Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyCan I store methimazole with vitamins?4h agoOkay, this might be a silly question, but I'm having a hard time finding a definitive answer. I'm horrible at remembering to take or if I took my meds every day. \*Thanks, brain fog.\* I have a daily pill organizer thingy. At the moment, only my methimazole is in it, so I can remember to take it, and know for sure if I forgot. I've also started taking B12 and iron supplements due to deficiencies. Can I put all 3 in the organizer together? Google says there are no chemical interactions, and they can be taken together, but don't store them in the same container. Is this just so that I don't get confused and take the wrong thing? All 3 pills look starkly different. ... walking to work in negative degree weather5h agoso i live a few blocks from my store, and while we're not projected to bet a ton of snow, temps are expected to plummet to the -10s (and feel even colder due to windchill) even during the middle of the day. schools are closed because of the projected temp, other businesses are closing, even the cvs down the street from me is going to be closed tomorrow. i don't have a car and walk to work every day, and i'm kind of nervous about walking in that weather, but would i be protected in calling out? how should i do so? my SM is already not working tomorrow, but idk about other partners' plans :( crossposting from the barista subreddit for maximum exposure lol walking to work in negative degree weather5h agoso i live a few blocks from my store, and while we're not projected to bet a ton of snow, temps are expected to plummet to the -10s (and feel even colder due to windchill) even during the middle of the day. schools are closed because of the projected temp, other businesses are closing, even the cvs down the street from me is going to be closed tomorrow. i don't have a car and walk to work every day, and i'm kind of nervous about walking in that weather, but would i be protected in calling out? how should i do so? my SM is already not working tomorrow, but idk about other partners' plans :( Hired.5h agoHey everyone. Just got hired as a pharmacy tech and I was just wondering what I should expect? I worked for CVS before in the front store and tbh I loved it. My management was great the pay was good the only complaint I had was the low hours but I really loved the front store part. This is my first time being a pharmacy tech and just had a few questions. Does CVS Require you to take the PTCB Exam and how was training? External Sales Manager Hire here! Any advice?5h agoHello everyone! I was recently hired on as an external candidate for Sales Manager. I come from CVS and have a lot of retail management experience. I start next week, and I am excited. However, want any advice in this role & what the chain of command is in the store? From my understanding, I would be over cashiers & Lead Cashiers, but I pretty much report to the Experience Manager & GM of course. Are Merch. Managers, Operations Managers, and Sales Managers pretty much equivalent to each other? CVS Has Too Much Power. Break Up Big Medicine.7h agoThank you to all of our witnesses for coming here today. Mr. Joyner, you are the CEO of CVS Health, correct? Correct. And I actually don’t know how many Americans know this, but CVS Health owns Aetna, the health insurance company, correct? Correct. And CVS, which owns Aetna, also owns Oak Street Health medical clinics, correct? Yes, it does. And in addition to that, they own CVS pharmacies, and CVS Health also owns CVS Caremark, the pharmacy benefit manager that helps negotiate rebates and prescription prices, correct? That’s correct. And CVS Caremark processes nearly 30% of all prescriptions in a given year. In other words, CVS Caremark helps determine the prices that patients pay for ... Empty patient profile (pharmacy)7h agoWhat’s the point of a patient having a profile under CVS, but there are 0 modifications in their profile? Do they have a different pharmacy (e.g., Walgreens) or is there another explanation? Next step7h agoMy insurance now requires me to hit my deductible ($4,000), before they will cover my prescription for Wegovy. When from paying $24.99 to $1,400. Are there any options or hope for me? If using CVS Caremark pharmacy is an option for me, is it beneficial- I don’t know much about it, but trying my best to educate myself 😅 tired of trying to find the “perfect cocktail” i just want something to work.8h agoi’m cucking tired bro. management8h agoi can’t help but feel like my DL’s are micro picking on me, i’m a regular shift supervisor and i’ve been with cvs for 2ish years and we recently got a new store manager and yet again somehow in the topic of conversation simple as me being on my phone yet i do the most work, im one of their best workers on our team and im constantly being useful and helpful yet something as simple as me being on my phone for a