I have worked at Hannaford for almost 4 years now and I have been trying to apply for the pharmacy tech position about 8 different times now. I currently work in the front end as a service leader. When I did not get the position the first time, the ARM told me that they just picked someone with more experience and that the next time, they would pick me for sure since I was a good worker and had a good basis in knowing my medicine (nursing student), which the said wasn’t necessary but definitely made me stand out. Hello! I have a prescription I pick up at CVS every month. The cost with insurance is $150, but with a discount card I pay $25. My issue is, it seems like a lot of work for them to apply the discount card. First, they ring it up through my insurance and tell me it’s $150, then I ask to use a discount card and they transfer me to another person who adjusts the price, then I go back to the original person for check out and they have to ring it up all over again. It seems like a difficult process for them, especially when they’re busy. My question is, is there a way to make this easier for them? What should I say to them to avoid this long process every month?

I just need someone else who will understand my struggle lol. Went through the CVS pharmacy drive through yesterday and have been having an AWFUL flare up for the past month & a half. The woman working there was an absolute angel and so sweet. We were talking and I was joking around with her but I know my eyes were extremely red and teary, and because my eyes were watering I had the sniffles too. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but can companies like CVS get in trouble if they expect their employees to show up during a state of emergency? Is that against the board of pharmacy? Offering hotels & uber is a bit ridiculous, considering that they’re losing money (not that I care about them losing money😂) by paying us when we can just close as a whole. Someone should plan a strike.

Whats a good tape to use for tucking that i can find at my local target/cvs stores? Only looking for tape that can be bought locally, please no online stores. Im currently using Nexcare Absolute Waterproof First Aid Tape but it causes my skin to blister if i wear it for more than a couple hours. Ive also tried the nexcare cloth tape but it wont stick.

Hello! I have a family member who works at CVS going on 30 years. They work very very hard but they still are on a h hourly wage that is very poor. Anything they can do to get recognition for a livable wage besides becoming a store manager? They are a pharmacy tech. It makes me so sad because they refuse to leave because they feel they are too old and they are scared to ask management for a raise.

Hey all. we use CVS Caremark for mail order supplies for my t1d daughter. I got a recommendation from a coworker to switch to Amazon pharmacy. Has anyone done this? I’m assuming prices are the same with my insurance but I would be looking for better ordering experience. The CVS app and back end systems are truly terrible and I’ve had to call support too many times to fix simple order issues. I once had a critical supply hung up indefinitely because it was in the same shipment as an item I canceled. After several calls and assurances that it was “about to ship” I asked them to break apart the order and that finally did it. Maddening. EDIT to add I’m in the US.

I live in Seminole Florida and have several health and mental health conditions. My new insurance starts on February 1st (I've been uninsured since October last year and it has been difficult :/). I have several options to choose from for coverage and ik basically torn between a chain that is close to my house (CVS, WALGREENS, WALMART ETC). OR and independent pharmacy like lake Seminole pharmacy to fill prescriptions. I'm exhausted from ruminating on this decision and just need advice. Also...

64M SW 240 GW to be determined. My primary care physician wrote a script to my grocery store pharmacy (Safeway) who told me I was the first customer for the pill form, and they had to order it!!! My main focus is weight loss for arthritic joints and overall inflammation. I walk daily and should add some weight/resistance work that I want to do from home. Most concerned about protein goals to avoid muscle loss in the beginning. Open for advice and suggestions. Looking for a tolerable to good shake that doesn't taste like chalk. Thanks in advance.

purchased this butter from our local corner store/pharmacy (Canada - shoppers drug Mart - no name brand). Opened it and it's completely white, no yellow colour, like the colour of cream cheese. it's also very flaky and browns a lot in the pan when used for greasing. Anyone know what could be wrong with this? Is it missing fat content or something?
