Okay since my first post was deleted because I mentioned the pharmacy store. For over a year I have been picking up my vyvanse at this pharmacy. Every time I picked it up, there would be no charge because my insurance covers 100% of it unless there’s a generic version available. In September, they filled a 90 days prescription. I went to pick it up. As usual they handed it to me and said “all covered have a good night”. I left and went on with my life. November, I’m almost out so I got a new prescription from the doctor faxed to them. I called pharmacy to let them know a new prescription should be there and I would like them to fill it for another 3 months. Pharmacists said “oh...

Just got my son three vaccines he needs for school. Asked for copies of the records to give to his school. They gave me three copies, but included were two complete strangers prescription records. I know it’s a HIPAA violation, but is anyone going to be fired for this? Obviously I have to do the right thing and return them, but then what? Record the interaction? Ask for a follow up? I am so worried the man will be fired for a mistake. A large mistake, but imo an innocent mistake because there are three people working the pharmacy and the line in store AND drive thru is insane. God I **** CVS. I can't refill thru the automated phone system or online because it's not technically a refill. It's filling a new prescription with a doctor's note to not fill it until XX date. You have to call and talk to a pharmacy technician to fill the prescription. The problem is getting thru the phone system to talk to an actual technician. As soon as you mention the word refill it directs you to the automated refill process. I've tried every word or combination of words and phrases I can think of. I've been taking methylphenidate LA for years. Even when the shortage started I was somehow able to get my meds filled. Finding it next to impossible to now after reaching out to over 100 pharmacies especially in South Jersey. Are other people getting hit as badly as I am at this time?
