As a current CPht student with my permit.. I have to ask. Should I go the retail route or inpatient pharmacy route? I used to work as a pharmacy clerk with CVS & it wasn’t bad… all things considered I was a clerk then so I have no idea what the tech’s experience was. I ask this because all I see are HORROR stories on here about retail pharmacy. A few other students in my program have recently started at their local Walgreens working as a tech with their permits… so far I haven’t heard any complaints just an “it’s not bad”. Just wrapped up 8 days in Phuket with my wife and wanted to share things we genuinely loved, things we didn’t, costs, and some mistakes that might help others. Also, please do let me know if I can cut down costs more in future trips. Phuket prices are very very random. I was looking for automating my job application process across company portals. Could someone take a look at this let me know if they think the below thing would work? Just an FYI for anybody that wants to grab some. I know not everybody is a big fan of the Insta Dri, but I mostly love them. This line is a gorgeous holo for a drug store polish. I was randomly polish shopping, and they popped up on clearance at Sally's Beauty and CVS for $4 a bottle. I checked Amazon, and they have them for that price as well. I'm sad because I assume that means the line is discontinued, but I did grab a couple of my favorite, the Chrome Zone, and a few others.

My company gives certain amount for medical reimbursement. I had some amount left in tht wallet. There is one pharmacy in my company, in tht one pharmacist suggested to buy products from tht store and he will make false medical bills and prescription so tht will get approved to claim the amount. My friend did the same but I felt tht it was wrong. She said, "Ye to bohot log karte hai yaar, apna hi Paisa hai. Tum bhi aisa hi karlo, mahine ka groceries ka kharcha Bach jayega.." Anyone know any good pharmacies/cosmetic stores with decent discounts in islamabad? I know D. Watson in G-13 give 5% off medicines, and D. Watsonin Scheme 3 gives around 10% on cosmetics. Also heard different D. Watson branches have different discount ranges depending on location. Can u guys help any Drop locations + typical discounts if you know any.

I have been on zepbound since 2024. All of last year my copay was $25 with the savings card and CVS. Eventually I hit my max OOP and it was free for the rest of the year. This year, same insurance, same pharmacy, deductible met many months ago - it’s coming up as $300 with the savings card. Now I can switch to express scripts for $300 for 3 months which I’ll do if I have to. But how do I get the evoucher applied again? CVS is listed as one of the pharmacy’s participating.

I recently had a pharmacist at a hospital pharmacy reach out to me about a job opportunity. They want me at their pharmacy, but the guilt I feel for leaving my team is so strong. Walgreens as a company has completely gone under. I feel like a criminal with the bag checks and they’re micromanaging and watching our time like a hawk. Significant budget cuts. As title says, the CVS pharmacy technician program is no longer accredited in the state of California. Such a shame to the colleagues that have been waiting to be licensed and to those who were planning on becoming a pharmacy technician through the program. Hopefully CVS does something about this. (They won’t).
