For background, I was on full label Wegovy prescribed through my PCP and paid for with health insurance (in 2025, with CVS Caremark as my PBM, Wegovy was $0 so a no-brainer to start with that). I been on brand nuvaring for a year and insurance (ny medicaid) switch me to parsco generic bc brand name no longer covered. As I understand it, they have no dedicated gas/EV redemption, two of their major cards have the same online grocery (I shop in person) and drug store points, and their rotating categories make me scratch my head. So in December I went to my local CVS and bought a $100 gift card as a gift to my dad. A month later my dad sent me a picture of the gift card saying that after he scratched off the film covering the claim code he noticed that the last few digits were completely missing. Little backstory: I’ve loved all things pharmacy since 2015. I took a pharmacy tech course that year, passed with high scores, but never took the PTCB because I accepted another healthcare job.
