for context im a younger(21) pharmacy technician who transferred from cvs NC to cvs PA - and yes i am a smoker. ive already heard the whole "thatll kill you" lecture so please save it anyways, i take two 10-minute smoke breaks in my 7-8hr shifts where i do not get a lunch because im scheduled after the lunch break. i do this outside the store by the trashcan, out of the way. but today a customer complained to my store manager about me saying that it was disgusting and that i should be working. and she has now told me that i have to smoke in the back of the store, where there isnt a door to directly access, and also no trashcans. this just seems ridiculous to me because smoke brea...

Hi everyone, I’m going through the wringer trying to get my monthly vyvanse prescription refilled over the past several months. I’ve been on this medication for 10 years, and it’s been extremely stressful having to play telephone between my doctor and multiple pharmacies that lead me on all to tell me they are out of stock. When CVS has it in stock things feel easy, but most times as of late it’s a guessing game trying to get in touch with someone in the pharmacy who will confirm if they actually have it in stock before having it sent there. I read somewhere that Tucson has more locally owned stores and small businesses than anywhere else in Arizona. I think that's really cool, and I want to try and go to local places for everyday purchases instead of Target, Walmart, etc. JayBees is now my go-to auto repair shop, and I enjoy Food Conspiracy for groceries, though they're a bit expensive. Unfortunately they told me a start date but the schedule was posted had me set at zero hours still which may be because I don’t tentatively start working until a Thursday and our schedules come out Wednesday… but anyways. My PCP prescribed PremPro HRT for me in September, and it isn't a med that our city's CVSs even keep in stock. I've been calling in the refills about a week early (CVS won't put it on auto fill), and so far each month it's been making it in. Welp, with the winter weather I called it in even earlier (over a week ago). Y’all I’m in dire need of some help/advice. I’ve been taking Lumryz for about 2 years. I’ve had 3 specialty pharmacies in that time and have **always** gotten it delivered to a FedEx facility near me. My insurance changed in the new year and so did my pharmacy, to CVS Specialty. They are now telling me there is absolutely no way they can send my Lumryz to FedEx or to a CVS to pick up because it’s “against state law”. Hi I’m a pharmacy tech in Texas and I was at a cvs location from August 2025 till mid December 2025 the reason I left was bc my PIC was leaving and the new PIC is a really bad pharmacist…. CVS pharmacy's automatic voice response sytem is to F'ing frustrating. How the f*** does one get off the ****** automatic voice response sytem endless loop and actually talk to a real person? Moving back to Walmart for one reason.... I can talk to a real person, without jumping thru f'ing hoops.

Without making this TLDR..I want to present facts and see what you guys think: Started sema 9/20/25 Dose .25mg until 11/15/25 Dose .50mg until 12/19 Stopped - i was sick on and off with the flu and the holidays, I wanted to enjoy wine or beer here and there so I skipped 2 shots. Resumed at .30mg on 1/16. Facts of vial: opened a new one which was from a different pharmacy than my first. It seemed less effective in some ways, definitely less side effects which was great! But not as "noticeably potent" i took the first shot of that vial the week before I stopped consuming all together. Now, I notice still, less side effects (yay!) But also, I can take .50mg and ag...

I took klonopin (benzodiazepine) for 7 years as needed for insomnia only. I had no mental health history. I took it 3-4 times a week and as I become more physically dependent I was taking it every night for sleep. My elderly dog was dying and I was filling his pain meds at a CVS pharmacy cause it was cheaper than the vet. Even the vet agreed with this.
