Are there any good diner spots that serves breakfast all day long? (Excluding chain restaurants like ihop and dennis) I have been wanting breakfast for dinner for some time now, but can't seem to find the right spot that does it locally.

Before the Internet and Cellphones many of us socialized on the CB Radio. For me, it was great because it combined my love of "all things radio" with the bonus of meeting new friends. In the mid-1970's we had a group of users on CB Channel 13. We became close friends and usually met for coffee at Denny's or Sambo's restaurants a couple times a week. Istg it’s borderline socialism in there wtf do you mean 12 bones for STEAK AND EGGS, Rudy’s ain’t got **** on there hash brown bowls (to compare to their breakfast bowls), dennys is lower quality and more expensive, Dennys pancakes are objectively worse than ihops but frankly I’d rather have an 8 dollar stack of waffles regardless, they have grits, they make the food in front of you like a **** redneck hibachi. Seriously Waffle House is an American delicacy and I’m tired of acting like the only thing keeping folks from realizing that ISNT straight up classism.

Was recently in LA (where I used to live) and was really struck about how diner culture is still alive and well there. You can still quite easily find a tuna melt at 1:00am Swingers, Astro, Norms, North Hollywood Diner, Carrows etc etc. it made me lament the lost late night diners of Oakland: Claremont, Nikos, Hopscotch, the other Buttermilk, even Denny's. What do we think has caused this, and what are there any that still exist that I don't know about? I know about Piedmont bakery, Blackberry, the remaining Buttermilk, Sequoia (a diner in name, but not really a greasy spoon) the remaining Denny's. Black Bear.
