I’m glad to see that Boots has some faith in the town and is going to reopen as a full range store, not just a pharmacy. My mam also reckons JD will be moving to the Hillstreet too. But it does beg the question, are the Cleveland Centre’s days numbered? The fact it is implied to be cheaper to move out and fit an entirely different unit rather than fix the problems in that unit says a lot about the state of the CC structurally.

I moved to pharmacy a month ago after 4 months in the front store. I've recently been told by my cross-source and pharm tech coworkers that we can't ring up canned goods in the pharmacy, but no one has been able to tell me why. I'm already aware that my store has a rule about no front-store items after 9pm due to our theft issues, and of course no alcohol is super reasonable to me. But can anyone explain this rule about canned goods including foods, soda, baby food, etc? Is it just a feeble attempt to bridle the thievery?

Hello everyone. I wanted to share my experience working at retail pharmacy as a cashier at Walmart. Lately, I help out different stores, but this one in particular which is closer to home, I feel like the team that I work with is envious. I just graduated college and moved in with my parents today :/ i was planning to move to philly but the apartments i liked didnt work out. I was pretty much looking between south street and spring garden street. Are there any other neighborhoods i could check out for apartments. My budget is $1500 but looking more for $1350-$1400. Id like to be walkable to grocery stores, pharmacy, coffee shops, safe septa routes. Im not super into nightlife so idrc about bars and stuff like that. My doctor prescribed me Zepbound at the beginning of November, but it took a solid month to get through insurance approvals and to actually get it shipped to my pharmacy (CVS). Then I had pneumonia, and coincidentally picked up the Zepbound along with all the antibiotics and ancillary meds that go along with pneumonia, but the Zepbound was banished to the fridge. So now it’s the 3rd week of December, I’m over the pneumonia, I have the Zepbound sitting in my fridge, and I’m wondering if I should go ahead and start now or wait until January? I’m fairly new to CVS (6 months) but have been working for a retail drug store for 30+ years, so I have plenty of experience. I understand that CVS does not have a “ black out period for PTO”. But, is it kosher for a store manager to take PTO the week before Christmas? He didn’t take the whole week…… but he only worked 2 days. Store staff definitely suffered. WH did not get touched, photo was slammed with Xmas cards, mugs , ornaments, regular prints etc, long lines, online orders, ups pickup, quick picks……. You get the picture.
