Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyIf pharmacists require many years of school, why do so many CVS pharmacies have such bad reviews about dispensing issues...3h agoThis is a genuine question - I’m not trying to **** on pharmacists. Maybe this is a me thing or a regional thing or a CVS thing, or maybe some people also have a similar experience. I had a question up earlier asking if pharmacists required special training or formal education because I thought it might have been more akin to retail level work/entry level, as I did have a pharmacist (or pharmacy technician? Not sure the difference) accidentally give me someone’s heart medicine, then call me and try to get me to come back to the store to return it. That and a few other CVS times where I was given wrong medication (labeled incorrectly) so I was genuinely curious. The most important step is to track your blood sugar levels. The right blood sugar monitoring device provides you with an understanding of how your food, activities, and medications affect your body. With this information, you can take care of your blood sugar. But there are so many options available in the market that it can be confusing to choose the right device. Some machines give accurate results, while others may give numbers that are off by a little or a lot. That’s why it is important to know how to choose the Best Glucometer in India, a device that gives reliable and consistent readings every time. * **Accuracy and Consistency** The most imp... On the Inside of a Clinical Trial6h ago🧪 Sharing my experience in the AMBALS Ambroxol clinical trial, along with exploring what trials capture, what they miss, and why we need to capture more data from people living with ALS/MND. # [On the Inside of a Clinical Trial](https://curalysis.com/blog/on-the-inside-of-a-clinical-trial) About ten days before my first appointment at the MND clinic, a neurologist had given me what was described as [a likely diagnosis of ALS](https://curalysis.com/blog/have-you-heard-of-als). He was quite certain, but referred me to the specialist clinic for formal confirmation and ongoing care. Those ten days were not spent waiting quietly. I went deep online. I read everything I could find. Standard... David’s Shield Review: My Blast Proof Experience7h agoThere is a kind of fear that does not scream. It sits quietly in the background and taps you on the shoulder when you least expect it. It shows up when the lights flicker during a storm and you feel that small rush of panic, even if the power comes back in two minutes. It shows up when you hear about cyberattacks, grid threats, or another “unusual” outage in a major city and you realize how dependent your home really is on invisible systems you do not control. It shows up when you look at your family at the dinner table and think, “If something happened tonight, would I actually know what to do?” Most people push that feeling away because it is uncomfortable. They distract themselv... First-Time Parent FAQ: Planning a Trip to Japan8h agoIf this is your first time bringing kids to Japan, you’re probably wondering what daily life will really feel like. Here are the questions most parents ask before their trip. **Is Japan stroller-friendly?** In major cities, yes, overall. Train stations have elevators, but they are sometimes tucked away and require extra walking. Older stations and smaller towns may have more stairs. Sidewalks in busy areas can be narrow. A lightweight umbrella stroller makes moving through stations and crowded streets much easier. Some parents prefer a carrier for short station transfers. **Are trains manageable with kids?** Yes, and this surprises many families. Trains are punctual, clean, and well-... Hiring process for CVS.11h agoRecently I went in for an interview at cvs to start my career in pharmacy tech ever since completing a course at my local community college, after the interview, the interviewer told me that I’d be contacted in two weeks. It’s nearing three weeks now and I still haven’t heard anything back, and whenever I call I end up waiting 5-10mins for someone to pick up just to hear that “the manager is not here” or “I’ll leave a note for when they get back” and still nothing, it even says “in process” when I sign in to view the application on workday. I’ve applied many times to different cvs stores and this is the farthest in the I’ve gotten in the hiring process after a year... Absence & Tardiness Policy?12h agoSo I started working in the pharmacy in early Jan of 2025. Every so often I would be 10+ minutes late, and worked myself into a final written warning in August. After that, I had a conversation with my manager and RxOM about how I have trouble falling asleep and waking up. Long story, but they encouraged me to see a doctor- and I eventually was prescribed a medication that has been working VERY well (yay). My attendance became SIGNIFICANTLY better, and I've often even come in early- and picked up lots of shifts when almost all of our techs were sick for a week PLUS. I agree to stay later often (partially because I need the money, but also I don't mind staying later). Skip to today... Next Guitar - Tele vs. SG13h agoHi, I’m getting back in the hobby since being away in 2018 due to work, relationships, etc. I started way back in 2003 during high school, never took lessons, am making this my main hobby instead of gaming. My collection is mostly Strats of various quality (MIAs, MIMs / deluxe to CVs) and Les Pauls (Epi & Gib). I recently got a Classic Vibe Telecaster, and I’m really liking the unique sounds, aesthetics, and feel. The only complaint I have is that when I use a digital amp, there’s a lot of static buzz, but that’s pretty minor, it’s a grounding issue since anytime I touch the bridge or knobs, or strings, it goes away. I’ve played an SG in stores, Epis and Gibson,... Better than GPS16h ago**My sense of direction (or why you should just trust me)** I’ve already mentioned that I’m good at finding my way and reading maps. Here are a few stories where I proved it to people who doubted me. **Story 1: Sweden and the cursed GPS** When we moved to Norway, we used to play a game called “remember the road”. A year and a half later (I was nine), we went to Latvia to visit Grandmother for Christmas and New Year. On the way back, in a big Swedish city, our GPS broke down. It started mirroring the map, changing the route mid-drive, sending us in circles. Then the phone died completely. At one red light, while we weren’t even moving, it suddenly said “recalculating rou... Money saving tip:use cvs coupons to try products basically for free17h agoIf you have a free points account with cvs you will get coupons monthly basically for doing nothing. Some of these are just pure cash and others are like 3 dollars off 9 dollars of make up etc. Yesterday I bought 18 dollars worth of make up for 2 dollars with just these coupons I spent nothing to get. They also let you combine them so they add up. Today I have another 8 dollars on my account because that purchase gave me 4 dollars and I have another two coupons to use. You can also use these online and just pick up the items in store. It’s kind of magic. Lease takeover room in shared flat with private bathroom17h ago$2,185/month. Cvs pharmacy tech18h agoHey guys, this is my first time writing here and I have a question. I’m a certified pharmacy technician, and I recently started my job at CVS Pharmacy. They told me I need to stay at Pick-Up for about six months, but I’ve noticed that no one wants me in Production because they think I’m too clumsy and that I ask too many questions. My store manager also told me that I look stressed and should be calmer. But I’ve noticed that when I’m busy, some of the other techs ask me silly questions like, “Oh, you look so stressed,” or “Are you okay?” and then they laugh. These kinds of comments make me very uncomfortable. Also, our CVS is the busiest one in the city, and every day we ... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
