CVS PHARMACY Locations

The last time my local rural walmart had the pharmacy training program was a year ago. I sadly missed it. I want to do it more than anything as my CVS or Walgreens here does not do any training. I am an anxious person and kinda worried they will never do it again. I check daily for it. Another question, if they do ever do it again (do you think they will?), will I become certified or licensed? What's the difference in the two? And does walmart pharmacy pay well? Is this a medical career? Thanks! Also. If I get trained at walmart rx, could I eventually move up and work in a hospital pharmacy or can I only work at walmart with this training once done?

What is going on in Region 53 Division 09 ? Even though CVS acquired Rite Aid and script volume goes up continuously because of insurance requirements, there are massive budget cuts for the pharmacy. Our lines are crazy long and customers are always angry. Terrible toxic work environment. Our district managers are writing up pharmacy managers for going over budget and making all employees suffer by keeping stores understaffed. I know a lot of Pharmacy Managers who have approached the board of pharmacy to try to address this issue. This is unsafe for both customers and employees. I have completed my D.Pharmacy, and I am currently working as a pharmacist earning ₹11,000 per month. My license has not arrived yet. Hey all, I'm currently studying for my PTCE and am enrolled in a pharmacy tech certificate program at my local community college. I applied to Hannafords for a part-time tech position about a month and a half ago and just got a call back for an interview next week. I have zero pharmacy experience (coming from working in an office environment) but have been lurking in this sub for a while and know that CVS and Walgreens aren't the best environments. I was picking up my Eliquis prescription ($585 for 3 months) and I was talking to a white haired woman working in the front of the store. I’m switching up my protocol and will be doing MDLF protocol for my next egg retrieval. I’m probably self paying for meds so was trying to shop around. My clinic told me they usually order 10ml of compounded Lupron - estimating 1 day of Lupron then 9 days with Lupron + follistim and menopur. 20 units for 10 days. When I’ve submitted requests for Lupron at pharmacies, it’s the 2.8 vial. I had my nurse submit a prescription to CVS specialty and that’s also what came through. There is a folded coupon for that but not sure how that translates to the dosage how much I’ll need? Is that right? Or what should I be asking for pricing on? Okay. I have tried to fight the good fight. I spent 10 years with CVS. I spent a year doing MTM at a city/county-funded hospital system. I spent nearly 10 years doing LTC/Hospice. I tried to get **out** of pharmacy by earning a Master’s in Computer Science, but that degree is worth less than toilet paper at my current age. I’ve had enough, and I know a lot of you have, too.
