Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyQuickMD1h agoSo I posted a couple weeks ago about my experience. I scheduled an appointment for Subs through QuickMD to get off of 7-OH which I switched to from H. My first appointment was great... but when I had my prescription sent to a pharmacy, they refused to fill it. I called the local CVS and they said as long as it was a legit prescription they would fill it. It took a few days of contacting QuickMD to have them cancel my old prescription and send a new one to CVS. The first appointment they give you one weeks worth of medication. So after a week I scheduled another appointment through QuickMD (again very fast and user friendly). They send a months worth prescription to the same CVS and when I we... Need advice1h agoWhat to do with a slow Rxm? A floater pharmacist works 2 times per week 5 hours each day and needs to help so much with F4 and work flow. Pharmacy is behind for 10 days all the time. Whenever a floater pharmacist overlaps with Rxm, Rxm does non-pharmacy works or wondering around. Rxm seems not improving at all or not interested at her work. Requested to move from that store but still not approved yet, have to deal with that Rxm. Need advice. Calgary Grocery Deals (November 20 to 26, 2025)1h agoHappy Wednesday! This is a continuation of my pattern of posting what I think are decent grocery deals with the hope that this will save some people some money. As noted previously this is heavily skewed to items that I and my family eat. There are probably additional items that are good deals but I don't know it because they aren't items I use but hopefully my list is still useful to you. A few quick reminders: * PC Optimum points are collected at No Frills and Superstore. 1,000pts is worth $1. * Scene+ points are collected at Safeway, Sobeys and FreshCo. 100pts is worth $1. * The value of Save on Foods points depends on what you redeem them for. If you redeem them for a 4L jug... Highmark Direct Health Insurance Store or UPMC (possiblly big savings)1h agoI took my Silent Generation parents to the Highmark Direct store in Monroeville to review their Medicare plans. It ends up that the plan they’ve been allowing auto renew every year was greatly overcharging them for the benefits they were getting. After the visit they are switched to a new plan with the same benefits for a combined savings of about $200/month between the two of them. They also get $80/quarter for OTC pharmacy purchases that they weren’t getting before. Both Highmark and UPMC have Medicare review at their stores free of charge, and don’t require you to commit to their recommendations. I’d strongly suggest a visit to one of their stores if you or a loved one is curr... They broke me4h agoIt happened. They broke me. After more than 20 yrs of service. I’m out! It’s too much. They are cutting benefits and we have no staff in my whole store. It’s not just the pharmacy that is suffering right now. Stay healthy everyone! Second time this has happened :(4h agoOn shop and delivers I selected “take photo of Receipt later” so I purchased the items at cvs. As soon as I’m done buying the items with plus card. It asks me to take a photo of receipt. So I try taking a photo of receipt after buying already, and it won’t let me. It asks for me to buy the items again. Causing me to not be able me to complete pick up. I had to have uber text me the customers adresss, and deliver while the app thinks I’m still at the store. All together it was a 3 hour ordeal between getting lost driving, items not scamming, and waiting on support agents to assist me. And I never got paid for it. Uber force canceled the delivery’s promising I’ll be reimbursed i... rate my resume (any tips/advice)4h agoJust finished final product of my pharm tech resume for future endeavors and wondering if there’s much I’m missing. FYI I’ll have my immunizing certification around Feb 2026 New Pharmacy Tech - Advice needed4h agoToday was shift 3 in my training store and I need some advice. I knew going in that it would be hectic and fast paced, and I wasn’t wrong! I am supposed to have hands on practice and training with a “coach” but was told today by the pharmacy manager to skip it and go online to the next module. He said it’s too busy for that which leaves me concerned. I genuinely want to learn my job before the training is over. I don’t want to feel totally overwhelmed and unprepared for the job. I do realize that I’ll learn a lot of the job by doing the work but I at least want to know the basics. The other techs/coaches aren’t friendly and they are too busy to explain things. Should I reach... Community org misinformation4h agoSome misinformed person has been circulating a post slandering a local community