Get assessed by an expert that is a *checks notes* pharmacist!2h agoThe Worst Little Whataburger In Texas2h agoFixed one typo. Manure there’s more. I’m to tired, and my blood sugar is way too low now to mess with you anymore tonight. If I think of it, I’ll repost any corrections on one of own subreddits and reference this one. I was an auditor for the government for a couple decades. I specialized in Medicaid provider fraud examination and investigations. I’ve traveled all over the state over the years. And this one Whataburger continues to destroy the Whataburger brand. It’s the one in Austin, Texas at 1908 W Ben White. I don’t know who is over that one but I’ve had maybe two visits since either I came here in 1998, or they opened, whichever came first that were good. I just had one ... Should I stay or should I go?2h agoFor context: I (36F) have worked for Wags for 5+ years now, more than half of it as a pharmacy tech. I never planned to work in the medical field, but I gave it a try and found I really enjoy the variety, learning about medicines, and (for the most part) interacting with patients. Up until recently, I've also been blessed with great coworkers, direct supervisors, etc. I earned my certification this year and have worked up to approximately 30 hours so I can make as much as possible (PTO, save for a vacation etc.) while I figure out my future career path. The other day, I was called into the office by our new store manager and basically told I was an "average worker," wh... Pharmacist pay warning4h agoI just found out that the bare minimum for a pharmacist in my university hospital system is 109K and most likely doesn't extend to 180K a year. Why am I mentioning this now? many people ask why pharmacy and they think a hospital setting is better when it's precipitously worse. I would wager that providing needed care to rural or inner-city communities is a better use of your answer than to work at a hospital, they overstaff, underpay and overwork you, so you have to be honest a bit. For reference, CVS/Walgreens pays 124K/year bare minimum to the pharmacists and if you have been there a long time beforehand you can negotiate higher Asia travel5h agoHello! I am heading to Asia this year and I wanted to see if anyone had any experience living/travelling there and purchasing diapers for bedwetting. Are they easy to find in stores/pharmacies, and are the brands/quality the same you would find in Europe or North America? Specifically I was looking into Thailand, but if you have information about other counties in Asia that would be useful too as I would like to continue travelling in the area in the future. Will we have to pay this all back since we had a premium tax credit?6h agoI am in a strange tax/health insurance related predicament and am looking for advice. I work at a very well known grocery store in the state of VA, been there for years and had health insurance through them. I have an autoimmune disease that I am on meds for life for that I have been able to get with this company’s insurance very easily. It’s a biologic medication, so it costs thousands out of pocket, it’s also a shot I have to give myself 2x a month so each month I have to get it refilled through a specialty pharmacy. October 2024 I had a baby. The group/company/whatever that my job uses for employee benefit stuff is called Associate Connect. It’s who we are supposed to call if ... Is Two Years Enough?7h agoIs two years enough to know that you won’t be elevated at a company? I work at Publix (grocery store) and have been here for two years. A few months ago, I left Florida and transferred to a new state with the company. I went from $15.50 to now $17.80 and hour. I have coworkers from my old store (that started after me) making $19-$20 an hour. I feel like I’m doing something wrong here. My raises have been bad despite my previous manager telling me I was “the best” he had in my position. I’m sure he was BSing me lol. New store gave me an even lower evaluation which means a lower raise… Shouldn’t we be constantly going up with a company? I feel like I’m wasting time here. A ... My name at CVS is permanently linked to my stalker8h agoI'm posting here out of desperation because I have tried to get this issue fixed literally for years. I live in a location where my pharmacy choices are somewhat limited but I am at the point where I can't receive medication from CVS anymore. Almost a decade ago I visited CVS with a friend and they used their CVS card when I picked up my medication. I don't need to get into the story, but in time this person became my stalker. Every time I pick up my medication, the checkout screen asks if I want to apply "Stalker"'s Extracare card to my order. I tried fixing this by getting my own card, I have called Extracare support several times, I have called the pharma... Order status8h