CVS PHARMACY Locations

I know this is for a limited audience but it seems you can only find packs at CVS and Walgreens, so figured I’d share. Oxxo expanded into West Texas/New Mexico in the last year or so, as far as I know they’re only in Albuquerque NM, El Paso, Midland-Odessa, Lubbock, and Abilene areas. They have this display set up at most stores. I also found a full box at another location.

I have two prescriptions, one for Adderall 30mg XR and one for 5mg IRs. For the last three weeks I haven't been able to get either and it's been driving me batty. I get that pharmacists, especially at big chains, often don't have an easy job, but we are the the point where the people at CVS are starting to treat me with contempt, and give me borderline purposeful bad service, because they are sick of seeing me come in and make them punch into the system and ask every other day if my meds are there. I want to try another pharmacy system cos it's starting to affect my work to lack my meds, but I've had really truncated and wonky insurance trouble whenever I try to...

As I see news about store closures; Starbucks, Target, CVS, and more, I remember those "man on the street interviews", where the people claimed that if they kicked out the CEO's, the workers could take over. Yes, I know starting a business takes money, however, I must ask, "Can the neighborhood band together and take over?" Maybe each resident gives some money for some share, maybe the union responsible for some of these members can supply the start up capital, maybe, if the workers are that good, they can find an investor or two to help out? Heb pharmacy says they will fill this month of pain meds but after this month they will only fill from a pain management doctor. I'm going from taking 10/325 Norco to Tylenol 3 and the pharmacist is saying that they also have to get a diagnosis before filling it. By the way I have MS,RA and fibromyalgia they used to fill my pain medication from this same primary physician before I went to pain management but now they are being aholes and again saying that they will only fill from here on out from a pain management which I choose to stop going to and just would rather have my primary fill my meds and all my other medications. I have Partnership through medi-cal. CVS told me because I’m using Parternship I can’t get my meds delivered to me, even if I pay the delivery fee myself. My disability hinders my ability to drive so I don’t have any mode of transportation. I also have no one to help me either get there or pick it up for me. What are my options? Can I just not get my meds delivered at all from any pharmacy? Because Amazon told me the same thing. Partnership doesn’t allow delivery.

Hello everyone! I’m completely new to the pharmacy tech field, a trainee right now. My main thing I’m having trouble understanding is resolving insurance issues when the customer isn’t present. I work for CVS, they had me do drop off training for a day although I’m lost when it comes to QT. I got a few where like it says I can’t bill the insurance. 1. The insurance/third party doesn’t want to pay for the prescription because it’s over a 30 day supply? 2. Requesting a PR? 3. Any other things I may run into, and tips to help me out in the long run? :)

is there anything i can buy from a convenience store or pharmacy that will soothe an upset stomach? i have a super sensitive stomach to gluten & high fodmap foods that i have struggled to avoid. normally i take peppermint digestive pills. is there something similar i can buy here?

I need to know if other people have this experience filling their Vyvanse script at CVS. My best guess at what is happening is this: 1. My doctor writes my Vyvanse script for 3 months at a time and sends all 3 to the pharmacy at the same time. This usually happens about a week before I would be eligible to refill, according to the rules of filling a script for a controlled substance, because I don't want to run out of meds, and sometimes the doctor's office takes a few days to respond to e-visits. 2. i contacted my psychiatrist and because i’m on ****** insurance with a million limitations, i actually cannot get my hands on more of the very specific dose i can access. basically i have to get 30mg generic and take 2 every day but my insurance doesn’t cover anything lower/higher unless I use a pharmacy on the other end of the state—like literally a plane ride away. I wanted to ask other overnight Team Leads, Coaches, or anyone who has worked in a large store if they see a better way to utilize time and labor based on how our nights usually go. I’m not saying our store gets nothing done. Most nights we get almost all of consumables worked and fairly zoned. GM and the main hotspots usually get touched up, but not the entire store by any means. One-truck nights are usually okay. Two-truck nights are where it gets rough.
