It's -19F in Minnesota right now and as I was walking by the thermostat at about 10pm I saw that my thermostat said "Connection Lost". I decided it would be a good time to figure out how to set up the wifi connection on thermostat, which involved pulling it off the wall to get the MAC address which was printed on the back. At about 11pm I realized the furnace was blowing cold. After re-seating the thermostat several times with no luck I jumpered between R&W on the furnace and the gas kicked on right away, so it's now 1 AM and I went to jumper up at the thermostat and I connected the wrong terminals and blew a 3 amp fuse on the furnace control board. Greetings armour reddit, I'm doing HEMA, but I don't like the HEMA black colour code, I know that a gambeson and/or fencing jacket is available in more colours nowadays. But what about the hard defence. Arms, legs, hands, chest, (head?) I like the look of steel much more. What kind of armour would you suggest for that?
