I got him a week ago now, he’s warmed up pretty well but he’s scared of ANYTHING that isn’t seed and I get it’s still his first week but im afraid that this will continue.. i tried to add vegetables to his food bowl on top of his seeds to encourage him to eat it, he just threw them out to get to the seeds. So far the only veggie he’s willing to eat is pepper, which is good but i want to improve his diet P.S the pet store we got him from encouraged us to feed him apples so im assuming that used to be his favourite food, could it be that he’s still adjusting to the environment so he’s not really trusting anything that’s not within his usual diet?
