CVS PHARMACY Locations

Hi all, my gf works for a small practice and they are losing their insurance due to unfortunate circumstances (this country), and so in the meantime, she will need to find her own provider until they renew with someone else. I wanted to know what individual plans and with whom people have found success with that isn't wallet crippling here for the Connecticut and Massachusetts residents and works well enough with Hartford Healthcare providers and CVS (though pharmacies are changeable I suppose) and who do rely on some medications month to month and whatnot. I was originally prescribed Norg-ee in May of last year and given a year supply. With no warning I've been switched on to something called Tri-mili. My pharmacy recently got bought out by CVS and it is of course terrible now because they understaff and overwork their employees. CVS claimed my prescription needed to be approved for a refill by my prescriber even though I should have refills left until May. After many phone calls trying to get past the robot that is the only available "person" to talk to at CVS, and contacting my doctors office, they finally sent in a prescription. UPDATE 16:00: LET THERE BE LIGHT. Most hospital power systems seem to be back up. Thankfully a major hospital and the area's trauma centre is pretty high on the list to get power back asap. Hi everyone, I have a prescription for the 1.5 mg dose and was planning to fill it at Giant, but they told me they don’t accept the coupon that brings it down to $149. I’ve tried calling CVS and Walgreens nearby, but I can’t seem to reach an actual person to confirm. Has anyone successfully used this coupon at a pharmacy recently? If so, which one worked for you? Thanks in advance!

Trying to reduce the plastic in our family. Any suggestions on how to get medical prescriptions from the pharmacy without using the plastic bottles? I don't believe Walgreens ir CVS offer this service and these are the pharmacies our insurance covers. I'd prefer locally owned small pharmacies but these aren't viable options for our family. Appreciate the time, energy, and efforts for your suggestions.

Has anyone else been getting these fake notifications?

Has anyone ever successfully changed their store operating hours? How would we go about even starting this process? We open 3 hours before pharmacy on weekends and the store is dead, like beyond slow. We do maybe \~100$ in the first couple hours, what exactly is the point of us being open so early? Same goes for closing, they close 3 hours before is and after 8pm it’s very slow, after 9 it’s like 1 or 2 people. Is it worth bringing up to a DL or not, it just seems like we’re wasting payroll and trying to find people to work at 7am on weekends is getting very hard. Hello all! (CA area) In my mid to early 20s I was diagnosed with ADHD. Fast forward Im 30 now with a different job so different health insurance. I decided to try and go back on medication for ADHD (last time I was on it was COVID era). Fast forward, psychiatrist prescribes me Vyvanse. Never been on it before, its $500 retail price. My insurance covers only $300. The doctor sent me a coupon but CVS doesn't take them. I’ve recently noticed when I sort by earliest arrival, I’m not seeing most of the available restaurants that I am seeing on the Home Screen that currently say only 10 min, 12 min, etc. Instead, I’m seeing a lot of liquor stores, pharmacies, retail, etc. with only a few unrecognized restaurants sprinkled in spanning all the way up to 35 min. Is this a glitch, or is this a strange marketing campaign to push those stores?

Walgreens is very transparent on company site about the highly rate. In fact, on the job postings under career areas>pharmacy jobs>pharmacy technician/apprenticeship>pharmacy operations manager are detailed if you scroll down and read. The issue of why most technicians aren’t making over $18 an hour is simply because you’re not certified! Walgreens doesn’t care how many years you’ve put into the company. CPhTs, SPHTC, and RxOMs are necessary for workflow. A pharmacy technician in California has a minimum of $19.50 while a technician in Florida starts at $16.50 with no experience.
