I'm considering taking the vacant RXOM position at my store. An RXOM from a nearby store was hyping up the job and said an RXOM gets a straight 40 hours, works 9:00 to 5:30, Monday through Friday, and is exempt from closing or working weekends. That didn't ring true, because the previous RXOM at my store definitely closed and I think worked weekends occasionally. I looked at the Walgreen's fair scheduling policy and it states \*ALL\* full-time employees must work one closing shift or one weekend shift per week. My friend told me CVS has a feature that lets you see which pharmacy has your prescription in stock so that you can transfer it Well my doctor sent in my prescription and of course my pharmacy doesn’t have it in stock. But it doesn’t give me an option to “Change Pickup Location” Is this because it’s being processed at my current pharmacy? Or does it have something to do with my insurance?
