Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyTransferring pharmacies1h agoHow difficult is it to transfer to another pharmacy? Is there a minimum of time you need to have been with CVS before a transfer is allowed? Storing thousands of dollars of medication: HydraPeak and WiFi temp sensor- my observations2h agoLately I’ve been seeing more discussion around storage solutions and best practices. I wanted to share the latest evolution in how I’m storing my Tirzepatide. Eli Lilly recommends Tirzepatide be stored at temperatures between 2°C - 8°C (36°F to 46°F)**.** I’m treating that as my target range, but of course everyone should follow the storage instructions as recommended by your pharmacy. My goals: * Keep medication within the narrowest temperature range reasonably possible * Protect medicine from light, agitation, mishandling, and temperature excursions * Avoid fridge door, as it tends to have bigger temperature swings and is the warmest part of the fridge * Avoid storing directly... Is compounded semaglutide safe and what actually tells you that before you commit to a provider2h agoThis is the question I kept circling back to during my research and I never felt like I got a satisfying answer from any provider site, which obviously has an incentive to say yes. I'm trying to understand what the signals of safety are for compounded semaglutide specifically and where legitimate concerns exist versus where the risk is overstated. From what I've gathered the main safety considerations are whether the compounding pharmacy is operating under proper regulatory oversight, whether the active pharmaceutical ingredient is sourced legitimately, whether there's physician oversight of the prescription, and whether the medication is stored and shipped correctly to mai... People, Product, Process: Why the “Emotional Salary” is the Only ROI That Matters2h agoWe’ve all heard the triad made famous by Marcus Lemonis: **People, Product, Process.** It’s clean, it’s logical, and it works. But throughout my journey—from opening a tech store at my 20ies while juggling university to building emotional ecosystems for brands today—I’ve realized that while the three are pillars, **People** isn’t just the first step. It’s the entire foundation. # The Myth of the “Right” Team There is no such thing as the “perfect” team waiting to be found in a stack of CVs or filtered by AI. Perfection is static; growth is dynamic. Success doesn’t come from finding “the right people”—it comes from fostering a **focused, aligned, and mo... Business Ideas in 1 - 1.5 Crore3h agoHi guys, I work in an IT field earning more than 1 lakhs per month. Year ago my father lost his job and he is unable to find job due to his age factor. Today, my father asked me that I should leave my job in few months and start a business so we both can run it and generate income as my salary barely does anything. I have also given this a thought and working in a job with all this stress and night shifts, i am looking forward to starting a business but I have no idea what should I do like build a gym or franchise a pharmacy store as my dad has the license for it. Can you guys please help in suggesting any business ideas. I am ready to work hard and step out of my comfort zone to run th... Temper tantrum?11h agoSorry, this is a bit of a vent, I just need to know I am not overreacting. I am undiagnosed Autistic- only because it is too expensive to get a diagnosis, but I work in an industry with many Autistic and ADHD clients (look at me trying to validate myself again). Anyway, I am also Bi Polar. I get scripts for medication from both my GP or psychiatrist, whichever one is convenient. The last prescription from my GP she had the number of tablets I take a day as 1 when I take 2. My local pharmacist knows me well and adjusts the script. This time, not thinking I went to a generic chain store pharmacy. They took one look at the script repeat where my chemist had written a note to himself on it and... Independent pharmacy owners of Australia11h ago4th year pharmacy student here! Passionate about public health and professional services. Exploring the idea of owning a local independent pharmacy (not discount store lol). Asking all independent pharmacy owners of reddit - realistically whats the buy-in vs net profit? Metropolitan vs regional? Do you sole own or co own? Is it better to own one big (\~3 mil) store or own multiple smaller stores? Is it still a rewarding pathway to pursue? Due to the bloom of discount stores :? Any advice is appreciated TIA My salary progression as a first gen highschool grad12h agoHi everyone, i have been seeing everyone's posts and was very fascinating of the progressions. My family immigrated to the US when I was 14. Just want to share my journey as the first person in my family to graduate highschool, much less in another