Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyStudying after becoming a pharmacist?6h agoAfter graduating pharmacy school a couple of years ago, I started working at CVS as a pharmacist. I’ve been working for about 2 years now and realized that I do not recall a lot of the information I’ve learned in pharmacy school and during my NAPLEX prep. I do not know a lot of the things my patients ask me and I feel terrible whenever I am not able to answer them with confidence. I want to study and refresh my knowledge but I don’t know where to start lol Do any of my fellow rphs feel the same way? Any tips or study guides I can use to study? How many stores have "Happy to Help" Associates?8h agoI really wish I could come up with the name because a TL in Pharmacy said something about us having them before the remodel last year, but apparently there were these associates who would walk around the store basically taking the full blunt of "hey excuse me can you unlock a case for me" or "can you tell me where this is?" or "excuse me, this app tells me you have the item, where is it? \*Points at phone which is on amazon, com, or Walmart app with the location 400 miles away\*" Our supercenter doesn't have them. Apparently? Our market manager decided we didn't need them. So it's not even a role we can apply to. It's not something we can tra... Research Study: Medicinal Cannabis and Driving: A Survey of Australian Pharmacists8h ago**From the University of Sydney** **1. What is this study about?** We are conducting a research study about medicinal cannabis and driving. The aim of the study is to explore Australian pharmacists’ knowledge, behaviours and beliefs about this topic. We want to understand how pharmacists interpret current drug-driving laws, how they advise patients prescribed medicinal cannabis about driving, and what they believe about the effects of medicinal cannabis and other medicines on driving. The information gained may help inform future education and training initiatives as well as policy discussions.Participation is voluntary. Your choice whether to participate or not will have no impact ... I'm not dead. My social media says otherwise.9h agoI only noticed the notification because I’d taken my phone off vibrate. I’m someone who detests the constant dinging and chiming of a modern smartphone; the only reason I even bought one is because my job required me to upgrade from my flip phone, and so, to try and keep as much of the digital noise out of my daily life, I always have it set to vibrate at most, and usually silent. But I was expecting a call from my doctor’s office to schedule my yearly physical, so, to make sure I wouldn’t miss it, I’d set my notification volume to full blast while I cleaned up around the apartment. When the annoying *Ding-Ding* smashed through the relaxed atmosphere provided by the playful vocal... how to find cheapest price on everyday items when you don't have a car or a costco membership... is this possible9h agoeveryone always says "just go to costco" or "warehouse stores are the cheapest" but i don't drive and i definitely cannot afford a $65 membership right now... is there still a way to not get completely ripped off on basic stuff or am i just stuck paying cvs prices forever i found this site popgot.com and it shows unit prices on amazon and walmart and some other stores and i'm trying to figure out if i can actually save money just through online ordering without needing to physically go anywhere... the walmart pickup option seems like it might work? idk i feel like i'm missing something obvious that everyone else already knows Neosporin in Vietnam9h agoIs Neosporin or a similar antibiotic ointment common in convenience stores or pharmacies in Vietnam? If it’s a different brand, what is it called? If it’s not common, where could I find some in Ho Chi Minh City? Sorry if this is a silly question. Tried googling and didn’t see anything besides online stores to order. Tried looking on Grab and the results were mostly condoms. 😆 I always pack some, and have never needed it while traveling and hardly ever use it at home, but of course the one time I forget, I could use it. Small things10h agoI am grateful for: - shopping/wandering around in stores like CVS/walgreens; I love browsing and finding random deals. Usually everything is more expensive but sometimes I get lucky and my fave laundry detergent is like 4 for $10. Also I just adore looking around in the makeup/skincare section - when I get home from a walk and I’m really sweaty so I take a quick shower then lay on my bed in a towel with the ceiling fan on and I feel so crisp and relaxed - I went into a gas station today to get a refill of my fountain drink and the cashier behind the counter was drinking a slushie and waved me away so I didn’t have to pay (can’t explain it but it was just really sweet) - toasted Engli... Less than 1 year of Foreign work experience10h agoHi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on my Express Entry strategy. I got my PGWP in January 2026 and currently have a CRS score of 494 (with full score on CELPIP). My goal is to apply under CEC. My work experience: • 6 months as a Store Manager (full time) • Currently working as a Pharmacy Assistant (planning to reach 1 full year) I’m expecting to be eligible for CEC by May 2026, but my CRS is not qualified based on the last 507 draw My question is: • Should I enter the pool as soon as I’m eligible in May, or • Would it be better to wait until I complete 1 full year as a Pharmacy Assistant to potentially enter the healthcare category draw. Is it better to jus... Update: OptumRx Reforms & Lawsuits (2026)-Are things actually changing?10h agoI’ve been tracking what’s going on with OptumRx for a while now, and honestly 2026 feels like a turning point. Between the FTC action, a class action wrapping up, and some actual policy changes, there’s more movement than I’ve seen in years. Wanted to put it all in one place for the sub. 1. The FTC is Actually Doing Something The FTC sued all three of the big PBMs (Optum, CVS Caremark, and Express Scripts) over insulin price manipulation through rebate schemes that basically screwed patients at the pharmacy counter. Express Scripts settled in February 2026, and CVS Caremark has a proposed deal on the table now too. That leaves OptumRx as the last holdout still fighting the case. ... Anyone else?