Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyHow long did it take for you to get your pharmacy records from CVS/Walgreens?50m agoThe Air Force wants me to get my pharmacy records from the last five years for my medical waiver, but the thing is that I don’t have any records. My recruiter said that it’s fine if there’s no data as long as my full name, date of birth, and other information are included. I’ve called CVS multiple times and they told me that they can’t give me my pharmacy records because I don’t have any. After I explained my situation to them, they told me to send them an email. However, I’ve already emailed them more than once and I’ve only gotten one response from them, which was almost two weeks ago. After two weeks of not getting any updates from them, I called them again today ... Can you buy beer at any of the CVS stores in Charlottesville?1h agoAre signs in Louisiana businesses and schools often translated into French?2h agoIn southern California, signs at major chain stores such as Walmart, Target, CVS, and Lowe's are often written in both English and Spanish. Spanish language billboards are common, there are Spanish newspapers, TV channels, and radio stations, even public schools often have Spanish signage. Spanish signage is also commonly seen in banks, government offices, and public transportation. Ballots for elections are translated into Spanish. This is despite the fact that California's only official language has been English since 1986. Does the same apply for French in Louisiana? Are there French language ballots, French signage at Walmart, French-language newspapers and French billboards i... Eli Lilly savings card-for sleep apnea2h agoSo I have been taking Zep for 11 months. I lost my insurance coverage in July. Well I kept my insurance but they quit covering it. I tried Wegovy but it didn’t agree with me. So I got the Lilly savings card and have been paying out of pocket. I was using a CVS pharmacy. I just moved to a new town and transferred my scripts to Walgreens. They are saying I can’t use the savings card since I was prescribed for sleep apnea and not obesity. Has anyone run into this? Is this a real thing? Paying $650 for the pens was bad enough. Should I try a different pharmacy? Maybe Walmart? Any other suggestions? Two for one special today..3h agoWhere are you getting Rhapsido?3h agoMy fiance was prescribed Rhapsido for her MCAS and was given two one-month samples. Insurance approved it almost immediately but Walgreens called and said they are unable to order it and transferred the prescription to Ingles. Ingles called this morning and said they were also unable to order it and transferred it to CVS. CVS just called me to tell me that they’re unable to order it, also. I called Novartis and told them that no pharmacy in my area is able to acquire their drug and they told me that it shouldn’t be an issue and gave me a number to give to the pharmacies, but all of those pharmacies refused to even call it. I know it’s brand new and probably not in most vendors’ stoc... Is there a neoliberal argument for the systemic closure of independent pharmacies?3h agoLarge retail pharmacies like CVS have been documented buying local independent pharmacies just to close them and transferring customer's prescription to the closest CVS/Walgreens/Duane Reade. (https://www.bu.edu/bulawreview/files/2024/12/LESLIE.pdf) I understand this if the local pharmacy is unprofitable, but if these local pharmacies ARE profitable, is there a neoliberal argument for this practice? When this happens to local pharmacies that are profitable, and a new chain pharmacy doesn't open in its place, residents can be left with a long/inconvenient journey to the closest large pharmacy. I'm curious if the subreddit supports this kind of economic behavior, and if so, what... ADVICE (Can I negotiate my wage on an offer to work as a Pharmacy Tech Trainee)?4h agoSome background: I'm a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree. I used to work in a lab, getting paid $20 an hour. The location is a CVS in northern New Jersey. I am not certified, nor have prior experience. I just received an offer for $18. Do you think it would be acceptable to send an email to the hiring manager to increase the wage so that it's closer $19 if not $20, before accepting the offer. I have bills that need to be paid (like we all do), and a higher wage would put me more at ease. But am I in over my head? Is what I'm asking unreasonable? The median for the area is 17-21 dollars, according to Google (I don't know if it's a trustworthy source). If... My experience using Oshi (online GI telehealth)4h agoHey everyone! I’ve seen a few posts on here asking about virtual care, so I thought people might benefit from me sharing my experience. (Mods please remove if this isn’t allowed!) I’ve dealt with digestive issues for years. Lots of doctor visits, lots of referrals, and not much progress. The worst part was dealing with insurance and logistics. Half the time the GI doc I was referred to wasn’t in network, wasn’t taking patients, or was hours away. Not great when you need a bathroom nearby. Someone recommended Oshi to me, they’re a telehealth company focused on gastrointestinal (GI) care, and I’ve been using them for a little while now. Here’s what I like: * Fast access - ... ADVICE (Can I negotiate my wage on an offer to work as a Pharmacy Tech Trainee)?5h agoSome background: I'm a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree. Find low prices on prescriptions.5h agoDifferent manufacturer-med shortage5h agoHi everyone! Has anyone asked the pharmacy if they can fill meds from a different manufacturer to combat the shortage? My perscriber is on vacation and my med is out of stock at cvs. I'm on day 3 of no meds and really messing up at work. Im genuinely concerned and not sure how to get through the rest of this week. I am in healthcare and obviously mistakes can be very detrimental. If anyone has requested to use a different manufacturer please feel free to share your experience. So, is their criminally understaffing the pharmacy due to hatred of the customer or the employee?6h agoThe drive-thru is wrapped around building blocking people from entering or leaving. The line in the store for the pharmacy takes up almost the entire main aisle of the store and they have one person at the register from front and one person for drive-thru. I am forced to ask if this is just some sort of complex social experiment to see who breaks first, the customer or the employee. Pharmacy tech trainee6h agoHas anyone taken their training license somewhere else besides CVS? I went through the board of pharmacy website, but CVS is not working out.
