This is a genuine question - I’m not trying to **** on pharmacists. Maybe this is a me thing or a regional thing or a CVS thing, or maybe some people also have a similar experience. I had a question up earlier asking if pharmacists required special training or formal education because I thought it might have been more akin to retail level work/entry level, as I did have a pharmacist (or pharmacy technician? Not sure the difference) accidentally give me someone’s heart medicine, then call me and try to get me to come back to the store to return it. That and a few other CVS times where I was given wrong medication (labeled incorrectly) so I was genuinely curious.

Recently I went in for an interview at cvs to start my career in pharmacy tech ever since completing a course at my local community college, after the interview, the interviewer told me that I’d be contacted in two weeks. So I started working in the pharmacy in early Jan of 2025. Every so often I would be 10+ minutes late, and worked myself into a final written warning in August. Some of these are just pure cash and others are like 3 dollars off 9 dollars of make up etc. Yesterday I bought 18 dollars worth of make up for 2 dollars with just these coupons I spent nothing to get. Hey guys, this is my first time writing here and I have a question. I’m a certified pharmacy technician, and I recently started my job at CVS Pharmacy. They told me I need to stay at Pick-Up for about six months, but I’ve noticed that no one wants me in Production because they think I’m too clumsy and that I ask too many questions. My store manager also told me that I look stressed and should be calmer.
