Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyEngagement survey lag?5h agoTrying to figure out if this is my store being ***, or CVS in general. I'm a wordy ******* so I tend to type out comments, and I swear to you I type a sentence and it takes AN ENTIRE MINUTE to load in what I typed. People from other stores in the area have noted that out systems are *especially* dire, though, so like--is this just *this store* being super laggy, or is this a universal experience? Transfer or new prescription...ritalin out of stock at pharmacy6h agohi all! newly diagnosed adult and just got my first stimulant prescription (methylphenidate/ritalin). i normally fill at cvs but with all the shortage stuff going on they said they'd have to order it and aren't sure when it'd come in (it's been a week and my doctor recommended trying a different pharmacy). called walgreens and they said they were out of stock in my whole city. finally found a small community pharmacy nearby that has it after a bunch of calls! now trying to figure out the best way to actually get the prescription there… do i ask cvs to transfer it over, or just have my doctor write a new one and send it directly to the new pharmacy? would love to know w... I built a chat interface where you can ask questions about your own spending history — here's what I actually act...6h agoFor AI-Powered Shopping Companion startup, I built an **AI assistant** that has full access to my purchase history and answers questions in plain language. Most common questions I actually ask: * "What did I spend the most on last month?" * "Which store gives me the best prices on X?" * "How has the price of eggs changed over the last 3 months?" * "Am I spending more than usual this week?" The interesting ones are the comparative questions: "**Was that a good price?**", because they require cross-referencing your history against the live price index in the same response. What surprised me: I once asked it things I never anticipated, like ... I used Gemini 2.5 Flash to parse receipts at scale. Here's what I learned about multimodal OCR in production6h agoFor my startup, I needed to extract structured data (item name, price, quantity, unit cost) from photos of receipts and from product images on the shelf; faded thermal paper, crumpled, bad lighting, the works. Key findings after thousands of test receipts: * **Single-pass extraction beats two-step pipelines.** Most setups use a vision model for OCR then a language model for structuring. Gemini does both in one call, faster and cheaper. * **Prompt structure matters more than model size.** Asking for JSON with strict field definitions dramatically outperformed open-ended extraction prompts. * **Thermal fade is the hardest edge case.** The model handles blur and angle well. Faded thermal pape... The idea was simple: snap a receipt or archive a shopping trip, and the app tells you if you overpaid compared to real prices at other stores nearby. The hard parts nobody talks about: * **Thermal paper fades**. Getting AI to read a crumpled, half-faded receipt reliably took way longer than I expected * **Normalizing product names** across stores is a nightmare ("Organic Whole Milk 1L" vs "Whole Milk Organic 1000ml" are the same thing — teaching a model that at scale is non-... Be my eye referral.9h agoMy code: 973v0pk. https://invitation.bemyeye.com/invitation/973v0pk?lc=en\_US I’ve been trying out an app called *Be My Eye* and figured I’d share in case anyone’s into small side tasks. It lets you pick store “missions” near you (like grocery stores or pharmacies), go in, and complete simple tasks like taking photos of products or answering a few questions about what’s on the shelf. Pay depends on the mission — I’ve seen smaller ones around $3–$4 that take about 10–15 minutes, but some may pay more depending on the store and task. There’s also a referral program — if you use my code when signing up, we may both receive a bonus depending on the app’s current off... I feel like I need a police escort!9h agoI just picked up 3 boxes from my local independent pharmacy after CVS couldn’t tell me when they’d have stock. It feels like a robbed a bank. Southern california10h agoim in Orange County, CA and I looked over 20 stores (walgreens / cvs) and none of them have the album yet. Anyone in this area knows somewhere selling them? The House That Hungers: Part 111h agoDavid Altrick, a man desperately trying to escape his past, arrived in the southern town of Morrow under a sky the color of sifted dust as a country song about forgiveness drifted from the radio, its hollow chorus echoing a faith he could not claim. He was not fleeing the law, but the careful geometry of his hands, each finger a tally of small violences, every decision a quiet theft from another’s life. Restlessness pressed behind his ribs, a need for escape brewed in his chest, and he longed for a place that would not demand answers. Mrs. Hargreeve, the local real estate agent, waiting at the gated entrance to David’s newly purchased property, pressed the keys into the palm of his hand... 📌 START HERE — High-Risk Credit Card Processing 101 (Read Before Posting)11h ago# What is "high-risk" processing? "High risk" is a label card networks (Visa/Mastercard) and acquiring banks use for merchants whose business model carries a higher likelihood of: * **Chargebacks** (customer disputes) * **Regulatory or legal exposure** (FDA, state-by-state legality, age-restricted goods) * **Reputational risk** to the bank * **Fraud** Being high-risk doesn't mean your business is shady. It means your category trips one or more risk filters at the bank level. # Common high-risk verticals If you operate in any of these, mainstream processors (Stripe, Square, PayPal, Shopify Payments) will likely close your account - often without warning, and ofte... Difference in minoxidil - is that normal?11h agoHi, I could use some help I bought a new minoxidil bottle and the color is different then the one I bought from my dermatologist at the clinic. Their minoxidil was made in the clinic and color was black, and all the minoxidil -black would fall down to the bottom of the bottle and it needed to be shaken before every use. The liquid would mix into a light gray and then I would use it. I only now realize that no other minoxidil looks like this, the one I got at the pharmacy is yellow and doesn't need to be shaken? Is one better then the other? Has anyone else had black minoxidil? The first one would also make my hair really greasy and had to be washed daily and with the store boug... Because I swiped my card offline in-stores over the last month and received only 1% cashback on those spends (including Apollo Pharmacy) and the MCC also belongs to the inclusion list. Can anyone confirm this? 2. Does the Swiggy HDFC card still provide 10% back on gold coins purchased via Instamart?
