Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyMY MENTAL HEALTH IS BEING AFFECTED1h agothe pressure of knowing every customer interaction causes me to not finish my job is a direct result of the policy of this company. “Sorry ma’am you will need to find your own clear lipgloss.” “Sorry sir, I’m 4 customers behind, I could help you choose a razor in about 10 minutes.” “ I can’t walk your items to the car as I’m alone in the store.” Results; complaints online . CVS YOU CREATED THIS SO DONT you Fin DARE ASK WHY SERVICE SCORES Are down I am in a play each day; we act like we give a care. We act like we care about customer needs, we act like we’re counting, we act like we are ordering new items, we pretend to be a legit business. We are a front for s... Salvaging a store2h agoBeen with the company 10 years and just became a licensed pharmacist on the east coast the end of last month and the first store I've been sent to float to is in a rural area with a handful pharmacies. The particular store I've been sent to has existed longer than the other pharmacies so it's gets a ton of volume. Problem is the store was left a mess by the previous RXM who did absolutely nothing but cause trouble for the techs, who all left but one, the store manager, who is currently on a medical leave and the staff pharmacist who quit a week ago. My first week there was vaccines left out of the fridge, invoices not put up and and RXs not filed since August when the RXM who ... Insurance *****3h agoJust a very brief rant as I've been struggling to sort out an unexpected hitch in my insulin regemine which insurance has caused. I've had an InPen for over a year. I used Fiasp until the pharmacy said they no longer had it, so I switched to Novolog. After the first 5 cartridges were used I tried to refill it and it was no longer covered. Eventually I discovered (it was never communicated to me) that only Humalog is covered now, so I got a prescription for Humalog. When I got home I discovered the Humalog cartridges are for something called a Humapen, and don't fit my InPen. After a lot of digging and finally messaging CVS I discovered there are TWO InPens, one for Fiasp and ... Incomplete Addresses on CVS Pharmacy orders!!4h agoThree different CVS Pharmacy jobs this week where the unit number was missing at apartment complexes- You would think CVS would understand the importance of a full address and we’re not getting paid extra to compensate for the wasted extra time it takes making calls or texting!! Also what has been your experience with bags getting taped closed on residential delivery CVS pharmacy jobs? I thought it was a requirement and see tape with printed label over the tape most of the time but definitely not always and the inconsistency on CVS’s part is bugging me- I’ve asked for tape before I leave the pharmacy counter but I’m not looking to waste anyone’s time if it’s considered option... ADHD medication-friendly pharmacies LOCAL to Portland proper?5h agoI am so fried from calling every major pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens, Safeway) trying to see if my prescription for my Vyvanse is in stock. Has anyone had any good luck with any smaller pharmacy? I REALLY dont want to drive out to some 1st ring suburb and deal with traffic so Im trying to stay within portland proper. Thanks! Dead for me or for everyone?5h agoI’m in Oklahoma and it used to be good in some areas, but since yesterday it is dead for me. I reached Diamond on Friday night and I’m not getting any batches at all. I’ve tried a bunch of things but nothing is working yet. What’s weird is I’m seeing all the regular stores—like Kohl’s, CVS, Walgreens—showing up as red hotspots on the map, so there’s no way it’s actually slow. I honestly think something might be wrong with the server. I haven’t even seen one order with Priority Access since yesterday. Logged in 3 hours ago and I’m literally sitting in the Costco parking lot watching nothing but trash-pay orders pop up. Where to buy a solid pharmacy uniform for work5h agoI start my first civilian lab job soon, and honestly, I never thought much about work clothes before. My military days made outfits simple every morning, but now I actually need a real pharmacy uniform for this new role. I didn’t even know where people bought them. My first stop was a big local store near me. They had a few options, but colors sold out fast. The pants fit well, but the tops felt stiff, and I wanted something softer since long shifts can feel rough. After that, I checked a few thrift shops. I found one pharmacy uniform that looked almost new, and the price was great. The sizing was tricky though, but trying different pieces helped me figure out what styles I liked. Friends ... Where to find a reliable pharmacy uniform without overspending5h agoI start my new tech role soon, and I’m trying to sort out my pharmacy uniform before day one. I thought it would be easy, but every store near me either had the wrong shade, the wrong cut, or price tags that made me sigh out loud in the aisle. So now I’m crowdsourcing some wisdom. I began with Walmart since people kept mentioning it. Their scrubs fit okay, but stock was thin, and colors changed fast. Then I tried a thrift shop and found one pharmacy uniform that actually looked new. The size worked, but the pants were a bit long. Still, the price made it worth it. My friend suggested checking uniform shops in town. The fits were great, but the cost made me hesitate. I only need one pharm... Does anyone know if you can use instacart to pick up a prescription?5h agoSo I recently had to go to Urgent Care to reveal I have a sinus infection. The doctor prescribed me some medications. Picking them up is not really an option at the moment. Does anyone know if instacart will pick it up from the