A few months ago, I became a Shift Rx, was made full time, and received a pretty significant raise. For the first month or so everything was great and I was working about 4-5 days a week between pharmacy and front store. The last few weeks, however, I have repeatedly been scheduled for less than 30 hours (usually about 3 shifts a week). During last winters scare about compounding stopping, I stocked way up on vials, and in the meantime, kept filling my pens through my pharmacy. Once I hit my deductible and they were essentially free. I realize this is a good problem to have, but now I have too many vials and pens that are going to be expiring. My vials are now a year old and still working totally fine. Look clear and no cause for concern, I have stored them diligently in a vial cold case in a stable refrigerator with an alarm on it so I know there are no temperature dips. I have a high-deductible insurance through my employer. The pharmacy is cvs specialty. In the past a few years I have been paying zero for hyrimoz. However, starting year 2026, i need to pay \~$10 for every order (2 pens). Even worse, I was told by sandoz copay assistance program that the max annual fund is $5250, and that they only cover up to $390 since the 3rd refill of current calendar year.
