I’ve been with Walgreens for almost 3 years and worked at a few stores. My current store seems to really be going downhill. We are a Tier 4 and always extremely busy, with long lines at the counter and drive thru. There is no pharmacy manager, and 1 staff pharmacist who seems kind of iffy and doesn’t want to do anything they are not getting “paid” to do. Tech wise, we have 2 full time solid techs and 2 full time techs who have been with the company for a while but need some pushing to complete tasks and multitask. How the **** do I get to actually speak to a pharmacist at CVS? The automated line is keeps forcing me to leave a message and request a call back, which I never get. I shouldn’t have to walk into the store to actually speak to the person filling my Rx. The first two times I cashed out cvs gift cards I went to the store and everything worked fine. Yesterday night @9pm est I cashed out a 5$ CVS and when I got to the store the card didn’t even come up in the system. I recently moved and during the move got into a car accident, so basically my friend and I lost our car. Typically I don't buy stuffed animals online, I like to see them in person before I purchase them. But I can't go to any stores and the only stuffed animals I could buy in walking distance are the Ty brand at CVS. I ordered this guy on Amazon but I'm having second thoughts because I couldn't hold him before buying him.

Just wow, how can CVS say it’s a healthcare leader when WALMART just increased its pay cap for regular pharmacy techs to $40.50/hr and lead techs to $42.00/hr and bonuses. That’s over $10 per hour more than CVS. Looks like Walmart wants the best talent and CVS wants to be the next rite aid and Walgreens slowly dieing and bleeding talent.
