Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyIs this the right starting dose in pill form?9h agohi, all! I’m starting semaglutide through a compounding pharmacy - I originally was able to get a covered RX through insurance a few years ago and had great results…but they stopped covering the meds once my A1C was back in a normal range and my weight has crept up again. I’ve decided to try the pill form this time, mostly because I am traveling a lot for work and it’s hard to keep the shots on a consistent schedule or travel with the meds stored at a proper temp. The pills arrived last week and say the dose as 2.5 MG 100 MG SNAC 100 MG capsule. They are in capsule form so the dose can’t be easily divided. My memory is 2.5 mg was the highest dose in shot form? I have not heard bac... Almost 170 people in Littleton and Tewksbury will be laid off this summer, adding to the growing list of cutbacks in the...9h agoLOWELL — The layoffs were posted to the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act on the Mass.gov website this week. Layoffs are publicly announced when companies file a notice under WARN. The act requires employers with 50 or more employees to provide 60 days’ written notice before a plant closing or mass layoff, helping protect workers, their families and local communities. Dover Saddlery layoffs Dover Saddlery, a Massachusetts-based equestrian products company, is cutting 112 employees at its corporate headquarters and product warehouse at 525 Great Road in Littleton. The 100,000-square-foot warehouse stocked more than 6,000 items for shipment to the company’s ... M24 (M4F) Massachusetts-Online. Looking for my soulmate10h agoHey, I’m Juan! I’m 24, live in Springfield, MA, and work at CVS Pharmacy — so yes, I can totally hook you up with band-aids and awkward small talk at the register. When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging out with my 1-year-old niece (she’s adorable and already cooler than me), cooking something tasty, building model kits, watching anime, or gaming. I’m basically a homebody with hobbies that require snacks and patience. A few facts about this goober: 🍳 Cooking: I like making good food and pretending I’m on a cooking show. I'm still learning but I hope to surprise someone with my cooking one day 😅 🎮 Gaming: Always down for co-op or chill single-player advent... How does the AFC work beyond the initial meeting with the kids?10h agoEx and I both filed to modify parenting agreement in January (everything was done through mediation prior). His (ex) request included an attorney for the children who the kids met with in March, and who provided feedback to our lawyers (basically said neither of us were bad and that we had trouble communicating and would benefit from a coparenting app). But, what else do they do? The AFC said our kids could contact him any time but I honestly don’t know what else their role is. I know they can look at our communication on Our Family Wizard but I think that’s by request? Something came up today that I’m just not sure how to respond to but it feels like something the AFC could help wit... There's a Reason Why My Village No Longer Digs Ponds. I am The Reason.11h agoMy therapist said I need to write this down somewhere. Somewhere outside my own head. She originally wanted me to share it with friends and family, you know, the usual advice. Talk to people who know you. Let them carry some of the weight. The problem is, I don't have much family left to call. Not after what happened. And the friends I did tell, the ones I trusted enough to sit down with and actually explain, they laughed. Not cruelly. Just the way people laugh when they're uncomfortable and don't know what else to do. The way people laugh when they've decided, before you even finish talking, that what you're saying cannot possibly be true. So here I am. Talking to... TN General Assembly passes bill that CVS claims could close 100+ stores, local pharmacies say the bill evens the playing...12h agoThis whole Tennessee/CVS/PBM thing honestly shows how insanely tangled US healthcare has become Independents are saying PBMs and vertically integrated systems make the market unfair. CVS is saying breaking that apart could shut down pharmacies, MinuteClinics, jobs, disrupt scripts, transfers, patient access, all of it. And tbh both sides are probably telling at least part of the truth. What keeps getting missed tho is pharma companies are STILL the ones setting the launch prices upstream. PBMs negotiate after the fact. So everyone keeps screaming at the backend while Big Pharma kinda floats in the bg untouched lol. And people rlly underestimate how much infrastructure CVS actually runs da... Any place to get 