Age Discrimination at CVS4h agoI was hired last week as an Operations Manager at CVS. On Wednesday I was told in a basic way, by the store manager that I got the job and to come in on Thursday at 3:00 to finalize. I got there at 3:00 and was stood up by the manager. On Friday I was told I was hired and they were sending me an offer letter, but being the weekend, I might not receive it until Monday. Monday I spoke to her and everything had changed and I’d be working at a different store. Today, they “offered” me an overnight position with a warning that this person would have to unload a truck, weekly, at about 3:00 am that would have up to 900 pieces. She said she’d have the store manager call me…🕦 I bel... I know some small corner stores have fake cigarettes, but do they have fake beer?5h agoI have had some corona and modelo recently from some stores and I can't figure out why they would taste so different unless they were fake, CVS and 711 tastes normal Covergirl Cosmetics as low as $0.29 at CVS! Buy Online Pickup In Store6h agoThe stuff nobody tells you about U.S. healthcare until you learn the hard way6h agoI wish someone sat me down years ago and explained how this system actually works, because most of what I know isn’t from reading articles, it’s a mix of my own experiences and watching friends, coworkers, and relatives get blindsided by bills that made no sense. First thing — “in-network” doesn’t mean cheap. It just means the provider has a contract that prevents them from billing you absolute nonsense, but you still pay full prices until your deductible is met, which can easily be thousands. I once learned the hard way that an in-network primary care visit was still $150 because it went toward the deductible, not the copay I assumed existed. And specialists? Sometimes even when... Literally cannot stand routine6h agoI can’t stand routines. I literally need to mix things up extremely often or I feel anxious and depressed. If I walk to the store I’ll take a different route going home. When I could work more hours I deliberately worked 2 part time jobs just so I wouldn’t have to go to the same place every day. I pick up my meds from multiple different pharmacies and I’ve gone grocery shopping at every supermarket within a reasonable distance. I’ve tried to stick to schedule when it comes to getting stuff done on my to-do list and it never works. Now I just do stuff whenever the mood hits in no specific order. Even if it’s 2am. Sometimes I leave my home with no plans just to see where my... Does angioplasty costs 6.5L+?7h agoSo my father is currently admitted Apollo greams road chennai. The hospital has quoted around 6L+ as of one day. They had planted stent for one block and blast for another. Initially i have mentioned it was insurance, Is the price inflated because of that. Now my insurance got rejected because of 90 days clause and today is 82nd day. How do I move forward with this, is the quoted price is right. Also is anyone from here from TN, can you help me with kalaingar kaapitu thittam scheme if i apply now will it work? Things I love about America7h agoI'm from Europe, my husband is American. We live in europe as of now, but I'm in usa quite frequently. These are things I love about Usa - having air conditioning is the norm. I don't like the heat it makes me irritable and the fact that there's no ac here in Europe in many hot places drives me nuts. So many hotels and restaurants in hot summer heat with no ac I just don't wanna bother going on vacation until September - cashiers don't throw your groceries like they're mad at you. They even bag it for you. In my country we adopted German system where they fling your groceries at the speed of light. It got worse with years and sometimes gives me anxiety. ... Scaling with Quick Commerce: Are Business Models That Drive USA Growth beyond the 2025?8h agoHey r/growmybusiness, Quick commerce in the USA is blowing up 30-minute deliveries for groceries, pharmacy, gourmet food, beauty, electronics, you name it. The race is now about who can scale hyperlocal fulfillment profitably. I’m trying to figure out which business model actually works best at scale: Pure marketplace (take commission on every order) Direct retailer subscriptions / SaaS fees Hybrid (low subscription + small commission) Pay-per-order with zero upfront Recently came across Q-Commerce platform they are doing quick commerce specifically for the US market with: No heavy capex (you don’t build your own dark stores) AI demand forecasting + automated batch routing Native inte... Is Quick Commerce the Future for Small Retailers in the USA? 30-Min Delivery Real Talk8h