A Pharmacy start-up idea!4h agoHey guys, I (29m) have a small startup idea that I think can work in Kerala and maybe expand later. I really need honest feedback. Please tell me if this makes sense or if I should drop it. If anyone wants to discuss or even talk about investing, I am open. In my area, most medical shops are on the main road or highway. People from residential areas always go there even for regular medicines. I keep thinking, what if we place small medical stores inside the residential pockets instead? My idea is to rent small open plots and place compact precast units there and run a pharmacy. A team called Ferrocon makes them. They are affordable and can be moved if a location does not work. So setup cos... A small Scalable startup Ideas for Kerala. Please advice/criticize4h agoHey guys, I (29M) have this small startup idea that I think can be implemented in Kerala and then possibly expanded further if it works. I really need you all to criticize it honestly or support it if it makes sense. I want to know what I can improve, or if this is something I should leave completely. And if anyone would like to discuss it further or even explore investment, I’m open to that too. ---> So here’s the idea. In most areas, I’ve noticed that most medical stores are located along the main roads or highways. Almost everyone from nearby homes ends up going to these highway shops even for regular medicines. I keep thinking like, what if we bring the pharmacy closer to w... Midi Question..5h agoHey all. I have two silly questions for those of you that are using Mid 1) how the **** do you contact your provider? 2) what pharmacy did you use for your patch? I had my first call with them last Sunday. Since I was looking for an increase on my patch, it was super quick and easy. Only real challenge is that my NP only works weekends. So she hasn't reached out to the pharmacy about needing to change up my patch order yet. Also, I switched my prescription from CVS to Capsule hoping I'd have better luck getting it in stock. So now I'm both in between a transfer AND waiting for my NP to get the original message from CVS. I have a feeling getting things filled might tak... Do you have to use CVS Caremark pharmacies with the JPMC Cigna plan?6h agoFor GLPs like Zepbound, can we use something like Amazon Pharmacy? Search taco6h agoCVS order. Should I have scanned this manufacturer coupon barcode at checkout?7h agoCVS Pharmacy - Help With Becoming An Immunizer8h agoHello! I've completed the CPR course, the APhA course, received the certificate, and gave a copy of the certificate to my pharmacist. However, it still says in the IMZ Dashboard that I'm only 75% finished and "attention required" because my NABP ID is missing and my APhA Immunizer certificate hasn't been uploaded yet by the pharmacist. I know the certificate is something my PIC has to upload, and I just have to keep asking her if she's done it yet. But my question is where do I go to put in my NABP ID? My PIC didn't know, and she sent a message to her pharmacists' chat but no one has responded yet. Also - hopefully once I become an Immuni... [Request] How many miles of receipt paper an average CVS store uses in a year?8h agoOlder, retired folks: Can we please be a bit more strategic about when we run errands?9h ago11:30 AM. I remember I need to run to CVS to get my allergy meds because although I love this time of year, it hates me. I'm pushing it, but I think I can beat at least *some* of the lunch rush. I sign off of Slack, grab my keys, and go. I'm in the parking lot by 11:40. Spots are filling up, but I've seen more chaotic pharmacy parking lots in my day. I grab my things and dash inside. There's a line. A short line of three, but still a line. In front of me, a younger gentleman. In front of him, a white-haired woman who was born in 1960. I know this because she shouted her PII to the pharmacist. The lady behind the counter leaves to fetch meds and returns within a minute... Pharmacies with Vyvanse9h agoLong shot, I know, but anyone happen to know a pharmacy that has access to Vyvanse generic 30mg? CVS has either told me out of stock of backorder. I’m really hoping that anyone has had a pharmacy that has reliably had it in stock. Really desperate after calling 60 locations. I live in Journal Square and can commute up to Newark and North Bergen Do yall have issues with pharmacies?9h agoI know a lot of folks call around to different pharmacies for certain generics. I have my Adzenys filled at one CVS and my evekeo filled at Walmart (where the rest of my family fills their meds- including the dog). CVS tried to order evekeo for a month but their specific distributor was back ordered. The pharmacist gave my provider “a verbal lashing” and said we were