I applied for a pharmacy technician position at Jewels Osco a little over a month ago. I spoke with the pharmacist there, and they told me they do want to hire me, which sounded really promising. But it’s been over a month now and I haven’t heard anything back or gotten an official offer yet. I’m starting to wonder if I should be concerned or if this kind of delay is normal at Jewels? I really want to work there because my current job at CVS ***** and Jewels is walking distance from my house.

So I'm trying to work in the pharmacy as a tech and I'm slightly confused. How long does this process take to start working? I've done my interview, last week I got my offer letter, then I was sent the like 3 emails from the certiphi thing to submit document. I uploaded everything, did the document confirmation interview on their internal zoom portal, and I went to a drug testing facility to **** in a cup. It's been 5 days and I got another email yesterday from certiphi stating a cvs employee has an appointment with certiphi and me attatched as a cc. Nothing since then. For the past couple of months, I have (actually my pharmacy) been having a difficult time getting my Humalog U200 prescription filled. The CVS pharmacy that I deal with indicates that their supplier is not supplying the stuff despite their orders. My current problem is that my last refill request of 3 weeks is still pending. Is there some shortage out there for Humalog or is this a signal that I should change pharmacy providers? Is Humalog being phased out for something else? I'm a little concerned as Novalog does not work for me.

My friend started T and gave his doctors office his personal number for the pharmacy to contact when the T was ready. Instead they contacted my friend's mother (she has gotten medication here before) and left a voice mail saying his "cypionate testosterone" was ready for pick up. His family is extremely conservative (im talking MAGA flag in the front lawn and a confederate flag in the house) Bible thumping abusers with a gun that they are not legally allowed to carry. Is this something I can file a complaint for with CVS? Edit: when he picked up the T and told the pharmacist that they told his family member what medication he was on, the pharmacist all but brushed it off....

I just went to one of the new Target stores in California that opened up last weekend. They are now putting the produce in the front like a supermarket. Also the pharmacy is in the middle, similar to a Walmart supercenter. Will this be the new format now?

I’m not new to Walgrrens but a new pharmacy tech in training and I was transfers to a new store. It’s been almost three weeks and I dread coming in everyday I come in smiling and positive every day and every day I’m yelled at snapped at told I’m too loud that I don’t know anything and should not have been sent here I’m treated like a burden every shift the whole team talks communicated with each other but I’m treated like I should not talk at all . I’m treated so horrible I dude to be so confident and positive and now I’m just trying to make it through the day is this normal ?!

So I recently became an SMIT (I am hired external) the store is really far from me like it takes me a hour and a half to get there even later depending on traffic. So as of currently me and the SM don’t see eye to eye but they put me at this store on purpose because they know how structured I am. The SM treats me like a cashier and all I do is work the register since we had a disagreement on her recent transfer to the store and a team member quitting. i am a pharmacy intern that signed on as a grad intern however, I am still unsure if I am going to continue on with CVS. They are giving out pass naplex now for free and was wondering if anyone knows if there is any ties to this bundle. For example, If i do get matched to a residency program, and decide to quit, will I have to pay the money back ? Any information can help!

Today I called around. I’m located in the south USA. I called about 10 independent pharmacies to find another alternative pharmacy. All of these 10 said either, we don’t carry it or it’s not available. Even the generics. I’ve been using medfinder and all they churned was one Walgreens that “can order it” but I called them today and they couldn’t guarantee a time. My current local cvs has ordered it but it’s going on 12 days rn, and still no estimated eta. They can’t confirm allocation. I’m getting pretty ****** about my options. Hi all, my gf works for a small practice and they are losing their insurance due to unfortunate circumstances (this country), and so in the meantime, she will need to find her own provider until they renew with someone else. I wanted to know what individual plans and with whom people have found success with that isn't wallet crippling here for the Connecticut and Massachusetts residents and works well enough with Hartford Healthcare providers and CVS (though pharmacies are changeable I suppose) and who do rely on some medications month to month and whatnot.
