I promise I will test back any comment I receive here!! TTC After a Year of Spiro3h agoThis post is for anyone like me (33F) who was scouring the internet once I decided to come off spironolactone to try to conceive. TL;DR: I slowly tapered off spironolactone (100 mg → 0 mg over several months) before TTC. My acne didn’t rebound, cycles stayed regular, ovulation improved, and I conceived on my third cycle off spiro, with only minor side effects. I was on 100mg/day for acne for just over a year when we decided to TTC. I was absolutely horrified of my skin going crazy. There is no medical evidence that tapering off avoids the nasty rebound of acne but this is what I decided to do. I went to see my derm to discuss tapering off and topicals (which I will get into at the ... Fragrance/cologne in pharmacy?? I keep getting headaches3h agoI am a retail Pharmacist at a new company. There is an experienced Tech at my store that wears a lot of cologne. I have been developing severe headaches on the shifts we work together to the point it’s hard to concentrate/cause nausea. I don’t have sensitivities (no diagnosed allergies, definitely not pregnant, no high blood pressure or migraines). I wore a blue mask while giving vaccines in the consultation room and it still trails. I have worked with many teams in 25 years and have never been in this situation. There is no policy at our large corporation that addresses fragrance in the pharmacy. I’d like to say I have the confidence to address this on my own, but I am really str... Warning for Jan 2026: Check your plan for the "Copay Accumulator" clause before you pick up your first refill.4h ago**The Context** We are two weeks into the new plan year. Many of you with expensive Tier 4 or Tier 5 prescriptions (autoimmune meds, insulin, specialty drugs) rely on "Manufacturer Coupons" or "Copay Cards" to knock that $500 monthly co-pay down to $5 or $0. **The Trap** In the past, that $500 the manufacturer paid on your behalf counted toward your deductible. It helped you "race" to your Out-of-Pocket Maximum early in the year. However, for 2026, many Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) have quietly added a **"Copay Accumulator Adjustment"** program. **Why this destroys your wallet:** You pick up your meds in Jan, Feb, and March. The coupon pays the bi... How I became a consistently profitable online trader (with proof) & my attempt to invest in stocks profitably (M...5h agoThis post has 3 parts. The post is part 1. Part 2 and 3 are in the comment section because it's too long to fit on the post. PART 1 Today is your lucky day. There's no business where people share their secrets in detail like in trading or investing, whether free or paid. None of you should ever say a Zimbabwean or anyone never tells people how they make money anymore. I'm not the type of person to ask for this, but before you continue reading please up vote this post to pump it's algo and views, so we disprove all these people who say Zimbos are too selfish to show others how they make money. Don't share it to other subs though, for a reason I shall expl... Apothecary from the 13th century, help with writings5h agohttps://preview.redd.it/670y287cvodg1.jpg?width=1463&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1c5adf10d76984ff4ad72a040fb9d9e0b7e30fee Dear all, I am a historian of medicine. Here's a 18th-century copy of a 13th-century Arabic picture of a dispensing room in a pharmacy. It is stored at the Museum of Pharmacy in Wrocław, Poland. I am curious what are the writings upon these jars and bottles read. Also, what's the caption of this picture. As it may be a specialistic nomenclature of old materia medica (botanical herbal materials, plant species, minerals, preparations, remedies), I'd be happy that someone of you could re-write these writings in modern Arabic for me, s... LF Job Near Sindalan7h agoLooking for a job sa manufacturing-preferred pepsi or cocacola or retail store- preferred jumbo jenra, puregold, dali, osave pharmacy- mercury or any other PA roles Background ko po, 2 year course graduate- IT course 7 yrs exp in retail warehouse. Near Sindalan po sana, Salamat po😊! SFL threw her keys + cussed @me tonight7h agoSo I’m an IS, recently transitioned to my role the last few months. I was a pharmacy tech for 8 years approx, was an rxom, stepped down to tech, left the company. Came back as an SFL last year , now an IS (11 years total). Still learning a lot upfront. This SFL has been an issue for awhile, with almost everyone. She has caused people to quit (they told me). Long story of all the problems , general gist is she is vindictive and mean. Noticeably doesn’t pull weight, get ic3s , won’t help in pharmacy despite being capable , etc. hides and abuses breaking whenever she wants. Today, I was very late, I’m sick with a stomach bug. Well, the closing cashier and another SFL called in, so me ... 