Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyPharmacy Customer Service Associate1h agoDoes a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate work in the Pharmacy department, or are they working in the store for the majority of the time? Worst places to work?1h agoFormer coworker in the pharmacy sent me this. They quit right after. I have never seen a person work harder. They were a Rite Aid acquisition place and they kept the place open basically themselves while most of them quit. This is how CVS repaid them. Glad I left this place. Save your health and see how your health does just within 1 month of leaving this “employer of choice.” Lol The polypropylene crisis in India's medical devices sector is finally coming due for decades of negligence1h agoMost of the coverage I'm reading is treating it like a weather event. Nobody is zooming out and asking the harder question. How did we get to a place where an Rs 55/kg spike in polypropylene, can threaten the entir*e* downstream supply chain for syringes, IV bags, and surgical components in a country of 1.4 billion people? India's medical device manufacturing sector, especially the SME tier, has been running on the thinnest possible margins with almost zero raw material buffer stock for years. Most pharma and device companies follow a JIT inventory model where they store minimal quantities of inputs in stock. We've been optimizing for cost efficiency at the direct expense o... bill 20402h agoMy friend posted this explaining a little more on facebook. The ad we all have been seeing purposely does not give any information, and i can guarantee CVS and other corporations that run like this are backing the ads. https://preview.redd.it/0wwus1cbxiog1.png?width=690&format=png&auto=webp&s=011d71ea33af446eb639741b0ac19fe5853cd7a2 Pure Ypsi2h agoPharmacist requires reusing single-use testosterone vials, refusing to rebill prescription for correct insurance2h ago*I have COVID right now and don't have the energy to reformat this. The text below is taken directly from the email I just sent to the CVS business ethics department. If anyone can suggest additional email addresses or points of contact to send my complaint/inquiry, I would greatly appreciate it.* ### Email to CVS To begin, I realize that I should have made this complaint in a more timely manner. The situation at the time was very stressful, and I just wanted to put it behind me. Some friends have been pushing me to report what happened, but I was not ready until today. I had stopped filling most prescriptions at the pharmacy in question, but I needed to pick up Paxlovid to treat COVID... We can have 100 signs around the store with pharmacy hours on it2h agoAnd you will still have 20+ people asking what time do you open from lunch 🤦♀️ or I did know you close at 7 🤦♀️🤦♀️ A Quick Look at What Canadian Insulin Is Offering for Patients Managing Diabetes3h agoManaging diabetes often means staying consistent with medications while also navigating costs and access. At **Canadian Insulin**, our goal is to make that process easier by helping patients access prescription medications through licensed international pharmacy partners while maintaining proper safety standards. Our platform focuses on a few key things that patients consistently ask about: prescription verification, clear ordering steps, and reliable medication handling during shipping. Many medications used for chronic conditions, especially insulin and other diabetes treatments, require careful storage and temperature control, so we also provide educational guides on safe medication hand... I'm told that they are no longer allowing spark drivers to pick up pharmacy orders any pick up must have a hand written note, how I found this out , I don't do pharmacy orders too often but it was slow and there were pharmacy and shops at a good pay , I take one do my id verification go to the pharmacy and I'm told what I mentioned above, now my store is being remodeled and I'm not sure if that could be why and just moved the pharmacy. But why not tell theses customers who are depending on their meds to be delivered and never get them , I seen those order pop up and disappear and come back all day , anyone else hear about something... My boss had me come into work, even though grandpa is in hospital (AIO)4h agoFor context, I work at a retail pharmacy. Not gonna say the name as I still have the job and don't want them to see, and we have been understaffed. Also, it's my significant other's grandpa, but I've been with Them for 8 years so he's practically my grandpa. I've been helping my partner cope through their grandpa being in the hospital. I have also been living with my partner and I can't drive. Granted, he's not dead, but I've seen actively dying multiple times, and he's starting to get that look. He had pneumonia which led to lung scarring, so he's constantly hooked up to tubes, very weak, lost a lot of weight. It's tough to look a... Itali stinger