Hi all! I am in Canada and have a patient that requires ephedrine 8mg caps/tabs for treatment of congenital myasthenia. The regulatory status of ephedrine changed in Canada earlier this year such that it can no longer be sold at supplement stores/online and must be purchased from a pharmacy. The problem is that because of the change (and I assume the projected loss in profitability) all of the Canadian products seem to have been discontinued by the manufacturers. For Canadian pharmacists - has anyone been able to find a supplier for this? For US pharmacists - Is there an 8mg oral dosage form available OTC or by prescription in the US? 2 Years of looking finally found my first super at a CVS. Out of 5 cars on the pegs 1 of them happened to be this super! Im starting to be convinced that avoiding Walmarts and Targets and instead targeting local drug stores, pharmacies, supermarkets with less competition is the way to go.

So three days ago, we got a new store manager. On day two and three he called in sick.
