Everybody saying it’s easy to get a job and I have been rejected from EVERYBODY. I had an in person interview with cvs and Walgreens and got rejected from both. I’ve applied to countless other pharmacies including different cvs/walgreens, and nothing. Everyone wants experience, but how am i supposed to get it if no one will hire me :( I’m going 10 months no job now, and I’m not giving up on being a tech bc I’ve put too much work in it already. I just feel defeated fr.

I was dashing today and I got this order. I didn’t accept it, but I was really confused on what it was. Does anyone know what it is? Is it literally just taking photos of the shelf?

This was my first visit, and I wanted to share my experience, basics and goals. I had been looking for a clinic to make an annual visit to. My skin is “mature”, oily, starting to get age spots on my cheeks. Other than occasionally using sunscreen I didn’t have a skincare routine. Growing up I could not spell cycle vomiting syndrome so if I want to learn about condition I just type in CVS which (at least back then, not sure now, since it been drill into by the web not to use the abbreviation) it world bring up link after link for the CVS store. The hatred I grow up with for a store I’ve never even been to was crazy 😂 all the anxiety I was facing, would turn into frustration the moment I saw that store pop up.😂

I avoid the gym, bars, CVS, farmers markets, public parks, the pool, dine in restaurants, Target, clothing stores, etc. I go to grocery stores and wal mart only if its an hour before they close. I avoid grocery stores that don't have self check outs. I only do take out from restaurants where I can pay online and preferably has a to go shelf (little Ceasars is amazing). I feel much more comfortable doing to go orders from restaurants owned by first generation immigrants (e.g. Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Lebanese, Greek). No one takes a 15 except some of the technicians (who don't take the full 30) at lunch. Everyone is afraid of ruffling the feathers of our staff pharmacist by taking one, so no one does. But here's the thing--that is your right. While I agree that breaks have to be taken intelligently, and that also means staggering them, I don't understand why this very vital policy isn't being followed. It's not just a courtesy; regular breaks is official policy. At my current store, my manager requires the pharmacist to perform a triple count on all controlled substance prescriptions after they are filled. In contrast, my previous manager was comfortable with technicians double-counting CIII–CV medications, while CII prescriptions were double-counted by technicians and then verified by the pharmacist with a third count and a back count of the stock bottle. I find the current expectation somewhat frustrating at times, especially when it involves hazardous controlled substances like clonazepam.
