White Bear Lake, Hwy 61 CVS pharmacy, 12/10/26. Closed early because...they just decided to close. Saw a customer coming well before 6pm closing time and just dropped the gate. No reason provided when asked, just decided to close early. This isn't pizza delivery, you provide drugs as health care professionals working for a retail site with set hours. Is this how CVS health care professionals operate? Or are they independent pharmacies just licensing the CVS name?

It's not the staffs fault. They have been understaffed for years now. All other close by Walgreens have been closed. It generally takes 45 minutes to wait in line to speak to Pharmacy. Calling pharmacy can take over an hour and you are more than likely to be hung up on. Simply pressing one of those ****** buttons to get lotion, before waiting in line to pay, can easily be 15 minutes. I've called corporate multiple times. They don't give a ****. About the customers. About the employees who are burning out - I've been an ******* to them multiple times I know because I'm at my wits end (sorry).

Has anyone noticed that CVS has slowly started to delay clearance, especially with Christmas? ALLL the cvs stores near me have the Christmas candy still at 50% off, and the toys + non consumable are still at 75% off. By now it should’ve been at 90%. Last Halloween the clearance was really good. Have they changed their clearance? And are they ever going to mark down past 50 and 75 percent?

Made an appointment a couple months ago to get TDAP and RSV vaccines at 34 weeks pregnant. Showed up to CVS last night for the appointment and was told that they don't have the correct vaccine for pregnant women and haven't had it for months. Luckily I was still able to get TDAP, but I'm seriously frustrated that they let me make, keep, and show up to the appointment before notifying me. Has anyone heard of any timelines for when the academy training will start? I’m moving to a new store in 2 weeks and being put into the RX Ops Team Lead position there. I have been told it’s 2 weeks in academy, then back to pharmacy, then another 2 weeks, but not sure when. All I know is they’ve said we’ll be set up for success on day 1.

I have a Cigna plan through my employer with an HSA and deductible (this is the best plan for me, I have done the math). My Dexcom supplies cost me $0 as long as I wait a full 30 days to put in a refill. Cigna’s “price a medication” tool tells me that my Omnipod should be $0 to fill at CVS. CVS charges me $300. The $300 is almost certainly capped by a local law. Trying to figure out why there is a discrepancy here and if it’s worth talking to the pharmacist (or my endo??) about how this is getting billed. I currently fill my prescription at CVS and they told me that no CVS in a 25 mile radius has Sprintec in stock and would give me Mili instead. I have been on a few different birth controls over the years and I am all to familiar with changing brands and it wreaking havoc on my body. I want Sprintec but the pharmacy tech said it's likely being discontinued. I don't know how much stock to put into what she's saying. I'm wondering if I should fill via Amazon Pharmacy or try Walgreens or another local pharmacy to see if they have it in stock. Anyone else receiving this information, that it's discontinued? I cannot find anything online.

Hi there! I was finally able to get a prescription for 10mg XR of the generic brand but CVS had told me it's on backorder \*but\* they do have the name brand. Worst case scenario, at least I'll have it but I'm worried about any price increase. I tried a few mom and pops and they said they're on backorder for the generic as well. Are all pharmacies pretty much out of the generic? And if so, has anyone been in a similar situation where they had to go name brand and faced a noticeable price increase? Thank you!