being deceptive using two pharmacies. WTF… so now I’m feeling some type of way 🙄 I don’t have my Adzenys sent to Walmart because they can’t be bothered to figure out how to run my secondary insurance and Adzenys is $226 out of pocket without my secondary picking up part… I read DT was opening a new store near me in a former CVS9h agoI had to get some lab work I had been putting off, so my treat was going to the new DT afterwards. They were supposed to open 2/12, I thought oooh freshly stocked with all the things. I went and they were CLOSED!!!! Sign said opening in a few days. What a let down. Is it worth it to keep trying XR if i switch mfrs?9h agoSo XR worked really well for me and much more focus i think than IR always a few years ago. but the last year or so CVS has only had Elite. The 10mg XR blue ones give me fatigue and side effects. We tried lowering it to 5mgxr and suprisingly those worked better but I had to take 2 and somehow that worked better than the 10s? We also tried 15mg xr at one point in 2024, and they seemed to be better, but a lot of the times made my heart race really bad and give me rage-y anxiety, so I would dump out half and take half and that seemed to work way better than taking two of the 10s?? What is up with that? But its been since 2024 since Ive tried the 15mg. Have an appointment today and won... Sandoz this month, different batch12h agoSo I picked up my Sandoz from a different CVS due to my regular one being out of stock. Again, like december when I also went to a different CVS, I'm finding it to be more compatible with my body and helping more with focus and not giving me such horrible side effects. A google search told me that batches are made in the millions sometimes for generic stimulants, and I kind of have a theory that I was for months and months getting the same horrible batch from my regular CVS. Would I call it great? No, but it doesn't feel toxic at least. The tablets have a little bit more of a sheen on them than normal as well. Curious if others have experienced this? I wonder sometimes if ... Super annoying refill Rx text messages12h agoAnyone was able to resolve this ****? In addition to their super creepy app they bombard me with "do you need this Rx refill messages?"... Not to get into specifics, but some prescriptions are taken not daily but based on need. You have refills approved but as you are taking meds based on needs it's not every 30 day refill or every 90 day refill. So I don't need those constant crappy text messages. They are just annoying, and they send them every few days. Each message contains option not to be reminded but my reply is ignored and they remind every few days. Honestly, they treated me like complete. *****. Every few days I'm getting something like "Do you... Last chance! Update-PNW and thank you12h agoI posted a few weeks ago and received a ton of support when we organized the walkout here in the PNW. It worked, it forced the company to take drastic action and our demands were finally heard. Overnight, VPs were suddenly in our stores asking what we needed. Before this, we never even saw our RD in the stores let alone our DL. The crazy thing? The same district leaders who failed to do their jobs, and the same RD who was previously demoted by CVS years ago, have been brought back yet again. Rite Aid leadership manages from afar, they never listened and they never care. The state of their company speaks for itself. CVS made a desperate move hiring this leadership and they are paying for it... CVS App Enshittification12h agoI'm sorry to use this term but that's how it is. First of all they bomb me with notification and the only way to get rid of this marketing **** is to disable ALL notifications. Unfortunately, CVS app doesn't have any setting to choose what notifications to get and disabling all will disable prescription notifications as well. But today they really enshittify it, I call it "reaching new lows". I was on a business call and as it was not my focus at the moment opened CVS app to check something. The moment I opened it video or audio starts with some marketing message. Very loud. I'm shocked. Only super crappy apps start with some sound, video the moment you open... Over scheduling12h agoI work at a retail pharmacy store and I started a couple months ago, my job is understaffed but they seem to have no plans on hiring anyone else. I’m in college also so I have to balance it, but my job keeps scheduling me 28-34 hours a week, which when I got hired I told them I would do 15-23 max hours. How should I go about asking the store manager? I know it would be hard since all my other co workers are pushing 40 hours a week but I was hired on as a part time employee ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
