Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyRECALL ALERT: FDA recalls turmeric supplements sold in 30 states over mold contamination4h agoQunol needs to do better when it comes to testing and ensuring their products are safe for consumers. The products were distributed to retail stores, including CVS locations, across multiple states, including Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Texas, New York, and California, among others. My current store seems to really be going downhill. We are a Tier 4 and always extremely busy, with long lines at the counter and drive thru. There is no pharmacy manager, and 1 staff pharmacist who seems kind of iffy and doesn’t want to do anything they are not getting “paid” to do. Tech wise, we have 2 full time solid techs and 2 full time techs who have been with the company for a while but need some pushing to complete tasks and multitask. The RxOM I’ve heard is applying for other stores, which would then leave us without an RxOM. I do see potential with the pharmacy, with good leaders and helping motivate ... How to speak with Pharmacist6h agoHow the **** do I get to actually speak to a pharmacist at CVS? The automated line is keeps forcing me to leave a message and request a call back, which I never get. I shouldn’t have to walk into the store to actually speak to the person filling my Rx. One more reason to lament the loss of Rite Aid 😞 Edit to add: My issue was resolved by going in person and I transferred my Rxs to my local pharmacy. They were great! But this post is making me realize how low our expectations are for our healthcare providers in this country. One person won’t improve the system, but if you’re unhappy with an aspect of your healthcare experience I really suggest seeking providers who actually treat yo... TrumpRx should scare you a lot more than you would think7h agoHi I am a pharmacist that has ***** GoodRx for as long as I have been in pharmacy for a few reasons and their new (now a week old) cooperation with TrumpRx is one the most horrifying things I have ever seen. For starters GoodRx is another dystopian invasion of privacy that will definitely be exploited to persecute people. They have had multiple controversies where they have been caught selling patient information (two of the founding members are former Facebook executives so of course they sell your data). A lot of traditional healthcare information is protected by HIPAA, but putting your information into the GoodRx website is not protected and GoodRx settled a case with the FTC for selling... 5$ cvs gift card is blank7h agoThe first two times I cashed out cvs gift cards I went to the store and everything worked fine. Yesterday night @9pm est I cashed out a 5$ CVS and when I got to the store the card didn’t even come up in the system. The numbers and pin I was given are useless I can’t even check the balance online or find the balance in store ? 🤨 Rented studios & 1 beds for investors(near metro) 🔥7h ago🏢 Studios & 1-Bedroom Apartments for Sale – Discovery Gardens 💰 Ideal for investors seeking immediate rental income. It feels like nothing works anymore, and companies are making it that way8h agoA while ago, I call Microsoft so I can change the email address on my Microsoft account, and I couldn’t get connected to an agent. It was all those ****** AI robots answering the phone, and when I ask for a human to help me with my ****** two-factor-authentication they said, “I’m sorry but before I connect you with an agent, I need to know what you're calling about.” Like no, you don’t just leave us alone and transfer my call from Point A to Point B. I told them, "I can't get passed 2FA to update my email." and the AI basically said, "I'm sorry your request isn't important enough to speak to a human for, but you can do things common sense would te... Leaving Walgreens After 1 Year8h agoHello everyone! I’ve been a silent lurker on the forum for a while now, but I have some pretty exciting news I wanted to share. I’ve been working at Walgreens as a pharmacy tech for a year now, and after the first month I was OVER it. Dealing with the store manager, pharmacy manager and RXOM became exhausting. I just felt like they were not grateful for it to work that we put in. I worked in many 12 hour shifts, I’ve worked 6 to 7 days in a row. And that ends up taking a toll on you. Having angry people scream at you for things that were out of your control was also stressful. I made a promise to myself that I wasn’t going to stay in retail for more than a year and I got a call b... Purchased this Douglas red fox, but having second thoughts.8h agoI recently moved and during the move got into a car accident, so basically my friend and I lost our car. Typically I don't buy stuffed animals online, I like to see them in person before I purchase them. But I can't go to any stores and the only stuffed animals I could buy in walking distance are the Ty brand at CVS. I ordered this guy on Amazon but I'm having second thoughts because I couldn't hold him before buying him. CVS vs WALMART pay Cap9h agoJust wow, how can CVS say it’s a healthcare leader when WALMART just increased its pay cap for regular pharmacy techs to $40.50/hr and lead techs to $42.00/hr and bonuses. That’s over $10 per hour more than CVS. Looks like Walmart wants the best talent