sec gets under them. i understand the phone policy but i have coworkers who come in and do absolutely nothing and if anything hold us behind, yet they don’t get reprimanded and it’s just gotten to a point where i feel like they are personally coming in and trying to find wha... Struggling with justifying to continue Mac development in the current market8h agoAfter years of indie Mac development, I'm questioning whether this path is still viable to quite corporate job at all. How are others thinking about this? I've been developing for Mac with a group of friends for a couple of years now, and I'm struggling to see where this is heading now. I thought AI would be a productivity boost for devs. It is. But it's also an opened flood gates for vibecoders of all sorts. Apps that took months to build before can now be copied and launched in days, especially if something similar is already published as an open source. The moat from technical complexity is disappearing fast. Talking about open source. It keeps eating paid apps. I l... CVS no longer part of Horizon NJ Health’s network9h agoJust got this letter in the mail today, dated 1 month ago lol. CVS is no longer part of Horizon NJ Health‘s pharmacy network. Can anyone with Horizon NJ Health recommend a different pharmacy? Pharmacy intern9h agoHey, I got a pharmacy intern offer at Walgreens in Massachusetts. I’m really excited but also nervous since I read a lot of negative comments. I worked briefly at CVS as a pharmacy tech and it was very stressful. What do you guys think? What to expect? Any tips? Thanks! Need help or advice please!10h agoSo I’m trying to get Wegovy I have Aetna insurance. The doctor sent in the preapproval they denied it. I called to see why they denied it and they said that there’s a stipulation saying I have to be a part of weight management program which will CVS so Aetna pharmacy connected me with CVS rate management program and I was talking to the lady there and she said they have to have an approved prior authorization in order for me to do that program so we did a three-way call between her myself and Aetna pharmacy and Aetna pharmacy says that the prior approval was denied and that I have to have six months of the CVS weight management program in order for the medicine to be approved so I say my... Health insurance gets a cut, pharmacy benefit manager gets a cut, drug manufacturer gets a cut, and the patient gets screwed Recent visit and Urgent Care11h agoWe just returned from a 5 day trip. Our vacation wasn't what we set out for it to be. But, I will say the Radisson Blu is a great hotel. Super comfortable beds! The room had a fridge and microwave which we used after stocking up at Super Foods. (I felt like a kid in a candy store. Loved the cheese and deli counters. And the pastries are fabulous!) The hotel was very clean with restaurants and bars on property. Friendly staff and nice pools. Short walk to beach at end of street or take a hotel shuttle which is available every 30 minutes. Short walking distance also to many shops, restaurants and bars in Palm Beach area. Loved Scratch Kitchen and On The Rocks. We didn't get to do e... Building a hyper-local ecosystem solo: 10 months to V1, now at V5. How do you manage "Feature Overload?"11h agoHey everyone, new here. I’m the solo founder and developer of Zer0, an Android app I’ve been building natively in Kotlin for the past year. I’ve just hit Version 5, and the journey has been a massive test of endurance. I’m currently balancing a 9-5 and coding until 12 to 1 AM most nights. The project has evolved into a bit of an "all-in-one" ecosystem for local communities, and I’d love to get some perspective from fellow solo founders on the "scope" of what I’m building. The core features currently live: 1. Hyper-Local E-commerce: Small business owners can list stores that are only visible to users within a 10km radius. The goal is to drive act... The demise of DD?11h agoI worked corporate Fortune 500 for 38 years, here’s a history lesson. Every company, EVER, it’s always about saturation. Profits be ******, he with the most store doors wins when ‘building’ the business. Rite Aid was the largest pharmacy chain for decades, 5,500 doors at its peak. The downfall started in 1999 when they had to borrow capital and slowly started closing doors. 2023 they filed bankruptcy for the first time, ALL stores closed in 2025. That’s the worst of the worst but ruminate on the following as well : Sears, Toys R Us, Party City, Pier 1, Payless, Bed Bath & Beyond, Joann Fabrics. My point - it’s a matter of time for DD. Consumer trends, customers fed ... SM BONUS12h agoAs a newer store manager what percentage do you receive out of your bonus pool on the last P&L report. Mine says 21,432. Make all my metrics by 3 hearts all year but 1 of them and my pharmacy made well over there projected numbers not sure if that matters. ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
