Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Dicks Sporting Goods Latest Community Discussions About Dicks Sporting GoodsNew trailer showing off some of the combat gameplay of my game8m agoReign of Victory has been my passion project for the last year and four months, along with a ton of help from some really skilled people it's been really cool watching it slowly turn into a reality. It's a medieval fantasy coop RPG with a focus on a dynamic multiplayer. There are three classes: Villager, Outlaw and Knight; which all have a different feel to them. \- Villagers are PvE only, their class objective is to collect resources, process them, then trade them with other villages for gold. \- Outlaws can try to steal from the villagers as they move their cargo and bring that loot back to their camp without getting caught. \- Knights fight to control the villages that... Can a Fatbike Truly Handle Any Terrain with Comfort and Control?10m agoLast Saturday I went to a trail with my friend. He was riding a fatbike on rough ground. The wide tires looked strong. That moment made me curious about fatbikes. I visited a local cycle shop. They had only a few bikes. Some were normal and some weak. I wanted strong stable and durable bikes. Local stores could not provide many options to compare tire size frame or quality. I wanted something good for rough paths. While scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba I found many fatbike options. Some were simple and some advanced. There were different sizes designs and prices. I could compare stability durability and cost easily. Online stores offered far more variety than local sh... Your pricing tiers aren't the problem. The relationship between them is.12m agoMost founders I speak to are obsessing over the wrong question when it comes to pricing. "Should I have two tiers or three?" "Is four too many?" "Should I add a free plan?" The number of options matters less than you think. What actually drives which tier people choose is the comparative architecture — how each option makes the others look. The brain doesn't evaluate options in isolation. It evaluates them relative to each other. This is the core of what Dan Ariely's work at MIT explored with the decoy effect. When you introduce an option that is asymmetrically dominated — meaning it is clearly inferior to one specific option but roughl... Can a Wall Mounted Clothes Hanger Truly Save Space and Add Style?13m agoLast Friday I visited my friend’s apartment. I saw a wall mounted clothes hanger near the door. It saved space and looked neat. That moment made me curious about space saving furniture. I visited a local home store. They had only a few hangers. Some were simple and some weak. I wanted strong useful and compact hangers. Local stores could not provide many options to compare design size or material. I wanted something that fits small spaces and looks good. While scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba I found many wall mounted clothes hanger options. Some were foldable and some fixed. There were different materials designs and prices. I could compare durability style and cost ... Location: Spice Garden layout Any best IPTV or streaming TV service for Germany that actually doesn’t buffer?14m agoHey everyone, I’ve been trying to find a best IPTV or reliable TV service for Germany, but honestly most of them don’t stay consistent for long. At the start the streaming feels smooth, but after a few days it usually turns into buffering, lag, or channels not loading especially during peak hours or live matches. I mainly need something that works well for: German channels 🇩🇪 Europe content 🌍 I also watch content similar to Netflix, Prime Video, and live sports like football & F1 pretty regularly, so stability matters a lot to me. Recently I tried ip8ktv .com, and so far the experience has been quite good. Channels load quickly and I haven’t faced any buffering y... Topio Error 404: Arms Not Found?15m agoSo I've noticed, as others may have already, that the blurb on the TOPIO card states that the robot has "six arms". Since the picture on the card shows a robot with only two arms, I got curious, and did some research, and... Well... It does seem to only have two arms. I'm now wondering if "arms" has any other meaning in this context, if it's a simple error, or if I'm just being silly. AITAH for not telling my bf i was assaulted at our work, and instead confiding in a male coworker?16m agoTW// sexual assault So I (18F) started a job a few months ago as an AI glasses sales rep inside a big electronics store. My boyfriend (19M) already worked there and helped me get the job since he has sales experience and I didn’t. This was my first real job, and I actually liked it a lot as most of the staff were around our age (like 19–24), so it was pretty social and easy to get along with people. For some important context, I didn’t technically work for the store, I worked for the brand. So I had to stand at my display all day, explain the glasses, demo them, etc. But I couldn’t go into the stockroom myself or process sales alone. If someone wanted to buy, I had to get a store e... Looking for advice on which grad schools I have a realistic chance of getting in with my profile ? (STEM field, more det...17m agoHello everyone! I am about to complete my bachelors in electronics engineering, after which I have a job lined up for 1-2 years to save up financially for grad studies, as I aspire to be a researcher/scientist. I personally know no one among the circles of friends & family who have got into research, and thus I have a limited understanding of the potential my profile has in terms of the universities I can possibly get admitted to. I will summarize my journey/profile below. It'll be extremely useful if anyone with a better idea of uni admissions in general can give me a lead on my potential to enter specific unis. My undergrad degree is from a top 15 engineering uni in ... My boyfriend (M38) of 4months got me (F28) pregnant by accident. After 2 days while we were on the phone he confessed th...18m agoHello everyone. So I am currently in very big stress and I need some advice and logical thinking. So, I met my current boyfriend(a personal trainer) at the gym and we've been together for 4 months. I knew him for 2 years prior to our relationship and we kept a friendly relationship at the gym. He is really good looking and I am as well. We have been flirting for sometime before we get together but he never actually initiated anything with me ( I always wondered why, since I knew that he was not married and he seemed to be into me). One day I suggested that he would come with me to a sports event. After that, we went for some drinks and we ended up kissing in his car. He made a move ... Solid all round choice (E5 vs Diverge 4 Comp)19m agoHello, I’ve had my eye on a Diverge for a while, coming