Sublet or lease takeover for one room in 2B1B $1600 Beacon Hill

4h ago

2 Beds 1 Bath - Apartment, one room for rent (Lease takeover or sublease) Bright, fully furnished room for rent in 2B1B Beacon Hill with flexible move-in between March and May 2026 Very central location minutes from the Charles River esplanade and super close to subway and grocery stores. I love living here, relocating to a different city for work. Respectful, working professional or student female tenants preferred as you’ll be living with one other woman. Transportation: 5 minute walk from Charles MGH station (red line) \~15 minute walk from North Station (green line) \~10 minute walk from Bowdoin (blue line) Groceries: 3 minute walk from Whole Foods and CVS, 10 min walk from T...

Some food for thought .

5h ago

These are two bottles of supposed adderall generic I have come across from CVS and I notice that while they both list the common brand as adderall, the label on one would seem to indicate the drug was just dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine). Not sure if this was a purely a mistake or labeling shorthand but I wonder how stringent different pharmacies are about these enantiomer mixtures. Something to keep an eye out for.

Cayuga St. Kinney to close

5h ago

The Kinney’s on Cayuga St. is the only store many of us can walk to, and the only pharmacy left in downtown Ithaca. yes, it’s tiny. Yes, its hours are limited. But it’s a regional, employee owned chain that offers essential products. you can express concern about the closing at this site: [Www.kinney-cares.com](http://www.kinney-cares.com/)

Is a delay in medication approval my doctors fault?

5h ago

Hi all, I have been going through Talkiatry (yes I know) for about a year to get ADHD treatment and prescriptions. I’ve had 0 problems with my doctor, but lately I’ve been having issues with getting my meds (Vyvanse and as needed Adderall) when my default pharmacy is out. For example, this is what has occurred this past refill: Thurs, Feb 5th: Request sent into Pharmacy(CVS), Pharmacy calls and says they are out and it may be months until they get more. I call around, find my local Walgreens has them in stock. Call my doctor and have her cancel the prescription and send it to Walgreens. Cancel myself with CVS. Fri, Feb 6th: Call Walgreens to see the status, they say they have no reco...

Veins of the Grove (Part 1)

7h ago

# Veins of the Grove  # PART 1 The sound of my shoes knocking on waxed linoleum sounded sharp, sterile, like my presence was being communicated to everybody in the surrounding rooms. The mere fact I noticed it so much spoke to the extent of my exhaustion. Still, as I approached the doorway, the door was already open so I'd seen her smiling and waving at me from her chair. As I crossed the threshold from hallway to carpeted office, the sound of my shoes muffled and my mind calmed slightly as I waved back and approached the rough, plaid upholstery of the couch directly across from her. I sunk into the cushions of the couch as I spoke to her. *“Hey Doctor”* *“Please, Opal, call...

EM insight

8h ago

hello everyone, I recently got a interview for a experience manager at Ulta and was wondering if anyone had any insight or advice for me/if it’s worth it. I’ve seen a lot of posts on other threads saying that the position asks for a lot of you and does not include work life balance. I have never worked in a predominantly cosmetics retail space but I do have retail experience for five years. I’m 22 years old. I’ve worked at Bath and body Works as a Supervisor and cvs where I was a Supervisor in charge of the cosmetic section doing merchandising, etc. I’ve always wanted to work in a makeup store. I do not have a cosmetology license. I have a bachelors in communications, I love playin...

Anthem PPO + Lily coupon price

8h ago

I’m sorry if I’ve missed it somewhere but does anyone know why the insurance plus discount price isn’t dropping to $25 for me. It’s $161 at CVS and at Amazon pharmacy. I paid $25 for my first 2 rx fills.

Education

8h ago

Currently working at a grocery store pharmacy. I will be enrolling in their company program to become registered as a pharm tech with them however, I am looking to get nationally certified. In order to do this and have them pay the associated costs I will have to work for them first at least 3 yrs and have 3-4 different people sign off to approve the whole process. I would like to do this sooner so I will just pay my own education costs. What are some online programs that you all would recommend I look into? Currently in PA.

