches?3h agoHi, we’re four guys and we put Austin’s restaurant scene into an app called Vota. The best way to get past papers3h agoTrust me download ‘my past papers’ from the App Store My little brother has been struggling with revision and I wanted to help him but when I did my GCSEs the revision apps were all blocked behind a pay wall so I did my revision by going through countless past papers and then seeing what i did well at and what I did rubbish at. I then focused on the things I did poor at and did exam question after exam question on them till I had a pretty good idea on them. But this app is where I got all my past papers and mark schemes from and they go back like a dozen years aswell. Squishmallow as a pillow, good or not good?3h agoOkay so for some brief background on me (25 F), I have numerous symptoms of hEDS affecting my entire body from head to toe, though I haven’t had insurance for a while or the extra money to go get a diagnosis. Since there is no “cure” anyway, I just try to take care of myself with tips and tricks I learn online to help alleviate the pain and make it manageable. From the ages of 4 - 24 (yep, 2 decades) I had the same exact spring mattress, which I am pretty sure was also technically a hand me down from my brothers room (adding maybe another 4-5 years to how old it was). So obviously, my back has been terrible for a very long time. I switched pillows every 3ish years, but they were ALWA... r/AtlantaUnited, where do you actually go before or after matches?3h agoHi, we’re four guys and we put Atlanta’s restaurant scene into an app called Vota. My (26F) situationship (36M) is acting weird after our argument.3h agoWe met once in December, I drove to him. He always used to call me everyday when we started talking (7 months ago) and with time, he stopped being so consistent with calling sometimes. But the last 3-4 months it was me calling or him but he still used to call me after work for a chat. He always texts me good morning, sends voice messages, pictures in the morning when he drives or when he comes home. It was our routine and it was sweet and nice. I brought up, before Easter, the fact that I can come to him (he was spending Easter without his family because his family lives in my country - he lives abroad but we are the same nationality). He didn't want me to come. He even said again h... My bf complains too much and I’m sick of it3h agoHe complains about his car and how he wants to buy a new one but works barely 20 hours a week. He complains about his job but won’t find a new one. He spends all his money as soon as he gets paid but complains about the things he buys, he just spent $70 on earbuds and complained about them and they’re not good enough for him. I took him to get starbucks twice because I had an extra giftcard and he complained about his drink BOTH TIMES. “It’s just alright.””Starbucks is such a scam they give you such a small drink with so much ice and so much sugar.” And expects me to agree even though I like Starbucks sometimes and I JUST BOUGHT YOU THIS COFFEE SO BE NICE AND SAY THANK YOU. Also, don't worry, I'm not expecting any sort of miracle. I'm mostly looking to make sure I don't transfer any bleach to other items in the wash. First, the venting part. Feel free to skip. The other day my spouse asked me if we had any bleach, because he needed it for a science lab thing (he's a teacher). I said we had a small bottle but I'd have to look around a bit to find it. (The last time I saw it was in our pantry, which has gotten really cluttered.) I didn't know what the timetable was so I figured I'd look for i... 21 m looking to chat and make friends3h agoHey! I’m a 21-year-old med student hoping to meet some new people and have some good conversations. I’m a bit bored at the moment and thought it would be a great opportunity to connect and make new friends I’m into sports, going to the gym, reading books, watching series, taking walks, listening to music, and more.