…11h agoI’ll make it short. Our pharmacy has two lines. One for those with the app and another for those without it (let’s call it the Others line) How we do it in our pharmacy is one cashier per line…. Ok so. Situation 1: the Others line cashier is with a customer taking a long *** time. The Others line is getting longer. 15 minute goes by and the cashier is with the same customer. I finish the app line and start taking customers from the other line. (Keep this in mind bc I started finishing mine before taking the Others line due to situation 2 lol) I’m taking customers from the Others line, taking, taking, as fast as I can. I call the next customer over and as that others line customer... Check out lanes and touchscreens12h agoI'm looking on advice for how to go shopping by myself, particularly when it comes to the check out. For example, when I go to CVS pharmacy, they have a touchscreen they want you to use for everything. Sign your name, how you want your receipt, do you have coupons, put in the pin number for your credit card. All touch screen. How do I navigate this? The screens don't talk at all and the pharmacists and cashiers just balk at me. I've given up and left the store without my medication more than once. I feel like everything is just touch screens anymore and it's so frustrating. Like its becoming harder to do things independently that would be simpler with real physical b... Candles and Overconsumption13h agoHi All, I just wanted to rant a bit. It bugs me so much that Mac spews on about reusing her candle “vessel” (🙄) therefore, her candles are environmentally friendly. How about making a product that doesn’t already exist EVERYWHERE. I can go to any pharmacy, box store, even thrift store and buy a scented candle. We don’t need more out there. Also, maybe get a job that actually helps people or the environment. I would argue that having a YouTube channel can make people happy by offering guidance, inspiration, or just pure entertainment. So I’m not saying “get a real job”. YouTube is a real job. But Mac has money, ample time, and resources to do something useful and she comes... Severe exhaustion13h agoI'm just getting more and more exhausted every day. I'm a 39 year old mother of an autistic child and I work a full time high stakes high demand sales job. Ever since I picked up mallinkrodt xr and teva ir I'm just getting more and more and more tired. This ***** because my CVS was giving me elite and Sandoz and they were giving me side effects and lack of efficacy so I switched pharmacies. Well, this makes me regret it. Side note: this isn't meant to attack any posters, but I'd like to or expect to see more things like this on here rather than what I've been seeing lately, which have been very strange posts about whether or not stimulants are okay to mi... Getting Around Lisbon on Foot: A Local’s Guide to Neighborhoods, Hills & Directions13h agoLisbon will humble you on day one. You think you know where you are, the sun is out, the tiles are beautiful, and then the street just... ends. Or goes straight up. Or splits into three directions with no signs. Anyone who has tried to give directions in this city knows the look on a newcomer's face when you say "it's downhill from the *miradouro*" and they have absolutely no idea which hill you mean. Walking Lisbon is one of the great pleasures of living here. But it helps enormously to understand how the city is actually laid out before you wander off with Google Maps dying in the heat. **The Hills Are Not Optional** Lisbon has seven historic hills, called *colinas*,... Why are there no department stores in midtown?14h agoSelf explanatory really. Living in midtown, I find the Target at Atlantic station to be the closest discount department store nearby. I’m surprised there isn’t a Walmart or similar store integrated into one of the buildings around here. It’s kind of a pain going to Atlantic station. Edit: for context, I created this post because I needed to buy an HDMI cable today and realized my options for finding one in midtown were seriously limited. I was shocked when I realized my best bet might be a CVS. If the most popular neighborhood in the city can’t supply an hdmi cable, I think that indicates a city planning failure Being fully staffed for the first time this year16h agoMy store was fully staffed this week for the first time this year, and it made such a difference. Everything got done, front end stuff, quick picks, SFS, photos, tags, truck. CVS is just greedy and executives want bigger bonuses. It is just ridiculous Best BB creams for acne-prone skin in Europe?16h ago Hey everyone, I’m trying to find a good BB cream that works well with acne-prone skin, and I’d love to hear your recommendations—especially products that are easy to find in Europe (pharmacies, local retailers, or EU-friendly online stores). My skin type: \- Combination to oily \- Prone to breakouts and clogged pores \- Some redness and visible pores What I’m looking for: \- Non-comedogenic (or at least acne-friendly in your experience) \- Lightweight, natural finish (not heavy or mask-like) \- Light to medium coverage (just enough to even out skin tone) \- Something that layers well over moisturizer + SPF 50 Bonus points if: \- It has calming ingredient... ABD hisse senedi piyasasının 2026 yılındaki performansı16h agoABD hisse senedi piyasasının 2026 yılındaki performansı NYC carry permit holders: pharmacies are a compliance trap that almost nobody talks about16h agoJust published a breakdown of this specifically for NY permit holders. Sharing here because the NYC CCW process is so difficult that losing your permit to an avoidable felony charge would be devastating. The CCIA doesn’t say “pharmacy.” It covers any location providing “health, behavioral health, or chemical dependence care or services.” That sweep includes the Duane Reade around the corner, CVS, Walgreens, the pharmacy in your grocery store, and any Rite Aid. No sign. No warning. Just a felony under Penal Law § 265.01-e if you’re carrying when you walk in. We also cover the Luci angle — city lawyers argued in federal court this week that NYPD has no constitutional duty ... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