35mm film?12h agoI’m traveling to Annapolis this weekend from PA and need some 35 mm film, preferably Kodak. Any places sell it? Even if it’s a pharmacy store? Pharmacy12h agoAnyone using Merced Pharmacy yet? I am tired of CVS and want to switch but not sure … Flash Misogyny: A 10,000$ Story13h ago(If you want to get to the meat of it, skip/ctrl-F to 2: Logue) **1: Prologue** Yesterday was a sickening day. I needed my Estrogen. I was a day off--I had been waiting to get paid. I realize in retrospect that like, yeah, I've been on HRT for 6 years, missing a day isn't \*really\* a big deal. But it bothers me. Moreover, I get hot flashes--a lot. And they tend to become more frequent when my hormones are out of whack. Foreshadowing: this will be important later. When I needed a refill on E (monotherapy is working okay for me, though I have a ton of progesterone stocked up for whenever I figure out how to have enough of a routine to take a pill every day), I put in the refil... 999 Hiawatha vs Hilite Apartments — Better Area for Daily Living?13h agoHi everyone, I’m relocating to Seattle soon for a federal job downtown and trying to decide between two studio apartments: • 999 Hiawatha (North Beacon Hill area) • Hilite Apartments (near Roosevelt/U-District area) I’m less focused on the apartment interiors themselves and more interested in which area is better for everyday living. A little about me: • I rely fully on public transit (no car) • I value walkability a lot • I like having coffee shops, grocery stores, parks, pharmacy/banks, and casual food nearby • I prefer an area that feels relatively safe and comfortable to walk around during the day/ evening • I don’t really care about... Remove One Popular Store - Day 313h agoEliminated so far: Hobby Lobby Aaron’s Top comment decides who’s next Do you have these 5 prescription meds in your GO Bag?13h agoWhen people prepare a GO Bag for emergencies, they usually think about things like documents, clothes, flashlights, and snacks. But one of the most important items often gets overlooked until the moment people are already evacuating: prescription medications. During disasters like wildfires or hurricanes, evacuations can happen quickly. Families may only have minutes to leave, and once they do, pharmacies may be closed, roads may be blocked, or local supplies may run out. That can turn a missing medication into a serious problem. Many emergency preparedness experts recommend keeping a **small supply of essential prescription medications** in your GO Bag. Not your entire medicine cabinet... Point of Sales software for Supermarkets and pharmacy14h agoI’ve noticed that a lot of supermarkets, mini-marts, and community pharmacies still struggle with the same POS problems: \- Stock records not matching what is actually in the shop \- Staff selling without proper tracking \- Owners not being able to monitor sales remotely \- Expired pharmacy products not being noticed early \- No clear daily profit or cash report \- Difficulty knowing fast-moving and slow-moving products \- POS computer being off and the owner losing visibility \- Theft, suspicious refunds, voided sales, stock edits, or cash shortages going unnoticed For supermarkets and pharmacies, I think a good POS should do more than just print receipts. It should handle: ... My doctor or pharmacy switched me from Dextroamphetamine to Amphetamine Salts and I’m not sure of the difference14h agoMy doctor recently perscribed me 15 mg generic adderall after being on 10 mg for nine years but my CVS app says they are filling 15 mg Amphetmine Salts. I’m not sure if my NP or the pharmacy made the choice for insurance reasons but is there a big difference? I have bad panic attacks so maybe my NP thinks the new prescription will be less severe? Who is paying for this?!14h agoWho TF is paying her to run errands for them?! Are people that ****** and lazy?! Shes such a con artist Why do CVS and Walgreens keep opening directly across the street from each other?15h agoHi, Something I noticed while looking at Google Maps for something unrelated. Search CVS in any mid-size American city, then search Walgreens. Zoom into the main commercial corridors and look at where both sets of pins land. They're at the same intersections. Not in the same general area. Directly across the street from each other, corner to corner, sometimes for miles. I looked at a few different cities to see if it was local. It's not. The pattern holds across the country. One way to read it from the outside: pharmacy customers probably aren't particularly brand loyal. They go to whatever is most convenient that day. So if your competitor anchors at a high-traffic inter... heat Map 5/1415h agoHow did everyone do?