AITA for giving up trying to help my mentally/physically declining parents

9h ago

So I moved states and into their home to start helping my elderly parents who are physically and mentally declining. This was the main reason for moving here. The city is tiny, retirement community, one grocery store, one pharmacy, population of maybe 7,000 tops. It feels like your 30 years in the past. It’s beautiful but incredibly slow, boring, as well as aggravating due to not having the same day to day things any larger city has. Anyway..she has progressive MS and he has LBD. She’s in a wheelchair, ALWAYS angry at everything and mean/hateful and above all in denial about a multitude of things. Her cognitive decline is not as bad as his but getting there quickly. He can’t remember t...

VA community care prescription question/confusion

9h ago

Hi, had a question about a prescription situation I just dealt with. I’m having a procedure done, and had to pick up a script before it. This is through community care. when I picked it up I had to pay non insurance price because VA/optum would not go through. The picture above is of the denial reason (pharmacist provided it). The pharmacist said he’s been having issues with VA scripts lately doing this. I provided my VA ID card, and the RX instructions card we use for urgent care etc. he tried it 3 times, and it wouldn’t go through. Just kept getting denied. He said if I figure it out they will issue a refund. Figured I’d see what everyone thought, maybe some VHA employees on here ...

Are there cheaper, reputable alternatives to Chewy for Clomicalm?

10h ago

My dog was prescribed 5mg of Clomicalm. Dropped it off at CVS and just got a call that it’s a veterinary dose so they cannot fill it. Chewy has the prescription 30 tabs for $51, 60 for $120 or 90 for $180. I see a lot of online pharmacies and options but don’t really know what’s safe/reputable. Thank you!

What pharmacies are you getting Microlabs brand Cromolyn from?

10h ago

After over a year of slowly switching over from compounded cromolyn to Microlabs brand, I can finally take it without any side effects (and I'm saving $300 a month!). Of course, now my pharmacy is saying the manufacturer has discontinued it. I called Microlabs and they assured me they most definitely have not discontinued it, and that Walgreens carries it. I called Walgreens and they told me they only have Teva brand. Called Walmart, CVS, grocery stores, you name it... no one carries Microlabs. I am NOT willing to try another brand right now, it has been absolute **** just getting used to this one and I'm not in a place to be able to spend another year torturing myself to switch ag...

Walgreens was the hardest job I ever had

11h ago

This is what my pay check looks like now. I worked here for four years. Four years of misery and pulling each other down. I remember how we use to fight with each other for hours and beg and cry for $15 an hour. Holy **** that sounds crazy now. I can’t believe it. I was even a sfl from photo. I even did pharmacy tech but that was helped me to get out. Being an sfl was miserable too. The store manager constantly on edge and the other sfls snitching on each other and ****. **** that so stressful. Cleaning the bathrooms and ****. I miss all the free food though heheheh

RECALL ALERT: FDA recalls turmeric supplements sold in 30 states over mold contamination

12h ago

Qunol needs to do better when it comes to testing and ensuring their products are safe for consumers. Like how may people were using their products before they found the contamination? The recall affects about 42,740 bottles of Qunol Extra Strength Turmeric, 1,000-milligram supplements. The products were distributed to retail stores, including CVS locations, across multiple states, including Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Texas, New York, and California, among others. The recalled supplements were sold in 60-count and 120-count bottles with UPC codes 850184008428 and 850184008435. Impacted products carry lot codes 12811C120 BIO7771, 12811C120BJ BIO7772, or 12811C60 BIO8281, with a b...

So many yellow tags I can't even see the vitamins!!

13h ago

I went in to find a vitamin and left after a while without buying anything because I had to individually lift up each yellow tag just to see what was what. Not worth my time edit: I'm seeing lots of individual workers at stores reply to this post with "we can't win" type messages in the comments, so I want to clarify that I do not at \*all\* blame you, internet friends! I know it's not your fault! I \*do\* blame corporate CVS for this ridiculous wall of yellow. They need to do better with sending you all things that you can actually get the sales communication done without irritating customers. But I don't blame you! Keep doing great work!

Downhill store

14h ago

I’ve been with Walgreens for almost 3 years and worked at a few stores. My current store seems to really be going downhill. We are a Tier 4 and always extremely busy, with long lines at the counter and drive thru. There is no pharmacy manager, and 1 staff pharmacist who seems kind of iffy and doesn’t want to do anything they are not getting “paid” to do. Tech wise, we have 2 full time solid techs and 2 full time techs who have been with the company for a while but need some pushing to complete tasks and multitask. The RxOM I’ve heard is applying for other stores, which would then leave us without an RxOM. I do see potential with the pharmacy, with good leaders and helping motivate ...
