hey folks, figured i'd share some parking tips for the ultimate reggae concert with native elements on saturday, 01/24. parking around the bal theatre is honestly not the worst, but since they don't have their own big lot, it gets a little crazy when there's a big show, and limited on-site space can cause challenges. east 14th street is a main road and can get congested, but since the show starts at 8:00 pm, the typical evening rush hour traffic should be clearing out. first, my biggest tip to skip the circling and potential traffic snarls on e 14th street is to check out Prked. this app lets you rent private driveways and unused garage spots from people living righ...

They took away our outside trash cans a few months ago, I think October or early November. And two weeks ago they took away our inside customer trash can that has a wipe dispenser on top of it. And our little one we had at the beauty register. *And* the one in our pharmacy waiting area. Why? Our parking lot(which I pick up every shift) is a disaster now and people come in and leave their literal garbage on our register countertops, in our queue, anywhere they want :( I get them taking away the ones outside to prevent people from digging around for receipts doing return fraud, but why the three *inside* the store?

I had to go to the Pharmacy today and I checked for Soundwave, again, and they had ..... Skeletor Starscream, which I don't know, this was the point where I threw in the towel and decided to send an email to Hasbro and let them deal with my big feelings instead of keeping them in. Pretty shook, I just called my local CVS to refill a prescription thinking I would be connected with a pharmacy tech. Instead an AI chatbot answered the phone, and walked me through various questions to refill my medications. Unfortunately, when it came to verifying my identity, it asked only for my date of birth, not even my name. Ok, whatever. I’m having a hard time understanding why we still have a wellness event tomorrow given the current weather situation. On one hand, the Emergency Operations Center is on the front page of the Wire, showing that the weather is serious enough to warrant being treated as a big deal. On the other hand, that same weather apparently isn’t serious enough to cancel or postpone a non-essential wellness event that requires additional staff to commute and encourages customers to come into stores. To put in the oil, you need to remove the side panel, which fastens with some non standard hex configured screw. Not provided, not flagged, just SURPRISE. You need to remove the other side panel to connect the battery. On a pre blizzard run tonight I drove out of the pharmacy and turned right at the hardware store parking lot exit ..... and thought hard if I needed anything. So the long story short is that I had placed a order of nine items on December 25th and after 3 weeks of waiting the order was canceled. I sent an email about trying to find out more information and after not getting a response for a day or two I sent a follow-up because I kind of was frustrated and wanted to get some more clarification on what happened. I sent the email over a week ago and still have not got a response. I have however gotten a follow-up survey asking how satisfied I was with response I received, even though I haven't received a response. This is kinda funny but I totally sympathize with our customer. I would be mad too. Just not at me, an innocent clerk. i work at a store with a pharmacy and a postal outlet. on our store website, customers can order and pay for products and choose whether they want their stuff shipped to their home, or they can pick it up at the store. Usually if they're ordering online they want it shipped to them at home; theres often a reason, disability, transportation problems etc. We charge for shipping. I live in a small-ish town in Central Louisiana. Its very rare to find cards in stores now. Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, even the local card shops havent been stocking them. Is there a shortage or something?

I might be identifiable from this post but whatever. Like the title says, I'm a floater pharmacist and I ended up putting the pharmacy pretty behind, like 100+ left to fill at closing. I was placed in a tier 5 store that is typically staffed with 2-3 pharmacists all by myself. The busiest store in our district that produces up to 800 scripts daily (and that's just non-controls), as a floater. I haven't even been a pharmacist for a year. On top of that a pharmacy nearby is closing so everyone there is transferring their scripts to the pharmacy I was working at, so that's an additional 100+ scripts coming in. It was complete chaos and I was somehow expected to manage it...

Hi! Currently I work as a part-time pharmacy technician. I'm looking to increase my hours and I heard about cross-training opportunities. Before I say anything to my Advocate however, i want to hear other people's experiences with it. I know certain positions can be tough (my pharmacy team is pretty chill, for information I do have 1 facial piercing on my nose) but I've heard Food Service Workers CANNOT have any piercings. Currently, there's only Food Service Worker and Overnight Stocking available at my store. I just am curious on your guys' experience before I inquire. And do you get paid separately or the same wage for both jobs?

I’m writing this post right now at my job here at CVS. I’m a pharmacy technician and all I have to say is that this is probably one of the worst jobs on Earth. Like I would genuinely rather work a 9-5 in some cubicle, than work here. I don’t think there is anything worse than working at CVS. It’s a job that constantly drains you and gives nothing back.
