Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyVons on 25th and Western.2h agoThey’re gonna fire half the staff and lock most of the items up. No clue why we aren’t a bad part of town at all. This is exactly what they did to Ralph’s on western years ago. Same as CVS and the rest of the corporate stores. UPDATE FROM THE OTHER DAY : "This CVS pharmacy tech constantly shows signs of interest in me , a customer. There...2h agoUPDATE! I (F28) saw the pharmacy tech (M21) again today. 20min Beforehand I had just gotten home from a Christmas breakfast with a close friend & before changing into my pajamas, I thought about whether or not I should go back out to give the pharmacy tech a thankyou holiday card if he was working today (I had no way of knowing he was, just intended to take a chance). I was thinking maybe I should just wait instead of going out of my way, since I didn't want to be weird or make it obvious & then guess what? Not even 5 minutes later , The pharmacy sent a text to my phone saying that one of my prescriptions was ready for refill. I decided to take that as a sign to... Pharmacy open on Christmas ?3h agoTrying to send in an antibiotic prescription for a patient, but I cannot find a pharmacy that will be open tomorrow. Checked a bunch of CVS and Walgreens locations, and even though some stores are open it looks like the pharmacies are closed. Anyone have any leads?? Christmas Gift Came Early And I **** It4h agoYou know, this would be comical if I weren't in so much f\*\*\*ing pain. Gather round, children. I have a tale to tell so settle in. It's a doozy. I had a great morning despite not really celebrating Christmas this year, and also despite getting up way too early, but I managed to maintain high spirits. Even brought some goodies I had made to work and stopped and got Christmas cookies on the way just in case there wasn't enough of mine for everyone. I was greeted at work by some delicious donuts that our owner was gracious enough to drop off so of course I traded in the yogurt I had brought for one. All was well for a couple of hours when OUT OF THE MOTHERF...sorry (not sorry)... [M23 M4F] Massachusetts/Online Looking for my player 24h agoHey, I’m Juan! I’m 23, live in Springfield, MA, and work at CVS Pharmacy — so yes, I can totally hook you up with band-aids and awkward small talk at the register. When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging out with my 1-year-old niece (she’s adorable and already cooler than me), cooking something tasty, building model kits, watching anime, or gaming. I’m basically a homebody with hobbies that require snacks and patience. A few facts about this goober: 🍳 Cooking: I like making good food and pretending I’m on a cooking show. I'm still learning but I hope to surprise someone with my cooking one day 😅 🎮 Gaming: Always down for co-op or chill single-player advent... ISO Ear cleaning device4h agoDoes anyone on the island have an ear wax cleaning or removal device? Maybe those little things you stick in your ear with a camera. Or anything really. Was messing around with a qtip and now my left ear feels stuffed and nearly deaf. I’m willing to drive anywhere on the island to possibly purchase one whether you know a pharmacy/store that carries them or you have your own that you’re willing to sell. I (53f) had a great morning despite not really celebrating Christmas this year, and also despite getting up way too early, but I managed to maintain high spirits. My son's with his dad this year so it's just me and my dog and I've been a little bummed about it, but still woke up feelin' good. Even brought some goodies I had made to work and stopped and got Christmas cookies on the way just in case there wasn't enough of mine for everyone. I am on immune suppressing drugs as I have MCTD. Haven't been feeling great. Mild sore throat starting Sunday night, fatigue. Occasional sneezing. Had to nurse my 83 yo mom through her own (different) illness for 2 days. She's on the mend & I am feeling worse and worse as the day wends onwards. I've only had it 1ce before and this is much worse. I had to scramble to find Paxlovid. My regular pharmacy hasn't had it for months apparently. The local Shaw's and CVS didn't have it. Since it is Christmas Eve, I was playing beat the clock: get the script sent in and filled be... Bleeding through a tampon every 45 minutes for almost 2 weeks. Went to the ER. Sent home with no meds because it’s Chr...6h agoI did not want to make this post but I need to vent because I feel completely defeated. For almost two weeks straight, I have been bleeding so heavily that I am soaking one super tampon every 45 minutes. This is not spotting or a heavy period. I am sitting in blood, passing clots, waking up at night to change, and trying to function like this is somehow normal. I kept telling myself to wait it out because women are conditioned to minimize this stuff, but today I finally gave in and went to the ER. For context: • I am 29 • I have endometriosis • I have a Mirena IUD • I get frequent migraines which makes birth control complicated • I am done having kids They did yet another u... WTF is the deal with Robox?6h agoAm I missing something, or is this literally just a game of absolutely mindless activities? My daughter is absolutely f***ing obsessed with Roblox, and begs me to play with her on there all the time. So far, the only thing on there that seems remotely enjoyable, to me at least, is 99 Nights In The Forest. At least that one has some sense of a challenge. Brookhaven - Ok... We're roleplaying... Reminds of playing The Sims online but with less features... Dress To Impress - Don't get me started on this misandry loaded mess... It's as bad as Target... I know my store performs fairly well so I was just curious about the pharmacist bonuses. How much to expect and when is the pay out? Thank you Where Is Joy?8h ago(Poetic Monologue) So, I’m sitting comfortably on a stool (and once again forgot to buy a rope and soap), Trying to focus, to concentrate on joy. Joy… What is joy, according to the majority? Ah yes — the opposite of sadness, cheerful mood, that feeling of happiness… endorphins, dopamine… (I’m starting to feel sick from the fake smiles and the constant “I’m fine”) Ha-ha-ha — suddenly, from the dark, a creepy laugh echoes just for me. So… where do I buy it? At the mall? From an online store? From a prostitute? Maybe a doctor will prescribe a happy little ticket and send me to the pharmacy? Or at a dealer who zips around town on a scooter? Work? Family? Oops — m... TICCI MADDIE THE BODY TICS ARG8h agodisclaimer wrtitten by AIbut plot characters and ideas are my own Chapter 1 — The Stoplight Girl\*\* The first time anyone noticed her, she wasn’t doing anything dramatic. She stood at the corner under a blinking pedestrian sign that never seemed to change fast enough, like the city wanted people to linger in the exhaust and think about their choices. Cars hissed over damp pavement. A late autumn wind scraped receipts and cigarette cellophane across the sidewalk. Someone filmed because that’s what people do now when the world feels slightly off. Not \*dangerous\*, not \*urgent\*—just off, like a note in a song that makes your teeth hurt. She was small enough to be mista... “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946) But is it really?9h agoOne of my favorite films is “It’s a Wonderful Life” and I’m beginning to believe that there’s an alternate take on this film that isn’t often spoken about. The town of Bedford Falls and its people would have been just fine without the existence of George Bailey. I know that contradicts what Clarence the Angel shows us, but I ask you to consider the following: 1. Harry Bailey never falls through the ice and never dies. We see George as a kid, and he is overly confident (as we see when telling Mary about all the skyscrapers he’ll build and the four wives he’ll have) and no doubt he is a leader among his peers. So…why was Harry even sledding on the ice in the first place?... I agree.10h agoI agree with this man. It a pharmacy first (case in point they can’t have customers in unless a pharmacist is present). And for a lot of people in small towns it’s the ONLY option. I don’t have sensitivities but sometimes it does hit you like a punch to the face when you walk in-especially with the beauty boutiques. https://www.princegeorgecitizen.com/regional/shoppers-customer-challenges-pharmacys-perfume-heavy-entrance-11663473 Ideas, experiences, and general advice!11h agoHi everyone. I’ll keep it short and sweet. I have an undergrad degree in exercise science and have been denied left and right for DPT school. In turn, I decided I’m not going to go back to school at all, and any jobs with my degree just isn’t enough for a living salary without going back. So I’m a certified pharmacy tech & have been for 4 years now. I changed from CVS to a outpatient hospital setting. So I have a wide range of experience from well you know how CVS is, and now at my current position data entry, insurance verification, etc. lots more learned. I’m wondering, without going back to school, is there any paths I can take to take it further and get a good salary? I... Disposing of expired meds in Philly - why police not pharmacy?11h agoTLDR: Seems expired prescription medication should be taken the police, not pharmacies. Why is this? UPDATE: Seems the answer is “because capitalism”. As I feared. \*\*Note: I’m NOT asking for help on what to do, this is purely a question of curiosity and trying to understand in the context of my new home city.\*\* Hi everyone. I have some expired prescription medication to get rid of. I’m from the UK and over there you just take them to any pharmacy, but here it seems the main option is to take them to police. My local CVS said some locations take them but you have to call ahead to make sure they have space in their receptacle. Does anyone know \_why\_ pharmacies don’t all a... Christmas11h agoCVS not paying for lunch for employees on Christmas Eve anymore is asinine. You’re telling me they can’t buy a store lunch after cutting multiple hours during Christmas? Meanwhile I’m sure all the higher ups got bonus’ Christmas parties and time off with their families and we’re all treated like scum of the earth. Sanders Slams Private Equity Scrooges Ending Paid Holidays for Walgreens Workers11h ago“While the rich get richer, workers are struggling, and your decision to cut workers’ paid vacation is making the problem worse.” Independent US Sen. Bernie Sanders on Tuesday urged the private equity firm that recently acquired Walgreens to reverse its decision to strip hourly workers at the second-largest US pharmacy chain of paid days off on Christmas and other major holidays. After Sycamore Partners finalized its $10 billion purchase of Walgreens in late August, the pharmacy chain—now headed by CEO Mike Motz—eliminated paid holidays for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Workers were notified of the move, which was first ... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
