Pharmacy owners in Tier 3 cities. How are you growing? Looking for honest inputs5h agoSomeone I know owns a pharmacy store in a Tier 3 city of Gujarat. Been running it for almost 3 years now. The store isn't on a main road with crazy footfall, but there's a colony of \~400 households right across. Mostly Marwari families, relatively well-off, and they are regular customers. Classic profile: value-conscious, discount-seeking, but won't compromise on quality. A few genuine questions for anyone who's been in this space: **1. Is ₹1.25L/month avg revenue good, bad, or just okay for this setup?** He seems somewhat satisfied with it, but I personally think it's too low for 3 years in. Target should realistically be ₹3L+/month. Am I being too optimisti... Pharmacy owners in Tier 3 cities. How are you growing? Follow up post; The steps that helped me.7h agoThis is a follow up post, i wrote a few days ago about what remission has been like for me and i got comments to post about my recovery steps. 1. Therapy; I know a lot of us here are already in therapy. A few things about mine, Something that really helped me in particular was having specific goals for what I wanted to do. You will be tempted to believe that your life and mental health will improve once you start going outisde, so your every effort should be to getting you across the door, but i think focusing on improving my general over all mental health and well being while inside is what gave me the strength to be outside. Personally, i experienced a lot of anxiety and panic just being... S&P500 heat map for the past 1 month7h agoMaybe this will steer you in the right areas to look at... Hint: look at the red for the real deals. I finally stopped being the "Nice Girl" and now I’m the villain in everyone’s story. It’s the most peace...7h agoI spent years being the one everyone had "nothing bad to say" about. I was the pharmacy professional who never missed a deadline, the friend who listened to every drama, and the person who stayed quiet while everyone else was loud. I thought that being respectful and "nice" was the price I had to pay for loyalty. I was wrong. I realized that being "nice" was just a free subscription I was giving to people who didn't even like me—they just liked what I did for them. I was a foundation for people who wouldn't even help me move a chair. The people who used to call me "so sweet" now call me "difficult" or "cold" beh... Quitting7h agoSo I’ve been a pharmacy tech for around a month and a half now; I started this job with no pharmacy knowledge and just customer service experience. I only took the job because I really needed one, and I had no luck with other employers. In all honesty, my experience here has been nothing but awful. I’m constantly stressed and I dread going to work. My lead tech has scheduled me outside of my availability multiple times, and got upset when I told her I wouldn’t be able to work those shifts. The pharmacy manager also expected me to do like 5 different things while completing my training modules as well. I know that it would’ve been impossible to learn everything in a month and I sh... Was your Mother’s Day what you wanted it to be or complete ****?10h agoI’ll go first ! My mom- always the best. Goes above and beyond. Made sure my first Mother’s Day was amazing. My husband, in almost every way since I’ve had our girl, disappointed me. Last month he asked if I wanted a spa day, my hair done, going to my favorite salon for a mani/pedi. The day before we went to the store to get my mother and sister flowers. He told me to pick out a bouquet. I told him I wasn’t doing that and he could go to the store in the morning. Mind you- we swapped places and I’m now back at work full time after 5 months and he’s now off the next 4 weeks. He said “do you know how crazy it’ll be tomorrow?”. I think he realized that wasn’t the right r... Is there anything similar to PolyMem I can get in stores/the pharmacy?10h agoI have a flare under my belly that has been open and draining for a few weeks. I’m constantly washing it to keep it free from sweat and even slept without bottoms on the other night to open it to air to try to dry it up. This has been a problem area since I had my son and now have an apron belly. The only thing that ever helped this area dry out and heal is PolyMem bandages that I got from the wound clinic. I can’t afford a box of these so I’m hoping some can recommend something similar. I have a hard time with some adhesives especially if I have to wear it for a few days. Anything is helpful! Buying vape in Perth, Australia (beside pharmacies & online store)10h agoI’m travelling to Perth, Australia in 10 days, but unfortunately bringing vapes into the country is prohibited. I don’t really want to smoke cigarettes as a substitute (although I can), because the smell lingers and I’ll be carrying my children most of the time. Ordering a vape online and having it delivered to where I’m staying also isn’t practical, since I’ll be switching accommodations frequently and won’t know exactly when the delivery will arrive. So my question is: Is there anywhere I can physically buy a vape besides pharmacies, which, from my understanding, require a prescription? I’ll be staying near King Edward Street on my first day there. Comparison with other retail pharmacies?10h