CVS PHARMACY Locations

A lot of you have been curious about the new registers. My store has three of them in the RX and front store. I only have photos of RX registers. During the installment they also added biometric cameras to each workstation and register (including drive thru)! Here’s photos of RX ones. Privacy screens are in place for the customers so you have to walk around to help them instead of peering over the counter. It’s a pain in the a\*\* to clock in at the registers and anyone can perform a “managerial task” aka voids/price mods

I just got a prescription at planned parenthood because kaiser is ***. Cvs said they won't fill my t prescription because i have kaiser insurance. I told them i want to pay out of pocket, and they said they cant do it. Has anyone else had to deal with this? Am i able to just send the prescription to a kaiser pharmacy without needing to talk to my pcp?

I’m just rambling and ranting because I have nowhere else to put this and don’t want to talk to my family or other friends about it. My closest friend is such a big part of my life. Our kids are friends and have been since they were infants. I talk to her about anything and everything and she’s been my closest confidante for many years. Over the last year I’ve either started to notice this behavior or it’s kind of come on over time, but I’m getting to the point where I’m quietly starting to resent her. Hi all, my store just rolled out with the new POS setup, and it’s been a few weeks but I haven’t seen the signage/stanchions follow in… this is the signage that goes by the pharmacy encouraging patients to “step right up” to check in on any open tablet. My first instinct would be to dial the sign hotline. But, I don’t know the item numbers. If this is the way to go, anyone know said item numbers? Looking for the tall stanchion and the border sign that attaches onto the privacy touchscreen. Thanks for any advice!

Anzupgo has been completely life changing for my severe chronic hand eczema, but CVS Specialty is no longer able to access it as of April 1st, 2026. I got a letter from them in March stating that CVS Specialty would transfer my script to 1 of the 3 pharmacies that do have access, but they did not. Does anyone know a pharmacy near center city will fill my pain medicine. My prescribing Doctor will only do paper scripts because its controlled. I tried CVS, Walgreens, Mom and pop pharmacies and they all turn me away.

Hello guys! Need some input on my current situation here. Been a Part-time Pharmacy Technician since 2022 and really love the team I got besides one or two people. I have been asking my RXOM to send me to PTCB classes and get certified nationally. But they keep procrastinating and pushing me back, saying that I am not "at that level yet" and pointing out flaws I need to improve on. CVS specialty pharmacy called me today, I was hoping for good news the last week since my urologist appointment. First my jaw dropped when they told my my copay was $2,100 per dose. Then she told me she would apply for some type of copay assistance if I gave her the pertinent info. I did, and was approved for like $5600 assistance, then she said I was automatically approved for the manufacturer copay assistance up to another $6000. So I have a $0 copay for all 4 rounds. I’m so excited to get this started, knowing now that all my copays are covered. Hoping the Urologist receives the medication from CVS by mid next week.

Hi I'm an operations manger and pharmacy tech and I was wondering how I'm able to order a new name tag. I'm well aware there are blanks that you can just print on with the online badge printing, but I am not talking about those. I'm specifically looking to get one where my name and title are printed directly onto the name tag itself because it's not possible to put both titles onto one through the online printing. Recently received Novavax injection at Pacific Palisades CVS a couple of weeks ago. This CVS is EMPTY having recently reopened in the middle of the burn zone. Never had more than one person in line at pharmacy (or regular checkout for that matter). Vax availability closes at 1:30 for lunch and 7:30 at night. The pharmacist said that many people are asking for this specifically, and asked me why. My answer was that in the Long Covid community it may have benefits beyond better outcomes if infected to include possibly prophylactic and help with LC symptoms. For the past 11 months I’ve been in the pharmacy, and they really are serious when they say training is just nonexistent, but I have consistently watched new people be given opportunities while I’m stuck on pick up and fancy pick up (drive through) and when I asked about the reasoning, they said urgency is needed, but when I’m running around the pharmacy, other people are on their phones and talking etc, but when I answer a question for a customer I get yelled at— this all boils down to no one likes pick up and I’m the only one who doesn’t make a big deal of it, but it’s very frustrating, and on top of that I need health insurance and I’m not getting full time hours….