agoHello. So on Sunday the 16th my prescription was ready for pickup however due to transportation at the time I scheduled it for delivery. Since then I haven’t gotten any updates besides it still saying scheduled for delivery. I have no idea where my prescription is and I also live on a military base and now worried they weren’t able to get on and it’s lost. What can I do on this case? Is there anyway for the pharmacy to track it or if it may still be available for pickup in store? Or should I reach out to my doctor who prescribed it for help? I tried calling the pharmacy many times and no answer. I plan on going tomorrow How to clip weekly ad coupons?9h agoI recently downloaded the CVS app for deals, but I am a bit confused about the weekly add section. Some items have the coupon clip item icon that you can click and save to your card. But for the ones that don't, like the Old Spice product in the screen shot, how do I use them in store if I can't clip on the app? Old parts of Folsom you remember that no longer exist9h agoI lived in Folsom from 2001 up to 2011. Here's everything I remember about the town that has changed throughout the years: -The Walmart Supercenter used to be a traditional 90s Walmart. -Next to Walmart was PayLess Shoes, Chase, Office Max (later WiseBuys and the 99 Cent Store), and Food Source (later 24 Hour Fitness). There was also a Blockbuster, half of which became a Schools credit union and the main portion now a restaurant (it sometimes was used for the annual Spirit Halloween stores). -The Denny's in the Kohls shopping center was a Red Robin. There was also an Italian restaurant there called String's. -The Cave (next to DMV) was Dimple Records. There was also a toy sto... CVS steps between doctor and patient, UNETHICAL? You bet!9h agoMy doctor prescribed Zepbound for me, sent the scrip to my local CVS. I go to the store to see if everything's okay, woman at the consultation counter says scrip the doctor sent is for Wegovy. She swears my doc sent it as Wegovy. I know for a fact that he did not order Wegovy. I call my doctor to double check. Meanwhile, people at the CVS pharmacy are CALLING my doctor to try to get him to switch the prescription. What the actual ****. Turns out CVS made a special deal with Noro, the maker of Wegovy. So they change prescriptions and try to push it on customers? Wegovy and Zepbound are NOT the same. She says on a Thursday, "I am ordering Zepbound for you, should be here t... Not necessarily for management, such as SM --> DL, but if you wanted to join a corporate department how does that work? Certain companies I've worked for in the past waive degree requirements for a lot of corporate roles if you are an internal hire and perform well. Does CVS do anything similar? How to travel with a GLP-111h agoWith the holidays coming up (which-how did that happen already??), here are some quick tips for traveling with your GLP-1. These meds aren’t your typical pills, so they need a little extra care on the go. **1. Pack meds in your carry-on** GLP-1s are sensitive to temperature and sunlight. Plane cargo holds are technically temperature-controlled but not insulated, so it’s safest to keep your pens in your carry-on. **2. Keep your meds in a separate liquids bag** You can bring a GLP-1 through airport security. TSA might scan them separately since they’re liquids so keep them in a clear plastic bag. Bring the original box (if you have it) so agents can ID them easily. **3. Pack meds ... scheduling app???11h agoWhat scheduling app does cvs use? And who am I supposed to reach out about getting access to it. My training manager sent me a screenshot of my training schedule that covers only week and a half. Who am I supposed to reach out about this. She also told me she was gonna come to my skills store and meet me in person if I had any questions and she never showed up lol. I feel so lost with this whole new hire process What skincare should my husband bring back from Rio/São Paulo?11h agoMy husband is traveling to Brazil, and I want to give him a quick list of **easy-to-find skincare** to bring back. Are there any local brands or specific products worth purchasing from regular stores or pharmacies in Rio/São Paulo? Looking for fun, unique Brazilian products that are actually accessible, not super fancy boutique stuff. Thanks! Just transferred, and was wondering about the test.11h agoHello. Not sure if this has been asked before, but i just transferred to pharmacy from a different department in my store. And I was wondering about the test i need to take to go from training to being actually certified. I know it said I have a year to do it. But is there an actual online class I take?? And do i have to wait a certain amount of time till i can start, or is it something I can start right away? ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
