PLEASE tell me this CVS version is an actual dupe for the original OPI Nail Envy

5h ago

About a year ago I finally realized (because of y'all, tysm) that my nails kept peeling and breaking from the Orly bonder base I was using religiously. Did some research and decided to try to find the Nail Envy *original formula* and then went on the hunt. Found the new formula in most stores, but the general consensus is that the reformulation is ***. I did manage to find 4 bottles of the OG for $10 each at Marshall's and bought them all. Now I'm down to my last bottle and can't find the OG formula a n y w h e r e for a reasonable price ($20?? In this economy??). Short story long, has anyone used this CVS version? It's $5.29 and if it's a real dupe, I'...

WA leads the nation in retail theft

6h ago

***Washington loses $3 billion a year to retail theft. We run 40-48% higher than the national average. Washington consistently ranks No. 1 nationally for retail theft impact. Target closed stores. Seattle lost its 24-hour pharmacies. The stores that stay open are starting to look like prison commissaries. Everything behind plexiglass. Push a button, wait for someone to unlock it. Detergent. Toothpaste. Deodorant. Razors. Socks. Underwear. Is this really who we are now?*** \~ Yes. lol

I think most of us have some restaurant from our childhood that’s long gone but we can still remember like we were there yesterday. That was MacAlpine’s for me. I thought that cool soda fountain I used to go to as a kid was long gone, but awhile back I saw they had actually reopened after over 3 years of being closed. The place hasn’t changed a bit since I was a kid, except now you don’t enter through the antique shop. It got me wondering about what changes this place has gone through with it sort of being one of the oldest businesses in town. I wasn...

CVS PTCE exam + quitting timing

6h ago

Hi Reddit! I have a bit of a scheduling dilemma. I'm a college student working (multiple jobs) part-time, including as a tech at CVS. Over winter break, I picked up a few shifts at a store closer to my hometown, and I realized that my homestore that trained me has a pretty horrible working environment. I really want to quit at that store and maybe eventually transfer to a new one, but I'm not sure how that would work. Anyway, I'm hoping to have CVS pay for my PTCE before I put in my two weeks. I tried to schedule the exam over the winter, but my homestore said that they wouldn't pay for it as long as I'm on a "leave of absence." Does anyone know if I ...

Best Receipt Scanning And Coupon Apps To Stack

7h ago

There are a lot of apps that allow you to get rebates and make money from the things that you are already buying. There are two different types of receipt apps, ones that make money from the data and ones that contract with brands and offer rebates on specific purchases. Read at the end for what apps I use and my suggestions to start. # Ibotta * Format: **App** * Brand offers or data only: **Brand offers** * Rewards for recipes with no offers redeemed: **No** * New user referral bonus: **Get $5 after you redeem your first offer with code** fgwmfbw * Link accounts or manual scan: **Allows some accounts to link, but does not link to Kroger** * Allows Amazon receipts: **No** * Minimum...

Draft Wiki for New Patients!!

8h ago

Ok y'all - Working on a wiki for us, and I want it to be expansive. I figure this would probably be the most popular page, so i figured I'd post a draft here. Reading it now, I think i need to have a 'pre-step 1' or 'why join us' FAQ as well. I did use ChatGPT (ChatGLP as I like calling it now) to edit my grammar and tone). Let me know what you think, or what I need to fix! Always open for suggestions. # Pre-signup: Want to be in that Number? * **States we serve** * We currently serve all states except Arkansas. It is in process. * We are working on Puerto Rico as well. * We actually have a physician licensed for Guam, but no pharmacies that will de...

New CVS Caremark

9h ago

Hello. My school went private with our insurance. No longer insured under NJ Educators through the state with OptumRx. Now private and have Caremark. When navigating to my Caremark benefits and using their drug cost tool, I searched for my Zepbound and was shocked to see it says it will be covered 100%. Not available for Mail order or 90 day supply but then lists pharmacies. All the CVS pharmacies have a “Plan limitations exceeded” and when I click it says: 3 months. All other pharmacies, nothing. I was expecting a fight, does the Zepbound being covered mean I won’t have a problem with my PA. I haven’t submitted the new PA yet as my 1st appt of the year is next week. Anyone ev...

Applying to a closer CVS store – should I tell my manager first?

9h ago

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice from people who work (or have worked) at CVS. I’ve been with CVS as a pharmacy technician for about a month and a half. I recently obtained my pharmacy technician license. Currently, I work at a store that’s about 20–30 miles from my home, roughly a 30-minute drive each way. I noticed that there’s an open pharmacy technician position at another CVS location that’s literally about 2 minutes from my house, and I’m very interested in applying. At this point, I haven’t told my current pharmacy manager anything yet. I’m only averaging about 5–10 hours per week right now, so I don’t think my leaving would have a huge operational im...

I **** Scammers With A Passion!

9h ago

Resellers of new items are also scammers, which is why when I buy stuff on eBay, it's something vintage that I maybe grew up with and stupidly got rid of. I will never buy anything new on there. Where I work is also a target for resellers and we've known 2 of them by the name that popped up on our scannable stickers. One was D. Retail (but we called him D. "******") and he definitely was that. He literally got caught and shut down for reselling the stuff he bought from us out of a rat infested garage. The other who's address was right near his was D. Davidson and we feel like the 2 of them worked together back in 2024-2025. They both disappeared last year around summ...

Misplaced Floater Pharmacy Keys

9h ago

Hello, so I'm just wondering, does anything bad happen, like a write-up or a warning, because we found out that we lost the Floater Pharmacy Keys? The last person who had them was me. I checked all my clothes to see if I had mistakenly taken them home with me, but I hadn't. I checked the camera, and it showed me putting them in my pocket as soon as I received them from the Floater pharmacist. However, after that, the key could no longer be found in my pocket, so it has to be in the store. What are the consequences of this? Will i get fired even though this is my first time losing a key. And ive been working for cvs for 5 years. Edit: this is the only set of Floater keys we have, ...

CVS/Caremark and my 2026 copay

10h ago

Like many of you I have CVS/Caremark for my prescription coverage, but unlike many of you, Zepbound is covered for me. I put in for my first refill of 2026 a couple of days ago, and today I saw that my copay had risen from $25 to $75. I printed out a copy of the savings card and went to the pharmacy (Publix), and to my surprise, twhen they added the savings card he copay went back down to $25. The pharmicist told me that they never used it last year. Obviously I am incredibly happy about this, but it also shows that Caremark is not necessarily the one who is cutting people off, but rather it is what the company they work for wants to cover.
