Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyRant from a New Grad Pharmacist3h agoNever thought I would find myself here but here we are. New grad pharmacist thrown into a tier 4 store with only a 3 hour pharmacist overlap for 3 hours out of my 9 hour shift today. I was working to process a vaccine for a patient and it kept returning with an invalid ID number per the insurance. After a couple tries, I got the pharmacist to attempt and he ended up having to contact the insurance (only to find out the birth date was actually incorrect on the profile - shouldn't this had flagged with the tech creating the vaccine appointment??) Well, the couple had to wait for some time until we could get the insurance processed - the RxOM is shouting at us and rushing us to get the... Ran out of eliquis today and tomorrow is New Years Holiday, am I at risk?4h agoI have one pill left. I didn't pay attention and forgot to go to my pharmacy to get my eliquis today, its a small pharmacy and it closes at 5pm. They will also be closed tomorrow on New Years. I had an ablation in August and haven't had any AFIB since. Am I at risk of developing a clot? I will be moving my prescriptions to a CVS or Walgreens because they stay open later and also work smaller holidays. How much did you pay for your estradiol patch?6h agoMy insurance did not cover it so I paid $58.52 at walgreens and goodrx or other options were all higher for 0.05mg twice a week 16 count I also found Progestrone 100mg 90 count for $25.80 at a local pharmacy store with goodrx. How much did you guys pay cash for these? Should i quit my job ?7h agoHello, so im a new grad just got licensed about 3 months ago, work at a specialty pharmacy as a floater. Both my manager left and staff is on vacation and i honestly didn’t get proper training. Now i just do shifts everyday at my home store + a floater (if they show up!) . I feel like i’m carrying the load and responsibility of a manger and putting off fires everywhere, plus doing 2 rph jobs and coming early before opening to get things done because i keep getting call offs .. i’m still missing a few things here and there(but again im still new and no time to do every little thing right). Scheduler seems to think it’s not a big deal cuz it’s a small store (but it’s doesn’t matt... Hannaford Pharmacy Central Processing / Albany, NY8h agoHi All, I’m a pharmacist moving back to the Capital District from Arizona, just wondering if anybody here is a tech or pharmacist with Hannaford Central Processing in that area. The job posting listed the store @ 900 Central Ave in Albany, but also the DC in Schodack Landing - where would I be working if I were to be hired? Also, do they have WFH positions or is it mostly / totally on-site? I noticed that they require me to be BLS & vaccine-certified (I am), which I found odd if it’s a closed-door pharmacy…do they rotate pharmacists out to stores / community clinics to help out with immunizations? Any answers to my questions or general info you could provide about the job / du... why is there so many police on speedway9h agotheres alotta police presence on speedway east of country club around the area i circled in the pic does anyone know? Stock Market Recap for Wednesday, December 31, 20259h agoStock Market Recap for Wednesday, December 31, 20259h agoStock Market Recap for Wednesday, December 31, 20259h agoAnother 30 Rock crossword!10h agoHow does Walgreens survive?10h agoThis is not some smart *** post, I'm seriously asking. That being said, to reiterate, lol, how does Walgreens survive? With competition like Amazon, Walmart and Kroger, just to name a few; and then factoring in theft as well, how in the **** do they do it? Is it because of their prescription presence? I know a lot of people use Walgreens for prescriptions but tons of people also use Walmart and Kroger for prescriptions as well. Whenever I go into either of those stores, the lines for the pharmacy are ridiculous. I see these lines and it makes me appreciate that I have no prescriptions. Walgreens grocery items are always overpriced. They're on the same level as Safeway which I r... Tired of this ****.10h agoI’m tired of Walmart enabling customer’s disruptive behavior. I was on break. I was walking up front to grab a soda for my break at the same time I remembered my wife also asked me to pick up her medicine, so I can just clock out and head home. So I turned around to head to pharmacy and I meet a customer pushing a cart. We both swerve in the same direction and she says “get the **** out of my way asshole”. I didnt even do anything. I tell management and they said theres nothing they can do about it. Why not kick the customer out of the store? That was completely uncalled for. No wonder why associates are short tempered and get ****** all the time. Walmart doesn’t have our b... Moving to Hong Kong with kids - neighborhood advice needed11h agoHi everyone! My family and I are considering a move to Hong Kong, and I’d love some advice on neighborhoods, especially from parents. Right now, we live in Europe in a city center apartment that’s surprisingly quiet and very walkable. Our street has everything we need: pharmacies, grocery and convenience stores, cafés, restaurants, parks, gyms and honestly, we rarely even have to leave our street 😅 At the same time, it doesn’t feel hectic or noisy at all. It’s calm, easygoing, and very livable, especially with kids. I’m hoping to find something with a similar vibe in Hong Kong: family-friendly, relatively quiet, walkable with daily essentials, parks, and activities close by.... Advice about not being able to pick up my T11h agoOk so basically, I’ve been on T for 3 months and 15 days now (I started T September 15th of 2025), and this morning I ran out of my T gel. I’m on 3 pumps, so I think 3.75%? (Sorry I can’t remember off the top of my head, I threw the box out.) Anyways, I’ve never ran out early until now, but I figured my prescription would be ready to pick up (Also the pharmacy I personally use is CVS). However, when I called them they said I had nothing to pick up which immediately made me concerned. I thought to myself “Maybe I can just go there and ask them about it…” Well, when I went there and asked them, they told me it was too early to fill the T prescription. The worst part? It’s not g... Moving from Massachusetts. Thoughts? Insights?12h agoFound some older posts in here but figured I'd see what's been going on more recently with the massive growth GT has been experiencing. Definitely looking for input from folks who have made a similar move. My wife and I are late 50s with two adult kids (19 and 20, both already graduated 4y college) and we (especially me) have had it with MA. I am tired of giving away my $$$ to the state and paying insane amounts to live here. It was a great place to raise my kids, but the cons have started outweighing the pros. I've looked around the country and as a family, we have landed on Georgetown (or nearby area) for a few reasons. Fiscally, TX won't take $$$ from my retirem... Pharmacy recommendations12h agoGetting increasingly frustrated with CVS and how it's now impossible to reach a live person anymore. I'm over it, especially since they changed their phone tree to remove the option of getting through to the pharmacy. The app doesn't work well either, for what I need. Can anyone recommend a non-CVS pharmacy in OP with GOOD customer service, in person and over the phone? Rant: Angrily yelled at floater Rph today, first time I've lost it since being with CVS.12h ago**My techs were clocked in on-time and ready-to-go but once again locked outside of the pharmacy waiting for this floater to appear. Floater has been similarly late 3 out of 4 scheduled shifts at my store in the last 10 days. I had already planned on submitting a scathing floater evaluation form (this floater has also caused other incredible problems during their shifts over the last 2 weeks -- I actually think they may be on drugs or something the behavior is so irresponsible), but when this happened this morning I couldn't stop myself from calling them and unleashing loud, angry words on them. I lost control. About 15 minutes later they called me from the bathroom to explain w...
