CVS PHARMACY Locations

I (late 20s) have gum recession from brushing teeth too hard. Have had someone say that taking a q-tip and dipping in mouth was before adding to my gumline will help cure it. Another said a salt water rinse will take care of that. Which mouthwash/salt should I use? Is sea salt/himalayan superior to table salt? Would these work?

Retail pharmacy location has this rule where all rx must be processed/filled/verified/bagged on same day prior to leaving. With rx/refills rolling in indefinitely , routinely becomes 200+ rx in the last ~2-2.5 hr for 1 pharmacist /2 techs. Either speed verifying or staying late. Also you don’t get paid for staying late at all, pay is only for hours in scheduled shift (salary). Verification isn’t photograph/CVS style it’s traditional style. I’ve never dealt with this before.

Hello! I received my first 4 doses through lilly today and can’t wait to start this journey. I didn’t buy the syringes that lilly offered because i read somewhere there are better options. i am waiting for my package from Diabetic warehouse where i placed an order for the syringes that many recommended here. It doesn’t arrive until end of next week. Question 1: Can i buy the same syringe locally at CVS? Question 2: Since this is my first time, will CVS pharmacy be willing to administer the first dose to me so that i can learn?

We just recently got the updated POS + screens this past week, but it seems all the other stores the new systems have signage like this except us. Wondering if anyone knew the item number to order or if I should just ask our supervisor?

I hesitated switching to Walmart for my refills but the process was so dang easy that I’m glad I did. I was concerned about UPS boxes getting porch pirated this time of year (and all the redundant packaging) plus leaving for vacation and not having to have a neighbor grab my box. Hey all, I've got a question/ was wondering if any of you have experience with this. Im 38m, so I've been around the Bipolar block a few times, and was diagnosed a couple decades ago. So Im not new to this. My problem- in Canada atm, specifically ontario, there is a shortage of extended release lithium. It is on back order at all pharmacies until December 13th i heard. All psychtrists and GPs are switching patients to instant release for the time being until the extended release are ready. That should be ok.... or so I thought. I graduated 2023. My first job was with cvs. And of course with cvs, you only get 3 days of training. I dont know if i was lucky or not. but man, I was afraid to death for my first day running the pharmacy alone. It was just me and another tech. She was there for only half a day because working for cvs teaches me that pharmacists are superman, we can handle 5 people job. never have enough tech hours. this was a target location btw. For context: I (36F) have worked for Wags for 5+ years now, more than half of it as a pharmacy tech. I never planned to work in the medical field, but I gave it a try and found I really enjoy the variety, learning about medicines, and (for the most part) interacting with patients.
