Trying to find a specific stuffed bear!

1h ago

About 25 years ago I worked at a CVS in Louisville Kentucky. I believe it was during Christmas time that we had a stuffed teddy bear for sale that would repeat everything that you said. No, it wasn’t Teddy Ruxpin. I’m not even sure this one has a name. He was maybe the size of Ruxpin, though. My best friend and her mother had come into the store and got the bear, and spent the longest time playing with it in the store and then later on, they were playing with it outside of the store, it is probably one of the best memories that’s the three of us have. I very much would like to find that bear so if anyone has any knowledge, please help. Thank you!

RX lead training

2h ago

So I’m currently in the training for the RX lead or something of that sort, and it’s that 10 days at a training store and the rest I think day 11 to day 19 at your home store, but after you finish, ngl I feel like quitting after i get a bit of pharmacy tech experience and work at another pharmacy that pays more, but idk if there’s a limit of time you need to be a RX lead after your training or not, I just need more money, this 16.50 and eventually 17.50 is not worth it with what we have to deal with

I think my BC dissapered and now don’t know what to do

3h ago

I’ve been on the Mylan levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol combo pill for over 7+ years. I have tried the Jolessa BC before but had a bad allergic reaction to a filler in it and got switched back to Mylan where I had no problems. I got a text notification from CVS and thought my BC was in filled and went up to the store to pick it up last Saturday. The pharmacy tech was super confused and said I had no refills currently and that she would order it and it would come by Monday. Monday rolls around and I get a text notification saying it was temporarily out of stock and they would notify me when it comes back in. I thought maybe it would take a couple days but it’s been over a week now ...

I **** putting on lotion like a lot of you have voiced you dislike as well. I looked up alternatives and found this. Just tried it and LOVE IT. It smells sooooo good and the spray is so easy and doesn’t give me a sensory ick.

Job Offered??

5h ago

This need context. I am 17 and have been pretty much begging on my hands and knees for the last two years to get a job because I want to leave my household when I go to college. Right now I currently have 32 jobs that I have applied for in the last 6 months, only 8 of them have given me any response, 3 have interviewed me but was never hired. I even applied for hard-labour jobs at construction and factories on weekends but even they never got back. It also should be noted that, despite my age, I always show respect. I shake their hands, ask their name, never am I on my phone since the time I walk in the door for the interview, say sir/ma’am, dress nice, wear cologne and I’m showered and ...

Where does Korea stand on stablecoin adoption?

5h ago

**\[MONEY MOVER\]**     *Capital moves in and out of Korea, driven by a range of economic and geopoltiical forces. In our "Money Mover" series, we explore key market developments that could shape investment decisions and influence the flow of global funds. — ED.*    From buying coffee at Starbucks to purchasing lipstick at Olive Young, a growing number of Koreans are embracing stablecoins for everyday payments, often through overseas third-party payment platforms.   “I’ve made payments using stablecoins for an Americano at a cafe, as well as at pharmacies, restaurants, taxis and most other places,” said a crypto blogger nicknamed Rusiper, who makes ...

What's it like living in Biloxi Mississippi?

I'm from CA, so I'm used to huge cities, LA style of living. Biloxi seems to be significantly different and I'm really not sure what I'm walking into.

Why so many managers and why do they all ****?

7h ago

I’ve worked with Publix as a pharmacy intern for like 7 months, and I’ve noticed a lot of things about how the store outside the pharmacy actually works. There are too many managers, and they all are egotistical jerks. I’ve never seen them do their job once they just micromanage. I genuinely feel that without any of them nothing would change. And it’s most stores too not just my home store too.

Nations Benefits is a joke!

7h ago

I switched Health insurance and I regret in now, mainly because of Nations Benefits. They say I get $100.00 ever quarter compared to $60.00 my other Insurance plan but this is so much worse. Selling a $15.00 Weight scale for $48.00? Most everything is 2x cost anywhere else. The app's built in eligibility checker does not work and you can't use the benefits card in most major stores. I was not able to use it at Walmart, Amazon or CVS online. I will be changing insurance next year to get away from these thieves.

