CVS PHARMACY Locations

As title says. Today we are in the Galleria Lafayette and Eiffel Tower areas. I brought Dr Scholl's blister covers which work great but apparently I've been doing so much walking that I have to change them daily instead of every few days like I usually do, so I didn't bring enough 😭 I haven't really found a "convenience store" like CVS/Walgreens back home, so I don't know where to go to find something like this. Also if you have a recommendation for a particular brand of them, much appreciated as well!

Not sure where to start at this point because I have so much to say. For starters, I love my job as a tech at times, especially when it’s chill and steady. I have great patients and I have been a technician with Publix for 3 years (been with Publix for 4 years). i have bcbs, cvs caremark, and my copay for a 90 day supply is $125 😵‍💫 the pharmacy said the coupon code i gave them is only for people who don’t have insurance. is this true? is there anything else i can try? thanks so much in advance!!

I have been on Vyvanse for three months and it has made a huge difference. I’m doing better at work and my mood is much more stable. When I tried to refill it today, CVS (I live in Utah) told me that they would not be getting any more Vyvanse till June. Smith’s pharmacy doesn’t have it and Harmons pharmacy isn’t taking any more stimulant patients. Costco has it but it’s $176, which I cannot afford. Hi this is a question for the pharmacy technicians. I applied to CVS to be a Pharmacy Technician, I just did the interview yesterday and it went really well. I registered for the pharmacy trainee license right after the interview which the manager told me to do, and i’m just wondering what the next steps are. Do I have to wait for my states board of pharmacy to do something first before going further? Because I was told it would take 1-3 weeks for that to process, or does that even matter. Would the background check & the drug test be next after or how was it for you? Did you have to wait that long to move along in the process? Just wondering what the timeline is like, thank you.

So I guess this is a bit of a rant but also looking for advice. We are new to the T1D community and my 6 year old was just diagnosed in February of this year. We currently fill out prescriptions through Publix but I feel like the way they have been operating is just not ok. So I’m a shift lead and I’m feeling targeted by my store manager. I don’t know if I should contact hr because I have seen multiple times through out the 5 years iv worked here that when some one contacts hr the store manager is told about it then I feel like the store manager retaliates every time. Looking at a 2016 Jeep Patriot that a 90 year old woman bought new 10 years ago when she was 80 and drove a few miles every week to go to the grocery store and the pharmacy. Been told these cars aren't the best and that it's CVT transmission is sure to have issues. But since it's mileage is so low, would that theoretically reduce the likelihood of running into issues in the next couple years? Or is it more about the age of the transmission than the mileage? Can someone list major pharmacy stores in Pakistan through which i can order meds online. I know of dawaii.com and searched some on foodpanda. I need some specific meds so i am not sure how to go about it. I am based outside of Pakistan. And do we need prescriptions to get antibiotics while ordering online in Pakistan. Any other recommendations would help.

It seems like they are uninterested in keeping employees. They expect loyalty but it's not something they earn. Since things have just been getting worse since Sycamore bought Walgreens with stores being open again this Thanksgiving, pharmacies open on major holidays now, smaller raises given, hours being cut more and other bullshit corporate moves. But does the company even care if people quit? It doesn't seem like they do unless it's a mass resignation since they know you are easily replaceable. They have the attitude that if you don't like how we are running things, then you can quit and go work somewhere else then.

My CVS pharmacy has it on backorder for the past 3 weeks. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi, I've (29F) been trying to get into my work places LearnRx program (I work at Kroger) for 3 years now. I have no prior Pharmacy Experience, but I very very much would like to pursue this Career Path. I have made it clear to my HR I am interested in this and all I get is "you'll be the first to know when there's a spot open". Then someone from my department who had just started a month ago just got moved to the Pharmacy bc their parent works over there. I have been applying to other places like CVS or Walgreens with no luck either. I cannot afford to go to school or take classes for this and it's just very disheartening. I do not know what to do. Any advice?
