CVS PHARMACY Locations

I will be having a trip with my family (and to visit some members of family) for a little over a week. Mainly from Tokyo to Kyoto, what do you recommend bringing back from Japan? I was asked to buy souvenirs from Pharmacy Stores like Donki, but I really don't know what products/ snacks are must haves. Any recommendations?

I don't work for CVS, but my SO does. I have never ***** a company nearly as much as this one. **** CVS so much. The degree to which they treat their employees and store managers like disposable assets is ridiculous. Profit over people. **** this company, sincerely.

I was curious to see how much profit Loblaws make and downloaded their Q3 quarterly (the most recent quarterly available), and yes, they made 1.3 billion in operating income for this single quarter. So they are doing pretty well. But what caught my attention is this sentence : The Company’s internal food inflation was lower than the Consumer Price Index for Food Purchased From Stores of 3.6% (2024 – 2.3%) So, they voluntarily raised the price less than their competitors? Do you think it's accurate?

Ok, so I want to know your best mom hack/mom fib and I want to tell you mine. I told my kid the candy up front at the grocery store/target/pharmacy is for dogs. Now every time we go in, I remind her “it’s for dogs” and she goes “I know mommy, it’s always for dogs” - she’s 3. We’re on vacation today so new state/new environment but wow I felt like a standup comedian with the amount of people laughing in line and the guy behind me saying “that’s genius”. As of Jan 22 I’ve been with CVS for 2 yrs union store if that matters!!! My question is one stub shows 43 hours of vaca and one shows that I’ll have 80 hrs in vacation pay once my 2 yr anniversary hit so my question is will the 2 combine??? Or am I reading this wrong

This post is specifically for the CVS workers who will be affected by the winter storm the most. If it’s going to be mild for your state or area this post ain’t for you. Don’t put yourself in danger to get to work for a multi billion dollar company that should be closed tmrw anyways. Anyone pressuring you to come in knowing the conditions tmrw truly doesn’t give a **** about you and it shows. They cant even prioritize employee safety over profit for a single day which is sad. Truthfully, many stores should be closed tomorrow and if you’ve been pressured to come into work.. especially on ur day off if your coworkers called off.. don’t go lmfao. Not worth it.

For the last 20+ years my husband and I have been the proud parents of 4 (5 as of today) awesome Chihuahuas. We live in a townhouse with no yard only a small patio. We have used wee wee pads for years, actually human CVS pads which work way better than any pet brand we’ve tried. Our girls use the pads without issue. The problem is disposing of the pads twice a day and keeping the smell down from the used pads. Normally we would tie them in a plastic bag from the grocery store. Still there was a smell. Enter in the Diaper Genie. DUH. We still use bags like used produce bags but then load them into the Genie. We can go up to 3 days before it’s full and no smell. Omgosh what took us so long...

Are CVS brand feminine pads being discontinued or is it a supply issue? There are certain sizes I noticed that are out of stock at all stores 20+ miles out from me.

Greetings, I was wondering if anyone had a source for inexpensive acamprosate? This drug has been a lifesaver for me - combined with gabapentin, my urges to drink are almost eliminated. Naltrexone/TSM just made me sick, like I had the flu. The least expensive I've found for a 90 day supply is about $150 using GoodRx at CVS Pharmacy. I'm not keen on spending $600/yr on this medication. Which has been around for years and is probably very cheap to produce. I don't mind mail order from overseas. Thanks if anyone is able to help.

I, 19F, dread working at any place of employment. I didn’t use to have such strong feelings; I got my first job at a hotel at 14, stayed there for a year, then got another job at a grocery store from 16 until I was 18. Both jobs were meh, sure I didn’t love to work, but it was never anything more than a “this *****, well whatever let me go anyways.” At the store in particular, I saw myself working there throughout college. I have worked at Hannaford for almost 4 years now and I have been trying to apply for the pharmacy tech position about 8 different times now. I currently work in the front end as a service leader. When I did not get the position the first time, the ARM told me that they just picked someone with more experience and that the next time, they would pick me for sure since I was a good worker and had a good basis in knowing my medicine (nursing student), which the said wasn’t necessary but definitely made me stand out.