Differences between pharmacies (same mfr)

8h ago

Hi guys, So pretty much all of December I felt slightly better, and thought Sandoz was improving again. 10mg blue tablets, E111 imprint. My dr had accidentally sent to a different CVS, a few miles away. Well, yesterday I went to my normal CVS, the one closer to my house, same Sandoz pill, same NDC - and sure enough, bad batch again. I did some digging, and I guess all CVS stores have different distributors which may use different Sandoz warehouses/mfr sites, which all may use different API sources?? This should NOT be a thing. Has that happened to anyone, where theyve just picked up the same mfr but at a different location and had it be better or worse? Ridiculous.

Downtown Pharmacy Recommendations

9h ago

Does anyone know of a pharmacy downtown (Gastown/Waterfront/Granville areas) that is a step above the rest? The LD in my area is closing Feb. 1, and I really dislike the other major chain one in the neighborhood (Rexall), based on abhorrent customer service in the past (Tinseltown location). I'd like to find a pharmacy that is actually properly stocked so I don't have to constantly return to pick up the remainder of my prescription, has excellent pharmacists that actually care, can fill my prescriptions in minimal time, and is open until at least 6pm. And don't suggest checking the reviews on Google Maps - those are often all over the place and are based more on the store than...

Insurance denial of seroquel?

9h ago

LO has moderate to severe dementia, in MC, has aggressive and physically combative behaviors when cared for by staff. Is on multiple psych meds including Seroquel. Has Medicare and private insurance for supplementals. I was surprised to see that insurance is paying $0 for Seroquel and one other med. Seroquel is so commonly used in this population. Are your LO’s having to pay completely OOP for Seroquel? Pharmacy is CVS Caremark, which is the facility mandated pharmacy. Should I just accept this insurance denial? If not, what needs to happen for the Seroquel and other psych meds to be covered? TIA!

Quality Glass Nail File - that is available in Canada

10h ago

Hello esteemed nail people of reddit. I did a deep dive of this sub and salon life on youtube and now I'm in the market for a quality nail file. I've read on this sub that Mont Bleu and Germaikure are the top brands for glass nail files, and that czech etched glass is the best for natural nails. I live in Canada and boycott scam-azon and am having a very hard time figuring out where else to get one of these files, or something comparable. I've checked sephora, salon supply stores, pharmacies, sally's, online shops for local nail salons, department stores etc. Canadians, where are you getting your files? I'm tempted to order stright from Mont Bleu in the Czech...

CVS Hiring: Pharmacy Interns, Pharmacists, Managers, Store Crew, and various Customer Service Reps (possible remote) in ...

11h ago

https://jobs.cvshealth.com/us/en/search-results?keywords=Customer%20Service&from=40&s=1 Not sure if this is correct subreddit. Finding employment and also internships are tough, right now. This post isn’t “CVS Sponsored”. Just posting to help people. Some Customer Service positions are remote. Always have to make sure that it doesn’t say, “must reside within 50 miles of Orlando; may have to come into office”, etc. on any Remote positions. Wishing you all great success!!

My story

11h ago

I'm sorry if I don't reply to this post after getting it out there. Three years ago I was banned from reddit for some insanely lukewarm take on r slash politics and not only did I get banned, but any subsequent account I make from this IP gets banned within 48 hours since then. I might honestly be banned before I even finish writing this. Sorry for that intro. Just a bit of a warning this will include some intimate details relevant to my symptoms. It all started seven years ago when I was 22 in march of 2019. One week I was skiing and hiking with my friends, and a couple days later after getting home I felt dizzy and had a spell of vertigo on an evening walk with my brother...

Positive experiences.

12h ago

Listen, we all know working at CVS is a pain in the *** with all the angry, entitled old people, ****** co-workers, and ridiculous corporate policy, but let's just take a second to relax and share some positive experiences and make this subreddit less depressing. I'll go first, we have a regular old couple that runs a food pantry for their church. We like to give them our cardboard boxes from when truck comes and they're always so sweet. I also gave a child a free balloon, but that's mainly because the kid asked for it, so I didnt rlly cost the company that much. I also like to cut out Bluey and Paw Patrol stickers from home because thats way more enticing than a *****...

Ears ringing after being out in public

12h ago

I have sensitive hearing and feel overstimulated most often because of auditory stimuli. I just came back from running errands. I was only gone about 45 minutes but I went to an office supply store, the grocery store, and the pharmacy. None of the places were particularly loud but I noticed as I was driving back home that my ears were ringing. This happens to me from time to time but I don't have tinnitus regularly. Maybe it's a sign that I'm overstimulated? It went away after I got back home and could relax for a bit but I'm just curious if this ever happens to any of you.