agoSmall business owners quick commerce is hitting the USA hard imagine fulfilling grocery or pharmacy orders in under 30 mins via dark stores and mobile apps. But does the business model (loyalty programs with inventory) actually work for independents? Found a platform tailored for niches like bakeries with real-time dashboards and returns automation. Are you testing quick commerce yet? What's holding you back costs, tech or logistics? Let's discuss! Prescription Filled Early -Did Not Pickup9h agoI changed pharmacies from Express Scripts to CVS. My doctor sent the 4 prescriptions to CVS, I called and told them "Not to fill." I had just renewed my 90 day supply 3 weeks earlier and did not need the meds, at that time. CVS filled and billed for the meds, anyway. This morning I got an EOB that states 2 of them were filled and insurance paid even though I did not pickup. Now, it's time to renew. Where do I start to fix this? Who will I have the best luck with. CVS or Wellcare? I THINK I HAVE FOUND THE BEST STOCK( WITH DIVIDEND)10h ago# What makes "Realty Income" special(Ticker: O) * **Monthly income — not quarterly**: Realty Income is famously nicknamed “The Monthly Dividend Company.” That means you get dividend payments every month — a rare feature among publicly traded REITs. * **Long, proven track record**: As of late 2025, Realty Income has paid **665 consecutive monthly dividends** without interruption. * **Dividend growth over decades**: Since its NYSE listing in 1994, the company has raised its dividend repeatedly — the increases add up over time. * **Stable, predictable cash flow thanks to triple-net leases**: Realty Income owns a huge portfolio of commercial properties (stores, pharmacies... *Do not* want Royal Mail to deliver to my home address10h agoFor privacy reasons, don't want it delivered to my home address. Just wondering what options there are with Royal Mail - is there a way to have it delivered somewhere I can collect? I asked one pharmacy and they said they don't offer that option. Just racking my brains or do I have to filter by DPD pharmacies or in-store pharmacies only! Sri Lanka’s wellness shelves surprised us, is anyone else seeing this opportunity?11h agoI visited Sri Lanka recently with no agenda other than taking a short break, and something kept catching my eye everywhere I went supermarkets, pharmacies, even airport stores. The wellness shelves felt… empty. Not literally empty, but empty of anything modern, intentional, or trustworthy. No clean branding, no youth-focused products, nothing that felt like the new wave of wellness you see in other countries. Just random imports and old-school bottles surviving simply because there isn't much choice. It reminded me of how India looked just before the wellness boom. A market waiting for someone young and hungry enough to build something people actually trust. I run a wellness bran... PUTTING UP PHARMACY IN EXISTING GROCERY STORE15h agoHello po. Question lang po. Is it okay kaya to put up pharmacy in existing grocery store but at the back part? Different permit and name sana if ever. Sana may pakapagsagot huhuhuhu. Baka kasi hindi pwede. Good pharmacists leaving in flocks16h agoWord spreads like wildfire when WAG loses talent in my city. Well just recently, the top performing store in our city lost their golden boy to a teaching/medical university hospital. Corporate should’ve capitulated, but oddly enough, they didn’t. You and I both know what’s going on haha. “Customers with higher support needs can just go elsewhere,” is probably what Sycamore is thinking EZ short term money loop: 1. Keep applying duct tape to leaks and inefficiencies 2. When people quit, just hire more at below market wages 3. Line goes up 🤓 👉📈 WAG knows recent grads need jobs and they’re willing to take basically any recent graduate. Same is true for Pharmacy Techs. ... CVS vs. Walgreens17h agoHello, I have previously worked as a shift lead at Walgreens which forced me to become Licensed Pharmacy Technician. I left the industry completely in 2022 to become a truck driver and have just reinstated my PT license. I have reached out to many places trying to find work. Of course CVS and Walgreens are the first to reach out. Walgreens is even promoting in job ads that they prefer former employees so I interview with them tomorrow and waiting on CVS RxM to reach out for proposed interview. My question is has anyone worked for both or what are your opinions on the experience with where you have worked?? I notice CVS has better hours vs Walgreens (they close earlier and start a little ear... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
