CVS PHARMACY Locations

Pretty much what it says. We’re currently at Kroger, but the pharmacy has imploded in the last 3ish months. So we’re looking to change pharmacies. I have previously used CVS (won’t make that mistake again), Kroger, and Walgreens (also won’t make this mistake again). I like pharmacies with stable staffs and that are open 7 days a week (I’m busy, so sometimes I don’t get to the pharmacy during the week), we don’t need/require holiday hours (if it’s that urgent, I’ll go to UK), so that’s not a big deal. Hello Reddit community! This is really hard to communicate and ask others because I am not sure how to take it and digest it from the experience I had at Shiley Eye Institute at UCSD. I am depressed but also I want to know if this is normal experience at doctor's office if you goes to a clinic in the United State as not American person? I know cvs earns alot of money from pharmacy for them to not care. But the amount of people that steal from the stores on a regular basis. They're so comfortable doing it too because the employees cannot do anything about it. These poor employees.. The company needs to start caring about dishonest people stealing so frequently. Its insane.

Every single time I pick up an order from Aldi whether it's just two items or 20, my card gets declined at checkout. I typically just stick to Food Lion, CVS, Walgreens, Petco, Pet Supplies Plus.. pretty much any store other than ALDI, so it is my fault considering the last time I picked up an order there it was declined despite not having any substitutions or price differences. I honestly should have known better, but it is hard to turn down a $30 order for only like 10 items. Anyone else have this issue?

I’m asking for my husband, who uses nicotine patches and gum on a long-term basis. I know it’s not ideal but it’s where he’s at right now and it’s helped him stay off cigarettes. The problem is cost because it adds up fast. We usually buy at Walmart and sometimes CVS when there’s a sale but even with store brands it’s getting expensive month after month. I’m wondering if anyone has found a cheaper place to buy nicotine patches or gum in bulk either online or in-store. If you use nicotine replacement long term, where do you buy to keep costs down?

I was using Apostrophe for my tretinoin for years but switched to Amazon pharmacy because it was cheaper. For the past year I was using generic tretinoin from Amazon and my skin lost it's healthy glow and started looking really dull. The tretinoin wasn't even working at all. Idk if it was stored improperly or is a knockoff that actually doesn't contain any active ingredient? Usually with tret it makes my eyes feel dry for the first few minutes it's on. The Amazon Pharmacy version didn't give me this side effect at all. For those of you who use CVS Caremark Mail Order to fill generic Vyvanse, have you had any success it getting them to reduce the price? If so, how? I live in Manhattan/NYC and, the Vyvanse shortages have made it extremely difficult to fill a prescription at a physical pharmacy. I’ve been able to reliably get the generic through Caremark’s mail order service which I have access to through my Anthem BCBS insurance, but a 30-day supply is still $259 before my deductible. They’ve told me they can’t apply any discounts in their system (ex. GoodRx), and there’s also not much improvement for a 90-day supply which is almost $800. I was hired around May of 2025, and I got promoted to a shift supervisor rather quickly. It was after summer ended. I honestly liked working at CVS because it was different than food service.
