Hi all! Just had my first Wegovy injection Sunday. It took some time for me to figure out insurance. We have Anthem through my husbands employer. Searching the formulary Wegovy was on it was allegedly 130 a month with PA approval. PA was approved and my cost showed at CVS as 1,300. I applied the copay card and it only brought it to 1,200 (max 100 dollar a month reduction with card, can pay as low as 25 a month). Luckily I opened my snailmail in a timely manner. My husbands employer requires those on a weight loss med to be a part of the CVS weight management program for them to participate in cost share of the meds. I have UHC and a pharmacy plan with Express scripts, I have always used the savings card and my zepbound has always been $25, I just went to fill my prescription for one month at CVS and it’s pulling at $150 and they said they’re using my savings card. Has anyone else had this happen this year? I am so confused by this because like I said usually it’s $25 but if I have to pay $150 with a savings card it doesn’t make sense because express scripts doesn’t use my savings card and they said it would be $450 for a 3 month supply and it’s never been the same price between CVS and Express scripts for me… I need help 😭

Hi everyone, 40F in New York. I’ve been on Cimzia since 2022 and use their copay assistance card. My medication has always been free with the card and with whatever my federal health insurance covers. I just got a text reminder from CVS Specialty Pharmacy to refill my Cimzia. When I went to check out, the estimated subtotal said $500. It has always said $0 until today. My child has already been to the doctor this month and there were no issues with insurance. Our insurance coverage has never lapsed, either. As far as I know my Cimzia prescription is also still valid and doesn’t need to be renewed. I've been disconnected so many times, before anyone even answered. I know they're really busy, especially this time of year.
