im up in Rogers Park, and only just noticed that joint Variety Foods on Sheridan and Lunt. its nothing special, just what the title implies. corner store with essentials - snacks, milk, bread, eggs, drinks, cigarettes if youre into that. and some sandwiches that are only just \_okay\_. theyve got a little counter with a neon sign for ice cream and coffee, maybe they have that in nicer months? BUT. its well lit and clean and the guys nice enough. its nice to have a convenience store thats not 7/11 or CVS or Walgreens within walking distance. its also east of sheridan, so living on that side, i dont need to cross the street. so i ask the chat, tell me about your corner stores.

I have worked for wag since 2022 at 3 different stores. All have been a little sketchy but this one is by far the worst. I recently got promoted to IS but every day with my SM is ****.
