CVS PHARMACY Locations

I have been begging my SM for going on 2 years to train me as a pharmacy technician. He offered it many times as an incentive, along with talks of promotion (sure..). My wife is on me to do this, I think I would do a great job. I keep asking and he tells me “I would love you, and everyone to be trained as techs, we just have to get the okay from the pharmacy manager” okay, I’m waiting, establishing good report and relations with all pharmacists, manager, and techs.. I just don’t know what more to do. Any advice is helpful. I really know this stuff well, and I excel in loyalty, and know most of our customers by name. I searched the board but didn’t find the answer. So apologies if this has been asked & answered before. So, does it actually matter? I’ve gotten conflicting reports from people at a couple different stores. Some say ignore it, others say go with FSOAR if it’s before that time. My pharmacy closes before the cutoff, so just curious if it really matters or if it’s some outdated thing. Also, curiosity - anyone know why that is/was? It’s a very strange restriction, never seen it at any other business.

This is both discussion & rant because I'm just at my wits end at this point. My refill Rx was sent to the pharmacy March 18th. March 29th I learn it wasn't filled, so I submit it to be filled. Now it's April 5th and they're still out of stock. Finally spoke with someone today and they won't have any until MAY 8TH. I can only use Walgreens with my prescriber - oh and unrelated but of course my job only covers prescriptions with CVS! - and I've called the others in the area, all are out with either no timeline or another absurd one. I give up. So how do I function now?

I am a CVS customer and would like to give a shoutout to the FS team at 9823 in Sacramento! The team at this store is amazing. I always receive exceptional service from them despite the fact that CVS corporate overworks them and doesn’t give enough manpower to staff properly. I am one of those couponers that a majority of you people in this forum talk **** about. I use this forum to help me try and be a better customer. Walgreens *****. CVS *****. Costco’s pharmacy mostly doesn’t ****, but going to Costco does. Are there any smaller, local, friendly pharmacies around that you can recommend?

I been on the hunt I know the major retailers and ones such as Walgreens/CVS/ Barnes and noble but I wasn’t sure if anyone has had any specific success at certain stores in or around the Orlando area or if there was any local type toy stores that get any?
