Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyFreezing24m agoDoes your store have heat?!!! My store is freezing cold not just chilly. The heat cannot be functional. I refuse to pay $80 for a jacket to wear in pharmacy and the scrubs are paper thin. It was so bad the other day that my nose was running nonstop, I was shivering uncontrollably, and couldn’t think straight. I’m not the only one freezing. There was no difference between store temp and outside (calling for snow). DM stopped by and SFL mentioned it to them and was told it’s hard to heat a large building and just shrugged it off. Patients/customers have complained. I started wearing two pairs of fleece lined leggings and shirts under my scrubs and gloves. I’m using pocket warmers and s... Deductible and OOP max25m agoHello! Much like everyone else, my insurance skyrocketed this year. My deductible is around $6000 and my max oop is around $8000. My doctor sent in prescriptions to cvs (med was 1200) and another into optum specialty pharmacy (med was 3900). My insurance app is saying I have paid $5000 and have just under 1000 left until I meet my deductible. I did not pick up the medications bc they’re too expensive (I am working on a diff and cheaper med with my dr don’t worry lol). Will the “payment” stay in my insurances info or will the pharmacies notify them that I did not pick the medications up? I don’t want to end up owing the insurance company any money and tbh I don’t even want to pay... I have to choose between financial stability and my mental health, I dont know what to do.30m agoto start off as well, I struggle on many aspects, I know I do, im autistic and I miss alot of social cues but Ive been working on them with a psychologist. the first day at a pastry shop my manager scolded me for using 5oz of milk instead of 4 and said I practically ruined the whole thing. then another time I was cleaning the station because the day was extremely slow and he yelled at me, saying that he never told me to clean the tables and if I was too blind to see that he already cleaned it. I could handle that but then he told me how fast I could do dishes, I was honest and said the question confused me because I never timed myself and he immediately grabbed his watch and told me he w... does anyone else wish that more places would be open 24/7?1h agoThis not only goes for Toronto but also for the entire GTA area, invluding vaughan, mississauga, etociboke, etc. I'm not really talking about like, restaurants, when I say I wish more places would be open all day and night, but rather stuff like gyms, grocery stores, pharmacies, arcades/karaoke, maybe some small stores and food places.... night owls and people who work night shifts are often stuck in this limbo of being awake at night with nothing to do, and sleeping during the day when everywhere is open. I kind of understand that people do need a break from work, and that hiring and scheduling more people to work would be a nuisance. However, I do wish that I could go shopping or do s... [in progress][1,495][Post-apocalyptic/dystopian Horror] Survivor's Macabre: Shane , a short story that takes place ...1h agoHello readers and writers! I request some critique and feedback on a story that I am working on, it is my first story and I'm just making sure that it flows well and works for what it is. This is my first time posting to this specific subreddit so apologies if I have set it up in an incorrect format, hopefully you all may forgive me if so (Small note to go with that: I'm not sure if the word count has to be what I'm aiming for or what it is in its current status, so I did the ladder, sorry again if that's done incorrectly). Please let me know what may work and what may not, I hope anyone who reads this atleast somewhat enjoys it and that you all have a wonderful rest of y... For those who worked in toxic jobs please give me advice?2h agoI got fired from a job I loved a couple months ago because the company couldnt afford to keep us anymore, I immediately began searching and quickly found a job at a pastry shop. I was excited because I dealt with pastries in my past job and was praised for my work. turns out this job has been nothing but **** because of the manager. to start off as well, I struggle on many aspects, I know I do, im autistic and I miss alot of social cues but Ive been working on them with a psychologist. to start, the first day my manager scolded me for using 5oz of milk instead of 4 and said I practically ruined the whole thing. then another time I was cleaning the station because the day was extremely slow... Store I work at is unorganized and highly understaffed.3h agoI got a position as a part-time store associate a few months ago, and as a current student… my manager works with my school hours (for the most part). Except, I **** it so much. Typically, two people are on shift (front store), except when the pharmacy is busy and sometimes my coworker or manager will work at the pharmacy register so I’m left to all the front store activities. All my coworkers are full-time, and mind you I only have like 4 coworkers. They are all very nice, and I understand when they need to fulfill those other tasks. I always overhear customers and they even say it to my face how it’s ridiculous that there’s one person running the front store, and I silently agree w... CVS transfer + working 2 days at old store… advice?4h agoQuick question: I’m transferring to a new store for a slightly higher role & pay but agreed to keep working two days a week at my current store for the next month. Is it better to officially transfer now and be borrowed back for those two days, or wait and fully transfer once that’s done? Looking for what’s best long-term and what’s most common at CVS. Thanks! GoodRX and SingleCare5h agoMy doctor office called in my script to CVS and my cost with insurance isn’t great, so I checked the price at CVS using GoodRX and SingleCare. I tried to use SingleCare and then GoodRX today and the tech advised me the price was even higher (surprisingly the same higher price with either discount program.) I’ve used these programs before at other pharmacies over the years and received the stated discount price with absolutely no problem. Is this a CVS issue or did the tech make a mistake? Heads Up: 4th and Spring Garden Parking Lot5h agoDo not park in the lot adjacent to CVS, and go to CVS or Del Rossi's, or anywhere but the stores that are in that lot (hustlers, popeyes, deli), not even for 30 seconds. They have people sitting in a car watching to see if you go anywhere else, and if you do, they immediately put one of these "windshield barnacles" on your car, basically a suction boot - if you try to remove it yourself, it will crack your windshield. $100 for them to take it off. I saw one guy park