CVS PHARMACY Locations

Anyone else's new registers down? All front store and pharmacy registers, minus ACO's, are stuck in the data sync loading screen. one of them has been stuck for an hour. Zipline is down, and I can't access MyDocs either to see if I should restart them even though they are downloading data. Not sure what to do, or if I should contact the Emergency hotline. Does anyone have advice? It's also 3:30 am here, and our manager is going to a different location in the morning, so I'd rather not contact her.

I was hired as a technician-in-training at Rite Aid last year in California, but I mainly cashiered. I have a somewhat confusing situation. I haven’t used stimulants in years and decided I wanted to get back on them for my ADHD. They prescribed me 20mg adderall twice a day and it wasn’t working out for me so I asked to change to dextroamphetamine a week later which they prescribed 30mg twice a day but CVS didn’t have it in stock at the time and they told me it would cost about $250 because my insurance wouldn’t cover it so I asked if they could order something else and they changed it to 20mg adderall xr once a day. I’ve been digging into ecommerce setups for **hyperlocal businesses in India** (local grocery, pharmacy, dark stores, quick commerce, etc.), and honestly… most conversations still seem to default to Shopify. For background I am a new tech, started at wags on Sept 2025. My pharmacy is a tier 4 and we had 3 pharmacies close down around us this past year, leaving our store, a 24hr Walgreens and another tier 4 both about 20 mins away from us. Since January I’ve seen an influx in patients coming into the pharmacy and I’m always stuck in drive or the out. Hey everyone, I've been working for Walmart as a tech for nearly 2 years now. Recently, I've become very bothered by the automatic refill system--specifically the part in TASCO pickup when it asks for consent and signature. 9/10 times the medication that's pending automatic refill consent is a different med than the one being picked up at that moment. It's always a bit weird and awkward. A customer will be picking up losartan, and out of the blue, I have to ask "Are you still taking escitalopram?" 28yo 2nd year pharmacist without a residency. Job 1(current job): LTC 7on/7off day time hours. About 68 hours in the pharmacy but on-call 24/7 during my work week. No obligations during the 7 off. Salary is \~$145,000, but it’s super easy to pick up extra shifts at $70/hr. Will likely make about $160,000-$165,000. What's the deal with this store? They are a chemist but the footprints are like 90% retail and 10% pharmacy. Also, why is it so cramped in there? I can hardly walk the aisle if there are others in the one I need.

I just finished orientation at CVS as a pharmacy tech and I’m kinda excited but also a little nervous 😭 For anyone who’s worked there, what was your training process like? I work part time as a pharmacy technician about 20 hours a week in 2 shifts. A lot of the techs are at 40 and can’t do overtime because it’s not allowed. So every time someone decides they want a day off, they start texting me sometimes days in advance of sometimes day of (someone’s kid is sick, etc). Sometimes if there is a call off which happens way to often in 1 year i’ve been at my store then my manager asks me to cover. I am a long time lover of Ben and Jerry’s. For at least the last 12 years, my favorite flavor has been Netflix n Chill’d. It has now been discontinued at Target, and none of my local grocery stores carry it. I finally found it at my local CVS, and they have the audacity to charge nearly $8 per pint!!!! Picked up my script from CVS a few days ago. The ones I’ve been taking every day since I got the script did not look like this. Today I took one out and this is what it looked like so I dumped the bottle and started looking at the rest of them.
