Has anyone in here ever worked for both the front store and pharmacy? I’ve strictly only worked the front store. I have helped cashier in the pharmacy a few times but I’ve never done a full shift back there. I have over 10 years of experience with the front store but when it comes to pharmacy I feel completely lost and I feel more like a burden to the technicians and pharmacist as I have to ask so many questions. I would like to be able to help my pharmacy team out and fill in for some shifts when our front store hours get cut which is more often than not now. Would it be worth it? I use CVS pharmacy in California and my doctor prescribed me 16 Ubrelvy pills a month (100mg each). But the pharmacy is only giving me 10 pills because they can’t break apart the packs of 10 to get the other 6 pills. Is anyone able to get 16 Ubrelvy pills a month at their pharmacy? Wondering if I could just I switch to a different pharmacy. I’m going to try and get my doctor to prescribe me 20 pills a month but I’m not sure they will since that’s above the recommended doses a month.
