Everyone says Costco is the best retail pharmacy to work at. Maybe my store is different but every time I walk by the pharmacy, it seems very busy with a line. The pharmacists always look stressed and running around like in any other retail pharmacy. I read they don't even get an employee discount, just a free membership which is like $65. Why is it so great? It seems like grocery stores or even some Walmarts are less stressful?

I just had to come here to say I see what you ladies mean when you talk about how some of these pharmacies treat us like we are doing something wrong or just giving us a hard time in general. I'm pretty new to Adderral and started on the 10mg XR and eventually moved to the 25mg XR. This same pharmacy has filled my meds for months now, including my Lexapro for anxiety. Hey all. I'm an RXom. Today, I walked into the pharmacy, and first thing my store manager says is, "If we do not meet our vaccine goal, you will be replaced." This is complete bs. I can ask every single person if they want to get a vaccine, if they say no, there is nothing I can do about it. I remind my staff to ask people if they want vaccines, I put on red stickers on the leaflets, etc. What the **** else can I do?? I voice those feelings and concerns to my SM in the past, but her response is usually, "I don't care how it gets done, it has to be done." I've started to just say silent around her. Here’s my debrief of a 16 day trip along the golden route from Tokyo (5 nights)  -> Kyoto (3 nights) -> Osaka (4 nights) -> Hakone (2 nights) -> back to Tokyo (2 nights) in April. Let me explain. I was trying to get a job at a CVS pharmacy near me and I called this one store. The tech was extremely helpful and they were hiring. The manager posted the job application online for me to apply and they even called me back to give me the rec number. I applied and not even a day later it says I’m no longer under consideration. I called to verify the status and the tech said she’d check with the manager. I called again a couple days later and the manager wasn’t able to see my application at all nor pull up declined applications.