country. However being a pharmacy owner is not all that glorious though, since the US healthcare system is trash. So it is my new stress K1ll me12h agoI **** working for cvs because I don't like the general public i like the stocking and facing part of it, but actually dealing w customers not my favorite. that being said, my favorite co-worker is leaving being the literal store manager, i'm genuinely considering finding a different job but some circumstances in my life make it kind of hard for me to find a different job but I might just work around it, not sure yet Panini Fifa wc stickers 202613h agoDoes anyone know if stores in usa like Walgreens or CVS are currently selling the new fifa panini world cup stickers and album in person? pay raises?13h agoI started working as a pharmacy technician at Cvs last summer. I remember maybe midway in the summer. My pharmacist told me I got a 20 cent raise in my pay which was like one or two months into working. is there a time period where we get raises like are there raises coming soon? Will I get a raise this summer? I don’t know how the raises work. and who chooses the raises, the Pharmacist? Dear Fascist Bully Boy15h agoAny pharm techs ever been bullied by their store manager? I ended up transferring, but is this a common thing? I really thought I could deal with it because, well, he's FOS and I'm Rx, but no. He found reasons to come back into the pharmacy several times a day and nitpick/belittle/find fault with everything I did or said or wore. My spineless PIC wouldn't intervene. I finally forced the issue with corporate because it was so often and so unrelenting that I started having panic attacks and suicidal thoughts like every single day. There were no repercussions, I didn't file a report because I just wanted TF OUT, but to this day, I have NO idea what the **** I did to make him... Heb loyal15h agodidn’t want to break a bill and heb came clutch. Love you always heb 🩷 Tired of wading through spammy "deal" sites? Here's my actual process for finding legit online savings ac...16h agoAnyone else absolutely fed up with seeing a 'deal' for 50% off, only to find out it's 50% off an inflated MSRP, or the item was cheaper last month without a 'sale'? I've wasted so much time trying to decode whether a discount is *actually* a discount, or just clever marketing. It's why I started spending a little extra time digging around before any significant purchase, and the difference is real. It's not about 'secret hacks' or 'insane savings' every single time, but consistently finding better value for my money. Here are a few recent examples of what I mean: * **Kitchen Appliance (6qt Air Fryer):** * **What I saw:** M... Beware the auto-refill19h agoPrefacing this with “I should have noticed earlier”. However, it hit me on Wednesday night I was getting a migraine. I could feel it was going to be a bad one… so as one does I realize that it’s after the second week of the month and I’m overdue on my Emgality…. Which had magically appeared the day before I needed it for the last few months thanks to Amazon pharmacy and auto-refills. It shipped the 13th and was delayed… it was then the 22nd…. So I call Amazon, my neurologist, and my local CVS, Walgreens, and Kroger (all out of stock). Long story short and after 6 phone calls to Amazon, other pharmacies, and my insurance I get it ordered and will get it Monday. So… the way ... Guess I'll stick to Costco from now on19h agoI've been a shopper for a couple months and shopped at various stores with variable item availability. Kroger, Sprouts, Home Depot, Lowe's, CVS, Target, and Costco. It's been a learning curve with accepting certain batches and knowing which stores will be a **** shoot. I've thankfully been getting more comfortable at Costco and I live right near one too. I have a 5 star customer rating with various positive feedback. I'll just stick to accepting only Costco orders for a while. They do pay more and I can make my goal with just a couple batches, plus they open at 10am so I can create a better balance with my routine and putting in hours. Before I would clock in at 6:... Getting so sick of Walmart ******* up my orders!20h agoI'm an in-home customer. I have been for 3 years. I know better than to use third party sellers but I accidentally did yesterday because I'm not feeling well and I ordered medication to get delivered today. I look in the status because it's 2:00 p.m. and I haven't gotten a notification that it's on its way yet. In app the status now says it's coming tomorrow. I'm ****** because #1 I got no notification I only found out because I went to look. #2 it's only 2:00 p.m. why can't they deliver it today? There's still 8 hours left in the delivery window! I need the medication and I'm going to go over and get it at the local pharmacy but... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
