Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Dicks Sporting Goods Latest Community Discussions About Dicks Sporting GoodsSmall Haul: Supreme x MLB, Vetements, Palace UGGs, Stussy & Kith1h ago1. Kith Long Sleeve Button-Up (Black) Super clean low-key piece. Kith usually nails the materials on these "grown-up streetwear" cuts. The collar has a nice sharp point to it, giving it a slightly dressier vibe than a standard button-down. The small logo placement is perfect—not too loud. It’s a great versatile staple to have when you need to look put together but still want to rep a brand. Rating: 8/10 2. Stussy Big Ol' Jeans (Light Wash) You can’t really go wrong with Stussy denim right now. The light wash on these looks authentic and vintage, not that cheap chemical blue you see sometimes. The embroidery on the coin pocket is a nice detail. Assuming these are the &qu... Advice On Roster Selection1h agoA few of my friends are getting into MCP and I plan on joining them. I am a long time comic fan and owner of a game/comic store so it comes naturally. As much as I love games, I am not a win at all costs kind of player. I am interested in winning, and want to be competitive, but I dont need to go crazy with every exploit. As an example, my MTG decks are solid gold jank - when they do their thing, they can win against anyone, but they are not flexible when disrupted. To that end, I care about making a roster with characters I like more than just optimizing a certain team ability. I still want to try and have it work well, though. This is where you guys (I always use this term in a gender n... Keep-up burnout (question/rant)1h agoI have a question/rant that seems a little different from the posts I found searching for this. I grew up as the web started taking hold. I was always techie, so I'd make simple sites with html/gifs/etc. when the web was taking off. I was the type to discover you could get a free website from geocities by commenting out their banner, etc. I later learned a lot of other programming (game scripting, automating FOREX systems, c/java/php/etc.) and in recent years was even hired as a full-time programmer a defense contractor in Unity/some proprietary stuff. (I've since quit for a variety of reasons, mostly nothing to do with the programming side.) I always have my own projects and som... [Showcase] 7-month solo project: Mobile card game with custom state management, DI, and event-driven architecture1h agoHey Unity devs! Just shipped \*\*Garden Cards\*\* to Google Play after 7 months of evening/weekend dev (2h/day apprx, some days 0 hours some days 3-4 hours). Started as an Asset Store template idea, became a full game. \*\*The game\*\*: Strategic card-based plant growing sim. dynamic grid, resource management, 20+ plant types, weather system, meta progression(gallery/special cards). \*\*Why posting here\*\*: I went DEEP on architecture patterns and learned a ton. Thought I'd share the technical approach in case it helps anyone: **\*\*🏗️ Architecture Highlights\*\*:** Built everything custom for the Asset Store version - wanted full control and scalability, as option move this ... My gf broke up with me and ghosted me..1h agoYesterday, I woke up to a break up message like 5-ish that she sent at 1 am. She broke up with me saying how my actions made her think we’re not meant to be and how every little thing i mess up on keeps adding on and i had ways on making her feeling miserable. She said we’re not compatible and then wished good for me and how it’s not healthy for her to be in this relationship anymore. The thing is, we’ve been doing okay and the last time i saw her was on friday and I didn’t know that’d be the last time. We went to eat together and spoke about how we will exchange gifts and build gingerbread houses together, she was excited as much as I was. She had her gift for me with her as she... Genre channels1h agoAnyone have examples of playlists or channels that have good, darkish or moody, songs that aren't super whiney? Ideally rock or folk, something in that area. There's plenty of stuff on Suno but wading through the rabble to find actually well done tracks with good lyrics and clearly made by someone that had an actual intent is tiring. Preferably stuff that clearly was made by a musician (unique, identifiable riffs or coordinated song structures or matured non-sophmoric lyrics) I'll try to list some bands or songs that are dope IMO, if that helps: Dark Folkish/americana: Colter Wall Amigo The Devil Tejon Corner Street Thieves Trampled by turtles Poor man's poison Devil ma... Last Work Carry Before The Holiday Break1h agoSince my last EDC post I’ve spent a few months refining my carry down to a few essentials that add significant utility to my day-to-day life and warrant always being on my person. Here’s what I’m carrying today: 1. Vaer Atlas A3 on a green nato. I collect watches and swap out what I’m wearing pretty frequently, but this one has been getting a lot of wrist time lately. It’s a great no-nonsense piece. 