I haven’t heard what happens when Sycamore takes over. My pharmacy is unionized for techs (rite aid store), does the pharmacy still stay unionized?

The original manufacturer of Nuvaring recently sold its license, but the new manufacturer is not approved for HEB pharmacies. Even worse, if you’re on UT’s student insurance, generic forms are not covered anywhere. CVS might have it, but they’re not in-network. Not sure about other pharmacies at this point. UHS offers some procedures (IUD, nexplanon) at little to no cost with student insurance, so there’s options, but this is still incredibly frustrating. Posting this so others don’t find out the hard way!

Are y’all’s store manger involved or even acknowledge the pharmacy, ours only come back there is there’s a complaint or they have medicine themselves 🫩

I just got hired on for pharmacy cashier. I made my oneid on the store computer but I cannot access my account from my phone either on the app or the web. I tried to change my password on the work computer and it says the original password is not my password? I’m so confused. I saw the other post and tried the two factor and changing the password but as I said above it won’t let me it says my password is it my password lol.

Are there any pharmacies in Houston near 77074 where I can get estrodal with out them broadcasting my information in any national database? I understand they have to have records for 2 years legally, but I would rather keep it to that pharmacy only. CVS/Wallgreens for example all share it nationally. I want to try HRT to see if its for me but I want to be able to go back and not risk the fact that my other doctors would find out about it (of course I would tell them if its relevent).

I am in midst of the retail pharmacy chaos with Rite Aid closures. I know retail pharmacy has been on a steep decline in terms of unbelievable workload, mental health suffering, lack of support from the upper management, and we thought COVID was the worst of it. My pain specialist gave me this recipe for “triple cream”. I’ve used it for everything from costo pain to pain from a dysfunctional scapula and every ache and pain in between. I just mixed it up in an old cottage cheese container and it saved just fine between that and a couple small travel containers I keep in my purse and desk at work. This batch has lasted almost a year. I don’t find it to have a strong odor and it’s non greasy.

Spent most of my visit in the Downtown, Whyte Ave and Sherwood Park areas. Downtown has really improved since I was there the last time (about 10 years ago). I took the LRT into the city. Clean and well organized. I had read that the LRT, and downtown in general, had a homeless problem and could be unsafe, however I did not feel uncomfortable at any time during my visit. Hi folks, I started training for pharm tech about a month ago at a cvs location. I hit a phase in the training that my PM had to schedule me. Told him that and for some reason he tried to deflect it onto my FTC? He tells me they’re out of hours and he can’t even supply me the hours to finish my little bit of computer work I got left. I’m the only technician scheduled on Saturday, but I’ve been having terrible foot pain and I need to use my paid sick time (I’m part-time, so that’s all I have). Should I call the store tonight to let them know, since the pharmacy will be closed, or wait until tomorrow morning to text my rxom and the store manager that I’m calling out sick
