Hi y’all! First time user of magnetic gel. I’m using Depend Gel IQ, specifically ”Metallic Marble Aquamarine”. Bought one of those cheap magnet sticks (one rectangle and one circle in each end) in the same store, but can’t get any effect out of it. I did everything in order, including one thin layer of magnetic polish (hardened) before trying to use the magnet. I’ve ”rolled” the nail polish before using it, and shaken it lightly. I’ve tried to apply a ”normal amount” (good coverage, pretty thin) and then used the magnet according to YouTube videos, with no luck. I've set up a zfs mirror pool using two 8TB WD Red drives I've pulled from my NAS, and I'm just using this pool to store backups.
