why can’t my pharmacy have one friggin week with no callouts, never mind 2-3+ i’m so tired rn, i have more gray hairs than when i started, my head hurts, i love my job and my store but i’m seriously over it. i need to work 6 days again this week because of it. it’s fine. but so many shifts to cover because someone quit today. one of the ones who was calling out randomly so… whatever. it ***** but it is what it is. anyways if anyone’s in bk/nyc and wants extra hours on the next schedule lmk 🙃🔫 i have lots of open shifts

I was terminated from my position because the pharmacist felt as if I would not make it to my 90 days even though I've been asking questions, doing my absolute best, and taking notes. I went to check the status of my application to Five below, and it says I have no applications. Picked up my script from CVS a few days ago. The ones I’ve been taking every day since I got the script did not look like this. Today I took one out and this is what it looked like so I dumped the bottle and started looking at the rest of them. Half of them looked completely normal but the other half looked like the one in the picture. This has never happened to me before and it’s… alarming to say the least? Which job is better, in the pharmacy?

Krogers, Walmart, Walgreens, Aldi ect. We picked up a CVS shop today where one of the stores was less than a block away, the Aldi grocery store shop about 6 blocks, but the CVS we had to shop was halfway across town. Then drop off was back towards the beginning. I've had Kroger shops given in the parking lot of other Krogers that are closer to where I am than where the shop is. Plus, if we could shop at the place we want, we could avoid problems, like the pre-Easter shops where we knew they were out of eggs at certain stores.

Hi! So I’ve (21F) have been working at Walgreens as a pharmacy tech for a bit over 2 years. But about a year in maybe I have been having like really bad sleep issues. Like I cannot hear my alarms and even if I do, I fall right back asleep and cannot get up to save my life. So, as you can imagine, this is causing a lot of problems for me to get to work on time. The new AI phone menu system is UNACCEPTABLE. I am leaving this pharmacy and according to my local Walgreens I’m not the only one leaving for this reason. This phone system is absolute garbage. I’m 22M, I’m in training to be a store manager at (“failing”) large pharmacy company. I may stay here, depending on a conversation with my district manager in the next few weeks. I don’t think that conversation will go positively, my competitors are offering me more money for the same job, and I’m interested in what’s the best place to go from here? I like working in retail but at the same time I want something more. Sure it feels reliable and pays the bills but I don’t feel like I’m doing anything that a high schooler couldn’t. I did it. I got my out from retail and landed a WFH job 😭 I was sure I botched the interview but I got a call from the recruiter last night and the offer today. It’s an hourly pay cut, but comes with so many lifestyle improvements and I’m so excited to actually be doing something other than retail pharmacy. Also got an offer from CVS for $10 more per hour, floating, and 30 hours a week. The choice is a no brainer right?

so recently I left a cvs pharmacy as a pharmacy tech do to having issues with a pharmacist who liked to pick and choose when the rules applied to her employees. tried transfering befoe quitting but the pharmacist kept making excuses to not do the transfer.