👋 Welcome to r/Sellingmyhome8h agoDiscover your dream lifestyle in this enchanting home, part of Park East Club, a 55+ retirement neighborhood community in Sarasota, Florida. Feeling discouraged, looking for advice (Insurance PAs, savings card)9h agotl;dr version: After a PA denial and CVS being unsuccessful in applying the Wegovy savings card, I'm looking to see if anyone has any advice for successfully appealing a PA denial or getting the savings card to work. Long version: I started Wegovy last August and had been losing .5 lbs to 1 lb per week on the starting 0.25 dose. While I feel like this loss is on the slower side, my doctor is happy with my progress and I want to avoid the side effects that come from moving up in doses quickly as I have both GERD and IBS. Plus, I see this process as a marathon not a sprint and I expect that I will need to be on weight loss medication for the rest of my life. My weight loss on 0... I came back to wows after circa 2 years. I had a blast playing for past week and I plan to play for next 2-3 months with my brother. Thing is, weegee is trying to drain my wallet already with juicy 50% off cupon for basically anything in premium store (outside items that are already under "sale"). So doubloons, ships, premium. I have about month and half of prem time from logging in and from container so no need need for that. Are any outstang ships in store right now (ignoring SUB and CVs)? I'm not looking for tier X, more for something that can print credits and be used decently in ranked. If not then I ... Utilizing CSP, maybe?12h agoI got a CSP last month. Wanted to use the "dashpass" credit. There were all groceries and pharmacies I could order from. I needed mouthwash. Found that CVS is giving 30% discount. Adding the 10$ credit, I got two mouthwash at only 3$, including all charges. The delivery was delayed a lot. When I let the support know, I also got a $5 apology credit. So, effectively I paid nothing. I didn't have to spend something that I would not otherwise. The card isn't bad, at least for me, as it seems. Pharmacy vs front treatment12h agoHi, I worked up front for an about a year and have now been in pharmacy full time for 6 months. I’ve also worked at 3 different stores. It’s absolutely insane how different you’re treated working in pharmacy vs up front. (Of course it all varies store to store) A few examples getting away with dress code, being on your phone, taking personal calls on the work phones, management just not really caring as much disciplinary wise towards pharmacy staff, your opinions/concerns being heard/considered more, spending the vaccine gift cards on whatever and not sharing with people up front (maybe I’m wrong but I heard it’s supposed to be for the whole store). Overall, in my experience workin... Retail SM Internship12h agoHas anybody here done the retail store manager internship or has been a SM that trained an intern? I just got accepted for it and I’m pumped! I’ve been with CVS as a shift for a year and a half now and I’m ready to continue to grow into this career. How was your experience? Any tips or tricks you can throw my way? And btw, I actually like my job. Hence why I’m doing this internship. So please don’t try to talk me down and tell me to run away from it all, because that’s not happening. :) Pharmacy product recommendations for dehydrated sensitive skin to get in S. Korea13h agoHi all! Basically my title lol. My mom is going on a short trip to S. Korea in the spring, and I asked her if she could pick up a few skincare items for me to try when she returns. I unfortunately can't go with her. I have been researching different product recommendations online and have come across a few posts recommending the same PDRN and acne/scar ointments that one can pick up at a pharmacy. However, none of them have a dry/sensitive skin type OR you can technically get them online in the USA now. For anyone who has visited recently, or is knowledgable, are there any recommended products for eczema prone, sensitive/dry skin that you can get at a pharmacy or store in S. Korea? W... I am quasi house sitting for my voice teacher this weekend, and my mom of course twisted it into proof that I “don’t...14h agoAs some may see in previous posts from me on here, I am a quasi-secondary caregiver for my father. While my mom does the brunt of the work with him, such as taking him to appointments, cooking his meals, helping him get up and ready for the day or go to bed, I run all their errands every weekend to the grocery store, pharmacy, and etc., help with household chores, assist him up and down off the toilet, and keep an eye on our elderly dog who loves to chew her foot now and do other miscellaneous tasks. I recently set boundaries that I cannot be their primary resource for aid in the evenings and weekends just because I’m living with them. As his care needs become more complex due to his PSP ... Attn: CVS employees (particularly Pharmacy): how can I as a customer help your store/pharm surveys & scores (I n...14h agoHi all 👋🏻, as said above — I’ve been out of the corporate CVS game for awhile (I used to be a CVS Tech for 2 yrs after an acquisition) - is there a way to provide a survey even if my receipts don’t have a “survey ID #” (I think CVS is onto my bias, lol)?? I still really want to contribute positive feedback (and 10s 😘) because I know how erroneous, tiresome, and messed up that store survey & rating system is. Any tips from current CVS (or any corporate pharmacy employees) on how I can help boost pharm “scoring” and morale? I swear I do all the other courteous, common sense things and love my techs, clerks, and Rphs out there! I just wanna support and help underm... Learnings from 4 months job hunting14h agoI’ve just finished job hunting after being made redundant and thought people might benefit from some of the advice I was given and some of the things I found during my search. So my requirements for a job were: - £100k - £120k target salary - management role in tech - fully remote or 1-2 days per week max in office but I wanted them to be flexible on that - no going in just to be in the office with no purpose I had been applying for a few months before losing the job and thought I had a good CV - I didn’t. So I had both my cv and my LinkedIn profile reviewed by professionals and the feedback was really helpful LinkedIn First the basics. Header image and profile pic.
