February 20, 2020 — I got this laptop for my birthday a couple months ago. Never really used it, so I figured I’d start blogging. Why? I don’t know. Boredom, probably. Maybe loneliness. I accidentally posted this in the walgreens stores page but i need pharmacy techs/ pharmacist assistance. does anyone have a good way or any tips for doing the new section tasks? it started out with just expired’s every month, but now we’re required to create mylars, adjust stock checks for brand name, adjust stock check for pt vials, organize, check expired’s, and DUST our shelves and make MORE mylars? i’m the only person that has even 3 weeks done at my store and i haven’t been able to complete my 4th yet. the only reason i have 3 weeks done is because i work a lot of weekends so i try to fill super fast and then work on my section for an hour or two. does anyone have any tips...

I got my last booster in early October of 2025 and I’m unsure if it’s still good/will still protect me like 6 months later, I was interested in seeing if I could get boosted soon before this batch expires. The Smith’s and CVS pharmacies I checked don’t seem to be carrying it, so I was curious to see if anyone else knows where I can find it.

I'm a front store worker, but I was asked to help out in pharmacy on friday. Only three hours but I'm hella nervous. No I'm not licensed. What should I expect? What do I even do when I get there, walk into the pharmacy area and say I'm here to help. I feel like I'm a fish taking a trip to a different coral reef. From what I look up and see other people's experiences, I guess I'll only be on the register? Still I'm nervous though. Do I clock in, in the pharmacy or front? And do I have to press Front or RX? Started working in a Walgreens pharmacy recently and it’s easily one of the most hostile workplaces I’ve been in. Patients being rude? Expected. Coworkers acting annoyed when you ask questions or try to learn? Didn’t expect that part. Feels like all the stress just gets dumped on whoever is newest. I’m trying to do things right but somehow that’s a problem too. Is this just Walgreens culture or did I walk into a rough store?

I’m currently interviewing for another pharmacy job that pays better. But because non-retail pharmacy jobs in my area are incredibly limited, it’s competitive. I am unfortunately aware that there’s a good chance I’ll have to stay with CVS. Even if I don’t get a job offer, is there any possibility that I could negotiate my pay at this point with CVS? So are all Cvs pharmacy’s supposed to follow sop or standard operating procedures. For example virtual verification one store says to take a picture of the medication and the bottle with the medication inside a vial with the label attached. Other pharmacies a picture of the medication is sufficient. Which is the correct way to do things per cvs sop. Not each pharmacies managers preference.

Well this *****. I don’t know what to do. I have one left. I got a message from CVS stating that I won’t get to have my Adderall until April 26 then I got another message that it’s my insurance and then I called them and they told me that well they’re out of stock until tomorrow but I’m fifth on the list of refills. Thank goodness for Wellbutrin, but I don’t know I take Adderall and Wellbutrin and one without the other doesn’t work

Just for some context, I always wear a tail because I'm a therian and it relieves my species dysphoria. I was in the convenience store with my mom and I heard some little girl say "she's a furry!" to her parents to explain why I'm wearing a tail. At least, one that ***** less than average. I'm new to town and live RIGHT at the heart of downtown (well, border of downtown and midtown I guess) and I'm really looking to stop using Fred Meyer's pharmacy in West 11th. The line is insane and those kids do their best, but it's misery to sit and wait in a department store in a line of 20 people who are all ****** off. Has anyone had luck with Hirons? Are their nice local pharmacies I don't know about? I take a small handful of medications daily, injectable hormones, and am liable to be prescribed more due to a recent cancer diagnosis and I'd rather just.... Not resign myself to a life of this.

I’ve switched everything over to my closest pharmacy since I moved. I’ve told my drs offices, I’ve switched the location in app, I don’t have auto fill on (but somehow my medication still get filled without my knowledge…) I’ve even called my old pharmacy and they basically told me I need to talk to my new pharmacy which I have multiple times. It’s starting to get annoying. Also if I don’t have auto fill on why do they keep getting filled without me having to do it manually??

I just switched from Aetna to Kaiser and tried to pick up my dupixent from the kaiser pharmacy and they don’t accept dupixent myway card. Dupixent says I would have to pay oop and get reimbursed but my copay is $1200. Is there anyway I can get my prescription sent to a different pharmacy that will accept my copay like CVS?
