Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyWhat to do? (General Rant)2h agoHello everyone, I am curious what you all would do in this situation? And a long winded rant of some other topics I’d like some input on. BUT FIRST! the main issue. Earlier this month my prescriber sent me a text when I requested a refill, if I wanted to move up from 10mg to 12.5mg. I agreed and the Rx was sent and filled no issue. Yesterday, I encountered an issue with a refill. Granted my pcp has been amazing and sometimes staff gets busy to push those through. That’s not an issue. What was concerning is my Pharmacy saying I needed a new PA and insurance was not going to cover me until I did. I reach back out to my pcp and they claimed that the pharmacy did not indicate to them... What do you do with your used blades?2h agoI'm not one to spend money on a specific store bought blade bank, nor do I like to have an old can under the sink. What I found best for me is a sharps container. I got mine for free at the pharmacy. It's plastic so no rust and will fit under the sink. When it becomes full, I can take it back to the pharmacy for disposal. I'm curious what other use. Readers split over TN bill on CVS, pharmacy benefit managers2h agoThis bill is sold as ‘protecting independents,’ but the real losers will be Tennessee patients. CVS has invested heavily in pharmacies... Can you ring something up using the cvs item number above the barcode? Can someone tell me how? The register can never r...2h ago"Nightstand Revolution"2h agoThe revolution will be nightstand. Kate's long-awaited allergy test comes back and Jacqueline sifts through the confounding results. Mismatched woods or matching? Grohl Bowls and a minimum age for doctors. A thorough investigation of nightstands and the appropriate price to pay for them. Facebook Marketplace and a reduction in narrative are prescribed. Kate lists all that lies beside her bed. Mr. Baby and Instagram soup. Jacqueline finds Celsius in the cigarette shop and two thermometers in her bag. CVS after dark with a wine bar in the back? On FaceTime with Boo the Cat and dreams of a grocery store in the home. Emotional flooding is real. Zipline fs and rx3h agoIs there any way i can get access to rx zipline to because i am cross trained i have access to front store stuff but i can’t see pharmacy stuff there A prescription for what now?3h agoPatient comes in and asks if we have nitroglycerin because CVS doesn't have it. I ask what form and dose. He doesn't know. I ask if he knows what the package looks like. He says yes. I show him the only box we have. (See image.) He says yes, that's the right one for sure. We call CVS for a transfer. I warn pharmacist that I'm not confident the guy knows it's this exact type of nitroglycerin, so CVS might have something else. CVS says they have a prescription for "nitroglycerin 0.25 mg capsules". We ask if they don't have it because it's not a drug that exists for retail purchase. They say yes and that they explained this to the patient already.... Customers are too much3h agoYesterday a customer was told to come inside the store from drive thru to update insurance information she was so freaking ****** and getting verbally aggressive. The rx staff couldn't hear her too much outside noise. And there was a line behind her. She comes in all hot with her phone out taking pictures and video recording rx members inside pharmacy. The pharmacist and staff kept telling her not to and she kept at it. They called management and she was going off on the manager. Shoving the phone in her face. She kept telling her not to record and can't record and she kept doing it. One last time being told and still she kept doing and becoming more aggressive. The manager s... The Truth About CBD Isolate: Hype or Helpful?3h agoIn the school of life, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the most popular intoxicating cannabis compound, is like the popular kid everyone knows by name. The center of attention, always getting talked about, and highly sought after. Cannabidiol (CBD), on the other hand, gets a little less love. It’s more like the quiet honor student: low-key, non-intoxicating, rarely chasing the spotlight, but reliable, balanced, and quietly keeping everything in check. Its standout benefits have compelled many brands to offer CBD as a standalone product (otherwise known as CBD isolate), but is it actually worth the hype? # What Is CBD Isolate? CBD isolate is a concentrate that contains only cannabidiol, whic... It’s hard, but with adequate support he will recover soon4h agoHelp identify body lotion from early 2000s4h agoDoes anyone out there recall a women's body lotion from about 2002 that came in a 4-6oz red tube claiming to contain phermones? I loved it so much but I can't recall the name. It wasn't expenisve and probably came from a drugstore like CVS as there weren't many stores in my area selling beauty products at the time. Lumryz delivery4h agoSwitched insurance and now CVS is my specialty pharmacy for Lumryz. They keep telling me they MUST deliver to a home address (not ups/fedex hub or cvs store or anything). No exceptions. But I work normal hours and don’t usually stay home all day sat either. Deliveries in my area are erratic; once I took a half-day from work for my delivery (estimated between 8 and noon) and it was of course delayed. If I miss the delivery 3x they send it back no questions asked. But they deliver during work hours! Anyone else having this issue? (It was not a problem with Accredo; they would deliver to any ups or FedEx drop-off point with signature-required delivery.) First CVS and now Walgreens?5h agoA few years ago, big retail pharmacies started talking about using their locations as clinical trial sites. CVS didn't last long, and now Walgreens is changing its direction, too. Honestly, I thought this strategy could work and help make trials more accessible for some TAs. Why do you think these companies couldn't make it work? Is it just about money? Chemist Warehouse pharmacist refused my eScript token... anyone else had this?6h agoHas anyone else had a Chemist Warehouse pharmacist refuse to dispense an eScript token? Head pharmacist told me he doesn't accept escripts shown by patients and that the doctor has to send it directly to the pharmacy... which is just... not how the token system works, right? He also said "I don't care about the rules, it's my store" when I showed him the government guidelines. It's for a Schedule 8 med (Vyvanse) so already stressful enough without this. Is this a Chemist Warehouse thing or just this one rogue pharmacist. (Not genetic)7h agoAs someone who loves lippies even more when they are affordable I found this veryyyyyyy affordableeeeeeee lippie in a local pharmacy store. Moisturises my dry lips very well but yeah if u need something to heal the lips u myt need to get smth thicker. I lovee itttt and apply it multiple tyms a day. It is good for sun protection too, like I noticed lip pigmentation fading with time tho I agree that any spf lip balm will help with lip pigmentation if it is not genetic but yeah this was a great find. Also it lasts for a very long period of tym cz I got it last year in ig november?? And I haven't finished even half of it yet. Early refill hydrocodone for pinched nerve and cervical stenosis7h agoI’ve had severe pain in my shoulder blade, neck, upper shoulder, and down my left arm for about 18 months. It would come and go, and I managed it with stretching, massage, and acupuncture, sometimes getting a week of relief. About 6 weeks ago, it became constant and much worse. I saw a neurologist who did a nerve study, believed the issue was coming from C6-C7 and prescribed 28 tablets of oxycodone (5-325) to get me through the time it would take to get me in for an MRI, then likely a spine and pain specialist doc which can take months where I’m from. The oxy did not help and caused bad stomach cramps. I asked my neurologist for hydrocodone, which I occasionally use (about 5/month) for... Am I missing a 24 hour pharmacy or grocery store somewhere? It’s crazy to me that a town of this size doesn’t have a CVS or Walgreens open at 1:30 AM but maybe I’m just not finding it… I know there are people out there who will want to know about this.
