Hi everyone, I’m in the Atlanta / South Atlanta area and currently looking for entry-level pharmacy technician roles. I’m Georgia-licensed but don’t have pharmacy work experience yet. Does anyone know of staffing agencies or recruiters in the Atlanta area that are actively hiring pharmacy techs right now, especially temp, temp-to-hire, or training-friendly placements (retail, long-term care, mail-order, hospital, etc.)? I’ve already checked places like Walgreens, CVS, and Indeed with little luck, so I’m specifically looking for staffing agencies or direct recruiter contacts. Any leads, names, or personal experiences would really help. Thanks!

I had a combined pharmacy and retail order at CVS today. It originally threw me for a loop when said there were two barcodes to scan – indicated in the last photo. (The gig just said it was a pharmacy order). Then we saw the note on the first bag that it was a combined order. Has anyone else seen this?

Hi new friends, I'm new to this community, but I wanted to share a small little win I had today. I have pretty bad driving and shopping anxiety and have been testing out exposure therapy and actually made it through a busy Walgreens on my own today. My therapist has been coaching me to take small steps to just "do the thing while feeling uncomfortable." Easier said than done, right? Hello, job searching, I've found an interest to work at CVS. I currently work as a Price Book Analyst for retails. I control the price book database for all Stores and Liquor Stores, and managing inventory. Also, have accounting experience as a clerk and account payable. My goal is to get into Corporate for CVS. Picked up my script at cvs today and got these again.. the orange A on the front, 80 on the back. Wherever I go be it cvs, Walgreens, target- the past 3 months I’ve gotten these! Can you use your cards for store loyalty programs when you're doing shop orders ? Like CVS Extra Care Cards or the Walgreens one ? Or does this cause issues ?

I just spoke to Manulife and they said prescriptions have to be filled at a Preferred Provider (aka. Walmart pharmacy) in order for them to be covered. Is this true? And, if so, what percentage of it is covered? Is it different for PT vs FT employees?

I’ve worked with this lead tech for two years now and they are terrible at their job. They come in, sit down and be on their phone. Every shift. They are our only lead and they have worked for the store for about 5 years now. They know morning shift will complete qp and do everything for them because we take our jobs seriously.
