Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the CVS Pharmacy Latest Community Discussions About CVS PharmacyName the worst thing you did as a kid3h agoStole a bunch of lipsticks at my local CVS store. I wasn't ready for this5h agoI've been my mother's caregiver for over 20 years. She is 78 now. I did my best to help her through everything from fibromyalgia to heart attacks, having her teeth punched out and damaging 4 vertebrae, to hepatitis and cancer. She had a 40 minute seizure on February and spent a week in the hospital before being released back home with me. She was doing alright, mobility was a little reduced but she was still getting around the house. Last Friday, April 3rd, she had to go to town for a prescription and ended up stuck wandering around the store for and hour waiting on the pharmacy. She over exerted herself to the point of total exhaustion and ended up unable to get out of bed for a w... Reco Clinical Pharmacy Textbooks5h agoHello! RPh here. May mga clinical pharmacist ba rito? Tanong ko lang sana sa inyo if may mairerecommend ba kayong textbooks para mag-aral about clinical pharmacy. Kay DiPiro kasi gamit namin noong undergrad, pero baka may iba pang widely used and recognized textbooks out there. Tsaka baka may pdf copy kayo or alam na reliable store na p'wedeng bilhan hehe. Not your regular stall8h agoI started my journey at 367lbs in march last year. Between march and August I went down to 280lbs, building up to 15mg in that time. In August I travelled in a way that meant I couldn't reliably store a pen and my pharmacy said a 2 weeks break wouldn't be an issue. I ate sensibly on the trip and didn't gain anything. I resumed at 15mg again on the advice of my pharmacy. Since then, I've lost exactly 0lbs. I'm still 280, in April. I haven't gained, I haven't lost. The difference has been stark, less enthusiasm for dieting, even periods where I consistently eat well and exercise the weight hasn't been coming off. The urge to eat poorly is back, ... Do you all see alcoholics everywhere now?10h agoJust curious if you all spot alcoholics everywhere you go now. I was so oblivious to it before. Now I can occasionally smell that sickly smell on people at the grocery store or notice the people walking out of groceries with a bottle in the AM. The other day I saw an older man coming out of CVS with a handle way too early in the mornin, head down in shame. Even the social alcoholic tendencies- always needing a drink when out, even if it’s an 11am lunch with kids, drinking at kids game/parties, etc. TL;DR customer mad10h agoi am a part time employee at a cvs and yet everytime i close the store i get people with attitudes, for instance tonight i had a lady yell at me because i didn’t show her the coupons center when its right when you walk in on the left!!!! its not my job to be the only one with a brain. Any experience with OTC-online- store: Russian pharmacy?10h agoAny issues with them and getting shipment to the united states? Wondering from people who have ordered from them before Pharmacy POV for syringe/needle dispensing11h agoHi. I hope this is allowed. If not, please delete. I was hoping to get some perspective from those that familiar with pharmacy policy - if any. This may be store dependent. I’ve been picking up 1mL vials of B12 injectable for my dad. He gets 6 vials at a time. His prescriber also sends a prescription for 21g x 1.5” 3ml syringe/needle combo. The first time I picked them up. No issues. The 2nd time, I got vials but no syringes or needles. I was told they didn’t have any in stock. I was annoyed but I was also working inpatient at the hospital and just grabbed some from our supply closet. Third time I’m told they didn’t have any syringe/needles in stock and there’s no prescript... Failing Capstone Assessment13h agoHey everyone, I recently got hired as a pharmacy tech at a CVS that’s extremely busy and severely understaffed. Because of that, I’ve had no hands-on training at the different stations even though I’ve been here almost a week now. And on top of that, I’ve basically been told to finish the modules as fast as I possibly can, which makes it tough to actually retain any of the information. I’m starting to feel anxious about the Capstone assessment when it’s time to take it. If I fail the Capstone, can I get fired? If not, how many chances do you get, and how long do they usually give you to study before you have to retake it? Any advice would really help. Thanks! Thoughts on job offer?13h agoJust recently passed my PTCB in February and started to reach out for different jobs from my current one and could use some opinions and thoughts on the situation. After getting certified I got offered a new position at my current job making $19.50/Hr at CVS as a pharmacy tech and recently had an interview for a compounding position at a hospital. I just got a call back from the hospital letting me know the position I applied for has been filled, but was offered a different position. Pharmacy technician tier 1 inpatient, I believe. With the offer being $18.70/Hr and a 5k sign on bonus. Trying to see the pros and cons here with the big cons being less pay and a 20-25 minute further commut... The Invisible Cashier14h agoWe have three pharmacy registers at my store. I lost track today of how many times I would point at a customer who is clearly waiting for me and said "if you just go here, and put your info in I'll be right over" followed by them staring blankly at me. Like ****, I know my eyes don't work together but I know for **** sure I'm literally locking eyes with you right now. Or the amount of times I would say "hey, folks, welcome in! if you're here to pick up, please walk up to any open register and put your info in!" "Who, me?" No, the ******* boogeyman behind you!! On the lighter side…14h agoWhen you pick up a bag of meds this big at the pharmacy, people are super helpful. They’re just lucky I didn’t take any before I went to the store! 😂 Stepful Program Review | PTCB14h agoI started my program in late August 2025 and finished early December 2025, and took my PTCB late December 2025. I just wanted to share some of my insights on the program. I can't remember the price exactly, but I know it was 2000, something close to 3000. During week 3, you are able to ask for a "scholarship," but really all it is is 500$ off if you have at least an 80% grade. So originally it was 171$ every two weeks, and after the 500 applied, it was 99$ every two weeks. It was two days a week on Zoom, and the rest of the week was videos and daily quizzes. There are 3 exams, a midterm, and a final. You get 3 chances on the exam to get 80%, and our teacher allowed 2 chances ... Can you believe this??????14h agoLost Wallet at Space Kroger (Hwy 29)15h agoUPDATE: It was turned in, without the $200. So Yay for sentimental reasons, but seriously bummed they took the cash. It’s a small cowhide wallet that holds 4 cards on the outside. I was parked by the cart return in front of the pharmacy entrance side of store. It was my Deceased Father’s and something that means so much to me! Keep the cash - I don’t care. I just want the wallet. Where to Buy 35mm Film15h agoHey y'all, I'm spending the day in Athens tomorrow, and I was wondering if there were any local camera stores, or anywhere where I could buy a roll of 35mm film besides the cheap stuff at CVS. Let me know! The peptide space is evolving quickly, here’s what John F. Kennedy said about the FDA and compounding pharmacies15h agoWe’ve been seeing a noticeable shift in the conversation around peptides lately, especially when it comes to quality, sourcing, and how these therapies are accessed. A lot of this attention comes from recent discussions around potential regulatory changes, including comments from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about expanding access to certain peptides through more structured, regulated pathways. If that direction materializes, it would represent a meaningful change in how peptides are produced, prescribed, and used. # Where things stand today Right now, many of the peptides people are using fall into a gray area. * They’re often labeled 'for research use only' * Not approved for h... vegan, gluten-free protein bars?17h agoHi all, my diet is complicated and you probably don't want to hear about it. But in the States, I like to have vegan protein bars handy, especially when I'm traveling. Are there any vegan, gluten-free protein bars available in Greece? If so, are there particular places I should look for them? (like in the States I can find them in grocery stores, some larger pharmacies, and body-builder supplement stores) I don't need a particular macro profile, but in case you're interested here are the macros for my brand: Fat 12g Carbs 23g (6g fiber, 3g sugar) Protein 14g Thanks in advance for your recommendations! ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
