Living in America and having consistently prescribed medication/s has to be some sort of medieval humiliation ritual-style experience. Bear with me. I take Ritalin daily and have for about a year. This might be a different experience for ADHD-havers who don’t live in the US, but oh my god, why is it CONSTANTLY ON BACKORDER??!!! My prescription is due to be filled tomorrow but CVS told me they won’t have it until at least the 31st. Then the pharmacist told me to call around to local independent pharmacies and Walgreens’ instead because they’ll have different wholesalers for the drug. NO ONE HAS IT. WHY DO THEY ALL SOUND MAD AT ME FOR ASKING IF THEY HAVE IT? WHY IS IT ALWAYS ON BACK...

Yet again it’s my day off aka not working at the pharmacy. Yet CVs management thinks it’s okay to contact me and waste my personal time. Boundaries are important, stick to your boundaries during this time of the year. If I’m not on the clock, I’m not speaking to them.

So I’ve been working at a CVS inside of a grocery store. When I was hired I was hired on as a full time technician however I haven’t been getting full time hours without having to float to other stores. Hello all, I was supposed to start my new job in a pharmacy on 22/12/25, as stated in my employment contract. I had heard little to nothing from the company before this start date. They have also have been closed for over a month with the shutters fully down. I still decided to show up at 9am on the 22/12/25, but there was no one around and I didn’t receive any messages. I have just got a message from the recruitment team after chasing up them, saying the store won’t be opening until the end of January. I’m wondering what I can do, can I claim one month’s pay?
