Hello, I just got a job with the call center, starting this month! I have a few questions. For one- what are the schedules ongoing? Training is 7-3/330 or something like that. For two- do you get any holidays off? I did read that the stores are open, so I’d assume the call center is open. For three- if I wanted to switch to a store after being at the call center how long would I have to work at the call center for? Is it worth it? I did read you can kind of pursue being a pharmacy tech in this manner pretty easily. Thank you so much for the insight!

I have been on Adderall since June 2012. The change in my daily life was astonishing! I could actual be functional instead of locked-up, struggling and wanting to just bury my head in the sand. But then fast-forward to 2022… my Adderall started changing. Initially, it was inconsistent. I’d have a normal batch and then the next batch would have little therapeutic benefit but tons of side-effects. I found myself taking half my normal dose (normal dose was 2 of the 30mg IR… one in the AM and one in the afternoon) and only taking my morning dose… and then months later, I had to start breaking that morning dose in half. In California, does anyone know the "quiz" clerks supposed to do, so they can send it to the BOP? I know before they only needed to a certain hours, but now the BOP wants them to do an exam. It's not the PTCB, but it's from the CVS system itself. Does anyone know how to do that? To keep it short, I just started working here a less than a month now and I feel like I’m thrown to the dogs. For reference, I work in a college area and the CVS’ typically hire college students like myself. My training mainly consisted of modules are barely any hands on training. The most I can do is pick up and filling pills. Asking anybody for help seems like a bother to them. Now Im upset because my hours are being cut at my home store because it’s supposedly summer time. Everybody saying it’s easy to get a job and I have been rejected from EVERYBODY. I had an in person interview with cvs and Walgreens and got rejected from both. I’ve applied to countless other pharmacies including different cvs/walgreens, and nothing. Everyone wants experience, but how am i supposed to get it if no one will hire me :( I’m going 10 months no job now, and I’m not giving up on being a tech bc I’ve put too much work in it already. Growing up I could not spell cycle vomiting syndrome so if I want to learn about condition I just type in CVS which (at least back then, not sure now, since it been drill into by the web not to use the abbreviation) it world bring up link after link for the CVS store.
