I got a call from DoorDash while I was working. They said I had a complaint filed against me for smelling like alcohol and I would have to take a sobriety test at the nearest Walgreens or CVS. Unfortunately my local small town pharmacy has permanently closed. Legitimately they made a post on Facebook about it the night before and the very next day they closed. On the 3rd of this month I filed my prescription, which is a 60 count alprazolam prescription at my small local pharmacy. I stopped using my insurance there a year ago for my script in general. I just got it filled on 3/3. I saw him again today, 3/19, and I won’t see him again until 4/13. He called in my Vyvanse early though, and now I’m freaking out. I didn’t request a refill, I don’t need it yet, and CVS is holding it until 3/30, which is fine. Is this going to get me flagged by the pharmacy or into some other kind of trouble? Do psychiatrists routinely do this?

Is CVS the only company out there that uses backwards planning in such a way that sets its employees up for absolute failure rather than success? Let me elaborate. They consistently start with the end result they’re trying to achieve yet never give the adequate tools to achieve said goal.
