Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyBeaker quality Europe (Austria, brand UNiTWIST)4h agoTLDR at end So the thing is I wanna try mixing buttermilk with juice at some specfic ratios myself (and also mb some other stuff at some point) after trying some store bought passion fruit butter milk, and my idea for getting measuring equipment with which I could do that somewhat accurately at least would be using beakers. Since I wanna mix food, I should obviously get new beakers. Now the thing is, I don't really trust Amazon beakers and haven't heard all that many good things about them, and with most of them being around 20€ for 1l they aren't exactly dirt cheap either. And at lab-shops online in my country their prices are sometimes also around 30 Euros for a... People switching to English despite fluent Italian10h agoCiao a tutti, I've been to a trip to Italy recently and really enjoyed my experience and was also excited to put my language skills again into practice (I plan on taking the B2 exam in June). But I noticed that some/many staff are answering in English in spite of me initiating the conversation in Italian. And I speak fluently, it's not like that people would gain anything in speaking English with me (or would lose time talking to me in Italian, on the contrary actually). For example, I was asking a person working in a mall where another store is. They switched immediately to English, struggled, asked their colleague next to them to find the right words, and then answered me. I ap... I QUIT!!!!!! Rant + My story and why CVS is good for students12h agoI came to the US in 2019 on a green card but only started in CVS in 2020. I worked there for two years while going to Community college making $15/h part time and getting $3k a year in student aid which I would use to travel back home every summer :) 2022 I quit to move for a 4 year university I wasn't working during my semester but was working as a a mountain guide in the summers to save some money. Now in Dec 2025 I finished my degree as an engineer and we all know the job market was **** so I went back to my store and got hired full time making $20.50/h. Fast forward to two days ago and it was officially my last day because I start my engineering career in a week! Anyway, CVS as a ... Thinking of moving to the Berkshires around the Pittsfield area. Would love honest feedback!12h agoHi all! Single mom of two (6 & 8) currently living in Vermont and seriously considering a move down to the Berkshires. I’d love some honest feedback from locals/parents! I’m already very used to small-town, “nothing is nearby” life… but from what I can tell, the Berkshires feel like a *major upgrade* 😅 Like… you guys have actual stores?? A real Target?? Not a sad micro Target the size of a CVS?? I’m jealous already. I used to live near Boston and loved Massachusetts, but realistically I’m priced out of anything remotely close to there. The Berkshires seem like that sweet spot of affordability + still having access to things (Albany <1 hr, Boston \~2, ... [FICNAP] - The Forbidden Fruit Pharmacy13h agoIt finally happened; I got u/JulianSkies for a ficnap. He's got way too much really good stuff to pick from, but there was one that I thought might be really fun and that he might like to see. Thanks to SP15 for NoP, and thanks to [u/Giant\_Acroyear](https://www.reddit.com/user/Giant_Acroyear/) for running the Ficnap every time. [Forbidden Fruit](https://www.reddit.com/r/NatureofPredators/comments/132g2ud/the_forbidden_fruit_pharmacy_a_one_shot/) \--- The holopad’s news feed droned softly from beside the register, the anchor’s voice flattened into that polished, professional cadence people used when they wanted bad numbers to sound temporary. “—continued erosion in public... Which Pharmacy in the city isn’t struggling to fill orders?14h agoMy original pharmacy was the Walgreens on Geary that shut down. I was transferred to the one on Market and 9th street and it’s been an absolute ******* nightmare getting prescriptions filled there. The wait times are longer than 30 mins even when I come in right when they open and run to the front of the line. I’ve waited up to 1h20m before and even then they still didn’t have my meds ready despite the app saying so. Calling them is also a horrible experience because the AI bot that answers takes 5 whole minutes before redirecting me to the actual phone line only to be put on hold for 20+ mins or them never picking up the call. I’ve left my phone on hold while I did other things befo... Experiences with Kalorama Pharmacy?15h agoI've been a happy CaryRx customer for years (NB **** you, CVS pharmacy) and gutted to find out that they're closing up shop next week. In their closing announcement message, they said that they'd be transferring all prescriptions to Kalorama Pharmacy unless instructed otherwise. Does anyone have experience with them? Online reviews seem good. I like that they're independent and can do compounding and pet meds. They don't seem to have an app like Cary, so I'll have to get in touch about any issues the old-fashioned way. The one thing that I absolutely need is mail order -- I manage my elderly mother's medications, she can't drive any longer, and I can... Pride flag removed at the pharmacy at Safeway on Hover17h agoFor years, this Safeway had a small pride flag in the store pharmacy. The flag was removed recently (I understand, due to a complaint). I told the pharmacy department manager and the store manager that I would stop shopping there if the flag was not restored within a month. The store manager said he had escalated the issue to the legal department. After a month, the flag is still missing. Mom