pharmacy at CVS for instance? I can't seem to find any options for it in the app but I'd imagine if they're willing to deliver groceries and other merchandise then prescriptions shouldn't be an issue. Question about pharmacy uniform for new techs5h agoI start my new job soon and feel confused about the pharmacy uniform process. Some places give uniforms on day one, while others want you to order them. I’m trying to figure out what to expect before showing up. I want to know if they give a starter set first. I also want to know if buying extras later is normal. Many techs seem to mix company scrubs with their own. That makes choosing a pharmacy uniform a bit tricky for beginners. Comfort matters to me more than anything. Some people say the men’s scrubs fit poorly. Others say women’s tops feel better and have more pockets. I’m not sure if those differences show much on shift. I don’t want to pick something that looks odd. I just ... Is it a problem to wait in the break room for someone to pick you up?7h agoOn Friday I was scheduled for a half shift and at the end of my shift I decided to wait in the break room for someone to pick me up. Since the person picking me up has kids that get out of school a time close to when I got off I had to wait for a while, I ended up waiting for 30 minutes which was roughly around the time the PM and morning shift comes back from lunch. I made sure I didn’t bother anyone or took up much space and offered my seat to front store employees if they went on lunch. My PM comes back asks me if I “wanted to work in the pharmacy” I asked if she needed any help but she said no and just said she felt like I’m “there for no reason” Does anyone have experience with Zeelab pharmacy?8h agoMy sister got few products from Zeelab pharmacy including salicylic face wash, sunscreen and moisturizer and they were dirt cheap...Is it sus? or are they genuine? they claim to remove the middlemen between B2C which makes them sell at cheaper price. For eg. the sunscreen 100 gm was for 150 and moisturizer 60gm was for 50rs. unbelievable. 😭 Doctor didn’t receive no request from CVS and thus, they didn’t prescribe it.8h agoI received a voice mail asking for medication (not controlled/ regular maintenance med). And it is waiting for the Prescriber to send renewal. When I explained the situation, patient goes ‘ Oh. I called the doctor. They said they didn’t get any notification from CVS’ 🥹 What kind of doctor needs a renewal request from a pharmacy to prescribe a prescription? What type of patient is **** enough to not know that their prescriber doesn’t need anything from pharmacy to prescribe a prescription? I was left amazed ! All I am saying here is ‘Patients should demand their doctors’ office for their meds like they are so entitled towards us at Pharmacy’. Bonjesta Pharmacy Recommendations11h agoI’m in the US. Bonjesta has been helping me quite a bit more than Diclegis, but I am having a very difficult time getting it filled at my local CVS. They need to reorder it each time, it takes a few days, and they only order 15 pills. I take two a day so this becomes a headache every week. Is there a pharmacy you’re aware of that keeps Bonjesta in stock or mail order pharmacy anyone has good luck getting this from? Emotionally immature mother14h agoHey y’all, I really don’t know what to do anymore. My mother is driving me crazy. She’s the most stubborn, emotionally immature person I’ve ever met. She and I butt heads all the time because I’m someone who’s reflecting on myself constantly and I’m pretty empathetic towards others. She on the other hand is not. She’s someone who would sacrifice herself to help others, she will go to work even when she’s sick and she’s always taking care of others rather than herself. I think it’s her love language? The other day at breakfast she wouldn’t even let me pour her a cup of coffee because she wanted everyone else to have their coffee first. My relationship with my dad is ... You pay us $1000 to watch our cats while we’re on vacation14h ago“heavily discounted rent” Solution?15h agoAbout 3 weeks ago our store introduced a safety measure to get the money from cash office to pharmacy, vice versa. The solution was a rolling safe that weighs at least 100lbs. It’s the equivalent of doing sled pushes. It’s ridiculous. All for 3 cash bags because we only have 3 registers. Everyone is fed up, we have a few technicians ignoring the rules and stuffing the bags in between their smocks to get away without having to push the cart which is against protocol. And to make things worse, prevention loss and store managers have made their way to the pharmacy to lecture everyone. it’s physically demanding and I’d like to know if anyone else has this measure in place and if there ar... My site is fighting for all of us.16h agoWe as technicians are underpaid nation wide, unappreciated, and overworked. It’s been very stressful being a part of this as CVS is rich and powerful. But we will overcome. And it’ll make waves. how to pick a vitamin d supplement without overthinking it16h agoGo for d3, not d2. Oil-based beats dry tablets since d is fat-soluble, so softgels or drops land better with food. And dose wise, most folks sit fine at 1k–2k iu daily in low-sun months. 5k iu is a thing, but it’s more of a know-your-labs move. Easiest path is to get a 25-oh d test, pick a dose, recheck in a couple months. Look for third-party tested, non-gmo, clear mcg and iu on the label, and a brand that lists the actual oil. Coconut or mct oil is great for absorption. And take it with your main meal so you actually remember it. Softgels vs drops is just preference. Just store them cool and out of direct light. Other than that, k2 is optional. Focus more on protein, calcium from d... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
