Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyCGM safe dandruff treatments available in Canada?3h agoim looking for a dandruff shampoo or scalp treatment thats easy to find in stores in Canada. I know my local pharmacies have several options, but i dont know which (if any) are CG-friendly so looking for recommendations! if there's really nothing good in stores im open to ordering online, but I prefer in-store if possible. Im hoping to consult a dermatologist eventually too, but as fellow Canadians probably know, there's a very long wait list for derms so I'd like to try OTC options in the meantime. Congress Pharmacy5h agoDuring a renovation of the building on the corner of Bradley Place and Royal Poincianna on Palm Beach island, the name of an apparently former Congress Pharmacy was revealed and is now painted over. Do any of you have any history of the store? Different setup.5h agoHow to store sentimental items?6h agoSo i’m a sentimentalist and I love keeping small nick nacks to remind me of what happened in the year. I’m looking for a cool/ smart way to store these items. The issue is, I have easy-to-store items (Like tickets & photos) but I also have things which you can’t just throw in a photo album…. Like a prop from my theatre piece I did or the first medicine i’ve ever made (I’m a pharmacy student lol) What are some smart ideas to store these? Physical Copy of tech license?6h agoI recently got my pharmacy technician registration because I was hired at CVS (I start on Tuesday) I’m wondering what’s the process to get the official license since I’m being trained through an employer rather than taking courses? I don’t really understand the process I just know I have 6 months to upload proof of training. Bracing for the "Big F"6h agoBackground: I was laid off in January 2024 and have just made my 2-year "Big L" anniversary. It's been a miserable grind since and have been on UI twice, worked multiple temp jobs, had a rescinded offer, am currently on food stamps again, and can't help pay the mortgage anymore (not mine). My savings are 0 in both accounts and every dollar made from my two PT jobs goes straight to paying off debt and bills. Present: The 2nd PT job I'm working is with an inventory company that's complete B.S. My work quality depends on an "APH" number that tracks how many items per hour are scanned. If I dare go the bathroom or take a break, the score goes down and I ... New Replacement Bottle Sauvage EDP7h agoI got it from CVS in store this time not online ( mods this is a different bottle, deleted my old post) Poinsettia Village Rite Aid location still vacant. Any new tenants lined up yet?7h agoThe Rite Aid off Avenida Encinas has been closed for a while now. Would be great to have another drug store/ pharmacy in that location. Or an Aldi or Trader Joes. Your thoughts? Can a pharm tech have fake nails?7h agoHi, just got hired as a pharmacy tech at cvs but have not received anything about a dress code yet. I was going to get my nails done, are fake nails allowed? Is there a limit on length or anything? If another pharm tech could check that'd be great thanks!! When did CVS as a company start really going downhill.8h agoWe might all agree it really turned south during the pandemic. But I think it really started to go south when they forced us to push Carepass on every person we encountered. Retail managers who successfully pivoted out, I’d love your advice.10h agoRetail managers who successfully pivoted out I’d love your advice. I’m graduating soon and entering a Store Manager in Training role at CVS. Retail isn’t my end goal, but it’s a stable opportunity, and I want to be strategic about how I use it. If you transitioned out of retail management: \- How long did you stay before pivoting? \- Where did you end up (corporate, ops, PM, HR, etc.)? \- What made the transition easier or harder? \- Anything you’d do differently? I’m also planning to pursue higher education (MSIS or MSHI) and debating whether staying within the same company or moving externally makes more sense long term. Advice on SMIT/SM Positions10h agoI’m graduating soon and received an offer for the CVS Store Manager in Training (SMIT) program. Right now, this is my only offer so I’m seriously considering it for job security. I wanted to hear from people who’ve gone through the SMIT program or became Store Managers at CVS: \- How was your experience? \- Did you feel the role was worth it? \- What do you wish you knew before starting? \- How did you prepare before Day 1? Long term, I’d like to pivot into something beyond store-level retail if possible, so I’m also curious if anyone has successfully moved into corporate or non-store roles after SMIT. Any honest insight (good or bad) would be appreciated. Front Store is not Pharmacy's *****11h agoOur pharmacy is FULLY staffed. I mean they have 10 people at all times. Front Store is lucky to have 2 people. Our pharmacy staff acts like FS staff are there to work for THEM. They need bags? They can't be bothered to send one of their ten people to get the box. Out of register paper? Nope. They call us and tell us they need some. When we tell them "hey, it's just a manager and a cashier right now. We can't help you" they get angry and demand we stop what we are doing to help them. Now I know what you're thinking. Maybe they don't know where the supples are! They do. I've personally shown them multiple times. They don't want to spare a sin... Looking for and Older style of Foot Scubber11h agoTrying to find the manufacturer or more supply of this foot scrubber for a friend. It’s a Rough Pink Pumice like Material with plastic and rubber base for use in the shower. Concave and convex portions. 7” x 3” x 1 1/4” in size. Was originally bought at a Walgreens Pharmacy, but unsure if it was store brand or as see on TV brand. Only print is China on the Bottom. The Unemployed GF13h agoQuestions15h agoI am planning on going to Israel for the first time around September to November. I have never traveled out of the US. I’m also Autistic. I haven’t flown anywhere in over 10 years. I’m in my 40’s and I have a terminal health condition but my doctors will allow me to come to Israel for a short time before I can’t. Do all your suitcases make it to Israel usually? What happens if they lose your suitcase? How long does it take to go through security when you arrive? I want to have realistic expectations since it will be my first time. How easy is it to get care at a hospital through the emergency room? If you need Tylenol or allergy medication do you need to go to a pharmacy or c... From D.Pharm to BPT: Career guidance needed15h agoHi everyone, I’m currently in my second year of D.Pharm, and my pharmacy course is about to finish. After a lot of thinking I’ve realized that I don’t want to continue my career in pharmacy Instead I’m planning to take admission in BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) because I feel more interested in this field and want to grow in it long term. My future plan is to: • Open a medical store • Run a physiotherapy clinic • Work in a hospital as a physiotherapist I would really like to know if this is a good career path. Has anyone here switched from pharmacy to physiotherapy or knows someone who has? I’d really appreciate honest advice about: • Scope of physiotherapy • Career g... Leaving you was the beginning17h agoDoes anyone know the link for this? Freezing20h agoDoes your store have heat?!!! My store is freezing cold not just chilly. The heat cannot be functional. I refuse to pay $80 for a jacket to wear in pharmacy and the scrubs are paper thin. It was so bad the other day that my nose was running nonstop, I was shivering uncontrollably, and couldn’t think straight. I’m not the only one freezing. There was no difference between store temp and outside (calling for snow). DM stopped by and SFL mentioned it to them and was told it’s hard to heat a large building and just shrugged it off. Patients/customers have complained. I started wearing two pairs of fleece lined leggings and shirts under my scrubs and gloves. I’m using pocket warmers and s... Deductible and OOP max20h agoHello! Much like everyone else, my insurance skyrocketed this year. My deductible is around $6000 and my max oop is around $8000. My doctor sent in prescriptions to cvs (med was 1200) and another into optum specialty pharmacy (med was 3900). My insurance app is saying I have paid $5000 and have just under 1000 left until I meet my deductible. I did not pick up the medications bc they’re too expensive (I am working on a diff and cheaper med with my dr don’t worry lol). Will the “payment” stay in my insurances info or will the pharmacies notify them that I did not pick the medications up? I don’t want to end up owing the insurance company any money and tbh I don’t even want to pay... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