2. Spyderco Ambitious. I love how compact this blade is. I run it without a pocket clip and usually store it in my fifth pocket. I added a lanyard to make it easier to retrieve. I work an office job so I don’t need anything crazy, but I do find utility in carrying a small knife and ... Not sure if our Security Guard is crossing boundaries1h agoTLDR; security guard where I work goes on break to wait for me to leave work and reviews cctv of me at work when he wasnt on shift. I (22f) work in a small shop inside a much larger shop with third party security guards, who look after all our CCTV and security issues. Many guards are very social and well known, this one (27m) is extremely sociable and so we began talking. I have many colleagues phone numbers from the main store, my store and the guards too. After messaging a little it became clear he was interested but Im not and am in a nearly 3 year relationship. I made it clear, he said he respected that and backed off but still messaged occasionally. At some point he decided that we... 🎄CHRISTMAS PHOTO GIVEAWAY 🎄1h ago🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS, r/VintageRepWatches! 🎄 To say thank you to this incredible community, we’re kicking off a Christmas Photo Contest — and yes… the winner will be walking away with something special. 🎁 THE PRIZE The winner will receive a surprise custom watch build crafted by one of our trusted community builders. Leak/Confirmed: New McLaren Store is operated by stichd/PUMA1h agoI found a Trustpilot page for the new McLaren store, which opens on January 1, 2026 (store.mclaren.com). It confirms that the store is operated by stichd/PUMA (as already [speculated in April](https://www.sportbusiness.com/news/exclusive-castore-out-puma-in-at-mclaren/#:~:text=Retail%20for%20the%20McLaren%2DPuma%20apparel%20contract%C2%A0is%20expected%20to%20be%20run%20by%20Stichd)). The plot has quite a few similarities with *Blame!* In *Autofac*, humans built gigantic autonomous & self-replicating factories to secure production “of consumer goods” during atomic war. Now, the war has long ended, and humans cannot recover control of the factories, while the overconsumption of natural resources by factories threatens all life on Earth (just like the netsphere in *Blame!*). It's a very short read, I recommend it to all Nihei fans who also like retro scifi. (And if you google it, you can find the story for free in archive.org!) Chance me. For people who already own EVs, does an electric snowmobile feel familiar or like a totally different ownership experien...1h agoFor people who already own EVs, I am curious if an electric snowmobile feels familiar or like a totally new kind of ownership. On one hand, you already understand charging habits, range anxiety, and cold weather losses. On the other, snowmobiles are used hard, stored seasonally, and pushed in ways cars usually are not. With my EV, most problems are predictable. You charge overnight, plan longer trips, and watch the weather. A snowmobile seems more emotional. You ride when conditions are right, not on a schedule. That could make battery limits feel more frustrating, or maybe easier to accept since rides are shorter and planned. I remember scrolling through Alibaba out of curiosity and seein... Should I tune new skis?1h agohi everyone! I recently got my first pair of black crows sato birdie skis after only having narrow piste skis. I got them from sport bittl and I dont know if I should get them tuned before going skiing. someone said to me that they come with a perfect 90 degree angle and it should be at 89 for skiing. also a lot of people have said to me that factory wax isn't good and I should get them waxed. are there any specific requirements for all mountain skis? any advice is appreciated. Gala dress1h agoHi all. Ive visted every store in Zuidplein and none of them had gala dresses. I mean, long dresses that are good for parties. And fitted. Every dress was a summer dress, wide dress and not at all fitted/synched. I want it to be somewhat. classy but show off my figure Is there any store in the main city area that would have them? She had a beautiful fountain pen from whose nib a shimmering blue ink flowed. The two of them—Joan Deadion and the man, whose name was Paquette—were sitting in the lobby of a seedy old hotel called the Pelican, which was near where he lived. “So even though this was in Canada, the company used the American spelling. Growing 3D archery in Tokyo, Japan.1h agoTokyo's first 3D Archery areas, western/USA style. Wanted to share some of my experiences shooting compound bows in Japan and the rules I've found... I am able to use my Mathews LiftX on Tama Hills Recreation where they have three archery areas. First is a simple field with traditional round targets. Second area is an area with Delta Mckenzie 3D animals and other premium targets to learn the sport. Roughly 20 spread out on hills and such. Third area is a roughly 800 meter trail with another 20 targets from close up to 60+ meters. It's a legit course with all premium targets, even a full size elk!
