CVS PHARMACY Locations

I am taking the PTCE on Saturday and hope to begin looking for a job in pharmacy. I worked in 2020 at CVS and am very hesitant on any retail settings, but there is a Costco near me that has a potential opening. I have also looked into hospital setting since I think it would be better for my mental health, but I would love to hear experiences with both and which might potentially be the better option. I am also not 100% sure what a hospital setting would be like, so any personal experiences would be helpful!

I went to go pick up my 30-day script yesterday only to be told I was a day early. Weird but no problem. Usually, I will take my last pill on the same day that I pick up my refill but this month I was off by a day. I did the math in my head and it didn’t really make sense. My two conclusions are: A) the pharmacy miscounted - which I highly doubt. B) I lost a pill somehow. Maybe set it down somewhere in the morning. I take 50mg so there’s no way I could double up and take 100mg without noticing. I’ve got a meeting at 10am. It’s 9:45am. I’m “browsing” the grocery store aka pacing until I get the text it’s ready. Does anyone else constantly have issues with pharmacies not allowing Ajovy to be on autorefill? I have been on this med for like 8 years and for some reason, both CVS and the hospital-based pharmacy associated with my neurologist's office will not allow me to put it on autorefill, I need to request it online or call every single month. Does anyone have a chain pharmacy or Boston area local one that doesn't require prep work to get the prescription every month? I can't find any reason why this can't be on autorefill, as it's not a controlled substance.

I'm a new diabetic so this is all very new to me still. Unfortunately when I got home from work and the drug store I forgot that my new pack of lantus insulin pens needed to be refrigerated. I checked all 5 of them this morning and they weren't cloudy and didn't appear spoiled in any way. Are these pens still safe for me to use or should I call my pharmacy and explain to them what happened with the hope that they'll give me new pens?

Before paying, the staff kept warning me that once I buy it, there’s no refund. I said okay, assuming that only applied to opened/used items. I am a technician at a target-cvs pharmacy location and I am organizing the meds on the shelves. i am hoping to add more shelves to expand my topical medication section as we literally have creams of tretinoin on top of ointment tube of triamcinolone.
