Hi, I’m moving to the Bay Area this weekend and was hoping to chat with others about their experiences with getting stimulants here and how well they worked for them. I’m currently still living in Los Angeles and have been getting my Adderall from CVS and another small pharmacy. When I first got my prescription last month, I was a bit confused because I didn’t feel anything. I found that kind of strange because I took a break from stimulants for like 2 to 3 years so my tolerance should have been low after taking a break. Do you have any insights on generic Adderall or specific manufacturers that you’ve found to be effective? Any feedback is welcome! 🙏

hi guys, if you screenshot the CVS pick up barcode for the pharmacy can you keep reusing it or does the barcode change each time? I was told you can reuse but someone told me today that it changes every 15 days? Thanks!

Pharmacy tech here! Transferring to a new store as I’m moving to a new state next month. New store wants me to apply to their job req (as opposed to a transfer), which I have the ID for. I’ve tried the regular careers page and the internal hire page. Job has been posted since Monday. Other applicants can see it just fine, apparently. What am I missing here? I’ve searched by location, store number, req ID, hiring manager, etc. several times a day every day for the last few days. Am I just computer illiterate? DoorDash has way more grocery shop and delivers. They had a decent amount now a year ago now they are conquering almost every other order is a shop and pay order for Safeway Walgreens or CVS. I don’t care if in your area there is no shopping pays and any big city there’s a lot of shopping pay orders Luckily I dash in a rich area and most of pays are paying extremely well. So I just moved back to retail after spending 3 years in long term care under CVS, and my pharmacist wants me to get certified to give vaccines; but after a lot of thought i’ve decided against it and I feel nervous to tell her because i’m not sure how much they were gonna rely on me to have that skill. \#1 , I can’t get over the fact that there is no permanent increased compensation for this. Extra training with a new certification and the differential is for a couple months out of the whole year? No thanks. My kitty just got diagnosed with asthma and needs to get an inhaler. I currently work as an assistant at a vet clinic and the website they told me to use (california pet pharmacy) to get a cheaper price is showing up as being $200+. I saw some older posts mentioning this website as being affordable so I am just confused, did they raise the price? Does anyone have any other websites/pharmacies that they buy their cat an inhaler from? I’m willing to pay the higher cost to get the care my cat needs but I want to see if there is a more affordable option that anyone knows of. Thanks!

This is a very strange situation. After meeting my deductible my copay is 10%. The pharmacy called me today saying that they can no longer fill the Rx because they are losing money on the script. The contracted price is less than it costs the pharmacy to buy zepbound. Additionally, The amount the insurance should be paying is the contracted price minus my copay; the pharmacy says that the insurance is paying $80 less than that amount. However, my EOB says the correct amount was paid. My script was transferred over to CVS and I’ll have to get it from them going forward.

So I’m currently 74% done with my pharmacy technician training program now I know there’s gonna be somebody who comes in store and supervise me specifically. What are some things they are gonna question me on regarding my training I’ve been told script sync and ready fill is there anything else I should learn upon?

How is this acceptable? Dasher is waiting on another order for past 5 minutes 2 miles away. DoorDash needs to not allow multiple orders at once. Tired of cold food.

I called and scheduled the drug test for the following day and was told I'd receive forms to fill out by the following Monday, along with a call from the hiring manager. Fast forward a week has passed since the drug test and still no call, I took it upon myself to call ...