wants to go to Mexico but won’t get another Measles shot17h agoAround April 1 at O’Hara international airport there was a suspected case of measles. Told my dad this he didn’t listen and went without getting another shot and didn’t mask. My mom is 49F and gets respiratory illness easily. She wants to go July but also told me she doesn’t want to get the MMR vaccine. She was born 1975 in the United States. I’m guessing she has had the shot as a baby but that was decades ago. She’s going to the same airport and terminal where my dad went where the suspected measles case was identified. She won’t mask either. What are the chances my mom could get measles when she goes. I already got the MMR shot at CVS pharmacy on my own. I worry she won’t l... Fart Can Seaon17h agoFART CAN SEASON Now that nicer weather is upon us, the souped-up sports cars are out in full swing! You know the cars…. with the fart can mufflers that are so loud and disturbing! I live in a fairly quiet neighbourhood that has a long stretch of straight road that these cars love to rev up their engines, the louder the better. Across the street is an L-shaped strip-mall with about 10 mom & pop stores (a pharmacy, a burger joint, a bank, 2 convenience stores, a florist, a donut shop) and last summer about once a month, approx. 100 of these fart can cars would congregate and disrupt the whole area. The 4 corners of this neighbourhood are packed with cars, reviving up their fart cans... dress code for training?17h agotomorrow’s my first day at a SDS store, i’m training as a pharmacy tech. my past two pharmacy jobs we just wore whatever. i know CVS requires scrubs but they just ordered mine yesterday. what should i wear for training in the mean time? is there a dress code i need to follow while i wait ? tysm A failure and a success17h agoFirst, the failure: Don’t be a goober like me. 😅 I was desperately craving chips. Dreaming about them even. I was in the grocery store and on a whim looked in the chip aisle. Found! Potato chips with only olive oil and sea salt. Y’all, I was blinded. I forgot that potatoes are on the no-no list (latex fruit syndrome). Cue tongue swelling and throat itchy, difficulty swallowing, and itchy skin. So, epi pen, 911, a ride on the booboo bus (or krankenwagen if you feel fancy), IV Benadryl, then some other fancy stuff at the ED and 3 scripts sent to the pharmacy. The icing on the forbidden cake was a very very very expensive uber ride to get the 1.5 mile ride back home. ON TO THE SUCCES... Scheduling17h agoIve been a Shift lead at Walgreens for a year and ive never had the same schedule twice i go from 40 plus hours to as low as 10 hour one week. I work pharmacy up front, open, close, everything in-between, but never similar hours each week. Does any other store do this Customer question about prescription records17h agoHi all, hope you don't mind a customer question. I'm trying to get proof of my medical expenses so it can be factored into some Medicaid/SNAP related stuff. I was misinformed (lied to) by my state DSHS about what medical deductions I could submit, so for the past few years I haven't bothered saving my prescription receipts. Then I was told that Rx copays could be factored in, but I'd need to get a print out of the last 3 months of my Rx history directly from the pharmacy and the pharmacist would need to sign it. So I did. And now DSHS is saying it's insufficient because "it doesn't show what I paid and what my insurance paid", even though it clearly do... I duped polishes I was tempted by at a department store for less than half the price18h agoI went through a local department store where they were selling discounted buckets of nail polish and found 3 polishes that were super close to polishes I wanted from Holo Taco. I got the whole lot for like AU$25 during a clearance sale (lucky for me browns and yellows aren’t popular). Meanwhile 3 Holo Taco cremes would have cost me around AU$60 plus shipping. The shades were 1. 2 coats of Revlon Ultra HD Snap 013 Basic (with HT lunar unicorn skin on my ring finger) 2. 3 coats of Essie Bordeaux 3. 2 coats of Revlon Ultra HD Snap 002 Makin’ The Most (with HT Coin Toss on my ring finger) They’re not exact dupes, but close enough to satisfy me. I actually prefer that the Essie shade ... Bird vet & pharmacy recommendations for someone moving to the area?18h agoI'm moving back to the area after a 20+ year break. (I'll be attending Cal Poly Humboldt in the fall.) My wife and I have a couple of cockatiels and will need to find a vet for them. Any recommendations? Additionally, both of us have CenCal Insurance and she's on a first name basis with our local CVS pharmacists. While we may or may not have a choice in medical providers, does anyone recommend a particular pharmacy? Or alternately would like us to avoid one? Heat Map 4/2418h agoCrazy day for tech! How did everyone do today? I want to digitize some old 8mm and Hi8 videos. Want to cover all my bases.18h agoSo I have about a dozen or so 8mm and Hi-8 videos from when I was a teenager. I made a bunch of movies on them with friends and now I want to watch them again. I still have the old camcorder I used to make them (an old Proscan) but after bringing it out from the back of the closet, looks like it's eating my tapes and now the slot for the tapes to go into won't close at all, so it looks like using that with some adapters is out of the question. I looked on Amazon and found a couple of old camcorders bundled with adapters for close to $400. Pretty expensive. There's a local family owned camera shop that can digitize them for about $25-30 dollars per tape. Kind of expensive... I want to digitize some old 8mm and Hi8 videos.
