I learned production, pulling, filling, rts, I typed in a few practice written scripts but I still take a lot of time with those. Roadie & usps packaging is pretty easy. QT is hard to get the hang of, lots to navigate so I still need a lot of practice there. The system is just a lot so it’ll take me time for that. Thing is, no one is really showing me anything? Yesterday I worked 10 hours and the entire time they left me at pick up and drive thru. Everyone else was on production and pulling, and I was left with a line of people at pickup and then drive thru. They would pick up the drive... having problems getting medication???4h agoI’ve worked in a pharmacy in the past so I know a little bit how this goes. I’ve been established at my pharmacy for years but never had any controlled medications before. A month ago I was diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed Methylphenidate Er (La) 10Mg. As soon as my doctor sent it over I got a voicemail from my pharmacy saying they won’t be able to fill it and to find a different pharmacy to fill my meds. I called them back to ask why I couldn’t get it filled there and the pharmacists response was “our pharmacy (cvs) is at our limit for giving out controlled medications, you’ll have to find another” . I’ve worked at cvs before as a head pharmacy tech and never heard of this... Disposable vs Cloth Diapers: Cost and Comfort Comparison4h agoChoosing the right diaper for a baby is one of the earliest and most important decisions parents make. Diapers are not just a daily necessity; they directly affect a baby’s comfort, skin health, and a family’s budget. The debate between disposable and cloth diapers has existed for decades, and with growing awareness around sustainability, cost efficiency, and baby comfort, parents today are more thoughtful than ever. While disposable diapers offer convenience and ease of use, cloth diapers are often praised for their cost savings and eco-friendly nature. However, the decision is rarely straightforward. Factors like lifestyle, budget, laundry access, baby’s skin sensitivity, and long-t... $400, MO, Need to make a rent payment, Cash App preferred, repay $500 by 2/15. Thank you.4h agoHello. I have been working on getting my rent covered. I have paid about $1500 so far on my own and am working on making small payments tonight and the next few days. I work for CVS Pharmacy as a technician part time, I've requested to work more hours but have been unable to recently. I'm happy to pay you back $500 on Cash App by 2/15, if that works for you. Thank you. Just got prescribed Adderall & my pharmacy has been out of it for days. Anyone have any luck @ other pharmacies ...5h agoSavings card was useless for me5h agoEdit: obligatory “do not tell me about vials” My employer switched our prescription insurance to CVS Caremark, boooo. I figured this would cause some problems and I was right. I’m putting this here in case anyone else is looking for info on Caremark and the current savings card. I used to get Zep pens for $196 with my previous prescription insurance, then with the 2025 savings card, I’d get it for $47 via ExpressScripts home delivery (really it was Evernorth EnGuide). I read the advice on this forum of switching my pharmacy to Walmart for the evoucher. Some people noted they didn’t even need to use the savings card because the evoucher was a better deal. With my CVS Caremark, 5... CVS Weekend Pharmacy snowstorm6h agoHey! So I have to work this weekend during a snow storm. Whst happen if I can’t make it and if I take a hotel will it be reimbursed. It was in a very small, about 3-inch pot, and the roots were tightly bunched together. I repotted it into a 6-inch pot, which I now realize is too large, so I have a 4.5-inch pot arriving tomorrow. I also gave it new orchid potting mix, and I’ll post a photo of that from the website. It was looking healthy until today, when I noticed the flowers starting to droop slightly. The app I use indicates that it’s healthy, but I wanted a second opinion. Does this look normal to you, or is there something I should be concerned about? ✊ PNW PHARMACY WALKOUT: JANUARY 30th6h agoThe response across the Pacific Northwest over the last few days has been nothing short of incredible. We have reached a breaking point, and it’s clear that we are no longer willing to sacrifice our mental health, our licenses, and our patient safety for corporate metrics. This is a call to action. On Friday, January 30th, pharmacy staff across Washington and Oregon are standing together. We are reclaiming our rights, our working hours, and our work-life balance. Most importantly, we are demanding the respect we deserve as healthcare providers. How to participate: • The Walkout: If you are scheduled, walk out. • The Call-Out: If you can’t walk out, call out. • The Message: We... Gym buddy8h agoHi, does anyone want to come over to my building to workout in the gym? I'm a guy in a wheelchair and am working on restoring my mobility & working-out. Won't ask for assistance etc. I'm an introvert & happily married. I'm throwing this out there, because another person in the gym helps me dissociate from my pain. Goal's to revert to who I used to be. Having a muscular physique saved my life. The building's close to Bloor-Yonge & Sherbourne stations. There's a No Frills, Rexall pharmacy & other stores in the building.
