CVS PHARMACY Locations

Im a Shift lead at my store Ive been there for a year, and almost the entire time ive been working in the pharmacy. Im basically a tech to the point where they ask me for help and I train the new hires. However they refuse to let me train to be a tech cause they know im currently going to college. I make the same as all the other leads at 19hr despite being the only one who's required to be in the pharmacy

I am here on business. Retail brand: impress. The CVS had amazing impress nails (I went in for allergy meds and of course swung by the nails). There were cute cat eye and other styles I have never seen before on website. But what’s up with that? I go to impress website all of the time - same ole same ole - but then I see different very cute nails in actual brick and mortar retail establishments. I know this is probably normal for retail but WTF … how do I find those nails other than going into random stores? I guess my question is how does one find all impress press ons?

I was given the first MMR shot at the age of 1, in 1984. The doctor gave me the shot in my arm, and it caused a severe reaction which resulted in an overnight ER visit, and left my arm noticeably scarred for my entire life; it's like a large chunk of muscle is just missing from my left upper arm. After he got his medication I asked if he had some time to talk and he was extremely cool about it and he said he had a few minutes. We talked for a little bit and I thanked him for his buisness at the pharmacy and I asked to take a picture with him. I just got my Kisqali 400mg for the next cycle from the specialty pharmacy. First of all, it did not come refrigerated in a cooler as it has in the past, and the directions say it should now be stored a room temperature (tell me if I’m reading that wrong!). And the individual packages are huge! The pills are no longer arranged in a straight horizontal line by days left to right but stacked on top of each other with weird arrows going left and right based on the day—not very intuitive. Is anyone else super annoyed by these changes? I’m reminded I have cancer every time I take them. I don’t want to have to think and follow the weird arrows!

Hello everybody. I’ve had my appointment with PPWI today, and during that appt I had labs scheduled alongside a prescription for T sent out (LETS GOOOO!!!) The last time my local rural walmart had the pharmacy training program was a year ago. I sadly missed it. I want to do it more than anything as my CVS or Walgreens here does not do any training. I am an anxious person and kinda worried they will never do it again. I check daily for it. Another question, if they do ever do it again (do you think they will?), will I become certified or licensed? What's the difference in the two? And does walmart pharmacy pay well? Is this a medical career? Thanks! Also. If I get trained at walmart rx, could I eventually move up and work in a hospital pharmacy or can I only work at walmart with this training once done?

What is going on in Region 53 Division 09 ? Even though CVS acquired Rite Aid and script volume goes up continuously because of insurance requirements, there are massive budget cuts for the pharmacy. Our lines are crazy long and customers are always angry. Terrible toxic work environment. Our district managers are writing up pharmacy managers for going over budget and making all employees suffer by keeping stores understaffed. I know a lot of Pharmacy Managers who have approached the board of pharmacy to try to address this issue. This is unsafe for both customers and employees.
