CVS PHARMACY Locations

Trying to reach a cvs pharmacy to talk to the pharmacist about a prescription, but unable to reach a human being because of the ****** automated voice system that is programmed to do specific useless things. Deeply frustrating. If I had known I'm gonna have to deal with this **** I'd have asked for the prescription to be sent to another pharmacy.

Im on day 5 or 6 of not drinking but I had to go to the store pharmacy today to get my antidepressants and I just stood and stared at the liquor section for a few minutes. Thought I would cave but I was able to get out of the store without buying any alcohol 😮‍💨 I tend to mix alcohol with my medications “bc **** it” knowing it makes it worse so I’m proud of myself at least a little bit today.

Pokemon should start charging scalper prices for their cards. 90% of the card stores in California already charge above market or at market price for cards they got from distribution. Anything at target or Best Buy or the machines or pokemon center sell out within seconds and bots buy them up ( I tried the “bot” method and studied this ) yes sometimes it did work for me but 99% of the time it does not. There are SO MANY bots now that not all the bots have a chance to buy anything. Or it crashes websites. Or you sit in line for hours with no avail. I accidentally threw away a brand new pack of birth control. My doctor’s office sent a refill request to the pharmacy today but they said most likely my insurance won’t want to pay since it’s a month early for the refill. The RN said then I’ll have to go to the pharmacy and explain the situation. Do I just go to the pharmacist and tell them I want to pay out of pocket? Will they even fill the request without the green light from my insurance? Normally I get a text from CVS when my prescription is being prepared/is ready and I haven’t gotten that yet. A few years ago, when paying for a prescription, the employee asked, “would you like me to keep this card on file?” And I said yes. That card is now no longer valid as our employer changed to a different HSA company. I have updated my CVS app to only show the correct, new HSA card. Still, when I go to the pharmacy, they run it through the old card and I get an email from Health Equity saying “charge denied.” When I ask them to update the card on file in their system, they tell me I have to do it on the app. I already have. I’m new to the APWU consumer driven health plan this year (coming from NALC high option). I’m wanting to know how prescription costs work. NALC has Caremark (owned by CVS) as the pharmacy benefits manager. My script was with cvs originally and I used to just pay a $30 per month co-pay last year. I didn’t switch pharmacies early on in 2026 when I went on APWU so it looks like getting it filled at a retail pharmacy means they charge full price and pay it first out of this savings account amount.
