CVS PHARMACY Locations

FDA declared the tirzepatide shortage resolved months and months ago. But my local CVS has been out of 7.5mg for 3 weeks. They keep telling me it’s supply chain issues and because of high demand. I've called 5 different pharmacies. Some have 5mg, some have 10mg, nobody has 7.5. My doctor says I can go up to 10mg early if I want, but that jump might be too much for me. Is this happening everywhere or just my area? I’m from MA

I’m trying to join the military and want to take care of a minor procedure (Less than 500 grafts + scar revision) before I go off to BCT. I’m planning on getting a minima procedure done to repair some scars and hair loss that are obvious and visible when wearing a military regulation haircut. When a surgeon performs the surgery and prescribes drugs, does it get logged into any system like Epic or CVS pharmacy?

Hey guys. So I used to work at cvs but I still want to shop and visit old coworkers. I was there as a customer last week and the ops manager threatened to call the police on me claiming im banned. I didnt leave on a good note with her...and finding out through a different manager today, im actually NOT banned. She was telling me I'm not allowed in the store, telling me the sm went as far up as telling hr I'm not rehirable at that specific location. She just got promoted and already expecting to be a smit in the near future. So what can I do? She lied and kicked me out of the store. She abused her position.

I'm incredibly lucky to be with a clinic that has been working on testing for POTS and I have started multiple meds that have been improving my quality of life EXTREMELY. My point of this post is to provide people with information and with hope that some relief may be possible eventually. Driving back from visiting a friend and I scored some incredible Valentine's clearance, PLUS I FOUND NOMI. I've never had great luck finding stuff at CVS (I don't find much squish stock at all in New England CVSss for some reason) but Nomi was there waiting for me, sitting on the top of the pile of Easter squish. I just moved to their pharmacy due to my insurance changing from Optum to CVS caremark. At least at Optum, they would send 9 pens and break boxes if necessary to get to a 90 day supply. Anyone have a mathematical formula that will let me tell my doctor so CVS will fill an exact 90 day supply and I can get the mail order discount. My math seems to believe 34 units per day would get me 10.2 pens, where they will round down to a 90 day supply maybe. Or should I ask my doctor to write 33 units for 9.9 pens? My lantus is 15-20 twice a day, they filled for 38 days (the rep count not tell me the math) and charged two copays. Hoping not to reinvent the wheel here. This company is super fr...

I have had my NHA certification since May 2025. I completed it by completed an online course, doing an externship at CVS, and passing the exam. I landed a job at Walgreens, but as a Shift Lead because of my previous management experience. I have been placed in the pharmacy, but not really. I have had trouble finding another related job ever since I got my certificate. Mostly because I live in an incredibly small area and I have to travel pretty far to find anything for work. I will be moving to a much larger city where there are so many more job opportunities. Are there any tips for finding a job with very little experience?

I’ve been using a local independent pharmacy and they’ve been great. Today I went to pick up my prescriptions and they told me the reimbursement from insurance is so low they won’t refill it anymore because they lose so much money. They suggested going to cvs. My experience with corporate pharmacies has been so poor. I vastly prefer independent pharmacies. Has anyone else had this experience recently?
