Right now, I’m weighing two main options. I have an opportunity with Walgreens or CVS that offer around $40k in tuition reimbursement (closer to \~$35k after taxes), along with loan assistance and a 401(k) match, in exchange for a 4-year work commitment. I am just so tired of terrible service from the major players, and am ready to put up with a bit of inconvenience to support a local independent if possible. I have tried CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens and now Amazon. I had been frequenting them because I was under the impression that, although I would rather not frequent a mega-corporation, the ease of access, prices, etc. would be worth it, but each of them has been so terrible in some way, that it just isn't worth it. First time buyer for TRT self injecting. What brand needles and syringes are you all using for your IM injections? And where are you buying them from? I seen some on Amazon that say not for human use or for lab and inks. But reviews show people using them for HRT, TRT etc. I heard that my local CVS pharmacy brand needles can be dull. Or is it still good quality?

I have a BOGO coupon that should make them $6 but it’s not applying online and it’s saying I need to add more items to get this deal. Just got home from vacation, we stayed in a mid size 50k population or greater city in another state. Zero homeless people, all week nobody. Not even at the liquor store, this is not really a touristy town either. I get home to our 20k population town and there were 5 people on our main street. Another 5 in front of CVS. So the question is what are we not doing in Illinois that other states are? Because I want the best for them and seems like it's becoming an issue that's only increasing over time.

Some days I wish they just use an app to pay their bills. Why are we responsible does that is beyond me? CVS doesn’t even get paid enough for it. I’m a rising high school senior interested in pharmacy and I want to work as a pharmacy tech/apprentice in a retail pharmacy to not only get early experience in pharmacy, but also strengthen my college apps. This sign went up a few days ago on Nostrand (between Gates/Quincy). The building was gutted and renovated 10 years ago and, except for the bodega, it has been sitting empty ever since. I'm not sure what a "pharmacy services only" CVS means but it might be nice to to have to go to all the way to Fulton Street for a pharmacy.