there, go to Del Rossi's, but then was coming back to get something from the deli, and they still got him and charged him. All they have is a tiny little sign. The company is called Bob's Sponges. Went in for an interview today…6h agoI’ve been looking for another job. Miraculously, I got a call about my application at Kay jewelry for a part-time position. I had my interview today; I felt like it went well enough (not too bad, but could have been a bit better with my answers). They said they usually start their employees with no experience at about $15 for sales-wise Which leads to my question: I have 3 years' experience in customer service in restaurant work (hosting) and an additional 4 and a half months in retail (pharmacy). They said they would get back to me in 2-weeks since I was the first person to be interviewed. While I won’t actively argue against having a lower pay when it comes to the sales p... The longest positive customer review I've ever gotten.6h agoI (Female, 30, was 25 at the time of this story) work at a grocery store that's like 13 minutes from my house (we live with my mom's parents) and we were told to hand out survey slips to customers so they can give us feedback on how we've done and what we can do to make service better. So a couple days ago, when the new reviews were posted on the board, I happened to notice that I had gotten a really long (and dare I say) positive review from a much older lady last month. This is what it said: "Savvy (OP), the cashier, made a crappy experience great. I already had a horrendous experience at the Pharmacy due to the pharmacist's negligence in filling my perscripti... Are the tech immunizer bonuses only for newly qualified immunizers?7h agoConfused because of the 2nd bullet point because it says “established technician immunizers”. Looking to Sublet my Apartment in Brighton7h agoHello everyone, my name is Brian. Due to financial difficulties, I have to move out of Boston. I’m looking for someone to take over my lease. Below is important information about my space. \-2 Bedroom/1 Bathroom \-The lease is active until September 1st. Im seeking to leave immediately but I’m open to dates if you need more time. The Landlord will ask you if you wish to renew around the Summer around July. \-Rent is 1100$. \-Area is around Washington St. This area has a lot of amazing restaurants such as Jim’s Deli, a bunch of Convenience Stores, CVS, Whole Foods, Taco Bell (just opened), Los Amigos, Thai/Ramen, all within a 5 min walk around each other. \-Parking is available o... I am a Cross Source7h agoI have been having issues with floating and staff pharmacists at my location violating multiple CVS policies. Ultimately, they pull the “I am the pharmacist you are the technician” card and tell me that they can make me clock out and leave. One problem: I don’t work for them. I work with them. I am a cross source, Shift Supervisor Rx. I don’t argue with them, I just tell them “Ok, I’ll leave.” Someone has always ended up intervening. Other than a pharmacist disagreeing with my practice of pharmacy, can they actually make a cross source technician leave, or any technician leave for that matter, if the technician isn’t violating a company policy? The more I work on my project, the more I realize how bad the electric scooter market is online7h agoThis pisses me off so much. This Roinside electric scooter, which, based on the number of reviews, has tens of thousands of purchases, is sitting on Amazon for $265 like it is some unique product, but the exact same scooter shows up on Alibaba for $25 (20 scooters) to $89 (1 scooter). It's insane! This company makes tens of thousands of dollars and cannot even create unique images to stand out. I really hope my extension or some other software will be able to end this practice! Don’t be a pharmacist.8h agoWell, not a community one in Ireland anyway. It’s not a case of if you’ll regret it, it’s when. Long read, be prepared. I know this subreddit is aimed mainly at the industry in Ireland but I’m aware of pharmacists occasionally visiting. \- No career progression, supervising pharmacist possible after 3 yrs, however most revert to support role in split job arrangements due to burnout. Same job. \- No salary scale, newly qualified earn same as retiring (no other profession has such poor outlook) give or take a few € per hour here and there. \- No pension (forced to 1.5% as of Jan 2026), no sick leave, no unpaid leave, no bonus, statutory minimum annual leave (20 days) (vast majorit... I need to get off my chest what my parents have done to me8h agoI need a place to document the pain and torment my biological parents put me through for the past 10 years. I have someone I’ve met at work, old high school friends and other people a part of this who **** people treat others this way, that I’m essentially treated like a dark vader or solo as an emeny to constantly attack and survey, when they made an award for something like kindness kid in elementary school and middle school. Now to be fair, I had someone accused me of a crime at a workplace. Some girl bought me things from stolen money and blamed me for it to others, and got me to smoke pot with her and her friends so she could convince them So with that knowledge of what I did... Another pharmacy is making it hard to get my meds9h agoWell, I am having a good month. I wrote here at the end of December because I was having trouble getting my Cromolyn from Walgreens. I ended up getting it figured out. Now I have another pharmacy issue. Second one in less than a month. I use Capsule and never had issues. I was supposed to get my meds yesterday. One of which I have been out of and desperately need to get back on. They never delivered it. I had no idea what happened, but honestly was scared for my driver more than anything, and I rescheduled it the next day. So, its supposed to be delivered today. It never arrived. I called customer service and they had to close due to "the roads". The roads are fine. We are exp... kindly help me with my upcoming interview please 🥲10h agoHi! I’m so happy I’ve got an interview coming up next week with my local Publix but I’m a bit nervous. Can someone give me some example questions they’d ask? I have pretty much open availability until 8pm everyday (I really hope this isn’t an issue but I’m sensing it is, it’s due to childcare) and have years of retail/customer service experience, and 1 year of grocery retail specifically. I’m a bit nervous because I’m sure they prioritize complete full open availability. I know a lot of people may say not to sweat it and just be myself, but I’ve really been struggling to find a job, this is my first interview after sending out like 50 apps in the past 3 months. I don’... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