organization that I know firsthand is a godsend for so many families in North County. I want to clear a few things up for anyone who may have seen it. First, the claim that this PACE program is “run by billionaires” is completely false. While philanthropists helped fund the initial project years ago—as is common with many nonprofits—the organization today is operated by community members and functions like every other regulated PACE program across the country. It is a community-based nonprofit, not a private enterprise, and it exists for one purpose: to help vulnerable seniors remain safe, supported, an... Lantus defects - potential legal action6h agoI've recently reported a defective box of Lantus to Sanofi. I have no doubt that the box was defective, as I received another perfectly effective box at the same time, stored in the same place. Sanofi refused to respond to my complaints, despite reporting adverse medical effects (aggravated neuropathy). The result of taking insulin from the defective box was consistent with not taking insulin at all. Over several days, I took the defective Lantus 5 times in order to determine the true root cause of my higher blood sugar. When I reached out to Sanofi about their lack of response, they stated that they closed my complaint, without notification, because they "are not responsible for ... Fruth Pharmacy to close all stores, on December 3rd, Pharmacy services moving to Walgreens6h agoIf any of you guys used to one out in Mineral Wells you may want to move Pharmacy locations Nice box of chocolates?6h agoAnyone know where I can get a really nice box of chocolates in the area? Not like the prepackaged pharmacy type. I want to bring some to a party this weekend but am not actually seeing any nice chocolate stores! Thanks Incentive programs7h agoMy app chose an incentive for today tomorrow and Friday and it looks to only be good at Sam’s Club. But I completed an order today and it still says I have zero qualifying trips. Can someone help? CVS Pharmacy phone system doesn't really work with twins7h agoIt's almost just funny at this point.. had to call to renew one of the kids RX at CVS, which of course, its impossible to speak to a human. Using the automated system, that is tied to your caller ID so it knows who you are, it asks for the date of birth. Say the date of birth, and it only allows you to renew RX for the alphabetically first kid. No option to choose another child.. because of course why would more than one person in your family have the same birthday? Fireside Chat with Tilray Chairman & CEO, Irwin Simon8h agoJust a couple of topics I found interesting (I was on a couple of cell texts, so spotty, but it was truthful discussion, not bsing) - Irwin just talking about craft beer and still expanding that division. Many EU companies, due to tariffs, are asking Tilray to produce their beers in the USA. Could be some great revenue? - Ty Gilmour replaced to improve the team - Tilray Cannabis doing Philip Morris Zyn products in Canada. Pouches? Interesting, Could lead to something? PM announced 6 months ago they were looking for Canadian Legal Cannabis - Tilray suspending 80% of the Masson facility growing Cukes in Quebec into 100% cannabis in the next few months. Quebec will only stock cannabis in... My CVS won't let me use coupons anymore for my perscription?8h agoI get testosterone gel through my CVS and have gotten it twice now. Both times that I went, they applied a coupon for me without me even needing to ask. However, now they're saying they can't do that for me anymore and they also can't accept any coupons that I provide. I don't really understand why this is something they can't do anymore and the pharmacist was unwilling to elaborate. Would anyone be able to explain this? Edit for some clarification: The pharmacist on the phone had said they could no longer accept coupons from me but that I could go to another pharmacy that may accept them (although I'm unsure if she meant I could just go to a different CVS or i... Pharmacy questions11h agoEvery time I talk to the pharmacy about a refill they ask several questions. I don't know if it's just my pharmacy or if it's common. Particularly anyone in the medical/insurance/pharmacy fields, do my answers actually matter? Are there consequences if I lie? The questions are: 1) How many doses do you have left? 2) How often are you taking the shot? 3) Have you missed any doses? 4) Have you had any emergency room visits or unplanned doctor visits in the past month? I know there are a couple more, but I can't think of them at the moment. I'm particularly interested in the "how many doses do you have left?". I'm usually vague on the recorded calls wit... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