and CVS wants to be the next rite aid and Walgreens slowly dieing and bleeding talent. Optivite Reviews: Does This Vision Support Supplement Really Work or Legit Eye Supplement?11h ago**Optivite For Eyes — Full Review, Benefits, Risks, and Where to Buy** Optivite (often marketed as "OptiVite" / "Optivite For Eyes" or similar brand variants) is a dietary supplement marketed to support eye health. Formulations commonly include lutein, zeaxanthin, bilberry, zinc, vitamins A/C/E, and sometimes omega-3s or botanical extracts. Evidence for eye-health supplements shows certain ingredients (lutein/zeaxanthin, zinc, vitamins C/E) can support macular health and protect against oxidative stress, but not all branded blends are clinically proven to restore lost vision. If you’re considering [Optivite](https://myoptivite.com/), check the exact ingredient label,... Need perceptive after moving to bushwick - lived in ev a long time12h agoMoved to bushwick from the east village struggling to adjust need honest advice on how to thrive and perspective Moved to Bushwick from the East Village and struggling to adjust. I need honest advice on how to thrive here and some real perspective. I lived in the EV for 8 years. I know how to spend an entire day all over Manhattan — West Village, EV, LES. My apartment fell apart at the end and drove me crazy. I didn’t seriously look for a new place over there the last couple of years. The population got younger and more chaotic, and I was constantly being rushed around — 7 out of 10 times. The few times I could actually enjoy the neighborhood, I did. But toward the end I felt crazy a... Applied to 100+ Remote Developer Jobs — Only 5 Resume Downloads. Why?14h agoHi everyone, I’m a full-stack developer currently based in Myanmar, and I’ve been applying mainly to US and EU remote roles through LinkedIn. So far, I’ve submitted 100+ applications. However, only about 5 companies have downloaded or viewed my resume. The rest appear to have rejected my application without even opening it. I’m trying to understand what’s happening behind the scenes. Are most remote roles actually region-restricted even if labeled “remote”? Can ATS systems automatically reject candidates based on location before a recruiter reviews the resume? If this is manual rejection, what might be causing such a low resume view rate? I’d really appreciate honest f... How do I switch from Pharmacy Technician to Software?15h agoI just want to clarify that I currently work for CVS Pharmacy but would not be opposed to go to Walgreens. I currently work at CVS Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician and have been here for a little over a year now. I am currently a freshman enrolled in college, studying engineering, and I have some experience in both hardware and software. I was wondering how/if I could switch to a software or hardware related role within the company. When I checked the CVS careers website, most of the openings I saw were full time positions. I didn’t see any internships or part time roles in tech. CVS tech pay structure15h agoHere is the chart for my areas pay structure. Top is regular technician while bottom is lead technician with each column left to right min, mid, max hourly pay. My question is after being 22 years with the company and 19 of those as lead technician with ptcb for 18 years, where would you expect my hourly rate to fall? I’ve always have received meets expectations, had my set 9 to 530 schedule erased after 15 years to work open to close 3 times per week to help staff the pharmacy, I’ve taken 3 sick days in 15 years, I don't get to use my 20 days vacation because the pic won’t let me take off. I started as lead tech pay 12$ hour 19 years ago. Last July I brought up to the district ... First day16h agoI recently got hired and was told they were waiting for my credentials to go through before I could officially start. Then this past Monday, the pharmacy tech manager called me and said I needed to come in because I had e-learnings due. It felt very last minute. I told her I could come in for a few hours, but I couldn’t officially start until next week. I went in and she wasn’t there, so the store manager helped me get started on the e-learnings instead. While I was there, they asked me to stay longer, but I had already said I could only stay a few hours. The part that’s bothering me is that no one gave me an actual schedule. I had to text the tech manager to ask what my hours were,... How do you store your pencils? Give us a pencil pouch showcase! (Flex ur pencils in the pouch)16h agoWhat type of pencil cases do you use? In the pics I have my new one (the small blue guy) and my old one (larger black one). I use the blue one constantly while the black one stays in my backpack or car as a back up. Some background and mini review: The black one was just a little edc purse / side bag thing being sold for like $5 at wallgreens (pharmacy/ drug store) and I was pretty proud of the find. Worked great after I cut off the cross body strap. Now I use it for pens, extra pencils and a few cheap pencils in case a random person needs to borrow a pencil. Blue one was a gift from my girlfriend's sisters and I really like the size and quality. The capacity is smaller in the blue gu... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
