Hi all, my kitty recently had an AKI and he was prescribed sub q fluids at home for two weeks after being discharged from the hospital. However, I'm alone and really struggling to administer them. He freaks out when the needle goes in (screams, lurches forward abruptly making it hard to insert) and then really doesn't like the feeling of the fluid entering him either, he shivers the whole time and tries to get away. Does the savings card only work through the lily direct pharmacy when you are self pay? Or maybe the issue is the prescription is for a pen and the savings card only works for the vials?
