CVS PHARMACY Locations

At my first interview at a neighborhood market pharmacy, the RXM told me that if I'm hired as a part timer, I can only be given a max of 33 hours per week. I asked her if I could take shifts from other Walmarts and she said that I would have to ask for her permission, and even after taking shifts from other Walmarts, the total hours between both stores CANNOT exceed 33 a week. She said that every retail pharmacy has this policy, which is hard to believe considering I worked at Walgreens and they let you pick up shifts from other stores without our home store manager "approving" it. Is this policy RXM dependent or is it really something Walmart enforces?

Does anyone else have their crappy pharmacy text you one fill date, and then push it back to day 29? They used to fill on day 26 or so, then made it day 28 last month, and now changed it last minute to day 29/30 for all pain meds. My insurance is willing to fill it on day 26 - it’s all the vile pharmacy. I have heard that some independent pharmacies will fill on the day that insurance will cover it? Does anyone know of an ethical, independent pharmacy in Maryland?

i just received a brand new prescription for prozac from my doctor on friday, she sent it to a new cvs pharmacy as i moved recently. i’ve never taken it, this will be my first fill on this prescription, but the app is giving me the refill too soon notice and is saying it’s not ready for pickup. i haven’t even started taking it so how is this possible? do i have to contact my doctor to confirm the prescription, or get in contact with this pharmacy to confirm it’s not a refill, it’s actually my first dose?

Anyone get their estrogel HRT shipped from somewhere that will let you use a coupon? I'm trying to find somewhere I can pay less for it, without picking up at a pharmacy. The pharmacies in my area are so overworked, it's always an hour long errand (at least!). I'm currently using the generic (Ani manufacturer). My practitioner sent it to walgreens, and both cvs and walgreens have said they won't ship it.

Ten days ago, my oncologist sent a prescription to my pharmacy (CVS) for extended release Oxycodone. CVS initially said they were out of stock and would let me know when it came in. Then, they moved it to "do you still need this?" status. When I called them, their automated system told me the situation was "resolved" but the script has still never been filled. At this point, I'll ask my doctor to move it back to the clinic pharmacy but I'm curious if anyone else has ever had this happen. Seems very weird to me.

I’ve been meaning to buy some designer perfumes and I discovered this online store of nahdi pharmacy. The discounted prices seem too good to be true and I wanted to confirm if any of you have bought perfumes from here. Do let me know if they are reliable and sell genuine perfumes. I am mostly skeptical about buying online especially perfumes as I have been duped by noon once and I do not want a repeat of that 😅

So for context I have worked at CVS for about 6 months now. I am technically still registered as part time although I work 34+ hour weeks so I’m not receiving any full-time benefits despite working the hours. First red flag for me is that I have noticed that when I am scheduled to open (I’m a shift) I never had anyone else opening with me, while everyone else with minor exceptions has someone coming in and opening with them. I bought this iPad off of a liquidation shop. It was running iOS 9.3.5 and it was running normally, however it wasn’t running really well so I decided to downgrade the iPad to iOS 8.4.3 for better performance. Upon the restoration being completed. I see the screen as shown in the photo. The iPad turned out to be DEP locked and can ONLY be unlocked by CVS IT support. So I am asking if any one knows a CVS IT employee or if any one that works at CVS IT can help out here. As even Apple can’t unlock it.

Hi! So for some context I used to work at CVS but got layed off last year due to a manger hiring 2 people and not having enough hours for me. I know someone who works at Walgreens as a pharmacy manager who said she was looking for more staff and would gladly hire me. I put in an application and she said my name was greyed out, she said that meant is was flagged by their AI. I changed a couple of things on my resume and now she said my name was in red and said that meant I was on a do not hire list. I don't know why and am trying to figure it out, what normally puts someone on a do not hire list? my record is fully clean and I don't know what could cause this?

Any new quick dials for calling another cvs without having to say “yes” and “speak to pharmacist”? I used to dial 8004 but ever since the new phone system came out, the only stores I could do that for reliably was the targets. Now, even they have the new phone system. Feel free to dm me too

Went to TJMaxx today, which I admit was a terrible idea since Saturdays are always busy, but it's the only day I have to run errands. Anyways, the store was super crowded, and I found myself literally sprinting from aisle to aisle because there were tons of toddlers and infants shoved in shopping carts coughing their lungs out. Now, this wasn't just the pathetic little kid cough -- this was full-blown "I have whooping cough or the flu" type ****. Im still super new as a Pharmacy Tech, but at least I know you can't be showing up 10 minutes late after lunch with a McChicken in hand and a ****** attitude to the pharmacy. I understand she is a floater, but dear god I feel so sorry for her home store. I was offered a position back at Kroger pharmacy but they said starting out to get 40 hours I'll need to split stores before they can offer me 40 at one store. I know I'll need to get above 32 hours to get health benefits, but if I'm splitting stores would I be counted as not eligible because both stores are less than 32

So I’m having a crisis. My dog, Kodie (boxer mix - about 50lbs, may be less because she hasn’t been eating lately) has redeveloped an aural hematomas. She hasn’t had 2 in the past, 1st one reabsorbed on its own, 2nd time we got it drained, and now it’s back.