from lifelong purchases of another large brand (Giant). In both cases the total cost would be the same for either bike after upgrades if I went for the E5, so budget is not an issue. I’m aware of the benefits of the future shock as well as the online comments re: fears of maintenance going forward. I tend to keep bikes for a fair while, current bike is now 7 years old, so I wondered whether there was any thoughts on my use case: One bike garage, so do road riding, bikepacking/touring, and weekend gravel rides all on the same bike. I just remove bags/accessories as needed. Tend to have frame bag, handlebar bag, saddle bag and curre... Why ‘Trust but Verify’ Fails in Modern Security?21m agoAlright, buckle up because this is going to be a long one. I've been in network security for about eleven years, currently working as a security architect at a mid-sized financial services firm, and I want to have an honest conversation about something that doesn't get talked about directly enough: most organizations still aren't running zero trust, they're running perimeter security with zero trust branding slapped on top of it. And those are very, very different things. I'm not here to sell you anything. I'm here to explain why the old model is structurally broken, what zero trust actually requires in practice, and what I've personally watched go wrong ... Horror indie games **** right now.22m agoObviously, there are definitely some exceptions out there, but for the most part, horror indie games aren't good at all right now. I swear I have played (or watched someone else play) the exact same game for the past 9 months: Work in store at night > spend a long time serving customers > something "scary" happens > make the right choices to not die > game ends. Then, if the game doesn't have you working a job, it's a walking simulator where nothing happens for most of the game besides dialogue/notes. 90% of these games are just filler. I completely understand the need to build atmosphere and suspense, but spending most of the game doi... Thank you, GODOT. I have a published game NOW!26m agoCreating a game was just an unreachable dream for me once until I met with Godot... this idea has changed on the road. I wasn't able to create a game or simply thinking of creating a game also was a far idea from my imagination but I made it today, thanks to simplicity and easy to use of Godot Engine. Thank you for making this engine and helping me and so many people to become a Game Developer. I am a huge fan of Forza Horizon and Need For Speed games and I played almost every single game of this genre and all I did in those games was just drifting all around the game world with some good music banging in the background. Drifting was not a joy for me it was a threapy. I was thinking ... Anime merch store with EU currency and with international shipping also the outside of EU but that also offers payments ...27m agoCan somebody recommend some good anime merch stores from EU and outside of EU but that also offer paying with euro currency, that they also offer international shipping and large selection of anime merch.Thx in advanced 👋Welcome to r/SmallWatch - Introduce Yourself and Read First!29m agoWelcome to r/SmallWatches We focus on watches with a lug-to-lug length under 46mm. Whether you have a 15cm or 16cm wrist or just appreciate a watch that actually sits right, you’re in the right place. If you have a smaller wrist you already know the struggle. You spend weeks researching, finally pull the trigger, and the thing shows up looking like a dinner plate strapped to your wrist. The watch world is obsessed with 44mm+ cases some of us are mere mortals. This sub is for finding the ones that actually work. What to post Wrist shots, recommendations, questions, deals, grails, and regrets. Mirror shots especially encouraged. Rules: \- Don’t be a ****. Don’t shame anyone for th... AIO: Is it normal that my mom manages my money? (19f)30m agoI have a job and a good amount of money in my bank account from money I’ve saved up. My mom is constantly asking to see my bank account and she gets mad if I spend some of it (which I completely understand because she is my mom) but ever since I started my new job, I’ve been getting my paychecks in cash and my mom has been putting the cash in a safe. She likes to store all my cash there and whenever I want some cash I have to ask for permission (she gives it to me anyway) But now I want to start saving up some money for an iPad and new phone. And the more I think about it, it feels a bit odd that she is the one kind of managing my paychecks ? I want to save my own cash without her knowi... I need honest advice. M26 176cm/78kgi30m agoHi everyone, I’d like to ask for some honest advice. I’m a former hockey player, so I’m familiar with the gym, but I always trained mainly for sports performance. For the past few years, I’ve been retired from sports, and I’m currently in my second year after college, focusing on my corporate career. This has had some impact on my body, as I spend several hours a day sitting in the office, and after work I often continue sitting at the computer. I’m also coming out of a breakup, and right now I finally have the space to focus on myself (in areas outside of work). Over the past two years, my gym attendance has been inconsistent. There were periods where I didn’t train at all ... Help a baby fish become a Mermaid31m agoHi Mermaids , nice to meet you all , I'm coming here to get some magic from the underwater world , I've always wanted to be a mermaid but it stayed a dream in my head for long ; then about 2 years ago i watched the documentary "Merpeople" on Netflix and it sparked something in me so here i am , fighting my fears and doubts hoping to find some help from the mermaids. I'm Pumpqueen , 25 y/o Caribbean and I'm fat but i always wanted to at least try mermaiding despite my body , do you have advice to overcome my fears and let go , even experiences/stories are welcome. \--------------------------------- I have some questions to started with , thank you for the ti... This new “love” company thing is complete garbage.31m agoAt my store we can’t get wifi that works for customers to clip their coupons, because they intentionally slow the wifi down. They’re more worried about little Timmy being inappropriate in the bathroom than the customers in the store shopping. Our WiFi has been bad for years. They know it. I know it. Everybody knows it. Zero fixes. Yet we do a fresh start on customers being disappointed they can’t clip their coupons. Customers have complained about the pickup trollies for years so we added a third row and made them bigger. I’ve got no signs in my department that tell the aisle number. So for customers that don’t want to walk with me to their lubricant, I can’t just tell them the... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
