I just went to CVS Pharmacy located at 5090 Foothills Blvd, Roseville, CA 95747 is **store number 09958**. I never go there so when I walked in I was hit with a wave of hot air. Apparently, their air conditioning went out a month ago and it can reach up to 87 degrees in there. I am appalled they let their employees work in that condition. I’ve been working at Walgreens since February. I have never been properly trained one on one on how prescriptions are entered, all the different functions of the system etc. I’m mostly checking people out and on occasion filling scripts. However last weekend a pharmacists from another store covered at our store and said they liked me and would like me to work at their store if I wanted more hours. I gave them my number and they asked me to go in tomorrow. Questions Does my ID work to clock in at any Walgreens? Can I check people out at any store? Are Walgreens pharmacies set up the same? Walgreens decided to make it almost impossible to not reach their vaccine goals this upcoming flu season. I guess someone thought how can we involuntarily make techs become immunizers. Let’s just send out a mass email with consequences. The Senior Technicians didn’t want to be demoted by March 2026. Who in the world thinks like that? I guess I understand why the DM wants us to become immunizers and complete the courses in a timely manner. When people are demoted by the 100s roles have to be filled. I got tired of paying $17 for passport photos… so I built my own solution. A few weeks ago, I went to Walmart, then CVS Pharmacy, and then Walgreens to get passport photos printed. Hi everyone! I need to find some eye patches for a recent and ongoing eye injury. I know I can pick one up at a local pharmacy, but I’d rather have a natural fabric, and honestly don’t want to look like a pirate with their black only options - I love colour! I also can’t use the adhesive-type patches, 1. Because I’m allergic to many adhesives, and 2. Because I can alternate between which eye is covered as they both function normally, just aren’t working well together currently.
