Hello, I have previously worked as a shift lead at Walgreens which forced me to become Licensed Pharmacy Technician. I left the industry completely in 2022 to become a truck driver and have just reinstated my PT license. I have reached out to many places trying to find work. Of course CVS and Walgreens are the first to reach out. Walgreens is even promoting in job ads that they prefer former employees so I interview with them tomorrow and waiting on CVS RxM to reach out for proposed interview. My question is has anyone worked for both or what are your opinions on the experience with where you have worked?? The other day out of the blue my memory was jogged to a five and dime store on the Peninsula back in the 70's called Sprouse-Reitz. Looked it up and discovered it was a chain store. It always seemed like a special place when we shopped there, but was probably more like a musty CVS. Why does cvs waste time sending out memos telling the photo captain to hold a huddle for increased sales incoming. Do these jack offs not realize there is never enough people in stores to even hold a huddle most stores have 5-7 employees with 2 people schedules at a time. Hold daily huddles, who are we kidding. There is a serious disconnect between what is happening in stores and what corporate thinks is happening.

So my last resume was very bad and redditors from this sub helped me out. This is my newer resume I stuck to the following points - Stick to one pager - Mentioned internship & full time separately - From work experience, removed project wise section and merged them(this one uses position wise order) - Removed education section - Reduced the fonts to 10pt except the name section - Kept the summary section(I saw a lot of people keeping it, plus it shows my pharma domain expertise. should I remove that?)

I went to get my prescription filled two weeks ago and have not been able to find a single pharmacy with 20mg Adderall xr (generic or brand name) in stock. I tried 4 different CVS and 1 Walgreens and got told by all of them they don't have it and don't know when it would be in. I have final exams next week and would really like to be able to get them before then to be able to study and focus for exams, but I honestly have no idea where to go. Is there anyone in Columbus that has been able to successfully get a prescription filled, and if so could you tell me where at so I can go try to get some?

Anyone else having issues with a pharmacy having enough stock for this script? I had to switch from cvs bc they were always out of stock and now Walgreens is starting to have issues. I was told today that they can’t even order the medicine anymore and have to wait when they arrive which could be up to a week. (My current insurance is only allowing monthly scripts vs my old insurance which gave me 4 month scripts) Which I guess I could be more proactive with calling in advance to refill my script- but when the autofill button is selected and it says it’s “in progress” for days but i don’t hear anything so I show up and they say they’re out of stock and waiting for it to show up....

When I was a kid, my mom used to take me to this tiny old pharmacy on the corner of our street. The back of the store had this tall frosted-glass window with a blurry shadow behind it of the pharmacist mixing medications. But here’s the strange thing... He always talked to me. Whenever I stopped near the glass, the shadow would turn slightly and say things like “Study hard, kid.” Or “Be kind to your mom.” Nothing creepy, but just oddly specific. Like he knew what was going on in my life. Years passed, we moved, and I forgot all about it. A few months ago, I was back in the area and decided to stop by for nostalgia. The pharmacy was still there, same layout, same frosted wind...

I swear, people are out here going to the grocery store, getting gas - you name it. I saw one person going through the drive through window at CVS, as if they were just running normal errands. It’s like, keep it together, folks.

I ALWAYS get my scripts filled at a certain CVS location…it’s the same bullshit ALL TIME…I give them the benefit of the doubt ALL the time…I can’t keep quiet any longer…my doctor called in script today…I go right to the pharmacy to get a time frame…they tell me an hour…I come back after an hour I’m told it will be another 20 minutes that they are expediting it…fine…I **** it up waste time in the area because it doesn’t pay for me to keep going back and forth I don’t live close to the store…I come back after the 20 minutes and they tell me another 15 minutes…like really…I can’t take the **** anymore…I NEED to take this further…I don’t know if another ...
