So I’m a finance person took some accounting classes. I know a good amount of tax rules. One rule that I know is all gambling winnings are taxed even 10 dollar ones and many people know that rule. Is it my duty to inform my friends who bet on sports or gamble of these rules. I recently jumped back into collecting and I've been exclusively using eBay for singles. I've been pretty strict about not overpaying and getting good deals. Recently, I've been trying super hard to secure a PSA 9 of Jerry Rice's 1986 rookie card, and it's just not happening. Sellers aren't budging from their above market asks. So, how do some of you go about finding something you really want that isn't too abundant out there? Are card stores competitive, or is patience key? I live near Frank and Son (which many of you are familiar with) but they gouge badly. Anyway, thanks in advance for suggestions!