tt 🔥4h agoMHBP / CVS / CAREMARK / AETNA4h agoCan kiss the *** of a rotten corpse while shoving its rotten **** up their own ***. Yes, this is a rant. It’s been a ******* nightmare switching prescriptions over. A 30 day supply costs $700, but that same medication as a 90 day supply? $65. Yes, a 90 day supply is a fraction of the cost of a 30 day. Finding a provider to submit a 90 day supply? An expensive misadventure in doctor shopping. Took me 4 different visits to different practices to find one that both could and would. All of the offices over the phone assured me their system could handle it so long as the doctor agreed to prescribe. That was a lie I could only uncover after an actual office visit. Ohh, and for some reason wri... Next steps4h agoHi all, I had interviewed for a pharmacy tech position about 2 weeks ago and just heard back the other day. I accepted the job offer, registered with my state’s Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician trainee (since I don’t have previous pharmacy experience), completed the background check, submitted the Form I-9, and completed a drug test today. I was told the results of the drug test would take 2-3 days to be processed/sent to CVS. I was just wondering if there are any other pre-employment things I’m missing that I should do. I’m also unsure of when I’ll actually start training/being scheduled. Should I reach out to the pharmacy manager? Thanks in advance. Pricing confusion...5h agoHi all. I'm completely new to this all. I see this listed as the option I'm leaning most towards but want to make sure, is this saying I can pay $499 at once or if I prefer $166/month for 3 months? "GLP-1/GIP Base Formula Hallandale Pharmacy $499 for 12 weeks or 3 payments of $166" ... when do you specify? The site doesn't ask before starting you through the process of a consult. Also, this really includes shipping, all supplies etc? I must say I'm a little concerned that my roommate might somehow ruin the product. How should it be stored if I'm not comfortable using our shared fridge? Thanks. Title: CVS scheduling question — working overtime before full-time status, now barely getting hours?5h agoHey everyone, I’m trying to figure out if this situation is normal or if anyone else at CVS has dealt with something similar. I was originally hired part-time and was told that once hours picked up I’d be switched to full-time within about a month. That didn’t end up happening until about 10 months later. During those 10 months I was regularly working 30–40+ hours and even overtime, but I was still coded part-time in the system the whole time. Now the opposite is happening. Since finally being switched to full-time, my hours have dropped a lot. Looking at the schedule board, several coworkers are getting 25–38 hours, while I’m sometimes getting around 10 hours or less in a wee... Why is it bad to have more than one stock bottle opened?6h agoI’ve asked a few other techs in the past, but the answers I got were kinda vague or had jargon that I didn’t understand. I do my best to make sure there is no open stock bottle of a certain medication before I open a new one. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s just that I’m just trying to understand why it’s a genuine issue rather than a mere inconvenience. Other CVS pharmacies I’ve helped out at have had three opened stock bottles of the same medication before, which made me panic but idk why. Please be as detailed as possible so I can finally understand why “double open” = bad. Best stores:7h agoWalmart. Great for some Legos that are not locked up. Or are up high and can be knocked down with a pool noodle possibly. Hands off AP. Office Depot. No presence of LP. Routers that are only spider wrapped. But only one is out at a time. CVS. Great for stuff like hair dryers or irons that are only spider wrapped. No LP there when I’ve been. Claire’s. Not for boosting probably. But they’re going bankrupt. They have no cameras or LP/AP. Ralph‘s (grocery store). They have stuff like ninja blenders or other high value kitchen stuff. However, they won’t fit in your bag. The ones that do have spider wraps linked to each other. Von’s (grocery store). No LP/AP and very few cam... [UPDATE] Losing My Glasses May Have Saved My Life?7h agoApparently, this subreddit does not allow links to previous posts, so I guess you can go to my profile for the context of the original post. So it has been a WEEK since everything happened with my trip to the ER and finding out I have papilledema caused by Idiopathic Intercraneal Hypertension (IIH). I have since been to my primary care physician and had my first follow-up with my new ophthalmologist, who will manage my treatment. I wanted to provide an update on what has transpired since last Wednesday, what seems to be in store for me, as well as a look at the possible string of events that led to all of this. So, starting off, I had a bad reaction to the Lumbar Puncture, which caused me ...