agoI've been a pharmacy tech at CVS for about two months now and I'm already getting really burnt out from being short staffed every single day and having crazy hours on my schedule. I've been thinking about trying to find a job at a pharmacy somewhere like a supermarket, but I'm wondering if it's really that different. Has anyone worked in different places that can compare? At this point I don't know if I'd mind the pay being a bit lower, if that's even possible with my current wages. How I Successfully Got Yeztugo Injectable PrEP in Maryland (Step-by-Step Experience)10h agoAs a Marylander, I wanted to share my experience getting Yeztugo (lenacapavir) injectable PrEP because there’s VERY little information out there about how the process actually works. I originally thought this would be impossible because most regular PCP offices and even some infectious disease offices won’t do “buy & bill” for this medication due to the cost. One infectious disease doctor in Clinton, MD actually pointed me in the right direction and recommended going through a county health department PrEP/STI clinic instead. What ended up working for me: \- Howard County Health Department PrEP/STI Clinic \- Intake appointment + repeat HIV/STI labs \- Insurance coordi... Girlfriend had really weird freakout over what I consider a non-issue and I'm not sure how best to reassure her.11h agoTried posting this on another sub but it was removed, also using a throwaway for anonymity. Jen (26f) and I (26m) have been dating almost 2 years and it's been going really well overall, she is planning on moving in with me end of July when her lease is up. We haven't had any big fights or issues, this argument (?) came out of nowhere. Jen slept over at my place this past weekend and we were planning on having a lazy Sunday together. I woke up kinda late and she was in the bathroom, lounged around for awhile and then realized she'd been in there for a while so I knocked on the door and asked if everything was ok. She answered and said she got her period, and sounded pretty... 3 Weeks in Italy and more - Trip Report11h agoThis post is a long time coming but considering folks are likely trying to plan their own packing for a summer Euro trip, I thought I'd share my capsule wardrobe from my 22 day solo trip to Europe end of May to mid June, 2024. I had a month off in between ending a job and beginning a new one, so I spontaneously booked a direct flight (travelling from Canada) to and from Rome. I only had my accommodations booked for Rome and Venice and a rough plan when I left, but I ended up visiting the Vatican, Ljubljana, Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest as well. I took mostly trains, some buses, and one flight (from Budapest back to Rome to fly home). I booked as I went and never had any issues find... Stickers sold out12h agoI just went to 8 different stores near me (a mix of walgreens, cvs, publix, navarro) and everyone is sold out. haven’t experienced this for a world cup yet. crazy! What do I do now?12h agoI’ve posted in here before about my background check being sent to wrong email. I was able to get in touch with a pharmacy manager and she told me they she had the DM looking into it but i have heard anything since Friday. I called today and they said the new store manager isn’t in today (the one that sent me the first background check was just a temp and i guess she’s at her store now). What should i do now? i’m scared im being ghosted and I really want/need this job so i can leave the one im at now. Sun-drenched one bedroom in Astoria12h agoHello! June 1st move in, $3400/month. We have lived in this unit for 3 years and have loved the building and surrounding area! \- Laundry on each floor \- Parking garage in the building with spot for additional monthly fee \- Plenty of great restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, bars around \- 7 minute walk to N/W train, 2 minute walk to the Q100 and Q69 \- 10 minute walk to Socrates park and the waterfront StreetEasy link to contact the building agent: https://streeteasy.com/rental/5029770?utm\_campaign=rental\_listing&utm\_medium=app\_share&utm\_source=ios&utm\_term=1c63ef5cb6aa475 (We cleaned up the place a bit more after listing was posted on Str... What to expect in Acute Care when switching from retail (Walmart)12h agoHas anyone worked both? I just applied to an Acute Care Pharmacy Technician job at the local hospital and I have no idea what to expect. I’m so excited but I wonder how different it will be versus CVS/Walmart pharmacy. Anyone have any experience? Dracula13h agoThe first time they hit him, it wasn’t some movie scene with dramatic music and slow motion. It was quick. Ugly. A fist from the left side while he was halfway through saying, “I’m trying to get the money.” His cheek smashed against the inside of the Honda and for a second all he saw was white light. The guy driving never looked over. Rain tapped against the windshield. Old cigarette smoke hung inside the car thick enough to taste. “You’ve been trying for three weeks,” the driver said calmly. “Tony’s done hearing about it.” Matt pressed his tongue against the inside of his lip and tasted blood immediately. Metallic. Warm. He stared out the window at dark warehouses a... Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
