I have a teenager who gets followed every time she walks into a CVS. I’ve seen it happen. Store employee literally a breath’s distance from her shoulders and acting like he was just on an errand. It happens with both male and female employees. It’s not like she has any precedents; she has never been caught shoplifting. What kind of training do you all get that tells you it’s worth your while to follow a minor around a store for a half hour or more? Is there a way to file a complaint with the store manager? Those of you who understand the inner workings, what do you suggest I do?

I genuinely don't know how she has survived up to this point or how she ever became a pharmacy tech. She's bizarre. She's emotionally immature. She's completely clueless. She's incompetent. She can't do one simple thing properly. She doesn't sanitize dishes with bleach. She doesn't sanitize the sink with Ajax or bleach. She thinks just wiping it down with dish soap is enough. Why the actual **** is my store open on Christmas Day??? Please, like I need to know some conceivable reason. Who in corporate thinks there will be more than 10 customers in the store total that day? The only reason I could think of would be the pharmacy for people’s prescriptions, but they get to be closed. So genuinely, why why why why why?

I saw these signs in the parking lot. I’ve never seen them before. Does anyone know when these went up and if they’re being enforced? Parking downtown is getting really expensive, it’s frustrating

We’re on a roadtrip and forgot to carry fodzyme tablets with me. It kinda helps me with garlic/onion-heavy foods. My first line of defense is avoiding anything with sketchy/triggering ingredients but I’ve gotten into the habit of taking a tablet anyway to play safe. I have 2 capsule remaining in my emergency stash and Amazon doesn’t do prime shipping where we’re headed for the next 4 days. Been with CVS as a tech for two years. Got my PTCB cert and imz cert, work 40-45 hrs a week but still barely getting by. Work at other stores for extra money. I make $19.56 but I have coworkers who do much less work than me as lead techs getting paid $24, $27 even. Have asked many times about getting promoted, even asked district manager, checked online for positions… any advice?

Hi, I went to pick up my prescription yesterday that is typically a very expensive medication. I got confirmation that my medical insurance approved a prior authorization for it, so it would be little to no cost to me. But when I arrived at the CVS it was the original price (~$800) and the pharmacy tech said it wasn't covered. The pharmacy was closing so I had them hold it, but we discovered that the insurance information was incorrect. Fast forward to today, I used some time on my lunch break to change the information in person. I tried to do so on the phone but I was stuck talking to a robot that didn't help at all. I need to get this off my chest. I got all of my meds and supplies for stims through a specialty pharmacy. Now I'm starting PIO 12/14 and the prescription was sent through CVS. I picked up the prescription and didn't check the bag until I got home and noticed they didn't give me any syringes or needles to actually inject the medicine. Called them the next day and was told I need a separate prescription for the needles and syringes. Just a very frustrating phone call. Is this a normal thing for CVS and has anyone else experienced this?
