I got 27 hours this week at Marshalls as a part timer, I was scheduled 21 hours originally but got called 2 times to come in. I started in Nov. My store is a busy one, we get a lot of tourists and we’re supposed to get 10 tjx daily to meet our goal. So we don’t get a lot of payroll cuts. The worst schedule if I ever gotten was 12 hours back in Early Feb. Most ppl here are amazing, I only do register thank goodness. It’s annoying that they don’t tell things, then you get in trouble for it. Like you never told me that?? Overall, it’s not that bad just low wage. $14/hr which is basically $13/hr after what they take out.

Been wanting to hop into the Absolute runs and after looking around the only comic shops near me only sell secondhand comics, so I was looking at non local shops and they were like $15-$20 an issue. Is that just what the normal price is? Is that just massive markup? At that rate if I wanted to catch up that would be over $400 and that's just for Absolute Batman and not any of the other Absolute titles. Is there a good online store for non digital copies?

I'm from the U.S. and have been to many places out east. I'm not a huge fan of places like Chicago/Nashville/ATL. Obviously these are the places with the most touristy things to do. Could you recommend me some good places with a lower population and things to do? I enjoy nature, woodlands, mountains, deserts, etc any biome other than NW IL. Museums are good, renting a boat, kayaking, camping, hiking (emphasis on low population here) thrift store/pawn shops etc. Historical areas are also a plus so long as the history isn't the only part worth looking at.
