I've posted (probably) about how crappy the pharmacists at my store are. Today, a customer asked if a certain medicine is safe for a two year old. I told them to ask the pharmacist as the medicine didn't have anything written on it about age and I sure as heck wasn't giving out recommendations. Pharmacist told her that they don't know anything about OTC meds and to go ask a cashier. Just.. what the ****? The customer, rightfully upset by the lack of assistance, left the medicine at the counter and told the cashier he wasn't comfortable buying medicine for his young child without a professional letting him know if it is safe or not. Let me preface this by saying that they are completely efficient and nice people. Im fairly new to working pharmacy, but I’m proficient at performing all the tasks required out of a technician. My coworkers are efficient people who get everything done and make sure our lines, triage, and production queues are done and empty, including helping me when I’m stuck. I think my issue comes from, not them being good workers, but just not social ones. I see this more in the people my age compared to my older coworkers. A few weeks ago, a new acquaintance asked me if I was ready to date. I said no. Then I recently got sick with shingles. For those who don’t know, the pain is indescribable, constant and all over. Been on HRT for a few years, and started off with a functional medicine doctor who prescribed 20/80 Biest cream. Was ok for 3 years and recently experienced breakthrough symptoms (Insomnia was the biggest symptom), so saw a NP from Midi who prescribed generic Divigel. I can tell it's doing something positive for me, but have been reading on this forum that different brands may be more effective. The brand I am currently using is Ani, but I have heard great things about Xiromed and Trigen. I just called Walgreens (which is my go to pharmacy) and was just told they only carry the Ani brand. Does anyone know what the policy is on working alone in the store. I'm a shift lead. Our pharmacy is closed and I was the only one in the store because my CSA called out last minute. No one could come in, tried our pharmacy techs and other stores even. It didn't seem safe to have only one person in the event of a medical emergency or a robbery or something. I was feeling good this morning, despite having symptoms and waiting 3 weeks for my new birth control ring to avoid my period (WHICH STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED AT ANY ****** PHARMACY BTW), only to sit down in my car, ready to go to work and have an immediate STAB. I have worked varying flavors of customer service in North Carolina since 2013. I have worked in pharmacies, in grocery stores, gas stations, and fast food. I have worked in Greenville, Wendell, Zebulon, Franklinton, Rocky Mount, Henderson, and of course all over the triangle area. I do genuinely enjoy customer service. It’s not easy, even when it’s simple, and the pay/benefits will never match a white collar job, but I enjoy interacting with wide varieties of people. I love the feeling of “passing on” positivity. Hi all I am taking 100mg sertraline and have been used to getting pills from the Granules Pharmaceuticals manufacturer. Recently I’ve gotten pills from Lupin and I did not enjoy taking them. I already have an issue taking pills, and this particular manufacturer does not coat their pills! I’ve had these stick to my throat or begin to dissolve on my tongue. I will repeatedly have a burning sensation for hours after if this happens. I’ve spoken with the pharmacist at CVS twice and gotten a different story both times. I am at the end of my rope and turning to Reddit hoping someone can help me. I have a 2024 Subaru Impreza Sport that I bought in March 2024. Every once and awhile it won't start. Lights come on, electric comes on, vents come one, but engine does not start. This has happened 8 times over the course of the last 6 months. No warning that it will happen. Does anyone have recommendations for pharmacies in west la? I currently go to the cvs in Venice and my last 4 prescriptions have all been significantly delayed. A lot of cvs’s near me seem to have similar issues/really bad reviews.

cvs in montgomery village always has issues and the longest lines/wait times. their staff always looks overwhelmed and defeated, it makes them kinda rude and dismissive. i **** going there. anyone know a better cvs or pharmacy in the montgomery village/gaithersburg area.
