Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS Pharmacygot a corner store you like? tell me about it!2h agoim up in Rogers Park, and only just noticed that joint Variety Foods on Sheridan and Lunt. its nothing special, just what the title implies. corner store with essentials - snacks, milk, bread, eggs, drinks, cigarettes if youre into that. and some sandwiches that are only just \_okay\_. theyve got a little counter with a neon sign for ice cream and coffee, maybe they have that in nicer months? BUT. its well lit and clean and the guys nice enough. its nice to have a convenience store thats not 7/11 or CVS or Walgreens within walking distance. its also east of sheridan, so living on that side, i dont need to cross the street. so i ask the chat, tell me about your corner stores. Parcel arrived warm and without prescription - is this normal???2h agoI found a pharmacy on the mounjaro search engine that as far as I understand is an approved supplier, I did a search of the relevant numbers before ordering and all seems legit The parcel was shipped within a couple of days and I received my prescription today, but I noticed that there was no ice pack included in the package. I had been advised that the medication pen should be kept below a certain temperature before use, so I am concerned about whether it has been stored and transported correctly - should I be?? It did come in a wool bag, but I find the lack of ice pack concerning Additionally, there was no prescription label included with the delivery. From my understanding, this is ... WIBTA if I stopped carpooling with my coworker after she started inviting herself to every errand I run on the way home?3h agome and my coworker Priya live about 10 minutes apart and have been carpooling for maybe 8 months. It works well, we split gas, same general direction, no issues. She's nice, we get along fine. The thing that's been building up lately is this: a few months ago I stopped at a grocery store on the way back and she came in with me, which was fine, I didn't mind. Then it started happening more regularly. I'd say "hey I need to stop somewhere quick" and she'd just get out of the car and come along. Again, fine at first. But now it's kind of every time. And it's not just quick stops. Last week I needed to go to the pharmacy, pick up a package from th... Mills 50 redevelopment plan eyes 7-story parking garage with retail space near downtown Orlando4h agoOBJ article, won't post the link since it's paywalled so not allowed. Orlando’s municipal planning board will hear a proposal June 16 for the development of a seven-story parking garage with ground-level retail space in the Mills 50 district. Public documents show engineering firm Land Design describing the project as being constructed in a single phase while adding 349 “needed parking spaces” to the area. The site is 1212 Woodward St., where a retail center currently operates north of Colonial Drive and between North Mills Avenue and Shine Avenue. A surface parking lot and four other buildings on the block, including a CVS Pharmacy on the corner of Mills and Colonial, w... Several swing states are already seeing heavy political advertising and early polling volatility, indicating a highly competitive race. # 🏛️ Politics * **Election Momentum Builds:** Both major parties are consolidating support ahead of primary contests, with internal divisions s... We taking it or not sparky boys?4h agoPharmacist Got Mad At Me (I'm a FS employee)4h agoI usually work the morning shift at my cvs, so im usually here before the pharmacy opens. At my cvs it typically opens at 9am and people get there a little before that to wait in line. Now the pharmacist at my cvs is usually late like almost every day, now I personally don't care because for one I don't care and second he's not even late by much. But anyway a customer was at the pharmacy and was asking what time they open because it was already past 9, I tell them the pharmacy does infact open at 9 but the pharmacist is sometimes late (he's late all the time but I said sometimes to he polite to the pharmacist) it didn't even cross my mind that saying he's someti... the reality of post-op swelling (why you shouldn't panic on day 3)5h agoeveryone spends months researching clinics, but no one really prepares you for the mental toll of the recovery process. seeing a lot of newbies panicking a few days post-op, so i wanted to break down the realistic timeline of swelling and why you need to stay calm. 1. days 1-2 (the calm before the storm): you will feel tired from the anesthesia, but you might look in the mirror and think, "oh, i'm not that swollen, maybe i heal fast." do not be fooled. 2. days 3-4 (the peak panic): this is when the swelling hits its absolute peak. your face might look like a balloon, your eyes might swell shut, and you will probably look in the mirror and think you got botched. you w... Drowning in FIFA merchandise5h agoHas anybody else's store received a MASSIVE amount of fifa ****?? They send it on truck, with fedex, ups. If I see one more fifa item I may quit my job! No idea where all this is supposed to go. Are we a pharmacy or a RallyHouse???!?!?!!!!! My SM is burning me out5h agoI have worked for wag since 2022 at 3 different stores. All have been a little sketchy but this one is by far the worst. I recently got promoted to IS but every day with my SM is ****. We're the best store in our district but he always acts as if the store is about to collapse. He will scream at people and **** up over nothing. For example one truck day I had injured my back so I was moving a bit slow and I couldn't lift any totes so I was working as much as I could out of stacks. Not a big deal we have had other employees do the same thing due to back injuries but he came into the stock room and screamed at me about how I'm wasting time and that I always waste time because I ... Prescription Adderall please help6h ago\*\* I’m asking if anyone in the area has a doctor or nurse practitioner anyone who doesn’t refuse to refill Adderall if weed is positive. Please direct message me to protect these professionals. \*\* Hi, I’ve lived in Wisconsin all my life until 2022 and I just moved back from Minnesota. I had a doctors appointment today because I needed to get refills on my meds. Then my doctor told me if I smoke weed that I can’t get prescribed adderall. I have been taking adderall since 2019 and never had a drug test done in WI. In MN, I was drug tested but weed was fine. My dad who is also a doctor in WI said weed is normally overlooked and the clinic I went to must be very strict. My doctor ... Spironolactone Manufacturers6h agoQuestion for those currently using Spiro and are seeing progress on your hair journey: what manufacturer is listed on your bottle? The reason I ask is that I've been on Spiro for about five years now through the Hers site, but they finally managed to kick me off of it when I mentioned I wanted to add oral minoxidil and they told me I can't do both (I called them today to ask what their manu was and they mentioned Spiro was discontinued through hers and I didn't keep a single stinking bottle) They told me to use a pharmacy to fill it so I said okay and did that, and the shedding I've gone through over the past four months has been very special This led me to resear... Controlled Inventory6h agoIf you are a two pharmacist store and staff pharmacist, are you expected to stay after your shift to help, or does rx manager normally do it if they are scheduled and working with you that day? ie if you and the pharmacy manager are both scheduled until close, are you expected to stay as well? Would you do it anyway, just to be helpful? [Roblox] [2020s] help me find the grocery store janitor simulator / hangout game7h agoi remembered playing this at 2022 - 2023. it's like this "janitor working in a grocery store" simulator and also a hangout game, but like it has bits of lore of a wider narrative? only distinctive details i remember of them are: \- the game's building style is really regretevator-like (only word i can really describe it) with its main color palette (outside of the greenhouse area, boss's office, and other areas i can't recall) being really blue. like from pastel blue to really dark blue. \- there are npcs in the game, and you can """interact""" with them (coming close to them and a random dialogue would appear). the only npcs i... Swiss OTC Price Index8h agoHoi zäme, I've been working with a lot of price data lately from different Swiss pharmacies and decided to compile a Swiss OTC Price Index. It tracks a basket of the most common over-the-counter medications a Swiss household would typically buy. I think it's a good proxy for how prices for OTC medications in Switzerland fluctuate over time. I picked 30 common products (Dafalgan, Voltaren, Neocitran, Imodium, stuff like that) and tracked what they actually cost at Swiss pharmacies: Amavita, BENU, Coop Vitality, Sun Store, TopPharm, Dromenta, Rotpunkt, and Zur Rose. A few interesting points: * Zur Rose is expensive. I always assumed online = cheaper. Nope. They're more expen... An Original Carnival Horror Story: Everyone Walked Past Her8h agoI had not wanted to go to the fair. That is what I remember most clearly now, because everyone who came by afterward acted like the decision had meant something. Like it was fate. Like Tommy had chosen the wrong night, or I had chosen the wrong ride, or the two of us had walked into that haunted house because some quiet part of me already knew what was waiting inside. But it was not like that. It was September 20th in Hutchinson, Kansas. The last day the fair would be open. The kind of evening that still felt warm at first, but had just enough of a chill underneath it to remind you that summer was ending whether you were ready for it or not. Tommy Clark wanted to take me because he tho... An Original Carnival Horror Story: Everyone Walked Past Her8h agoI had not wanted to go to the fair.
